Silver & Reynolds aren’t even worried about a Fatal 4, they just want payback for how things went down on Dynamite! Silver sends Claudio into barriers, Reynolds does the same to Yuta! Aussie Open isn’t sure what to make of this, but Top Flight does! Dante & Darius both build speed and DIVE onto the others! Fans fire up as Top Flight take out BCC and Dark Order! Top Flight goes back to the ring, Aussie Open storms up, but Dante & Darius block punches to ROCK Fletcher & Davis! Top Flight both slingshot, but into a GAMANGIRI and FOREARM!

Top Flight fall to the floor, Aussie Open goes out after them, SPINEBUSTER SANDWICH! Fans fire up and Davis puts Darius in. The bell rings, these two start, and Davis shouts to Fletcher. Tag to Fletcher, The Kingdom is in the crowd to watch as fans. Aussie Open double whip and double CHOP, to then PENALTY KICK and SENTON! Fletcher slingshots Dante into an UPPERCUT from Davis! Aussie Open throw up the crowns but fans boo. Davis drags Darius up, fireman’s carries, but Darius slips off to shove Davis at Fletcher! Davis stops himself, but he and Fletcher turn around into a DOUBLE RANA from Darius!

Aussie Open stagger up into DOUBLE DROPKICKS from Top Flight! Top Flight whip Fletcher to a corner, CHOP and A-LIST LARIAT! Then snap suplex to slingshot senton! Fans fire up, Darius sets up and Dante jumps off him to BLAST Davis! Dante goes out, Darius focuses on Fletcher. Darius CHOPS, brings Fletcher around, but Fletcher blocks the suplex. Fletcher throws body shots, backs Darius down, and Reynolds tags in. Darius and Reynolds mug Fletcher, whip but Fletcher reverses. Reynolds duck ‘n’ dodge to BLAST Fletcher! Fletcher SUPERKICKS Reynolds! Davis DECKS Silver! The ref reprimands but Aussie Open BLASTS Top Flight! Davis scoops Reynolds, crucifix lifts, but Reynolds slips off and shoves Davis into Fletcher! The ref counts, Silver lets off but Claudio hits back! Claudio CLUBS Silver, shakes his head, and soaks up the cheers and jeers. Claudio throws Silver out, ROCKS him, but Silver blocks the buckle bump! Silver ROUNDHOUSES Claudio, CANNONBALLS Davis, UPPERCUTS Fletcher, BOOTS Yuta, and then gets back up on the corner! Yuta waistlocks and Claudio runs but Silver BOOTS Claudio away!

Silver throws Yuta down, tags Reynolds, and Reynolds rallies! But Yuta CLUBS Reynolds from behind! Tag to Claudio, the BCC mugs Reynolds, and they double whip. Reynolds holds ropes, BLASTS Davis, dumps Yuta out, but Claudio CLOBBERS Reynolds! Fans are torn as Claudio drags Reynolds up and tags Yuta. They double whip, Reynolds runs into the DOUBL BOOTS! The BCC soak up the cheers and jeers while Rampage goes picture in picture.

Yuta puts on a top wristlock but Reynolds endures, so Yuta isolates the arm to STOMP it! Yuta paces around while Reynolds crawls. Reynolds throws body shots but Yuta CLUBS him down! Tag to Claudio, the BCC mugs Reynolds in the ropes, then Claudio SLAMS Reynolds on the apron! Claudio pushes Reynolds in, wraps on a chinlock, and he grinds Reynolds down. Reynolds endures, fights up, reaches out, but Claudio back suplexes! Cover, TWO! Back to the chinlock! Reynolds endures, Silver and the other teams coach him up and rally the fans. Fletcher rushes in, but Dante ROCKS him! Davis runs in, but Dante goes up and around to GAMANGIRI! Then Dante springboards to CROSSBODY Aussie Open! Dante fires off on Fletcher, whips him to ropes but Fletcher reverses. Dante blows past him to FLY onto BCC and Davis! Darius high-fives his brother, Dante gets back in and tags before going up and over! GAMANGIRI, SUPERKICK, and STEP-IN SHOT! Cover, but Silver breaks it with stomps! Dante SUPERKICKS Silver! AEW looks closer at the AEW Women’s World Championship Triple Threat.

