Mitchell’s Hyrule Puro-Resu News! (10/4/20)
HPW holds a special meeting at headquarters!
Hyrule Puro-Resu invites very special guests to Hylia Tower!
HPW wants to settle the score between Ghirahim and Igos du Ikana, so they invite both men to Hylia Tower! What decision, if any, will be reached?
Igos du Ikana, and the Ikana Royal Family, are greeted at the door.
They’re welcomed to Hylia Tower and shown the way to an elevator. Cameras cut to when they arrive on an upper floor of the building, and the attendant leads them to the conference room. Ghirahim is already waiting with King Nicolas Foolyere. Ghirahim says, “You kept me waiting. I don’t have all day to do this.” King Nicolas says Ghirahim only just got here himself. Ghirahim says Igos still should’ve been here sooner. Igos sits at the table, with his followers standing nearby, and the meeting begins.
King Nicolas thanks both Ghirahim and Igos for coming. He doesn’t need to remind them that there has been a lot of controversy in their title matches for just the two. Then why is he reminding them? Ghirahim is only getting more annoyed, even as he leans back in the armchair. The reason is because HPW Management has been trying to put together a match that can settle the issues between the two of them. Not only the issue of who should be champion, but what the championship should even be! Ghirahim renamed the Death Mountain Championship to “The Exquisite Championship,” but then Igos brings the TCW Championship, wanting that to replace Ghirahim’s belt. This has to stop! Ghirahim and Igos both agree, but then they don’t like that they’re agreeing with each other.
Igos says that maybe if Ghirahim didn’t blatantly violate the rules and get himself disqualified, this wouldn’t be happening. Ghirahim says it’s called Champion’s Advantage, so of course he was going to take advantage of it. King Nicolas says that they both make good points. Champion’s Advantage is often abused in the world of pro-wrestling, so therefore, the rematch should be without Champion’s Advantage. Ghirahim doesn’t like that at all! He is the one with everything to lose! If this is the match they have, Igos needs to lose something in return. Igos is fine with that. If Ghirahim wins, Igos will, as Ghirahim put it, “let TCW rest in peace.” Igos will abandon his plans to bring the TCW Championship into HPW.
Then it’s decided! A No Champion’s Advantage match between Ghirahim Mazokucho and Igos du Ikana will decide the fate of the HPW Men’s Division Championship! King Nicolas will have a contract drafted and copies sent to each of them to sign, and this match can be added to the Clash of Fates event! Wait, that soon?! Of course! It’s perfect! It’s called “Clash of Fates,” so what better time and place for this kind of match? See you in a few weeks! Ghirahim is seething again, but Igos says Ghirahim only has himself to blame. Will that also be the case when Ghirahim loses the right to be the HPW Exquisite Champion?
My Thoughts:
I must be crazy to be adding to my own workload! But hey, it’s just as King Nicolas said! Clash of Fates is the perfect place to determine the future of a midcard title! Ghirahim VS Igos Round 3 is on its way!
