The Cruise of Jericho was a great time, but there are plenty of great matches still to be seen! What happened in the shadows of the Cruise of Jericho?

Tables Match: Nyla Rose VS Shanna!

The Native Beast and Portugal’s Perfect Athlete have been tooth and nail with each other, but now they look to break wood using each other’s body! Who crashes down as the Norwegian Pearl sails on?

The ref has to keep these two apart before the bell, even in a match with no rules but to smash tables. The bell does ring and Shanna rushes Nyla with furious forearms! Nyla pushes her away but Shanna returns with a Thesz Press and fast hands! Nyla shoves Shanna again but Shanna jumps on for a sleeper hold. Nyla powers Shanna up and then throws her down! Nyla clobbers Shanna and shouts, “I will BREAK you!” Nyla goes out and fans are fired up already as she brings out a TABLE! But Shanna LEAPS to crossbody Nyla down first! Fans fire up as Shanna puts Nyla in the ring and takes the table for her own. Shanna gets the table propped up and then slides it in, but Nyla has the other end! Nyla jams the table into Shanna and Shanna hits barriers!

Nyla pushes the table back out and then hurries to BOOT Shanna back down! Nyla makes sure the table gets in properly and then sets it up in a corner. Fans fire up as they anticipate the table’s usage. Nyla goes out to club and clobber Shanna and put her in the ring. Fans rally and duel as Nyla stalks Shanna. Nyla clubs Shanna down then puts some stank on it. Nyla scoops Shanna and aims at the corner, but Shanna slips out! Nyla ROCKS Shanna to the opposite corner, then wrenches to whip! Shanna stops herself with a slide, then drop toeholds! Nyla’s head hits table but it doesn’t break! So Shanna dumps the table down on her! Still no break so Shanna goes to a corner to rest. Nyla gets up from under the table, and Shanna basement dropkicks her hard against ropes! Fans fire up as Shanna gets going again, for another big basement dropkick!

Nyla flounders to a corner and Shanna is on her. Shanna puts Nyla up top but Nyla boots back. Shanna shakes it off and runs up to throw clubbing forearms! Shanna finishes the climb to SUPER STEINER! Fans are all fired up as Shanna brings the table back into play. Shanna stomps Nyla before setting the table up. The table is locked in and Shanna kicks Nyla while she’s down. Shanna stands the table up but that’s easier said than done. Shanna buzzsaw kicks Nyla back down so she can fix the table. The table is finally up! Fans cheer just for that and Shanna goes back to Nyla. Shanna manages to fireman’s carry but not for long. Nyla fireman’s carries much easier, but Shanna tips the table over quickly! Shanna dodges, boots and DDT’s Nyla into the table’s underside!

The table still doesn’t break, but it surely has to be coming close. Both women are down as fans rally up. Shanna gets up first and designs a new plan with the table. Shanna sets it flat then drags it out to set it back up nearby the apron. Fans cheer as Shanna goes back to Nyla to throw forearms but Nyla hits back. Nyla whips but Shanna dropkicks! Nyla tumbles out to the apron but keeps hold of the ropes. Shanna runs in but gets a knee! Shanna staggers back but comes around the way to forearm Nyla! Nyla hits buckles and now Shanna climbs from the adjacent corner. Shanna is up top, and LEAPS, into Nyla’s grip! CHOKE SLAM THROUGH THE TABLE! Nyla wins!!

Winner: Nyla Rose

A close call and a miscalculation were all it took for Nyla to take advantage of Shanna! But she’s not done, she wants to do even MORE damage! A new table is brought out as the referee reprimands Nyla. Nyla stalks Shanna in the ring and brings her up in a fireman’s carry. Fans are freaking out as Nyla climbs up top with Shanna! The bell rings more but here comes Sadie Gibbs! Gibbs throws forearms on Nyla and whips, but Nyla holds ropes. Gibbs clotheslines her out! Gibbs fires up and builds speed to SASUKE SPECIAL, but Nyla gets clear to CLOBBER her! Nyla drags Gibbs around to lift and BEAST BOMB through the table! No mortal woman can stop the Native Beast! Will it only be a matter of time before Nyla wrecks the Women’s Division and takes that title from Riho?

Kip Sabian w/ Penelope Ford VS QT Marshall!

Superbad won one on land, but can he win another by sea? Or will he have a bad time in the Bahamas?

The bell rings after everyone gets the timekeeper’s attention, and Sabian circles with QT. They tie up, Sabian wrenches to a hammerlock but QT slips out to get his own hammerlock. Sabian slips around to get the reversal and a headlock. QT powers out but Sabian dodges and ducks to then hurdle and slide, to shove and dropkick! Fans cheer as Sabian grins. Sabian kicks QT in the corner then whips him corner to corner. QT goes up and over to speed up, and he ducks under to handspring over Sabian, and fans cheer! Things keep going, handspring Pele takes Sabian down! QT has the fans fired up as he covers, TWO!