Ruby Soho says she’s “a small town kid from Indiana, who came from broken home, with mental health problems, who was never supposed to be anything more than a waitress in a dive bar. I’m not meant to be a home-grown, I’m not meant to be an outsider, I’m meant to be AEW Women’s World Champion!” But Saraya says she is “the best thing that’s ever happened to the AEW Women’s Division. Every company I have been in, I have won every single women’s championship. I was born into this business, and this Sunday at Revolution, I’m gonna make AEW my house.”

But champion Jamie Hayter says, “After Sunday, Ruby, Saraya, and everybody else will see yet again why I’m the champion, and that Hayter Hits Hard.” The battlelines are drawn in three different directions, but which side will run this after the Revolution?

“Powerhouse” Will Hobbs VS Serpentico w/ Luther!

Carrying the “brass ring” he won on Dynamite, the NEW Face of the Revolution is back in action, and his hometown crowd is loving it. Will the Book of Hobbs make #SNAKEMAN a footnote on the way to the TNT title? Or can even Serpentico defy the odds?

Because the next chapter in the Book of Hobbs is the TNT Championship.” Fans fire up for that as Hobbs drops the mic. Will the One True King of Wrestling Television survive his war with Wardlow just to face a war machine? Or will Hobbs get to turn Wardlow’s World upside-down?

Backstage interview with Konosuke Takeshita.

Renee Paquette is with the Japanese phenomenon, and says that it has been so amazing having him here in AEW. Konosuke has had incredible matches, but we do have to look back at what happened just last Wednesday. The frustration was clear on his face, how does he feel things have been going so far? Konosuke knows he has had many great moments and many great opponents, but he hasn’t had too many great wins. He’s not happy, so maybe he needs to go back to Japan. But wait! Don Callis walks in. He gives Konosuke’s card (again), and notes that yeah, Konosuke almost had it, but still wasn’t good enough.

Callis says the difference in that ladder match was that Will Hobbs found what was missing for him, and for him, it was the killer instinct. Konosuke, you need to find that something. Sure, go home to Japan, but before you do, just give Callis time to show you what he can do for you. If it doesn’t work out, Callis will drive him to the airport himself. But give it some thought. Callis leaves, Konosuke looks at the card. What will be the fate of the Future of Wrestling?

And Alex Abrahantes tells Sterling, “You and you goons want to keep assaulting us? How about instead of settling this in court, we settle this in the ring at Revolution!” Penta tells Mark and he tells Daivari & Varsity Athletes, “We will see you this Sunday at Revolution. Austin Gunn says this is their first title defense, and it’s against three other tag teams! Sonjay Dutt guarantees that this Sunday, it all comes to a head! Triple J will become tag team champions! Danhausen says that Orange Cassidy has plenty of room in his backpack for another title, and Cassidy says that’s a good point. Max Caster says that the Acclaimed, the uncrowned champs, become TWO-TIME champs as they take back the titles from the Ass Boys!

Colten says at Revolution, the Gunns walk in as champions, “and guess what? We’re gonna walk out AEW World Tag Team Champions!” Austin welcomes us to the Gunn Show! But will the Gunns misfire? Or will they manage to shoot down THREE challengers at once?

Mark Henry cues up the main event.

“Things are gonna get outta control tonight when Dustin Rhodes & Keith Lee take on the Mogul Affiliates, Parker Boudreaux & Swerve Strickland.” Swerve says as far as Keith goes, it was only a matter of time before he returned. Keith says this is more about what Swerve’s done to him and Dustin, it’s about what Swerve’s done to others. But if Keith wants Swerve & Parker, they’ve got ’em. Dustin says darkness has fallen over the city of San Francisco, and you find out that they don’t like playing games! Whose House? It’s TIME for the main event!

