The Patriarchy is here!

Christian Cage wears all three AEW World Trios Championship belts as he leads Mother Shayna, “Prodigy” Nick Wayne & Killswitch/Luchasaurus out to the ring. The Esports Stadium crowd is torn, but Christian holds up all the belts as he circles around the ring. Then Christian tells them to sit down and shut their mouths while he conducts business. “Now, Arlington, I’m gonna keep this short and sweet, for the simple reason that I hate it here and I have a private plane waiting to get me outta this hellhole.

“Now, a couple short weeks ago, in this very ring, in this very arena, The Patriarchy did exactly what I said we would do, when we walked into this ring and we walked out the brand new Trios Champions. I told you on my road back to becoming the World Heavyweight Champion, I was going to use the Trios Champions as a vehicle, and I would use them as a gift for my family for showing their support to me over the past year. Now you losers might look at these objects around my waist and over my shoulder and think of them as, ‘Hey, that’s a pretty nice belt,’ or, ‘Those are nice belts that you have.’

“A belt holds up your pants. Or in my case, a belt is used to discipline a naughty child. What you’re looking at over my shoulder is a title. And until you realize that, you do not deserve to call yourself a champion! And I’m proud to say that my family has realized what these championship titles really mean. In the spirit of my family growing with me, I’m going to do what I promised to do. I am going to present The Patriarchy with their championship titles.” The fans boo but Christian first goes to “son” Nick Wayne, “the apple of my eye, my boy.” Christian is so proud of Nick. The leaps and bounds he has grown since he’s been with Christian, Christian can’t even comprehend it.

Nick is so special! Nick is what Christian said he was: a prodigy. Such a prodigy, that Nick Wayne has now become the youngest champion in the history of AEW! Stand up and take notice of Christian’s son! The fans boo instead. Other than himself, Christian can’t think of anyone who deserves this more than Nick. He is honored to present Nick with his championship title. One belt is given over and Nick holds it on his shoulder. Then “father and son” hug while fans duel, “You Deserve It!” “No He Don’t!”

Then to Killswitchasaurus, Christian says he is what he was asked to be: The Finisher! The muscle! The man that does all the dirty work when needed! Christian wants him to know how much Christian appreciates him. The Patriarchy doesn’t work without Killswitch! Christian wanted to acknowledge Killswitch and how much he means to Christian. They hug, the fans cheer, and with that said, Christian says Luchasaurus did not give birth to a Prodigy. Mother Wayne gets the belt!? She gave birth to the next best wrestler on the planet, so there is no one more deserving other than her!

The fans boo but Christian says this is a warning to any trio that- Killswitch turns Christian around! But wait! The House of Black is here! The fans bark it up for Brody King & Malakai Black as they head to the ring. Malakai already has a mic, but Christian says, “Well, well, well. The House of Black, huh?” Malakai & “Jelly Roll.” He knows they’re here to stake claim as contenders to these titles, but Christian told them before, they’re not a trio anymore. There is only two of them, and after what happened to Buddy Matthews, they won’t be a trio for a long, long time. Therefore, that distinction is null and void.

So surely, they didn’t come out here to challenge for titles. Christian thinks they see him and realized that everything he touches turns to gold. He heard the hype train of Malakai Black all these years, and he hasn’t lived up to it. That’s on Malakai, so he is here for advice. Not just any advice, but some fatherly advice. So that advice is, they saw The Patriarchy walk through The Bang Bang Gang like a hot knife through butter. If The Patriarchy can do that to those guys, then imagine what they can do to The House of Black. What were they even thinking? Three against two, what were they thinking?!

Malakai says, “Yes, well…” And then the lights go out! When the lights come up, BUDDY IS BACK! Christian bails out, he gets his guys out of there, and the fans fire up! The House has sent The Patriarchy running because they’re now 100%! And wait! Here comes The Bang Bang Gang! Juice Robinson & The Gunns keep The Patriarchy from getting up the ramp. The Patriarchy jumps into the crowd to run away! But KIP SABIAN tosses Nick back! Superbad smirks as The Prodigy is all on his own against six! Juice throws Nick in for The House! The fans tell Nick he done messed up! ROUNDHOUSE from Malakai! POP-UP KNEE from Buddy!

Brody runs in to SPLASH in the corner! Nick sits down, the fans bark with Brody, and Christian can only watch as CERBERUS STRIKES! Fans want that “One More Time!” but then The House and the Bang Bang Gang all grab at Nick’s belt. Will all three trios be going All In for the World Trios Championships?

Backstage interview with Dustin Rhodes & The Von Erichs.

Lexy Nair is with the NEW ROH World Six Man Tag Team Champions, and says what an emotional week it has been. Tell her how it feels to have these titles? Dustin says she just said it, it has been an emotional week. An emotional couple of weeks, really. He’s 55 years old, and to step in the ring one more time, with a family that he has watched since he was a child, and these new, young Von Erichs, Marshall & Ross, under the tutelage of their father, Kevin Von Erich, MY GAWD. The stars have aligned! The Rhodes, The Von Erichs, and they took it to ’em! They have more heart, and this is Texas’ best right here as THE ROH World Six Man Champs!

Marshall says that’s right. 12 years in the business, the fans don’t see the gut wrenching prayers and heartache, the peaks and valleys. But for it all to pay off like this, with their “brother,” Dustin, and their father. It was the greatest night of their career. Ross says it is official. This Von Erich/Rhodes Era has official begun. And then in steps Sammy Guevara. Sammy knows he and Dustin have a long history, and Dustin may not trust Sammy… Dustin has Sammy hold on. Dustin knows that Sammy knows that trust is earned. Sammy says he’ll earn it. For a long time, Sammy’s been stuck in a certain vortex, and now he’s out.

For the first time in five years, Sammy is his own man, making his own decisions. And what Sammy wants is to earn Dustin’s trust, and to team with him in ROH. And the same goes for the Von Erichs. Right here are four Texas legends. This is history in the making! Sammy wants to team with them, earn their trust, and even take this to AEW. What do they say? Sammy offers a handshake, and Dustin takes it. Could this be the Von Erich/Rhodes/Guevara era in the making?

