NXT Cruiserweight Championship

WWE announced (or threw that announcement in really!) that the NXT Cruiserweight Championship will be defended on the Kick-off Show in a triple threat match involving the champion Lio Rush, Kalisto from Smackdown, and Akira Tozawa from RAW.

The news broke during the live preview of Survivor Series with Cathy Kelley, Mike Rome and Sarah Schreiber on WWE’s official Youtube channel. It is such a lame way to be honest to announce a match that has the potential to be a show stealer.

Tag Team Champions’ Triple Threat Moved To The Kickoff

WWE decided (for an ungodly reason!) to move the triple threat involving New Day (SD tag team champions), Viking Raiders (Raw tag team champions), Undisputed Era (NXT tag team champions) to the pre-show.

This announcement causes the match to join a Battle Royal and the NXT Cruiserweight Title match triple threat on the two-hour kickoff show.

The signs are there that Survivor Series might go off the rails completely, considering the potential of these two matches.
