QUICK NOTES

Some pretty clear outcomes on this one, but I do like that we’re seeing the Renegade sisters back in AEW. Maybe they’ll get a chance to be a tag team one of these days.

AFTER WATCHING

An hour and 15 for 13 matches, another night where matches are basically five minutes on average. Sonny Kiss has a promo at 23 minutes in response to Joey Janela, and then we get a Wingmen promo at 33:51. Janela interrupts Sonny and disingenuously wishes him happy holidays before the “public execution” that will be their No Holds Barred match next week. That will definitely be must-see. The Wingmen pretend Cezar Bononi is Santa and they give him their Christmas wishes. Bononi says their gift is they’re gonna beat Best Friends for next week’s Dark Before New Year’s. Yeah it’s definitely going the other way on that one.