Holo.grm & Mistico VS The Premier Athletes w/ Mark Sterling!

Speaking of that vortex, it would seem The Learning Tree had to go and call out the NWA World Historic Welterweight Champion by showing up in CMLL’s Arena Mexico! Are Hologram & Mistico about to be dragged into Chris Jericho’s drama? Or can they at least focus on Tony Nese & Ariya Daivari first?

“Smart” Mark Sterling of course interrupts Arkady Aura’s ring announcing to say he’ll take it from here. Everyone knows The Premier Athletes, Nese & Daivari. Now, their opponents don’t even belong in the same league, or even the same sport! Those guys should be in Paris working on floor routines and balance beams losing to superior athletes over there. However, the result will be the same here tonight. The only difference is that they will be losing to superior athletes here in Texas, in front of a bunch of fat people! The fans boo but will the luchadores make Nese & Daivari eat Sterling’s words?

The teams sort out and Hologram starts against Daivari. The bell rings, the fans rally up, and the two circle. Daivari and Hologram tie up, Daivari wrenches, but the fans rally for Hologram. Daivari wristlocks, but Hologram rolls, handsprings and kicks free to wrench and spin and trip Daivari! The fans cheer, Hologram gets moving, but Daivari hurdles. Hologram ducks ‘n’ dodges to RANA! The fans fire up and then Hologram DROPKICKS! Hologram kips up, wrenches Daivari and wristlocks. Daivari pulls the mask! The fans boo but Nese tags in. The Premier Athletes mug Hologram in the corner!

The ref counts, the fans boo, but Nese & Daivari let off. Sterling says these are real athletes here. Nese reels Hologram in, but Hologram lands out of the back suplex to hot tag Mistico! Mistico springboards to CROSSOBDY Nese! Then he DECKS Daivari! Mistico whips, Nese reverses but gets around the handspring! Mistico dodges Nese, runs back in, but Nese tosses Mistico! Hologram is there for some SILLY STRING! Daivari runs up, Mistico blocks to knuckle lock, KICK, and go up, and up, and FLYING RANA ARM-DRAG COMBO! The fans fire up, Hologram gets in to give Mistico a boost, DOUBLE DROPKICK!

The Premier Athletes bail out, the fans fire up, and the luchadores build speed! But they fake Nese & Daivari out to roll back and superhero pose! Sterling is mad but the fans love it! They rally for “LUCHA! LUCHA!” and The Premier Athletes regroup. Nese storms up to the ring, Collision goes picture in picture.

Mistico feeds off the energy of the fans while he circles with Nese. But Daivari & Sterling distract him, and Nese CLOBBERS Mistico from behind! Nese stomps away, tags Daivari, and then drags Mistico up. The Premier Athletes mug Mistico, then Daivari whips Mistico for a BIG ELBOW! Cover, TWO! Daivari drags Mistico up, bumps him off buckles, and pushes him down to CHOKE on ropes! The ref counts, Daivari lets off, but now Sterling CHOKES Mistico! Daivari tags Nese in, they mug Mistico, and then Nese CHOKES Mistico! Nese lets off, but Sterling CHOKES Mistico again! The Premier Athletes keep getting away with stuff! Nese covers, TWO!

Nese pushes Mistico around and clamps on a chinlock. Mistico endures, the fans rally up, and Mistico rises up. Mistico fires body shots, but Nese throws him down by the mask! The ref reprimands but Nese soaks up the heat. Nese then stomps Mistico to keep him from Hologram. Nese drags Mistico around, Collision returns to single picture, and Nese CLUBS away with crossface forearms! Nese clamps on a chinlock to grind Mistico down. Mistico fights up, the fans rally, but Nese fires a knee! Then Nese DECKS Hologram because he can! Tag to Daivari, and the Premier Athletes double whip. Mistico handsprings to DOUBLE BACK ELBOW!

The fans fire up and Mistico stands. He dodges the Premier Athletes, sense Nese into Daivari, then ducks ‘n’ dodges to RANA! Nese tumbles out, Mistico CHOPS Daivari! Mistico goes up and up and FLYING ARM-DRAGS again! Daivari tumbles, the fans fire up, and Mistico crawls for his corner! The fans are thunderous for Hologram, hot tag to the man! Hologram jumps in, SOBATS, KICKS, and HEEL KICKS Daivari! Nese runs up, Hologram wrenches him, and he kicks off Daivari. Shiranui doesn’t quite work out but Hologram shoves Nese into Daivari! Hologram then runs up, uses Nese as a boost to get on Daivari’s shoulders!

Hologram then drops back to FLYING ARM-DRAG Nese!! The fans are thunderous as Hologram wrenches, hammerlocks, and lifts Daivari, for a SWINGING FACEBUSTER! Cover, TWO!! Daivari survives but Hologram refocuses. Hologram KICKS, KICKS, then reels Daivari in. Daivari fights back with a headlock, and Nese tags in as Hologram powers out. Nese spins Hologram around but Hologram ROUNDHOUSES! Hologram whips, Nese slides to pump handle and PREMIER PILEDRIVER! Cover, Mistico breaks it! The fans fire up, but Daivari whips Mistico out! Daivari hurries to his corner, Nese tags him in.

Nese & Daivari drag Hologram up to whip, but he KICKS them each! Hologram sweeps Daivari’s leg, stomps a foot, then reels Daivari in. The fans fire up but Sterling gets up! Hologram runs Sterling off but that lets Daivari CLUB Hologram! Daivari whips, Hologram reverses and Daivari tumbles out! Hologram DIVES onto Sterling! Hologram gets back in the ring, the fans are thunderous, and Hologram builds sped, only for Nese to SUPERKICK! Mistico springboards in to MISSILE DROPKICK Nese! The Premier Athletes regroup, Mistico runs and Hologram gives him a boost, TORNILLO PLANCHA!

The Premier Athletes are down, but Hologram goes up! Tightrope walk, CANNONBALL into everyone!! The fans are thunderous and Hologram puts Daivari in! Hologram goes up, the fans love “A E DUBQ!” for making this the opening match! 450 SPLASH! Cover, the luchadores win!

