Does the Universal Studios Arena become a warzone?

The Pinnacle has slowly climbed back up, and Wardlow is back in action! Will Mr. Mayhem prove he’s still a force to be reckoned with in AEW?

QUICK NOTES

This week was only four matches and only 22 minutes, but I think that’s because they’re between taping sessions. Also there’s going to be bonus Dark and Dark: Elevation for the Wednesdays that AEW Dynamite is bumped to Saturdays, so they don’t have to go as hard to make a weeklong stretch of programming. That said, still decent stuff out of this episode. Naturally Dean, King, Uno and of course Wardlow were winning, keeping them all strong in singles action.

The only real surprise was that Wardlow wasn’t the main event, and that he didn’t just squash Bengston right out the gate. Bengston got to put up a fight with his agility, but of course Wardlow still brutalizes him. Too bad he didn’t get to challenge Miro for the TNT Championship, but I guess AEW doesn’t want to have Wardlow lose outside of a major story beat. As for Greene VS Uno, that was great stuff, naturally they got to have the main event spot, and Greene got to really show his stuff that WWE’s Nick Khan stupidly cut.
