Hyrule Puro-Resu has notified the 33 entrants of the Hyrule Warriors match! And though it’s all meant to be top secret, some couldn’t help but share…

The Artist excitedly opens his mailbox and takes out an envelope. He goes inside, sits down and opens the envelope. He takes out a piece of paper, shows it has the official HPW seal on it, and then keeps the rest out of sight as he reads the text. And slowly, a very big and devious smile spreads across his face. “Oh how glorious~! What a beautiful number, indeed! With this, my victory is practically guaranteed~! Oh, that rhymed! I’m a poet and I didn’t even realize!” Yuga can practically taste the Triforce Championship! Now, where should he frame this form? Does Yuga really have the odds in his favor?

The Dark Forces receive their notifications!

Though Cia has been in a bad mood since losing the HPW Goddess Championship to the newer, taller Midna, this helps her cheer up. At least, until she sees there’s only TWO envelopes! “Only two?! Are you sure!?” Gibdo nods as he holds up the two. Cia protests! “This isn’t fair! All four of us are impressive wrestlers! All four of us should be in this match!” Wait, which two are they for? She snatches the envelopes from Gibdo and tears them open. The first one is for… Volga! And the other is for… Cia! Cia is a little relieved that she’s at least in the match, but she’s still very upset that Gibdo and ReDead are being left out. Though, is she upset that they’re being snubbed? Or that they won’t be able to help her? Will she and Volga have a chance as just two of 33?

Fin Balure simply posts an image and a message.

The picture is of himself holding up the envelope from HPW with an aggressive and determined look on his face. The message reads, “Damn right I’m in this match! And it doesn’t really matter what number I was given, because I am going to win this match! The Prince will become THE Hyrule Warrior that then takes that title from whoever has it! Come October 31st, HPW gets rrrrrreeeeeal!” Will the Zora Rock ‘n’ Rolla really win no matter where he enters?

My Thoughts:

To reinforce that unlike the WWE where wrestlers announce their entering the Rumble, I wrote this up that HPW management determines things much more closely. I obviously wasn’t going to give away the entire list of 33 I’ve created, but I felt it’d be good story to give just a few glimpses of who is definitely going to be part of the match for much of the same reasons WWE superstars “declare” for the Rumble. And it just made sense for Yuga and Balure to brag while Cia would find something to complain about.
