Jon Moxley made sure Private Party didn’t “do the right thing” and beat up Hangman Page for Rush. And now, he brings Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta along to do the next right thing, and that’s humble the ungovernable! Will The Swiss Superman, The Decoder and the AEW World Champion be rolling towards Toronto? Or will the LFI make the BCC all tranquilo?

Interestingly enough, The Firm’s W. Morrissey, Lee Moriarty, and Stokely Hathaway (who is eating some Boston Cream Pie) are all ringside to watch this one. The Firm was the group to snitch to LFI about Matt Hardy trying to “poach” Private Party, after all. The trios sort out and Claudio starts against Marq Quen. The two circle, tie up, and Claudio waistlocks to SLAM Quen down. Fans fire up for the cannon arms, and then Claudio yanks Quen right up. Quen goes to arm-drag but Claudio blocks that and shakes his head. Claudio whips Quen to a corner, runs in, but Quen BOOTS! Quen QUEBRADAS and covers, ONE!!

Claudio pops Quen up but Quen DROPKICKS him down! Quen kips up and swivels those hips. Quen EuroUppers Claudio, but big mistake! Claudio adjusts his head and EuroUppers Quen OFF his feet! Fans fire up, Claudio tags in Yuta, and the BCC mugs Quen. They double whip, then DOUBLE BOOT! Cover, ONE, but Yuta keeps on Quen with a wrench and wristlock. Yuta bends the arm around but Quen kicks free. Tag to Isiah Kassidy but he runs into a waistlock. Kassidy fights the lift, elbows free, but Yuta shoves him to a corner. Kassidy goes up and over, things speed up, Kassidy wheelbarrows and arm-drags!

Yuta arm-drags Kassidy back, fans fire up and Kassidy blocks a kick to step over and ENZIGURI! Kassidy does a dance but Yuta shoots in to hook Kassidy up into an IRON OCTOPUS! Fans fire up as Kassidy endures! Kassidy powers up but Yuta sunset flips, TWO! Yuta fakes dropkick to scare Kassidy and Yuta does his own dance. Kassidy is upset but he tags Rush. El Toro Blanco pushes past Yuta to SPIT at Moxley! Moxley tags in and fans fire up! The champion and the runner-up contender circle. They get forehead to forehead and then the forearms start flying! Fans rally as Moxley gets the  edge, then he runs to BOOT!

Rush fires up and BOOTS back! Moxley shoots around, waistlocks but Rush elbows free. Rush waistlocks, Moxley resists the lift so Rush shoves. Moxley shoots back in, GERMAN SUPLEX! Fans fire up as Moxley takes aim and rums in, to clothesline in the corner! Moxley climbs up and rains down fists as AEW goes picture in picture.

Moxley goes all the way to TEN, then he BITES Rush’s forehead! Moxley whips corner to corner, but Rush BOOTS back! Then OVERHEAD Belly2Belly suplexes Moxley into buckles! Then Private Party BLASTS the BCC corner! Yuta tries to fight back but Rush ROCKS him and Kassidy DECKS him! Private Party sets up so Kassidy can go PARTY IN MOTION! Direct hit on Moxley, then Kassidy gets another boost to FLY onto Claudio! Quen goes up to 450 SPLASH Yuta on the ramp! Rush runs at Moxley, to jump and BOOT! Rush rolls back to tranquilo~! Quen & Kassidy join in, then Rush paces around to soak up the heat from DC.

Rush and Kassidy mug Moxley on the outside of the ring but the ref reprimands. Rush whips Moxley into railing! Rush grabs a spare camera cable from under the ring! He winds up and LASHES Moxley! And then CHOKES him! The ref has to keep the BCC back but Jose eggs Claudio on. Rush throws hands and a HEADBUTT! Moxley stumbles into the ring while Rush soaks up more heat. Rush has everyone hold on while he refreshes himself with water. Quen drags Moxley to the corner, Kassidy stomps Moxley down, and Rampage returns to single picture as Rush steps in. Rush gets upset with Kassidy but Kassidy gets upset back!

