Just as Trent Beretta and Rocky Romero were feeling good on a Wednesday, the Super Kliq and Jay White jumped them. But not even a Bullet Club reunion was going to delay the Roppongi Vice reunion another week! This rivalry is renewed, will Trent & Rocky or Matt & Nick come out on top this time?

The teams sort out, Trent and Nick start and the two circle. Nick kicks Trent low, then sucker punches Rocky! Trent ROCKS Nick, CHOPS him, then whips him to ropes. Nick ducks and hurdles but Trent elbows him out of the ring! Rocky leaps off the steps to FLYING RANA! Rocky puts Nick in for Trent but Nick gets away. Nick throws a fit, tags in Matt, but Trent dodges to ROCK Matt! Rocky hits Matt, Matt pinballs between RPG Vice! Trent CHOPS Matt down, and tags in Rocky! Fans fire up as RPG Vice double body shot, JUMP KNEE and LARIAT! Cover, Nick breaks it! Nick kicks Trent and bumps him off buckles.

Matt has Rocky in the corner, they whip RPG Vice at each other, but RPG Vice dosido and corner clothesline the Bucks! Rocky wheelbarrows Trent to combine, RUNINNG KNEES! RPG Vice clothesline Nick out, but Matt throat chops them both! Matt runs, into DOUBLE JUMP KNEES! Fans fire up as the Bucks are both out, and RPG Vice high-five! The Bucks throw a fit, but they’re leaving? Cassidy doesn’t get it, but RPG Vice pursue! The Bucks sucker them into DOUBLE SUPERKICKS! The Bucks then run back to the ring as the count starts! The ref counts, Rocky stirs and staggers down the ramp but takes a tumble.

The count is 5 of 10, Rocky flounders. Cassidy “rallies” them up, Rocky gets up and in at 9.9! Matt is furious, but he drags Rocky up. Matt bumps Rocky off buckles, tags Nick, and the Bucks hit GUTBUSTER to NECKBREAKER BACKBREAKER COMBO! Headscissor dropkick for Trent! Fans rally, Nick kicks Rocky to a corner. Tag to Matt, the Bucks drag Rocky up to whip him out of the ring! The Bucks knuckle lock and monkey flip to MOONSAULT onto RPG Vice! Fans fire up, that was great stuff! Cassidy gets in the Bucks’ face, but then he goes under the ring? Thumbs up, from DANHAUSEN!

Fans fire up as Danhausen CURSES the Bucks! RPG Vice DOUBLE DIVE! Cassidy returns, very nice, very evil. High fives and fist bumps all around! Matt and Rocky are in the ring, SLICED BREAD! Cover, TWO! Rocky keeps cool as AEW goes picture in picture.

Rocky CHOPS Matt, brings him around, ROCKS him with a right, then fires off more forearms. Rocky CHOPS again, then ROCKS Matt with an uppercut. Rocky whips, Matt slides out, Rocky slides out but Nick PENALTY KICKS! Matt taunts Trent, Trent DECKS him! Trent DECKS Nick too! Trent aims but Nick avoids the plancha! Matt WRECKS Trent with a dropkick, then skins the cat! Nick drags Rocky up, makes eyes at the camera, then Matt gets Trent. They each put on out, APRON POWERBOMBS in stereo! The Bucks soak it all in, and Cutler even sprays them down. Nick puts Rocky in for Matt as AEW returns to single picture.

Matt mocks RPG Vice, fires up the fans and runs around on the apron. Matt pretends to want the tag from Rocky, “tags” himself in, and then fires off hands on Rocky! JAB after JAB then a big wind up for a LARIAT! Matt pumps up, tags Nick in, and they each take a corner. They mock Best Friends by having a HUG! Got to give the people what they want? Rocky hops up to DOUBLE RANA! Then he DOUBLE LARIATS! Trent is back on the corner! Hot tag and Trent rallies on the Bucks! HALF ‘N’ HALF for Matt! Corner elbow for Nick, then a TORNADO DDT! Fans fire up with Trent and he aims at Nick.

