ROH World Tag Team Championships: The Kingdom VS Dustin Rhodes & Sammy Guevara!

Given the vicious beating that happened just last Thursday night, naturally this match was happening! Matt Taven & Mike Bennett had the advantage when it was 8v4, but will they make it out of Esports Stadium when its 2v2? Or will they be on the bad side of a Texas two-step from these true Texas heroes?

The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and we see just who is undisputed!

The teams sort out and Bennett starts against Dustin. They circle, feel things out, and the fans rally up. They tie up, Bennett puts Dustin in the corner, but Dustin fires hands on Bennett and even Taven! Bennett kicks low, stomps, but Dustin dodges the chop to CHOP, and CHOP again! The fans “WOO~!” and Dustin whips. Bennett reverses but Dustin says “Not Today!” Well Bennett steps back to avoid the uppercut, and he SUPERKICKS! Bennett takes a deep breath, then ROCKS Dustin to a corner. Bennett stomps and CHOPS, then tags Taven. The Kingdom double whip, but Dustin UPPERCUTS after all!

Dustin dodges Taven, comes back, and again, “Not Today!” UPPERCUTS! Tag to Sammy, he goes up and DOUBLE CROSSBODIES! The fans are fired up as Sammy LARIATS Bennett up and out! Sammy whips Taven, hurdles then flips over to DROPKICK! And kips up so smooth! The fans cheer as Sammy takes a bow, then he DIVES! Down goes Bennett, but Sammy keeps going! Sammy builds speed to FLY onto Taven! The fans fire up and Sammy high-fives the front row. Sammy goes back to the ring and he sees The Kingdom regroup. Sammy fakes them out with a springboards, then spins back to pose!

The Kingdom gets in but Dustin BLASTS them! Dustin does a spinarooni, and he poses next to Sammy! Taven returns, but he get s a DOUBLE FLAPJACIK! Sammy covers, but Bennett drags him out! Bennett whips, Sammy reverses and Bennett hits railing! Sammy CHOPS Bennett, whips him again, but Bennett rebounds off ropes! Sammy dodges to SUPERKICK! Taven WRECKS Sammy with a dropkick! Dustin grabs Taven by his hair, but the ref reprimands. Dustin lets go, Taven sputters, but Bennet CHOKES Sammy during the chaos! Taven goes out to drag Sammy up, and RAMS him into steel steps!

The ref reprimands everyone and they all back up. Taven fetches Sammy into the ring, brings him up at the ropes, and he CHOKES Sammy! The ref counts, Taven lets off at 4, but Bennett gets a cheap shot in! Taven goes out to fetch Sammy again, then he tags Bennett. The Kingdom hold a leg and dropkick it! Cover, TWO! Bennett clamps onto Sammy with a chinlock and grinds him down. Sammy endures, fights around, and stands up to throw body shots. Sammy then ROCKS Bennett, CHOPS him, and runs, into a DROPKICK! Bennett flexes, soaks up the heat, and again takes a deep breath.

Bennett stomps Sammy, tags Taven, and Taven stomps Sammy! Taven digs his boot into Sammy’s face, the ref counts, and Taven lets off. Sammy goes to ropes, Taven brings him around and suplexes high and hard! Cover, TWO! Taven is frustrated but he tags Bennett back in. The Kingdom get Sammy up, then Bennett sucker punches Dustin! The fans are electric as Team Texas teaches The Kingdom a lesson! The ref reprimands, they need to go! But wait, Brian Cage & The Gates of Agony are here! This is starting to look like Thursday night! Cage, Kaun & Liona beat down Marshall & Ross, and the fans boo again! Ross is sent into railing, but wait! The Conglomeration is here! Mark Briscoe, Tomohiro Ishii & Kyle O’Reilly Brawl with everyone else! It’s madness at ringside!

The ref reprimands all however many people this is now, but in the ring, Taven has Dustin in a cradle! TWO!!! Dustin escapes, Taven is livid, but he tags in Bennett! The Kingdom drags Dustin up, they reel him in, but Sammy CLUBS Taven! The fans fire up as Sammy gives Taven a SUPER CUTTER!! Dustin back drops Bennett away! Backstage interview with Chris Jericho.

