The Bastard has been wanting after the self-appointed Face of Latinos for weeks now, and he’s not waiting any longer! Will Pac humble The Idol to start off Rampage? Or will he be made to tranquilo by El Ingobernable Original?
The bell rings and Pac eggs Andrade on. Andrade takes it easy as he approaches Pac and then smirks at Pac’s trash talk. Fans rally up as the two stare down still, but then Andrade shoves Pac away. Pac shoves back and the forearms start flying! They go back and fort, Andrade gets the edge with boxing elbows and a knee down low! Andrade fires up but Cincinnati boos. Andrade headlocks, Pac pulls hair to power out but Andrade runs him over with a shoulder. Only for Pac to kip up! Andrade and Pac snarl, Andrade kicks low and headlocks again but Pac powers out. Pac drops down but Andrade basement dropkicks! Andrade then poses before he stomps Pac to a corner.
Andrade CHOPS Pac, KNEES him in the corner, then BOOTS him down! Andrade wrenches, hits an elbow breaker, then has Pac in a corner for more elbows and elbow breakers! The ref counts, Andrade lets off and fans rally. Andrade whips Pac to ropes, Pac kicks back then runs. Andrade is ready but Pac wheelbarrows to an arm-drag! Pac dodges, runs and RANAS Andrade out of the ring! Fans fire up as Pac builds speed to FLY! Direct hit off that Fosbury Flop and Cincy is fired up again! Pac scares Chavo off, goes back to Andrade and pulls hair. Pac whips but Andrade blocks so Pac knees low. Pac then RAMS Andrade into railing!
Andrade hobbles, Pac refreshes the count and then goes after Andrade. Andrade kicks low then whips him hard into railing! Andrade apologizes to the kids up front but Pac brings Andrade to the ring. Pac whips Andrade to a corner, CHOPS him, but Andrade eggs him on! So Pac CHOPS harder! Snapmare, cover, ONE! Chavo is upset as Pac has Andrade down with a chinlock. Andrade fights up, fans rally up but Pac puts Andrade on ropes. The ref counts, Pac lets off but gets a cheap shot in! Pac runs but into a BOOT! Andrade catches his breath, grins and slingshots to APRON DDT Pac down! Pac flops to the mat and Andrade smiles and shrugs.
Andrade leaves Pac to the mercy of the ring count but sees him getting up. Andrade goes side to side to TRIANGLE TORNILLO! Andrade puts Pac in and covers, TWO!! Pac survives but Andrade is all smiles. “This is Awesome!” and is just getting going as Andrade slowly stands. Pac goes to a corner, gets out to the apron but Andrade drags him back up. Andrade throws forearms, climbs up the corner and brings Pac up to join him. Fans rally as Pac fights back and the two brawl up top. Andrade pushes Pac back into a Tree of Woe on the outside! Andrade sits Pac up to CLUB him back down, then he climbs up, for WOE STOMPS!!
Both men are down on the floor, but fans are thunderous as AEW goes to break!
AEW returns and Andrade has Pac in a corner. Andrade fires himself up and runs in, but he blocks boots to put Pac in the ropes. Andrade has a dragon sleeper for a draping backbreaker to draping ELBOW DROP DDT! Pac is in the drop zone, Andrade goes up for a falling ARABIAN PRESS! Cover, TWO!! Andrade can’t believe how close he was there with that one, but fans hope they “Fight Forever!” This only has 30 minutes, though, so it has to end somehow. Andrade puts Pac up top, climbs up after him again, then throws more forearms. Andrade turns around to hoist Pac up for an Electric Chair, But Pac turns that to a SUPER STEINER!!
Fans are thunderous and Pac grits his teeth as he stands up! Andrade writhes, slowly gets to his feet in the other corner, and Pac runs in to BOOT! Pac runs but Andrade follows to clothesline! Andrade runs, Pac takes aim but Andrade blocks the superkick! Andrade throws the foot down but Pac comes back with another SUPERKICK! Andrade flops against ropes and fans are fired up again! Chavo coaches Andrade as a standing count begins. Pac slowly gets up first at 4 of 10 and he sees Andrade going to the apron. Pac stands, hobbles over, brings Andrade up, but Andrade ROCKS him with a forearm! Pac fires back and they brawl at the ropes!
Pac gets the edge, ROCKS Andrade then lines up a shot. Pac slingshots to SUNSET- NO! Andrade flips through the bomb! But Pac SUPERKICKS again! Andrade is dazed, Pac goes up the corner! But Andrade trips him up! Pac is back in the Tree of Woe and Andrade hurries to repeat from earlier! But Pac leans back to avoid the stomps! Pac sits up and adjusts, ARIHARA MOONSAULT!! Both men are down and Cincy is thunderous! The ref checks, Pac is somehow alright after that leap and bumping into railings. Pac gets up, Andrade follows and fans rally up. Pac puts Andrade in, climbs up the corner again, 450 SPLASH! Cover, ROPEBREAK!!
Chavo is relieved, as is executive assistant Jose, but Pac sets Andrade back into a drop zone. Pac goes to the corner again, climbs a third time, but Andrade gets up! Pac leaps over him, Andrade handsprings to PELE! Andrade gets Pac for a hammerlock but no DDT as Pac RAMS him into buckles! Andrade comes back but into a rebound SNAP GERMAN! Andrade is right up again but runs into an OVERHEAD Belly2Belly into buckles! Cincy is electric as Pac runs in, but Andrade puts him out. Pac slingshots into a fireman’s carry, but turns that into a CRUCIFIX DRIVER! TWO, into the BRUTALIZER!! Jose gets on the apron with a literal stun gun!?
But the Lucha Brothers run out and trip Jose up! They DOUBLE SUPERKICK Jose, but Chavo gets in to CLOBBER Pac with a tablet!! Andrade covers, Andrade wins!!
Winner: Andrade El Idolo, by pinfall
He may not be Latino Heat, but Andrade knew how to lie, cheat and steal this one! Perhaps that is thanks to having a Guerrero on his side. Will Andrade continue to climb the ranks with this kind of back-up? Wait, Andrade then DECKS Chavo?! Andrade doesn’t want that kind of help, and he leaves Chavo to the wolves! DOUBLE SUPERKICKS from the Lucha Brothers! Fenix makes sure Andrade leaves, and Penta feeds Chavo to Pac! BRUTALIZER!! The referee tries to make Pac stop but he refuses! The rest of the refs rush out but Death Triangle won’t let them stop Pac! Chavo shouts in pain and Pac is finally satisfied! But will there not be true satisfaction until Andrade suffers the same fate?
Darby Allin and Sting are here!
The Relentless One may not have defeated CM Punk at All Out, but he and The Icon didn’t have to wait long before their next opponents showed themselves. Tully Blanchard called this dynamic duo out on behalf of the Pinnacle, and so Tony Schiavone is going to interview them in the ring so they could respond. Darby tells Tully, “You wanna say Sting’s riding my coattails? Shawn Spears, listen to me, you generic piece of s*it. Without Tully, you are absolutely nothing!” And as for the Stinger, he lets out a howl and fans join in. “That was just for you, Cincinnati. It’s good to be back!”
Sting also tells Tully, “Riding on the coattails of other people’s success? Didn’t you ride on the coattails of Slick Ric for many many years?” And even Arn Anderson’s coattails! If Tully wants to go mano y mano, then let’s do it here in Cincy! C’mon, Tully! Tully walks out and smirks at Sting. “Look at you two. Two on one, that’s what you want.” Sting’s always liked the numbers game. And if we’re talking coattails and the past, well Spears sneaks up to drag Darby out and hit a C4!! Sting sees what happened and goes after Spears while Tully’s still talking trash! “Just like we planned it!” Now look at him, Sting! Will Sting & Darby be able to game plan and counter plan against one of the Four Horsemen?
AEW hears from their two newest stars: Adam Cole and Bryan Danielson.
“The Elite as a group, as a faction, or as I like to call it, as a brotherhood, is incredibly special. The Elite was designed as a bunch of very individual talented wrestlers coming together to show how powerful we really are.” Cole trusts Kenny Omega with his life and so does Omega. Cole trusts the Young Bucks with his life, and so do the Bucks. Christian Cage, Bryan Danielson, those guys are special and there’s a reason people look at them so highly and with so much respect. “It’s because their body of work is undeniable.” But the difference is, they can’t keep up with guys like Cole. Cole isn’t even in his prime yet, and he will wipe the floor with them.
Bryan Danielson says, “The way The Elite acts and dresses, sound to me like people who are insecure.” Bryan isn’t exactly going after all of them, just one member. Bryan’s heard how great Omega is, and seen how great Omega is. Bryan is mostly just excited to get in the ring and wrestler Kenny Omega. But the reality is, if Omega doesn’t want to step up, then someone else will be Bryan’s first opponent. What Bryan loves about AEW is that everyone is hungry here. Everyone wants to go in and prove themselves. Bryan is here, he’s game, who’s ready to go?
Six Woman Tag: Britt Baker, Rebel & Jamie Hayter VS Ruby Soho, Riho & Kris Statlander!