Jose pushes Kassidy for pushing Rush, then he SPLASHES Kassidy with the water! Rush whips Moxley to throw body shots, then he ROCKS Moxley into the corner. Rush digs his boot in, but Quen tags himself in! Rush is annoyed but he and Quen mug Moxley. Moxley SLAPS Quen and flips him off! Quen rushes in but Moxley dodges, the BOOT hits Rush! Quen hurries to get Moxley but Moxley X-PLEXES him down! Fans fire up as Moxley and Quen crawl, hot tags to Kassidy and Claudio! Claudio rallies and runs in to EuroUpper! Then he whips Kassidy for another EuroUpper! And then another EuroUpper! And then a BOOT!

Fans fire up for Claudio, because it’s time to go swinging! Kassidy flails, Quen gets his hands, but Claudio drags them both in! Claudio fireman’s carries Quen, blocks Kassidy’s kick, and he uses that to trip Kassidy up! Fans fire up as we get a UFO SWING COMBO!! Claudio stops at ten and drops them both! Fans fire up as Claudio then drags Kassidy up and tucks the arms. Rush HEADBUTTS Claudio! Moxley CUTTERS Rush! Quen and Kassidy ENZIGURI SUPERKICK combo on Moxley! Yuta CROSSBODIES Quen! Kassidy runs but Yuta feeds him to Claudio’s BACKBREAKER! And then short arm LARIAT!

Tag to Yuta and he goes up to FLYING SPLASH Kassidy! Cover, Rush breaks it with a KICK! Claudio runs in but into a SHOTGUN! Moxley gest up, SUPERKICK from Rush, but Moxley LARIATS on the return! Moxley kicks Rush out to then DIVE! Direct hit into the railing and fans are thunderous! Yuta drags Kassidy up but Kassidy CLAWS the eyes! Tag to Quen, Private Party rushes in, “This is Awesome!” as Yuta throws Quen out. Yuta then back drops Kassidy, but Private Party combines, SILLY- NO, Claudio blocks that with strength to POP-UP UPPERCUT Kassidy! Yuta sees Quen springboard in, gets under, and then hooks him up, UNDERHOOK SUPLEX!

Yuta has the arm, short arm scissor into a BICEP SLICER! Quen flails and endures, he TAPS! BCC wins!

AEW hears from Death Triangle and The Dark Order.

PAC says, “The anniversary of Brodie Lee’s last match. You Dark Order gentlemen are in search of an opportunity.” Preston Vance notes that in the AEW Trios Championship Tournament, he got hurt in the first round, that meant he could not compete alongside his brothers in arms. But Vance owes his entire career to Mr. Brodie. Brodie gave him his identity and his start here, so without Brodie, Vance might not even be wrestling right now. Alex Reynolds vows that tonight is the night Dark Order beats Death Triangle to become the NEW AEW World Trios Champions! Will Mr. Brodie Lee’s memory be exalted with gold?

Tony Nese & Josh Woods w/ Mark Sterling VS The Varsity Blonds!

Speaking of gold, The Premier Athlete & Technical Beast tried and failed to get Wardlow’s AEW TNT Championship and Samoa Joe’s ROH World Television Championship, but are still hopeful to get the AEW World Tag Team Championships. Will they start on that road at the expense of Griff Garrison & Brian Pillman Jr?

The teams sort out, Nese starts with BPJ and they circle. They tie up, Nese tackles BPJ and has a toehold but BPJ rolls to then facelock. BPJ gator rolls with Nese, but Nese wrenches and wristlocks. BPJ rolls, cartwheels and handsprings to then BOP Nese in the mouth with a foot! Nese is mad but he runs into an arm-drag! BPJ armlocks and wrenches but Nese gets to ropes. BPJ lets off to CHOP! BPJ ROCKS Nese, tags Griff, the Blonds mug Nese and then Griff wrenches. Nese throat chops Griff! Nese bumps Griff off buckles, tags Woods, but Griff fights back. He gets mugged but fans rally up.

Nese & Woods double whip, Griff holds ropes but Nese runs to trip him up. Woods KNEES Griff down! BPJ runs at Nese but gets the POST instead! Woods drags Griff up, Nese joins in, OLYMPIC NECKBREAKER! Cover, Sterling’s stable wins!

