You bet there’s more AEW action in Atlantic City!

Daniel Garcia is a fighting ROH Pure Champion! He defended this belt in Boston on Elevation, now he defends it again in Atlantic City! But will going back to back hurt the Dragonslayer’s chances?

QUICK NOTES

Another good card here. The Dark Order being Uno, Silver & Reynolds will get a good win, as will The Factory’s QT, Johnson & Karter. Clayton VS Kazarian feels like the one match that could go either way, as AEW sure seems to think they can make Clayton into something. And I’ll cover the ROH Pure title again like I did last night, though I’m thinking Garcia is just racking up wins so that he’ll be strong going into an actual title feud for ROH Final Battle next month.

ROH Pure Championship: Daniel Garcia VS Brock Anderson w/ Arn Anderson!

The Dragonslayer just defended his title on Elevation against the underdog, Leon Ruffin, but he isn’t going to stop there! Will being a fighting champion continue to work out? Or will the Son of the Enforcer take this title back and restore its honor?

The introductions are made, the title is raised, and we see if the sports entertainer continues to beat pro-wrestlers!

The judges for this match are BJ Whitmer, Christopher Daniels, and Frankie Kazarian. The Code of Honor is upheld, too, and the bell rings. Brock and Garcia circle, and Garcia avoids the leg pick. They feel out a knuckle lock, but then break. They go again, collar ‘n’ elbow, and Garcia wrenches an arm to a wristlock. Brock endures, CLUBS free, but Garcia backs off. Fans again tell Garcia, “You’re a Wrestler!” but he ignores them. Garcia and Brock tie up again, and Brock hits a headlock takeover. Garcia keeps his shoulders up, Brock shifts to a facelock and he gator rolls Garcia around! Garcia gets the ROPEBREAK! Brock lets off, Garcia slides outside, but that’s one of his three used up.

Garcia cools off, wants Brock to back off, and the ref keeps Brock back. Garcia slides in, he ties up with Brock again, but Garcia pulls Brock’s hair to get the waistlock. Brock standing switches but Garcia elbows free! Brock staggers, Garcia CHOPS him against the ropes! Garcia whips, Brock reverses and he runs Garcia over! Cover, ONE! Brock drags Garcia by an arm and then stomps the hand! And then an ankle! Then the other ankle! And then the other hand! Brock is picking Garcia apart with those stomps! Garcia bails out and Brock wants Garcia to get back. The ref starts the count but Brock goes out to throw Garcia in.

Brock hurries in but Garcia dropkicks his leg! Brock is stuck in the ropes, Garcia gets the bad leg and DRAPING DRAGON SCREWS! Brock flops over and Garcia flexes. Fans rally up and Garcia gets Brock’s leg to YANK it! Brock clutches the knee as he flounders away but Garcia toys with him now, circling like a shark with blood in the water. Garcia stomps the bad leg, then stands on it. Garcia says, “You wanna stomp?” Garcia stomps Brock’s ankle now! Garcia toys with Brock more but Brock shoves him away. Garcia BOOTS Brock down! Garcia gets the leg, steps through, and drops down for the toehold!

Garcia pulls on the leg like a modified kneebar! Brock endures, his shoulders are down, TWO as Brock sits up! Fans rally as Brock endures, and Brock kicks and headbutts Garcia away! Brock hobbles, Garcia runs in to dropkick the legs out! Garcia wags his fingers while fans boo. Garcia snarls and he scrapes his sole off Brock’s face! Garcia then hooks up the legs, and he stands on the knees as he stares Arn down. Garcia mocks the Glock as he shoots a finger gun at Arn! Fans boo but Garcia STOMPS Brock’s knees! Brock flounders away to a corner but Garcia is after him. Garcia pie faces Brock, mocks his dad, then taunts him with kicks.

Brock stands up in a huff as Garcia keeps giving him pie faces. Garcia SLAPS Brock, but Brock DECKS Garcia! But that’s a warning for closed fist to the face! Brock has to be careful not to do that again or he’ll be disqualified. Fans boo but Arn tells Brock to calm down and focus. Brock storms up on Garcia, but Garcia kicks the legs out! GUILLOTINE!! Garcia has Brock caught!! Brock flails, pushes up off the mat, but Garcia thrashes and pulls on the neck! Brock still stands up as fans fire up, and he powers out with a suplex! And then a stall, to the SLAM! Fans are thunderous as both men are down!

Brock and Garcia rise, and Brock runs in to ELBOW Garcia! And ELBOW again! And then RAM into Garcia in the corner! Brock throws his shoulder in again and again, and fans fire up with Brock! Brock brings Garcia right up to then carry him around, for a BACK DRPO! But the knees bother Brock so he has to take a second. Brock says he’s going to finish this, and he waits on Garcia to get up. Garcia staggers, into a kick! Brock facelocks but Garcia stomps Brock’s foot! Garcia slides under and pump handles Brock into a SIDE SLAM! Cover, TWO!! Brock survives and Garcia is fuming! Fans rally and the judges like where this is going.

Garcia gets Brock’s legs but Brock kicks Garcia again and again until he staggers away! Brock then fakes Garcia out to DDT!! Cover, TWO!! Garcia survives but Brock just reloads. Brock drags Garcia up, whips him to the ropes, but the legs stop the spinebuster! Garcia brings Brock around, for a PILEDRIVER!! Cover, Garcia wins!

Winner: Daniel Garcia, by pinfall (still ROH Pure Champion)

The Dragonslayer slays another pro-wrestler! But he drags Brock around to then shake his hand. Garcia only needed one ropebreak between two matches, will anyone push the Greatest Technical Sports Entertainer to the limit?