The Doctor defeated the Galaxy’s Greatest Alien and considers that part of her reign done, but now she’s head for #DestinationUnknown with the Runaway! And to even the odds, Statlander is sticking around and the inaugural AEW Women’s World Champion is willing to help out! Will Britt and her little buddies be in for a bad time?
The trios sort out and Riho starts with Britt. Britt doesn’t take the tiny former champ seriously as they tie up, and Britt wrenches to hammerlock, spin and snapmare to a ghost pin, TWO! Britt flips Riho to a lateral press but Riho bridges out! Riho runs and basement dropkicks! Fans cheer but Britt plays like she’s hurt given her formerly broken nose. Riho hesitates to hit Britt so Britt hits her back! Riho ends up in her corner and Statlander tags in! Fans cheer for the unofficial All Out rematch as Statlander waistlocks. Britt wrenches out and drags Statlander down but she rolls through to whip and POWERSLAM! Cover, TWO!
Statlander drags Britt up, fireman’s carries but Britt pulls hair! Britt shoves Statlander away, tags out to Rebel, but Riho tags in. Statlander dropkicks Rebel down, then gives Riho a boost through a Gory Especial of sorts. Statlander turns around for Riho to fire off kick after kick on Rebel! Rebel scurries away to tag Hayter, but Hayter runs into a drop toehold! Hayter ends up on ropes, Riho runs and dials it up, 619! Cover, TWO! Hayter checks her chin, maybe Britt will have to do dental work. Riho ROCKS Hayter with forearm after forearm, then runs, but into Rebel’s cheap shot! The ref was busy arguing with Britt about something to see it!
Riho crawls, Hayter CLUBS and then snap suplexes! Hayter digs her boot into Riho’s chest, then lets off to get her up. The ref reprimands about hair pulling so Hayter bumps Riho off buckles. Hayter bumps Riho again then digs her boots in as AEW goes to break.
AEW returns and Riho fights to her feet as Hayter has on a chinlock. Fans rally up and Riho throws body shots. Riho arm-drags free, Hayter ends up in the other corner and says she doesn’t want trouble. Then she DECKS Statlander and swipes at Ruby! Hayter runs at Riho, Riho slides under but Hayter gets a foot! Riho BOOTS Hayter and tags in Ruby! Ruby fires off on Hayter and fans fire up! Ruby runs, Hayter reels her in but gets an elbow! Ruby runs to YAKUZA KICK! Ruby then baits Hayter in for a HARD STO! Cover, TWO! Ruby drags Hayter up, tags in Statlander, and they double whip Hayter. Hayter blocks the double hip toss to throw knees and forearms!
Hayter shoves Statlander, spins her around and hits an URENAGE BACKBREAKER! Cover, TWO! Hayter seethes but she tags in Rebel. Britt’s buddies double suplex but Statlander fights that! They mug Statlander with hammering hands then try again, but Statlander DOUBLE SUPLXES them! Britt is furious but Statlander fires up to BUZZSAW Hayter! Statlander dodges Rebel to wheelbarrow and victory roll! Britt gets in to METEORA! Britt and Statlander brawl, Britt ducks a roundhouse to SUPERKICK! Britt reels Statlander in but Statlander counters to a FISHERMAN FALCON ARROW! Riho goes up top to get a boost from Statlander again, but Rebel shields Britt!
That doesn’t bother Riho and Statlander, they still give her GALAXY DOUBLE STOMPS! Fans fire up as Riho goes up again to CROSSBODY Hayter! Ruby tags in, RIOTT KICK for Rebel! Cover, Ruby’s team wins!
Winners: Ruby Soho, Riho & Kris Statlander, by pinfall
The makeshift trio shows Britt and her team they’re not so hot in AEW after all! But will Britt make sure Ruby’s next destination isn’t the championship but the dentist’s chair?
Mark Henry interviews Max Caster and Brian Pillman Jr.
Before these two settle unfinished business, Henry asks Platinum Max about the months of antagonizing BPJ. What’s his problem with BPJ? Caster’s problem is that BPJ has people around him telling him he’s so great, when he’s not. But the thing about tonight is, BPJ won’t have his “fake friends” with him. Caster has his real friend, Anthony Bowens, with him. That’s right, Pillman! Tonight, the best wrestler alive beats BPJ’s garbagy Saved by the Bell reboot looking ass all over Cincinnati! That’s a mic drop!
Henry says BPJ is at home, so what’s his strategy? BPJ will give it short and simple: go out there and outwrestle Max Caster. BPJ wants to see if Caster can walk the walk like he talks the talk. And well, we saw how far talking gets Caster in this sport. And again, they’re in BPJ’s hometown of Cincy, Ohio, and he’ll come in at 100 miles per hour! Well then enough talk, it’s time for the main event! This score between the Acclaimed and the Varsity Blonds might finally be settled, but will it go the home team’s way?
Brian Pillman Jr. VS Max Caster w/ Anthony Bowens!
The Acclaimed enter first to rap again! “Platinum Max, I make your girl call me ‘daddy.’ But I don’t like the fat women here in Cincinnati. Pillman is from this place, and it shows. A town full of losers, like Pete Rose. I keep it so thorough, I’mma take his knees out like Joe Burrow. Get over it, Skyline Chili looks like a bowl of sh-” WHOA~, Max! Bowens stops him there, and says Max has to watch himself, he’s on thin ice. But Cincinnati~! The Acclaimed have arrived! BPJ makes his entrance now and is in Bengal stripes! He gets right in the ring and TACKLES Caster! The ref wants BPJ to let off as he grounds ‘n’ pounds, but the bell rings as Caster scurries away!
BPJ keeps Caster from getting out of the ring and drags him back to CHOP him! Fans fire up and chant “FLYIN’ BRIAN!” given BPJ has embraced his dad’s nickname and symbol on his gear. BPJ CHOPS Caster again, wrenches and whips Caster to ropes. Caster holds ropes, bails out and regroups with Bowens, but BPJ builds speed to WRECK Caster with a dropkick! Fans fire up again and BPJ scares Bowens off. BPJ puts Caster in the ring but Caster claims bad leg. BPJ wants Caster to stand up, but Bowens trips BPJ off the apron! Bowens plays dumb and Caster goes out to APRON BACK SUPLEX! BPJ writhes and Caster kicks him around in the ring.
Caster gives back the ground ‘n’ pound then taunts fans with a shoulder shimmy. Caster knees and CLUBS BPJ down, then covers, TWO! BPJ shakes his head but Caster stomps him down. Caster stalks BPJ to a corner and fish hooks his face! The ref counts, Caster lets off, and Bowens gets another cheap shot in! Caster runs in to boot BPJ, then brings him out. BPJ throws body shots but Caster cravats to knee him in the back. Caster drops a knee, covers and gives a thumbs up, TWO! BPJ’s family fires up in the front row and so do the fans but Caster clamps on with a chinlock. BPJ throws body shots, forearms, and runs, but he fakes Caster out to KICK him!
Bowens swipes at BPJ, BPJ swipes back. Caster BACK HANDS BPJ then hits a BIG back suplex! Caster high fives Bowens then stomps and kicks BPJ around. BPJ goes to ropes, Caster throws BPJ out. Caster argues with the ref so Bowens can stomp away on BPJ! Bowens feeds BPJ into the ring so Caster can stomp him more. Fans rally up for BPJ but Caster brings him around to whip and elbow him down! Caster adds a basement dropkick before the cover, TWO! Another try, TWO! Caster clamps on with a chinlock and grinds BPJ but Cincy rallies up. BPJ fights to his feet, Caster knees low, and Caster bumps BPJ off buckles. Caster runs corner to corner but BPJ BOOTS him!
Caster tries again, BPJ dodges! BPJ ducks as Caster is punch drunk, and BPJ fires off hands! BPJ runs to forearm smash! And then clothesline! BPJ gets Caster up, brings him around and CHOPS! BPJ CLUBS Caster in a corner, hauls him back up to wrench and whip corner to corner then clothesline right away! BPJ CHOPS, climbs up, and rains down fists! The fans count all the way to 10, then Caster falls. BPJ adjusts, Bowens anchors him but BPJ kicks him away! Caster ROCKS BPJ, climbs up top, but BPJ blocks the superplex! Caster and BPJ brawl, BPJ HEADBUTTS Caster down! BPJ adjusts to CROSSBODY Bowens!
BPJ is fired up and fans are right there with him! But Caster SHOTGUNS BPJ to the floor! Caster goes out to put BPJ back in, and now Caster climbs up. MIC DROP FLOPS! No elbow for Caster but BPJ gets to the apron! BPJ powers up, springboards, FLYING CLOTHESLINE! Cover, BPJ wins!
Winner: Brian Pillman Jr, by pinfall
And the family gets to celebrate! Bowens isn’t happy, though, and he attacks BPJ! Bowens stomps BPJ at the ropes, Caster gets in the ring and ROCKS BPJ with a right! DDT from Bowens and Caster suggests hitting BPJ with the boombox! Bowens gets the boombox, fans call BS but here comes JON MOXLEY! The Maniac kicks Bowens then CLOBBERS him with the boombox! Caster is shocked, BPJ SUPERKICKS him into a PARADIGM SHIFT! Cincinnati’s own supports each other and celebrates with their town! Will this momentum help BPJ take the fight to MJF in the near future?
