And he gives an introduction to the hometown hero, Dante Martin! Fans are fired up to see Angelo Dorado again after the big week he’s had from Dynamite to last night on Rampage. Schiavone notes that Lio Rush is not present because of the tragic death of Lio’s grandmother, but he also brings up Team Taz offering Dante a contract. Team Taz is up in the luxury box watching as Dante gets a mic. But before he can speak on the offer, The Acclaimed walks out! And of course Max Caster has a rap! “Hey yo, Dante, join The Acclaimed. All these other teams, man, they should be ashamed. Lio Rush can’t hang in this environment. He’s about to go into his 15th retirement.
“And Team Taz ain’t got no plus. Only guys on TV less than us! So hang with us if you want to be down. You’re the only good thing from this depressing ass town.” Anthony Bowens gets the mic to tell Minneapolis that The Acclaimed have arrived! But then they cut the music, and he says Dante has a lot on his mind. Fans tell them to STFU but Bowens will not! He’s got a lot to say so you shut up! Who to align with? Matt Sydal? Lio Rush? Team Taz? The Acclaimed want Dante to join them! They’d be the hottest team in ALL of professional wrestling. But to make themselves clear, you’re either with them or against them. So what’s it gonna be, buddy?
Dante hears “NO! NO! NO!” from Minneapolis, but Bowens reiterates. They don’t have the patients like the clowns do. Give them an answer or they break Dante’s legs and send him home crying like his brother. Yes or no? Dante asks, “What do you think Minneapolis?” “NO!” Dante DECKS Bowens! And then he DECKS Caster! The Acclaimed regroup, Dante runs, jumps to the rope and springboards to wipe The Acclaimed out! That checks off one choice, but what about the others? Who will Angel Dorado bring along on the Top Flight?

TBS Championship Tournament entries join forces to take on their future opponents! Hayter’s gonna hate facing La Mera Mera but the Native Beast is hungry to sink her teeth into the Full Metal Warrior once again. Which side gets big momentum towards the tournament quarterfinals?
Tensions already run high as all four women get in the ring. The ref gets the teams to sort out, and Rosa starts with Nyla. Rosa throws her hair piece at Hayter, Hayter stomps it on the apron. Nyla and Rosa feel things out, Nyla kicks low then headlocks. Rosa pulls hair, powers out, but Nyla runs her over. Fans chant for “Eddie! Eddie!” with Vickie here, but things speed up in the ring. Rosa jumps but into a fireman’s carry! Nyla slips under to tilt-o-whirl and sunset flip! TWO, Rosa wheelbarrows and gets around to sunset flip again, TWO! Basement dropkick! Fans fire up and Rosa tags Shida in. They double whip Nyla to ropes but she reverses to yank them into each other.
But Shida picks Rosa up and Rosa gives an assisted dropkick to Nyla! Nyla goes to the corner, Shida whips Rosa in for a KNEE, then adds a KNEE of her own! Shida goes up and fans fire up as she rains down fists! They count all the way to 10, then Shida dropkicks! Tag to Rosa, Rosa throws body shots, but Nyla hits back. Rosa kicks, goes to suplex but Nyla’s big and strong. Shida tries to help out but Nyla DOUBLE SUPLEXES them! Then DOUBLE DROPKICKS them down! Tag to Hayter, she and Nyla mug Rosa, and Hayter bumps Rosa off buckles. Hayter stomps away on Shida, lets off to argue with the ref, and Nyla chokes Rosa! Fans boo but Nyla laughs it up as she gets away with it.
Hayter kicks Rosa at the ropes, brings her around and bumps her off buckles. Hayter chokes Rosa, Rosa kicks her away but Hayter throws haymakers and CHOPS! Vickie likes that and Hayter CHOPS again. Rosa turns Hayter around to CHOP and CHOP and CHOP! Vickie doesn’t like that! Hayter turns things around, stomps Rosa down, then soaks up the heat. Hayter drags Rosa up to knee low, whip to the corner, then run in. Rosa goes up, Hayter posts herself! Hot tag to Shida! Shida rallies on Hayter and Nyla, then goes up to missile dropkick Hayter down! Shida gets Hayter up but Hayter slips out of the Canadian rack, only for Shida to ROUNDHOUSE!
Shida runs but Nyla holds ropes open! Shida tumbles out, Nyla says she’ll “help” her up, and she LARIATS Shida down! Hayter and Nyla stomp Shida, Vickie cackles, and Nyla puts Shida in the ring. Cover, TWO! Fans rally for Shida, Nyla drags her up to a neck wrench. Nyla throws down elbows over and over while fans rally harder. Nyla hits a NECK SNAPPER, then knees low. Tag to Hayter, they mug Shida, then Hayter kicks Shida around. Hayter drags Shida up, Shida throws forearms! Shida runs but Hayter throws her by her hair! Hayter stomps, covers, TWO! Shida growls, Hayter pushes her to another cover, TWO!
Hayter hammers and stomps Shida but fans rally up. Hayter wraps on a chinlock and leans on the hold. Shida moves around, reaches out, but Nyla kicks at the foot on the ropes. Shida swipes at Nyla, Hayter stomps Shida down! Hayter digs her boots in, then again argues with the ref so Nyla can claw at Shida’s face! AND BITE HER FOREHEAD! Rosa protests, Nyla gets away with it all, then Hayter tags Nyla in. Nyla suplexes high and hard, then pie faces Rosa. Nyla clubs and hammers Shida down then tags in Hayter. They mug Shida, and hit a double CHOKE SLAM! Cover, TWO! Shida is still in this but Hayter CLUBS her down.
Hayter CHOKES Shida, lets off, chokes her again, then rains down forearms. Fans rally up for Shida and Shida blocks a suplex! Shida throws body shots then suplexes Hayter high and hard! Shida runs but Hayter catches her for an URENAGE BACKBREAKER! Cover, Rosa breaks it! Hayter shoves Rosa, then drags Shida up to a waistlock. Shida fights with elbows, Hayter ripcords but Shida boots, AX KICKS and reaches out! But Hayter GERMAN SUPLEXES Shida away! Both women are down but the fans fire up! Shida and Hayter crawl, hot tags to Nyla and Rosa! Rosa dodges to fire off forearms on Nyla! Then she rolls and A-LIST LARIATS!
Nyla is down, SWINGING KNEES from Rosa! SHOTGUN to Hayter! Rosa runs in at Nyla, HESITATION DROPKICK! Rosa fires up to ROCK Hayter, then cover Nyla! Hayter breaks it in time! Shida gets in to TAMASHI Hayter down! Fans fire up, Rosa tags Shida, they both DROPKICK Nyla and Hayter at the ropes! Fans fire up as both women climb, SUPER CROSSBODIES for Nyla and Hayter!! But Serena Deeb is in the front row to talk trash to Shida. And Vickie SMACKS Shida with her own kendo stick! The ref missed it all checking on Rosa and Hayter! Nyla puts Shida in, drags her up, bumps her off buckles, and then hoists her up top.
Nyla tags Hayter in, Hayter goes up and then Nyla tags back in. Nyla goes to an adjacent corner, Hayter hits a SUPERPLEX! Nyla hits a FROG SPLASH!! Cover, Rosa DROPKICKS it apart! Hayter runs in but Rosa throws her back out, and they both take a tumble! Rosa RAMS Hayter into railing! Nyla drags Shida up as Vickie shrieks! BEAST- NO! Shida RANAS Nyla into buckles, schoolgirl to jackknife, Shida & Rosa win!!

Last night on Rampage, the Lumberjack match, Blade knocked out Cassidy with the knuckles and Hardy got the win. But the feud is far from over as Tony Khan has made for Dynamite, The Butcher & The Blade VS Orange Cassidy and a partner of his choosing. Yes. Cassidy could choose a friend but they’ve all been working hard so he’ll give them a night off. But uh, the Best Friends just joined this little group called Chaos. Cassidy asked Chuckie T who is in that group, and they thought, maybe they’ll bring one of their dogs. Is the match-up between Big Money Matt’s mercenaries and Freshly Squeezed set in stone?
Darby Allin VS MJF!
The Relentless One and the Salt of the Earth have been named two of the Four Young Pillars of AEW, by MJF himself. But in a sense, he’s not wrong. However, “the man who can beat Darby Allin with a headlock takeover” might be wrong about being able to break Darby in body, mind and spirit. Will that break Maxwell Jacob Friedman in return? Or is MJF better than Darby, and he knows it?
Darby has a new video for us. He drives in a white sedan with insults graffiti’d all over it. He picks up fake MJF, they drive around, get in a car accident, but Darby survives it. Darby then uses a Molotov cocktail to set the car on fire! As for Darby’s entrance, he once again has Sting by his side, simply to see him out. The bell rings, they tie up, MJF pie faces then rope-a-dopes. They tie up, and MJF hits a headlock takeover! Cover, ONE, but MJF gets another headlock takeover! Cover, ONE, and MJF gets a third headlock takeover! Cover, ONE, and Darby pie faces MJF now! Darby knows MJF is trying to back up his word but won’t let it be that easy.
They tie up, MJF waistlocks, Darby switches, MJF switches but Darby drop toeholds to get a headlock! MJF slips out and wrenches but Darby rolls to wrench back. MJF rolls, wrenches back, headlocks, but Darby powers out. MJF runs Darby over, fans boo but things speed up. Darby hurdles, runs, but MJF hurdles. Darby shoves MJF, MJF whips Darby but Darby blocks the hip toss to monkey flip, only for MJF to cartwheel through. MJF gloats but Darby whips. MJF reverses but Darby goes up to FLYING ARM-DRAG! MJF drop steps, double knuckle locks and backs Darby down to monkey flip Darby! They’re both down for a double cover, TWO as they bring up one arm.
Another double cover as they rest, TWO as they bring the other arms up. Another double cover, TWO as they both bridge! MJF trips Darby up, rolls back to get the cover, TWO as Darby gets an arm up. MJF pushes that arm down, TWO as the other arm comes up! MJF pushes that arm down, Darby bridges! Then catches MJF for a push up and RANA! Cover, TWO as MJF sunset flips! TWO, and Darby goes for the double knuckle lock cover! TWO, MJF goes to monkey flip again but Darby lands on his feet! And ducks under the blindside! MJF goes up and over, runs the ropes but Darby QUEBRADAS over! Darby arm-drags MJF, MJF arm-drags back, both men handspring up!
Fans are loving this exchange as the two reset! MJF snarls, perhaps learning that Darby is just as technical as him. Darby and MJF circle, tie up, MJF powers Darby back but Darby turns it around in a corner. The ref counts, MJF gets a sucker punch! MJF “apologizes” for that but he drags Darby up to throw him out. MJF goes out after him and CLOBBERS him on the ropes! MJF Fargo struts around, then he goes back to Darby to put him in the ring. “You love it, fat boy! You love it!” But Darby comes back to DIVE! Direct hit and down goes MJF! Darby drags MJF up to RAM him into steel steps! Darby puts MJF back in as fans are fired up and dueling.
Darby CLUBS away on MJF on the apron, then stands on MJF’s neck! The ref counts, Darby steps off, then climbs up the corner. APRON COFFIN DROP only gets apron as MJF moves! Minneapolis loses their minds as Darby crashes ‘n’ burns! MJF gets Darby back in the ring, drops an elbow to Darby’s back, then has a smirk as he covers. TWO, but MJF sits Darby up. MJF jams his knee into Darby’s back and pulls on the arms for a motorcycle stretch. Fans rally, Darby endures, fights up, turns things around, but MJF turns it right back! Darby drops to kangaroo kick! Darby runs, MJF tilt-o-whirls into a TORTURE RACK BACKBREAKER! Cover, TWO!
Darby writhes but he crawls to a corner. MJF smirks as he storms over and drags Darby up. MJF whips Darby corner to corner hard! Fans boo but MJF just soaks it up. MJF drags Darby back up, whips him corner to corner again and just as hard. MJF soaks up the heat, then he drags Darby up and wrenches before he goes corner to corner again, Darby reverses and now MJF hits hard! Darby staggers up, runs in and back body blocks, but into a waistlock! Darby fights out, but MJF scoops for a BACKBREAKER, then to a POWERSLAM! Cover, TWO! MJF drags Darby up, back suplexes to a BACKBREAKER! MJF checks his knee but insists he’s fine.
MJF goes back to Darby, stomps him, drags him back up, and CLUBS him in the corner. MJF BITES Darby’s forehead! The ref reprimands, MJF stops then puts Darby up top. MJF climbs up and soaks up the heat, but Darby resists the suplex! Darby BITES MJF’s head! MJF turns around, Darby climbs up, but MJF counters the throwback! But Darby fights out of the tombstone to hit the SUPER THROWBACK STUNNER! Both men are down and fans fire up again! A standing count starts, reaches 5 of 10 before either sits up, but MJF and Darby rise at 6. MJF SLAPS, Darby SLAPS, MJF choke grips but Darby HEADBUTTS!
Darby drags MJF to a drop zone and goes up top! But MJF slowly rolls all the way away. Darby runs in but MJF hits a headlock takeover! Cover, TWO! Darby fights up, powers out, things speed up, Darby jumps but gets caught! POWERBREAKER! Cover, TWO! Darby survives and MJF grows frustrated, but “This is Awesome!” to the fans. MJF kicks Darby but Darby sits up. MJF throws a big left and Darby falls back, only to sit back up! MJF DECKS Darby again, Darby rises again! Darby slaps himself and eggs MJF on with middle fingers. MJF grabs the hands to BITE those fingers! Then he flips Darby around, Darby headbutts, fires off forearms and haymakers!
Darby powers up like the People’s Champion, but MJF pokes him in the eye! MJF smirks, runs, but Darby dropkicks a leg out! Darby keeps moving, hops on, but no Code Red, MJF makes it a wicked POWERBOMB!! High stack, TWO!! Darby survives again but MJF gets the legs. MJF steps through to copy Sting, SCORPION DEATHLOCK! Darby endures, crawls around, MJF drags him from ropes, but Darby grabs a foot! Darby turns MJF around to club away on the leg! Darby trips MJF, steps through, but MJF kicks him away! MJF runs in but Darby dodges to CHOP BLOCK the good leg! MJF clutches his knees and fans rally up again!
