In order to join Chris Jericho for a tag match on Dynamite, Daniel Garcia takes on Action Andretti tonight for Rampage! Can Action survive the Dragonslayer? Or will Garcia succeed where Jericho failed?

The Firm’s Lee Moriarty & “Big Bill” Morrissey could not put away #JungleHook, so now All Ego steps up! Will Ethan tame Jungle Boy here in Fresno? Or will California be all about that Tarzan Life?

As JB waves to the fans while standing on the corner, Ethan grabs him in the crucifix! The bell rings as Ethan carries JB out! JB slips off the Ego’s Edge, runs in and forearm smashes! And CHOPS! JB whips, Ethan reverses but JB goes up and over and keeps moving, JB ducks, dodges and RANAS Ethan out of the ring! Isiah Kassidy walks over and asks what’s wrong, but Ethan uses Kassidy as a shield as JB DIVES! Direct hit on Kassidy and Matt Hardy is stunned! JB is, too, and he turns around into Ethan’s BIG shoulder tackle! The fans tell Ethan that he sucks but Ethan says he’s the one still standing!

Ethan puts JB in the ring, Hardy argues with Ethan about what he did to Kassidy, and Ethan says Kassidy “took one for the team.” But JB comes back to DIVE! Now he hits Ethan! Fans fire up, high-five with JB, and JB puts Ethan in. Hardy stands in JB’s way, but then backs away. JB goes to the corner, climbs up top, but Ethan ROCKS him first! Ethan says good job on the distraction, and then he crosses JB’s arms. ICONO- RANA! JB counters, then DROPKICKS Ethan down! JB kips up, fans fire up, and JB is feeling it. JB blows a kiss to the fans, then CHOPS Ethan. JB whips, Ethan reverses but JB KICKS him down!

JB keeps moving, but Stokely trips him! And blames Hardy!? JB is confused, Hardy and Kassidy say it was Stokely, but Ethan CLOBBERS JB! JB falls out of the ring, Ethan goes out after him and RAMS him into the railing! Ethan high-tens Hardy and hugs it out, and even raises Hardy’s hand like he won. Kassidy is the one confused now, but Ethan drags JB up to scoop and SNAKE EYES off the apron! JB staggers back, Ethan puts him in the ring, and Ethan stalks JB. Ethan drags JB up, scoops him and hits a BACKBREAKER! JB writhes but fans rally up behind him. Ethan soaks up the heat and pretends he can’t hear the fans.

Ethan stalks JB to the ropes, drags him up, and reels him in to RAM shoulders. And again! And again! Ethan whips, JB holds ropes, and JB BOOTS Ethan away. Ethan comes back and clotheslines JB up and out! Fans boo but the ref keeps The Firm away from JB. Ethan goes out, JB CHOPS him! And CHOPS again! And CHOPS again! And CHOPS, ROCKS, and ROCKS again! Ethan grabs JB by the hair and POSTS JB! JB falls down, the fans boo, but Ethan refreshes the ring count. Ethan stands JB up to CHOP him back down! Ethan stares the camera down and says, “You wanna slap tits? I’ll slap tits!” Ethan then storms over to JB.

Ethan drags JB up and puts him in the ring. JB crawls, Ethan wraps on a waistlock and he squeezes with a rear bearhug. JB endures, fights up and throws elbows. Fans rally, JB breaks free and runs, into a scoop and trophy lift! And TOSS! JB lands hard, Ethan flexes, and Rampage goes picture in picture.

Ethan talks some trash as he paces around. Fresno gets on Ethan’s nerves and he tells them so. Ethan stalks JB to a corner, stomps a mudhole in, then digs his boots in. The ref counts, Ethan lets off, and Stokely talks some trash on JB. Ethan drags JB up to ROCK him with a forearm and JB falls into the corner. Ethan storms up, but JB BOOTS from below! And again! Ethan stomps JB down, drags him back up, and wrenches for a whip corner to corner hard! JB lands upside-down in the corner! Ethan storms over, drags JB up in another waistlock, and he thrashes JB around while bringing him to the mat.