Winners: Holo.grm & Mistico, by pinfall

The cyber star and the champion stand tall! Will this momentum help Mistico take the fight to Jericho? Will Hologram be projected for a title opportunity?

Mariah May is here!

The Glamour, The Queen of Harts, is joining commentary so she can carefully watch this match. And also, she asks Tony Schiavone if she should, “say something, b*tch.” She throws his words back at him from a few weeks ago, and Schiavone apologizes for that comment. Nigel is sure enjoying this.

Toni Storm VS ???

The Leading Lady is more than ready to go All In with Mariah May, and uh, she heads right for her on commentary! Toni and Mariah are brawling! Mariah hits Storm low, then CLUBS her with the SHOOOE~! Christopher Daniels rushes in to stop this, he is removing Mariah from commentary. He warns her, she will lose her All In match if she keeps instigating things. Mariah says fine, but then Storm FLIES OFF THE STAGE!! The AEW Women’s World Champion just wiped out her challenger and The Fallen Angel! The brawl continues and the fans are loving it! Storm drags Mariah towards ringside!

Security rushes out here, the fans boo, they want to “LET THEM FIGHT! LET THEM FIGHT!” The two hellcats are separated, but then Storm’s opponent comes after her! The fans boo and Mariah smiles because now Rache Chanel is gonna do her dirty work! Chanel whips Storm hard into steel steps! Then she pushes Storm in the ring, and the bell rings. The “Fashionista” BOOTS Storm down! Chanel says she’s gonna be champ herself! Chanel whips, Storm gets around, and GERMAN SUPLEXES! Chanel flounders to a corner, and now Mariah scowls as Storm runs up, SWEET HIP MUSIC! Storm drags Chanel out while staring Mariah down.

Chanel ROCKS Storm with a forearm! Storm just grins! Chanel spins, into a wrench and kick! Then STORM ZERO!! Cover, Storm wins!

Winner: Toni Storm, by pinfall

And Storm storms right to the apron! The security stays in her way, but this war at Wembley is going to happen! Will Mariah survive the fury she has unleashed within Storm?

Kyle Fletcher speaks.

“I first met Will Ospreay when I was 18 years old. Of course at first I was intimidated by Will, he was this big star, I was this skinny kid from Australia. I don’t know why he took me under his wing, but I am a better wrestler, probably a better man, because of it.” MJF’s cowardly attack on Ospreay angered Kyle. For all the things Ospreay has done for Kyle, Kyle promises to have his back until the day he dies. The Aussie Arrow is after MJF this Wednesday, but will he even make it past The Machine here tonight?

MJF visited Arena Mexico.

It was last night that Maxwell Jacob Friedman begrudgingly went down to Arena Mexico to defend his “great nation’s honor” against Templario. MJF got the tour, he waved the American flag, and questioned the legacy of Arena Mexico the entire time. But the AEW American Champion showed off “a superior culture and a superior athlete.” The so-called American Hero at least kept the belt, so will he be more than warmed up for Dynamite this Wednesday?

Kyle Fletcher w/ Don Callis VS Brian Cage!

The Aussie Arrow didn’t like The Machine mouthing off to him after squashing some rando on Rampage. Will Kyle come out of Collision in one piece? Or will we still have no answer to the question, “Who betta than The Machine?”

The bell rings and the fans rally for Kyle. Kyle and Cage tie up, and Cage digs in his heels as Kyle tries to push him back. Cage then powers Kyle to a corner. They go around, Cage RAMS into Kyle, but Kyle avoids the chop! Kyle CHOPS back, but Cage flexes. Kyle kicks low! Kyle headlocks, Cage powers up and out, then drops down to ELBOW Kyle! Kyle staggers up, Cage runs up, but Kyle throws him out! Kyle then CALF KICKS Cage off the apron! The fans fire up with Kyle and he builds speed. Kyle DIVES, and down goes Cage! The fans fire up more and Kyle brings Cage up. But Cage RAMS Kyle into the apron!

Cage sends Kyle into steel steps, then refreshes the ring count. Cage drags Kyle up and to the ramp. The fans boo but Cage suplexes, only for Kyle to slip free! SUPERKICK! Kyle then goes up the ramp, runs back down, and uses that momentum to CANNONBALL! Direct hit and the fans fire up while Collision goes picture in picture.

Kyle brings Cage up and over to put him in the ring. Kyle steps in, but Cage BOOTS him! And GERMAN SUPLEXES! Kyle flounders, Cage fireman’s carries, DEATH VALLEY DRIVER! Kyle writhes while clutching his neck! Cage smirks and paces before he drags Kyle up. Cage waistlocks to GERMAN SUPLEX again! Kyle flops around, Cage storms over, and Cage stands on Kyle’s head! The ref counts, Cage hauls Kyle up and bumps him off buckles. Cage CHOPS and Kyle sits down. Cage digs his boots into Kyle’s face, but he lets off as the ref counts. Cage stalks Kyle, taunts the fans, but Kyle fires body shots as Collision goes to break.

Collision returns and Kyle has Cage up top! But Cage fires body shots, then HEADBUTTS Kyle! Cage scoops Kyle for a SUPER SPINNING POWERSLAM!! Cover, TWO!! Kyle survives and the fans are thunderous! Cage says time to end it! He drags Kyle up, reels him in, but Kyle cradle counters! TWO!! Cage escapes, but Kyle ROCKS him! Cage SUPERKICKS back! Kyle ROLLING ELBOWS! Cage roars, so Kyle SUPERKICKS! Kyle runs, ducks the lariat, then the southpaw, to hammerlock, gut wrench, and TOMBSTONE!! Cover, KYLE WINS!

Winner: Kyle Fletcher, by pinfall

AUSSIE, AUSSIE, AUSSIE! Don Callis is proud of his Protostar for making it past The Machine, and Kyle gets a mic. Kyle wants to talk to one person and one person only: M J F. Kyle knows that MJF is sitting at home, no friends, no family, because we all know that MJF is the most selfish son of a B ever. Kyle hopes MJF is quaking in his boots, feeling a tingle in his tongue, because Kyle just dropped a 300 pound monster on his neck! And MJF knows if he takes that this Wednesday, maybe MJF doesn’t go to Wembley. And the idea of that fills Kyle will so much joy! He has an idea! If MJF is the “American Hero” he says he is, then he’ll put his American title on the line!