MJF drags himself up, Darby runs in but into an elbow. MJF hops up the corner and DOUBLE STOMPS an arm! Darby clutches the elbow and wrist, but MJF clamps on. Darby fights off the takedown to whip MJF. MJF goes up and over but his legs buckle! Darby CHOP BLOCKS from the front! Darby rolls with the leg, and gets the FIGURE FOUR! MJF endures, is down, TWO as MJF sits back up! MJF drags himself and Darby around, reaches out, works to turn the hold, and does! Darby suffers now but he gets the ropebreak! The ref counts, the two separate but both end up on the apron. Darby and MJF both rise, and MJF throws a forearm!
Darby hits back, has the edge as he throws more forearms, then looks tot he floor. Darby brings MJF into position but MJF holds ropes to fight it. Darby gets space but MJF scoops him, APRON TOMBSTONE!?!? But it was double-edged for MJF’s knees! Fans are losing their minds, the ring count is climbing and it’s already 5 of 10! MJF clutches his knees as he sits up at 6, hobbles in at 7, but Darby is still down! Darby stirs at 8, rises at 9, and is in at 9.9!! Darby survives, but MJF is too focused on the pain in his knees to worry about that. MJF hobbles over, drags one leg along, and he drags Darby back up. MJF reels Darby in, suplexes, but Darby fights to make it a cradle! TWO!!
MJF gets to ropes, swings, Darby backslides, TWO! MJF cradles, TWO! Darby cradles, TWO! It’s a battle of cradles, TWO! TWO! They go around and around and around and around and fans are giving it a standing ovation! Wait, Darby has it last, TWO!! MJF hits a headlock takeover! Cover, TWO as Darby headscissors! MJF gets free, Darby runs in to give MJF a headlock takeover! Cover, TWO as MJF rolls it to a cover, TWO! Darby has the headlock takeover cover again, TWO! Darby floats to jackknife, TWO as MJF bridges up and turns! Lift, but Darby turns bomb into CODE RED! Cover, TWO?!? No one can believe this but everyone is loving it!
Fans chant for “A E DUB! A E DUB!” for giving us this as just the opener! Darby drags MJF back to a drop zone, goes up the corner, but isn’t that kinda far…? MJF bails out anyway, so Darby simply changes targets! SUPER COFFIN DROP to the floor!! Fans lose their minds all over again as Darby puts MJF back in. Darby goes back up, COFFIN DROP onto knees!! A double-edged move for MJF but it saved him in the end! Fans are thunderous as they rally and even duel during the standing count. But wait, here comes The Pinnacle! BUt Sting CLOBBERS Wardlow and Shawn Spears with the bat! The Icon ain’t letting them help MJF, and he even SMACKS Spears with his own chair!
Sting uses the bat on Wardlow while Darby O’Conner Rolls! TWO, MJF has it but with tights! TWO, SUPERKICK! MJF drops and clutches his knee but fans hope these two “Fight Forever!” Not really possible with the half hour time limit and the rest of the show having to happen. MJF hobbles out of the ring, over to the timekeeper’s area, and he gets Darby’s skateboard! The ref reprimands, but MJF still aims at Darby with the board! Wait, he sets it down and scoots it to Darby? He dares Darby to smash him open with the board?! MJF wants Darby to embrace the anger but throw the match! Darby aims, but hands the board to the ref. So MJF brings out the DIAMOND RING!
DYNAMITE DIAMOND PUNCH!! And then a headlock takeover!! Cover, MJF WINS!!

No wonder MJF kept fidgeting with his tights throughout this match! His ace in the hole was down there! MJF cheats to back up his words, but will there be no low this man won’t sink to? Will Darby let this underhanded tactic go unpunished?
AEW World Tag Team Championships: The Lucha Brothers VS FTR w/ Tully Blanchard!
Speaking of cheated, Rey Fenix & Penta El Zero Miedo were blatantly cheated out of their AAA Tag Team Championships by “Los Super Ranas,” aka Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood in costumes. But will FTR find a way to become DOUBLE champions here tonight? Or will the Lucha Brothers win this tag team war and prove what true champions are capable of?
The introductions are made, the AEW belts are raised, and we see if #CeroMiedo strikes fear into FTR’s hearts!
The teams don’t sort out and just brawl! Fenix is after Cash, Penta whips Dax to a corner. Fenix whips Cash into Dax, but FTR puts Fenix on the apron. Cash elbows Penta away then runs corner to corner, but Penta tosses him out! Penta and Dax stare down and now we have a real start to this. Fans chant, “CERO! MIEDO!” as Penta and Dax approach. Penta tells Dax to listen. CERO! MIEDO! Dax ROCKS Penta with a right, Penta give sit back! They brawl, CHOP, forearm, and CHOP! Dax headlocks, Penta powers out but Dax blocks the kick to roll up! TWO, Dax steps over to La Magistrol, TWO! Penta gets a rolling cradle, Cash breaks it!
Cash gets in, Fenix jumps in, and fans fire up as the four stand off! FTR bails out, the Lucha Brothers back off, and Fenix tags in. Fenix eggs FTR on and fans rally up. Dax talks it over with Cash then they tag. Cash and Fenix circle, fans fire up more, then Cash gets around to hit Fenix in the back. Cash uppercuts then CHOPS Fenix off his feet! Fenix gets up, wrenches, CHOPS, and goes to tag Penta. Cash whips but Fenix goes up, dodges Dax, FLYING ARM-DRAG! Penta KICKS Dax down, runs in to GAMANGIRI Cash, then Fenix adds a somersault SUPER PUNCH! But Dax gets Cash out of there before the superkicks!
Penta builds speed to fake FTR out, then comes back to baseball slide. FTR gets under it to RAM him into railing! But they turn around and Fenix PLANCHAS! They catch him to FALL AWAY SLAM Fenix into Penta! Cash gets in while Dax looms over Fenix. Dax puts Fenix in for Cash and Cash KICKS Fenix down. Cash stomps Fenix, chokes him on the ropes, claws at the mask, “Such a great mask!” Cash lets off, Fenix sputters and Dax tags in. Dax gets Fenix in a cobra twist, but he and Cash form a chain! Alex Abrahantes protests, FTR lets off but Fenix still endures the stretch. Dax ROCKS Fenix with an uppercut but runs into a BOOT! Fenix puts Dax in the corner for a SOBAT!
Fenix goes along ropes, Cash runs in but Fenix dodge! Cash’s dropkick hits ropes and he falls hard! Hot tag to Pent! SLINGBLADE for Dax! SLING-DOG for Cash! Dax kicks Penta, FTR double suplex but Fenix bails Penta out then sends Cash into Dax! Fenix waistlocks, Dax switches, Fenix runs to ropes and Penta GAMANGIRIS Dax down! Cash gets in but Fenix puts him up top! Fenix CHOPS Cash on the back and has him in a Tree of Woe, which also traps Dax in the corner! Fenix sets up, Penta runs in to MONKEY FLIP CANNONBALL FTR down! Fans fire up as they count UNO! DOS! TRES! DOUBLE SUPERKICKS! Cover on Dax, TWO!!
Penta is annoyed but fans rally up. Penta drags Dax by his leg, hooks that leg up, then SMASHES it into the mat! And again! Cash gets in but gets a mule kick from Penta! Fenix tilt-o-whirls around Cash, holds him in place, and Penta hooks up Cash’s legs with Dax? Penta then gets Dax, it’s a CROSSFACE OCTOPUS DEATHLOCK!! FTR endure this chimera of submission holds but the ref counts! Fenix lets Cash go and Penta lets Dax go but they’re still fired up. Penta stalks Dax to the corner, KICKS the leg, then climbs up to rain down fists! Penta counts it out in Spanish, and fans count alone all the way to ocho! Dax gets Penta up, Cash helps out, SUPER HOTSHOT! Cover, TWO!
FTR grows frustrated, Tully included. Dax dropkicks Penta against ropes, then swings on Fenix! Cash pulls Penta’s mask and ties the tails to the rope! Dax mocks Penta, the ref tries to untie it but Dax is stomping away! The ref frees Penta then has Dax back off. Dax tags Cash, FTR get Penta for a DOUBLE CATAPULT! Penta gets the rope guillotine, and Cash turns Cero Miedo into a middle finger. Fans rally, Cash gets Penta up to ROCK him with EuroUppers. Cash drags Penta over, tags Dax in, and Dax drops a leg! Cover, TWO! Dax wraps on a chinlock and leans on the hold. Penta endures, fans rally up, and Penta fights up to throw body shots.
Penta reaches out but Dax ROCKS Penta! Fenix avoids the cheap shot, Penta CLOBBERS Dax! Both men are down and fans rally up again. Cash runs in but Fenix ROUNDHOUSES him first! Dax gets Penta up, Penta fights the lift and back drops out! Cash returns, but he distracts the ref from seeing the tag! Dax gets Penta up, FTR double whip corner to corner. FTR survives by the seat of their pants on that one! Fans lose their minds while Fenix flops out and FTR goes out the other side. Abrahantes coaches the brothers while Tully checks on Cash & Dax.
Wait, one of them puts on a Los Super Rana mask? Penta hobbles over, Cash gets in, and trips Penta to cover! And he has feet on the ropes! The ref stops the count, and Cash argues! The bell rings and Bryan offers a handshake. Miro leaves him hanging and fans boo. The two circle, approach, feel things out, and then tie up. Miro shoves Bryan down and then soaks up the cheers and jeers while showing off the dancing pecs. Bryan gets up, resets with Miro and they tie up. Bryan KICKS a leg, Miro stays up. Bryan tries again, Miro blocks the kick and throws Bryan down, to then TOSS Bryan across the ring! Miro encourages fans to get louder and they do. Miro stares Bryan down, fans rally and duel. The two approach again, tie up with knuckle locks, Bryan drops to roll and wrench and EuroUpper! And CHOP!
Bryan headlocks, cravats, KNEES then CHOPS! Miro just scowls, so Bryan EuroUppers again. Bryan headlocks, cravats, throws more knees, more EuroUppers, then puts Miro in a corner. Miro storms about as we reach 5 of 10, he RAMS Bryan into steel steps! Miro goes in at 7, soaks up the heat, and Bryan is still down. The count restarts, Miro paces, Bryan gets up and in at 5. Miro drags Bryan up to suplex! Miro drags Bryan up again to hit another suplex! Cover, TWO! Miro clamps on with a chinlock and he grinds Bryan down. Fans rally up as Bryan endures. Bryan fights up, Miro puts him in a corner to fire off big hands and even big kicks! Miro stomps Bryan, digs his boot in, but the ref counts. Miro stops at 4, then drags Bryan up.
Miro whips Bryan corner to corner hard and Bryan falls to the mat. Miro again soaks up the heat by mocking the Yes Fingers. Bryan gets up, turns things around and KICKS, CHOPS and KICKS Miro on repeat! Miro shoves Bryan away but Bryan comes back with a dropkick! And then goes corner to corner for another! Bryan keeps moving, but runs into a SAMOAN DROP! Cover, TWO! Miro snarls as Bryan slowly sits up but the fans rally. Miro drags Bryan up, and POSTS him! Bryan falls to the floor, Miro goes out and starts looking under the ring. Miro waves his hands dismissively, he was perhaps just trolling the fans.
Miro gets Bryan up and bumps him off the apron. Then he scoops Bryan, only for Bryan to slip off and POST Miro in return! Bryan gets on the apron, runs and FLYING KNEES Miro down! Fans rally up and Bryan drags Miro up. Bryan puts Miro in the ring, climbs up the corner, and waits for Miro to stand. Bryan missile dropkicks Miro down! Miro flops all the way to the other corner, and Bryan kips up! Fans fire up with Bryan and he waits for Miro to crawl over. Miro sits up and Bryan KICKS! And KICKS! And KICKS! Miro just powers right out of that and Bryan clutches his head. Miro grabs Bryan’s waistband to keep him from going too far. Waistlock and another GERMAN SUPLEX! Bryan is down but Miro gets up. Miro hobbles over to where Bryan landed, and he reels Bryan in to back suplex. Bryan lands on his feet! BUZZSAW! Cover, TWO!! Bryan keeps on Miro with a facelock and drives in knees! Fans fire up with Bryan as he goes to the corner. Miro slowly stirs, Bryan has the “YES! YES!” fire up. Bryan aims as Miro rises, but Miro turns knee into POWERBOMB! Cover, TWO!! Bryan survives and Miro can’t believe it! Miro asks God for help then he fires up. Miro storms around, fans rally up, “GAAAME! OVAAAA~!” He stomps Bryan’s back and reels him in! But Bryan resists the camel clutch, one arm at a time! But Miro STILL gets him in!! Bryan endures, powers up, and gets the ROPEBREAK! Miro can’t believe it! Miro asks God why, but it was perhaps Miro’s bad leg that held him back.
Miro stomps Bryan again, gets the arms, stomps Bryan more, then wraps him in! GAME OVER but Bryan rolls it back! TWO, but to the omoplata! LEBELLE LOCK!! Miro is caught!! Miro reaches, Bryan shifts his grip, Miro pushes the hands around, powers up and CLOBBERS Bryan with forearms! Miro rains them down but Bryan catches him to a TRIANGLE HOLD!! Bryan rains down forearms and elbows into Miro’s head! Miro fights up and digs fingers into Bryan’s eyes! The ref reprimands and counts but Miro stops at 4. Miro goes to ropes while catching his breath. Fans rally and duel at a thunderous level. Bryan gets up to ROCK Miro with forearms and EuroUppers!
Miro scowls as Bryan throws more. Bryan ROLLING ELBOWS, Miro DECKS Bryan with a forearm! Miro dares Bryan to bring the kicks to his side. Bryan gets up to KICK! And KICK! And KICK! Miro just takes them to KICK Bryan down! Miro wants Bryan to keep going, so Bryan gets up to KICK and KICK and KICK! Miro KICKS again, then fireman’s carries Bryan to a corner. Miro climbs up the ropes, but Bryan rains down elbows! Bryan throws forearms but Miro throws haymakers! They brawl on the top of the corner, Miro gets the edge but Bryan turns it around on him! Adam Cole & The Young Bucks have been doing whatever they want to Captain Charisma, Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus, but now it all comes back around on them! Where will this trios match end when it can go anywhere in the Target Center?
