NXT Minus 6: I’ll Make You Tapas

I’m breaking format this week to serve up a hot, tasty platter of small bites. It’s wrestling tapas.

• Remember when the Intercontinental Championship was known as the workrate belt? That’s what Roderick Strong did for the North American Championship. 
• As much as I love Keith Lee, I do love a good title chase even more. He should have won the belt at Takeover.
• Ilya Dragunov reminds me of Daniel Bryan. Slightly undersized with the ability to hit exponentially harder than physics can explain. Torpedo Moscow is shades of the Busaiku Knee. 
• UnBesiegbar!
• On any normal night, Dragunov versus Finn Balor is the easy pick for show stealer. Not this time…
• Mustache Mountain versus #DIY
• I hope they use this as a springboard for Tyler Bate versus Johnny Gargano.
• Tyler Bate. Tyler Tyler Bate. Na na na na. Na na na, Tyler Tyler Bate.
• Trent Seven is the cool older brother we all wish we had. 
• Shotzi Blackheart needs a ring intro shorter than her matches. I didn’t think she was ever going to stop jumping and screaming and boring me. 
• Who does Matt Riddle think he is? Rhonda Rousey? Ditch the braids, Dude.
• Full Sail Neckbeards. Zack Gibson strikes again! 
• Angel Garza versus Jordan Devlin versus Swerve Scott versus Travis Banks for the Crusierweight title??? Forget what I said about Mustache Mountain versus #DIY stealing the show.  
• Between Mia Yim, Toni Storm, Kay Lee Ray and Rhea Ripley, there are exactly zero combinations that I’m excited to see in a wrestling ring. Other than that…
• Hot damn this Worlds Collide card is loaded.
• I typically have low expectations for 8-man tag matches. Pointless ring stuffers. Not this time. Undisputed Era versus Imperium should be a MOTY contender.
