What is Cia’s response to Ganon?

The last time HPW saw Cia, she lost in the Goddess Contender’s Tournament, and was then offered to form an alliance with Ganon! What’s her answer?

The Dark Forces visit Ganon’s lair.

Well, that is to say, they visit his mansion while he once again throws a massive party. Cia knocks on the door, and it’s answered by Zant. “About time,” Zant says. “This way.” He leads Cia, Volga, Wizzro & Kevin Gibdo inside, up the stairs and to a lounge room. Ganon is relaxing on a big plush purple couch, a lady Hylian on either side of him. Ghirahim also lounges, but on the loveseat, and all by himself. They see the Dark Forces walk in and Ganon says, “Finally! Welcome, welcome. Sit, have something to drink, maybe something to eat. Kevin does eat, doesn’t he?” Ghirahim chuckles but there’s no noticeable reaction from Kevin.

Cia does take a glass of champagne as she sits in the armchair opposite of Ghirahim. Meanwhile, Volga grabs a huge handful of the pub mix out of the small serving bowl. Volga munches on pretzel sticks and cheese puffs while he stands behind Cia’s chair. Ganon asks where Kage is, and Cia says she doesn’t know. She hasn’t seen him or heard from him since HyruleMania. For all anyone knows, he’s quit the group, and maybe even quit HPW. Ganon says that’s a shame, but he doesn’t exactly sound that concerned. “So,” Cia starts, “you want to join The Dark Forces?”

“No,” Ganon corrects, “I want The Dark Forces to join me. “Seeing as how I’m the only one holding a championship in HPW, I’d be in charge.” Zant and Ghirahim snicker as if Cia missed something obvious. Cia sighs and says, “Fine. But the whole point of this is about getting more belts, right?” Ganon says, “Of course. But just so we’re all clear, when it comes to THE HPW Triforce World Championship, that one’s mine.” Volga says, “Too bad you weren’t in the tournament then.” Ganon says, “I’m sorry, are you still in the tournament?” Ghirahim and Zant laugh and Volga glares at them.

“Whenever an opportunity for the Trifore Championship arises,” Cia says while side-eyeing Volga, “we will let you take it. And if you don’t succeed, then someone else can try the next time.” “Of course,” Ganon says again as he and Cia both give disingenuous smiles. Ganon continues by saying that with him being Termina Champion and the future Triforce World Champion, and Cia of course being the future Goddess Champion, Ghirahim of course wants the Death Mountain Championship. That leaves Zant and “your boys” to go for the Trios Championships. “Actually,” Kevin speaks up, surprising everyone, even Ganon’s ladies.

Kevin steps forward and says he’s challenging ReDead for the Million Rupee Championship. Ganon chuckles and says alright then. Then Wizzro will have to help Volga and Zant take the Trios Championships. That’s all the belts accounted for. Let’s toast. Cia and Ganon raise their glasses, they clink, and then drink. The Dark Forces is bigger and badder than ever, are they going to take over HPW?

My Thoughts:

Hooray! Now The Dark Forces are just like in the Hyrule Warriors video game! Well, I think it’s later in the story but yeah, Ganon’s in charge, bringing Ghirahim & Zant along, and the group’s gonna try and take all the titles. Let’s just wait and see if they succeed.