The bell rings and the brawl is on! JB is after Matt Jackson, Luchasaurus has Nick and Christian goes after Cole. Cole turns things around to choke Christian, Matt turns things around on JB, but Luchasaurus whips Nick to a corner. Nick goes up and out, only for Luchasaurus to BOOT him down! Matt runs in but is put on the apron. Matt CLUBS Luchasaurus but JB trips Matt! JJB puts the Bucks together for Luchasaurus to MOONSAULT and take down! Cole BOOTS Christian down, and goes up the corner! But Christian avoids the sunrise to get the arms! Cole shoves Christian away but Christian elbows him. Christian puts Cole in the corner to rain down fists!
Cole slips out to SUPERKICK a leg out! JB gets in, waistlocks Cole but Cole switches. JB pries free, switches again, CHOPS and knuckle locks to go up and up and FLYING ARM-DRAG! Dropkick sends Cole out, but Nick CLUBS JB down! Nick gets JB up but JB CHOPS him! Knuckle lock, hurdle over Matt, then mule kick! JB knuckle locks Matt, kicks their legs, goes up and DOUBLE ARM-DRAGS! But the Bucks handspring through to DOUBLE CLOTHESLINE! But Luchasaurus slides in to break the line and DOUBLE CLOTHESLINE them back! Cole gets in with a chair and TOSSES it into Luchasaurus’ face! BOOT for Christian and Cole soaks up the heat!
But then JB gets in and they both see the chair. JB picks it up, Cole dodges the swing but JB dodges Cole. JB jumps over to TOSS the chair into Cole’s face! JB sets the chair up, brings Cole over, but the Bucks save Cole from whatever JB had planned. Cutler and Nakazawa set up a table?! The Bucks double whip but JB handsprings to DOUBLE ARM-DRAG! And take a seat in the chair! Fans fire up while JB relaxes for a moment. But then Cole runs in to SHINING WIZARD JB down! Cole puts the chair down and stands on it, “ADAM COLE-” INVERTED DDT ON THE CHAIR! Christian covers, TWO!
Nick clubs Christian to the corner, then fires off a SHINING WIZARD, ROUNDHOUSE, and BULLDOG! Matt gets in, he runs at Luchasaurus but into the boot and KNEE! Luchasaurus puts Nick in the corner for fast hands! Matt runs in but is thrown into his brother! Luchasaurus waistlocks, Matt resists the suplex but Matt waistlocks Nick! DOUBLE GERMAN SUPLEX! Cole gets in with a trash can and he SMASHES Luchasaurus in the head! JB gets in, gets around, GERMAN SUPLEX! And the can goes flying up the ramp! JB runs to DIVE and take Cole down! JB gets back in to DIVE again! Another hit at the ramp! JB keeps moving and he FLIES into the trash can!!
Christian WRECKS Nick with a dropkick into the can! Matt WRECKS Christian in return! Luchasaurus BOOTS through the can! Cover on the ramp, TWO! Luchasaurus snarls, checks on JB, then brings out a chair! Luchasaurus bangs it on the steps, stands it up ringside, Cole CLUBS him! Luchasaurus HEADBUTTS back! JB and Luchasaurus coordinate, TAIL WHIP FULL NELSON FACEBUSTER onto the chair! Luchasaurus then goes and gets a TABLE! Fans fire up as Jurassic Express set that up, and Christian brings out more chairs. JB makes sure the table is in a good spot, then he fetches Cole. Cole is busted open from that chair shot but JB POSTS him!
Cole already has a crimson mask as Christian drags Cole into the ring. Christian puts Cole’s head on the chair, and he wants Jungle Boy to have the honors! But Nick drags Christian out and Matt clobbers JB! Luchasaurus gets in, he brawls with Matt while Nick and Christian go to the stage. Luchasaurus DECKS Matt, Christian and Nick disappear backstage! Luchasaurus ROCKS Cole, CHOPS him in a corner, Cole crawls but Luchasaurus stalks him. Luchasaurus KICKS Cole in the corner, CHOPS him off his feet, then he stomps Matt down. JB recovers, Luchasaurus gets Cole up, fans are fired up. Luchasaurus gets Cole up in the crucifix, but Cole slips off to SUPERKICK!
JB SUPERKICKS Cole, Matt SUPERKICKS JB! Matt goes out to SUPERKICK Luchasaurus onto the table! Matt whips JB but JB swings, but no Comebacker! Matt whips, JB sees Cole, FLYING RANA and Cole crashes through the table!! Fans lose their minds, Matt goes up top, he MACHO ELBOWS Luchasaurus through the table!! Fans lose their minds even more as these four men are down! “This is Awesome!” but now we catch up with Christian and Nick in the upper concourse. Cutler sprays at Christian but Christian shields himself with Nick! And then he RAMS Cutler into the barriers! Christian does the same to Nick and Nakazawa!
Christian goes up the stairs, hops up onto the railing, and fans are fire up as he sees there’s somewhere even higher! Christian goes to the top of the entryway, to FALL onto Nick and the cronies! Cover, TWO!! Nick survives and fans lose their minds again! Nick crawls but Christian pursues and they brawl down the steps. They even get photo ops for the fans! Nick rakes eyes and runs away! Christian pursues, keeps after him, and they end up at ringside. Christian throws Nick over the railing! Christian sees Matt get up and kicks him to throw hands. Christian whips Matt but Matt reverses and Christian tumbles over the steel steps!
Matt regroups with his brother, but JB WRECKS Matt with a dropkick! JB slides at Cole, Cole catches him, WHEELBARROW GERMAN to the apron! Nick goes out, PENALTY KICK to Luchasaurus! The lackeys have caught up with them and are helping Cole get things out from under the ring. Cole finds a mystery bag! Cole throws it to Matt and fans go nuts! Matt opens the bag up and pours out a handful of thumbtacks for Nick, and then for himself, to put in JB’s mouth!! And then Cole puts him in the camel clutch! The Bucks run and run and run, to give Cole the kisses! And then they SUPERKICK JB in the face! Cole covers, Christian breaks it!
The Super Kliq mugs Christian, Nick hurries to find something. He brings out a LADDER! Cole puts that in a corner, Matt smacks Christian off it! And again! Nick gets Christian up, Cole has the trash can but Christian fights them all off! SMASH for Cole! SMASH for Matt! Nick dodges but Christian kicks him, hops up and TORNADO DDT’s Nick onto the ladder! That was double-edged for Christian and he tumbles out of the ring. But Luchasaurus is back to DECK Cole! Luchasaurus puts Cole i a corner! Back body block for Matt, BOOT for Nick, and then a BOOT from Cole to Luchasaurus! Cole goes up, leaps, PANAMA- NO! Fireman’s carry and Electric Chair TOSS to the ladder!!
Luchasaurus dodges the chair attacks to BOOT those out of the Bucks’ hands! CHOKE SLAM for Nick onto the ladder! STANDING MOONSAULT! Cover, but Matt uses the trash can to SMACK Luchasaurus in the head! And then SMACK again and again on the back! But Luchasaurus sits up like the Dead Man! SUPERKICK! Cover, ONE?!? Matt taunts Luchasaurus and runs away but Luchasaurus pursues. They go up the ramp, but JB is there to trip up Matt! SNARE TRAP!!! But Cole hurries to break it up! Christian CLOBBERS Cole, then throws him into girders! Matt sits up in a daze, Christian brings him up and to the edge, turns Matt around, but Nick SUPERKICKS!
Nick is busted open now, but he and Matt aim at Christian. But Luchasaurus gets them both! Only for Cole to LOW BLOW Luchasaurus! But JB grabs Cole, to get a LOW BLOW MULE KICK! Christian LOW BLOWS Cole! Christian lines up the kick but he has to block Nick! CATAPULT into the girder! Christian runs at Cole but Cole SUPERKICKS him down! Luchasaurus is on the floor, Matt FLIES off and takes him down!! Cole drags JB up and brings him around, but JB throws Cole into girders! JB climbs the steel! But Cole yanks him down to mule kick! Cole goes up the steel now, turns around, PANAMA SUNRISE on the stage! Cover, Luchasaurus breaks it!?
Luchasaurus staggers up, into Nick’s SUPERKICK! Cole SUPERKICKS, then the Super Kliq coordinate. MATT SUPERKICKS Luchasaurus, then Christian gets TRIPLE SUPERKICKS!! Then Cole brings out a set of thumbtack kneepads?! The Super Kliq equip the spiked pads, and they target Luchasaurus! SPIKED B T E TRIGGER!!! Triple cover, JB BREAKS IT!! BUT HOW!? The Super Kliq glare at JB but JB doesn’t back down! He throws hands and forearms on them all! Nick pulls JB away from Cole but JB gets around to SNAP GERMAN Nick to the LED ramp! Christian SPEARS Nick! Cole hurries away but Luchasaurus rises up and choke grips!
CHOKE SLAM onto Nakazawa and Cutler on the floor! And then Luchasaurus takes aim for a JURASSIC SHOOTING STAR!??! Even JB is shocked to see Luchasaurus do that!! Luchasaurus, Cutler, Nakazawa, Cole and Nick are down, but Christian has chairs! Christian sets Matt up, and JB says he wants to! Christian lets JB have the honors, CON-CHAIR-TO!! The teams sort out and Pac starts with Andrade. They circle as fans rally up, Andrade shoves Cody. Cody calls to Pac but Pac doesn’t tag. Pac and Andrade circle, so Cody tags himself in! Fans boo Cody and chant, “We Want Pac!” then “F You Cody!” Cody and Andrade circle, but Pac tags himself back in! Andrade CLOBBERS Pac from behind! Pac hits back, Andrade eggs him on and they brawl with forearms! Andrade gets the edge but Pac BOOTS back. Andrade blocks the whip but Pac kicks low to whip. Andrade reverses, Pac goes up and over and handsprings to mule kick. Pac runs, wheelbarrows and arm-drags! Then he headlocks for a flying takeover!
Andrade endures the grind, fights his way up, and pulls hair to put Pac in the corner. Malakai tags in, kicks Pac low, wrenches the arm and yanks on it. Pac endures the wristlock, rolls, gets Makalai’s arm but Malakai trips Pac to roll him and whip. Pac slides under, arm-drags and has the armlock! Malakai gets to his feet, pulls hair, but Cody tags in. Fans boo again as Cody talks trash to Malakai. But then Andrade tags in! Malakai talks trash to Cody and Andrade attacks! Andrade headlocks, Cody powers out and runs Andrade over. Things speed up, Andrade jumps into a fireman’s carry! Andrade fights free to whip corner to corner. Cody tumbles up and out but Andrade follows him!
Andrade and Cody talk trash, kick and shove and throw forearms! Jose grabs at Cody but Cody hits him away, only for Andrade to DECK Cody! Andrade puts Cody in the ring to CHOP him and whip him. Cody DIVES to take out Jose! Then he gets in to dodge and POWERSLAM Andrade! Cody keeps on Andrade, they end up in the corner and Pac tags in. Cody’s annoyed by that but he pushes Andrade to the corner. Pac gets in, Andrade gets away and Malakai tags in. There’s tension mounting between Malakai and Andrade but Malakai ties up with Pac. Malakai waistlocks, Pac elbows free but Malakai shoves him to elbow him down!
Malakai checks his teeth, stomps Pac then brings him up for forearms. Andrade tags in, they mug Pac with a CHOP, then Andrade stomps Pac down. Andrade drags Pac up to ram into him at the corner, throw a knee, then tags Malakai. Malakai brings Pac up to suplex, but Pac slips out and Cody tags in! Cody rallies on Malakai, kick and Rhodes Uppercut! Springboard, CODY CUTTER! Dragon sleeper, but Malakai knees free! Cody kicks low, reels Malakai in to underhook but Malakai slips out. Malakai shoves Cody to the corner, Pac tags in! Cody storms up on Malakai, into a BLACK MASS! Pac sees Cody fall, but then he dumps Malakai out.
Pac dodges Andrade, RANAS him out, then goes to the apron to ASAI MOONSAULT onto them both at the ramp! Fans fire up with Pac while Arn checks on Cody. Jose talks trash to Arn but fans want Arn to kick his ass! Jose throws off the jacket, Arin says BOOM and DECKS Jose! Arn fires off fists on Jose and Jose goes scrambling around the way! Arn chases Jose up the ramp, Jose begs for mercy. Meanwhile, Pac puts Malakai in the ring, climbs up, but Andrade shoves him down, onto a BOOT from Malakai! And the ref was too busy with Cody to see it! Andrade tags in, runs and TRIANGLE JUMP TORNILLOS onto Pac!
Andrade gets Pac up to fireman’s carry and SNAKE EYES onto railing! Andrade then drags Pac up to put in the ring. Andrade gets Pac’s legs, stomps him in the stomach, then tags to Malakai. Punk fires up and gets to the apron! Kingston slowly stands, Punk runs in and FLYING CLOTHESLINES again! Punk flounders over, clubs Kingston then drags him into the ring. Fans rally and duel while Kingston flounders. Punk runs to shoulder tackle Kingston down! And again! Then he ducks Kingston’s clothesline to SPIN-OUT BOMB! Wait, is Punk doing what it looks like he’s doing?! Punk holds his hand up, fans are all riled up for it, and then Punk and Kingston both flip each other off! Fans fire up with Punk’s take on Latino Heat’s shuffle, and then Punk goes to the corner. Punk climbs, Kingston drags himself up and ROCKS Punk with an uppercut! Kingston climbs, tells Punk “FU!” and then rains down furious fists and forearms! Fans go wild, even as Kingston stops and just leans on Punk. Kingston then gets Punk up for a SUPERPLEX! Kingston crawls, a standing count starts and the fans duel hard as ever. Punk rolls away to the far corner. The two glare from across the ring, then they stand up and rush each other to fire off fast hands! They slow down, throw SLAP after SLAP, Punk ROCKS Kingston but Kingston flips him off to BOOT and ENZIGURI!
