The teams sort out and Kip starts against Cassidy. Kip mockingly asks for a hug and Cassidy says no. The fans rally up, but then Kip tags out to Butcher. The fans boo but Kip doesn’t care. Cassidy then tags out to Trent, so Trent and Butcher tie up. They go around, Butcher puts Trent in a corner, and the ref counts. Butcher lets off, pushes Trent, and then eggs Trent on. Trent and Butcher tie up, and Butcher shoves Trent down! And shoves him again! The fans rally up as Trent works to keep cool. Blade eggs Trent on, but Trent ROCKS Butcher! Butcher shrugs that off, but Trent ROCKS him again!

Trent fires more forearms, but Butcher snarls. Butcher then comes back and DECKS Trent! Butcher taunts Trent, reels him in and suplexes, but Trent slips free! Trent ducks the haymaker to ENZIGIRI! The fans rally as Trent runs in the corner to CHOP! Trent then TORNADO- NO, Butcher stops the DDT to then CLOBBER Trent! Butcher tags Kip, they mug Trent, and Kip ROCKS Trent. Kip puts Trent in a corner to fire more forearms, then mockingly shakes his hand. Kip whips but Trent reverses and back drops Kip away! Kip hobbles up, and Trent ELBOWS him down! Trent storms up on Kip, then CHOPS him.

Tag to Cassidy and the fans cheer. Trent & Cassidy double whip to then double shoulder tackle! They shake hands, Trent drops an elbow, then Cassidy covers, TWO! Kip grits his teeth and goes to ropes. Cassidy puts his hands up, but Kip runs in! Cassidy blocks the kick, trips Kip, but Kip kicks him away. Things speed up. Kip hurdles and Cassidy rolls. Cassidy keeps going but Kip stops the arm-drag! Kip pops Cassidy up but Cassidy arm-drags Kip to a cover, TWO! Kip ghost pins, TWO! Cassidy sits Kip up, for a thumbs up! Then the roll, TWO! Things keep moving, Cassidy ducks ‘n’ dodges and tilt-o-whirl DDTS!

The fans fire up, Butcher runs in but Cassidy gets around! Butcher stops the tilt-o-whirl, and hits a POWERSLAM! Butcher deadlifts for a BACKBREAKER! Cassidy writhes, Kip storms back up and he stomps away in the corner. The ref counts, Kip lets off at 4, and fans boo. Kip “apologizes” then storms back up on Cassidy. Kip whips corner to corner hard and Cassidy drops to his knees. Kip soaks up the heat, then mocks Cassidy’s hands-up pose. Kip stops there, he doesn’t wanna put his hands in pockets. Kip whips Cassidy corner to corner hard again, then tilt-o-whirl BACKBREAKERS! Cover, ROPEBREAK!

Kip keeps on Cassidy and brings him over to tag Butcher. The Superbad Squad mugs Cassidy while Rampage goes picture in picture.

Butcher fires forearms into Cassidy’s bad ribs, then looms over him. Butcher drags Cassidy up and CLUBS him back down. Cassidy crawls to the ropes but Butcher digs his knees into the back! The ref counts, Butcher lets off at 4, and Kip gets a cheap shot in! Butcher then RAMS Cassidy into the corner! Butcher RAMS Cassidy again and again, then CLUBS him down! Tag to Kip, and Kip soaks up the heat. Kip taunts Trent, runs back in at Cassidy, and CANNONBALLS! Tag back to Butcher and Kip drags Cassidy into the drop zone. Butcher goes up and over to SPLASH! Rampage returns to single picture as Butcher drags Cassidy up. Butcher CHOPS Cassidy, then taunts Trent. Butcher runs in to SPLASH, then he tags Kip. Kip taunts Trent before he runs in to SPLASH Cassidy! Kip and Butcher coordinate, but Cassidy holds up his hands! And puts them in his pockets! Butcher sends Kip in but Kip TOSSES kip up and out! Cassidy hurdles over Butcher! Cassidy falls, flounders, Kip runs in and brings him around! Kip whips but Cassidy SHOTGUNS Butcher! Cassidy kips up, avoids Kip, and Kip accidentally BLASTS Butcher! AEW returns as Renee Paquette is with the Runaway, and hopes there is a medical update on Angelo Parker. Last time we saw him, he was viciously attacked by Saraya’s brother, Zak Knight. Ruby says Parker is hurt. Really hurt. They’re not sure, but he might’ve torn a couple ligaments in his knee. And honestly, this whole thing feels like it’s Ruby’s fault. She brought Parker into this mess with Saraya. Ruby said how hurt and disappointed she’s been in Saraya, but it has gone past that now. Ruby isn’t disappointed or hurt, she HATES Saraya! She wants Saraya to understand that!