The fans like the sound of that! And then Kyle thinks HE goes to All In to face his best friend, Will Ospreay. How’s that, Max? Will he accept? Or is he a coward like we all know he is? But then MJF calls to “Koyle” from the tron! MJF says Kyle sounds like a moron. MJF sounds ilke a perfect American. Kyle is the typical foreigner, stealing things away from hard working Americans! There is a list of guys in front of Kyle that deserve a shot at the most coveted title in all of professional wrestling. Not everyone gets to be famous by riding Will Ospreay’s coattails. Some people become famous by beating Ospreay without breaking a sweat and getting an easy win.

Not that MJF expects that from “Koyle,” because he isn’t an American Hero like MJF. But MJF isn’t just a hero, he isn’t just humble, he isn’t just handsome, he is also selfless. So he will give “Koyle Fletcha” the opportunity of a lifetime. He will get an eliminator match. If Kyle can pin or submit MJF in North Carolina, in front of all the White hick trailer park trash, MJF will give Kyle a shot at the title the very next week. But that won’t happen. MJF will tell you what happens. Unlike Kyle, MJF is not some Australian barbarian, he is a professional wrassler, an American Hero, and he will teach Kyle what real wrasslin’ is all about!

And for that lesson, you can thank MJF later. The stakes have been raised, and that’s good enough for Kyle. Will the Aussie Arrow hit the mark and earn his shot at the title? Or will the Wolf of Wrestling snake his way right through Carolina?

Bryan Danielson speaks.

“I learned a long time ago that pain is just perception. When I’m hurting, I’ve got the biggest match of my career, it’s serving me well right now. A lot of people think that they know what 100% is. 100% is where 101% is not possible. I’m training for this at 100%.” Wheeler Yuta says people forget Bryan is an animal, a killer. The switch is flipped, this is the most focused, driven and violent Bryan has been in a long time. Bryan is pushing Yuta, too. Go for the neck, because Swerve Strickland, the most dangerous man in AEW, will of course go after it.

Bryan and Yuta are friends and see what they’re doing to each other. Swerve is Bryan’s opponent, Bryan is putting his life and his career on the line, so just imagine what Bryan will do. Bryan is ready for Swerve, Swerve is not ready for the American Dragon.

Backstage interview with Team Triple J.

Renee Paquette is with Jeff Jarrett, Karen Jarrett, Jay Lethal & Sonjay Dutt. Double J is facing Bryan Danielson this Wednesday, and Renee did not expect it to get to this. Karen wants Jeff to reconsider but Jeff says no. Lethal says if not for Hangman Page, Jarrett would be fighting for the world championship at AEW Grand Slam. Sonjay says if not for Hangman, Jarrett would be King of Harts and going to All In. Karen says the problem here is that insane buckaroo wannabe cowboy! Jeff has everyone calm down. He didn’t get what he wanted, but neither did Hangman. The difference is, Jeff makes the most of his situation.

So to Bryan Danielson, Jeff couldn’t be more thrilled than to be part of getting Bryan ready for All In. But Bryan needs to be more than ready! He needs to be ready for Swerve! They all know Swerve is the most dangerous man in AEW. So Bryan better be ready for anything. This Wednesday, Winston-Salem, let us take it back to where Jeff broke in. Memphis, Tennessee was doing hardcore wrestling even before it was called “hardcore!” That’s right! No time limits, no disqualifications, ANYTHING GOES! That is to say, there are no rules this Wednesday!

Jeff says he respects Bryan as a wrestler, and damn sure respects him as a man. But as the old song goes, “Now you’re on the fighting side of me.” This Wednesday, Jeff introduces Bryan to The Last Outlaw. Will this go from a tune-up to a Smash Hit on Dynamite?

AEW Continental Championship #1 Contender’s Triple Threat: Lee Moriarty w/ Shane Taylor VS Claudio Castagnoli VS Tomohiro Ishii!

Speaking of title matches, The Rainmaker awaits the winner of this star-studded Triple Threat. Will it be #TAIGASTYLE looking to add another belt to the ROH Pure Championship? Will it be the Swiss Superman looking to get back to some gold? Or will it be the Stone Pitbull who knows Kazuchika Okada very, very well?

The bell rings and the three feel things out. The fans rally up, and then Lee kicks Ishii! Lee kicks again but Claudio blocks it. Ishii CHOPS Claudio, but then Lee blocks! Claudio ROCKS Ishii, Lee fires forearms on them both. Ishii ROCKS Lee, Claudio DECKS Lee! Claudio and Ishii start trading shots now! Lee BOOTS Claudio, kicks Ishii, CLUBS Ishii then ROCKS Claudio! Lee talks smack then runs, into DOUBLE SHOULDERS! The fans fire up while Claudio and Ishii shove each other. Ishii fires shots, runs, and RAMS Claudio! Ishii staggers back! They RAM again and again, and Claudio winds up.

Ishii dodges, runs and RAMS Claudio! They both roar! Lee DOUBLE SHOTGUNS them down! The fans fire up with Lee and he drags Ishii up. Lee Mongolian Chops, ROCKS Ishii, then chicken wings. Ishii fights the crossface so Lee cravats. Claudio storms in and CLUBS Lee. Claudio hits as BIG back suplex on Lee, then a BIG back suplex on Ishii! The fans fire up more as Claudio goes to Lee in the corner. Claudio CHOPS Lee, stomps away on Lee, then lets off. Claudio stands Lee up but Lee gets around to drag Claudio down, REAR NAKED CHOKE! Claudio fights the grip, so Lee GEDO CLUTCHES! TWO, and Lee taunts Claudio!

Claudio runs up, Lee dodges and DROPKICKS! Claudio tumbles out to join Ishii, and Lee builds speed! Lee DIVES and he takes out both men! The fans fire up with Lee and Collision goes picture in picture.