Kingston steadies himself, gets to his feet and vows this is down. Night night, and some JO! But Punk gets Kingston up for the GO TO SLEEP!! But he can’t make the cover as he flops to the apron! “This is Awesome!” but far from over as Punk catches his breath and the ref checks on Kingston. Kingston is somehow in this, so Punk crawls his way over. Punk drags Kingston up, Kingston goes for another Uraken, only for Punk to drop! Both men flounder and stagger, then head for each other! 10 Man Minneapolis Street Fight: The Inner Circle VS Dan Lambert, Junior Dos Santos, Andrei Arlovski & The Men of the Year!
American Top Team was invited to AEW as guests, but Dan “The Fat Faced Dips*it” acted like he was entitled to talk down to the wrestlers, the product, and the fans who love it all. That karma has come back to bite him a few times, but the Inner Circle could eat him alive here! Will Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara, Jake Hager, Santana & Ortiz run roughshod over Lambert, his “MMA meat heads,” as well as Scorpio Sky & Ethan Page? Or is Lambert lucky that he doesn’t have to do this alone?
Minneapolis sings Judas for the Inner Circle as they make their entrance. Lambert and his team have one last huddle-up, and though this is a Street Fight, it is still a tag match and we start with Sammy and Scorpio. They circle, Scorpio soaking up the heat. Fans rally behind Sammy, and also cuss out Lambert. Sammy dodges Scorpio to CHOP, and CHOP, and CHOP! Scorpio ends up in a corner, Sammy CHOPS again, but Scorpio turns it around to dig fingers into Sammy’s face! Fans boo, Scorpio tells them to shut up, but Sammy turn sit around to CHOP and CHOP again! Scorpio claws Sammy’s face again, then whips Sammy into the corner.
Sammy elbows Scorpio and jumps up to kick Scorpio down! Fans fire up as Sammy whips and hurdles then flips over Scorpio to dropkick him down! And kips up so smooth! But then Scorpio runs in, but into a deep arm-drag! Cover, TWO! Sammy drags Scorpio over and tags in Ortiz. Ortiz scoops, Scorpio slips out and waistlocks but switches. They go to ropes, Santana slingshots up and over them, Ortiz rolls Scorpio for Santana to QUEBRADA! Ortiz drops the SENTON! Santana gets a boost, MOONSAULT! Ortiz hits a PLANKING SPLASH! Cover, TWO! Ortiz keeps cool, drags Scorpio back up and tags in Santana. Proud ‘n’ Powerful double suplex Scorpio high and hard!
Santana stares down American Top Team, drags Scorpio back up, and he CHOPS Scorpio. Santana suplexes, Hager tags in, and then Hager takes the hand-off of the stalling suplex to SLAM Scorpio down! Scorpio scrambles away to tag in Andrei! And he starts trading hands with Hager! Andrei knees low but Hager trips him to get the ANKLE LOCK! Andrei kicks Hager away but Hager comes back, into a fireman’s carry! Andrei roars before hitting a SAMOAN DROP! Tag to Junior Dos Santos, and the MMA guys double whip to double shoulder Hager down! JDS stalks Hager, brings him up, scoops him, but Hager slips out, tag to Jericho!
Fans are fired up as Le Champion squares up with JDS! And they throw hands! Jericho rocks JDS but JDS comes back for more. Jericho runs, jumps, but into JDS’s arms! JDS pops Jericho up for a POWERSLAM! JDS is having fun as he gets Jericho up for a stalling suplex! JDS gloats, and STANDING MOONSAULTS?! Cover, TWO! JDS can’t believe it, but now Lambert wants in? The weasel is becoming a vulture as he tags in and picks the bones! He slaps Jericho, flexes like he’s hot stuff, and then slaps Jericho again! And he flips off the Inner Circle! Jericho blocks the next slap and goes right at Lambert! The corners empty and now it’s just a Street Fight!!
The Inner Circle clears the ring but they keep Lambert all to themselves. Lambert wants mercy but then he bails out. The chase is on as Jericho is after Lambert! But Ethan is ready with a hockey stick, and he SMACKS Jericho in the gut! And then SMACKS him on the back! But then Sammy FLIES in and takes Ethan out! Scorpio comes up and CLOBBERS Sammy! Scorpio & Ethan regroup, but PNP DOUBLE DIVE onto them! Fans are fired up as the brawling is on! Wait, Hager goes up top!? Rock Hard Hager aims at the cluster, FALLING AX HANDLE! Jericho spots him and heads that way, but Lambert brings out a steel pipe! The Inner Circle bring out all sorts of things that trace their history back to Minneapolis. Hager uses the oil drum to SMACK Junior Dos Santos down! Oh hey, there’s a toaster. Jericho scares Lambert, and then gets himself a PRINCE SIGN!! Scorpio CLOBBERS Sammy to then get after Jericho! Jericho hits Scorpio with the sign formally known as Prince. Fans chant for “PURPLE RAIN!” even as Ethan DECKS Jericho. Ethan dodges Ortiz but Ortiz comes back to dropkick him! Scorpio DECKS Ortiz in return! Santana goes after Ethan, PNP brawl with the Men of the Year!
Scorpio & Ethan get the edge and they RAM Santana into railing! Lambert watches from afar as Scorpio puts Santana in the ring. He and Ethan coordinate, and they go after Hager to get a chair. Hager uses the toaster to smash Andre! The chair is put around Ortiz, and then Ortiz is POSTED! Andrei drags Hager down while Scorpio gives Santana some hockey stick shots. Snapmare and ground ‘n’ pound, while Ethan flexes and grins in the background. Santana scrambles to a corner, Andrei hits Ortiz for good measure. A trash can is brought in, and Ortiz SMACKS Andrei with it! Santana fires off big SLAPPING strikes on the Men of the Year! Ortiz CLOBBERS Ethan!
Scorpio RAMS into Santana, but PNP fire off a KNEE, a BOOT and a LARIAT! Ortiz puts the trash can around Ethan! PNP KICK away on it, then get the hockey sticks! SLAP SHOT! Then they just BANG the can with the sticks! Ortiz puts on a HALF CRAB! Scorpio gets in, Santana catches him for a Gory Especial! Santana then steps on Ethan and gets him in a CAMEL CLUTCH! But Hager gets in to CLOBBER Andrei with the toaster! Toaster SMASH for Ethan! Hager whips Ethan but Scorpio holds him and Ethan BOOTS back! Cover, TWO!! Scorpio is still in this, Santana CLOBBERS Junior Dos Santos on the outside! Ortiz is after Andrei and SMACKS him off the timekeeper’s table. Hager adds a SMACK to JDS! Sammy brings out a TABLE! He sets it up nearby, but Andrei jumps over to fire off hands! Hager CLOBBERS Andrei with a Bundt cake pan!!
Hager drags Andrei around the way to ram him into steps. Ethan calls to JDS while he clubs away on Sammy, but Jericho goes after Ethan! Sammy gets off the table, JDS goes up!? Ethan checks on Scorpio in the wreckage, but then Ortiz SMACKS Ethan with a chair! And again! Ortiz brings Ethan around but Ethan kicks back to crucifix! EGO’S EDGE to the floor! “Are you enjoying the show, Catalina?” Ethan is talking smack right to Mrs. Hager, but he doesn’t realize THE BARON is right there! IRON CLAW into Ethan’s head!! Ethan then gets a BOOT from Santana, and TOSSED into the front row! Santana has the fans give him space, and the security guard is willing to help out! POETRY IN MOTION into the crowd!! Fans are getting even closer to the action than they thought!
Lambert gets in the ring to gloat that his guys are doing something, but he forgets about Jericho. CHOP after CHOP, and Jericho literally strips the sweat jacket off Lambert! Lambert is down, Jericho goes to ropes but JDS ROCKS him before the lionsault! Lambert covers, TWO!! Lambert is pissed but the fans are relieved. But Lambert gets the legs, he wants the Boston Crab! Jericho gets a kendo stick to SMACK Lambert instead! And then again, and again, and again! And then SMACK for Junior! And then more SMACKS for Lambert! Jericho brings out a STAPLER!! Lambert freaks out and he gets STAPELED BALLS! And a LARIAT!

And speaking of, he heard there is an open challenge for the TNT Championship coming? Well then Sammy Guevara, Lethal is interested in that. How about they have it happen… Well Sammy just had a hard battle here so let’s go for Wednesday Night Dynamite! Fans want to see it, Sammy walks up on stage to stare Lethal down. Sammy gets the mic, fans are fired up, and Sammy says, “You’re on.” Sammy holds up the TNT title here tonight, will he still be holding onto it this Wednesday?
AEW World Championship: Kenny Omega w/ Don Callis VS Hangman Page!
One year ago, the Cleaner and the Cowboy battled in the AEW World Title Eliminator Finals. Kenny Omega won, and then he became AEW World Champion. Omega has done everything in his power, and in Don Callis’ power, to keep that title. But Hangman vows to give us #CowboyShit every single second he possibly can. Will that start right here tonight in Minneapolis? Or will it be another big moment where Hangman doesn’t ride off into the sunset?
Hangman has a cinematic entrance where he rides into town, remembering all his shortcomings, but also his undying spirit to keep on fighting. Fans are fired up just seeing Hangman walk down the ramp. As for Omega, he walks out with a cape! But he can’t help but see the fan sign, “What would KOTA think?” The introductions are made, the title is raised, and we see if Full Gear brings us full circle!
Omega and Hangman step up to each other as fans are thunderous already. They talk a little bit of trash, back away, and then circle. The two tie up, go around, then break. They go again, break again, and the tension is mounting. They go a third time, break, and Omega CHOPS! Hangman CHOPS, Omega CHOPS again! Hangman CHOPS, Omega kicks low! Omega headlocks, Hangman powers out to then ram shoulders! Omega rebounds and rams back, but Hangman rebounds to run Omega over! Hangman has Omega in a corner and CHOPS him again! And throws a forearm, then CHOPS again! Forearm, CHOP, but Omega turns it around to CHOP!
Hangman turns it back around to COHP! Hangman whips corner to corner, clotheslines hard, and Omega flounders while fans fire up! Hangman eggs Omega on, whips, but Omega reverses. Callis trips up Hangman and fans boo! Hangman warns Callis but Omega CLOBBERS Hangman! Omega drags Hangman up, digs fingers into his eyes, but the ref counts. Omega stops, brings Hangman up as fans cuss out Callis, and Omega digs his boots into Hangman’s chin! The ref counts, Omega lets off, and Callis chokes Hangman now! Callis stops before the ref notices, Omega drags Hangman up to CHOP him! And CLUB him, then CHOP him again!
Omega CLUBS Hangman again and again, whips him to ropes, but Hangman reverses. Omega KICKS back, Hangman goes to ropes and dumps Omega to the apron. TRIANGLE JUMP LARIAT! Omega staggers, Hangman slingshots to PLANCHA! Fans fire up again but Callis creeps over. Hangman stares him down, Callis wants Hangman to take it easy and he backs away. Hangman goes back to Omega, brings him up but Omega RAMS him into railing! And into the apron! And back into railing! Omega brings Hangman around but Hangman suplexes instead! Omega writhes, Callis coaches Omega and the ring count climbs.
Hangman refreshes the count at 4, brings Omega up and puts him in the ring. Fans rally for Hangman as he climbs, and FLYING CLOTHESLINES! Cover, ONE!! Omega winces but Hangman brings him up. Omega pokes Hangman in the eyes! Fans boo but Omega doesn’t care, and he runs to BULLDOG Hangman down! Cover, ONE!! Hangman returns the favor kicking out that fast. Omega drags Hangman up, fans taunt him as “Kenny No Balls!” Omega wrenches, CHOPS, but Hangman ROCKS Omega with forearms! Omega ROCKS Hangman back, then has him in the corner to whip corner to corner. Omega runs in to back elbow!
Omega throws Hangman out, the ref won’t let him go after Hangman, but Callis fires off stomps with purple shoes?! Why is he wearing purple with powder blue? Omega drags Hangman up, throws hands, then bumps Hangman off the steps. And again, and again! Omega digs Hangman’s face into the diamond plate, then digs his fingers in! The ref counts, Omega stops and then puts Hangman back in the ring. Omega soaks up the heat then waits for Hangman to stand. Hangman stands, Omega fakes the slingshot, but then Hangman ROCKS and CHPOS Omega on repeat! Hangman fires off in the corner, whips corner to corner and then runs in, but Omega goes up and over!
Omega comes back to RANA! Hangman bails out, the Terminator Drums begin. Omega builds speed, and FLIES! Direct hit and down goes Hangman! Omega still gloats despite being sore from the landing. Omega is up, he puts Hangman in the ring, then brings him up to a fireman’s carry. “YOU! CAN’T! ESCAPE!” Rolling senton then the MOONSAULT onto boots! Hangman knows Omega too well to let that one follow through! Both men are in corners, Hangman runs corner to corner but into an elbow. Omega runs in but into a BOOT! Hangman runs at Omega again and CHOPS! Then forearms, then CHOPS again!
Hangman whips, Omega ducks and dodges but Hangman scoops for a FALL AWAY SLAM! And he kips up! Fans fire up with Hangman, and he runs to DIVE! Direct hit and Omega hits railing! Hangman goes up top to ARIHARA MOONSAULT! Direct hit on Omega again but both men are down! Fans are thunderous for “COWBOY SH*T!” but Callis fans Omega off. Hangman gets up, drags Omega into the ring, and he runs up to kick low and suplex, to a BRAINBUSTER! Cover, TWO! Omega is still in this but the fans rally up. Hangman drags Omega up, RAMS him into the corner, then hoists him up top. Hangman climbs but Omega hits back!
Hangman and Omega brawl as Hangman climbs, and Hangman reaches the top. Omega fights back with body shots, then CLUBS Hangman. Omega elbows Hangman and SLAPS him. Omega hops down to the outside, palm strikes away on Hangman’s head, then slingshots up to SUPER SUNSET LIGER BOMB!! Fans are losing their minds and a standing count starts. Omega is up at 1 and he vows to end this! Full nelson, SNAP DRAGON SUPLEX! Hangman sits up in a daze but Omega wants to pile on! Another full nelson, but Hangman breaks free to swing on Omega! But Omega ducks to SNAP DRAGON SUPLEX after all!