Nick staggers, Matt drags Trent out! Trent gets around, HALF ‘N’ HALF to the floor! Nick goes to the apron, but Trent blocks the kick to an Electric Chair! Rocky adds on, JUMP KNEE DOOMSDAY! Fans fire up and Cassidy calls for something. Trent puts Nick in, tags Rocky, and Rocky goes up. Trent hangs Nick out to dry for DOUBLE STOMPS! SLIDING KNEE!! Cover, TWO!! Nick survives the onslaught but Rocky tags Trent back in. Trent stalks Nick, CLUBS him down, then waistlocks. GERMAN SUPLEX but Nick lands on his feet! ROUNDHOUSE! GERMAN SUPLEX! Trent’s right back up, GERMAN SUPLEX on Nick!

Trent snarls, waistlocks and deadlifts, but Matt saves Nick! Rocky gets in, DOUBLE GERMAN SUPLEXES! RPG Vice are fired up, they run, into DOUBLE SUPERKICKS! But they keep going, DOUBLE LARIATS! All four men are down and fans are thunderous! A standing count begins, Trent and Nick tag in Rocky and Matt! Rocky fires off forearms but Matt throws haymakers! They go back and forth, Rocky ROCKS Matt but Matt gets the edge with fast hands! JUMP KNEE from Rocky! Matt ducks the enziguri but not the HEEL KICK! Rocky cravats and runs, but no Sliced Bread! Matt has Rocky, but Rocky victory rolls, TWO!!

Matt hurries to fireman’s carry, but Rocky kicks and flails! Trent tags in before the ROLLING SENTON! Nick 450 SPLASHES onto knees! Trent goes up after Matt, SUPER GERMAN SUPLEX!! Trent gets Matt up fast, tucks him in, STRONG ZERO! Cover, Nick barrels in to break it! “This is Awesome!” and Trent tags in Rocky! Rocky goes up, Trent drags Matt up, Electric Chair Lift. DOOMSDAY but Matt lands on his feet! SUPERKICK! SUPERKICK! Gut wrench on Rocky, Nick springboards in, MELZTER DRIVER!! Cover, Trent breaks it!! Atlantic City can’t believe it! Cutler sprays the Bucks down while Cassidy checks on Rocky. Cutler films Cassidy, Cassidy notices the idiot. The cold spray does nothing to the glasses. Cassidy fires off the shin kicks. Then he dodges Cutler to ORANGE PUNCH! The Bucks get in, DOUBLE SUPERKICKS! Trent gets back in to run the Bucks off, but the damage has been done! Wait, Jay White gets in! BLADERUNNER on Trent!! The Switchblade on Rampage, who would’ve thought? Will AEW continue to get Too Sweet in the coming days?

Ricky Starks speaks.

He’s on commentary, but he has news about “Powerhouse” Will Hobbs. The deal is, there’s been a lot going on between Team Taz and Dante Martin. Starks is wanting to get it over with. So next week, as Rampage has its special time of 7 PM Eastern, it will be Hobbs VS Dante in a Face of the Revolution Ladder Match Qualifier! And Starks promises that his man takes it all the way home. Dante, you’re going home!

Backstage interview with Bryan Danielson.

Tony Schiavone brings up that Bryan is waiting on his response from Jon Moxley. Bryan knows what people want. They want Bryan to be bothered, perturbed, and that Moxley teaming up with CM Punk was a rejection of the offer. No, Moxley just likes the fight. Bryan’s offer and CM Punk’s offer were two entirely different things. Bryan wants a long term relationship to build AEW. Mox & Punk was just a one night stand. Matt Sydal & Lee Moriarty walk over, and Sydal “apologizes” for interrupting. Bryan, you bothered Sydal by saying Moriarty should abandon his mentorship for Bryan’s.

