A good set of matches here, and we’re definitely going to see Lance Archer destroy Liam Cross. Archer’s back in action, he’ll buff up that win-loss record so that he’ll also be seen as a contender to the AEW World Championship, not just getting a shot from beating Hangman Page down last week.

AFTER WATCHING

Hmm, the most interesting thing is that there originally was 12 matches for this. Brock Anderson & Lee Johnson VS Waves and Curls was supposed to be on this episode but apparently something changed there. Not sure why, other than AEW advertising didn’t realize it wasn’t going to be part of this week’s episode. Other than that, everything else went as expected, and I like that Cassidy & Yuta got the main event win. They’re getting back into things with Cole’s buddies, this is good momentum for Cassidy & Statlander VS Cole & Britt.