Hangman drags himself to the apron, Omega goes out after him. Omega stands Hangman up, full nelsons again, APRON DRAGON SUPLEX!! Hangman flounders into the ring, Omega aims and BANG! V-TRIGGER! Then the Electric Chair, but Hangman fights! Victory roll, TWO! Omega get sup, Hangman dodges to GERMAN SUPLEX! Omega lands on his face! Hangman gets him up to the Alabama but Omega fights that to underhook! TIGER DRIVER 98!! Cover, TWO!!! Omega can’t believe Hangman survives, but fans are still behind Hangman. Omega rains down fists, then BITES Hangman’s forehead!
The ref reprimands, Omega stops and he goes to the corner. Omega climbs, Hangman stands, and Hangman trips Omega! Hangman climbs up to BITE Omega’s forehead! Hangman stands on the very top with Omega, to SUPER FALL AWAY SLAM!! Cover, TWO!!! Omega survives and Hangman can’t believe it! Callis gets Omega to crawl out of the ring towards him. Hangman gets to a corner, “This is Awesome!” as Hangman climbs again. Hangman sees Omega by the timekeeper’s table, and so he removes the camera from the post so he can be right on the very top! SUPER FLYING LARIAT through the timekeeper’s table!!!
Fans are losing their minds all over again and Callis is freaking out for Omega’s sake! Callis shouts to Omega to just stay down so it can be a count out! Hangman, forehead busted open, puts Omega in the ring. Callis scurries away as Hangman takes aim from the apron! But Omega flounders and flops, so Hangman doesn’t slingshot. Hangman decides to copy the Cleaner! Finger gun and BANG! Hangman runs, but Omega dodges to GERMAN SUPELX! Hangman lands on his feet?! ROLLING ELBOW! Whip and POP-UP POWERBOMB! Hangman resets on the apron, Omega staggers up, slingshot into the REF!! The ref takes the lariat as Omega uses him as a shield!!
Callis hurries to get the belt! No, not like All Out! Callis gets in and aims at Hangman, but Hangman turns around! Callis holds off on the belt attack, but Hangman gets Callis, and DECKS him! But Now OMEGA has the belt! Hangman dodges, Alabama to the DEADEYE!! Cover, AUBREY runs out to be the new ref, TWO?!?! The delay might’ve just saved Omega’s reign! Fans can’t believe it, but they cheer on Aubrey now that she’s in charge. She checks on the other ref, but Hangman gets the belt! He doesn’t want to win it like Omega did, and fans cheer his heroism. But then Omega hits low! And again!
Omega throws a forearm, Hangman gives it back! Omega throws another forearm, Hangman gives it back again! Omega forearms, Hangman BOOTS! Omega blocks the next boot to JAB, JAB, JAB! Hangman drops to his knees but Omega keeps throwing hands. Hangman flips Omega off so he get a V-TRIGGER for it! And then another! Omega takes aim, but Hangman blocks the V-Trigger this time! And he SLAPS away on Omega from all sides! Hangman runs, into a V-TRIGGER!! Omega runs again, but into the ROLLING ELBOW! V_TRIGGER anyway! Omega reels Hangman in, but Hangman resists the bomb lift!
Omega gives Hangman Kowata Kicks! “IS THAT ALL YOU GOT MUTHA FUGGA?!” Omega gives Hangman more, so Hangman LARIATS point blank!! Fans are thunderous for “A E DUB!” while both men are down! But wait, here come the Young Bucks. Hangman warned them not to interfere, but are they just here to watch their friends fight? Omega gets up, headbutts Hangman again and again, then SAIDO SUPLEXES! Hangman flounder sup, but he gets Omega for a SAIDO SUPLEX! The Bucks are ringside now as the two stagger up. Hangman runs, Omega puts him on the outside but Hangman BOOTS him! Hangman aims, slingshot, V-TRIGGER!!
Omega gets the Electric Chair, but Hangman slips off to STEAL ONE WINGED ANGEL!!! Cover, TWO!??! No one can believe it but Hangman doesn’t let that stop him! Hangman is on the apron again. the Bucks are really close by. Nick seems to take Hangman’s word seriously. Slingshot, BLINDSIDE BUCKSHOT!! Omega staggers about, Hangman reloads on the apron, and now Matt Jackson is the one conflicted. Matt nods? Hangman slingshots, BUCKSHOT! Cover, HANGMAN WINS!!
Winner: Hangman Page, by pinfall (NEW AEW World Champion)
INCREDIBLE! The Bucks let Hangman win this one! Does this mean their friendship could be mended? Speaking of friends, The Dark Order come out to celebrate with the new champion! What does this new era mean for Hangman and AEW?
My Thoughts:
What an AWESOME night for AEW! Almost every single match was as good as it could be. I say “almost” because it seemed like the Women’s Championship match took a moment to get on the right pace or something. But in the end, Britt did win, but Conti did give her a run for her money. The other thing was the Street Fight starting like it was a normal tag. Any tag match that is No Disqualifications should just be a Tornado Tag from the start. But that was some awesome stuff, even from Junior Dos Santos and Andrei Arlovski. Lambert was playing his part as the goober perfectly, and how great for Jericho to honor Eddie Guerrero with how he won that match.
On a related note, how awesome to see Jay Lethal make his way to AEW. A part of me always felt he was too big for ROH given ROH has itself not been able to become any bigger than it is right now. Lethal VS Sammy is going to be a great TNT Championship match, and no offense to Sammy, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Lethal took that belt off him already. But honestly, I’m not sure what else I can say about the rest of the card other than it was great. There wasn’t as much “Cody teasing his turn” in his tag match, and I’m surprised his team won. Of course, it was Pac getting the pin, but… And then I still feel like this partnership with The Pinnacle could see Andrade usurp that faction from MJF.
MJF VS Darby was an awesome opener for how it was so technical, and then we got the “overbooking” of Sting brawling with Spears and Wardlow. And of course MJF finds a way to not only win but win the way he promised. Punk VS Kingston was also a show stealer of a match, with Punk playing more with blurring Heel and Face than Cody did tonight. Punk winning still makes sense, he’s on this slow burn to the top. And how awesome for Hangman to become champion. I said that he was meant to at All Out and this was making it up to him, and boy did they make it up to him. I even love that, as I’d hoped, the Bucks would show up but not interfere. They might have even given their blessing! This is going to be an awesome third year for AEW!

Schiavone welcomes us to Dynamite live from Southern California, and he says we’re starting with a special face-to-face. First, welcome out The Cleaner, Kenny Omega! The fans cheer as indeed, The Best Bout Machine makes his way out to the ring, complete with pyro! And now, welcome out Swerve Strickland! The fans cheer again as The Realest makes his way to the ring, Prince Nana always in the groove. Schiavone notes how last week, things broke down during Kenny’s match with Andrade El Idolo. To be honest, we’ve seen the looks, we’ve felt the tension, and it goes as far back as Maximum Carnage.
Schiavone wants to start with Swerve, as it seems most of the tension is coming from him. What’s going on? Swerve says he has stuff to get off his chest. It’s been lingering for awhile. Five years ago, Kenny Omega was on top of the game, on top of the industry. So conveniently, that was the last time Kenny had the AEW World Championship, as well. Not only that, but Kenny was The Cleaner, the Best Bout Machine, and some even called him the God of Pro-Wrestling. Everyone outside of AEW was itching for a chance to face off with Kenny, Swerve included. Then in 2022, Swerve finally arrives to AEW, makes it to the top, becomes world champion in just TWO YEARS.
But where is Kenny? Where’s The Cleaner? Where’s the Best Bout Machine? While Swerve is busy becoming the most undeniable man in AEW, Kenny was nowhere to be found. Swerve says don’t get him wrong, he saw Kenny pop up here and there, even showing up in the Tokyo Dome. Hell, Swerve even teamed with that guy last year in Anarchy in the Arena. But while Swerve was at the top of AEW, Kenny was either laid up in a hospital bed or suspended. Seems like a false prophet of wrestling if you ask Swerve. But during Kenny’s absence, the congregation starts looking for someone else to follow, a new prophet.
Now, Swerve won’t call himself a god or nothing, but everywhere they go, the “church” sings, “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” And now, Kenny suddenly wants to march back in here, feeling the best he has in years! Kenny’s all healthy and good, and inserts himself into the title circle with the rest of them. It almost feels like Kenny was using his EVP power. Is that what he’s trying to do? Cuz Swerve had to fight with a couple EVPs the last couple years, a couple idiots that like to stroke their own egos, abuse their power, and Swerve ended that last Summer. So Swerve doesn’t care if they call Kenny a god or not, if he uses his power to step ahead of Swerve, Swerve puts you down.
Kenny picks up a mic and asks, “Are we good? Can I talk now?” Kenny will be the first to correct Swerve on one detail: Kenny never called himself the God of Pro-Wrestling; that’s a name the people gave him. And while Kenny never erected altars or asked the people to pray to him or praise him, they still made signs, wore the shirts, and cheered him on. The fans respect AEW as the place where the best wrestle, and they know that if they see Kenny Omega in a match, they are going to get the absolute best outta him! Now if that’s the power of a god or not, that’s in the eye of the beholder.
But Kenny takes the fans’ faith as a great responsibility. For them to believe in Kenny for this one final journey to the top of the mountain and do it the right way… Swerve, you ask the question, “Whose House?” It might be Swerve’s House, but to question Kenny Omega…? The lights are on, but nobody’s home. And if Swerve needs someone else to burn the house down, well, Kenny’s got a friend who’s got the experience. And yeah, Swerve’s right, a bit of the old Kenny is feeling good. He’s shown up and shown out. And Kenny is feeling like championship material, and that he doesn’t need EVP power to do it because he’s been getting wins.
And if not for Swerve last week, Kenny would’ve had plans for Australia, he would’ve had plans for Revolution, and he might even be champion right now! But Kenny knows how much Swerve believes in himself. Kenny isn’t asking Swerve to believe in Kenny. Kenny is asking something rather simple: he’s asking for a fight! Kenny sees the way Swerve looks at Kenny with disrespect. Kenny’s seen how Swerve whispers sweet nothings in Nana’s ears like he has something planned. But Kenny isn’t giving Swerve the chance. This ends and this ends now. If Swerve wants the match, he’s got it. If this is about padding records, then that’s what they’ll do.
So, Swerve… Kenny will make it simple. Accept the challenge, or yield. Swerve says Kenny must be scared, he must be nervous. Because Swerve’s generation is already ahead of Kenny’s. They’re lapping him! But if Kenny wants to go face to face with The Most Dangerous- Oh, right, Kenny totally forgot about that! The Most Dangerous Man on the Planet! The one that gives everyone the heebie jeebies! Well if you ask Kenny, it ain’t Swerve. In fact, the Most Dangerous Man in AEW would have to be Brody King. The fans bark for Brody, but Swerve says what he was going to say was… How about Swerve puts Kenny in the hospital bed, and this time Kenny won’t be getting back up.
Kenny says that’s an idea. SLAP! The fans fire up seeing that! Swerve scowls and he takes off his jacket while Kenny takes off his watch and rolls up his sleeves. Swerve says Kenny’s made his choice. Whatever happens next is on Kenny. Swerve TACKLES Kenny and they start scrapping! Kenny gets on top of Swerve but then things spill outside! Swerve RAMS Kenny into railing, then THROWS him into more railing! And then the steel steps! Swerve is furious as he gets Kenny up, but Kenny THROWS Swerve over railing! Kenny picks up a chair and pursues through the crowd! He SMACKS Swerve on the back! And again!
The fans fire up as things move through the crowd and Kenny fires fast hands! Swerve hits back, and he whips Kenny into a trash can! Then he SMACKS Kenny off it! Swerve then SMACKS Kenny with the can! Things keep moving and they go to around the stage! Swerve pushes Kenny onto the ramp, stomps him down, then brings him up to CLUB away! Kenny fires back! Kenny ROCKS Swerve, follows him along, and THROWS him into the LED! V-TRIGGER into the LED! The fans fire up as Kenny takes off his shirt and stands tall over Swerve. Then Kenny drags Swerve up, Electric Chair Lifts, but Swerve fights free!
Swerve SPEARS Kenny off the stage, and they CRASH DOWN THROUGH A TABLE! The fans lose their minds while security hurries out here. They make sure both men are okay before helping them out of the wreckage. The Cleaner and the Realest are still raging, what will it take to settle the score?
Backstage interview with Kyle Fletcher & Don Callis.
Renee Paquette is with the Protostar and The Jackal, noting we are just moments away from a first-time-ever match. Fletcher is challenging Tommaso Ciampa for the TNT Championship, but we’re also just days away from Grand Slam: Australia. There’s a lot of pressure on Kyle, but- Callis says no, Kyle is not under pressure, The Don Callis Family gives the pressure. Kyle will beat Ciampa, then he’ll go on to a hero’s welcome in Australia. Callis asks Kyle how he’s feeling, and Kyle says it’s just as Don says, Kyle lives for this. Kyle loves the pressure, he thrives under the bright lights, and tonight, he takes his TNT Championship back. Kyle will then go home and get his hero’s welcome.
But one question for Don: Will he let Kyle do this on his own? Wait, Callis gets to sit back with feet up on the commentary desk as he watches the great Kyle Fletcher? Yes, Kyle would love that. Callis would also love that! See you out there! Kyle heads out and Callis says that’s like the son he’s never had. But then will Don be a proud papa when the Aussie Arrow hits the mark and brings home the gold? Or will Ciampa make sure no one will survive?

Ahead of their AEW Continental Championship match in Australia, The Maniac and The Alpha lead their factions into one more battle in this war for power! Will the Death Riders get payback for that loss a few weeks ago? Or will there be no stopping the Don Callis Family from having everything they want?
The teams sort out and The Bastard starts against Dunkzilla. The fans rally as the two stare down, then they tie up. Davis SHOVES Pac down and he eggs Pac on. Pac stands, the two reset, and they tie up again. Pac manages to power Davis back a step, but Davis THROWS Pac back down! Pac backs up and tags to Moxley. The fans cheer as Moxley and Davis circle, then tie up. Davis powers Moxley back a step but Moxley powers Davis back. Davis puts Moxley in the corner, the ref counts, but Moxley ROCKS then CHOPS on repeat! Moxley eggs Davis on, and Davis CHOPS Moxley down! Davis roars while Moxley backs off.