My Thoughts:
Another great episode for Rampage, and I should’ve realized that the hometown hero would main event. PAC VS Andrade was a great way to open and a really wild match with those moves Andrade was busting out. Andrade having Chavo and Jose ringside, of course they cheat to help Andrade win, but I am really surprised Andrade broke his partnership with Chavo so soon. The Death Triangle gets their pound of flesh going after Chavo themselves, but I’m curious to see how Andrade is supposed to take on a trio without back-up. Similarly, Ruby and her team took on Britt’s team in a very fun trios match, and it makes a lot of sense in story that the Faces win here. I don’t see Ruby winning the title off of Britt, so building up wins like this at least keep her strong in the AEW kayfabe of the win-loss record.
We got a pretty good segment from Darby, Sting, Tully and Spears. It was a good Heel tactic to distract from the ramp to attack from the crowd, and this adds some heat to Darby VS Spears. As for Sting VS Tully, Sting’s a lot younger and in a lot better shape than Tully, I feel like Sting is going to take on a Pinnacle related proxy or two instead. The Mark Henry prematch interview segments continue to be really good, and I like that AEW is using continuity within a build for Brian Pillman Jr. before he takes on MJF.
It makes sense that this couldn’t be a tag match after Griff got beat up on Dynamite, and BPJ got to shine in the usual situation of where the Face is outnumbered by the Heels. BPJ still finds a way to win, Moxley gets to make that Cincinnati connection in the save, fans go home happy again while still checking off the objective of building someone up. MJF VS BPJ is going to have a lot of fire, certainly in the ring with both guys being young and being confident and certain in their wrestling movesets. The flash and speed will come from Pillman, the Heel savvy and heat will come from Friedman.

Matt & Nick Jackson stepped to Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona to help “Jungle” Jack Perry, but it didn’t help Jack win the National Championship. Now, we kill two birds with one stone as these teams settle a score while also earning themselves a golden opportunity! Will there be a Superkick Party in Vegas? Or will Kaun & Liona slam the gates shut?
The teams sort out, and the fans chant for “THE! ELITE! THE THE ELITE!” Liona and Matt step up, tie up, and Liona SHOVES Matt away. Matt comes back but Liona SHOVES him down again! Matt slips around, headlocks, but Liona powers up and out. Liona RUNS Matt over, but Matt gets back up! Liona scoops to SLAM Matt, and the fans boo while Liona flexes. Matt scrambles away, he tags in Nick, and the fans rally up again. Liona smirks as Nick takes his time. Nick then runs up, but Liona scoops! Nick shouts for Matt to help but Liona SLAMS him down! Liona flexes, then ELBOW FLOPS as Nick dodges!
Nick trips Kaun up, RAMS into Liona, then goes up and over. Matt tags in The Bucks pinball Liona around, then they DOUBLE DRPOKICK! Kaun tags in before Liona runs back up, but The Bucks DUMP him out! The Bucks then DOUBLE DROPKICK Kaun! Cravat and ASSISTED SLICED BREAD! SHINING WIZARD! The fans fire up for The Bucks while Kaun bails out. The Bucks aim, and they STEREO PLANCHA! But GOA catches them both! And they SANDWICH The Bucks in front of commentary! The fans boo but Kaun puts Matt in the ring. Kaun stomps Matt, tags Liona, and they get Matt up to double whip.
GOA RUN Matt over, then they throw up the Demand hand sign. They clamp on STEREO SHOULDER CLAWS! Nick runs up to fire off hands, but neither Kaun nor Liona is bothered. The Elite want their moment, but guess what? It’s not gonna happen, because you wanna relive the good ol’ days. The thing about the “good ol’ days” is, they’re the old days! Stokely wishes he could feel his legs so he could get out this chair and SLAP reality back into The Bucks! Dax says we don’t even know who the third team is, but that’s okay, because what we do know is that The Bucks, for the better part of ten YEARS, have been chasing FTR’s legacy. The fans boo as Skye Blue & Julia hart hold Kris down so Thekla can use her own belt to LASH Kris again and again! Then Thekla grabs the mic to tell Big Stat Daddy, “I don’t care what the stipulation is! The end will always be the same!” Then she LASHES Kris more! The fans boo as Thekla stands over Kris and holds up the title belt. “The end will be toxic!” The fans boo as The Triangle of Madness stand over Kris. But as they leave, Kris grabs her mic! Lexy Nair is with The Protostar and brings up Tommaso Ciampa winning the TNT Championship. Kyle made it clear that night that Kyle wanted the TNT title back. But then Ciampa issued the open challenge, only for Kyle to skip it. That allowed Roderick Strong AND Claudio Castagnoli to answer it instead. Kyle says Ciampa wants to keep the tradition of the TNT Open Challenge alive, and yet he’s changing the rules so that it’s come one, come all, bring everyone and your grandma! Kyle does not respect that. Now, Roddy and Claudio have jumped Kyle in line, and… Kazuchika Okada steps in!
Kyle says hey, Okada says hi, and Okada says they’re family. Okada cares about Kyle’s success, unlike Takeshita, who is just so focused on himself and that Continental Championship. So Okada wants Kyle to walk into his home country for Grand Slam: Australia as the TNT Champion! Whoever wins tonight, Kyle should make it clear that he is next. Take that title back so you can be a champion, just like Okada. Okada then adds, “Protokada~!” before he leaves. Passive aggressive or not, The Rainmaker does have a point. The bell rings and the fans rally up already. Scorpio and Knight circle, but then Scorpio takes a moment to appreciate the “S C U! S C U!” chants. Knight says SCU’s time has passed! Ouch! Scorpio and Knight tie up, are in a deadlock, but Knight powers Scorpio to a corner. Scorpio turns it around, the ref counts, but the two go around along the ropes! They go in and out of corners, but then Knight traps Scorpio! The fans cheer, the ref counts, and Knight lets off. Knight and Scorpio reset, the two talk a littl emore trash, then they knuckle lock. They go shoulder to shoulder in a Test of Strenght, then Scorpio rolls to wrench and wristlock.
Knight stays on his feet to roll, handspring, and wrench. Knight WRINGS the arm, then drops a knee! The fans cheer but Scorpio reaches up to headscissor. Knight endures the squeeze, kips free, but Scorpio arm-drags back! Scorpio holds Knight down, but Knight rolls back. Scorpio wrenches again to headlock, but Knight powers up and out. Scorpio RUNS Knight down, taunts him a bit, then builds speed. Knight drops down, hurdles over, but Scorpio doesn’t leap over! Knight avoids the stomp with a kip up! Knight wags his finger and says, “Gotta be faster than that.” The fans cheer as Knight shows off the muscles.
Knight and Scorpio reset, but then Scorpio shows off his kip up, and his flexing! The fans cheer and Daniels says it’s running wild. Knight plays the bald card! The fans chant, “BALD! BALD! BALD!” Knight shows off the hair, but Scorpio CHOPS him! And CHOPS again! Knight CHOPS back! Scorpio pushes Knight to the corner, UPPERCUTS, then has him in another corner. Scorpio whips, Knight reverses, but Scorpio goes up. Knight stops Scorpio from going over to throw him onto the top rope! Scorpio lands where the sun don’t shine! Knight then triangle jump DROPKICKS! Scorpio falls off the rope and hits the edge of the ramp!
Daniels checks Scorpio, tells him to take a breath, and Scorpio slowly sits up. Scorpio goes to the apron but Knight builds speed! Knight FLYING LARIATS Scorpio at the ramp! The fans fire up with Knight while Collision goes picture in picture!
Knight drags Scorpio up, TOSSES him into the ring, then hurries to sit Scorpio up. Knight SLAPS Scorpio’s bald head, then runs for a SLIDING SHOULDER TACKLE! Cover, TWO! Scorpio toughs it out but Knight stays on him with a chinlock. Scorpio endures, but Knight drags him back by an arm for a leg drop! Then a short arm scissor! Scorpio endures, Daniels coaches him up, and Scorpio fights around. Scorpio pops free to then float to a facelock. Scorpio brings Knight up, whips him hard to a corner, and Knight slumps down the buckles. Scorpio storms up to stomp a mudhole in, but the ref counts.

Collision returns and Knight whips, only for Scorpio to reverse. Knight goes up and over, Scorpio turns around, into Knight’s LEAPING LARIAT! The fans fire up with Knight and he scoops Scorpio to SLAM! Then he winds up for the UFO SPLASH, but onto knees! Scorpio turns things around on Knight but both men are down. The cars pull up to the rooftop of this parking garage, and The Mad King leads the way for Dezmond Xavier, Zachary Wentz, and “Monkey.” They’re ready to square off with The Redwood, The Bounty Hunter, Liverpool’s Number One & Mr. Mayhem! It’s time to settle the score, but who will be leaving Las Vegas completely busted?