Lee drags Claudio up while Shane talks him up. Lee winds up, to ROCK Claudio! Claudio shakes it off with a shoulder shimmy, then he DECKS Lee! Ishii is up to CHOP Claudio! And CHOP again! Claudio CHOPS back! And CHOPS again! And CHOPS again! Ishii staggers, Claudio goes back for Lee. Lee throat chops! And BOOTS! Lee KNEES Ishii, too. Lee ROCKS Ishii, Claudio UPPERCUTS Lee! Claudio puts Lee in the ring, Ishii hurries in, and Ishii stomps Lee. Ishii stands Lee up to CHOP! Claudio CHOSP Ishii! Ishii CHOPS Lee! Claudio CHOPS Lee! Lee CHOPS Claudio, Ishii CHOPS Lee, Claudio CHOPS Ishii, repeat!

The CHOPS go around in a circle, but then Claudio and Ishii CHOP Lee! Lee fires back on them! The CHOPS just keep going around, then Lee throws forearms! Claudio CHOPS Lee, then CHOPS Ishii! Lee staggers back over, Claudio CHOPS him again! Lee grits his teeth to stay up, but Ishii CHOSP! Lee leans way back, but he stays up! Claudio CHIOSP, Lee almost has to bridge back! Then he blocks Ishii’s chop to CHOP them both back and forth! Claudio blocks a chop, Ishii CHOPS Lee!

The CHOPS keeps going, and Ishii trades CHOPS with Claudio. Lee comes back to CHOP each of them. The CHOPS go around in a circle again, but then Ishii and Claudio CHOP away on Lee. Claudio kicks Ishii, then Claudio CHOPS Ishii, CHOPS Lee, repeat! Collision returns to single picture as Claudio fires more CHOPS! Everyone roars, Ishii & Lee DOUBLE CHOP Claudio! Then Lee SAIDOS Ishii! Ishii’s right up!? And he CLOBBERS Lee! Claudio GERMAN SUPLEXES Ishii, Ishii’s right up to GERMAN SUPLEX Claudio! Lee GERMAN SUPLEXES Ishii! Claudio BOOTS Lee! Ishii ROCKS Claudio! Lee ROCKS Ishi!

Ishii ROCKS Lee, Claudio DOUBLE LARIATS them down! The fans fire up as all three men crawl, “This is Awesome!” as they each take a corner. Lee drops out of the ring, so Claudio and Ishii run at each other! DOUBLE LARIATS collide, but neither falls! So Claudio UPPERCUTS! Claudio runs, Ishii SWATS the lariat, HEADBUTTS and LARIATS Claudio! Lee TOSSES Ishii to cover Claudio, TWO!! Ishii is back up, Lee BOOTS him down! Claudio trips Lee! GIANT SWING! Lee wants a timeout but nope, we go all the way to TEN, then past that to go to FIFTEEN! The fans are thunderous as Claudio stays up!

Claudio runs, but Ishii trips him! Ishii drags Claudio out, hurries in, and SLIDING- NO, Lee catches Ishii to a ghost pin! TWO!! Lee runs up to BOOT! Lee then keeps moving, but Ishii LARIATS! Cover, Claudio breaks it! The fans fire up, and Lee flops out of the ring. Ishii and Claudio trade forearms, then Claudio UPPERCUTS! Ishii roars to fire boxing elbows! Claudio roars to UPPERCUT again and again! Ishii ENZIGIRIS! Lee rolls Claudio up! TWO!! Ishii runs in, Lee rolls him up! TWO, but into the BORDER CITY STRETCH!! Ishii endures, fights around, and rolls Lee up! TWO!! Lee goes to a corner, and he BOOTS back!

Claudio runs up, Ishii dodges, Claudio UPPERCUTS Lee! Claudio rushes Ishii but Ishii spins him around to suplex. Claudio fights that, Lee runs up, sunset flip causes Claudio to suplex Ishii away! Cover, TWO! Claudio drags Lee right up and in, NEUTRALIZER! Cover, Ishii breaks it!! The fans are thunderous as Ishii TOSSES Claudio out. Ishii drags Lee up and runs, SLIDING LARIAT!! Cover, but Claudio drags Ishii out! Claudio drags Lee up to SLIDING UPPERCUT! Cover, CLAUDIO WINS!

Winner: Claudio Castagnoli, by pinfall (NEW #1 Contender to the AEW Continental Championship)

The Swiss Superman snatched this one away, and now he takes on The Elite’s Rainmaker for the gold! But will Okada choose to go All In with Claudio? Or will he handle his business before the big night?

Backstage interview with Top Flight.

Lexy Nair is with Darius & Dante Martin, as well as Leila Grey, and notes that last Thursday night on ROH, we saw the debut of the “Top Flight Attendant.” Walk us through how this came to be. Leila says when Top Flight rang her call button, she stepped up. And together, they are taking off, straight to the top. A new look, but the goal is still the same. But then, “Hmmm…?” In steps The MXM Collection! Mansoor & Mason figure out what “TSA” stands for. And what is that? “Their Style is Ass!” MXM laugh it up. Look at Leila with her garish colors and that tiny tie. Is that a tie for ants?

But if Top Flight likes to fly, MXM just flew in from Milan. Do they know where that is? Oh, of course they don’t. They probably think it’s a cookie. Darius says MXM interrupting just put them on the No Fly List. And y’know what that means? It means they’re not fly! Well you know what this means? That this interview is over! Uh, this was Top Flight’s interview, not theirs. MXM still walks off, to POSE! Top Flight has no idea what to make of that, but will this make for a top tier tag team match?

Thunder Rosa VS Taya Valkyrie w/ Johnny TV!

La Mera Mera got screwed out of a Lumberjack match when La Wera Loca handed a turnbuckle bar to Deonna Purrazzo. But then Rosa made sure Taya couldn’t do the same to Willow Nightingale when Deonna was coming for the CMLL Women’s World Championship. Will Rosa wreck Taya for all her wicked ways? Or will Taya prove she’s AEW’s new “Main Character?”