The fans boo Davis, but then cheer as Claudio tags in. The fans cheer as Swiss Cyborg ties up with Dunkzilla. They go around and around on the ropes, but Claudio avoids the chop to UPPERCUT! Davis CHOPS again, but Claudio shakes it off to UPPERCUT! Davis CHOPS again! Claudio UPPERCUTS again! Claudio headlocks but Davis powers up and out. Claudio RAMS Davis, but Davis comes back to CHOP! And CHOP! And CHOP! Davis headlocks but Claudio powers up and out, only for Davis to RUN him over! The fans are torn as Davis drags Claudio up. Davis suplexes but Claudio fights that!
Davis still tires but Claudio suplexes now! Claudio manages to hold Davis up before the SLAM! The fans fire up for Claudio’s insane strength! Davis hurries to the Callis corner and he tags in Konosuke! The fans fire up as these two fire forearms! Claudio KNEES low, then whips, but Konosuke BOOTS Moxley! Konosuke goes out after Moxley, leaving it to Davis and Alexander to go after Pac and Claudio! The fans are torn but Konosuke sends Moxley into railing! Alexander does the same to Claudio! Davis TOSSES Pac out the side while Konosuke and Alexander mug Moxley and Claudio! Moxley fights back and scraps with Konosuke on the floor!
Alexander sends Claudio into barriers, then Davis adds on! Konosuke stomps Moxley, then helps with Claudio. Konosuke RAMS Claudio into barriers! Konosuke puts Claudio back in, then stands him up to whip. Claudio catches the hurdle into a BACKBREAKER! Tag to Pac! Pac STANDING MOONSAULTS! Cover, TWO! Pac brings Konosuke up, but Konosuke YANKS him into buckles! Tag to Alexander and he ROCKS Pac! Alexander whips Pac to a corner, then runs in, but Pac dodges! Kyle says he made it very clear earlier when he said he was coming home with THE TNT Championship! So that is exactly what he plans to do. And because Kyle IS the Greatest TNT Champion of All Time, he will defend the title in his hometown, against anybody from anywhere, he does not care! Mike Bailey says they are THE AEW World Trios Champions, and they’re looking for challengers. But right now, Hangman Page is set to win the AEW Men’s World Champion. Kevin Knight adds that it is admirable that Hangman is a champion still looking for more gold. So maybe JetSpeed should do the same. It could be the tag team championships, or considering Knight beat a former TNT Champion, maybe some singles belts. Bailey says the important thing to note is that in 2026, #JetSetRodeo is coming for all the gold! Then when and where will Bailey & Knight wrangle themselves some new golden opportunities?

Dez drops down, Quen tags in, and Zay slips free of the scoop. Zay shoves Dez to Quen and Quen puts him on the apron! Zay triangle jump STUNNERS Dez, but Myron RAMS Quen! Myron avoids Zay to GUILLOTINE LEG DROP, then he goes up top! Myron leaps but into an atomic drop! Zay adds an ENZIGIRI!
Dez is back, but he runs into a DOUBLE FLAPJACK! Dez staggers, Matt tags in, and Matt tags Nick. The Bucks and Private Party meet again after a long time, and they shake hands and fist bump. But then The Bucks DOUBLE SUPER- NO! Private Party blocks those! Then they fire hands with The Bucks! The fans fire up, Nick ROCKS Quen and Matt TOSSES Zay. Matt PLANCHAS out onto Zay while Quen shoves Nick away. Nick RUNS Quen over, then keeps moving. Nick handsprings over, waistlocks Quen, but Quen BOOTS Matt away. Quen then switches with Nick but Nick switches back, and Matt sunset flips to make Nick GERMAN SUPLEX Quen!
The Bucks regroup to BLAST The Rascalz down! Zay returns to fire hands, then he TOSSES Nick out! Nick lands safe on the apron, BOOTS Zay away, and Matt wheelbarrows Zay for Nick’s slingshot FACEBUSTER! The fans fire up with The Bucks, but Dez tags in. Myron jumps in, too, and he TOSSES Matt out while Dez rolls Nick! TWO, but then Dez slips around. Nick elbows free, he runs up on Myron, but Myron dodges! The Rascalz dodge again, then Myron ENZIGIRIS! Dez BODY BLOWS, Myron KICKS low, then they KICK and KICK and DOUBLE STOMP! The fans are torn while The Bucks bail out. Myron builds speed to FLY!
Myron brings down The Bucks, but Quen runs up to DROPKICK Dez! Then he sets up for Zay, PARTY IN MOTION! Down goes Nick and The Rascalz! But then Matt BOOTS Quen and WRECKS everyone with a dropkick! But Dez DROPKICKS Matt! Dez goes up, up, and SUPER SHOOTING STAR ATTACK! All six men are down on the outsides and the fans are loving “A E DUB!” as Dynamite goes picture in picture.
Dez puts Nick in the ring, and he stomps Nick while Myron returns to the corner. STANDING SHOOTING STAR, TWO! Dez drags Nick up, brings him over, and Myron tags in. The Rascalz mug Nick, then Myron ROCKS him. Myron bumps Nick off buckles, then follows Nick to another corner. Myron bumps Nick off buckles again, then off even more buckles. Tag to Dez and he runs in for an UPPERCUT! Dez wrenches Nick’s arm, whips, but Nick reverses to ELBOW Dez away! Quen tags in and he LARIATS Nick! Quen stomps away, then he makes it the beat, “Stomps, stomps, stomps!” “What we want?” “Stomps, stomps, stomps!” “What we need?”
Quen stomps away at the ropes, then stops as the ref counts. Quen drags Nick around, bends him against the ropes, and stops as the ref counts 4. Quen stalks Nick but Nick fires back! Quen KNEES low, puts Nick in the corner, and RAMS him! Zay tags in, he stomps away on Nick, but stops as the ref counts. Zay taunts Matt, but Nick ROCKS him! Nick ROCKS Quen, but Zay CHOPS Nick! Nick ROCKS Zay, ROCKS Quen, but Zay RAMS Nick into the corner! Private Party mugs Nick but stops as the ref counts. Zay tags Quen, Quen digs his boots in, but the ref counts. Quen stops at 4 and Dynamite returns to single picture.
Quen tags Zay and Private Party brings Nick around to double whip. Nick handsprings through the double hip toss to then give Private Party a meeting of the minds! Nick blocks a shot, CHOPS Zay, then goes up to “LUCHA LIBRE~!” FLYING ARM-DRAG RANA COMBO! The fans fire up and Nick crawls for his corner, hot tag to Matt! Matt RAMS Zay, slingshots up and over, then he BLASTS The Rascalz! Matt dodges Zay, gets under, NORTHERN LIGHTS! The Polar Express gets moving as Matt NORTHERN LIGHTS again and again! Quen is up, but he gets added to a DOUBLE NORTHERN LIGHTS! The fans fire up for Matt and he WRECKS The Rascalz!
Matt skins the cat, SLICED BREAD on Zay! Quen kicks low, gives a Michael Jackson HEEHEE before he whips Matt. Matt reverses, runs in, but is put on the apron! So he just DIAMOND DUSTS Dez! Nick gives Quen the SHINING WIZARD, GAMANGIRI, ELBOW and then BULLDOG LARIAT for Private Party! The fans fire up with Nick, Matt joins back in, and they go up the corners! The Bucks coordinate, MACHO ELBOW AND SWANTON IN STEREO! Cover, TWO! The fans rally as this continues, and we see Hook watching from the skybox. What could the Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil be planning?
Matt tags Nick before he drags Zay up. Matt puts Zay on the ropes, Nick DOUBLE STOMPS him into the – RANA?! Quen runs in and PELES Nick! Zay WRECKS Dez, then Quen fireman’s carries Nick! Zay goes up top, DOUBLE STOMP and FLYING FLATLINER in one go! Then the LAWN DART CUTTER! Cover, but Dez breaks it! Dez then hurdles Quen, sends Zay at him, but Private Party busts out the SILLY STRING! The fans fire up but here comes Myron! Fireman’s carry on Zay, and Myron puts him on the ropes for a DRAPING FLATLINER! Matt feints superkick to DDT Myron! Quen clinches for a SIDE EFFECT!
Nick SUPERKICKS Quen! Zay ducks the spin kick to SUPERKICK back! But Nick kips up to SUPERKICK! The fans are all fire dup as FOUR men kip up, just to DOUBLE DOUBLE LARIAT all down! Nick and Zay both kip up, they dodge, and Nick hits a ROLLING DESTROYER!! All six men are down and the fans are thunderous! A standing count starts on whoever is legal, but all the teams regroup. Nick tags Matt, Dez tags off Zay. Dez ROCKS Matt, but Matt ROCKS Dez! Dez ROCKS Matt! Matt ROCKS Dez! Dez rebounds to ROCK Matt! Dez fires fast hands and runs the ropes, but Matt pops him up for Nick’s SUPERKICK!
The Bucks then DOUBLE SUPERKICK! The fans fire up again as Nick goes to the apron. Matt gut wrenches, but Zay YANKS Nick down! Dez hops up, POISON-RANA! Zay mule kicks Nick and Quen is there to get him! But Myron runs up, FLYING CUTTER onto Nick and Quen! The fans fire up as Myron hurries back over, tag to Dez! Dez hits a CANCUN TORNILLO, then Myron adds a 450 SPLASH! Cover, NICK BREAKS IT! The fans fire up while Dez is beside himself! Myron & Dez regroup and they get Matt. Even with the wild card in the mix, Matt & Nick busted out a Superkick Party to win their way back to the- Oh, wait, FTR is here to interrupt the celebration. The fans boo as Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood wheel Stokely Hathaway out here. They let #BigStoke sit at ringside while Dax & Cash step into the ring. Dax has a mic to say they come in peace, just give them a moment. Relax, relax. The two greatest tag teams of a generation, EIGHTEEN world tag team championship reigns between them, and if Dax is being honest, there was a time that Dax was a bit jealous of The Bucks.
How does it feel to know now that as far as greatest tag teams of all time go, The Bucks are sitting comfortably at second place? But Dax pulls the same gag where he doesn’t let The Bucks answer, because Dax knows that if it was him, and his rivals were considered the absolute best of all time, it would bother him. But think about it like this: Every company that FTR has worked for, they have been successful. In the case of The Bucks, in order to be successful, they had to go and make their own company. Does that bother them? Because Dax- SUPERKICK! Then SUPERKICK for Cash! The fans cheer and Stokely is shocked!
The Bucks hold up the belts, and then they decide to go say hey to Stoke. Stoke can’t scoot his wheelchair away in time, and he has to pretend he’s happy to see them. The Bucks smile, and then they feint hitting Stoke with superkicks. They let him have the belts to hold onto, because it’s only a matter of time. When and where will we see AEW’s greatest tag teams fight to prove they’re THE best team ever?
AEW Women’s World Championship Strap Match: Kris Statlander VS Thekla!
The Galaxy’s Greatest had a plan for what tonight’s match would be, but then those plans changed when The Triangle of Madness insisted on attacking her and beating her down. But The Toxic Spider using a leather belt to whip her inspired #BigStatDaddy into upping the ante. Now these two will be inseparable as they fight to survive! But will Thekla be another casualty of the Cosmic Killer? Or will she turn the leather strap into her sinister web?
The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who truly beats the other!
Kris is the one bringing the strap and she already has it around her wrist. Thekla straps in on her end and the bell rings. Both women gather up some slack as they tug-o-war. The fans rally for Kris as she reels Thekla in, and Thekla ends up dropping to her knees. Thekla wants Kris to take it easy, then she narrowly avoids getting lashed! Thekla slides out of the ring but Kris reminds her she can’t go far! Kris drags Thekla back and BOOTS Thekla down! Kris then whips Thekla to the corner, then whips her to the other corner! Kris LARIATS in the corner, then uses the strap in the short arm LARIAT! The fans cheer while Thekla sputters.
Kris drags Thekla by her arm all around the ring! The fans cheer as Kris just YANKS Thekla over. Kris talks trash, then she stomps Thekla. Kris drags Thekla along, wanting Thekla to get some rugburn from the mat. Thekla bails out of the ring again but Kris follows. Thekla LASHES Kris in the face! Then LASHES her on the back! Kris KNEES low in return! And POSTS Thekla! Kris snarls, winds up, but Thekla ducks! Strap lashes post but Kris pursues Thekla. Kris gathers up that slack, but Thekla dodges! Strap hits apron, but then Kris keeps Thekla from sliding into the ring! Kris BOOTS Thekla down again and the fans fire up!
Kris drags Thekla up, and up, and then whips her into railing! The fans cheer as Kris drags Thekla back up. Kris scoops Thekla to hit a BACKBREAKER! Kris stands tall as the fans cheer her on. Kris then pushes Thekla around, and whips her at the steps! But Thekla jumps up, and she YANKS Kris into the steel! Then Thekla flips Kris off, and shouts, “This is MY game! This is MY show!” Kris is busted open from how she hit the steps and Thekla mocks the blood dripping out. Thekla makes the camera look right at it, then she ELBOWS away on that wound while Dynamite goes picture in picture.
Thekla DIGS her elbow into the forehead and Kris can only endure! Thekla BITES Kris’s forehead, then pushes her down. Kris sputters but Thekla looms over her from the apron. Kris CLUBS at Thekla but Thekla kicks her down. Thekla then goes through the corner to pull Kris into the post! And YANK her into the post again! Thekla drags Kris in, CLUBS the bloody wound, then wipes her hands off on the ref! The ref is disgusted but Thekla then gathers up slack to LASH Kris! Kris writhes but Thekla CHOKES her! Kris flails and sputters as Thekla thrashes her around! Thekla drags Kris up and snapmares her for the basement SUPERKICK! Cover, TWO!
Kris snarls as she toughs it out, but Thekla gathers up more slack. Thekla LASHES Kris again, and again, then GAGS her with the strap! Kris endures as Thekla almost has a crossface with the strap! Kris fights around, fights to her feet, and snapmares free as Dynamite returns to single picture! Then Kris RAMS Thekla into a corner! Kris puts Thekla up top but Thekla BOOTS her away! Thekla wraps Kris up for a HANGING HEADSCISSORS! Kris endures, claws at the legs, but Thekla finally lets her go. The fans are torn but Thekla grins. But Kris wraps the strap around her for a CHOKNE!! The fans fire up while Kris asks how Thekla likes it!
