205 Live welcomes some brand new Cruiserweights!

They may be new but they’re not rookies! Ari Sterling takes on Samir Singh while August Grey reunites with an old friend against the 205 Live OG!

The newest recruit to the Cruiserweight Division is so ready, he has purple ‘n’ orange in his hair! But will Ari be ready for the 205 Live life? Or will the Bollywood Boyz put a damper on his debut?

The bell rings and fans are already on Ari’s side as he circles with Samir. They approach, shake hands to show there is sportsmanship here, and then they tie up. Samir waistlocks, Ari headlocks but Samir trips him up to get a headlock. Ari rolls to a cover, ONE, but fans rally as Ari gets up. Ari wrenches to a headlock, Samir powers out but Ari runs him over! Fans fire up as things speed up, Ari handsprings then hurdles to arm-drag! Samir goes to a corner, Ari runs in but is put on the apron. Ari slingshots in to headscissor Samir! Samir staggers into a dropkick! Samir bails out, Sunil checks on him, and fans fire up as Ari takes aim. SLINGSHOT MOONSAULT!

Ari hits Samir down with his #MoonSauce but then Sunil talks some smack. Samir is in the ropes, Ari KICKS him in! Ari slingshots to sunset flip, TWO! Samir gets up but Ari is on him again with a cravat. Samir endures, rolls Ari off, then kicks low! Samir runs, things speed up again, but Samir fakes Ari’s dropkick out! Samir gets the legs to catapult Ari up and out! Ari hits the floor, Sunil coaches Samir up, and Samir goes out to fetch Ari. Samir gets Ari up, RAMS him into the apron, then puts him into the ring. Samir drags Ari around to rain down furious fists! Samir lets off and fans boo, but Ari sits up slowly. Samir gets the legs again, works to turn Ari and has a BOSTON CRAB!

Ari endures as Samir sits deep, and Sunil taunts Ari. Ari reaches around, Samir has a Half Crab, and Ari gets a ROPEBREAK! The ref counts, Samir lets Ari go, and Samir gets both legs again. Samir YANKS Ari up but Ari lands on his feet to PELE! Ari hops up but Samir blocks the Rana to a LION TAMER! Ari endures, Samir stumbles but Ari is a tall Cruiserweight! Ari kicks, but Samir throws him sideways! Samir has the legs again, Ari kangaroo kicks Samir down! Fans rally up for Ari as he rises. Samir staggers over but Ari rallies with clotheslines! Ari kicks low, runs, and SOMERSAULT AX KICKS!

Ari smiles and fans fire up as he scoops, but Samir slips out to roll Ari up! TWO, but Samir kicks Ari to ropes. Samir uses the corner, but Ari denies the tornado DDT! Ari gets Samir up for a ROLLING SIDEWALK SLAM!?! Cover, Ari wins!

Ari serves up a “Baja Blast” and it was just too spicy for Samir! Is this the beginning of The Sauce taking over 205 Live and the Cruiserweight Division?

August Grey & Ikemen Jiro VS Ariya Daivari & Tony Nese!

Before being in the WWE, #RetroAG met “THE Handsome Man” in Japan and have been friends ever since. Now Grey gets to welcome Jiro to the US and to the WWE! But the 205 Live OG don’t take kindly to new wave Cruiserweights. Will the #PremierDinero look to rain on the parade of the newest star in the brand?

Grey walks out with a mic and says since the moment he debuted on 205, the OG had a problem? Why? Because he was the new kid who liked to have fun? Well, he’s not the only new kid here for a good time! So here’s his tag partner, IKEKEN JIROOO~! Jiro’s even more bright and colorful than Grey! The teams sort out, Nese starts and though Grey takes his jacket off, Jiro insists on keeping his on. Jiro shows off how well he can move in the jacket, but Nese powers him to a corner! The ref counts, Nese gets in Jiro’s face with the flex, but fans chant, “You Suck! You Suck!” Jiro likes that, and he circles with Nese. Nese headlocks, Jiro powers out but Nese runs him over!

Jiro kips up, and the jacket stays on! Nese knees low and throws Jiro down again, but Jiro kips right back up! Jiro strikes a pose, then suckers Nese in for a JACKET PUNCH! Nese staggers, Jiro headlocks, Grey tags in. Grey wrenches Nese to a wristlock, but Nese powers Grey to the OG corner! Daivari tags in and the OG mug Grey! Daivari drags Grey up, throws him through ropes, and then fires off haymakers! The ref reprimands, Daivari lets off and Grey flops down. Daivari paces, Jiro coaches Grey up, but Daivari CHOPS Grey. Daivari whips, Grey ducks and dodges to RANA! Grey LARIATS, whips, but Daivari reverses to CLOBBER Grey!

