The bell rings and Nakazawa circles with Sabian. Sabian gets a good luck kiss from his Bad Girl girlfriend before tying up with Nakazawa. Sabian wrenches to a hammerlock, then snapmares and chinlocks. Nakazawa slips out, armlocks to a facelock and then moves around. Fans rally as Sabian wrenches and waistlocks. Nakazawa works on the hold, but then says no no. OIL UP! Nakazawa wiggles and slips free! Then he kicks Sabian low to throw big forearms. Nakazawa whips, Sabian ducks and hurdles and slides under to shove Nakazawa for a calf kick! Fans boo as Sabian builds speed to wreck Nakazawa with a dropkick! But Sabian slipped just a bit on the oil so it wasn’t a clean hit. Penelope builds speed but the ref won’t let her dive!

Sabian gets away with Nakzawa to the stage and throws him into the beach fencing! It topples over! Sabian then scoops and slams Nakazawa on the sandy stage! The sand counteracts the oil and now Nakazawa is all gritty. Sabian grabs a surfboard and brings it over, but Nakazawa ducks the swing! Nakazawa dropkicks the board into Sabian! The board breaks at the nose, but Nakazawa slams it down on Sabian! The ref tells both men to get back in the ring, but Nakazawa decides to ride the waves! Fans cheer as Nakazawa double stomps the board into Sabian, then slips to unintentionally senton on Sabian! Nakazawa drags Sabian up and brings him down the ramp. Penelope gets clear as Nakazawa puts Sabian in and climbs up top. Sabian stands to get a flying shoulder tackle! Cover, TWO! Nakazawa runs at Sabian corner to corner but is put on the apron.

Nakazawa rocks Sabian but Penelope grabs at Nakazawa. Nakazawa oils up his leg to get her off him, but Sabian dropkicks Nakazawa down! Sabian goes out to put Nakazawa in while fans taunt Penelope in Spanish. Sabian springboards and dropkicks Nakazawa down! Cover, TWO! Penelope is frustrated for Sabian but Sabian brings Nakazawa up. Sabian whips Nakazawa hard into buckles, then corner to corner. Nakazawa bounces off buckles and falls to the mat, and Sabian complains about the oil. Sabian brings Nakazawa up but Nakazawa throws forearms! Sabian kicks low then facelocks to suplex and hang Nakazawa up. Draping neckbreaker! Cover, TWO! Sabian grows frustrated but Penelope coaches him on. Fans rally and Sabian brings Nakazawa up. Sabian fisherman’s but Nakazawa slips out to waistlock and O’Conner roll! TWO and Penelope SQUIRTS ALL THE OIL on Nakazawa’s face!

Wait. Nakazawa wants it?! So Penelope gives it to him! Sabian drags Nakazawa up, kicks Nakazawa low, and Nakazawa unintentionally SPITS oil like a mist! Sabian is blinded, Nakazawa throws forearms and whips. Nakazawa reels Sabian in for an OLYMPIC SLAM! Sabian flounders as Nakazawa takes off the strap! Nakazawa weaponizes his jock strap but Sabian kicks low! But Nakazawa ducks, ripcords, and JOCK STRAP CLAWS PENELOPE! Oops. Penelope is disgusted but Sabian BOOTS Nakazawa down! Sabian checks on his poor Bad Girl, but Nakazawa clubs Sabian! Nakazawa reels Sabian in, Sabian slips free, but Nakazawa coutners the suplex! TWO and the strap is rearmed. But Sabian sweeps legs to send Nakazawa into buckles! Torture rack, DEATHLY HOLLOWS! Cover, Sabian wins!

This was down right dirty, and Penelope will need mouth wash, a tooth brush and even a shower. But are the Superbad super couple going to clean up in 2020?

My Thoughts:

AEW YouTube, you crazy. I don’t know why this match wasn’t uploaded a week ago since it would’ve been from the Bash at the Beach event two weeks ago. But better late than never, as is the saying. This was definitely a fun match, the commentary team was cracking up over both the action and their own dialogue, and Sabian getting the win was the right move. Nakazawa has some Dark Order story coming up for sure, and Sabian stays strong towards his story with Joey Janela. But seriously, AEW needs to put these on at more relevant times or on more relevant programs.
