WWE 24/7 Championship Cajundome Confrontation: Mojo Rawley VS R-Truth!

Getting right to the action, Mojo knocks Truth down with big headbutts. Mojo stalks Truth but Truth throws big hands and kicks! Truth runs but into Mojo’s choke grip! Mojo puts Truth in the corner and bounces him off buckles over and over. Fans boo as Mojo soaks up the heat. Mojo brings Truth up to throw him out. Mojo goes out after Truth as the ring count climbs, and fans boo as Mojo knocks Truth down. Mojo bumps Truth off the apron then brings him into the ring. Mojo clubs Truth down but fans rally with “What’s Up?!” Mojo mocks the fans as he claps along but Truth throws hands! Mojo JABS Truth down, then gets up on the corner to applaud himself. Fans boo harder but Truth is up.

Mojo runs corner to corner for a clothesline! Mojo goes again for another, and then talks trash to Truth. Fans boo Mojo’s dance moves, and Mojo runs again, but Truth dodges! Mojo hits buckles and both men are down as fans rally up again. Truth and Mojo slowly rise, Truth dodges Mojo to hit a big shoulder tackle! And another! He’s shouting out hsi childhood hero, John Cena! Spin-out Powerbomb! Truth puts up the hand and fans fire up with the “You Can’t See Me!” Five Knuckle Shuffle! Fans fire up as the fist drop hits. Truth runs into a corner but Mojo boots him back. Mojo runs out, but into the fireman’s carry! ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT! Cover, Truth wins!!

He did it! Truth made his hero proud by winning the title back using Cena’s moves! Fans celebrate with Truth, but as is the way with this title, Mojo simply rolls Truth up on the way out and wins it back!

Well the 31st reign was fun while it lasted! Will Mojo keep his own new reign lasting longer than the last? Or will Truth rise up and be back again?

My Thoughts:

You’ll notice I didn’t see this the week it happened. The WWE doesn’t publicize this title like they were at the start. But if it gives fans something to cheer for at the house shows, that’s fine. I also hope everyone likes the new thumbnail as part of the New Year.
