QUICK EFFECTS

Well, I do like that we’re seeing Feroz and Miller teaming up. I feel like that should’ve been the combo that jobbed to Indi & Persia before they got in on the women’s tag title match. And I’m pretty sure Duke and Quinn win.

AFTER WATCHING

Ladies first makes some sense, Feroz and Miller made a good combo and I like that Cortez & Leon made an entrance together like a true tag team. This was Leon’s debut but she was already pretty smooth. They filled time by replaying the Duke’s Poker Room sketch, but as I figured, Hudson wins. Malik still gives him a good match, but it’s not like Hudson’s poker gimmick plays a role in his match. It’s all so he has a theme for his promos, catchphrases and maybe even signature move names. They should’ve just left him as “The Smug” Duke Hudson because he can always show smugness. Or, they could’ve gone more expansive and called him “The Gambler” because then he can be “risky” with his moves and come out the winner anyway.

Oh and yeah, Quinn wins. I do like there was the handshake of respect between him and Rama, they gave us a really good match and it was definitely Quinn’s toughest challenge, which is in turn good for him. Quinn has quite a bit that could make him a star, we just need to see him show more grit in toughing things out, and then maybe move of those gentleman fighter promos. They started that and need to keep it going or people will forget who he’s even supposed to be.