JB endures, fans rally up, and Rampage returns to single picture. JB throws elbows again, but Ethan whips JB to a corner. Ethan runs in, into an elbow! JB CHOPS, CHOPS and ROCKS! JB whips, Ethan reverses but JB ducks ‘n’ dodges to CROSSBODY, into Ethan’s arms! Ethan pops JB around but JB slips off! JB waistlocks, Ethan switches and shoves, but the COMEBACKER lands! Fans fire up as JB roars! JB drags Ethan up, reels him in, suplexes, but the damage to his back holds him back! Ethan BACK DROPS JB away! Fans rally as JB goes to a corner. Ethan runs in but JB BOOTS him! JB goes up the corner, but Ethan ROCKS him!

Ethan crosses the arms again, ICONOCLASM! And then the deadlift into a POWERSLAM! Cover, TWO!! JB survives but Ethan points to Hardy. Ethan copies Hardy’s dancing around and JB slowly rises. Kassidy is confused again but Ethan kicks low, TWIST OF- NO, JB chicken wings to shoutout Captain Charisma! But Ethan powers out, JB comes back again, but into a spin and kick! Ethan reels JB back in, but JB RAMS Ethan into a corner! JB climbs up and rains down fists! Fans count along to “OCHO!” but Stokely gets up in JB’s face! So JB gives Stokely the TENTH! Stokely tumbles down, but Ethan HOTSHOTS JB!

Ethan reels JB in, TWIST OF FATE!! Cover, ROPEBREAK!! JB survives by a literal foot and Ethan can’t believe it! JB rolls out and fans fire up. Ethan wants Hardy to do something since he’s here, but wait! Here comes HOOK! Stokely is furious as the Cold-Hearted, Handsome Devil has appeared! JB slides into the ring while Ethan is watching the FTW Champion, and JB sunset flips Ethan! But Ethan sits on the cover, and he grabs Hardy’s hair! Hardy instinctively swats that away, and JB finishes the sunset! JB WINS!!

#JungleHook is still a thing, and Hardy realizes what happened! Three names on The Firm’s payroll have lost to Hook & Jack, and Stokely is furious! Stokely blames HARDY for that loss! “You’re the biggest idiot! I am pissed to the highest level of pissedtivity!!” Ethan gets the mic and he says Stokely’s right. Hardy says he’s Ethan’s friend! But Ethan says if that’s the case, why did he just cost Ethan the match? Hardy didn’t mean to, he thought JB was pulling his hair! Well, if Hardy wants to be Ethan’s friend, then he’ll have Ethan’s back. Hardy says he of course has Ethan’s back! Okay then.

Ethan tells #JungleHook that this wasn’t how it was supposed to go. And Matt’s gonna make it up to Ethan, because he owes him. “How about the two of you do your little thing one more time. Wednesday! Dynamite! JUNGLE HOOK VS Ethan Page… and Matt Hardy!!” Fans like the sound of that, and so do Hook and Jungle Boy. Stokely says, “Until then! Isiah Kassidy, Matt Hardy, you’re on TIME OUT!” What does that mean? But in the end, will #JungleHook go 2-0 against The Firm this Wednesday?

Tony Schiavone is in the ring.

Already with him is Ortiz, and Schiavone notes that a week ago, Ortiz and Eddie Kingston took on The House of Black. The way that all ended, can Ortiz explain what is going on with him and his good friend, Eddie? Ortiz thanks Schiavone for this, and says his “friend,” or rather, “the person who I thought was my friend,” has completely lost it. Eddie has fed into the mind games the House of Black is playing with him, and we all saw how that went. Eddie was going to hit a woman with a chair! In their world, you don’t do that. That’s a line you do not cross.

With all due respect to Schiavone, while Ortiz appreciates the time Schiavone is giving him, but Ortiz shouldn’t be talking to Schiavone. Ortiz should be talking to Eddie. “Eddie, how about you get out here and we handle this like men, face to face?” Schiavone says alright then. Fans cheer and here comes The Mad King! And he has a chair! Eddie goes to the ring, Schiavone lets Ortiz have the mic, and then he exits the ring. Eddie says they don’t need to do this out in front of the people, but Ortiz says, “Oh now you wanna talk to me? Huh? Talk to you back there? This is the only way to get your attention.”

