MY THOUGHTS

Two hours, 17 matches. Two hours, 17 matches. That is why I am getting to it so late. As exciting as it all is, I can’t keep up. Not an excuse, just an explanation. AEW keeps making Elevation and Dark fluctuate so much, it’s hard for me to be consistent about it. It’s why I’ve cut out doing PBP for it. Of course, I am someone who is just crazy enough and just that into pro-wrestling where I am watching everything WWE and everything AEW has, and then NJPW when there are big things happening. I’m not saying I’m cutting out Dark and Elevation, but I’m not not saying that. Yet.

Just looking at everything on paper, it was easy to call each and every one of these 17 matches. Not so much a bad thing, because you can still “know” what will happen and enjoy how things get there. But I’m really hoping with Rampage starting this Friday, there is some pressure taken off of Elevation and Dark Classic so they don’t end up with longer actual runtimes than the televised product.