Because Sterling says a national champion and a Premier Athlete deserve that title! Therefore, from now on, you are looking at the VARSITY ATHLETES! And the Blonds can never use that name again or Sterling will sue!

“Now, to the important business at hand. My groin has been on fire since National Scissoring Day, and that heinous attack!” But speaking of, here comes The Acclaimed! Fans are fired up as Caster says, “Yo! Listen! Acclaimed on the mic, yeah, you know we unstoppable. Coming out here to make this show more watchable! Smart Mark’s always player hatin’. Y’all’re so boring, you know we gotta save the ratin’s! And next time you interrupt our team, I’ma rock you in the face like I’m Draymond Green! I think the people’ve had enough. Get out the ring or we gonna stomp you in the nuts!” Fans cheer and Sterling hurries away!

Bowens has the mic to say, “WASHINGTON DEEE CEEE~! The Acclaimed have arrived! Scissor me, Daddy Ass~!” So of course, they DO! Will the now “Varsity Athletes” think before they call out the champs?

“Oh, yeah, I’m sorry. I’m sorry I lost control. Is that what they want me to say? Is that what the producer told you to say? I’m sorry, everybody. I’m sorry I lost control. Are we done? Cuz I only get 30 seconds but MJF gets 15 minutes. Are we done? We’re done, right? I’m sorry. I’m sorry, right? Ass backwards, man, get outta here.” The Mad King “apologized,” but is this far from done between him and the Spanish God?

Madison Rayne & Skye Blue VS Tay Melo & Anna Jay “A S”!

The Queen Bee turned player coach has already found a talented protégé in the AEW Women’s Division, and is going to teach her the ways of pro-wrestling. But TayJay think Skye is better off following their example of sports entertainment. Will this be an “enter-tening” showdown? Or will it just be another Jericho Appreciation Society screw job?

The teams sort out, the Queen Bee starts against the Queenslayer and they circle. Fans rally for Madison but Tay takes a swipe. Jay runs in, Madison elbows her then ROCKS Tay! Jay comes back to elbow Madison and throw her down by her hair. But Jay talks too much trash, Madison rolls her up! TWO, and Jay tags Tay! Madison gets around, headlocks, then shifts sides to hammerlock. Tay grits her teeth but Madison swings her out and wristlocks to tag Skye. Skye & Rayne double whip, then trip and dropkick Tay! Cover, TWO! Skye keeps cool, drags Tay up, then whips. Jay manages a tag before the SHINING WIZARD, and then she runs in to KNEE Skye down!

Jay whips Skye into the corner, but Skye slips out to avoid the heel kick. Skye BOOTS Jay, then kicks at Tay, only for Tay to block and trip her up! Tay then spins Skye around to BOOT her back! Skye flops to the mat, TayJay soak up the heat together and blow kisses while AEW goes picture in picture.

Jay fetches Skye into the ring, covers, TWO! Jay drags Skye up and bumps her off buckles to then CHOP and ROCK! Tag to Tay and Jay whips her in to back elbow! Jay runs in to forearm smash! Jay kicks Skye down and Tay CHOKES her on the ropes! Tay lets off at 4, soaks up the heat, and she drags Skye up. Tay CLUBS Skye, but Skye swings, only for Tay to Gory Especial! But Skye sunset flips! TWO, Tay sits on it, TWO! Skye sits up, ducks the Penalty Kick and rolls Tay up, TWO! Tay dodges Skye to get around, swing her, and SIDE SLAM! Cover, TWO! Skye survives and Tay is frustrated already. Tay drags Skye up to whip her into a corner.

Tay talks trash on Madison, Jay CHOKES Skye while the ref is busy with the coach! Tay mugs Skye, fires off more forearms, but Skye pushes back. Skye shows heart, but Tay BOOTS her back down! Tay drags Skye to a cover, TWO! Tay smirks and half nelsons Skye to then full nelson. Skye endures and Rampage goes to break.