Ortiz asks Eddie what’s up with him. Last week, Eddie didn’t wanna let Ortiz into the match. Ortiz gets that. They fought before, they did that song and dance. But Eddie was gonna hit a woman? In their world, they don’t do that! Eddie knows they don’t do that! Is that how Eddie’s mother and father raised him? Ortiz knows for a fact that’s not how they raised him! Ortiz knows for a fact! Eddie coming out here with a chair, for Ortiz?! Eddie wants Ortiz to go to the back so they can talk there, but Ortiz says “Y’know what bothers me the most? What would our mentor say? What would Homicide say? In fact, I know what he would say: that you’re a coward!”

Ortiz says Eddie is a fake tough guy! Eddie likes going around and- EDDIE JAMS ORTIZ WITH THE CHAIR!! And then SMACKS him while he’s down! Fans boo but Eddie storms off, holding onto his chair. Did the House of Black’s plan succeed in tearing down their enemies?

Darby Allin speaks.

Proving that I can beat every single member of the House of Black. So you don’t have to say anything, you don’t have to issue the challenge to me. I’m issuing the challenge to you. Dynamite, show up.” The Relentless One is calling out the Aussie Juggernaut! Will Darby survive being the kind of fighting champion he is? Or will Buddy bring gold to the House of Black?

Brian Cage w/ Prince Nana VS Willie Mack!

For the third time this week, The Machine is in action! And for the second time this week, he’s up against his old rival from their days in The Temple. But will Brian Cage be able to maintain momentum towards his match with Bryan Danielson next Dynamite? Or will the Rampage debut of The Mack be a major roadblock?

The bell rings and the two circle. Fans rally, they tie up, and Cage wrenches to a hammerlock. Cage spins Mack around, wrenches again, but Mack rolls and cartwheels and handsprings, then wrenches back! Mack wristlocks, Cage rolls, handsprings and wrenches back to headlock. Mack powers out, things speed up, and Mack hurdles! Cage leaps over, Mack comes back and Cage side-steps, only for Mack to jump and arm-drag! Fans fire up as Mack fireman’s carries for a SAMOAN DROP! Mack kips up! And then shimmies and shakes, for a STANDING MOON- FLOP as Cage moves! Cage knows Mack too well, and he hits a SHOTGUN BOOT!

Mack is dazed and Cage soaks up the cheers and jeers. Mack goes to a corner, Cage runs in to UPPERCUT, GAMANGIRI, and then GERMAN SUPLEX! “Who betta than Cage?!” Cage stalks Mack, drags him up, and bumps him off buckles. Cage ROCKS Mack, CHOPS him, then stomps him. The ref counts, Cage trips Mack and then runs side to side, for a BOOT WASH! Mack sputters with eyes glazed over! Nana likes what he sees as Cage flexes. Mack goes to the apron, Cage goes out after him and fireman’s carries. But Mack slips off to SLAP! And HAYMAKER! And wind up, but Cage clinches! APRON SIDE EFFECT!

Mack flops to the floor, Cage says, “Who betta than Cage?! NOBODY!” Cage paces around Mack while Rampage goes picture in picture.

Cage drags Mack up, whips him hard into railing, and Mack slumps down! Cage grins as fans rally up. Cage drags Mack up, bumps him off the steel steps, then stomps Mack down! Cage refreshes the ring count, to then run and RAM Mack into the railing! The railing BENDS! Fans fire up, Cage drags Mack up, and he puts Mack in the ring. Cage flexes again, goes into the ring, and he looms over Mack. Cage pumps up his arm and drops the elbow! Cover, TWO, but Cage just shows off by doing push-ups. Cage dusts off his hands and he stalks Mack to a corner. Cage CHOKES Mack on the ropes, the ref counts, and Cage steps off.

Cage paces around while Mack sputters again. Mack sits up in the corner but Cage digs his knee in now! The ref counts, Cage lets off, and Cage stomps away! The ref counts, but also argues with Nana. Cage still lets off at 4, and he climbs up the corner to soak up all the cheers and jeers. Cage then drops down to stomp Mack, and Rampage goes picture in picture.

Rampage returns and Cage again soaks up the heat. Cage drags Mack up, puts him in a corner to whip corner to corner, but Mack BOOTS back! Cage comes back, Mack dodges and BOOTS again! Mack goes to ropes, Cage runs in, but Mack dodges to RUNNING GAMANGIRI! Both men are down and fans fire up! The two rise, Cage staggers, and fans rally for Mack. Cage runs in, but Mack LARIATS! Cage gets up, and Mack UPPERCUTS him! Cage staggers back up, Mack clinches, but Cage fights back with elbows! Cage is free, but he walks into a pop-up FOREARM! Cage wobbles, into a pop-up, SKY HIGH! Cover, TWO!!

