This week, we close the book on Season 1 of Ahsoka and re-open the book for Season 2 of Loki.

This week saw a rare alignment in the Nerdosphere as one epic series came to a conclusion (for now) while another one returned with a vengeance. The Nerds convened this week to recap the season finale of Ahsoka and to also break down the premier Episode for season 2 of Loki. With Ahsoka, it was a race against time as our heroes tried to prevent the escape of Grand Admiral Thrawn. An excellent season finale was filled with all sorts of Easter eggs and left us with more questions than answers when it was all said and done. Meanwhile, we got the return of everyone’s God of Mischief. What has Loki been up to since we last saw him? Not what we thought, that was for sure. A grand season premiere saw the introduction of a new character that we all hope is here for the duration, and leads us to ponder what, exactly is Sylvie up to? Spooky season continues on the Trailer Park and more workers in the entertainment industry are talking about unionizing. We have all this and more for you on this week’s Episode of Bandwagon Nerds.

PC Tunney

This week, the roster is OG-heavy as Patrick, Dave, and PC Tunney say goodbye to one of the first series they began watching in the early days of BWN. Umbrella Academy has been a staple of BWN for four tremendous seasons, and this week, the guys reach the end of the road as they review the series finale. The Episode polarized many fans. Some loved the finale; others, not so much. Here on the Bandwagon, the guys were split as well. Who loved it? Who did not? You will need to tune in to find out. A quick visit to the Trailer Park looks at another movie warning of the dangers of AI, the conclusion of the Venom trilogy, and a reboot of Salem’s Lot that looks like it could be a worthy successor to the epic 70’s mini-series. The PS5 gets an upgrade, but do you need to get one? All that plus the guys say goodbye and pay their respects to one of the most beloved actors and voices in Nerdom, James Earl Jones.

Patrick and Dave return to the show just in time to catch the Bandwagon up with Season 4 of The Umbrella Academy. This week, the guys look at Episodes 4 & 5 from Season 4 as the series nears its conclusion. There is a lot going on here including Ben & Jennifer bringing about The Cleanse, Luther & Diego opening up a can of whoop ass at the CIA, Klaus being buried alive, and Lila & Five….falling in love? Yes, you read that right, and if you want to know the details, this is the Podcast for you. A visit to the Trailer Park looks at the upcoming Mr. McMahon documentary, a highly anticipated documentary on the DC Classic, Kingdom Come, and a less than enthusiastic review of the Minecraft trailer from the Little O’Dowd himself. George Martin voiced some displeasure over changes made to House of the Dragon, Greg DeMarco’s favorite franchise might be making a comeback, plus Tunney gives us a very brief review of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice and lets us know why its box office domination this weekend was well earned.
