The fans boo, but Toni puts those sunglasses on! The fans cheer, and then Toni hits a THESZ PRESS! Toni rains down fast hands, then fires up with the fans! Toni whips Taya to BOOT her down, then brings her back up to snap suplex! Toni storms after Taya to a corner, and she TOSSES Taya across the way! Taya flounders, Toni storms up on her, and TOSSES her back the other way! The fans fire up as Toni looks like a Terminator with those glasses!

Toni runs and HIP ATTACKS Taya off the apron! The ref keeps Toni out, Taya says Toni’s out of her mind! Taya drags herself up but Toni runs up, only to be sent into steel steps! The fans boo, but Taya METEORAS Toni into the steps! The fans boo more but Taya soaks up the heat. Taya drags Toni up, even as the fans rally. Taya CHOPS Toni against railing, and Toni staggers away. Taya storms after Toni, CHOPS her again, then refreshes the ring count. Taya brings Toni around, whips her, but Toni reverses to send Taya into railing! Taya blows kisses, kicks Toni around, then stalks her to railing. Taya pushes Toni back into the ring, stomps her in a corner, and lets off as the ref counts. Taya soaks up the heat, goes back for Toni, and drags her up to fire forearms against ropes! The ref counts, Taya TOSSES Toni and runs to SLIDING LARIAT! Cover, TWO! Toni crawls, reaches out, and has the ROPEBREAK! The ref counts, Taya lets go at 4, and Taya runs back up. Toni ELBOWS Taya, goes to a corner, then goes up and over! Taya fires more CHOPS, then paces around. Taya blocks kicks, ENZIGIRIS, then runs to SLIDING GERMAN! The fans boo but Taya has a wild grin before she gets in the ring. Cover, TWO! Toni survives but Taya slaps fire back into herself. Taya drags Toni up, chicken wings, but Toni fights the lift. Toni ducks ‘n ‘dodges, but Taya SPEARS! Then the chicken wings, for the ROAD TO VALHALLA! Cover, TWO!!! Taya is shocked that Toni survives her best shot! But Taya ties up the legs, and she CLUBS away on Toni’s back! The fans rally, Toni claws forward, but Taya still pulls her back! Toni almost has it, but Taya lets go of the legs to get the arms! SHANIA PAIN!! Cover, ROPEBREAK!! Taya miscalculates and Toni survives by a literal foot! Taya is furious, and she scuffs Toni. Taya slaps Toni around but the fans boo. Taya drags Toni up but Toni HEADBUTTS! And then STORM ZERO!! Mariah May… You were… perfect!” Toni is emotional as she kneels by her title. Mariah was Toni’s dreams come to life. And sometimes, Mariah was even a better Toni than Toni! The fans boo in disagreement, but Toni tells Mariah that she made one miniscule mistake. Because when Mariah had Toni on her knees, crying, screaming, and bleeding, Mariah should’ve CUT HER BLOODY HEAD OFF!! The fans fire up as Toni is going wild! Will she make Mariah pay for turning this dream into a nightmare?

Lexy Nair is with Mr. Superbad and says just last night, he made his in-ring return in the Royal Rampage, and there already seems to be tension between him and The Patriarchy. Kip says everyone knows by now that he tragically lost his father. And the past four months have been a roller coaster of emotions. But it made it clear to Kip what was important to him. And what is important to him is that he makes his family proud, that he becomes the best wrestler in AEW. Now, the Patriarchy did attack him, but he’s letting that go. Nick Wayne still can’t let it go, though. They were both in the Royal Rampage, and Nick had a good show.

But what happened? Nick came after Kip, stepped up to Kip, and got eliminated. Kip will let this go, but if Nick won’t, then he knows where to find Kip. Kip’s back and better than ever! Then will the Patriarchy’s Prodigy look to have himself a Superbad time?

Speaking of obsessions, The Babe with the Power has Kris Statlander stalking her, trying to ruin her life and all that. But they’ll settle things Wednesday. For now, The Virtuosa wants to stake her own claim to this title. Will Deonna tear down Willow before Kris ever gets a chance? Or will Willow prove that when nothing matters and you smile anyway, you can do anything?

