HPW stars are preparing for Treasure Island 2

Hyrule Pro-Wrestling is heading back to Eventide, and so are a few of their top stars. Video has surfaced of Ghirahim talking with Midna about the return!

Ghirahim parks his car at the harbor.

It’s just after sundown as he looks out at the water. Another car approaches and Ghiraim gets out. The car parks and Midna gets out. Midna asks why Ghirahim wanted to meet her here. They’re both going to be in the Eventide Challenge match in just under three weeks, is this him trying to build an alliance? No, though he did consider the idea. Ghirahim says he just needed someone to talk to. He’s been thinking about last year’s “Treasure Island” event. They were both champions back then, weren’t they? And they both retained those titles, didn’t they? It wasn’t a dream, was it? Because it feels like that now.

Ghirahim’s Exquisite title was taken away, it no longer exists. He’s been traveling a lot. What? Yeah, that golden pass that HPW gave them, Ghirahim’s being using it. Every other week, he flies from Eldin to Akkala, or Hebra, or Faron. And then he gets off (the plane), has a drink, and returns home. Why? Because he’s trying to find the magic again! The magic that made him a champion! He lost it, he doesn’t understand why it’s gone! But he thinks it’s back on Eventide! “Every little bump we hit, or turbulence, I mean, I… I actually close my eyes, and I pray that I can get it back.” Ghirahim’s emotional but Midna shakes her head.

There’s no magic to it. He’s just been losing, as has she. No, she’s lying! Their magic is on Eventide! He then grabs her by the shoulders and shouts, “We weren’t supposed to leave!” Yes, they were! She breaks away and says good-bye as she gets back in her car. Ghirahim shouts as she drives away, “We’re going to get it back, Midna! We’re going to get it back!” A big wave crashes against the rocks, but will this supposed magic ebb or flow at Treasure Island 2?

My Thoughts:

I wasn’t even that big of a Lost fan, but finding a way to reference it was too much to pass up. It was a bit of a labored way of twisting the dialogue from the episode of the same title as in my little blurb, but it does work out somehow. Ghirahim and Midna won to retain titles on Treasure Island 1 but lost them before getting to HyruleMania. There could be a chance something changes for one or both of them with Treasure Island 2.