Renee Paquette is with The Learning Tree and says we are just 8 DAYS away from All In London, where Jericho puts his FTW Championship on the line against Hook. However, there is the stop over in Cardiff, Wales, for the first-ever Dynamite in Wales, and Jericho takes on The Dynamite Kid, Tommy Billington. Jericho says, “Hi, guys~! You’re right, Renee. It’s gonna be a busy week for The Learning Tree. Hook returning with a vengeance, with one eye. Hook, like I said on Dynamite last week, you’re pretty stupid to wanna challenge The Learning Tree after I blinded you. Maybe I’ll blind you in the other eye as well, Hook.”

Because as Jericho has said, this is Hook’s LAST chance to get the For The World Championship away from Jericho. It’s not gonna happen. And when Jericho beats Hook, Hook steps out of the vortex forever! He is banned! As far as the new Dynamite Kid, he reminds Jericho of Hook: Entitled! Tommy’s done a lot of great things in his young career, so congratulations. But when Jericho found out that his Hook match was official, Jericho wanted a warm-up. Jericho wanted to take on one of the UK’s best and hottest prospects, and that’s Tommy. But y’know what? Jericho knew the original Dynamite Kid! And Jericho will tell ya this: he wouldn’t like Tommy.

Why? Because Tommy hasn’t been properly trained, and hasn’t been properly brought up in the business. Jericho trained in The Hart Dungeon! Jericho’s face was ground into a dirty mat over and over again. Jericho wasn’t on TV for years when he started, and yet here Tommy is, facing The Learning Tree on AEW Dynamite! Jericho is a modern day Stu Hart, and he will teach Tommy quite a few lessons in violence, right in front of Tommy’s people in the UK! Jericho tears Tommy apart branch by branch! Serpentico rallies the fans, and both Hologram and Angelico rise. Hologram fireman’s carries, and he WASTELAND SLAMS with some stank! The Scapegoat has raised the stakes at All In, making his TNT Championship match with Darby Allin a Casket Match! Will Jack show Darby you have to be ready to die to become the Face of TNT? Or is he overlooking the opponent right in front of him?

The bell rings, Orion fires up and so do the fans! Jack is not amused, and he kicks Orion low! Jack LARIATS in the corner, CHOPS him, then ROCKS him and CHOPS him again! Jack KNEES low, CLUBS Orion again and again, then brings him around. Jack runs, to hit the COMEBACKER! The fans boo but Jack doesn’t care. Jack aims from the corner, Orion sits up, into the SACRIFICE KNEE! Cover, Jack wins!

The fans boo but again, Jack doesn’t care. He’s in a fighting mood all because of Darby Allin. In fact, he doesn’t seem to be done with Danny! Jack brings out a mysterious bag, and a few other items. This is of course all a message being sent to Darby as Jack zips Orion up. Jack even SPITS on the TNT Championship, and puts it in the bag!? Then what is that in the black velvet bag? Oh of course, it’s a new belt, a DARK TNT Championship!

It seems Jack Perry is burying the TNT Championship’s past right next to where he left “Jungle Boy,” but will he do the same to Darby Allin at All In? Or will the title’s makeover be for naught when there’s a NEW Face of TNT?

AEW hears from The House of Black and The Bang Bang Gang.

Malakai steps forward and asks, “Members of the House of Black, please rise.” Brody King says, “For months, the path to reclaiming the Trios Championships was in the palm of our hands.” Buddy Matthews says, “Until a man, that has everyone turning a blind eye, took it away.” Juice Robinson tells Christian Cage that The Patriarchy’s been screwing the BBG six ways to Sunday for months now. The House says, “Those who have power… Only have it… Because others think they do.” Austin Gunn says Christian injured Jay White, which led to Christopher Daniels stripping BBG of the belts.