United by common enemies, Keith Lee & Dustin Rhodes are sworn to tear down whose house? Swerve’s House! But will Swerve only become more dangerous when he has people gunning for him? Or will there be nothing that stops Dustin & Keith from avenging all of Mogul Affiliates’ victims?

The teams sort out, but Swerve & Parker attack from behind! The bell rings, Swerve is after Dustin and Parker fires off big hands on Keith. Dustin hits Swerve back, and Keith turns things around to CHOP and throw hands! Keith pursues Parker along the ropes, throws knees, but Parker throws hands in return. Parker UPPERCUTS, grinds his fingers into Keith’s face, but lets off as the ref counts. The ref reprimands and Parker sneers, but Keith fumes. Parker is after Keith again but Keith fires off body shots in return! Parker shoves Keith but Keith gets in Parker’s face. Keith clinches, brings Parker over, and tags Dustin.

Keith bumps Parker off body shots, Dustin uppercuts, then he has Parker in a corner. Dustin climbs, rains down fists, fans count along, and Dustin stops at nine to take a deep breathe before TEN! Dustin throws more hands but Parker knees low. Parker whips Dustin into the Mogul corner, and Swerve gets a shot in. The ref reprimands, Parker ROCKS Dustin, but Dustin stays standing. Parker stalks Dustin to a corner, Dustin kicks low, and then Dustin ROCKS Parker in return. But Parker short arm LARIATS! Dustin falls and Rampage goes picture in picture.

Parker stalks Dustin to ropes, grinds a forearm into the face, but he lets off as the ref counts. Parker stands Dustin up, bumps him off buckles, then tags Swerve. Swerve taunts Keith before he runs in to ROCK Dustin with a right! Swerve keeps Dustin from Keith, taunts Keith some more, then stomps Dustin. Swerve drags Dustin over, drops an elbow, then stomps again. Dustin goes to roes, Swerve is after him again. Swerve stands Dustin up, pulls the arms against ropes, then CHOPS! Dustin ROCKS Swerve in return! Swerve ROCKS Dustin, Dustin ROCKS Swerve! Swerve stays between Dustin and Keith to then stomp Dustin down.

Swerve drags Dustin over, tags in Parker, and Mogul Affiliates stomp away. Parker drops an elbow, then squeezes Dustin’s head with both hands! Parker even twists the ears to add insult to injury. Parker then CLUBS Dustin in the chest, and clamps on a head ‘n’ arm lock. Fans rally as Dustin fights up and throws body shots. Dustin runs, but Parker scoops him! SNAKE EYES! Parker keeps moving, and he BOOTS Dustin down! Parker covers, TWO! Dustin flounders but Parker keeps him from Keith. Parker powers Dustin to the Mogul corner, tags Swerve, and they mug Dustin again. Swerve cravats to snapmare, and he goes up the corner. FALLING UPPERCUT!

Swerve swaggers and dances on Dustin, then digs his foot into Dustin’s face. The ref reprimands, Swerve covers, TWO! Swerve clamps onto an arm, grinds it down, but Dustin fights up. Fans rally, Keith coaches Dustin and Dustin powers his way forward! Swerve holds Dustin back, putting a foot against the buckles! Rampage returns to single picture, Swerve throws Dustin away, then Swerve dropkicks Keith’s legs out! Fans boo but Dustin back drops Swerve! Fans fire up but Keith is too far away! Swerve rolls Dustin away, Keith is furious, but Dustin POWERSLAMS Swerve! Both men are down and fans fire up again!

Dustin crawls, Swerve writhes, hot tags to Parker and Keith! Keith rallies on Parker with big shoulders then big body shots! Fans fire up, Keith CLUBS Parker, but Parker throws hands in return! Parker UPPERCUTS, CHOPS, and CHOPS again! Parker grins, he whips Keith to ropes, but Keith reverses and then POUNCES him! Fans are thunderous and Keith glares at Swerve. Keith grabs Swerve and TOSSES him from the corner! Swerve flounders and looks at Keith glaring at him. Fans rally for Keith, Swerve fires up and BOOTS! And BOOTS! And runs, but into a SWAT and ELBOW and- NO, Swerve goes Matrix to avoid the lariat!