Eddie starts by chucking a trash can then running up! The bell rings as the hands start flying! Eddie SMACKS Drake off a car hood, Keith dodges a chain fist, and then Drake dodges a sledgehammer! That window is busted open, but Drake CLAWS Eddie’s face! And then he SMACKS Eddie with that trash can! Bill knocks Zach down, Ortiz TRASH CANS Gibson! Eddie HAMMERS Drake down low, then DIGS the hammer’s claw into Drake’s forehead! Bill runs up on Zach, but Zach dodges, so Bill boots bumper! Bill still comes back, Zach dodges again, and Bill boots a side mirror off! Bill is furious, he grabs his backpack, and he brings out a brick!
Bill CHUCKS the brick but Zach dodges! Another window is smashed out! Zach SMACKS Bill with a trash can lid! And SMACKS him again! Ortiz SLAMS the car hood closed on Gibson again and again! Then he BACK SUPLEXES Gibson onto the hood! Keith SMACKS Dez off the limousine trunk, but then Zach SMACKS Keith with a trash can lid! Ortiz has a kendo stick to SMACK Gibson! The Rascalz get up on top of the limo, Ortiz lines up Gibson & Keith for them, and HOT FIRE FLAME!! Down go Gibson & Keith, but Bill BOOTS Zach and DECKS Ortiz! Dez CROSSBODIES, but into Bill’s arms!
Dez panics as Bill winds up, and RAMS him into the side of the limo! And RAMS him into it again! And then SLAMS him onto the trunk! Bill CLUBS away on Dez, Ortiz SMACKS Gibson with the trash can lid, but Bill kicks Zach down. Bill scoops Dez, pops him up to a fireman’s carry, and gorilla press! Bill THROWS Dez over the limo! Did he at least land safe on the roof?! Bill doesn’t seem to care while Collision goes picture in picture.
Drake knocks Eddie down, and he hobbles over to ROCK Ortiz. Zach ROCKS Drake, Drake ROCKS Zach, and Drake fires more hands. Keith CLAWS Ortiz’s face! Bill CHOKES Eddie! Drake sends Zach into a mirror! Gibson SMACKS Ortiz off a hood, then SMACKS him with a trash can! Drake SMACKS Ortiz with the lid! Bill CHOKES Zach with a kendo stick! Drake stomps Eddie down! Bill UPPERCUTS Ortiz, then drags him up to HAMMER away! Bill snarls, and then Keith gets out of the limo! Keith is coughing, but Zach taunts him as a “lightweight.” SUPERKICK! Dez is up on the roof again, and he SHOOTING STAR ATTACKS! Down goes Keith! Then The Rascalz put the trash can on Keith, to DOUBLE SUPERKICK him down! Drake CHUCKS a kendo stick at Dez! Zach jumps on Drake for a SLEEPER! Dez SMACKS Drake with that kendo stick! And SMACK him again! And again! The stick is broken but now The Rascalz drag Drake onto a car! But Bill reaches up to YANK Dez down, then trip Zach up!
Bill SMACKS Zach off the car hood, then climbs up to join him! Bill guzels Zach, Drake says finish it! CHOKE SLAM on the windshield!! Zach writhes in agony, but Gibson holds Dez up! Drake takes aim, GRIZZLED DOOMSDAY onto the concrete!! BUT EDDIE RUNS UP! Eddie ROCKS Drake, fires off on Gibson, and Ortiz uses PLYWOOD to SMACK Bill! Eddie fires HEADBUTT after HEADBUTT on a bloody Gibson, then he LOW BLWOS Drake using the wood! Eddie huffs ‘n’ puffs, but he dares GYV to bring it! Eddie & Ortiz fire hands with GYV! Eddie & Ortiz get the edge, but then GYV DOUBLE LOW BLOW!! Then Gibson uses his scarf to CHOKE Eddie! Drake helps out, and Gibson says this is how it started, so this is how it’ll end! But Ortiz has a jumper cable! He CHOKES GYV with it! But wait, who his this sneaking out of one of the cars? ISLA DAWN!? She CLOBBERS Ortiz with sheetrock!! The White Witch has gone wicked, and she pushes Ortiz around. Gibson drags Ortiz up, and says to remember this moment! But wait, to counter Isla, Eddie’s got MYRON! Myron LEAPS out and CANNONBALLS onto GYV!!
Isla storms up on Myron, he blocks her pipe, and he fireman’s carries her out of play! Then Eddie has Ortiz get Drake up! POWERBOMB onto the trunk!! Eddie has Gibson, DDT on the car roof!! Eddie covers, Eddie’s team wins!!

Lexy Nair is with the Savior of the Backbreaker and brings up Tommaso Ciampa’s Open Challenge being answered by both him and Claudio Castagnoli. Clearly not what Roddy expected, but he still has the title shot. “LEXYYY~! What a great observation. Things lately haven’t been going the way I expected, that’s why a change is very necessary. And that is why I answered Tommaso Ciampa’s TNT Open Challenge.” Mark Briscoe steps in, and he apologizes for interrupting. But he loves Roddy taking the initiative for answering the Open Challenge. It’ll be one hell of a fight. Just like how last week, Briscoe and Ciampa had a hell of a fight.
Briscoe says hey, he really believes Roddy has what it takes to become the TNT Champion. Just like Briscoe thinks he still has what it takes to become TNT Champion when he gets another shot. But one way or another, whoever comes out of this champion, when the night is over, if it’s Roddy, just do Briscoe a solid and give his fellow Conglomerator the first shot. Roddy says thanks for the words of encouragement. But Roddy’s not in The Conglomeration. Roddy storms off, Briscoe is speechless, but will this all be a moot point if Roddy doesn’t win?
AEW TNT Championship Triple Threat: Tommaso Ciampa VS Roderick Strong VS Claudio Castagnoli!
The introductions are made, “Silvey” is raised, and we see who is the Face of TNT after this high stakes Collision!
The bell rings and Roddy fires right off on Claudio, unfinished business from their CMLL World Heavyweight Championship match! Ciampa goes after Roddy, Roddy ROCKS him, but Claudio UPPERCUTS Roddy! Claudio headlocks, Roddy powers up and out, and Ciampa TOSSES Claudio out! The fans fire up as Ciampa and Roddy stare down, and then the CHOPS start flying! The fans “WOO~” as the CHOPS go again and again, then Ciampa TOSSES Roddy out! Claudio is there to catch Roddy! Claudio then pops Roddy up for SNAKE EYES off the apron! The fans cheer that, then Claudio storms into the ring to face Ciampa.
The fans fire up with “BALD! BALD!” while the forearms fly! Neither man backs down, and Ciampa then BOOTS! Claudio eggs Ciampa on so he BOOTS again! Claudio blocks to UPPERCUT! Claudio fires up, the fans cheer, and Claudio runs, but into a BOOT! Ciampa runs, but Roddy is back to DROPKICK him down! Claudio LARIATS Roddy down! Claudio soaks up cheers and jeers, then he swaggers a bit while he waits on the others. Roddy sits up so Claudio brings him up. Claudio UPPERCUTS Roddy to a corner, then he whips Ciampa in! Claudio runs up and he UPPERCUTS them both! Then he whips Ciampa corner to corner to UPPERCUT!
Roddy runs up, dodges Claudio, and he KNEES Ciampa in the corner! Claudio comes back, but both Roddy and Ciampa dodge! Roddy runs side to side to ROCK Claudio, ROCK Ciampa, but then Ciampa LEBOWS Roddy! Ciampa dragon sleepers Claudio, catches Roddy, FLATLINER REVERSE DDT COMBO! The fans fire up while all three men are down! Roddy goes to a corner, Ciampa rises at center and he stomps Claudio. The fans duel as Ciampa CHOPS and ROCKS Claudio, then ROCKS him again. But Claudio CHOPS in return! The CHOPS go back and forth, then Ciampa makes it about SLAP after SLAP!
Claudio fires forearms, then a knee down low! Claudio reels Ciampa in, then kicks Roddy. Claudio has them both, but they fight the double suplex! They DOUBLE SUPELX Claudio instead! The fans fire up while Claudio tumbles out. Roddy then DECKS Ciampa! Ciampa goes to the apron, Roddy is after him, and they fire off CHOPS! The fans rally as the CHOPS go back and forth. Ciampa kicks low, fireman’s carries, but Roddy fights free! Roddy ROCKS Ciampa, Claudio YANKS Ciampa into a fireman’s carry, but then Roddy WRECKS them both with a dropkick! The fans fire up as Roddy sends Claudio into railing! And then CLUBS him!
Roddy brings Claudio around, reels him in, but Claudio fights the lift! Claudio SMACKS Roddy off the railing, then tells fans to move! The fans do what they can before Claudio GOURD BUSTERS Roddy on the railing! The fans cheer but then Claudio spots Ciampa. Claudio runs up, Ciampa drop toeholds him into a chair! Then a KNEE LIFT for Roddy! Ciampa runs back at Claudio, but into a gorilla press! And Claudio aims to THROW Ciampa on the desk! Ciampa falls in a heap while the fans are thunderous, and Collision goes picture in picture!