Juice says then, in the big redemption match, “that hellacious hellcat,” Shayna Wayne, sprayed Juice in the eyes! Brody says Wembley was meant to be The House’s opportunity to stand at the top of the Trios Division ladder. Austin says the cherry on top was taking the Bang Bang Gang’s Wembley Moment. Malakai says it is ironic that Christian already brought in the chairs. Juice says eventually, Christiaan’s gonna run outta places to hide. He’ll run out of rules to break, and he’ll run out of matches to ruin. Buddy says The House Always Wins. And if you’re not done with that, BBG has two words for ya: GUNS UP!

Brody asks if Christian’s starting to feel nostalgic. Then does that mean these two teams are about to turn the tables on Captain Charisma?

Speaking of Cardiff, The Swiss Superman is ready to return to Wales to take on The Rainmaker for the Continental Championship! However, he must first battle The Bad Child, who himself is hoping to make himself The Man of the Hour. Will Lio ruin a bit of Claudio’s momentum? Or is there no stopping Claudio this close to his golden opportunity?

The bell rings and the fans duel, but the “LIO! LIO!” seems pretty strong over the “CLAUDIO!” chants. The two circle, and then they feel things out. Lio spins, gets around, and runs. Lio redirects, wheelbarrows, but Claudio stops the arm-drag! Claudio YANKS Lio up, but LIo ducks ‘n’ dodges and tilt-o-whirls, but Claudio stops the DDT! Claudio powers up to gut wrench Lio, and the fans fire up as Claudio THROWS Lio! Lio lands on his feet to STUNNER! Victory roll, ONE!! Claudio BOOTS Lio down! The fans fire up while Lio flounders to a corner. Claudio storms up, but Lio BOOTS him!

Claudio goes around and around with Lio as the fans fire up! Claudio stops at TEN to TOSS Lio away! Lio sputters and the fans cheer more. The ref checks Lio, but Lio says he can still fight. Lio sits up, Claudio drags him back and the fans want that “ONE MORE TIME!” So Claudio GIANT SWINGS again!! This time, Claudio goes for four before he TOSSES Lio! Claudio fires up as Collision returns to single picture!

Lio staggers up, Claudio runs in at the corner, but Lio dodges! Claudio hits buckles, Lio goes up and up and FLYING- NO, Claudio stops the Poison-Rana to swing Lio up, around, but Lio RAN- NO! Claudio stops even the regular rana! Lio kicks free, no more swinging! Lio DUMPS Claudio out, then HANDSPRING KICKS him! Claudio is dizzy now, but Lio runs up again! HANDSPRING KICK and down goes Claudio! The fans rally and duel as Lio builds speed, to DIVE! But Claudio catches Lio again! And he TOSSES Lio, but Lio lands on the apron, to FLYING RANA! The fans fire up as Lio tumbles right by them! Claudio then goes to the ring, letting the count handle this. Lio flounders up, finds his way back to the railing, but we’re at 8 of 10! And guess what? TK says that whoever wins gets to pick the stipulation for All Out, Willow VS Kris for the CMLL Women’s World Championship! And you heard Kris! Stoke gonna kick Ishii’s ass! Stoke’s the Pitbull around here! Stoke tries to bark but his voice cracks a bit. Kris promises Willow that the end is near, but is it going to be the end of Stokely first?

No, he’s still messed up, with a long road to go, but he’ll get doing it. But there is something he’s been noticing on Dynamite lately. And that is Bryan Danielson. Which Bryan are we seeing here? This ain’t the Bryan that used to beat Eddie up. This ain’t the Bryan that had one of the greatest matches Eddie’s ever seen, Bryan Danielson VS KENTA in ROH. This Bryan we’re seeing is disrespectful to the sport. This Bryan is going to get beat at All In!

Because this Bryan doesn’t have the fire anymore. Why is Bryan doing this? Why is he even taking the match if this is not who he is anymore? Is Bryan going to step up? Is he going to write his last love song to pro-wrestling at All In? Or is he going in there to lose because he “ain’t got it” anymore? That’s something Bryan needs to figure out. Because if not, then what’s the point? The Mad King is putting The American Dragon on notice, will this be the thing that makes Bryan an AEW World Champion? Or is this motivation a little too late to save Bryan’s legacy?