Cage survives and Mack can’t believe it! Nana coaches Cage but the fans rally for Mack. Mack rises, Cage follows, and Cage denies the Stunner to SUPERKICK! Fireman’s carry, into the F5!! Cover, TWO!!! Mack survives and The Machine is shocked! Nana is also furious, but the fans are thunderous! Cage drags Mack up, reels him in, puts one out, but Mack slips free! Cage ducks the roundhouse, Mack ducks the discus, but Cage ducks the heel kick! JUMP KNEE! POWERBOMB! Flip over and KNEE! Cage reels Mack in again, for the DRILL CLAW!! Cover, Cage wins!

Jade Cargill & Leila Grey VS Jaida & Jordyn Vanity!

Still AEW TBS Champion, still undefeated at 48-0, and that includes tag team matches. But will The Baddies be untouchable all the way to Jade’s 50th? Or will #ThatBitch behold that all is Vanity?

The teams sort out and Leila starts against Jaida. The two circle, Jade talks some trash while  the two tie up. Leila and Jaida are in a deadlock, so they break. Leila talks some trash now, and she ties up with Jaida again. Leila waistlocks, SLAMS Jaida down, then facelocks. Leila grinds Jaida but she endures and fights up. Jaida throws body shots, wrenches out, and she reels Leila into a headlock. Leila throws body shots, stomps a foot and whips Jaida away. Leila follows Jaida but Jaida keeps going, and Leila hits a FLYING SHOULDER! Jaida rolls away to tag in Jordyn while Leila talks about being a true Baddie.

Jordyn rushes in but Leila kicks her low. Leila then runs to DECK Jaida with a sucker punch! The ref reprimands but Leila CLUBS Jordyn. Leila POSTS Jordyn, then goes corner to corner for a HESITATION DROPKICK! “Too easy.” Tag to Jade and fans fire up. Jade sighs that this is the best AEW could give her tonight. Jade throws uppercuts, whips Jordyn corner to corner, and Jordyn flops down. Jade storms up, drags Jordyn up and bumps her off buckles. And again, and again! Jordan flops down, and Jade stands on her! The ref counts, Jade counts along, and she lets off at 4 with a stomp! Tag to Leila and Leila drags Jordyn up.

Leila brings Jordyn out to throw knee after knee, then turns her for a NECKBREAKER! Leila lets Jordyn tag Jaida, then Leila dodges to kick low! Leila hits a FACEBUSTER! Cover, but Jade shouts that no, JADE gets the glory. Leila lets off and says Jade’s right. Leila tags to Jade, she stomps Jaida, then chicken wings for JADED! Cover, The Baddies win!

Jade shrugs then flexes, she is now 49-0 in her AEW career. If it was this easy to get there, how big will Jade’s 50th match be?

We hear from tonight’s main eventers.

Mark Henry says, “Things have been heating up between Action Andretti and the JAS.” Action Andretti says that ever since he beat Chris Jericho, he can’t seem to get the JAS off his back. “But that doesn’t change the fact that I beat you, Chris!” But Daniel Garcia tells Andretti, “you little punk,” that he remembers when he was just like Andretti. Garcia was young, the new kid on the block, he felt that he was hot and that he was good. “But people humbled me. And tonight, that’s what I’m gonna do to you. You are gonna be humbled at the hands of a sports entertainer, you are gonna be humbled at the hands of Daniel Garcia.”

Action says tonight on Rampage, he beats Daniel Garcia. To flip-flop that saying they’ve always got, “a professional wrestler beats a sports entertainer every time. And Action Andretti beats a little b*tch every time.” Mark says it looks like there’s been enough talk, so IT’S TIME! For the main event! Will Garcia change the grudge match set for Dynamite with his own two hands? Or will Action Andretti just check off one “JAS Hole” before he and Starks take on the rest?

Daniel Garcia w/ Sammy Guevara VS Action Andretti!