Claudio is feeling good while he goes back for Roddy. Claudio drags Roddy up, makes him take a seat, and then dumps him into the front row! Roddy sputters on the floor while Claudio goes back to Ciampa. Claudio pushes Ciampa in the ring, then goes to the railing so he can DOUBLE STOMP Roddy down! Claudio goes back to the ring, goes up a corner, and he AX HANDLES Ciampa! Claudio soaks up cheers and jeers while he paces around. Claudio clamps onto Ciampa with a chinlock, then shifts to a neck wrench. Ciampa endures while Roddy sputters on the outside. Ciampa BITES Claudio’s hand!
Ciampa fires hands on Claudio but Claudio UPPERCUTS him down! Claudio then runs to BOOT Roddy back into the crowd! The Swiss Cyborg is truly a machine as he goes back for Ciampa. Claudio scoops and SLAMS Ciampa! Then ELBOW DROPS! Cover, TWO! Ciampa toughs it out but Claudio keeps on him with a chinlock. Ciampa endures, fights up, and fights around. The fans cheer him on, and Roddy flounders back to ringside. Ciampa rises up but Claudio KNEES him low! Collision returns to single picture and Claudio takes aim. Claudio runs corner to corner, but into a BOOT! Claudio UPPERCUTS Ciampa down!
The fans rally as Claudio goes up the corner, stands Ciampa up, and deadlift SUPER- NO, Ciampa fights the superplex to land on the corner! They brawl up top, but Roddy is in! Ciampa CHOPS Claudio and Claudio falls, into Roddy’s ATOMIC FACEBUSTER! Then Roddy sees Ciampa leap, and he DROPKICKS Ciampa outta the sky! The fans fire up as Roddy hooks Ciampa up, BACKBREAKER! Then the underhooks, TIGER DRIVER! High stack, TWO! But Roddy has the legs! STRONG HOLD!! Ciampa endures as Roddy sits deep! The fans rally as Ciampa reaches out, and Claudio runs up to BOOT Roddy!
Roddy not only holds onto Ciampa, but he SPITS at Claudio and eggs him on! Claudio UPPERCUTS Roddy and that knocks him down! Claudio drags Ciampa up, but Roddy stops the suplex! Roddy kicks low, he and Ciampa work together again, but Claudio fights the suplex! Claudio powers up to DOUBLE SUPLEX Roddy and Ciampa! The fans fire up and we hit the 10 minute mark, aka the halfway point! Even then, fans hope these three “Fight Forever!” Claudio runs up, Ciampa DUMPS him out, but Claudio HOTSHOTS him! Claudio UPPERCUTS Roddy down, then storms into the ring! But Ciampa has Claudio in ropes! WILLOW’S BELL!
Ciampa hurries to underhooks Claudio, FAIRYTALE ENDING! Cover, TWO!! Claudio survives so this story continues! Ciampa brings down his kneepad, and he aims at Claudio! PSYCHO- NO! Claudio blocks the knee, SPINEBUSTERS, then he SWINGS Ciampa around! Roddy is back in and he times it to DROPKICK Ciampa outta the swing! STRONG- NO, Claudio stops the jump knee to POP-UP UPPERCUT!! Cover, CIAMPA stops the ref! Claudio is furious, he gets Roddy up, but Roddy BACKDROPS free! Claudio lands out, but the STRONG KNEE hits! Another STRONG KNEE and Claudio is down! Cover, PSYCHO KNEE!! Cover, CIAMPA WINS!!

The Psycho Killer snatches victory from the jaws of defeat, but he doesn’t get to celebrate as Kyle Fletcher makes his way out here. The fans are torn as the Protostar struts right down the ramp and into the ring. Kyle SNATCHES the belt from the ref, looks at it, then hands it to Ciampa. Fletcher is following Okada’s advice, and he has a mic to ask Ciampa, “How does it feel, champ? How does it feel to be All Elite? How does it feel to know that you will never fill my shoes?” The fans boo, but Kyle says forgive him, they haven’t been formally introduced, have they? He is the greatest TNT Champion of all time, The Protostar, KYLE FLETCHER!
And Kyle was more than happy to take the title back from that “delinquent,” Mark Briscoe, but Ciampa has thrown a spanner in the works. Now the only thing Kyle wants more than to become a TWO-TIME TNT Champion is to walk into his hometown of Sydney, Australia, one week from tonight. Kyle wants to walk into Grand Slam and get the hero’s welcome he deserves! The fans boo that but Kyle says he has a challenge for Mr. Ciampa. Next week on Dynamite, for the first-time-ever, Fletcher VS Ciampa for the TNT Championship! The fans do like that idea! Ciampa nods, then he holds up “Silvey.” Then he gives Kyle a peck on the cheek! Challenge accepted!
Ciampa goes to leave but Kyle says hold on a sec, mate. Ciampa said he came here because this is where the best wrestle? Well, next Wednesday, Ciampa finds out what the best really looks like! Mic drop from the Aussie Arrow, but will he strike gold in the Golden State? Or will Ciampa make sure “Silvey” isn’t going anywhere?
My Thoughts:
A great Collision with quite a bit put together for not just Grand Slam: Australia but also Dynamite in Ontario, California. The tag match of Bucks VS Gates went about how I expected, aka Bucks winning. With that, FTR of course had to speak. Their promo would make you think we’re getting the obvious FTR VS Bucks title match, but I’d love if that wild card team was a team that could believably win the Triple Threat and the tag titles. This could be the best possible place for Edge- er, Cope & Christian to return and get their shot at FTR. C&C VS FTR at Revolution would be a great match to finally cap off that feud from last year.
Very good promo from Brody and a great promo from MJF in response. Obviously with Dynamite being that distraction-squash what have you, Grand Slam is gonna give us a real main event level match from Brody VS MJF. But as I said on Dynamite, feels like MJF will survive to stay champion, even cheating to the max (no pun intended) to do it. Then MJF will likely face Hangman at Revolution and who knows how that goes. Hook had a good promo to let us know he will be captain of Opps for right now. Given Samoa Joe is hurt and Will Hobbs is now Royce Keys in WWE, I wouldn’t mind if Hook makes the executive decision to bring in at least one new Opps member, like someone doing well on ROH who can be “called up” to AEW.
Great match from Knight VS Scorpio, but I’m a little surprised we got this over a match with a Don Callis Family member. Good match from Mina VS Viva, but of course Mina won. The overlap of Death Riders showing up as she was exiting was good stuff, too. Very good Mixed Tag, and Yuta sure loves getting heat, it’s why he was always going after Zayda. Yuta threatening to cut Zayda’s hair to bring out Toni & Cassidy was good stuff, though, and I think Mina is going to end up a factor in the Mixed Tag. I would think she goes out there hoping to help Toni & Cassidy, but then she costs them. Though, a shaved Cassidy, or even wilder, a shaved Toni… I don’t know if they’d really pull that…
Very good promo from Kris and Triangle of Madness, in that it was an attack that then led to Kris upping the ante. Though, Thekla still having a match tonight was a bit redundant since we saw her beat up on Kris and then she absolutely squashes Brooks. I would’ve figured out how to segue from Thekla’s squash into Kris’ promo, or just flip the order completely so that Thekla squashes Brooks then attacks Kris. Either way, a Strap Match between Thekla and Kris is going to be awesome, maybe even a show stealer, and could honestly go either way. Perhaps Thekla wins on Dynamite, making her and Kris 1-1, with Revolution being the tiebreaker.
Great Parking Lot Brawl, and I like that they went with the rooftop of the parking garage. The very moment I wondered if they’d kayfabe someone being thrown off the roof, Bill threw Dez over the limo into a space we couldn’t see. But no, Dez was safe on the other side of the limo, but he didn’t make as dramatic of a reappearance as he could’ve. I did like that the limo was all smokey so they could joke about the marijuana. Isla getting involved to then motivate Myron getting involved was good stuff, too, and we got a great win for the Faces from this. I would think this is the end to the feud, there’s not much more you can do after something like this.
And great stuff with the TNT Championship tonight. Okada and Kyle had a good promo, and the Passive Aggressive Rainmaker is certainly an unexpected route for slow-burn building to Okada VS Takeshita. Great little promo from Briscoe and Roddy, with Roddy being a bit more forceful about how he’s NOT Conglomeration. Great Triple Threat for the main event, great win for Ciampa, but then great promo from Kyle to close us out and make their title match official. Now, I know they’ve teased Fletcher VS Briscoe Game 7, but I kinda want them to push on that a little longer for the sake of keeping this TNT “Division” more lively.

Brody King speaks.
“MJF, tonight in the main event, I’m gonna hurt you. Bad. And for the first time in your life, you can’t talk your way outta this one.” The King of Death barks, will he get to take a bite out of the champ?
Kenny Omega speaks.
