“Pennsylvania, make some noise!” Apparently Truth was playing it safe, not getting the wrong city name on this whirlwind holiday tour of New England. No good video is given but it looks to be the same sequences from Madison Square Garden. Therefore, we can assume another Bollywood Blitz takes down the 747 7/11 24/7 European Television Champion, and Samir again covers Truth to win.

Winner: Samir Singh, by pinfall; NEW WWE 24/7 Champion

Now this has some video footage to go off of from WWE themselves. As Samir demands he be announced the winner by Mike Rome, the ring announcer didn’t take too kindly to the disrespectful finger jabbing and shouting in his face. Fans boo Samir, so Rome rolls him up! ROME WINS!

And we have the first-ever WWE ring announcer to hold that belt! History is made in Steel City, but Rome doesn’t even have time to announce it for himself before Sunil rolls him up! Sunil wins the title back!

Historical moments don’t last forever, and now the Singh Brothers have the belt again. But they again argue about who gets to keep it, and Truth returns! More MSG deja vu as he knocks Sunil into Samir and then rolls Sunil up for the pin! TRUTH WINS!

This victory Mike Rome does have time to announcer. Truth clicks his heels and heads on out of Steel City! Will Truth  make it to 2020 as the 27-time 24/7 Champion?

My Thoughts:

I wish WWE had more of this available, but we got the important parts. I like the twist of adding Mike Rome to the hot potato game of the title. But I’m also noticing a pattern these last couple of days. Truth became the 25-time champion in time for Christmas on the 25th, then had his 26th on the 26th, and this makes for 27th on the 27th. Perhaps Truth will somehow lose and win back this title enough times so that he’s the 31-time champion before New Year’s Eve is over. Also, I hope WWE’s flub of claiming this title is being retired was just that. Otherwise it was spoilers for a BS plan from them to end the title that’s been so much fun. Though, I wouldn’t put it past Vince McMahon being so against something organically becoming popular outside of his own plans. You could insert any number of examples here, but let’s hope this title and Truth’s run with it becomes the thing that breaks the streak.