London will lay at their feet! Big Ben will be timeless! And the rivers will turn red with Mariah’s blood as she forever regrets the day she turned on the woman who loved her! AEW World Tag Team Championship #1 Contenders Match: The Acclaimed VS FTR!

While The Young Bucks were trying to screw over Max Caster & Anthony Bowens on Dynamite, it was Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler getting involved that did screw The Acclaimed! But the solution was for these two teams to battle it out, the winners going to All In against Matthew & Nicholas! Will The Best Wrestler Alive & The Five Tool Player get even with one team to go back after the other? Or will the Top Guys #FinishTheirRedemption and revisit the first All In London one year later?

Before the match, The Acclaimed speak backstage. Caster tells FTR that those letters stand for “Forget Those Rednecks.” FTR’s legacy is not about this sport, but about their paychecks! Caster lays to rest the two that claim to be the best! Acclaimed beats you so bad, TK pays you less! Platinum Max, breakin’ necks! Turn them into laughing stocks, they’ll have to change address. Make them look so unattractive, they’ll have to go pray for sex! Acclaimed should be the champs, but FTR had to get in their biz-i-ness. Acclaimed put FTR underground in Texas like some immigrants!

FTR, you wanna say Caster making raps makes him unserious? Caster will prove that FTR needs tampons cuz they’ve got periods! Caster congratulates them both for reaching womanhood. Hairy chicks ain’t his thing, but they’re looking good. In Acclaimed, Caster’s the crazy one. Him, Bowens & Billy, they’re on a crazy run. Acclaimed forces FTR to say they won, and then Acclaimed gets those belts back at the stadium! Daddy Ass adds that when you call down the thunder, you get it! Bowens says FTR is finally going to NUT UP OR SHUT UP! The boys head out, but will they book their tickets to Wembley at FTR’s expense?

The teams sort out, the fans duel, Dax the Ax starts against Bowens the Scissor King. They circle, the fans duel harder, and the two tie up. They’re in a deadlock, but Bowens puts Dax in a corner. The ref counts, Bowens and Dax get out of the corner to still go collar ‘n’ elbow. They break, and the fans cheer this opening exchange. Dax and Bowens reset, tie up, and Bowens wrenches an arm. Bowens hammerlocks, but Dax slips around to hammerlock, headlock, but Bowens powers out. Dax RUNS Bowens over! Bowens gets up in a huff while the fans are torn. Bowens and Dax reset again, feel things out, and knuckle lock.

Dax headlocks, Bowens powers up and out, but Dax runs Bowens over! Things keep moving, Dax snatches Bowens to a cradle, TWO! The fans cheer and Dax tags in Cash. Bowens tags Cash, and these two circle now. They tie up, Cash headlocks, then hits a takeover. Caster headscissors, but Cash kips free and hits another headlock takeover. Caster headscissors again, Cash kips free again, but now Caster hits a headlock takeover. The fans are torn but Cash fights up and powers out. Cash drops down, drops down again, then RUNS Caster over! The fans are torn again while Cash throws up his own take on the scissor fingers.

Cash offers a hand to help Caster up but Caster refuses. They reset, circle, feel things knuckle locks out, but Cash blocks the kick! Cash reels Caster in to headlock, but Caster powers up and out. Cash runs Caster over, hits another takeover, and he grinds Caster down. Caster endures, fights up, and powers Cash to the corner. Tag to Bowens but Cash gets away. The fans rally as the two tie up, and Bowens wrenches to a wristlock. Cash reaches out, Dax tags in! Dax wrenches Bowens, hammerlocks, but Bowens slips around and snapmares to then roll and cradle, ONE!! Bowens headlocks for a takeover, and the fans cheer.