“One more week, one more win, and finally we can get a little bit closer to reclaiming AEW gold. In my way this week, it’s you, Andrade. And I haven’t forgotten the cowardly attack you put on me months ago. And I do know who orchestrated that attack, and that was Uncle Don Callis. Well, Don, much like you, up until this point to end my career, your efforts will be absolutely impotent. Andrade, I’ll see you in the ring soon.”
Don Callis speaks.
“Don Callis & The Don Callis Family present AEW Dynamite. That’s how it feels to me, because tonight, Takeshita takes the next step in his quest to become the Continental Champion. And he and my men are gonna leave the Death Riders laying in that Six Man Tag tonight. Same thing’s gonna happen to Hangman Page when he gets in there with the animal, Mark Davis. And then lil’ Kenny, my little b*tch nephew, you are in the ring with a real man tonight in Andrade! And Andrade is gonna stomp a hole in you and leave you for dead! And I’m gonna be so, so happy.”

Harley Cameron says tonight, the tag champs take on Megan Bayne & Penelope Ford in an eliminator match! You ladies aren’t ready to feel the wrath! Willow Nightingale says the Babes are living their dream, so every night, they have to fight for that dream! So tonight, in the middle of Las Vegas, let’s FIGHT!
Megan Bayne & Penelope Ford speak.
The Superbad Girl points to the Megasus and says we are looking at a woman who leaves a trail of bodies, and Megan says that Penelope is a woman who was sidelined for months while every woman beneath her was given a shot. Penelope warns The Babes that tonight, they’re looking at their end. Will these #SuperbadGoddesses make themselves contenders by force? Or will they fall short in this golden opportunity?
Six Man Tag: Jon Moxley, Daniel Garcia, PAC VS Konosuke Takeshita, EL CLØN & Josh Alexander!
Just as that Jackal, Don Callis, said, this is all about the Continental Championship and bringing it back to the Family. But with The Dragon Slayer and The Bastard backing him up, will The Maniac be nigh unstoppable? Or can The Alpha, the Corrupted Copy, and the Walking Weapon avenge the losses the Family has suffered?
The trios sort out and Garcia starts against Alexander. They circle, feel things out, and Garcia rolls through the wrench. They tie up and Garcia waistlocks. Alexander switches, wrenches, and wrangles Garcia, but Garcia trips Alexander. Alexander holds Garcia off, they float around, and Garcia headlocks. Alexander powers up and out, they RAM shoulders, and Alexander CHOPS, CHOPS, CHOPS! Garcia fires off forearms, then runs, but into a BOOT! Alexander CHOPS Garcia, whips him, but Garcia reverses. Alexander goes up and over, slides under the boot, but Garcia CLOBBERS him! The fans cheer while Garcia eggs Alexander on.
Alexander rises up, and he backs away to tag Clon. Garcia backs off and he tags in Pac. The fans fire up as Pac and Clon circle. They tie up, Pac headlocks for the takeover, but Clon fights for the headscissor. Pac shakes that off, Clon fights to his feet, but Pac wrenches to wristlock. Clon wrenches through to wristlock back, but Pac uses the ropes to flip through. Pac wrenches, Clon rolls, handsprings, and waistlocks. Pac switches, Clon switches, repeat, but then Clon uses the ropes to go up and around! Clon arm-drags but Pac comes back to RANA! Clon tumbles, rolls back, and arm-drags, only for Pac to handspring through!
The fans fire up as Pac ELBOWS Clon down. Clon kicks from below but Pac blocks, only for Clon to KICK with the other foot! Clon kips up and the fans cheer the standoff. Pac and Clon reset, and Pac backs away to tag in Moxley. The fans cheer as Moxley stares Clon down, but Clon tags in Konosuke! The fans cheer as Maniac and Alpha step up and get face to face. Then they start throwing forearms! The fans rally as the shots go back and forth! Moxley runs to RAM Konosuke! Konosuke rebounds to RAM Moxley! They get face to face again, but Garcia and Alexander run in! Garcia CLOBBERS Konosuke, Alexander CLOBBERS Moxley, and now it’s a brawl!
The fans are torn as Pac and Clon join in with stomping down their opponents. Garcia TOSSES Alexander, then he stomps Konosuke. Garcia KNEES Clon, TOSSES him out, and Moxley brings Konosuke over to the Death Rider corner. Garcia tags in, then he tags Pac. The Death Riders mug Konosuke, then Pac pushes Konosuke down to stomp him. Pac drags Konosuke up, bumps him off buckles, then he tags Moxley. They stomp Konosuke, and Moxley even stands on him! The ref reprimands and counts, Moxley steps off at 4, but Garcia gets a shot in. Moxley stands Konosuke up, CHOPS him, then he tags Garcia in.
Garcia tags Pac, and the mugging continues. Moxley BLASTS Alexander, Garcia B OOTS Clon, then they send Pac in! Konosuke TOSSES Pac up and out! Then he dodges Garcia and DECKS Moxley! Moxley falls into the Callis corner, and Konosuke OVERHEAD BELLY2BELLY SUPLEXES Garcia onto Moxley! The fans fire up with Konosuke and he crawls for his corner, but Pac anchors a foot! Konosuke stands and his height lets him hot tag Clon! The fans cheer as Clon ducks ‘n’ dodges Pac, then tilt-o-whirls to spin and SOBAT! KICK! ENZIGIRI! Clon kips up and the fans fire up> Pac whips Clon away, but Clon goes up and over, MATRIX PELE!
The fans are fired up as Clon keeps moving, but Pac dodges to SNAP GERMAN! Pac snarls and stands back up while the fans rally. Pac stalks Clon, then builds speed with the ropes, only for Alexander to trip him! Clon hits the BOX JUMP LIONSAULT! The fans are torn but Alexander drags Pac outta the ring, just to send him into railing! Konosuke and Alexander mug Pac while Clon soaks up cheers and jeers, but Moxley hurries over! Moxley gets mugged now while Dynamite goes picture in picture!
Alexander TOSSES Moxley aside, and Clon goes out to stomp Pac. Clon drags Pac up and into the ring, then he covers, TWO! Pac is tougher than all that, but Clon drags him over to tag Konosuke. Konosuke and Clon stand on Pac’s arms, and they STEREO STOMP! Pac writhes and Moxley seethes but Konosuke stands Pac up. Konosuke wrenches and snapmares to then push Pac down, ARM JAMMER! Konosuke then clamps on with a GROUND COBRA TWIST! Pac endures and he pries at the hold. Pac fights up, and he HIP TOSSES free! Konosuke hurries to tag Alexander, and Alexander CLOBBERS Pac!
Alexander also BLASTS Garcia and Moxley off the corner! Garcia is right back up but the ref pulls him back from going after Alexander! Alexander tags Clon, Clon stomps Pac, and Clon brings Pac up. Moxley tries to get in the ring, armed with a chair! The ref stops Moxley, but this just lets Clon & Konosuke mug Pac! Clon then whips Pac to CLOBBER him! Cover, TWO! Pac toughs it out but Clon drags him over. Clon tags Alexander, they mug Pac, then Alexander CLUBS Pac on the neck. Dynamite returns to single picture as Alexander stalks Pac. Alexander CLUBS Pac, Pac fires a body blow, and repeat.
The fans rally for Pac as he runs, but Alexander RAMS low! Then NORTHERN LIGHTS! Bridging cover, TWO! Pac survives but Alexander smirks as he taunts Moxley & Garcia. Alexander drags Pac up, whips him tot he corner, then taunts Moxley more. Alexander runs in, but Pac BOOTS him! Pac fires elbows on The Don Callis Family, then a flurry on Alexander! But Alexander fireman’s carries to ROLLING SENTON! Alexander goes up, up, and soaks up some heat before he leaps, only for Pac to dodge! The flying knee drop hits the mat! The fans fire up as Pac crawls for his corner! Hot tags to Konosuke and Moxley!
The fans erupt as Moxley and Konosuke fire forearms back and forth! They hit harder and harder, then Konosuke fires a flurry! Moxley slips around to SAIDO! Konosuke is right up! EXPLODER! Moxley’s right up, but Konosuke ROCKS him! ROLLING- FOREARM from Moxley! Moxley runs, and he SHOTGUNS Konosuke down! The fans fire up but here comes Alexander! Moxley TOSSES him right back out! Clon leaps, but into a CUTTER! The fans fire up as Moxley strikes like a Viper, but the ALPHA ELBOW hits! RAGING- NO, Moxley slips free! Garcia sneaks the tag, and Moxley LARIATS Konosuke down!
Garcia runs up and has the leg scissor takedown! Step through and DRAGON TAMER! Konosuke endures, but Moxley adds a CURB STOMP!! Cover, but Alexander breaks it! Alexander reels Garcia in but Pac BOOTS Alexander down! Clon DROPKICKS Pac out! Clon goes to the apron, ASAI MOONSAULT! The fans fire up as Moxley builds speed and DIVES onto everyone! They hit the desk and then the floor! Garcia has Konosuke’s legs again, but Konosuke makes it a cradle! TWO!! Garcia ducks ‘n’ dodges, but runs into BLUE THUNDER BOMB! Cover, TWO! The fans fire up as Konosuke takes aim!