Bryan wants Sydal to not misinterpret things. Bryan has an infinite amount of respect for Sydal and the things he can do. He’s surely an excellent coach. But what Moriarty needs, Sydal can’t teach. Moriarty needs to learn violence. Moriarty speaks up to say that he doesn’t need them talking about him like he’s not here. If Bryan wants to see violence, Moriarty can show him violence. See that? That’s what Bryan wants to see: someone stepping up. Bryan wants Moriarty to show him just how much violence he’s got, this Wednesday on Dynamite, in a match with BRYAN DANIELSON! The American Dragon heads out, is he about to slay Tyga Style?

Britt Baker w/ Rebel VS Robyn Renegade!

While she may be sending Mercedes Martinez after Thunder Rosa, the AEW Women’s World Champion still has to handle her own business. Will the Doctor stay as spotless as her teeth? Or will she get caught off guard by a Renegade?

The bell rings and Robyn mocks the DMD. They tie up, Robyn gets around, headlocks and hits the takeover, but Britt endures. Britt fights up, Robyn shifts her grip but Britt drop toeholds to float to a headlock. Robyn endures now, fights up, but Britt gets an arm to yank Robyn to a cover. TWO, but Britt wrenches to a wristlock. Robyn rolls, wrenches back, but Britt wrenches back to a double wristlock takeover! Cover, TWO! Britt still has the arm, and then hits a NORTHERN LIGHTS! Cover, TWO! Britt rains down fists, the ref reprimands and Britt argues with her. Robyn gets up to ENZIGURI!

Robyn talks some trash, CHOPS Britt, and CHOPS, and CHOPS! Robyn whips, Britt reverses but Robyn dodges to whip again. Britt reverses again, then spins Robyn around. Robyn fights the suplex off and whips Britt to a corner. Robyn runs in, Britt dodges and knees hit buckle! Britt throws Robyn down, then stomps away! Fans cheer and jeer as the ref counts, and Britt lets off as AEW goes picture in picture.

Britt stands on Robyn at the ropes, the ref counts but Britt lets off. Rebel chokes Robyn behind the ref’s back! Britt comes back and drags Robyn up to double underhook and BUTTERFLY SUPLEX! Britt grins, then rains down elbows on Robyn before the cover. TWO, and Britt pushes Robyn around. Britt chokes Robyn on the ropes! The ref counts, Britt lets off at 4, and she comes back to stand Robyn up. Robyn throws body shots but Britt ROCKS her back. Britt DECKS Robyn, then drags her back up. Britt smirks, Robyn throws body shots! Britt throws Robyn by her hair! Britt drags Robyn up, throws more forearms, then stalks Robyn to a corner.

Britt fires off more forearms, lets off as the ref counts, and then swaggers back. Robyn shoves Britt, ROCKS her in return, but Britt kicks the legs out! Britt stomps Robyn to the corner, drags her around and talks trash, to then throw her down by her hair! Britt swaggers around, taunts the fans, and then wraps Robyn up in a chinlock as AEW goes to break.

AEW returns, Britt ROCKS Robyn with a right! Britt says, “D, M, D.” But Robyn throws body shots and then throws Britt down! And again! Robyn runs in at the corner, SHOTGUN dropkick! Robyn runs in again, DOUBLE KNEES! Robyn shoves Britt down, goes to the corner and climbs up top! Robyn FROG SPLASHES! Cover, TWO!! Britt survives and Rebel is relieved. Robyn drags Britt up, reels her in, but Britt fights the suplex. Gator roll, SUPERKICK! Britt sits Robyn up to SUPERKICK again! Britt taunts Robyn, pie faces her, then stands her up. Robyn shoves back, but Britt spins her for a ROLLING ELBOW!

Britt gets the leg, FISHERMAN SCREW! Robyn flounders, Britt pushes her and runs, CURB STOMP!! Cover, Britt wins!