Ruby thought Saraya was just sad without her, but underneath it all, deep down inside, Saraya is UGLY. Saraya is a BAD PERSON. And she needs to understand. Saraya and her “Inbred family” will get what is coming to them. Is there going to be No Future for The Outcasts now that they’ve crossed the line?

AEW TBS Championship House Rules Match: Julia Hart VS Robyn Renegade!

The Princess of the Black Throne issued the Open Challenge and it was answered very quickly. Robyn also game-planned well, her Dealer’s Choice Rule is no top rope moves! That takes away Julia’s moonsault, but will the champion still be Hartless?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see if The House Always Wins!

The bell rings and the two stare down. Robyn eggs Julia on, so Julia smiles. They tie up, Julia powers Robyn back but Robyn puts her in a corner. Robyn lets off, then mockingly bows to let Her Highness out of the corner. The fans rally for “Women’s Wrestling!” as these two reset. They tie up, Julia headlocks, then hits a takeover. Robyn moves around, tries the headscissors but Julia denies that. They stand, Robyn powers out the back and headlocks in return. Julia powers up and out, then trips Robyn up! The fans cheer as Julia stomps away on Robyn, then dribbles Robyn off the mat! The fans fire up and Julia finally lets off.

Julia kicks Robyn around, brings her up, and bumps her off buckles. Julia fires forearms, lets off as the ref counts, and then ROCKS Robyn. Robyn throws body shots, but Julia CLUBS her down! Julia CHOKES Robyn on ropes, and she shouts “House Rules!” AKA no ropebreaks! She still lets off as the ref warns her about the choking, that is still illegal. Julia then drags Robyn up, and she snap suplexes Robyn hard! Robyn reaches out but Julia drags her up and around. Julia throws Robyn by her hair, then stalks Robyn. Julia drags Robyn up but Robyn throws body shots. Robyn swings, Julia catches her to wrench and STO!

Julia clamps on a chinlock and she thrashes Robyn around. The fans rally as Robyn endures, and Robyn fires up to throw body shots! Robyn ROCKS Julia, whips, then runs in to SHOTGUN Julia! The fans fire up as Robyn runs in again, but Julia dodges! The knees hit buckles, and then Julia runs in to clothesline! Julia goes side to side to ELBOW! What happened to Saraya’s side of the story? Go away, Renee! You turned on Saraya, just like Ruby did! Saraya then talks into the camera to tell Ruby that she can’t stand her! This is all Ruby’s fault! And all over a man? A disgusting Canadian? Ruby is pure filth, and this is all her fault! Just wait and se what they’re gonna do to Parker next time! Harley then gets mad at these guys who are just there, asking, “What’re you looking at?!”

Saraya gets mad at them, too. Are they perverts?! Saraya SLAPS a guy’s drink out of his hand, and it splashes on Zak! Saraya shouts, “What’d you do to my brother?!” But it was her own fault! Zak still drags the guy around, and Saraya tells him to stop! Zak calms down, but then Saraya says she’s just joking, go ahead. BLACKJACK BACKHAND!! The Zodiac knocks out another one, and Harley says, “And Angelo, get well soon~!” These three psychos laugh as they head out into the night, what is going to happen to Ruby and Parker once The Outcasts are down with them?