Konosuke runs in from the corner, WAGAMAMA- NO, Garcia guzels Konosuke! Konosuke breaks free, so Garcia CHOPS him! And then leg scissor- NO, Konosuke turns that into a wheelbarrow, for the tuck and BASTARD DRIVER!! But then he wheelbarrows for the GERMAN SUPLEX! The fans are thunderous as Clon LARIATS and Alexander ROCKS Garcia! Then feed to a SUPERKICK! ROLLING ELBOW! WAGAMAMA KNEE!! Cover, TWO?!!? Garcia survives and the fans are going nuts! Konosuke drags Garcia up, RAGING FIRE!! Cover, Don Callis Family wins!

The Callis Family get even in the faction warfare, but clearly this is just one battle. Moxley tells Konosuke that it’ll be different when it’s for the title. Will The Maniac win when it matters most? Or will the Alpha take the Continental Championship back for The Family?
Backstage interview with Swerve Strickland.
Renee Paquette is with The Realest, as well as Prince Nana, and brings up the unfortunate loss last week to Andrade El Idolo. That loss eliminates Swerve from the world title picture for now, so where will he shift his focus to next? Swerve chuckles and pats Nana on the shoulder. Nana steps up to say that their focus is right where it’s always been, and that’s at the top of AEW. Just because they lost one match doesn’t mean they lose focus. They ain’t going nowhere! Swerve & Nana head out, but then who will they be aiming at after Grand Slam: Australia?
Mixed Tag: Toni Storm & Orange Cassidy VS Jordan Oasis & Brittnie Brooks!
Tensions were already high between Conglomeration and Death Riders, and being attacked by The Decoder & The Problem threw gasoline on the fire! A Mixed Tag Hair VS Hair match awaits us all in Australia, and we’ve already seen great chemistry between The TIMELESS & The Freshly Squeezed. Will Toni & “Citrus Boy” turn up the heat? Or will they get caught overlooking their opponents tonight?
The teams sort out and while the fans cheer Toni, Orange steps to Oasis. The two circle, and Oasis says hold on. First shot’s free! Oasis sticks his chin out, Cassidy winds up, and “chops!” The fans cheer that, and then Cassidy says same deal in return. He puts his hands in his pockets! Oasis says okay, okay, and he winds up. Oasis swings, but Cassidy dodges! And SHOTGUNS! Cassidy kips up, the fans fire up, but Oasis runs back in! Cassidy slips around, cravats, and hits a flying-mare! Cassidy then sits Oasis up, and polishes the bald head. The fans chant, “BALD! BALD! BALD!” Cassidy backs up, tags in Toni, so here comes Brittnie!
Brittnie dodges Toni, and says she is the Center of Attention! The fans boo, but then Toni fires Mongolian Chops! Toni THRASHES Brittnie around by her hair, then TOSSES her! The fans cheer, and Toni runs up to slip around, GERMAN SUPLEX! Brittnie flounders, Oasis tags in, so Cassidy steps in. Cassidy helps Toni dodge Oasis, and then they HIP ATTACK their opponents! Toni & Cassidy dosido, then they HIP ATTACK again! Dosido, then the other way, then a spin and tango! Cassidy spins Toni out so she can BACKHAND Oasis! Then a SPLASH for Brittnie! Toni goes up, reels Brittnie in, and TORNADO DDTS!
The fans cheer as Cassidy ducks ‘n’ dodges Oasis to then tilt-o-whirl DDT! The fans cheer as Toin then hikes up the romper! SWEET HIP MUSIC! Then a feed to the ORANGE PUNCH! Cover, Toni & Cassidy win!

Luther attends to Miss Toni, and Cassidy gets the mic. “Hey, hey, hey. I, uh… I don’t know if this is a good idea. I like my hair.” Toni says, “Why did I mask this match? My hair is my livelihood! And without it, I’m gonna look like a boiled egg! I’m gonna look like an angry p*nis! I can’t be bald! I’ll look hideous! I’ll look grotesque! I’ll look disgusting…!” The fans feel bad cuz Luther is catching strays off that. Luther covers Toni with her robe, but then Toni stands up to say she is TIMELESS Toni Storm! And this is Freshly Squeezed, Orange Cassidy! And it’s not going down like that!
At Grand Slam: Australia, one of two things will happen. Cassidy will give Wheeler Yuta a cute lil’ combover, or Toni will make Marina look like MOXLEY! The fans cheer that! Will Marina & Yuta be able to survive the #OrangeStorm that’s coming for them Down Under?
Darby Allin skates through Las Vegas.
But then he has to watch out as CLARK CONNORS pulls his car up in front of him! Darby says fine, let’s go! But it’s GABE KIDD who CLOBBERS Darby! Gabe says Darby’s a hard man to find, they’ve been looking for him all day! And he scoops Darby to then LAWN DART him into the AEW production truck! He SPITS at the picture of Darby on the truck, then Connors brings out Wheel-san! Connors CLOBBERS Darby with that tire! Talk about road rage! Gabe then drags Darby up to shove him in the trunk! Then they drive off, having abducted him! What more will these War Dogs do to the Relentless One?

While Kenny Omega and Andrade El Idolo battle later, The Millennial Cowboy still has to earn his way back to the world title. The Don Callis Family has chosen Dunkzilla, but will he make Hangman close his eyes and count to three? Or will Davis just be an appetizer for Hangman on the road to Grand Slam?
The bell rings and Davis SHOTGUNS Hangman into a corner! The fans boo as Davis ROCKS and CHOPS Hangman, CHOPS again, then CHOPS again! Davis roars, but Hangman fires a flurry of forearms in return! Davis scoops and SLAMS Hangman, then runs, but the senton flops! Hangman runs to SLIDING LARIAT! Hangman handsprings then basement DROPKICKS and the fans fire up! The fans rally for “COWBOY SH*T!” and Hangman CHOPS Davis! Davis snarls, CHOPS back, but Hangman CHOPS again! They CHOP back and forth, the fans “WOO~” every time. Hangman whips Davis but Davis reverses to CHOP Hangman!
Davis drags Hangman up to CHOP him back down, then holds onto that wristlock. Davis drags Hangman up again, but Hangman ducks the chop to waistlock! Davis ELBOWS free, runs up, but Hangman DUMPS him out! Davis stumbles and Hangman PLANCHAS! Down goes Davis and the fans fire up! Hangman walks it off, drags Davis up, but Davis TOSSES Hangman at the ropes! Hangman rebounds to LARIAT Davis! Hangman puts Davis in the ring, then hurries to haul him up. But Davis suplexes first! The fans boo, but Davis stalks Hangman to the corner. Davis fires off haymakers, then he runs up to LARIAT!
Hangman sputters and flops to the apron while the fans boo Davis. Davis goes out the side, lines up the shot, and he runs in at Hangman again, to BACK BODY BLOCK him against barriers! The fans boo again but Davis just soaks up the heat while Dynamite goes picture in picture.
Hangman sputters while Davis stands over him. Davis drags Hangman up, POSTS him, then stalks him around the way. Davis throws Hangman into the ring, then storms his way up the steps. Hangman goes to a corner but Davis is right on him. Davis digs his boots in, then stands on Hangman! The ref counts, Davis steps off at 4, and Davis soaks up more heat. Hangman rises to fire forearms! Hangman runs, but Davis ELBOWS him down! Davis snarls and he pushes Hangman down to SENTON! Kneeling cover, ONE!! Hangman is tougher than that, but Davis clamps on for a chinlock. Hangman endures as Davis grinds him down.
Hangman fights around, fights up, and he fires body shots! Hangman ROCKS Davis, but Davis THROWS him down by his hair! The ref reprimands but Davis just ignores him to stalk Hangman to a corner. Davis brings Hangman around, reels him in, and suplexes high and hard! Cover, TWO! Davis stalks Hangman, and ROCKS him with a forearm. Then he runs up to ROCK Hangman again! The ref reprimands but Davis ROCKS Hangman again! Davis then winds up, runs side to side, and Dynamite returns to single picture for the SLIDING FOREARM! Davis covers, TWO! Hangman toughs it out but Davis stays on him.
Davis stands Hangman up and hoists him to the top rope. Davis climbs up, fires hands, but Hangman fires body shots in return! Hangman BITES Davis’ face! The ref counts, Hangman stops at 4, and Hangman SUPER SUNSET FLIP- NO, Davis holds onto ropes! Davis rains down fists, but Hangman slips free to YANK Davis into a BOMB! Cover, TWO! Davis survives but the fans rally for “COWBOY SH*T!” Hangman sees Davis go to the apron, and he runs to triangle jump LARIAT! Davis stays up!? Hangman triangle jump LARIATS again! Davis wobbles but stays on the apron, so Hangman lines up anothe rshot.