The bell rings and Rosa goes right after Taya! Taya goes to ropes, Johnny protests, but Rosa runs Johnny off. Taya CLOBBERS Rosa, stomps her, then drags her up to bump off buckles. Taya stomps away on Rosa, digs her boots in, then lets off as the ref counts. Taya poses, goes back to Rosa and CHOKES her on ropes. The ref counts, Taya lets off, then she stands Rosa up to CHOP! Winner: Thunder Rosa, by submission

La Mera Mera gets the mic to say she ain’t wasting time! “Deonna Purrazzo, get your little ass over here!” The Virtuosa appears, and she tells Rosa, “What else could you possibly want from me? A congratulations, perhaps? Because you won your last two singles matches? Well, congratulations. Yuo’re on what we call, ‘a winning streak.’ Just like I was when I beat you three times in a row!” The fans boo but Rosa tells Deonna off in Spanish. And then she tells Deonna she can twist it all she wants, but she never truly beat Rosa. Oh, no? Hmm. Deonna is pretty sure the record books show that she’s won a singles match, in a No DQ, and a Lumberjack match.

Rosa says how about they go again in Arlington, in a TEXAS BULLROPE MATCH!? The fans like the sound of that! And boom, Tony Khan makes it official! Will Rosa use that rope to whip the ego out of Deonna?

8 Man Tag: Mark Briscoe, Darby Allin & FTR VS The Beast Mortos & The Undisputed Kingdom!

The Sussex County Chicken, The Relentless One, and the #TopGuys are raring for a fight. Stepping up to the plate is the monstrous minotaur, the Savior of the Backbreaker, and the ROH World Tag Team Champions, Matt Taven & Mike Bennett. This is quite the All-Star game, but who knocks one out of the park while the other side just gets knocked out?

Roddy whips corner to corner, but Tax blocks the hip toss to body shot and headlock.

Roddy powers up and out, but Dax RUNS him over! Things keep moving, Roddy hurdles, Dax drops down then arm-drags! The fans cheer as Dax has the armlock. Dax wrenches, tags Cash, and Cash goes up to AX HANDLE the arm. Cash wrenches to a hammerlock and he RAMS Roddy into buckles. Tag to Mark Briscoe, he CLUBS away on Roddy’s arm! Taven scrambles to his corner, wants a tag from Roddy, but Roddy hands that off to Mortos. The fans fire up as the beast is in! Mortos rushes Cash, Cash dodges to waistlock, but Mortos is too big to suplex. Cash headlocks, but Mortos lifts Cash! Cash kicks and flails, so Mortos lets him down to power up and out. Cash ducks ‘n’ dodges, but the LARIAT still finds him! Dax runs up, into a HEADBUTT! Darby runs up, into a FLAPJACK! Mark wants in but the ref says enough chaos! Mark has no choice but to back down while Mortos fires up!

The fans fire up with Mortos and he tags Roddy. Roddy runs up on Cash but Cash dodges to CHOP! Cash ducks, CHOPS, repeat! Cash fires hands, whips, and then back drops Roddy! Bennett runs in, but he takes a back drop! Roddy is back up, he knees Cash low, then whips him to the corner. Taven catches Cash but Cash BOOTS Roddy! Cash DECKS Taven, CLUBS Mortos, but Roddy KNEES Cash to OLYMPIC SLAM! Roddy WRECKS Cash with a dropkick and Cash tumbles outside. Roddy gets at Mark, the ref has to stop them, and that lets Mortos & The Kingdom stomp away on Cash!

The fans boo, the ref sees that but has to stop everyone from fighting all at once! The ref somehow maintains order while Collision goes picture in picture.

The teams all stand down, and Mortos puts Cash back in. Roddy drags Cash up to bump him off buckles. Roddy CHOPS Cash, tags Taven, and they mug Cash in the corner. Taven brings Cash around to COHP! Taven digs his boot into Cash’s face, the ref counts, and Taven lets off, only for Bennett & Roddy to CHOKE Cash! They let off before the ref notices, and Mortos tags in. Winners: Mark Briscoe, Darby Allin & FTR, by pinfall

Four Truly Relentless stars just won big on Collision, and Dax gets the mic. He’s said this more than he feels he needs to, but he LOVES pro-wrestling! On top of that, he LOVES AEW! This is the lifeblood of AEW right here! These four are the heart and soul of AEW! Wednesday, Saturday, Friday, or- THE ACCLAIMED is here! Caster did tell everyone they would… And Platinum says cut the music, no rap tonight. “The heart and soul of AEW? Really? Really? I don’t think so. If you really love AEW, let me ask: Where were you last week when The Best Wrestler Alive was in the Blood & Guts cage, fighting against The Elite?”

Caster & Bowens join everyone in the ring to get in FTR’s face. Caster asks where Cash & Dax were when The Acclaimed were fighting The Young Bucks when The Bucks were running things into the ground? Dax’s body can’t handle the grind, and let’s face it, Cash is not good enough to be on TV without his little buddy. So don’t ever talk about Acclaimed until you’ve down half of what they’ve done! And Bowens adds that he doesn’t know what The Acclaimed has to do to earn respect. Because last week, THEY were giving their bodies for this company! Bowens stabbed a man with scissors so that FTR have the chance to show up, whine and complain about their legacies.

Respectfully, The Acclaimed doesn’t give a s*it about FTR’s legacy. Caster & Bowens care about building theirs. The Acclaimed are homegrown! The Acclaimed are the heart & soul of A E W! EVERYONE Loves The Acclaimed! So Bowens will let them know that they don’t get to cut the line to face The Young Bucks, that right belongs to The Acclaimed. And the last thing he has to say is a friendly reminder: The scoreboard reads Acclaimed: 1, FTR: 0. So if they have a problem with that, Bowens suggests they nut up or shut up! Bowens drops the mic, and FTR fires hands! Billy Gunn & Mark Briscoe get in the middle of that!