QT brings Sabian up, throws forearms then whips him corner to corner. Sabian reverses, runs in but gets a boot! QT hops up but Penelope distracts. Sabian runs in but QT boots him away. The ref is distracted by Sabian exaggerating, and Penelope hotshots QT off the top! Sabian feeds QT Sole Food and covers, TWO! Sabian and Penelope are annoyed with QT, and Sabian stomps QT around. Sabian wrenches and wrings QT out. Sabian mocks QT eating apples before he stomps QT’s arm over and over. Sabian wrenches the arm on the mat then drops knees on it. QT endures as Sabian is back on the armlock. Fans rally up and QT throws hands to get free, but Sabian code breakers the arm! Sabian stomps a Superbad mudhole but backs off at the ref’s count. Sabian apologizes, but Penelope pulls the bad arm into the ropes! Fans boo as Penelope gets away with that one, and Sabian covers. TWO, and Sabian is upset again.

Sabian argues with the ref before dragging QT up. Sabian suplexes and hangs QT on the ropes, draping neckbreaker! Cover, TWO! Sabian and Penelope grow further frustrated but they regroup on the outside. Sabian mocks fans to their faces, then Sabian springboards in. QT catches him! And pops him up for a suplex! Both men are down and fans rally up. Sabian stands but QT rallies with clotheslines. QT ducks Sabian’s counter to then tilt-o-whirl slam! Cover, TWO! QT keeps his cool and fans rally back up. QT drags Sabian up to a fireman’s carry, but Sabian slips out to shove. Sabian runs in but QT drops down and Sabian bounces off buckles! QT hurries up top as Sabian is in the drop zone, for a QT SWANTON, onto KNEES! CROSS-ARM BREAKER!

QT endures, reaches, but Penelope pulls the ropes back. QT still gets a foot on the rope for the ropebreak! Sabian lets up at the count of 4 but the damage has been done. Penelope tosses Sabian one of QT’s apples, and Sabian takes a big bite out it. Sabian thinks he’s cool, but QT punches him first, sending that apple spit flying all over the place! QT dumps Sabian in then slingshots for a sunset flip! But Sabian sits on it, with Penelope helping him stay on it! Sabian wins!

Winner: Kip Sabian, by pinfall

Another huge assist to the Bad Girl, and Superbad is on a hot streak! Will 2020 only get Superbadder? Or will the American Nightmare cool him off quick?

The Dark Order VS Sonny Kiss & Brandon Cutler!

In order to please their supreme leader, Evil Uno and Stu Grayson look to recruit more and more wrestlers that are down in the dumps and wallowing in woe. Will they defeat the Concrete Rose and Mr. Total Party Kill to then convert them? Or will Sonny shine and help Cutler with a saving throw?

The teams sort out and Grayson starts with Kiss, to run him over! And over! And powers Kiss to the Dark Order corner! Grayson throws haymakers as Evil Uno tags in. Uno whips Grayson in for a corner splash then Grayson feeds Kiss to Uno’s BOOT! Cover, TWO, and Uno argues with the ref. Uno stands on Kiss’s fingers and raises his hand to pledge allegiance to the Dark Order. Uno then punches Kiss down and drags him into a back suplex. Kiss lands on his feet and then goes Matrix to bridging PELE! Grayson tags in and grabs Kiss for a BIG urenage! Cover, TWO!! Kiss survives but Grayson eggs Sonny on. Get up and be one with the Dark Order! Grayson runs corner to corner but into a boot! Kiss slides under and dropsaults!

Kiss keeps moving to huricanrana! Fans fire up with Kiss as Kiss dodges Grayson to sweep the legs, and slingshots for a splits leg drop! Kiss heads for Cutler but Grayson whips him away. Kiss tumbles to the apron and kicks Grayson back! The Beaver Boys turned Creepers keep Kiss anchored on the apron, and Uno SPEARS Kiss down! Uno puts Kiss in, Grayson drags him up, and torture racks for a BACKBREAKER! The Nightfall puts Sonny down, but Uno tags in. They’re not through with Kiss, as they Gory Especial for the FATALITY!! Cover and Grayson keeps Cutler out, the Dark Order wins!

Winners: The Dark Order, Evil Uno by pinfall

Cutler couldn’t even get a move in! This was a Total Party Kill, but in favor of the Dark Order! Cutler shields Kiss from the Creepers, but will anyone stop the Dark Order’s influence?

My Thoughts:

Interesting that Dark episodes are staying short. I suppose there isn’t a lot of material they could put in that isn’t filler fans would skip over. After all, this is on YouTube and after the initial Premiering stream, you can skip ahead. But this was still good stuff that helps in story for many of these wrestlers. I am surprised the main event was the shortest match, but it does make the point of The Dark Order becoming much stronger as a unit. I suppose Cutler can’t be that one special purple Creeper since he was seen in the same place as one, but he could still end up being converted and added to the group.

Sabian VS QT was alright, clearly Sabian keeps winning to keep strong. His match with Cody on Wednesday should be good since Arn can be there to counter Penelope. But I loved the Tables match for Nyla and Shanna. A lot of unique teases of the table breaking to build up the final spot, and great to see Sadie Gibbs out of ROH and in AEW. She took that missed Sasuke Special and table spot very well, and I’m hoping we get more matches like the one from this episode for Nyla and Shanna and just about any other midcarder in the Women’s Division.