Hangman tells commentary to move aside! SUNSET FLIP- NO, Davis holds onto the ropes again! And he HIP DROPS Hangman on the apron! Hangman staggers and sputters away to the railing. Davis runs in, but Hangman moves! Davis CRASHES into railing! Hangman pushes Davis down, then he goes up to the upper deck! ARIHARA MOONSAULT! Down goes Davis and Hangman puts him in the ring! The fans fire up as Hangman climbs up again, MOONSAULT in the ring! Cover, TWO!! Davis survives Hangman doubling down but the fans are fired up! Hangman rises, he Alabama Lifts, but Davis is too big for that!
Davis fires some Kawada Kicks, then hits a BIG back suplex! Davis reels Hangman in, Canadian RACK, Hangman RANAS! Cover, TWO!! Davis survives, but Hangman dodges to ROLLING ELBOW! And ROLLING- ENZIGIRI from Davis! Davis hits the rebound, then the LARIAT! Davis brings Hangman up again, GUT WRENCH DRIVER!! Cover, TWO!! Hangman survives and the fans fire up again! Davis snarls and he looms over Hangman again. Davis stands Hangman up, hits another rebound, but Hangman LARIATS first! Davis LARIATS again! The fans boo as Davis now has Hangman by the legs. COUNT TO- NO, Hangman lands out!
Hangman Alabama Lifts for the DEADEYE! Cover, TWO!! Davis survives but the fans rally even harder for Hangman! Hangman goes to the apron, takes aim, and he slingshots for the BUCK- NO, Davis sidesteps! Hangman goes out, but he skins the cat! Davis gets under Hangman, but Hangman fights his way back to the apron, and he uses that to gut wrench Davis! TOMEBSTONE on the ramp!! Davis sputters back into the ring and the fans fire up! Hangman reloads, slingshots, and BUCKSHOT!! Cover, Hangman wins!
Winner: Hangman Page, by pinfall (advances to Grand Slam: Australia)
The Don Callis Family tried to put a roadblock in his way, but Hangman just ran right through it! Hangman grabs the mic to have them cut his music, and he tells us all, “Next week, I pack my bags, I pack this (trios) championship, and I head to Australia for a #1 contender match for a shot at the WORLD Championship! And Kenny Omega… Kenny, my friend, I hope that I see you there.” The fans cheer that, and Hangman tells M J F… “Max, if I win that match, at Revolution, I will stomp every last future child out of your tiny little balls and take back the world championship that I never should’ve lost!” The fans cheer that!
But will The Cowboy be the one riding into Los Angeles? And who will he even be facing Down Under? We’ll find that out in mere moments!
#1 Contender’s Stakes: Kenny Omega VS Andrade El Idolo!
With Hangman now waiting in the wings, it all comes down to The Cleaner and La Sombra settling a score from months ago. Will Kenny remind us that he is The Best Bout Machine? Or is Andrade about to make everything tranquilo?
Callis of course joins commentary, Lance Archer on standby. The bell rings and the fans cheer Kenny on. Andrade therefore bails out and talks last minute game plans with Callis. Callis says Andrade is feeling muy bueno, but Vegas cusses Callis out just because he’s here. Andrade returns to the ring to circle with Kenny, and they feel things out. They tie up, are in a deadlock, so they break. Kenny and Andrade egg each other on, then Kenny CHOPS! Andrade CHOPS, Kenny CHOPS again, and Andrade throws off his shirt! The fans fire up again as the CHOPS keep going! The “WOO~” echoes out with each CHOP, but then Andrade pokes Kenny in the eye!
The fans boo and the ref reprimands but Andrade runs, into a V-TRIGGER! The fans fire up as Andrade tumbles out. Kenny aims to PLANCHA, and down goes Andrade! The fans fire up and Kenny high-fives the front row. Kenny drags Andrade up, Electric Chair Lifts, but Andrade slips free! Andrade back suplexes but Kenny lands out! Kenny kicks low, reels Andrade in, but Andrade fights the suplex! Andrade suplexes Kenny to the floor! The fans rally up again while both men writhe. Callis says what used to make Kenny special was explosivity, going from zero to 60, but he hasn’t seen that until more recently.
Andrade stands Kenny up, puts him against railing, and CHOPS! Andrade puts Kenny in the ring, storms up the steps and to the apron, then he goes up the corner. But Kenny trips Andrade up! Kenny fires haymakers on Andrade but Andrade hits back! The fans rally, Kenny fires up, and Kenny climbs up! Kenny brings Andrade up but Andrade blocks the suplex! Andrade fires body shots but Kenny CLUBS Andrade! And CLUBS him again and again! Then HEADBUTTS! Kenny HEADBUTTS again, then CHOPS Andrade! And ROCKS him! “You said you were easy to find. I know.” They unzip the bag to confirm that it is Darby Allin all tied up with duct tap! Gabe tells Darby they’ll see him in Hell! They’re just two doors down. Connors zips things back up, and they cut the rope so that Darby is left out in the middle of nowhere! Will Darby even make it back to civilization?

The Scumbag snatched this title at World’s End, then survived his showdown with The Outlaw, Bandido. MJF showed Bandido respect, only to flush that down the toilet by trying to sideline him! Now he has incurred the wrath of the King of Death! Will MJF find a way to escape in one piece? Or is the Devil about to die in Sin City?
The introductions are raised for that big fight feel, MJF’s banner unfurls with his introduction, and he says this is the most important title, meant only for the most important man in this sport. #TripleB is put aside and the bell rings. The fans fire up behind Brody, and MJF gets a bit worried with all the barking. Brody and MJF step up, but then HANGMAN makes his way out here? MJF is pissed already and asks what Seabiscuit even wants. Brody sneaks up behind MJF, and grabs him in the SLEEPER! Brody has MJF dangling off the apron!! Brody DROPS MJF, then goes out to drag him back in! The fans fire up as MJF sputters in the corner!

My Thoughts:
A great Dynamite, they really stacked this card, and they really built up Grand Slam: Australia with it. Now, obviously Hangman was going to stay in the running for #1 contender, but he got a great match out of Davis. And then we got an awesome match from Kenny VS Andrade. I almost thought Hangman gave it away in his promo that Kenny would win, but then surprise! Andrade wins thanks to Don Callis and even Swerve. Swerve VS Kenny should definitely happen, maybe a promo on Collision sets that up for Revolution. Hangman VS Andrade is going to be great stuff, and honestly could go either way.
MJF VS Brody being that quick was hilarious and awesome, and I feel like they called an audible. Dynamite has been abusing the overrun privilege a little too much, and I think they knew that. Hangman distracting MJF right at the start for Brody to get that opening is a great way to do this, and MJF VS Brody for the title will be a great part of Grand Slam. Now granted, I don’t see Brody winning there because MJF can just cheat his way out of losing, but it would be something if MJF’s promise of an even longer second reign is ruined. MJF VS Hangman is just too good of a rematch to leave out of this, and that’d definitely main event Revolution.
Great tag title eliminator from Babes of Wrath VS #MEGABAD, and part of me is a touch surprised MEGABAD won. At the same time, I figured Willow & Harley would have a title defense in Australia, and Harley winning in front of family and friends can be a great way to get their win back. Kris had a good promo to hype up her rematch with Thekla, and she’s got quite a few different choices out there for stipulation. But if we’re doing a rematch with a No Disqualification based stipulation, wouldn’t that just let Sisters of Sin interfere and help Thekla win? But then that’d motivate Babes of Wrath countering… Feels like an interesting way to get us to the first All-Women’s Anarchy in the Arena or Stadium Stampede, whichever it’d be for Revolution.
Very fun Mixed Tag, and great to see Jordan Oasis somewhere after leaving WWE ID/Evolve. Cassidy and Toni momentarily regretting making the Hair VS Hair match is really clever, and Luther was catching some strays from Toni’s lament over baldness. Great match from Ricochet VS Jack, but what the what, TK? Does TK just roll dice deciding some of this stuff? Why give Jack a rematch just to have him lose again? You can still give us GOA VS Young Bucks and this Triple Threat Tag #1 Contenders match while putting that National title on Jack. Then that forces a tiebreaker for Revolution which can be a show stealing level match.
Very good promo from Ciampa to introduce us to “Silvey,” and a Triple Threat with Roddy and Claudio definitely feels like Ciampa can just take advantage of Roddy and Claudio hating each other. They clearly wanna save Kyle Fletcher VS Tommaso Ciampa for like Grand Slam or Revolution. Great Six Man Tag from Death Riders VS Don Callis Family, and Garcia looked great even in taking the loss for the team. Moxley VS Konosuke for the Continental title is going to be awesome, a show stealer even. As I said before, Konosuke could win that title, and then he and Okada feud in a way to recreate the Unified Championship. Maybe.
And good stuff with Gabe & Connors going after Darby. Them abducting and dragging Darby was good revenge for Darby doing that to Gabe, but this feud of Darby and Gabe just isn’t as hot as it would’ve been months ago. Gabe going back and forth between AEW and NJPW kinda hurt that, but Gabe has talked about being so dedicated to NJPW that I don’t see him moving on from there for a long time. I just hope Gabe and Darby finish this up with Revolution and then Gabe is full time back in NJPW for New Japan Cup, G1 Climax and so on.