Mark says no, this what The Elite want! This is what the Bucks, the EVPs, this is what they want! They want everyone fighting each other and not The Elite! Show some unity here! They are all AEW! The fans cheer that! Dax, Cash, Caster and Bowens all take a breath, and FTR offer a handshake. But Billy has his boys back off?! It seems the only way to settle this is to fight it out. Who comes out on top to go All In against Matthew & Nicholas Jackson?

My Thoughts:

A great Collision, with matches that only did so much for story, but we did get really good promos to make up for that. Very good training montage promo from Bryan with Yuta to give more of Bryan’s side in the All In prep, but also really good promo from Triple J right after to raise the stakes on Bryan VS Jarrett on Wednesday. That one is actually gonna be pretty wild, could even be main event worthy. Very good opening promo from Christian & The Patriarchy. Luchasaurus is again disrespected, the fans want to see him turn, and it feels like we’re just a match away from that. Buddy is back, Bang Bang Gang wants another shot, I would love if there was like a Triple Threat Trios Championship ladder match, and Luchasaurus screws Christian over.

A good promo from Dustin, The Von Erichs & Sammy Guevara, but uh, is Sammy trying to make himself the Triple H in this Texas Evolution? Or maybe, he just wants it to be a Four Horsemen style faction where Sammy can be one of the singles champs in the group. Probably more the latter but it still seems an interesting move. I do appreciate Sammy saying he escaped a “vortex,” in reference to Jericho, and I suppose he could make a go of truly being Face, but time will tell. And we got a decent promo out of Top Flight with MXM, but Leila’s “Top Flight Attendant” origin story was lacking. She just used the flight attendant gimmick to explain that they asked and she jumped on the chance for TV time. But Top Flight VS MXM will be a lot of fun.

Hologram & Mistico VS Premier Athletes was a great opener, mostly because of Hologram. The fans love him, he is incredible, I just wish there was a title for him to go right after. Well, maybe the ROH World TV title. Atlantis Jr. VS Hologram could be some great stuff, and could be the way to bring the TV title back to ROH. MJF had a good vignette for his visit to Mexico, and Kyle had a good promo to explain his origin story with Ospreay. Kyle VS Cage was really good but Cage needs to stop trying to make the second rope spinning slam a thing, it’s not gonna work. The first time, with Rocky Romero, a much smaller guy, he botched it. This time, he almost botched it to where Kyle could’ve gotten hurt. Yes, it’s a creative idea, but not practical and therefore not safe.

Very clever stuff with turning Toni Storm’s squash match into an excuse for her and Mariah May to brawl. Storm of course still wins, but I feel like Storm VS Mariah should be a match that gets escalated with a stipulation, that’s how heated this is getting. Rosa VS Taya was really good, too, and naturally Rosa won. Rosa and Deonna are themselves escalating things, that bull rope match will be great stuff for next week, and I would think that is when Rosa finally wins one over Deonna. Then Rosa is primed for a title match after All In, and there are all kinds of possibilities. Rosa has beef with Storm and Britt from the past, but it’d be interesting to see Rosa VS Mone play out, too.

The Triple Threat Continental Contender’s match was great stuff. It hardly ever let up on the pace, was hardly ever two of them being 1v1 while the other guy rested, and even when it was, it was more Lee than the others resting since he’s the lighter guy, the more technical guy, and the Heel. Given that, and how Lee is a champion already, he lost out. I thought it was gonna be Ishii but Claudio is a great choice. I don’t know if that goes to All In, but it’ll be a great match all the same. If it is on TV, Okada is definitely winning. If it is at All In, maybe Claudio has a chance, but I still lean towards Okada winning out.

And we got a great All-Star 8 Man Tag. I thought Acclaimed were going to factor into the finish, but I appreciate that this match got a real finish. Taven sure took a lot of that, and I think that’s more because fans love seeing Taven eat crow for all his obnoxious behavior. But in the end, Acclaimed shows up to confront FTR as promised, and their promo really tore into those guys. As I said on Wednesday after The Acclaimed called FTR out, this has to be about a tag match, winners face Bucks at All In while the other team waits until All Out. Acclaimed mentioned being 1-0 against FTR, so maybe FTR wins to go to All In. Bucks VS FTR happens, maybe FTR wins, and then the tiebreaker, FTR VS Acclaimed part 3, happens at All Out. Or we get a Triple Threat to protect everyone, regardless of the result.

My Score: 8.6/10

Tony Schiavone is in the ring.

“Fans here in Indiana, we have a one-on-one face-to-face so volatile, that everyone is going to be barred from ringside. Next week, Winter is Coming, part of Dynamite right here on TBS, for the AEW World title, let’s bring out the champion! Here is Samoa Joe!” Fishers, Indiana is torn as the leader of The Opps makes his way out to the ring. Schiavone then introduces the challenge, Eddie Kingston! The fans are much more united in cheering on The Mad King as he makes his way out, repping the Trash Pandas. Schiavone says, “Once again, everyone else barred from ringside-”

Joe takes the mic from Schiavone! “Schiavone, get outta my ring before I snatch that ugly wig off your head.” The fans boo, but Schiavone does as told. Joe says, “Now, if you’ll excuse me, it seems we have some situations to address. Y’know, Eddie, I bet you are just filled with questions that needed answering. So allow me to answer those questions right off the bat. First, you’re probably wondering why I’m not out here in a three-piece suit, looking like a million dollars.” Eddie says, “Corporate thuggin’, where you at?” Joe says yeah, but it’s for a simple reason. When he got on his private jet and the pilot said they were heading to Indiana, Joe realized it’d be like wearing a tux to a petting zoo.

Let’s face it! The penguins may appreciate it, but these “dumb animals” are far too stupid to realize they’re in the presence of greatness! The fans boo more, but Joe says the second question must be, Why Hook? And why Eddie? See, Hook is a man who has grown with a championship legacy: His father, Taz, was a great champion; his mentor, Joe, the greatest champion in the industry. But this is about education, Eddie, and Joe wanted Hook to have a complete one. So it was important that Hook learned what it was like living on the other side, “eating with the second place people, know how the steak tastes at the third place table.”