The trio of Top Flight and the Lucha Amigos continue their battles, even now in singles competition! Will the Sight to See get a big win here tonight? Or will he learn that only Penta has #CeroMiedo?

The bell rings and the fans rally up for “CERO! MIEDO!” Penta and Action step up, and Penta pushes Action. Action pushes back, so Penta says, “Listen! CERO! MIEDO!” Penta pie faces Action, but Action nods, and trips Penta! Things speed up, Penta hurdles but Action leaps over. They keep going, Action tilt-o-whirl headscissors! Action then kips up, but Penta ducks ‘n’ dodges to SLINGBLADE! And SLINGBLADE again! The fans fire up with Penta and he swings again. Action dodges, tilt-o-whirls with an extra rotation, to then DDT! The fans fire up as Penta bails out, and Action builds speed to DIVE into a GAMANGIRI!

The fans fire up again as Action flops to the apron. Penta brings Action around to CHOP! Penta stalks Action around the way, but Action CHOPS in return! Penta CHOPS again! Penta RAMS Action into steel steps, then refreshes the ring count. Penta drags Action up and around, hushes the fans, and whips. But Action goes up the apron to SUPESRKICK back! Action aims and leaps, FLYING RANA sends Penta tumbling! The fans fire up, Action stands Penta up, and he UPPERCUTS! Penta leans against railing as Rampage goes picture in picture.

Action storms up on Penta to CHOP! Penta turns things around to CHOP back! Action turns things around, and he CHOPS back! Penta turns it around again for another CHOP! Penta storms up on Action, but Action kicks low. Action RAMS Penta into steel steps, then puts Penta in the ring. Action hurries to scoop and SLAM Penta, then he runs to ropes for a SPLASH! Cover, TWO! Action pushes Penta to another cover, TWO! Penta stays in this and Action is annoyed. Action brings Penta up, ROCKS him with forearms, then whips. Penta holds ropes to then SUPERKICK back! Penta brings Action around, and he rallies the fans.

Penta CLUBS Action, CLUBS him again, and then CHOPS! Action falls, Penta hears the fans chant “CERO! MIEDO!” and he brings Action back up. Penta whips Action to a corner to then GAMANGIRI! Penta sits Action down, runs side to side, and SUPERKICKS! Action’s got Penta’s foot stuck in his nose, but Penta steps away as the ref counts. Penta drags Action back up but Rampage goes to break.

Rampage returns and Penta CHOPS Action on the back! Then Penta reels Action in for a GERMAN SUPLEX, but Action lands on his feet! Action BOOTS Penta, runs and CLOBBERS him! Action rallies with big forearms, then he whips Penta to ropes. Penta reverses but Action holds ropes. Penta runs in but is put on the apron. Action HANDSPRING KICKS Penta down, then he somersaults to the apron to then SENTON on the floor! Action puts Penta in, goes to the corner, and he springboards, into a SUPERKICK! The fans fire up and Penta drags Action up. “CERO! MIEDO!” and Penta runs, but into a SPANISH FLY! Cover, TWO!!

Penta survives and Action is shocked! The fans rally up, Penta and Action rise. Penta goes to a corner, Action runs corner to corner, but Penta BOOTS him! Penta pops Action up to SUPERKICK, then he fireman’s carries! DEATH VALLEY POWERSLAM! Cover, TWO!! Now Penta is shocked! The fans are thunderous as Penta drags Action up. Penta reels Action in, “CERO! MIEDO!” FEAR- NO, Action slips up and over, shoves Penta to a corner, then runs in. Penta pops Action up but Action lands on ropes to hop back, POISON-RANA!! Cover, TWO?!?! Penta survives and Action is beside himself!

Action sure took some high risks, but Penta still won out! Now, will Penta’s amigos win in tonight’s Triple Threat Tag main event? Or will Top Flight keep their tag title tournament hopes strong?