Rebel gets in to celebrate with Britt, and then presents her with the glove! Britt isn’t done with Robyn, she’s gonna teach the Renegade a lesson! LOCKJAW!! Roby’s already got a bloody mouth, but here comes THUNDER ROSA! La Mera Mera CLOBBERS Rebel, then gets in to TACKLE Britt! Rosa knows who the mastermind is behind all this, she fires off hands! But here comes Jamie Hayter! Hayter finally gets out there to CLOBBER Rosa! Hayter hauls Rosa up, IRISH CURSE BACKBREAKER! Mercedes show sup, she pushes Hayter aside to rain down on Rosa! Hayter pushes Mercedes, and Britt’s henchwomen are arguing!

Britt keeps the peace and has them hug it out. Well, she hugs each of them, but they still glare at each other. Will Mercedes get the job done against La Mera Mera? Or will Rosa rip through her to get at Britt once again?

AEW hears from Leyla Hirsch and Kris Statlander.

Leyla says Statlander called her unprofessional, but she didn’t even need to use the chair on her. She wanted to. Leyla knows her story, who she is. She had to cross her fingers and pray every single day just to get adopted. What’s Statlander’s story? The Galaxy’s Greatest Alien says Leya’s unprofessional because it is childish behavior. If this is how Leyla was as a kid, no wonder her parents gave her up. Statlander’s struggles are her business, so don’t you ever undermine her abilities. But Leyla promises that the next beating she gives Statlander, Statlander will know exactly how LEGIT Leyla Hirsch is.

Hook VS Blake Li w/ QT Marshall!

The Cold Hearted Handsome Devil of Team Taz solo’d Aaron Solo, then threw QT Marshall like he was nothing! Will The Factory’s top student be able to do any better? Or will he just taste the Redrum?

The bell rings and fans rally behind Hook. Hook and Blake circle, tie up, Hook gets around and gets a leg to trip Blake up. Blake gets up in a huff, circles with Hook, and Blake shoots in, only for Hook to sprawl and facelock! Hook fires off shots, then cravats! Blake scrambles, ROPEBREAK! The ref counts, Hook lets off at 3. Hook keeps cool, then stomps a mudhole and fires off heavy hands in the corner! Hook even HEADBUTTS! Hook whips, Blake reverses but Hook flips through the hip toss to get around, gut wrench, EL CAMINO! Fans fire up as Hook paces around Blake. Hook gets Blake up to bump him off buckles.

Hook gets Blake for a DEEP Uchimata throw! Then the wrench, overhook armlock, but QT gets on the apron! QT shouts at Hook, Hook lets off to glare at him. QT bails, but Hook turns around into Blake’s elbow! Blake goes up, leaps, but Hook just steps back and dodges! Hook paces around, drags Blake up to the high crotch T-BONE SUPLEX! Hook looms over Blake, reels him in, for HEAVY crossface forearms! QT is mad, Hook gets Blake in REDRUM! Blake taps, Hook wins!

Undefeated, and not even stressed. QT is upset as Hook just walks away. Will QT decide to just walk away from teaching Hook a lesson?

Mark Henry talks with our main eventers.

He points out the Gunn Club are undefeated in the AEW Tag Division, and notes Christian Cage said Austin & Colten had yet to make enough of a statement. Billy Gunn says that’s true, when he came to talk to Christian, man to man, Christian said they weren’t worthy. Well, Christian should think twice now that he got his ass beat. Then they made another statement in beating Jungle Boy’s ass. And now tonight, they make the biggest statement of all when they walk out AEW Tag Team Champions.

Christian is so happy Billy’s shirt says “Say When,” because someone said that like 20 years ago. And here we are, 20 years later, congrats! He did it. He finally made a statement. But this is a good news, bad news situation. The good news: Gunn Club has their title match. Bad news: it’s back to the end of the line after the “Ass Boys” lose tonight! JB says, “Speaking of the Ass Boys… A great undefeated streak is something that people will remember for a lifetime. And what you guys have going here, well, it’s actually not one of those.” But what we will remember about them is that Atlantic City will make them feel at home with the loudest Ass Boys chant you’ve ever heard!