Rampage returns and both women are down after a collision! They both crawl, hot tags to Jay and Madison! Madison rallies with forearms and CHOPS! She DECKS Jay, DECKS Tay, then dodges Jay to ENZIGURI! Madison wrenches and NORTHERN LIGHTS! Bridging cover, TWO! Madison stands Jay up but Jay ROCKS her back! Jay whips, Madison reverses and then follows. Skye tags, Madison spins Jay and hits a KNEE SMASH! Jay staggers and Skye CROSSBODIES! Cover, TWO! Skye keeps focus on Jay to SUPER- NO, Jay blocks and spins Skye, but Skye LOW KICKS! Cover, Tay breaks it!

Tay says no no no, and she suplexes. Skye wrenches out but Tay kicks low. Tay Gotch Lifts for a PILEDRIVER! Madison rushes in and hits a CRUCIFIX DRIVER on Tay! Jay runs in, spins Madison around, Gory Especials to GORY BOMB! All four women are down and fans fire up! Jay finds Skye and runs in, spins her around, HOOK KICK! QUEEN- NO, Skye arm-drags free to SUPERKICK! Skye chicken wings and lifts, but Jay fights free to switch! Jay lifts but Sky elbows free! Skye runs, wheelbarrows, but Jay rolls it back and Tay runs in, KNEE!! Tay DECKS Madison while Jay puts on the QUEENSLAYER! Skye taps, TayJay wins!

Swerve Strickland speaks.

“Next week, Toronto, Canada becomes whose house?” Fans can be heard shouting, “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” But Swerve takes off the sunglasses to get serious. He wants Billy Gunn to know now that Swerve isn’t after some “banger of a match” with him. He’s not trying to steal the show, he’s not trying to get all the applause, and he doesn’t even care about catchphrases. Swerve’s doing this to hurt Billy. It’s what he does and he does it very well. Billy says he’s “Daddy Ass,” but Father Time comes for us all.  Swerve is the clock, and it’s running out for Billy. Next week, Billy’s time is up.

Mark Henry interviews our Rampage main eventers!

The World’s Strongest Man knows this is a big night for The Dark Order. First, they’re in an AEW World Trios Championship match. Second, they’re celebrating the anniversary of Brodie Lee’s last match. John Silver says Mark’s right, tonight is a big night. “Brodie was the man. He was the man responsible for getting us all AEW contracts. He’s the man that put us all together and he’s the man that made us one of the greatest tag teams in all of AEW.” Reynolds says, “And what better way of honoring Brodie Lee than by beating Death Triangle tonight, and Dark Order becoming the NEW AEW World Trios Champions?”

The Bastard, PAC, says, “Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! Respect to Mr. Brodie Lee, but you gentlemen must be aware of what you’ve gotten yourselves into. We are Death Triangle. And what does that mean, gentlemen?” Penta says (literally), “That we are the best trio in the universe!” Fenix says, “And nobody can stop us!” Pac says, “Especially not the Dark Order. So tonight, on AEW Rampage, Death Triangle reminds everybody exactly why we are the AEW Trios Champions.” Penta adds, “And that we have CERO! MIEDO!” Fenix says DC, this is El Triangulo de la Muerte! Mark says it looks like there’s been enough talk. It’s TIME for the main event!

AEW World Trios Championships: Death Triangle w/ Alex Abrahantes VS The Dark Order!

Just as we heard them say, The Bastard & The Lucha Brothers declare themselves the greatest trio in the universe, and these belts help prove that. But will those titles soon be leaving? Or will Pac stay AEW’s one and only dual champion going into Battle of the Belts?

The introductions are made, the trios belts are raised, and we see who leaves Rampage with these belts!

The trios sort out but then Death Triangle says screw it, and they attack! Pac is after Reynolds, Fenix is after Vance and Penta is after Silver! They brawl, Pac ROCKS Reynolds then the Lucha Brothers coordinate. Death Triangle triple whips but Reynolds & Silver send Pac & Penta out! Vance ROCKS Fenix, then Silver ROCKS Fenix! Reynolds ROCKS Fenix and Fenix drops to a knee. Fans rally, the Dark Order coordinates and they all build speed. Fenix BOOTS Vance but Silver & Reynolds DOUBLE DIVE to take out Pac & Penta! Fenix somersaults to RANA Vance! Cover, TWO! Vance staggers, Fenix runs in, but Vance blocks this rana!