Dax endures, fights up, and he powers Bowens to a corner. The ref counts, Dax lets off slowly, but then he body shots low! And CHOPS! Bowens fires forearms on Dax, then CHOSP! And CHOPS! Bowens climbs, and the fans fire up as he rains down fists! But Dax stops him at five! Dax carries Bowens out but Bowens slips free, and he ROCKS Dax! Cash runs up, Bowens DECKS him! Dax is up but Caster DROPKICKS him! Caster DROPKICKS Cash, too! Acclaimed whip FTR to STEREO BACK DROP! Then Acclaimed STEREO LARIAT FTR up and out! The fans are all fired up, and Acclaimed egg FTR on.

The fans sing “OH~ Scissor Me, Daddy~!” Caster steps out to tag back in, he and Dax tie up. Dax puts Caster in the corner but Caster fires hands on him and Cash! Caster lifts Dax but Cash tags in before the atomic drop! Caster CLUBS Cash, storms out after Dax, and Dax leads him on cat ‘n’ mouse! Caster dodges Dax but Cash LARIATS! The fans are torn as FTR flexes and mock the scissors, and Collision goes picture in picture.

Cash brings Caster up to CHOP! Caster sputters, Cash CHOPS him against the apron! Cash brings Caster around again, but Caster RAMS Cash into the apron! Caster CHOPS, then puts Cash in. Cash CLUBS Caster on the return! Cash stomps away on Caster, then snapmares him for a basement LARIAT! Cash wraps Caster in a chinlock, but Caster endures the squeeze. Caster fights up as fans rally, and he fires body shots! Cash throws Caster back down and grinds him into the mat! Caster endures, fights up, and he powers his way forward! Cash digs in his heels, but Caster THROWS Cash away! But Cash just tags Dax!

Caster hurries but Dax CLOBBERS him! Dax pushes Caster around, drags him up, and tags Cash. FTR whips to drop toehold and ELBOW DROP! Cash clamps onto Caster, rains down fists, then clamps on a chinlock again as Collision goes to break.

Collision returns and Caster fights up, shifts around, and hits a BIG back suplex on Cash! The fans fire up while both men crawl! Dax tags in, but Caster dodges him! Dax hits buckles, FTR sputters as they pursue, but Caster hot tags Bowens! Bowens rallies on FTR! LARIAT for Dax! HAYAMKER for Cash! CHOP for Dax! ROLLING ELBOW for Cash! Dax whips, Bowens reverses to CHOP, KNEE, CLUB and SWEEP, then SHINING WIZARD! Cover, TWO! Dax survives Rock Paper Scissors 2.0, but the fans still rally and duel. Bowens waits on Dax, then he gives him a kick, KICK and FAMOUS- NO, Dax slips under!

Dax waistlocks, Bowens switches, spins, but Dax gets aroudn again! GERMAN SUPLEX! Dax holds on, to GERMAN SUPLEX again! And GERMAN SUPLEX again! Dax holds on, Bowens switches, but Cash saves Dax! Dax elbows free, tags Cash, and FTR double whip. Bowens ducks the double lariats, Caster trips Dax and Bowens rolls Cash! TWO!! Cash escapes but Bowens avoids a lariat! Cash wheelbarrows to victory roll, TWO! Cash headlocks, Bowens powers up and Caster tags in as Bowens powers out! Cash still CLOBBERS Caster first! But Bowens waistlocks Cash, only for Cash to elbow free! Bowens bails out, Cash isn’t sure where Dax went!

Cash calls for Dax, Dax rises, and FTR regroups in the ring. Dax reels Caster in, Cash goes up, but Caster fights the lift! Caster back drops Dax away, Cash still leaps, into a BODY BLOW! Caster pushes Dax out, he goes for Cash. Cash RAMS into Caster, then climbs up! But Caster throat chops! Caster climbs, the fans fire up, and Caster SUPERPLEXES! Roll through, and Bowens goes up! CROSSBODY SUPLEX COMBO!! Cover, TWO!! Cash survives and Acclaimed can’t believe it! The fans continue to duel, but then they all cheer “A E DUB! A E DUB!” for making this match. Caster drags Cash over, tags in Bowens, and Bowens stomps Cash.

