HPW prepares another match for May!

Hyrule Pro-Wrestling makes Lost in the Woods even bigger! The HPW Goddess Champion will know her challenger after a FATAL 4 WAY!!

Zelda sits in on the announcement by HPW Management!

Humpback Hook Halibut introduces himself and Zelda as he welcomes us to the broadcast. And he explains that “as HPW Goddess Champion, Zelda has every right to hear this news in person. Especially when they will all be opponents Zelda has history with.” The entrants in the #1 contender’s match will be: Midna of Twilight; Dark Sorceress Cia; Nabooru of the Gerudo; and Zelda’s first opponent ever in HPW, back from her concert tour around Southeast Hyrule, the Deku Princess, Oaky Treetoh!

Zelda frowns at that last name. “Oaky Treetoh? Really? She goes off to sing for over a year, and she’s suddenly in the hunt?” Hook explains that before leaving on her tour, Treetoh still had a decent win-loss record, and other potential contenders, such as the members of the Desert Flowers, are already active in the Trios Gauntlet Match. Then why not keep it to a Triple Threat? Because a Fatal 4 Way is more exciting, and Treetoh deserves a chance to get back into the ring. Zelda sighs but accepts that the decision. “She might not even win anyway.” Will the Deku Princess prove the Princess of Hyrule wrong? Or will another familiar foe rise up in the Lost Woods?

My Thoughts:

Yes, that’s a Maki Itoh reference. And a Fatal 4 Way is definitely the fastest way to get her into the story and have a really big match. Maybe she’ll win, maybe she won’t, but it’ll be a lot of fun in having a match referencing Zelda’s past, including a part that was never written.

This week on Bandwagon Nerds, the full Bandwagon returns to break down the explosive season finale of Invincible. Story lines all converge, and things take an unexpected turn as Mark Grayson is faced with an impossible choice to make. Speaking of impossible choices, the Nerds continue their review of Daredevil: Born Again, Season 2. This week’s episode was all about Matt’s choices and the ramifications of his decisions on those he cares about most. Last, but certainly not least, the guys review the latest episode of The Boys’ final season. The search for V1 continues, and why are our heroes trying to suddenly kill each other? All that, plus we review trailers for Clayface, Spider-Man: Noir, and Coyote v. Acme. It’s a big week here at the Bandwagon, and we hope you tune in!