Swerve goes to run but Keith reels him back in! Swerve hooks the arm with a leg, but Keith is too strong for that trick! Keith spins Swerve around, Swerve CHOPS, but Keith CHOPS in return! Swerve ENZIGURIS! Swerve runs, but into a MILE HIGH SPINEBUSTER!! Fans are thunderous and Keith roars! Swerve goes to an apron, Keith goes after him at the corner. Keith drags Swerve up, but Parker runs in to CLUB Swerve! Dustin rushes in, the ref intercepts, so Parker LOW BLOWS Keith and gets away with it!! But Dustin ROCKS Parker! Only for Parker to toss Dustin out! Swerve calls to Parker but Keith swings on him.

Parker catches Keith in chicken wings, and Swerve kicks off Keith to MOONSAULT Dustin! Parker then ROCKS Keith, brings him in through the ropes, and runs to BOOT Keith down! Jericho goes after him in return, fans want to “LET THEM FIGHT!” but the officials separate them! Will Revolution be where Starks finally ends things? Or will Jericho find a way to win even without his appreciation society?

My Thoughts:

A great Rampage, especially as a go-home to Revolution. As with all AEW go-homes, we got good hype vignettes, such as the promo from Ruby, Saraya and Hayter. It doesn’t really change how I see that match going, but with Ruby sharing that stuff about herself, how can you not want to see her win? Jungle Boy Jack has a good promo, but something tells me they could’ve saved a lot of time if JB just told us he wants “Final Burial” on Dynamite. Also, Final Burial has to be AEW’s name for a Buried Alive Match, which also makes me think announcing this on Rampage is underselling what that all is, which is in fact, very awesome.

That Fatal 4 Tag was also awesome, all four teams are great, but it makes a lot of sense for Claudio & Yuta to win. They’re champions, they need momentum as they continue to defend these titles as part of ROH TV, and it keeps BCC as a whole strong with Bryan about to face MJF and Moxley about to face Hangman. Good vignette for the AEW World Tag Team Championship Fatal 4, but also doesn’t add much to the math. I’m sticking by my idea that while Cassidy & Danhausen settle things with Triple J and take back the Golden Globe for Paul Walter Hauser, Acclaimed get the titles off the Gunns.

Great match from Riho and Emi, and it makes sense Riho wins. She is back in AEW, she’ll be building herself back up, she could be in the mix for the next title story. In a plot twist, maybe Riho, a fan favorite, challenges Jade Cargill, who is daring fan favorites to come after her. Of course Hobbs crushes Serpentico, this match was mostly so Hobbs can have time to speak on the TNT Championship, in that he doesn’t care, he’s just ready to win that title. And I like that Don Callis keeps trying to recruit Konosuke. This story can help Konosuke get up and over that hump, and maybe this helps Konosuke go after a midcard title for the summer.

Really good promo from Mark Briscoe, some heartfelt stuff with Mark touching on the death of his brother, Jay. But also great that this thing with Lucha Brothers and Trustbuster/Varsity Athletes has an endpoint with a Six Man Tag now. That’ll be a real good match, but I would think the Faces win there. The real question for Mark and ROH is what to do with the ROH Tag Team titles? I don’t know about handing them over to a team, but I would love if Mark gives his blessing to the Lucha Brothers to compete in a match for vacated ROH Tag titles. And then win or lose, Lucha Brothers help strengthen the ROH Tag Division as they get this new era going.

I oddly have some dread seeing that QTV thing. Is this going to be QT Marshall trying a very WWE GTV meets NXT Anonymous? Does this mean The Factory is just dead in the water? That’s sad, given it felt pretty strong just a year or so ago. But we got a very strong main event, Dustin & Keith made a great team against Swerve & Parker. I would love if Dustin & Keith stuck together, they’ve got a really good tag name already, and they could build their way up to go for those tag titles should a Heel team still have the belts in the Summer.