Tag Team Triple Threat: Private Party VS Top Flight VS Bryan Keith & Komander w/ Alex Abrahantes!

Sting & Darby Allin vacated the titles and Tony Khan is creating a tag title tournament to give AEW some March madness! Will Marq Quen & Isiah Kassidy have their shot, shot, shot? Will Dante & Darius Martin finally have some golden tickets? Or will The Bounty Hunter finally have a prize in sight alongside the AAA Cruiserweight Champion?

The teams sort out and in this kind of Triple Threat Tag, only two teams are legal, so Keith steps up against Brother Zay. The fans rally as these two circle, feel things out, but then Zay tags out to Quen. Quen mocks Keith’s cowboy style as he walks around bowlegged. Then Quen tags Dante in! Private Party seems to just wanna goof around but Angel Dorado ties up with Keith. Keith powers Dante to a corner, lets off, but then Dante dodges the chop! Dante headlocks, but Keith powers up and out. Dante goes up and over, then headlocks again. Keith powers up and out again, Dante rolls and comes back to dodge the boot!

Keith avoids Dante’s boot, and the fans rally for “BOUNTY HUNTER!” Keith nods, runs up, but into Dante’s JUMP KNEE! Dante brings Keith around to throw elbows in the Top Flight corner. Tag to Darius, and the Martins double whip. Keith KICKS Darius away, dodges Dante to BOOT him down, then he breaks through Darius’ chop, only for Darius to block the boot! Komander jumps in and it’s a 2v2 stare down. But then Private Party jumps in to blindside them all! They TOSS Keith & Komander, but are too busy swaggering, Top Flight DOUBLE DROPKICK them! The fans are torn but Top Flight builds speed, to DOUBLE fake out Private Party.

Private Party then runs into Keith & Komander. They brawl, but then Top Flight return the favor by going after them! It’s chaos as Komander and Dante mug Zay on one side while Quen fights off Keith and Darius on the other. The ref reprimands but that’s all he can do. Dante still pushes Zay into the ring as Rampage goes picture in picture.

Darius sees Zay, brings him up, but Zay throws body shots. Zay ROCKS Darius, puts him on the apron, and Quen anchors a foot> Darius kicks Quen away but Zay HOTSHOTS Darius down! Zay tags Quen, they mug Darius, but Keith runs up to throw hands on Quen! Quen knees low, whips Keith to a corner, then runs up, but into a BOOT! Keith BLASTS Zay, but Quen BOOTS Keith! Quen checks his chin, drags Keith up, and Quen bumps Keith off buckles. Quen RAMS into Keith again and again, then he snapmares Keith. Tag to Zay and Zay slingshot SENTONS! Zay stomps Keith around, even at the ropes.

The ref reprimands but Zay stomps and stomps and stomps until he’s done. Zay drags Keith onto ropes to CHOKE him! The ref reprimands and counts, Zay lets off but that lets Quen CHOKE Keith! Quen lets off and tags in. Private Party double whip Keith, DOUBLE ELBOW, then Quen taunts Komander and Top Flight. Cover, TWO! Quen drags Keith up, puts him on the apron, and Zay SUPERKICKS Keith! The ref reprimands but Quen brings Keith up the ropes. Quen deadlift SUPERPLEXES! Quen fires up and he drags Keith away from the other corners. Quen bumps Keith off buckles, tags Zay, and Zay snapmares Keith to then CLUB him into a chinlock.

Zay squeezes tight, Keith endures, and the fans rally up. Komander and even Top Flight coach Keith, and Keith fights up to his feet. Keith throws body shots but Zay squeezes tighter. Rampage returns to single picture as Keith fights free with forearms! Zay swings, Keith ducks and Keith DROPKICKS Zay down! Keith staggers, Quen runs in but Keith TOSSES him! Keith reaches out, Zay grabs a foot, and Zay ducks the enzigiri! Keith still fights, but Quen Electric Chair SLAMS Komander off the apron! Fans boo but Zay stomps Keith down! Zay drags Keith up, whips him to the Private Party corner hard, then tags Quen.

