BWN returns this week to look at some world-changing things happening all across the Nerdosphere. This begins with Episode 7 of Season 4 of The Boys. The penultimate Episode for this season had a dizzying number of moving parts including a Supe virus gone wrong, a shocking death, more gruesome moments, and a cliffhanger involving one of our favorite characters. It all sets up for an unforgettable season finale and the guys break it all down for you. Speaking of favorite shows, the fellas take a look at the latest trailer for the final season of The Umbrella Academy. But the MCU kind of dominated the Trailer Park this week as we got our first look at Agatha All Along and Captain America: Brave New World. Dave’s somewhat tepid reaction to the latter trailer brought Rey out of his extended vacation and we have all the details for you here on this Episode. All that plus X-Men ’97 got a new writer, a surprising casting decision for Booster Gold, and the guys look at the schedule for D23 to let you know what they have their eyes on.

This week, Dave & Tunney are joined by a very familiar friend as DJ jumps on the bandwagon to bring you all the latest from the Nerdosphere. We begin with a powerful installment of the Trailer Park as we take a look at trailers for The Sandman (Season 2), The Naked Gun, Springsteen, and then one personally shared by DJ….the reboot of The Toxic Avenger! News Around the Nerdosphere covers all sorts of topics including a Fantastic Four sequel already in the works, more rumors of He Who Shall No Longer Be Named showing up in Ironheart, whether Elio’s bad box office beginning should be a cause for concern, and confirmation that The Punisher will make an appearance in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. There was also plenty of news on the DC side of things, including Reddit firing back against a particular user trying to ruin Superman before it ever even comes out and James Gunn’s response to that. Speaking of Gunn, he addressed complaints about Batman 2‘s delay issues, as well as sharing his vision for the DCU’s version of Batman. Lastly, we discuss David Zaslav getting hit with a massive pay cut. Are his days as head of WB numbered? Tune in and find out.

This week, the full complement of Nerds celebrates Father’s Day by looking at new trailers for Iron Heart and Superman. There was also a pleasant surprise this week, as a sequel to Spaceballs was officially announced, along with the return of some beloved cast members from the original. The live-action Legend of Zelda has been delayed by a few weeks. Is this a big nothing burger or a reason to be concerned? Disney & Universal take aim at MidJourney with a landmark lawsuit that could have big implications for AI-generated images moving forward. The guys say farewell to Sly Stone and Brian Wilson. All that, plus why are Marvel and DC skipping San Diego Comic-Con this year? Tune in and find out.
