Review

Decay vs The Good Brothers

Decay shows a good amount of offense with Crazzy Steve and Karl Anderson starting off the match but when Big LG comes in, he takes the control back early. Decay start mounting some off offense against the former champions but it was all for nothing, after their magic gets killed.

(The Good Brothers cut a promo against FinJuice after the match is over.)

Tenille Dashwood vs Susan

Tenille goes to kind of taunt Susan early on, making sure she can stay ahead of her with wrestling moves and holds. Even though Susan gets some major offense in before the commercial break, she can’t get away of Kaleb……… with a K and his camera to record Tenille and like a typical “Susan”, she hates it and loses focus and ultimately the match.

Brian Myers addresses his match against Matt Cardona and finally removes the eyepatch and says he finally sees clearly that Cardona is just another Roster Cut.

After a commercial break, Sami Callihan goes to cut a promo against Trey Miguel for their match at Rebellion and vows to make an example out of Trey since Trey denied to take Sami’s offer to fight by Sami’s side.

Shera vs Jake Something

The two big boys make sure that this match is a slug fest, heavy hits, heavy slams, there is no quit in either of them. Shera gets the early advantage with heavy slam but after a good amount of time, Jake gets a heavy amount of offense and looks to take the win until Rohit distracts the referee after a Michinoku Driver. After too much time taken with the distraction, Shera grabs Jake and hits a Sky High Spinebuster and wins it.

We keep with the Sami and Trey promos as Trey gets upset with his wrestling school trainer and starts training harder to beat The Draw and get in the zone for his Rebellion matchup.

Rich Swann comes out with the IMPACT World Championships to address the press conference last week and calls out Kenny Omega until Callis and Omega show up on the big screen and say they aren’t there. Kenny and Callis keep saying they are going to keep thing interesting for IMPACT and make signings and showings everywhere. Just as the promo ends, we hear some familiar music. The former TNA World Heavyweight Champion, Moose. Moose has a microphone and says he’s not hear to fight Rich, instead to congratulate and give him his props for beating him. Moose tries to psyche Rich up and says he’s already beat a Wrestling God so he can beat Kenny and even helps him out a little until he walks off. Not before saying, “Don’t lose those championships or you will pay by my hand.” To which Rich Swann says, “I plan on winning and even then, he can beat Moose again.”

Kiera Hogan vs Jordynne Grace

Jordynne brings the fire early on the match against Kiera, bringing the early strong strikes to the tag champ and can’t get any upper hand so instead of a clean finish, Tasha comes in and attacks Jordynne for an easy disqualification.

(Aftermath: As Fire n Flava start to beat down Jordynne Grace in the ring, we get the mystery partner of Jordynne’s for Rebellion and what better way than to have some royalty help out with Rachael Ellering making her IMPACT debut and takes it to the Champs.)

Eric Young vs Eddie Edwards

Both men are equal in their attempts of an upper hand but, neither of them can get it. After a good amount of attempts, Eddie comes up with the initial advantage with headlock takedowns and even knee strikes with a front face lock as EY tries to get back to a vertical stance. EY gets an advantage with a break in the ropes and tries to take Eddie out to the ring, getting caught in the ropes and wrenching on the caught leg of Eddie Edwards to swing the momentum.  As neither men can get complete control, even when EY gets meticulous and methodical with his attack, Eddie gets a quick burst offense to get something going. Eddie gets a new burst of adrenaline and gives a Blue Thunder Bomb to get something going but EY gets his burst after that with a Death Valley Driver.  Eddie takes EY outside of the ring and hits a shot of caffeine and a fight breaks out after the move and EY sneaks in the win with a Small Package.

(Aftermath: All eight men fight around the IMPACT Zone after the bell and take it all the way to the end of the show.)

Final Thoughts

Well, they hyped up the other matches that I liked. I’m glad Myers got rid of that eyepatch, the X Division Triple Threat was shown on display for the Before The Impact (their little preshow) and Petey won for Josh Alexander against Fulton and Fallah Bahh. Everything got built up and I will say this about the main event…

I am now SLIGHTLY interested because Moose came back to talk. Moose came back to give Rich a little bit of confidence and fight going into the match and I want to see if now that Moose returned in a way, if that will play a part of the match. I still have a bit of a chip on my shoulder about it but, we shall see coming this Sunday how it goes. They left an “Impact” on me today, lets see if they can on Sunday.