But Thekla reaches back to GOUGE the eyes! Kris staggers around, and Thekla uses the straps to yank Kris into a HOTSHOT! Kris falls but Thekla gets her through the ropes. Thekla CHOKES Kris, then BOOTS her back down! Thekla grins, goes up the corner, and CROSSBODIES! Cover, TWO! Kris survives but Thekla keeps on her with a LASHING! And LASHING! Thekla hits the Spider Stance, but Kris YANKS the arms out! Kris SUPERKICKS Thekla down! Kris then SHOVES Thekla into buckles, and UPPERCUTS! Kris runs to BOOT WASH Thekla! Kris reels Thekla in for the SNAP POWERSLAM! Cover, TWO!
Thekla survives and Kris is furious. Kris drags Thekla to a drop zone then climbs up top. But Thekla LASHES Kris again! Thekla goes up to the very top, but Kris ROCKS her! Thekla sits on the top rope, Kris HEADBUTTS her, but Thekla sits up to LASH her again and again! Thekla grins and brings Kris up, SPIDER SUPERPLEX! Kris writhes while Thekla hangs on the corner. Thekla then sits back up, but Kris rises up! And LASHES Thekla on the back! And again, and again! Then while in the Tree of Woe! The fans fire up as Kris then gut wrenches Thekla off the corner. Thekla fights free, winds up, but Kris dodges! DISCUS LARIAT! Cover, TWO!
Thekla survives and Kris is beside herself! Kris stares Thekla down through that crimson mask. They fire forearms back and forth, but then Thekla SPITS at Kris! Kris uses the strap to cravat Thekla for the short arm LARIAT! Kris then winds up to LASH Thekla again and again! Kris drags Thekla up, BLUE THUNDER BOMB! Cover, TWO!! Thekla survives and Kris cannot believe it! The fans rally up even harder, and Kris winds up to lash herself?! Kris is all fired up now, and she BLUE- NO, Thekla fights free! Thekla slips around to LASH Kris on the back! Then Thekla CHOKES Kris again! But Kris avoids the stomp!
Kris reels Thekla back in, wraps her up, and LASHES her! And LASHES her! And then gut wrenches for the TOMBSTONE!! But SKYE BLUE rushes out here! She distracts the ref so that Julia Hart can slither in! But Kris dodges to LASH Julia! And she LASHES Skye! But Thekla reels Kris in for the SPIDER SPEAR!! Thekla then traps Kris’ hands with the strap! Kris sits up, into the CURB STOMP!! Cover, THEKLA WINS!!
Winner: Thekla, by pinfall (NEW AEW Women’s World Champion)
Even after all the blood, sweat and tears, it still took the Triangle of Madness to tear down The Cosmic Killer! The Toxic Spider has god, the Sisters of Sin beat up Kris, and Kris is all alone because Willow & Harley are already in Australia! BUT WAIT! Jamie Hayter & Alex Windsor are here! The Brawling Birds are armed with hammers and pipes! They scare off The Triangle of Madness, but Thekla still shows off the belt. Will things only get more and more toxic in AEW from here on out?
My Thoughts:
A great episode of Dynamite here as not only a go-home to Grand Slam: Australia but just in general. Great promo from Kenny and Swerve to put this grudge into perspective, and then great brawl to come of it and set up their match for next week. Very good promos from Andrade and Callis, as well as from Hangman, to hype up their match at Grand Slam. That match could probably go both ways, but I would think it is Hangman facing MJF at Revolution given their history and how World’s End went. Good promo from JetSpeed to say they’re gonna aim for other titles, a rare Three Man Power Trip could be an interesting story.
Great stuff with Don Callis Family, Death Riders and Conglomeration to hype up a lot of the Grand Slam card. That was a great Six Man Tag for Death Riders to get a lick back over DCF, but with Moxley scoring the fall, I wonder if this means things are now in Konosuke’s favor to win in Australia. Again, it’d make a lot of sense if they then A) have Konosuke and Okada fight to reunify the Unified Championship and B) have Death Riders mutiny and reject Moxley. Though, the latter might not be so clear anymore as Death Riders are helping the former War Dogs integrate with AEW.
Great tag of Garcia & Connors VS Cassidy & Roddy, and they were able to build multiple stories at once. Roddy ditching Cassidy has got to finally get it through to The Conglomeration that Roddy does not want any part of them. And then Cassidy overcoming the odds thanks to Darby is great for building another Darby VS Gabe match. But then to make sure the go-home match is a wash, Toni got a good promo in, only for Death Riders to beat Cassidy down and humiliate Mina. I still wonder if Mina “accidentally” costs Toni & Cassidy their hair. That mixed tag match will still be a lot of fun, and the result alone will be reason to watch.
Then we got a lot of great surprises in all the title related matches. Fletcher VS Ciampa was an instant classic, PPV level even, but at the same time, Fletcher winning out felt a little heavy-handed. Obviously this leads to Fletcher VS Briscoe 7 being made, but at least it’ll be a ladder match. That’ll be an awesome match, it could really go either way, and yeah, this better be the end of things for this feud for like, a solid year. And at this point, maybe it should be Kyle retaining. For one, they’re gonna be in Australia, the Australian fans should get to cheer Kyle as well as Harley & Willow. For another, Kyle and Ciampa can have a rematch at Revolution to do even crazier stuff than tonight.
Private Party returning for the Triple Threat tag is great, I don’t know why they weren’t back sooner unless it was for a legit injury or two. But then The Bucks still winning out is a shame for Private Party, but whatever, we’re getting Bucks VS FTR whatever number we’re on. No idea who wins out, but it’ll be another great match. And then Kris VS Thekla was a great main event with that strap match. Side note: AEW is doing the overrun so much for Dynamite, and now Grand Slam is gonna be 2.5 hours minimum, AEW really just wants to do a three hour TV show, huh? And I figured Thekla would win because of Julia & Skye. Classic Heel stuff, and now we can definitely get a rematch for Revolution. The Brawling Birds showing up was a nice touch, I wonder if they and Sisters of Sin have a match next week.

Lexy Nair is with The Protostar and brings up Tommaso Ciampa winning the TNT Championship. Kyle made it clear that night that Kyle wanted the TNT title back. But then Ciampa issued the open challenge, only for Kyle to skip it. That allowed Roderick Strong AND Claudio Castagnoli to answer it instead. Kyle says Ciampa wants to keep the tradition of the TNT Open Challenge alive, and yet he’s changing the rules so that it’s come one, come all, bring everyone and your grandma! Kyle does not respect that. Now, Roddy and Claudio have jumped Kyle in line, and… Kazuchika Okada steps in!
Kyle says hey, Okada says hi, and Okada says they’re family. Okada cares about Kyle’s success, unlike Takeshita, who is just so focused on himself and that Continental Championship. So Okada wants Kyle to walk into his home country for Grand Slam: Australia as the TNT Champion! Whoever wins tonight, Kyle should make it clear that he is next. Scorpio and Knight tie up, are in a deadlock, but Knight powers Scorpio to a corner. Scorpio turns it around, the ref counts, but the two go around along the ropes! They go in and out of corners, but then Knight traps Scorpio! The fans cheer, the ref counts, and Knight lets off. Knight and Scorpio reset, the two talk a littl emore trash, then they knuckle lock. They go shoulder to shoulder in a Test of Strenght, then Scorpio rolls to wrench and wristlock.
Knight stays on his feet to roll, handspring, and wrench. Knight WRINGS the arm, then drops a knee! The fans cheer but Scorpio reaches up to headscissor. Knight endures the squeeze, kips free, but Scorpio arm-drags back! Scorpio holds Knight down, but Knight rolls back. Scorpio wrenches again to headlock, but Knight powers up and out. Scorpio RUNS Knight down, taunts him a bit, then builds speed. Knight drops down, hurdles over, but Scorpio doesn’t leap over! Knight avoids the stomp with a kip up! Knight wags his finger and says, “Gotta be faster than that.” The fans cheer as Knight shows off the muscles.
Knight and Scorpio reset, but then Scorpio shows off his kip up, and his flexing! The fans cheer and Daniels says it’s running wild. Knight plays the bald card! The fans chant, “BALD! BALD! BALD!” Knight shows off the hair, but Scorpio CHOPS him! And CHOPS again! Knight CHOPS back! Scorpio pushes Knight to the corner, UPPERCUTS, then has him in another corner. Scorpio whips, Knight reverses, but Scorpio goes up. Knight stops Scorpio from going over to throw him onto the top rope! Scorpio lands where the sun don’t shine! Knight then triangle jump DROPKICKS! Scorpio falls off the rope and hits the edge of the ramp!
Daniels checks Scorpio, tells him to take a breath, and Scorpio slowly sits up. Scorpio goes to the apron but Knight builds speed! Knight FLYING LARIATS Scorpio at the ramp! The fans fire up with Knight while Collision goes picture in picture!
Knight drags Scorpio up, TOSSES him into the ring, then hurries to sit Scorpio up. Knight SLAPS Scorpio’s bald head, then runs for a SLIDING SHOULDER TACKLE! Cover, TWO! Scorpio toughs it out but Knight stays on him with a chinlock. Scorpio endures, but Knight drags him back by an arm for a leg drop! Then a short arm scissor! The cars pull up to the rooftop of this parking garage, and The Mad King leads the way for Dezmond Xavier, Zachary Wentz, and “Monkey.” They’re ready to square off with The Redwood, The Bounty Hunter, Liverpool’s Number One & Mr. Mayhem! It’s time to settle the score, but who will be leaving Las Vegas completely busted?
Eddie starts by chucking a trash can then running up! The bell rings as the hands start flying! Eddie SMACKS Drake off a car hood, Keith dodges a chain fist, and then Drake dodges a sledgehammer! That window is busted open, but Drake CLAWS Eddie’s face! And then he SMACKS Eddie with that trash can! Bill knocks Zach down, Ortiz TRASH CANS Gibson! Eddie HAMMERS Drake down low, then DIGS the hammer’s claw into Drake’s forehead! Bill runs up on Zach, but Zach dodges, so Bill boots bumper! Bill still comes back, Zach dodges again, and Bill boots a side mirror off! Bill is furious, he grabs his backpack, and he brings out a brick!
Bill CHUCKS the brick but Zach dodges! Another window is smashed out! Zach SMACKS Bill with a trash can lid! And SMACKS him again! Ortiz SLAMS the car hood closed on Gibson again and again! Then he BACK SUPLEXES Gibson onto the hood! Keith SMACKS Dez off the limousine trunk, but then Zach SMACKS Keith with a trash can lid! Ortiz has a kendo stick to SMACK Gibson! The Rascalz get up on top of the limo, Ortiz lines up Gibson & Keith for them, and HOT FIRE FLAME!! Down go Gibson & Keith, but Bill BOOTS Zach and DECKS Ortiz! Dez CROSSBODIES, but into Bill’s arms!
Dez panics as Bill winds up, and RAMS him into the side of the limo! And RAMS him into it again! And then SLAMS him onto the trunk! Bill CLUBS away on Dez, Ortiz SMACKS Gibson with the trash can lid, but Bill kicks Zach down. Bill scoops Dez, pops him up to a fireman’s carry, and gorilla press! Bill THROWS Dez over the limo! Did he at least land safe on the roof?! Bill doesn’t seem to care while Collision goes picture in picture.
Drake knocks Eddie down, and he hobbles over to ROCK Ortiz. Zach ROCKS Drake, Drake ROCKS Zach, and Drake fires more hands. Keith CLAWS Ortiz’s face! Bill CHOKES Eddie! Drake sends Zach into a mirror! Gibson SMACKS Ortiz off a hood, then SMACKS him with a trash can! Drake SMACKS Ortiz with the lid! Bill CHOKES Zach with a kendo stick! Drake stomps Eddie down! Keith ROCKS Zach! Gibson ROCKS Ortiz! Gibson CHOKES Ortiz, fires body shots, and Drake finds Dez! Drake CHOKES Dez, but Eddie is up to fire fast hands! Gibson RAMS Eddie into a limo! Keith CHOKES Zach, then holds him up for Drake to CRACK with a crowbar!
Drake CLAWS at Zach’s bloody forehead while Bill CHOKE SLAMS Ortiz on a hood!! GYV’s team is in control while Collision goes to break.
Collision returns and Keith runs up on Dez! Dez dodges, that claw hammer sticks into the trunk! Dez HEADBUTTS Keith! Dez pries the hammer free, winds up, but Keith has a ballpeen hammer! Keith CLUBS Dez’s arm with it! Then CRACKS him in the side! Keith opens the limo door, he shoves Dez inside, but what’s all that smoke? Zach CHUCKS a trash can at Keith! Then he shoves Keith in the limo! Zach shrugs, jumps in, and The Rascalz get to hot box Keith! Gibson and Drake meanwhile regroup with Bill. But Eddie CRACKS them all with a kendo stick! Ortiz joins in as he CLUBS Drake! Bill BOOTS Eddie, Ortiz CLUBS Bill!
Bill UPPERCUTS Ortiz, then drags him up to HAMMER away! Bill snarls, and then Keith gets out of the limo! Keith is coughing, but Zach taunts him as a “lightweight.” SUPERKICK! Dez is up on the roof again, and he SHOOTING STAR ATTACKS! Down goes Keith! Then The Rascalz put the trash can on Keith, to DOUBLE SUPERKICK him down! Drake CHUCKS a kendo stick at Dez! Zach jumps on Drake for a SLEEPER! Dez SMACKS Drake with that kendo stick! And SMACK him again! And again! The stick is broken but now The Rascalz drag Drake onto a car! But Bill reaches up to YANK Dez down, then trip Zach up!
Bill SMACKS Zach off the car hood, then climbs up to join him! Bill guzels Zach, Drake says finish it! CHOKE SLAM on the windshield!! Zach writhes in agony, but Gibson holds Dez up! Drake takes aim, GRIZZLED DOOMSDAY onto the concrete!! BUT EDDIE RUNS UP! Eddie ROCKS Drake, fires off on Gibson, and Ortiz uses PLYWOOD to SMACK Bill! Eddie fires HEADBUTT after HEADBUTT on a bloody Gibson, then he LOW BLWOS Drake using the wood! Ortiz pushes Bill onto the limo, Eddie joins in, and they get him up for a DOUBLE SUPLEX on the limo roof! Eddie shouts that sucked for him, too!