Bowens hauls Cash up, tags Caster back in, “This is Awesome!” as Acclaimed DOUBLE SUPLEX, only for Dax to make the save! Dax dodges Acclaimed, shoves Bowens into Caster, and then he waistlocks Caster! Caster switches, but Cash sunset flips Caster! TWO!! Caster escapes, BOOTS Cash, then CHOPS him! Cash DISCUS LARIATS in return! Both men are down and the fans are thunderous! Bowens runs in, Cash dodges to then catch Bowens for a POWERSLAM! Cash runs up, Caster BOOTS him! Caster goes up a corner, but Cash Electric Chair Lifts! Dax sneaks the tag, STEINER BULLDOG!! Cover, TWO?!?

Dax sighs, but Caster is just that tough! Caster is a bit dazed, though, as Collision goes picture in picture.

Billy Gunn coaches Caster, but Dax tells Daddy Ass to cool it. Dax paces while Caster crawls, and Dax drags him up. Dax puts Caster in a corner to CHOP, and Caster drops to his knees. Dax stomps Caster’s hand, CHOPS him, but Caster kicks and CHOPS, CHOPS, CHOPS! Dax CHOPS Caster off his feet! Dax drags Caster up, whips, but Caster reverses. Caster then duck Dax to then lift and HOTSHOT! Caster catches Dax with that one, then tags in Bowens. Bowens drops an AX HANDLE on Dax! Bowens then stomps Dax around, and CHOKES him on ropes! The ref counts, Bowens lets off, and Bowens apologizes. Billy so wants to, but he holds back.

Bowens stands Dax up to kick, CLUB and CLUB again! Bowens HAMMERS away on Dax, then CLUBS him down! The fans fire up with Bowens and he drags Dax into a chinlock. Dax endures, even as Bowens grinds him down. Dax reaches out, fights up, and rises as Collision returns to single picture. Dax throws body shots, but Bowens holds onto the clinch. Dax CHOPS, whips, and then has a SLEEPER on Bowens! Bowens hits a BIG back suplex! Both men are down, the fans rally up again, and their teammates call out. Bowens rises first, and he ROCKS Dax! Dax ROCKS Bowens! They rise, Bowens ROCKS Dax! Dax ROCKS Bowens!

The shots go back and forth, heavier and heavier! Dax CHOPS, but Bowens CHOPS back! Bowens and Dax each duck a shot, Dax feints to DDT! Both men are down again and the fans fire up! A standing count starts and both Cash and Caster rally the fans. Bowens and Dax crawl, hot tags to Caster and Cash! The fans fire up as Cash rallies on Acclaimed! JAB, JAB and HAYMAKER for Caster! DROPKICK for Bowens! Cash eggs them on. then ducks ‘n’ dodges Caster to LARIAT! The fans fire up as Cash CHOPS Caster, UPPERCUTS him, then CHOPS! Cash whips, Caster reverses, but Cash slides to a stop! Cash UPPERCUTS Caster down!

The fans fire up again and Cash brings Caster around. Cash whips, Caster reverses to kick, whip and- NO, Cash turns back drop into Gory Especial! GORY BOMB! Cover, TWO!! The fans hope these teams “FIGHT FOREVER!” but someone has to head for All In! Cash drags Caster up, winds up, and he LARIATS Caster down! The fans are torn as Cash hauls Caster up, to LARIAT again! Caster flounders but Cash drags him up again. Cash reels Caster in, but Caster wrenches out to throat chop! And POWERBOMB! Jackknife bridge, but Cash rolls through to prawn hold! TWO!! Caster escapes and the fans fire up again!