Private Party mug Keith, then Quen digs a knee in. The fans rally as Zay tags back in. Quen climbs up, Zay kicks Keith, TWIST OF- NO, Keith sends Zay into Quen! Zay apologizes, swings on Keith, but Keith dodges to RISING HEADBUTT Quen! Then he fireman’s carries, USHIGOROSHI for Zay! Keith crawls to Top Flight, hot tag to Darius! Darius rallies on Zay, fires off UPPERCUT after UPPERCUT, then whips! Zay reverses, but Darius catches him for an atomic drop! BULLDOG HOTSHOT and GAMANGIRI! Quen runs up, into a BOOT! Darius steps in, DOUBLE COMPLETE SHOTS!! Cover on Zay, TWO!!

Zay survives but Darius keeps his focus. Darius suplexes Zay but Zay slips free and shoves Darius away! Darius BOOTS back, Komander sneaks a tag! Komander GAMANGIRIS, then climbs! Tightrope walk and MISSILE DROPKICK! Down goes Darius and the fans fire up! Komander dodges Zay to CHOP and CHOP and wrenches! Komander knuckle locks, CHOPS, then goes up and up, but Quen runs up! Komander PENALTY KICKS him first! Komander then leaps but Zay gets under! Zay and Quen coordinate, HOTSHOT 3D!! Zay hurries to cover, Dante breaks it!! Zay is furious but he focuses on Komander.

Tag to Quen, Zay feeds Komander to him, and they coordinate. But Keith gets in to EXPLODER Zay! Komander backslides Quen! TWO!! Quen escapes that one, staggers up, and Keith runs in! Quen ELBOWS Keith, but Dante tags in off Quen! Quen DECKS Dante, BOOTS Darius, then DUMPS Keith! Quen brings Komander up but Dante runs in, to LARIAT Quen! Then he half nelsons Komander and lifts, but Komander victory rolls through! TWO!! Dante escapes, and JUMP KNEES! Tag to Darius, Dante whips Komander but Komander reverses. Darius gives Dante the boost up and over, then ASISSTED-

NO, Komander stops the DDT! Komander kicks but Darius blocks, and Dante SUPERKICKS Komander! Keith is up but Dante SUPERKICKS him! Dante then FLIES out onto Private Party! Darius pump handles Komander for a RIPCORD FACEBUSTER!! Cover, Top Flight wins!

It was a fast and furious finish from these teams, but it was the Coldest Tag Team in the Game that came out on top! Action joins his guys to celebrate, will Darius & Dante be number one seeds in the AEW Tag Team Championship Tournament?

My Thoughts:

A great Rampage, though hard to say as much crucial story stuff happened this time as the past few weeks. The matches were all pretty much momentum builders rather than story builders, because of course Top Flight is getting in the tag title tournament, as are Cassidy & Trent. Great matches, especially the tag triple threat, but hard to really say they added much. Penta VS Action was also great, but that was mostly to parallel how Top Flight and Penta’s teammates were also active tonight. Really good TBS Championship match and I do commend Robyn having an outside-the-box stipulation. But yeah, Julia was retaining so she could face Willow or Kris or whoever it is for Dynasty.

I think the biggest stuff was actually the promos from Ruby and The Outcasts. Things are heating up in that story, and Zak is being given his own violent and unhinged character to go along with Saraya and Harley. There’s gotta be a Mixed Tag at some point, as well as Ruby VS Saraya to finish this once and for all. That would also be some pretty big stuff for Dynasty, as Saraya doesn’t really wrestle all that often, thereby making those times she does more special. Then the winner of the blowoff can get themselves in on a title story. Or at least, we can hope, even though the title scenes are busy and we’re about to add Mercedes Mone/Sasha Banks to AEW.