Eddie huffs ‘n’ puffs, but he dares GYV to bring it! Eddie & Ortiz fire hands with GYV! Eddie & Ortiz get the edge, but then GYV DOUBLE LOW BLOW!! Then Gibson uses his scarf to CHOKE Eddie! Drake helps out, and Gibson says this is how it started, so this is how it’ll end! But Ortiz has a jumper cable! He CHOKES GYV with it! But wait, who his this sneaking out of one of the cars? ISLA DAWN!? She CLOBBERS Ortiz with sheetrock!! The White Witch has gone wicked, and she pushes Ortiz around. Gibson drags Ortiz up, and says to remember this moment! But wait, to counter Isla, Eddie’s got MYRON! Myron LEAPS out and CANNONBALLS onto GYV!!
Isla storms up on Myron, he blocks her pipe, and he fireman’s carries her out of play! Then Eddie has Ortiz get Drake up! POWERBOMB onto the trunk!! Eddie has Gibson, DDT on the car roof!! Eddie covers, Eddie’s team wins!!

Backstage interview with Roderick Strong.
Lexy Nair is with the Savior of the Backbreaker and brings up Tommaso Ciampa’s Open Challenge being answered by both him and Claudio Castagnoli. Clearly not what Roddy expected, but he still has the title shot. “LEXYYY~! What a great observation. Things lately haven’t been going the way I expected, that’s why a change is very necessary. And that is why I answered Tommaso Ciampa’s TNT Open Challenge.” Mark Briscoe steps in, and he apologizes for interrupting. But he loves Roddy taking the initiative for answering the Open Challenge. It’ll be one hell of a fight. Just like how last week, Briscoe and Ciampa had a hell of a fight.
Briscoe says hey, he really believes Roddy has what it takes to become the TNT Champion. Just like Briscoe thinks he still has what it takes to become TNT Champion when he gets another shot. But one way or another, whoever comes out of this champion, when the night is over, if it’s Roddy, just do Briscoe a solid and give his fellow Conglomerator the first shot. Roddy says thanks for the words of encouragement. But Roddy’s not in The Conglomeration. Roddy storms off, Briscoe is speechless, but will this all be a moot point if Roddy doesn’t win?
AEW TNT Championship Triple Threat: Tommaso Ciampa VS Roderick Strong VS Claudio Castagnoli!
The introductions are made, “Silvey” is raised, and we see who is the Face of TNT after this high stakes Collision!
The bell rings and Roddy fires right off on Claudio, unfinished business from their CMLL World Heavyweight Championship match! Ciampa goes after Roddy, Roddy ROCKS him, but Claudio UPPERCUTS Roddy! Claudio headlocks, Roddy powers up and out, and Ciampa TOSSES Claudio out! The fans fire up as Ciampa and Roddy stare down, and then the CHOPS start flying! The fans “WOO~” as the CHOPS go again and again, then Ciampa TOSSES Roddy out! Claudio is there to catch Roddy! Claudio then pops Roddy up for SNAKE EYES off the apron! The fans cheer that, then Claudio storms into the ring to face Ciampa.
The fans fire up with “BALD! BALD!” while the forearms fly! Neither man backs down, and Ciampa then BOOTS! Claudio eggs Ciampa on so he BOOTS again! Claudio blocks to UPPERCUT! Claudio fires up, the fans cheer, and Claudio runs, but into a BOOT! Ciampa runs, but Roddy is back to DROPKICK him down! Claudio LARIATS Roddy down! Claudio soaks up cheers and jeers, then he swaggers a bit while he waits on the others. Roddy sits up so Claudio brings him up. Claudio UPPERCUTS Roddy to a corner, then he whips Ciampa in! Claudio runs up and he UPPERCUTS them both! Then he whips Ciampa corner to corner to UPPERCUT!
Roddy runs up, dodges Claudio, and he KNEES Ciampa in the corner! Claudio comes back, but both Roddy and Ciampa dodge! Roddy runs side to side to ROCK Claudio, ROCK Ciampa, but then Ciampa LEBOWS Roddy! Ciampa dragon sleepers Claudio, catches Roddy, FLATLINER REVERSE DDT COMBO! The fans fire up while all three men are down! Roddy goes to a corner, Ciampa rises at center and he stomps Claudio. The fans duel as Ciampa CHOPS and ROCKS Claudio, then ROCKS him again. But Claudio CHOPS in return! The CHOPS go back and forth, then Ciampa makes it about SLAP after SLAP!
Claudio fires forearms, then a knee down low! Claudio reels Ciampa in, then kicks Roddy. Claudio has them both, but they fight the double suplex! They DOUBLE SUPELX Claudio instead! The fans fire up while Claudio tumbles out. Roddy then DECKS Ciampa! Ciampa goes to the apron, Roddy is after him, and they fire off CHOPS! The fans rally as the CHOPS go back and forth. Ciampa kicks low, fireman’s carries, but Roddy fights free! Roddy ROCKS Ciampa, Claudio YANKS Ciampa into a fireman’s carry, but then Roddy WRECKS them both with a dropkick! The fans fire up as Roddy sends Claudio into railing! And then CLUBS him!
Roddy brings Claudio around, reels him in, but Claudio fights the lift! Claudio SMACKS Roddy off the railing, then tells fans to move! The fans do what they can before Claudio GOURD BUSTERS Roddy on the railing! The fans cheer but then Claudio spots Ciampa. Claudio runs up, Ciampa drop toeholds him into a chair! Then a KNEE LIFT for Roddy! Ciampa runs back at Claudio, but into a gorilla press! And Claudio aims to THROW Ciampa on the desk! Ciampa falls in a heap while the fans are thunderous, and Collision goes picture in picture!
Claudio is feeling good while he goes back for Roddy. Claudio drags Roddy up, makes him take a seat, and then dumps him into the front row! Roddy sputters on the floor while Claudio goes back to Ciampa. Claudio pushes Ciampa in the ring, then goes to the railing so he can DOUBLE STOMP Roddy down! Claudio goes back to the ring, goes up a corner, and he AX HANDLES Ciampa! Claudio soaks up cheers and jeers while he paces around. Claudio clamps onto Ciampa with a chinlock, then shifts to a neck wrench. Ciampa endures while Roddy sputters on the outside. Ciampa BITES Claudio’s hand!
Ciampa fires hands on Claudio but Claudio UPPERCUTS him down! Claudio then runs to BOOT Roddy back into the crowd! The Swiss Cyborg is truly a machine as he goes back for Ciampa. Claudio scoops and SLAMS Ciampa! Then ELBOW DROPS! Cover, TWO! Ciampa toughs it out but Claudio keeps on him with a chinlock. Ciampa endures, fights up, and fights around. The fans cheer him on, and Roddy flounders back to ringside. Ciampa rises up but Claudio KNEES him low! Collision returns to single picture and Claudio takes aim. Claudio runs corner to corner, but into a BOOT! Claudio UPPERCUTS Ciampa down!
The fans rally as Claudio goes up the corner, stands Ciampa up, and deadlift SUPER- NO, Ciampa fights the superplex to land on the corner! They brawl up top, but Roddy is in! Ciampa CHOPS Claudio and Claudio falls, into Roddy’s ATOMIC FACEBUSTER! Then Roddy sees Ciampa leap, and he DROPKICKS Ciampa outta the sky! The fans fire up as Roddy hooks Ciampa up, BACKBREAKER! Then the underhooks, TIGER DRIVER! High stack, TWO! But Roddy has the legs! STRONG HOLD!! Ciampa endures as Roddy sits deep! The fans rally as Ciampa reaches out, and Claudio runs up to BOOT Roddy!
Roddy not only holds onto Ciampa, but he SPITS at Claudio and eggs him on! Claudio UPPERCUTS Roddy and that knocks him down! Claudio drags Ciampa up, but Roddy stops the suplex! Roddy kicks low, he and Ciampa work together again, but Claudio fights the suplex! Claudio powers up to DOUBLE SUPLEX Roddy and Ciampa! The fans fire up and we hit the 10 minute mark, aka the halfway point! Even then, fans hope these three “Fight Forever!” Claudio runs up, Ciampa DUMPS him out, but Claudio HOTSHOTS him! Claudio UPPERCUTS Roddy down, then storms into the ring! But Ciampa has Claudio in ropes! WILLOW’S BELL!
Ciampa hurries to underhooks Claudio, FAIRYTALE ENDING! Cover, TWO!! Claudio survives so this story continues! Ciampa brings down his kneepad, and he aims at Claudio! PSYCHO- NO! Claudio blocks the knee, SPINEBUSTERS, then he SWINGS Ciampa around! Roddy is back in and he times it to DROPKICK Ciampa outta the swing! STRONG- NO, Claudio stops the jump knee to POP-UP UPPERCUT!! Cover, CIAMPA stops the ref! Claudio is furious, he gets Roddy up, but Roddy BACKDROPS free! Claudio lands out, but the STRONG KNEE hits! Another STRONG KNEE and Claudio is down! Cover, PSYCHO KNEE!! Cover, CIAMPA WINS!!
Winner: Tommaso Ciampa, by pinfall (still AEW TNT Champion)
The Psycho Killer snatches victory from the jaws of defeat, but he doesn’t get to celebrate as Kyle Fletcher makes his way out here. The fans are torn as the Protostar struts right down the ramp and into the ring. Kyle SNATCHES the belt from the ref, looks at it, then hands it to Ciampa. Fletcher is following Okada’s advice, and he has a mic to ask Ciampa, “How does it feel, champ? How does it feel to be All Elite? How does it feel to know that you will never fill my shoes?” The fans boo, but Kyle says forgive him, they haven’t been formally introduced, have they? He is the greatest TNT Champion of all time, The Protostar, KYLE FLETCHER!
And Kyle was more than happy to take the title back from that “delinquent,” Mark Briscoe, but Ciampa has thrown a spanner in the works. Now the only thing Kyle wants more than to become a TWO-TIME TNT Champion is to walk into his hometown of Sydney, Australia, one week from tonight. Kyle wants to walk into Grand Slam and get the hero’s welcome he deserves! The fans boo that but Kyle says he has a challenge for Mr. Ciampa. Next week on Dynamite, for the first-time-ever, Fletcher VS Ciampa for the TNT Championship! The fans do like that idea! Ciampa nods, then he holds up “Silvey.” Then he gives Kyle a peck on the cheek! Challenge accepted!
Ciampa goes to leave but Kyle says hold on a sec, mate. Ciampa said he came here because this is where the best wrestle? Well, next Wednesday, Ciampa finds out what the best really looks like! Mic drop from the Aussie Arrow, but will he strike gold in the Golden State? Or will Ciampa make sure “Silvey” isn’t going anywhere?
My Thoughts:
A great Collision with quite a bit put together for not just Grand Slam: Australia but also Dynamite in Ontario, California. The tag match of Bucks VS Gates went about how I expected, aka Bucks winning. With that, FTR of course had to speak. Their promo would make you think we’re getting the obvious FTR VS Bucks title match, but I’d love if that wild card team was a team that could believably win the Triple Threat and the tag titles. This could be the best possible place for Edge- er, Cope & Christian to return and get their shot at FTR. C&C VS FTR at Revolution would be a great match to finally cap off that feud from last year.
Very good promo from Brody and a great promo from MJF in response. Obviously with Dynamite being that distraction-squash what have you, Grand Slam is gonna give us a real main event level match from Brody VS MJF. But as I said on Dynamite, feels like MJF will survive to stay champion, even cheating to the max (no pun intended) to do it. Then MJF will likely face Hangman at Revolution and who knows how that goes. Hook had a good promo to let us know he will be captain of Opps for right now. Given Samoa Joe is hurt and Will Hobbs is now Royce Keys in WWE, I wouldn’t mind if Hook makes the executive decision to bring in at least one new Opps member, like someone doing well on ROH who can be “called up” to AEW.
Great match from Knight VS Scorpio, but I’m a little surprised we got this over a match with a Don Callis Family member. Good match from Mina VS Viva, but of course Mina won. The overlap of Death Riders showing up as she was exiting was good stuff, too. Very good Mixed Tag, and Yuta sure loves getting heat, it’s why he was always going after Zayda. Yuta threatening to cut Zayda’s hair to bring out Toni & Cassidy was good stuff, though, and I think Mina is going to end up a factor in the Mixed Tag. I would think she goes out there hoping to help Toni & Cassidy, but then she costs them. Though, a shaved Cassidy, or even wilder, a shaved Toni… I don’t know if they’d really pull that…
Very good promo from Kris and Triangle of Madness, in that it was an attack that then led to Kris upping the ante. Though, Thekla still having a match tonight was a bit redundant since we saw her beat up on Kris and then she absolutely squashes Brooks. I would’ve figured out how to segue from Thekla’s squash into Kris’ promo, or just flip the order completely so that Thekla squashes Brooks then attacks Kris. Either way, a Strap Match between Thekla and Kris is going to be awesome, maybe even a show stealer, and could honestly go either way. Perhaps Thekla wins on Dynamite, making her and Kris 1-1, with Revolution being the tiebreaker.
Great Parking Lot Brawl, and I like that they went with the rooftop of the parking garage. The very moment I wondered if they’d kayfabe someone being thrown off the roof, Bill threw Dez over the limo into a space we couldn’t see. But no, Dez was safe on the other side of the limo, but he didn’t make as dramatic of a reappearance as he could’ve. I did like that the limo was all smokey so they could joke about the marijuana. Isla getting involved to then motivate Myron getting involved was good stuff, too, and we got a great win for the Faces from this. I would think this is the end to the feud, there’s not much more you can do after something like this.
And great stuff with the TNT Championship tonight. Okada and Kyle had a good promo, and the Passive Aggressive Rainmaker is certainly an unexpected route for slow-burn building to Okada VS Takeshita. Great little promo from Briscoe and Roddy, with Roddy being a bit more forceful about how he’s NOT Conglomeration. Great Triple Threat for the main event, great win for Ciampa, but then great promo from Kyle to close us out and make their title match official. Now, I know they’ve teased Fletcher VS Briscoe Game 7, but I kinda want them to push on that a little longer for the sake of keeping this TNT “Division” more lively.
