QUICK NOTES

Firstly, yes, that is THE Crowbar of ECW and WCW fame facing The Bad Boy, so that’s pretty cool. The big 8 Man Tag specifically has Private Party, The Butcher & The Blade for the HFO, that should be a really wild one. And Ruby is surely getting momentum going into the TBS Championship tournament, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Emi Sakura was still in it in a different first round match-up. Maybe against Tay Conti, who would also be a great choice for the tournament.

AFTER WATCHING

Since when did FTR have an 80’s retro beat? Why do they have that theme? I’d much rather have their tougher rock theme. Really good match with LSG & Moriarty, though. The Bad Boy has a pretty great Heel promo running down Philly, and he has a really good match with Crowbar, that also brought out another surprise in The Blue Meanie. Sonny Kiss tries to get revenge but that wasn’t going to work with Kayla watching Joey’s back, and then she hits a great corkscrew moonsault from the top. Great shoot moment from Crowbar and Meanie to give AEW the props it does deserve, too.

It was interesting to see a mishmash of Nightmare Family and Best Friends taking on The HFO, but it was a wild match like I figured. HFO gets the win to rebound from losing to Best Friends and Orange Cassidy a lot, and I really hope their next feud is with the Dark Order. The Dark Order literally has the numbers to match the HFO, we could get multiple 2v2 tag matches all over a single episode of Elevation or even Rampage.
