Bandwagon Nerds #218: One Invincible Love
The Bandwagon begins their review of Season 2 of Invincible, gets caught up on some trailers, and discusses the latest Star Wars news!
The Nerds return to a “regular” routine this week and begin their review of Season 2 of Invincible. One of the most pleasant surprises of 2021, Invincible raised the bar for animation and gave Amazon Prime another hit in their growing library of them. In the aftermath of his epic battle with his father, Omni-Man, Invincible tries to pick up the pieces of he and his mother’s shattered life and Episode 1 is all about that. The Trailer Park returns to look at the upcoming Bob Marley biopic One Love, to check out a possible beginning for The Omen saga, and to see what is next in Kevin Smith’s vision for The Masters of the Universe. The Last of Us makes some casting decisions for Season 2, Ahsoka gets confirmed for Season 2, and what if What If came to the Star Wars universe?

This week on Bandwagon Nerds, the full Bandwagon returns to break down the explosive season finale of Invincible. Story lines all converge, and things take an unexpected turn as Mark Grayson is faced with an impossible choice to make. Speaking of impossible choices, the Nerds continue their review of Daredevil: Born Again, Season 2. This week’s episode was all about Matt’s choices and the ramifications of his decisions on those he cares about most. Last, but certainly not least, the guys review the latest episode of The Boys’ final season. The search for V1 continues, and why are our heroes trying to suddenly kill each other? All that, plus we review trailers for Clayface, Spider-Man: Noir, and Coyote v. Acme. It’s a big week here at the Bandwagon, and we hope you tune in!