Vance gets Fenix up, Fenix pops out the back, but he runs into double hip tosses and a TU LO SABE from Reynolds & Silver! Vance then deadlift suplexes Fenix and holds him up! Fans count all the way to TEN before the SLAM! Fans fire up with Vance, “TEN! TEN! TEN!” Vance drags Fenix up, bumps him off buckles and he tags Reynolds. Reynolds drags Fenix up, snapmares him along the ropes then steps up for an elbow drop! Cover, TWO! Reynolds drags Fenix up but Fenix JAWBREAKERS! Hot tag to Penta! Penta fires off on Reynolds, then shouts, “CERO! MIEDO!” Penta runs, into a SUPERKICK! Reynolds drags Penta away to bump him to tag Silver.

Silver & Reynolds whip, double drop toehold and double basement dropkick! Cover, TWO! Penta is still in this but Silver drags him up. Penta ROCKS Silver, Silver ROCKS Penta, and AEW goes picture in picture.

Penta CHOPS Silver, but Silver KICKS back! Penta CHOPS again, and Silver wobbles! Silver KICKS back, but Penta KICKS a leg! Penta headlocks, Silver powers out and CLOBBERS Penta! Cover, TWO! Silver keeps on Penta with a facelock and he brings him around to tag in Vance. The Dark Order mugs Penta, then Vance back suplexes high and hard! Cover, TWO! Another close call but Vance whips Penta to ropes. Penta holds ropes and then mule kicks! Tag to Pac and he runs in, into a BIG forearm! Vance puts Pac in the corner, stomps him, then tags Reynolds. Reynolds stomps a mudhole, then EuroUppers Pac!

Pac staggers to a corner, Reynolds EuroUppers again. Reynolds brings Pac around but Pac powers him into the corner! Feni tags in, he CHOPS Reynolds down! Reynolds gets up to ROCK Fenix! Then CHOP him! Reynolds RAMS Fenix into the corner, tags in Silver, and Silver sits Fenix up to KICK! Fenix CHOPS, Silver KICKS! The CHOPS and KICKS continue as Rampage goes to break.

Rampage returns and Silver RAMS Fenix into the corner. Tag to Reynolds, Silver brings Fenix around but Fenix wrenches out and pushes Silver into Reynolds! Fenix then hoists Silver up, puts him on Reynolds’s shoulders, then he mule kicks Reynolds’s legs out to make him POWERBOMB Silver! BUZZSAW for Reynolds! Vance hurries in to get Fenix’s leg and whip him. Fenix turns the pop-up into an arm-drag DOUBLE STOMP! Fans fire up as Fenix hot tags Penta! Penta climbs up and leaps to CROSSBODY all three! Vance gets up and runs in but Penta dodges to GAMANGIRI in the corner! Reynolds runs in, into a SUPERKICK!

Silver runs in, into a fireman’s carry and CORNER DEATH VALLEY on Vance! BACKSTABBER for Reynolds! Cover, TWO! Penta tags Pac and then he and Fenix coordinate, DOUBLE slide to DOUBLE SUPERKICKS on Silver and Vance! Pac aims at Reynolds, he SOBATS, KICKS, and SUPERKICKS! Then GERMAN SUPLEXES! Bridging cover, Vance gets in to break it! Fenix and Penta attack him and Silver again and throw them out. Pac snapmares Reynolds, he BOOTS, Penta PENALTY KICKS and Fenix BUZZSAWS! Then TRIPLE BASEMENT DROPKICK! Fans fire up as Death Triangle stands tall.

