HPW prepares for a Second Spectacular Spectacle!

After ThunderStruck, HPW returns to Spectacle Rock for a SECOND Spectacular Spectacle! And there will be a must-see surprise in store!

HPW returns to Spectacle Rock for June!

On Friday, June 16th, the Summer starts off with red hot action! And nothing’s hotter than battles for the gold!

The Twilight Princess takes on a double header!

Midna is HPW’s first dual champion! She is both the Goddess Champion and the Death Mountain Champion, and we know after ThunderStruck that Aveil is #1 contender to the former, and Lupay is #1 contender to the latter. But Midna isn’t going to keep either of them waiting, she’s going to have two matches in one night! Will the #TwoBeltPrincess hold onto both thrones? Or will she lose it all for the Summer?

One belt, four contenders!

The Hero’s Shadow stopped Skull Kid from cheating him out of the Triforce Championship, but then he was confronted by the Hyrule Princess, Zelda, the Zora Rock ‘n’ Rolla, Fin Balure, the living mask monster, Majora, and his own brother, the Hero of Hyrule, Link! Link is still owed something for Majora screwing him over in the Triforce Tournament Finals, and is still a multiple time Triforce Champion besides that. Zelda set an incredible record with her HPW Goddess Championship reign. Fin was a former Termina Champion and has been running strong for some time. But Majora is a wild card.

Majora made a point that he was the reason Skull Kid made it to the Triforce Tournament finals and won, but he hasn’t done anything on his own. However, it is undeniable that Majora is massive, menacing and mighty. Will he use his monstrous power to make it through three top stars at once? Will Fin get his first shot at the top title? Will Zelda look to go from Princess to Queen? Or will the blood brothers soon battle once more?

But wait! There’s more!

As great as those matches are, there’s going to be even more spectacle for Spectacle Rock! The UnderWorld Order won big in Blood & Thunder and continue to reign as HPW Trios Champions. But HPW is going to go above and beyond to decide who their next challengers shall be! A whopping NINE teams are being contacted to compete in a unique match type! But who are those nine teams? Just wait and see! In fact, that’s the name of the game! This will be the first-ever Wait & See Battle Royal!

How does it work? The nine teams will be sent out in waves corresponding to suits in a playing card deck, until all nine teams are active. As any battle royal, an individual is only eliminated when thrown over the top rope and both feet hit the floor. And a team is only eliminated when all three members are eliminated, meaning just one member could win it all for their team! Who will prove to be the aces of the HPW Trios Division and head for the UWO?

My Thoughts:

Just over a month from now and we have the Second Spectacular Spectacle as the HPW calendar starts to solidify. No more random events, we’re going to have a steady schedule from now on. And while I felt ThunderStruck 2’s Blood & Thunder match underdelivered, I hope I can get this Spectacular Spectacle to feel like a spectacle. That’s mostly why that mystery battle royal is happening. It’s basically the AEW Casino Battle Royale, but maybe just with suits that sound Legend of Zelda related.