The Spanish God sees Garcia out to the ring, making sure everyone sees how good the new leather pants look on Garcia. Sammy then joins Jericho, Schiavone, Excalibur and Good ol’ JR on commentary. Sammy says those are expensive pants, and Garcia looks great. They’re best friends, too, by the way. But before the bell rings, Garcia CLOBBERS Action in the corner! The ref rings the bell then reprimands Garcia, but Garcia stomps a mudhole into Action! The ref counts, Garcia flexes while he digs his boot in, but he lets off at 4. Fans boo but Garcia soaks up the heat. Garcia stalks Action to ropes, then CHOPS him!

Garcia whips Action to ropes, but Action handsprings to back elbow! Action finally throws off his vest and fans fire up with him! Action storms up to CHOP Garcia in the corner! Garcia goes to another corner, Action CHOPS him again! Garcia goes to the far side, Action runs in, but into a knee! Garcia swings but Action dodges, to CHOP again! Sammy claims this is all strategy. Garcia is going to tire Action out, just watch. Action whips corner to corner, Garcia reverses, but Action goes up and over and keeps moving. Action ducks ‘n’ dodges to tilt-o-whirl headscissor! Garcia flounders, Action runs to IMPLODER TORNILLO! Cover, TWO!

Action keeps cool while Garcia crawls away. Action storms up, drags him up and EuroUppers! Jericho and Sammy put each other over about whose learning tree is better. Action CHOPS Garcia, whips him to ropes, but Garcia reverses. Action holds ropes, dumps Garcia to the apron, and GAMANGIRIS him down! Action then builds speed and DIVES! Direct hit at the ramp and Fresno fires up! Action puts Garcia in, but Garcia rolls out as Action slides in. Garcia says it isn’t happening, but Action builds speed. Garcia ducks the baseball slide dropkick, and CLOBBERS Action on the return! And of course, Sammy and Jericho applaud.

Garcia drags Action up and whips him into steel steps! Jericho says that’s how it works. “You can do all the fancy flying moves, but all it took was a clothesline to the face.” Garcia storms up the steel steps so he can flex and soak up the heat. Sammy and Jericho applaud while the ring count climbs, and Rampage goes picture in picture.

Garcia looms over Action, drags him back up, and RAMS him into the railing! Action flounders, Garcia drags him back up, and Action talks trash to the fans before he puts Action in the ring. Garcia then flips off Fresno before going into the ring. Cover, TWO! Garcia snarls, he drags Action up, and whips him hard into the corner! Garcia storms up, drags Action back up, but Action ROCKS Garcia with haymaker after haymaker! Action CHOPS, runs, but into a BIG elbow! Cover, TWO! Garcia is annoyed but he keeps on Action with a facelock. Garcia powers Action to a corner, throws body shots, then ROCKS him with a right.

Garcia climbs up to rain down fists! Garcia goes to five and then BITES Actin’s face! The ref reprimands, Garcia lets off and he hoists Action up the corner. Action CLUBS Garcia in return, but Garcia has a bearhug! Garcia squeezes tight, the ref counts, and Garcia lets off to CHOP Action! Garcia hears the fans cheering for Action, but Garcia climbs up after him. Garcia says this is for Fresno, but Action throws body shots! Action DECKS Garcia off the corner! But then Garcia hits the ropes to trip Action up! The ref reprimands Garcia while Action flops to the mat. Garcia drags Action up into double underhooks, for a BUTTERFLY SUPLEX! Cover, TWO!

Garcia is furious that Action is still in this! Garcia looks at Action, dares him to get up, and then looms over him. Fans rally for Action and he slowly stands, only for Garcia to DECK him! Garcia hikes up his leather pants, maybe they don’t fit quite right. Garcia then drags Action up as Rampage returns to single picture. Garcia gives Action toying kicks while taunting him. Action huffs and puffs as Garcia continues to scuff his face. Action is hulking up and fans fire up! Garcia kicks again and again but that only feeds the fire! Action fires forearm after forearm! Garcia knees low, whips, but Action CLOBBERS him!