Pac stalks Reynolds while fans rally with “CERO! MIEDO!” Pac drags Reynolds up, reels him in, and back suplexes hard! Trent ends up in a corner, Pac runs in, for a BIG uppercut! Pac covers, TWO! Reynolds is toughing it out but Pac stares down Silver and Vance. Pac drags Reynolds away, tags in Fenix, and Fenix ripcords to then SPINEBUSTER! Fenix calls to Penta and he goes up top. QUE PASO!! Dropkick to the buttocks, Fenix covers, TWO! Fenix clamps on a straitjacket and he grinds Reynolds down. Reynolds fights up but Penta tags in. Penta wrenches but Reynolds throws a forearm. Penta KICKS the leg out!

Penta swaggers, drags Reynolds and KICKS him in the arm! Penta sits on the arm for a mounted armbar, the ref has to keep everyone else back. Penta brings Reynolds up, puts him against ropes, and he hushes the crowd to CHOP! Reynolds leans against ropes, his chest stinging, but Penta wrenches. Tag to Pac, Death Triangle mugs Reynolds, and Pac snapmares Reynolds to stomp him down. Fans rally, Pac drags Reynolds up and throws him out! Reynolds tumbles to railing but Pac goes out after him. Pac snap suplexes Reynolds to the floor! Pac paces while AEW goes picture in picture.

Pac goes into the ring, the count begins, but Silver and Vance coach Reynolds from the corner. Fenix & Penta are there, the ref has them all stay back, and Reynolds gets himself in at 8 of 10! Pac mockingly applauds, before he stomps Reynolds down! Pac whips Reynolds into a corner hard, and Reynolds bounces off buckles to hit the mat. Pac stomps Reynolds, keeps between him and the Dark Order, and mocks the fans rallying for Dark Order. Reynolds throws a body shot but Pac KNEES Reynolds to the ropes. Pac mocks the fans, but Reynolds ROCKS him! And again! And again! But Pac SOBATS Reynolds right back down!

Pac stomps away on Reynolds in the corner, digs his boots in, then lets off at 4. Pac digs his boots in again, then lets off at 4. Pac tags Penta, Penta drags Reynolds up, and Reynolds hurries to reach out! Penta keeps him from the Dark Order, but Reynolds throws another forearm. Penta ripcords Reynolds, Reynolds ducks the roundhouse, but Penta elbows the pump handle away. Penta snapmares Reynolds into a motorcycle stretch! Tag to Pac, Pac stomps one of the arms, and he paces around. Pac scuffs Reynolds, taunts him, and Rampage returns to single picture. There’s a countdown in the corner of the screen, Battle of the Belts is meant to start live in under six minutes!

Pac taunts Reynolds, Reynolds throws hands but Pac still eggs him on. Reynolds ROCKS Pac! Pac clinches and whips but Reynolds jumps to DOUBLE STOMP the back drop down! Fans fire up as Reynolds crawls, but so does Pac! Hot tags to Fenix and Vance! Vance LARIATS Fenix, CLOBBERS Penta, BOOTS Pac, but Penta kicks back. The Lucha Bros double whip but Vance breaks the line to DOUBLE LARIAT! Vance gives Penta a BLUE THUNDER BOMB! Fenix gets a SPINEBUSTER! Vance flexes and fans fire up! “TEN! TEN! TEN!” Vance clamps onto Fenix, TOP TEN FULL NELSON! But Penta SUPERKICKS and Pac CLUBS him!

Pac CLUBS Vance down, Fenix and Penta BLAST Reynolds & Silver! Pac SOBATS Vance, KICKS, and then TRIPLE SUPERKICKS take him down! Penta runs, wheelbarrows with Fenix, and Pac even sets up, VICTORY SPLASH STANDING MOONSAULT COMBO! Fenix covers, TWO!! Vance survives “Negocio Riesgoso,” (Risky Business in Spanish) but Fenix drags him up. Fenix CLUBS away on Vance’s back and shouts, “ANIMO!” But Vance suplexes Fenix! Hot tags to Silver and Pac! Fans fire up as the Meat Man brawls with The Bastard! Silver gets the edge, Pac gives it back, Pac BOOTS! Silver BOOTS!