The fans rally again as Cash tags Dax. Dax brings Caster up, Cash goes to a corner. Dax TOSSES Caster, then grabs Bowens! Dax reels Bowens in, hoists him up, but Caster SHOVES Cash to the floor! Bowens fights the driver, and Caster CROSSBODIES! Cover on Dax, TWO!! Caster SUPERKICKS! Bowens fires Rock Paper Scissors SUPERKICK! Caster reels Dax in, he and Bowens give him- NO, Cash TACKLES Bowens and Dax cradles Cater! TWO!! DOUBLE LARIATS take both men down! The fans are giving a standing ovation for this All In worthy match! The ref has a standing count, but Caster rises at 4 of 10.

Caster tags Bowens and he runs up, but Dax trips him up! Dax steps through, Bowens BOOTS Dax away! Dax hits buckles hard, stagger sup, and Bowens blocks the boot to CLUB, JAM and DRAGON SCREW that leg! Bowens steps through now, but Dax BOOTS Bowens! Both men run up, Dax tackles Bowens! SHARPSHOOTER!! Cash keeps Caster out of the ring as Bowens endures! Billy coaches Bowens to hang in there, and Caster kicks Cash away. Caster storms up on Dax, but Dax lets Bowens go to trip Caster! Dax steps through, SHARPSHOOTER for Caster! But Bowens FAMOUSERS! Cover, TWO?!?!?

No one can believe how close that was, but Dax survives! The fans duel as hard as they can, Billy coaches Caster, and a standing count starts. Bowens and Dax stir at 3 of 10, Bowens reaches for ropes, and slowly rises up. Bowens stands at 7, and he storms over to Dax. Bowens brings Dax up, but Dax blocks the suplex! Dax tries to suplex, and he manages to put Bowens on the top rope! Dax then CHOPS! And CHOPS! And we get a five minute warning! Dax CHOPS again, but Caster storms over from the outside! Cash is there to RAM Caster into railing! Bowens DECKS Dax, but Cash goes up! Cash trips Bowens onto his five tool player!

Caster and Cash brawl on the apron, Cash APRON DDTS!! Cash shouts to Dax to get up, and Dax climbs! Cash also climbs, SUPERPLEX for the Power! Cash DIVING SPLASHES for the Glory!! Cash then DIVES onto Caster to wipe him out! Dax covers, TWO?!?!? The fans are thunderous as this is still going! The fans cheer on “TAG TEAM WRESTLING!” as both Dax and Bowens sit up. They SLAP each other back and forth! Then they go forearm for forearm! Dax SLAPS Bowens, calls to Cash, and Cash just jumps in! SHATTER- NO, Caster CLOBBERS Cash! Bowens slips free, shoves Dax, and Caster whips Dax so they can STEAL SHATTER MACHINE!!! Cover, TWO?!?!?!?

The fans are losing their minds, but Caster and Bowens hurry! THE ARRIVAL, and then the MIC DROP!! Cover, Caster holds Cash, but Cash BARRELS through to break it all up!!! The standing ovation returns but time is running out! “This is Awesome!” as the teams regroup. FTR fire forearms, but The Acclaimed give them back! FTR fire more forearms, so Acclaimed fire back! FTR CHOP, Acclaimed forearm back! The shots keep going, fire at will! They all stand, they all fire hands, but Cash DUMPS Caster! Bowens runs, but into SHATTER MACHINE!!! Cover, CASTER BREAKS IT!!! The fans are electric while Cash is in disbelief!

ONE MINUTE WARNING! Billy tells his guys to get going, Bowens tags Caster! Caster has Dax to roll him, TOW!! Dax escapes, but Caster scoops! Dax cradle counters, TWO!! Caster escapes, kicks, but Dax fires hands! Caster and Dax throw hands, DOUBLE DECK! Cash CLOBBERS Bowens off the apron!! All four men are down around ringside, but Dax finds Caster! Dax brings Caster up, but Caster powers up and out, only to RAM heads!! Dax falls on the cover, Billy shouts, TWO!! AND TIME’S UP?!?!