Fans rally as Action rallies on Garcia! Garcia staggers up, Action spins him and clinches, BACKBREAKER to NECKBREAKAR! An A-List combination right there! Fans fire up with Action and he goes to a corner. Action climbs up to the top, but Garcia slips out of the ring. Fans boo, but Action just adjusts, jumps to the apron to then ARABIAN PRESS!! Direct hit on Garcia and Fresno is thunderous! Action puts Garcia back in and climbs up again. Slingshot, SPLIT-LEG MOONSAULT! Cover, TWO!! Garcia survives and Action grits his teeth but the fans still rally behind him. Jericho says Action is a surprisingly explosive competitor, but Garcia has to get his head on straight!

Action stands Garcia up to CLUB him on the back, then reel him in for a torture rack. Garcia pulls hair, slips free, and whips, but Action handsprings! Only to jump into bodyscissors! SLEEPER!! Action flails, rolls back, it’s a cover, TWO!! Garcia lets go, Action blocks the haymaker, but Garcia ducks the roundhouse! The ENZIGURI hits! Garcia wobbles, comes back and BOOTS! Garcia runs, into a SUPERKICK! Action reels Garcia into the torture rack, for the SWINGING NECKBREAKER! Cover, TWO!! Garcia survives and Action is beside himself! Fans fire up while the standing count starts. Garcia crawls to a corner, Action gets to his feet.

Action storms over to Garcia, drags him up, and CHOPS! Action whips Garcia corner to corner but Garcia reverses, only for Action to go up and out. Garcia runs in, Action ROCKS him with a forearm, then Action springboards, into a PALM STRIKE!! Garcia takes Action out of the air! And then pump handle URENAGES! Cover, TWO!! Garcia is furious that Action survives again! Garcia looks to commentary, and both Sammy and Jericho say he can do this! Just stay on Action! Garcia thinks, he grabs Action’s legs, but Action drags Garcia into a cradle! TWO!!! Garcia escapes, he throat chops and rolls Action, with tights! TWO!!!

Garcia checks with the ref but the ref says that was two! Garcia is furious, he runs in at Action in the corner, but Action UPPERCUTS! Action goes up and up and TORNILLO CROSSBODIES!! Direct hit and Action goes back to a corner! RUNNING SHOOTING STAR! Cover, ACTION WINS!!

Winner: Action Andretti, by pinfall

Jericho and Sammy can’t believe it! This wasn’t the plan! Another loss for the JAS, and now it is locked in! Action Andretti & Ricky Starks take on #LeSexGods on Dynamite! Will Jericho have to win back that loss on his own? Or will Starks & Andretti be an absolute problem for the JAS?

My Thoughts:

A really good Rampage, though not as strong as last week’s. But I do want to say, this is the second week in a row that they don’t have interview promos, they just had a vignette. What was wrong with Mark Henry conducting the pre-main-event interviews? Not that the vignettes have been bad, I just didn’t think they’d do this over the video interviews. It kinda minimizes what Mark Henry does on Rampage. But speaking of the main event, that was great stuff from Garcia and Andretti. It helps feed into the story that Action wins again. For one, it gives Action momentum going into the tag match with #LeSexGods. And also, it heaps on that Garcia is probably better off not listening to the JAS. Maybe Garcia will see the light by the time we get to Revolution.

The Baddies of course squash The Vanity Twins, but it was a good detail that Jade made Leila give up getting the pin so Jade could finish this off. This is the ego Red Velvet was done with, but Leila seems completely fine with it. She’s kissing up to it, even. Also the Vanity Twins had great ring gear, I hope they get good recognition thanks to this. Good promo from Darby to call out Buddy Matthews, that is going to be an awesome match. And what a wild way to do Eddie’s turn on Ortiz. I don’t know if it’s because Eddie was pissed, or he was doing this because he thinks Ortiz is the House of Black mole, but I didn’t think he’d just up and hit Ortiz with the chair.

Great match out of Brian Cage and Willie Mack. They already had this match-up on Elevation this week, but I would think this was a step up from that one. Though, Mack did take a second to speed up for those more agile moves. But of course Cage wins here so that he has momentum going into his match with Bryan Danielson, that he will of course lose because Bryan VS MJF is happening. And great opening match from Jungle Boy and Ethan Page. Good interweaving with the story of Ethan’s friendship with Matt Hardy and condescending business relationship with Kassidy. Ethan & Hardy VS #JungleHook is going to be a lot of fun, I would love if that was the moment Kassidy stood up to Stokely, forcing Hardy to choose between Kassidy or The Firm.
