NXT Minus 6: Peacock Sucks!

Bradley Jay doesn’t like Peacock, and he’s not afraid to tell you why in this week’s edition of the WWE NXT Minus 6!

Peacock is 10 pounds of suck in a 5 pound bag.

6. Frankie Monet better be the greatest wrestler since sliced bread. If she isn’t, they have wasted a lot of my time cramming her into every promo. I hope she wrestles better than she talks, because if it wasn’t for the dog I would be entirely disinterested.  

5. Dear Ever-Rise, I apologize in advance for not purchasing one of your coffee mugs. It isn’t because you don’t rule, because you do. It is my life mission to give as little money as possible to WWE. Please take solace in the fact that I am working diligently to inform everyone of your rule-ness. And shame on McKenzie for not asking you questions. 

4. Toni Storm said “Every time I slap the rookie” she’ll pretend it’s Zoey Stark. I was actually interested in a Toni Storm match. I wanted to see a pissed off vet delivering an epic slap-down to a hapless rookie. Number of slaps thrown? ZERO! Hey Toni, if you’re going to plant the seed, grow the damn tree!!!   

3. I am 100% not making this up. When Zayda Ramier attempted the Shooting Star Press, in mid flight I saw her morph into Brock Lesnar. Wade Barrett said he was “terrified.” We all were. Zayda, for the sake of your own health & career, find a new finisher. And there’s no pic of the Shooting Star because Peacock won’t let me take a screenshot from my phone. It’s one more reason Peacock sucks ass. It is 10 pounds of suck in a 5 pound bag. 

2. Bronson Reed versus Austin Theory was a fantastic Thursday night match, one more reason Peacock sucks ass. 4 stars. They are so good together. I love watching Reed flatten fools. Theory clearly went to the Rock School of Overselling. The match was great. That is why whoever overbooked that crap ending deserves a kick in the beanbag and 6 Tsunamis. Speaking of…

1. This week’s That’s Why I Love Wrestling goes to…Wade Barrett! I give Barrett a lot of crap. Is he a face? A heel? A color guy? Play by play? Who the hell knows. But when Bronson Reed takes flight and Barrett screams Soooooo-NAMI, it makes a great move that much better. Wade, when you get it right, you really get it right.