Grey still reaches but Daivari covers, ONE! Daivari drags Grey away, scoops him, but Grey slips out! Hot tag to Jiro! Jiro rallies on Daivari with forearms, whips him corner to corner, but Daivari reverses. Jiro goes up and headstands on the corner! Daivari runs in, Jiro goes up and over, JACKET PUNCH! Nese runs in, Jiro dodges to BULLDOG! Jiro shows off the jacket but Daivari CLOBBERS him! Daivari tags Nese in, Nese stomps Jiro down then throws hands. Nese stomps Jiro to a corner, then brings him over to bump off buckles. Nese fires off kicks, Daivari tags in, the OG mug Jiro again! The fans boo, Daivari pie faces but Jiro fires off on both OG!

Daivari throws hands, CHOPS then snapmares Jiro down. Daivari drops elbows, covers, TWO! Jiro reaches for Grey but Daivari whips him the other way. Daivari wraps on a sleeper, Jiro starts to fade! Fans rally, Grey coaches Jiro, and Jiro gets a second wind! Jiro fights up for a JAWBREAKER! Nese tags in to leap over him and SHORYUKEN Grey! Basement dropkick to Jiro, cover, TWO! Nese throws hands on Jiro to keep him down! Nese whips Jiro to ropes and catches him to a sleeper, but Jiro hits a BIG back suplex! The fans fire up as Jiro crawls, as does Nese, hot tags to Daivari and Grey! Grey rallies on Daivari with fists, but Daivari reverses the whip, only for Grey to LARIAT!

Grey gets Daivari up for a NECKBREAKER! Grey DECKS Nese, dodges Daivari and BACK DROPS him! Daivari writhes, Grey fires up, and Grey runs to STRADDLE ATTACK! Grey ROCKS Daivari, SUPERKICKS Nese, then goes up top! Tightrope CROSSBODY! Cover, TWO! Daivari narrowly escapes but Grey looks for Jiro. Jiro isn’t there, Daivari throat chops Grey! Daivari suplexes but Grey counters to ANARCHY! Cover, TWO!! Daivari survives but Grey keeps his cool. Grey drags Daivari up, chicken wings and turns Daivari but Daivari shoves him! Nese anchors Grey’s feet for Daivari to dropkick! Nese tags in, PREMIER TRIANGLE! Cover, TWO!!

Grey survives and the OG are furious! Daivari tags back in, he and Nese double suplex but Jiro makes the save! JACKET PUNCH! Daivari DECKS Jiro, Grey DECKS Daivari! Grey kicks Nese, Daivari SUPERKICKS Grey! Jiro fires off palm strikes on Nese! Nese staggers, Daivari kitchen sink knees Jiro! Nese spinning back KICKS Jiro out! Daivari tags Nese back in, they feed Grey to a gut wrench and Canadian rack! DOMINATOR CUTTER COMBO!! Cover, Jiro makes another save!! Fans fire up as Grey and Nese are down! Grey crawls, flounders, and hot tags Jiro in! The Handsome One rallies on the Premier Athlete, WHEEL KICK! JACKET PUNCH AFTER JACKET PUNCH!!

Jiro whips, but Nese reverses! Jiro goes up and out and enziguris! Slingshot SPIKE headscissors! Daivari runs in, Jiro sends him out, and he IKEMEN MOONSAULTS them both! Fans are fired up as Jiro puts Nese back in. Jiro goes up top, HANDSOME SWANTON!! Cover, but Daivari drags Nese outside! Grey DIVES to take Daivari out! Nese DECKS Grey, Jiro FLIES to take Nese out! Jiro puts Nese back in, powers up, IKEMENGIRI!! Cover, Jiro and Grey win!!

A huge win, and a handsome one at that! With this good of a debut, will it only be a matter of time before 205 Live becomes the most handsome brand in the WWE?

My Thoughts:

This was a very good 205 Live! Another case where it started to feel like the prime of this brand, especially with some new faces showing up to finally give us some more people to see! Ari Sterling (FKA Alex Zayne) had a great debut with Samir Singh, his tights were very Slade “Deathstroke” Wilson from DC Comics. He used one of his signatures as a finisher but honestly, “Baja Blast” the rolling sidewalk slam should of course be a finisher. The tag match with Grey getting to bring in Jiro was awesome stuff. Jiro is a great personality with this ikemen gimmick of wearing the jacket. There has to be a case where removing his jacket sets him off, there just has to. Jiro and Grey can really make something of their friendship and tag team, they’re a lot of fun.