The bell rings and the fans rally up. The two circle, feel things out, and tie up. They go around, Willow goes for an arm to wrench and wristlock. Deonna wrenches out, headlocks, but Willow stops the takeover! Willow throws Deonna away and the fans fire up. The two circle again, tie up, and Deonna waistlocks. Willow and Deonna slowly rise up, and Willow waistlocks. Deonna fights that, switches, but Willow switches back. Deonna reaches out, Taya reaches out with the bar! The ref sees Taya and says stop that! Taya backs off, but here comes Rosa! La Mera Mera GERMAN SUPLEXES Taya! Rosa fires off on Taya, Willow and Deonna brawl in the ring! Deonna runs, but Willow goes the other way, POUUUNCE~! PERIOD!!

While Roderick Strong could not take the ROH World Championship from Mark Briscoe, Matt Taven & Mike Bennett did hold onto their ROH World Tag Team Championships. Will they all reign together now that they can go after these restored ROH World Six Man titles? Or will The Natural prove to Marshall & Ross that all Rhodes lead to championships?

The introductions are made, the belts await on stage, and we see who rides off into the sunset here in Texas!

The trios sort out and Roddy starts against Ross. But then Roddy bails out to insult Papa Kevin? Roddy hurries away to then circle with Ross. They feel things out, tie up, and Ross waistlocks. Roddy wrenches out to wristlock, but Ross rolls, kips up, and DROPKICKS Roddy! The fans cheer, Ross keeps on Roddy and tags in Marshall. The Von Erichs whip, and DROPKICK! Cover, ONE!! Marshall brings Roddy up to headlock but Roddy RAMS him into the Kingdom’s corner! Bennett tags in, he fires off on Marshall with forearms and CHOPS! The fans boo, the ref counts, but Bennett whips. But Marshall hip tosses him!

Marshall hip tosses again, but then Bennett blocks the third! Bennett knees low, tags Taven, and Taven runs in, into a hip toss! The Kingdom regroups outside, huddle up, but Dustin & The Von Erichs go out after them! They brawl, Marshall with Taven, Ross with Roddy, and Dustin with Bennett. Things go around to the ramp side and Ross DECKS Roddy. Taven CHOPS Marshall, Dustin keeps on Bennett with haymakers. The ref wants this in the ring but Marshall CHOPS Taven! And CHOPS again! Dustin sends Bennett into railing, Roddy KNEES Ross. Roddy kicks Marshall, Marshall ROCKS Roddy. Ross brings Taven up, The Von Erichs put Taven and Roddy in but Bennett rebounds to BOSTON BAYONET Dustin!

Roddy & Taven come back, they WRECK Ross & Marshall! Bennett gives Dustin a PILEDRIVER to the ramp!! The fans boo but Roddy puts Marshall in the ring. Kevin can only watch on as his sons and his friend are in trouble. Roddy drags Marshall up, CHOPS him in the corner, CHOPS him again, then CHOPS again! Roddy tags Bennett, Bennett stomps a mudhole into Marshall. The ref counts, Bennett tags Roddy back in. They double whip Marshall, but Marshall stops himself! Marshall TOSSES Bennett, BOOTS Roddy, hot tag to Ross! Ross dodges Roddy to BOOT Taven! BIG hip toss for Roddy!

Ross back drops Bennett! He back drops Taven! The fans fi reup, Ross runs up, but Strong catches him for a BACKBREAKER! Roddy rains down fists on Ross, soaks up some heat, and he puts Ross in the corner. Tag to Taven, he CHOPS, and CHOPS, then tags Bennett. Bennett CHOPS, stomps, and ROCKS Ross! Bennett drags Ross to a cover, TWO! Bennett keeps Ross down with a chinlock but Ross fights up fast. Ross fires body shots, runs, but Bennett CLOBBERS him, right as BOTB returns to single picture. Tag to Taven, he and Bennett haul Ross up. Taven suplexes high and hard, then covers, TWO!

The fans rally up for Ross while Taven clamps on a chinlock. Kevin is worried for his son, but at least Dustin’s back at ringside. Ross fights up but Taven throws him by his hair! Taven and the ref argue, and Taven clamps on a chinlock again. Ross endures, fights up, and JAWBREAKERS free! Ross hurries, but Taven anchors his legs! Taven drags Ross back, but Ross BOOTS free! Hot tag to Bennett and he anchors Ross’ leg! Ross kicks free all the same! Roddy runs in to stop Ross, but Ross still fights. So Bennett DECKs Marshall! Roddy back suplexes, Ross lands out and SLINGBLADES! Both men are down and the fans fire up!