Time Limit Draw

Fans immediately chant “FIVE MORE MINUTES!” and Billy also asks for a decision! Someone has to challenge The Bucks, right? Billy says hold on, hold on! No fighting without a bell! The fans chant “OVERTIME!” but then Dax PUNCHES Billy!! So Billy fires hands back! The fans go nuts as we get a 3v2 brawl! Here comes security to stop this, but Tony Schiavone is reporting in for Tony Khan! TK says that because this is a draw, it will be a TRIPLE THREAT!! Acclaimed, FTR and The Young Bucks are going All In, but who comes away THE AEW World Tag Team Championships? Someone tell these guys, because they’re still fighting!!!

My Thoughts:

A great Collision here, though rather packed to the gills with content. Jack Perry of course squashes poor Orion, but why did they wait so long to get him a custom title? This practically gives away he’s winning at All In, because what’s the point of having a custom belt for just eight days? Britt Baker of course beats Harley Cameron to build momentum, and while I didn’t expect it, I should’ve known Mone & Kamille would show up. Kamille takes out Britt for Mone, and depending on what happens next week in Cardiff, this is surprising math putting the title match in Britt’s favor. Mone’s got two title defenses in the same week (TBS at All In, NJPW Strong at NJPW Capital Collision on Friday the 30th), I wouldn’t be surprised if she lost one of them.

Great stuff with Mariah and Toni tonight. Mariah of course wins her match, using Toni’s moves no less, but Toni’s short film was a brilliant twist on the “sad clown Pagliacci” anecdote. I’m still surprised there’s no stipulation on this match, but they’ll surely still get violent and bloody somehow, and all involving those white high heels. Really funny promo from Kris & Stokely to put a stipulation on their Mixed Tag, because now maybe it doesn’t make it harder to predict. All it’d take is cheating for Kris & Stoke to win, and then Kris can try and stack the deck on Willow going into All Out. And that’s just tradition, the Heel choosing a stipulation to put pressure on the Face.

Jericho has a good promo to call out Tommy Billington and Hook at the same time. I’m sure Tommy gives Jericho a great match but ends up losing, perhaps from cheating. That way, Jericho has momentum, meaning he loses to Hook at All In. If Hook’s leaving the “Jericho Vortex,” he’s bringing that belt with him. And very good promo from Eddie Kingston. I admit, I did expect a medical update or something positive like that, but Eddie’s always been very much himself rather than a character, so he was honest about needing more time. And I like that he is motivating Bryan through talking down to him. That doesn’t necessarily mean Bryan wins, and it doesn’t necessarily means he loses, it’s just good character stuff to show that’s the kind of tough love and respect Eddie shows people.

Great tag team match for the ROH titles, but I did not think Dustin & Sammy were winning. I do appreciate they overbooked it to the highest degree, and referenced the story that’s been building on ROH, and with Mortos still hanging out with The Undisputed Kingdom, clearly we’re getting big 8 Man Tag stuff between them, “Team Texas” and maybe even The Conglomeration. That’s almost as big as Daniels giving us a TRIOS FATAL 4 ladder match! There are a lot of great trios building back up, like Top Flight, Shane Taylor Promotions, The Dark Order, and we might even get Scorpio & Private Party after what we saw on Rampage. With something as wild as a 12 person ladder match, it could go any which way, protecting The Patriarchy big time if they lose.

Hologram VS Angelico was great stuff, and Hologram continues to use moves that no one has ever thought of, making it hard for me to keep up, but a lot of fun all the same. Great win for Hologram, too, I can’t wait to see if he gets a title opportunity after All Out going towards WrestleDream or Full Gear. Claudio VS Lio was also a great match, which I don’t recall ever seeing before, even when both guys were in WWE. Lio looked great but naturally, Claudio was winning. He has momentum going into his match with Okada, which he probably isn’t winning, but you never know.

And then, after a great rap from Caster, we got an awesome tag team main event. As I said, we should’ve just gotten this match before. But as it turns out, there was no interference from The Bucks, they just let this go the final half hour of the show and have a time limit draw. Making a Triple Threat was definitely the right move, it protects all teams no matter the result. And then, if new champs are crowned, the Bucks can just demand a rematch for All Out, for yet another epic tag match.