Billy covers his boys’ ears, Mark says there’s been enough talk. It’s time for the main event! Will Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus be unstoppable? Or will the Gunn Club prove them all wrong and become undefeated tag team champions?

The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and we see if these Ass Boys can become Ass Men!

The teams sort out and JB starts against Austin. Fans do chant, “ASS~ BOYS! ASS~ BOYS!” as JB promised, and he circles with Austin. They tie up, go around, and Austin puts JB in a corner. Austin lets off, JB shoves him and gets around to waistlock and mat return. JB floats to a facelock, Austin slips around, but JB wrenches to a wristlock. Austin is up, rolls, wrenches through, but JB handsprings and handsprings and wrenches back. Austin breaks free, headlocks, but JB powers out. Austin runs JB over, and he tells JB to SUCK IT. Fans boo, Austin runs but JB hurdles. Austin avoids the drop down, JB bucks the waistlock, and he tells Austin to SUCK IT!

Austin scrambles away and Billy gets on the apron to tell JB he can’t do that! Austin swings, JB dodges to CHOP! JB whips, Austin reverses but JB RANAS back! Austin flops out of the ring, Colten gets in, but JB CHOPS him! JB knuckle locks, goes up and up and rebounds to arm- NO! Colten blocks the arm-drag to whip, but the COMEBACKER takes Colten out! The Gunn Club regroups, fans chant for “Luchasaurus!” so JB tags him in! Luchasaurus comes in around the way and he double choke grips! He RAMS them into the apron, the Gunn Club gets in the ring, but Luchasaurus UPPERCUTS Colten!

Austin gets a SPLASH in the corner, then SNAKE EYES! Luchasaurus CHOPS Austin off his feet! Fans fire up, Luchasaurus drags Austin up and tags JB back in. JB goes up. Luchasaurus scoop SLAMS! JB knee-board SENTONS! Cover, TWO! JB brings Austin up and headlocks but Colten powers in as Austin powers out. Colten CLOBBERS JB! Fans boo but the Gunn Club soak it up as AEW goes picture in picture.

Colten drags JB up by his hair, puts him against ropes and LARIATS! And again! And again! JB flops down, Colten soaks up the heat, and Colten taunts Luchasaurus before bringing JB up. JB hits back but Colten DECKS him! Cover, TWO! Colten tags Austin, then bumps JB off buckles. Austin gets in to throw JAB after JAB. JB sits down, Austin soaks up heat, but the fans are clearly taunting him back. Austin is flustered, he drags JB up. Tag to Colten but JB is throwing hands. Colten stomps JB down, bumps him off buckles, then taunts JB. Colten whips JB corner to corner hard, and JB bounces off buckles.

Colten takes his time walking over to JB and brings him up. Colten dropkicks JB right down! Cover, TWO! Colten drags JB back, tags Austin, and Austin drops an elbow! Austin wraps JB up in a chinlock and grinds him to the mat. Fans rally as JB endures and fights his way up. But Austin wrangles JB right back down and squeezes tight. JB fights up again, throws body shots, but Austin CLUBS JB down. Austin CLUBS JB more and more, then stays between JB and Luchasaurus. Austin brings JB up, whips him to ropes, and CLOBBERS him with an elbow! AEW returns to single picture as Austin wraps on another headlock.

JB fights up and throws body shots, then a JAWBREAKER! Austin runs at JB, but JB TOSSES him out! Colten got a tag as that happened, and he runs in at JB, only to miss! But Austin CHOP BLOCKS Luchasaurus on the corner! Colten drags JB up for a back suplex! Colten staggers up, tags Austin, and Austin taunts Luchasaurus. Austin gets too close, Luchasaurus grabs him! Austin breaks free, but JB SNAP GERMANS! Colten tags in, he whips JB away, COMEBACKER misses! Colten gets JB up, whips, but JB SUPERKICKS! Colten wobbles, JB slides under, hot tag to Luchasaurus! Fans fire up as Luchasaurus rallies on Gunn Club!

