QUICK NOTES

A solid line-up here, and I like that there’s actually some continuity as to Lucha Brothers VS Nese & Daivari. We saw Penta & Fenix go after Nese & Daivari to stop them from interfering in Mark Briscoe’s match, and that (in kayfabe) gave reason for a match here. A little disappointed AEW hyped up Hobbs but haven’t get him involved in title stories by now. There was an opening to get Hobbs into the TNT title story or the All-Atlantic title story but AEW missed those just to extend the stories they were telling. Darby Allin VS Hobbs could’ve been great stuff but they wanted Joe to be double champion again so that he could feud with Wardlow and give him the TNT belt so Joe wouldn’t have to lose the ROH TV title.