Silver runs, but Pac dodges to SNAP GERMAN! But Silver’s back up!? He swings, but into a backslide, that Silver rolls through to KICK, KICK and SUPERKICK, to a deadlift BRAINBUSTER!! Cover, TWO!! Pac survives and fans are thunderous! Silver stalks Pac as fans chant for “BRODIE! BRODIE!” Silver waistlocks but Pac lands out of the back suplex! Tag to Fenix, Pac BOOTS Silver, Fenix springboards but Silver gets under to then CLOBBER Fenix! Tag to Vance and he tags Reynolds. The Dark Order BLASTS the Death Triangle corner, then they hoist Fenix up! But Fenix fights free to fight back on all three with CHOPS!

Fenix bumps Silver, runs, SOMERSAULT- NO, Reynolds & Vance block the cutter, Silver returns, PENDULUM BOMB!! Cover, TWO?!? Fenix survives and we’re at the two minute warning! Reynolds drags Fenix to a corner and puts him up top! Reynolds climbs up after Fenix but Fenix ROCKS him with forearms! Fenix adjusts to SUPER STEINER!! Tag to Penta, he SLINGBLADES Reynolds! SLINGBLADE for Vance! SLING- NO, Silver slips out to SUPERKICK! Silver whips, Penta goes up and over, BACKSTABBER! Penta drags Silver up again, “CERO! MIEDO!” Tucks and- Silver sips out!

Silver dodges in the corner, GAMANGIRIS, then feeds Penta to Reynolds’ ROLLING ELBOW! ENZIGURI! STUNNER! GERMAN SUPLEX! And Vance’s DISCUS!! Cover, Pac & Fenix break it!! Reynolds throws Pac out, Silver throws Fenix out, “This is Awesome!” as Reynolds puts Penta up top! Reynolds climbs but Jose comes out! He still has that LFI contract for Vance! Reynolds fires off on Penta but Silver & Vance back Jose off. Wait, Rush has the bell hammer! He stares Pac down and hands him that hammer! Pac used this against Cassidy, he’ll do it with Reynolds! HAMMER SMASH! Fenix CROSSBODIES Vance!

Fenix and Silver brawl, Penta tags Pac and Pac clamps on the BRUTALIZER!! Reynolds is OUT, Death Triangle wins!!

Winners: Death Triangle, by submission (still AEW World Trios Champions)

Another dastardly win from Pac, he is still the Two Belt Bastard! Pac, Fenix & Penta are still trios champions, but Pac is going to have little time to rest! Will Pac use the same underhanded tactics to retain his other title tonight?

My Thoughts:

A great episode for Rampage, especially on such a big, busy week for AEW. BCC VS LFI was a great opener. It’s always fun when Claudio can do his swing or his airplane spin, but how great to see him do both at the same time. I figured BCC would win to put more pressure on the LFI’s story, and it also gives momentum to Moxley going into his title match in a couple weeks. I was a little surprised we got such a squash of the Varsity Blonds, who are now just “The Blonds,” I guess. Weird move in story for Nese & Woods to basically steal another team’s name but whatever. The Acclaimed had a great bit here, obviously furthering things towards a title match with Nese & Woods. Swerve also has a solid promo calling out Billy Gunn for their match next week.

Skye & Rayne VS TayJay was good, but I must say again, I just don’t see “it” in Madison Rayne. She didn’t mess anything up, but just something about the pace. It’s like she was going through things slowly to make sure she didn’t mess up. Either way, TayJay of course win to get the JAS going in the women’s division. Again, kinda need tag team prizes for it to really matter, though. Great promo from Kingston apologizing only because he was told to, and I feel like they really should’ve kept on his feud with Sammy Guevara to avoid that whole drama Sammy had with Andrade. Maybe they’ll get back to that to try and steer things away from said drama.

And of course, great stuff in the main event segment, both with the interview by Mark Henry and in that trios title match. I had a feeling that Death Triangle would retain, but what an interesting twist where it is LFI having them go down a more Heelish path. This whole time of Death Triangle resisting Andrade’s offers, and now it might be that they accept after all, depending on whether or not Andrade is still with AEW. Either way, Pac stays double champion, at least for right now, gotta hurry over to Battle of the Belts 4!