Dustin drags himself up! The fans are thunderous for Dustin as he reaches out! Ross crawls, so does Roddy, hot tags to Bennett and Dustin! The Natural rallies on Bennett with LARIAT after LARIAT! Dustin whips, Bennett reverses, but “Not today!” RHODES UPPERCUT! Roddy runs in, he gets a SNAP POWERSLAM! Bennett gets back up, he gets a SNAP POWERSLAM! Taven runs up, springboard, into an atomic drop! Dustin runs to BULLDOG! Dustin has the fans all fired up, and he runs up on Taven! DESTROYER!! Dustin goes back for Bennett, dragon sleepers, and CROSS RHODES!! Dustin reels Bennett in, for a PILEDRIVER!! Cover, Roddy & Taven break it!

The Von Erichs go after Roddy & Taven! They throw The Kingdom out but The Kingdom drags them out! Marshall is sent into railing, Ross is sent into POST! Taven & Roddy mug Marshall, but Dustin sets Bennett up in a corner! The fans fire up as Dustin opens Bennett’s legs! Dustin ROCKS Bennett, but then Taven grabs at Dustin’s legs! Dustin kicks Taven, Bennett gets free and runs up! Dustin ELBOWS Bennett away! Dustin runs, but into a SPINEBUSTER! Taven adds a LIONSAULT but he FLOPS! RHODES UPPERCUT! The brawling continues, but now Taven is sent into railing! Taven SUPERKICKS Ross back! Roddy POSTS Marshall, then he and Taven grab the ROH World Tag Team belts! The fans boo, but the ref stops each of them! Only for Bennett to grab the bull rope! COWBELL SHOT!! Cover, TWO?!?! Dustin survives and the fans go wild! The Kingdom is beside themselves, and the fans tell them they messed up now! Taven says screw it, he brings out chairs!

Wait, here comes SHIBATA! He backed up the Texas boys last night, and now he has an IRON CLAW on Taven! So Kevin goes after Roddy with an IRON CLAW! The ref is busy with Dustin, The Kingdom gets what they deserve! Bennett fireman’s carries, but Ross & Marshall get in! Feed to a KNEE, then a DISCUS LARIAT! Then they feed Bennett to the FINAL RECKONING!! Cover, TEAM TEXAS WINS!!

Winners: Dustin Rhodes & The Von Erichs, by pinfall (NEW ROH World Six Man Tag Team Champions)

Kevin grabs the belts and brings them to his sons, as well as his good friend, Dustin! Shibata also celebrates with the newly minted champions, as does the locker room as they walk out from the back! Streamers fly, and even Paul Wight steps in to shake everyone’s hands. A new chapter begins in ROH, will it be the greatest throwback in wrestling history?

My Thoughts:

A very good Battle of the Belts, but at the same time, mostly as expected. I figured Toni Storm and Willow Nightingale were each winning their matches, but at least there was story tied in to give reasons why. Taya of course tried to help Deonna but of course Rosa wasn’t gonna have that, so it all cancels out and Willow wins. Toni wins because she needs momentum to keep up with Mariah May. I feel like there should be a big tag match or two before All In. They’ve done “All Star 8 Man” tags before big PPVs, why not do one for the ladies? Could just be a 3v3 of Toni, Willow & Rosa VS Taya, Deonna & Mariah, maximum star power in just one match.

And of course because it was truly to crown new champions, the ROH World Six Man titles take the main event. Great stuff, and perhaps I should’ve guessed Dustin & The Von Erichs were winning. They kinda did the same booking as when Dustin & The Von Erichs won just last night at Death Before Dishonor, though. Dustin gets taken out for the majority, it is up to Ross and Marshall to tough it out, and then Dustin comes back to rally and win it for them. I do appreciate that Shibata and Kevin Von Erich got to use Iron Claws on the side, though. And I’m thinking this means Dustin & The Von Erichs hold down the weekly ROH TV tapings, especially while AEW is still in Texas and the Esports Stadium for a little while longer.