Luchasaurus CHOPS and CHOPS and BOOTS the Gunn Club, then TOSSES Colten to a corner. Luchasaurus TOSSES Austin to the other corner! Back body block for Colten, then corner to corner to back body block Austin! Luchasaurus hits another on Colten! Austin avoids one, but DOUBLE LARIATS take Gunn Club down! Fans are thunderous for Luchasaurus as he choke grips Austin. He choke grips Colten, but the Gunn Club get out of the choke slams! The Gunn Club bails out, but JB FLIES! Direct hit at the ramp! JB puts Colten in for Luchasaurus, CHOKE SLAM! STANDING MOONSAULT! Cover, TWO!!

Colten survives but Luchasaurus keeps cool. Luchasaurus drags Colten up, tags in JB, they coordinate but Austin saves Colten. Luchasaurus swings, Austin ducks to ROLLING ELBOW JB! Austin dumps Luchasaurus out, then builds speed to slide and trip Luchasaurus up! JB DIVES, Austin sends him into Luchasaurus! Luchasaurus hits railing and JB is shocked! Austin hits the QUICK DRAW to the floor! Austin drags JB up, puts him in the ring, Colten drags JB into a high stack! But feet on the ropes! Christian swats those down, so Billy trips Christian! And SMACKS him off the steel steps!

The ref is arguing with Billy, but Colten gets one of the title belts! BELT SHOT!! Gunn Club hides the evidence, Colten covers, TWO!?!? JB survives and no one can believe it! Billy is mad at the ref about the count, but fans are thunderous for “JUNGLE BOY! JUNGLE BOY!” Colten tags Austin, the Gunn Club get JB up. Austin gut wrenches but Luchasaurus drags Colten out! JB slips off, DOUBLE LARIATS take both him and Austin down! Luchasaurus CHOKE SLAMS Colten into the crowd! Christian SPEARS Billy!! Austin runs in at JB, JB avoids the Famouser! KILLSWITCH!! Cover, Jurassic Express wins!

Winners: Jurassic Express, by pinfall (still AEW World Tag Team Champions)

Jungle Boy uses Captain Charisma’s move to get the win! No more undefeated Gunn Club, how long will it take them to get back to the titles? How long will the titles stay with Jurassic Express?

My Thoughts:

Another great episode for Rampage here. They had to put the entrances on YouTube to make this fit in time, but Roppongi Vice VS Young Bucks sure as hell delivered. Another great appearance from Danhausen, I hope he and Cassidy have a tag match with the Bucks. Jay White having his own surprise appearance on Rampage was great, this is going to be some great stuff with Bullet Club also doing stuff in Impact. Starks had a good promo to plug Hobbs VS Dante, and then Bryan had a good promo backstage with Sydal and Moriarty to set up what will be a great match of Bryan VS Moriarty on Dynamite. And I would love if that match actually convinces Moriarty to join Bryan.

Robyn Renegade has a great match with Britt, and I like the story detail of Hayter not showing up until she has to save Britt from Rosa. The tension between Hayter and Mercedes is building, can’t wait to see what happens there. Leyla and Statlander have a good promo vignette, but you can’t have Statlander as the Face saying Leyla was abandoned cuz she was the problem. That’s a Heel move, not a Face move. That aside, Leyla VS Statlander is going to be a really good match that could go really either way. I am leaning towards Statlander, because she as the Face could use that to go after a Heel in Jade Cargill and the TBS Championship.

Hook of course dominates and wins against a newcomer like Blake Li, and QT of course didn’t confront Hook about it. Hook should take on Comoroto. He already beat a big guy in Bear Bronson, he should beat a big guy in the Freak Beast Wrecking Ball. Then Hook can take on QT Marshall in like the Revolution Buy-In. Then we got an awesome main event for the AEW tag titles. That was probably the Gunn Club’s best match yet, but naturally Jurassic Express retains. As I’ve said, they’re going to be a force of nature colliding with another force of nature like the House of Black, or even Santana & Ortiz after what we’ve seen on Dynamite.