Joe couldn’t think of a better candidate to be that guide than Eddie. “A man who has never gotten it done! A man who has never crossed the finish line! A person who walks around, screaming about their potential, but never quite fulfills it.” The fans cheer Eddie on, but Joe chuckles. Joe will ask the third question, the most important one: What’s gonna happen next week? Well, Joe will tell you. Eddie will walk into this ring, he will fight his ass off, he’ll be every bit the lion he claims he is, and bring everything he has to the table in order to capture the greatest championship in this industry. But Eddie, you’re not gonna cross the finish, just like every other time.

The fans boo and Eddie gets worked up. Joe tells Eddie to have the consolation of knowing that it won’t be because of anything Eddie did. No, it will because Joe will choke him unconscious in the middle of this ring. Eddie says he still can’t get over how Samoa Joe, a man who was once held in high regard as a man who saved the indies, who had one of the greatest title runs in ROH, if not THE greatest. A man who went to war with Eddie’s own mentor, Homicide, and he’s talking about jets. Damn, dawg, you sold your soul out hard! And y’know what? Hook was to learn something from Eddie? What he learned was perseverance!

What Hook learned from Eddie was to never give up, even when everyone else tells you to, like Joe. When everybody in the back says, “Yeah, Eddie’s a hot head. Eddie has a point, but why does he yell and scream?” Cuz at least Eddie gets s*it done when he does. The fans cheer that! “So, Joe, stand here right now, Joe. Stand here right now. Because this Samoa Joe, I don’t know. And guess what? I don’t respect. The Joe I know and the Joe that I respect, you ran through everybody, bro. You showed fighting spirit, you showed the whole entire world, the world, what it meant to be a real heavyweight champion!

“But now, but now, que eso? What is this? What is this? Jumping people from behind, using a kid like Hook, getting all up in his head. What, what, you doing what the old school guys used to do? The guys that you used to hate? The guys that you used to call out? It’s funny, now you’re them.” Ooh… Eddie says the thing is, he can end this real quick since the fans want to watch wrestling and Eddie just wants to go back to the hotel and go to bed. So here’s the thing! If Joe doesn’t bring the ROH World Champion, the Submission Machine, if he does not bring the Samoa Joe that made Eddie wanna battle and keep going…

If Joe doesn’t bring back the Joe that beat up Eddie’s mentor for years, Eddie will eat Joe alive on December 10th! Eddie drops the mic and the fans fire up! Winter is Coming, as is one guaranteed slug fest! Will the Mad King finally “live up to his potential?” Or will Joe bring back the man that everyone respected?

The Opps speak.

They’re backstage per the ringside ban, but Hook steps up to say, “Samoa Joe took care of business tonight. Come next week at Winter is Coming, he’ll finish Eddie Kingston off.” Will Hobbs says, “See, we’ve got some business to take care of tonight. But you know, everybody’s gunning for these Trios Championships, so what we’re gonna do is, we’re gonna bless everyone. We’re gonna sprinkle a little holiday cheer around this place. Now last night on ROH, there was one team that impressed us. Dark Order, if you get past us tonight, you get a title shot against Shibata, myself, and Samoa Joe.”

Hook says, “See, Hangman, we know those are real good friends of yours. So we’re gonna have some fun out there with them tonight.” Shibata adds in Japanese that they’ll destroy Dark Order! Hook says that for Shibata the assassin, Hobbs the monster, and “the greatest second generation wrestler of all time,” it’ll be real light work. Is the Dark Order going to be used to send a message to The Cowboy? Or can they find a way to survive The Opps?

2025 Continental Classic Gold League: Kazuchika Okada VS PAC!

In perhaps the most shocking opening round result you’ll ever see, The Rainmaker did NOT start off with a win! He is 0-1 and already up against the wall as he now faces the 1-0 Bastard! Will Pac keep the momentum going? Or will Okada make it rain in Indiana?

The bell rings and the fans fire up already. The two circle, feel things out, and tie up. Okada shifts to a waistlock, Pac switches, but Okada pries free to wrench and wristlock. Pac squats, rolls, and then slips through to wrench and wristlock Okada. Pac then hammerlocks, but Okada drop toeholds. Okada floats to a facelock, but Pac wrenches right out to facelock in return. Don Callis is again on commentary this week to simply brush off Okada’s loss last week by saying the Callis Family is making a group effort in the C2. They still have the statistical advantage in this tournament. Okada fights up and uses his height advantage to put Pac in a corner.

The ref counts, Pac and Okada let go of each other, but then Pac pie faces Okada! The fans fire up while Okada storms back up. The ref has them both stay back until Pac is out of the corner. Snatching victory from the jaws of defeat, Okada gets points on the board! However, he could still be a step behind the leader. We see Kyle Fletcher VS Kevin Knight later, who comes out of that as Gold League’s 2-0 man?

Mark Briscoe speaks.

“Now roundabout a year ago, Danny Garcia, me and you faced off not once but twice. First in the Continental Classic, and then on Collision for your TNT title. Now, I won one, you won one. But my main takeaway was that Danny Garcia is the real deal. This kid is game! Now, here we are a year later, and my goodness how things have changed. Now I’m the reigning and defending TNT Champion. And Danny, Daniel, my opinion of you is not what it once was. You see, Danny, I’m afraid that maybe you’re falling into a Death Riders death spiral. Y’know, you talk all this noise about how you want the shot. I confront you right to your face, and I tell you, ‘Hey, man, let’s do it!’

“You get in my face, and then you back away. What, are you playing mind games? Is this a Jon Moxley-ism? Well, look, Danny, I don’t play mind games, I don’t play no kinda games. I ain’t duckin’, I ain’t dodgin’, so I went straight to Tony Khan. I said, ‘Tony, let’s make this match. Briscoe, Garcia, for the TNT title.’ He said, ‘Mark, I got just the place and time: Cardiff, Wales, Winter is Coming.’ I said, that sounds perfect! Because I’m comin’, too, baby! And it’s gonna be an international ass whooping!” The Sussex County Chicken is ready to fly across the Atlantic just to tear it up, but will he be the one put on ice?

The Demand speaks.

Ricochet says, “To all my, uh, frequent fliers out there, you already know who this is. It’s AEW’s National Champion himself, Ricochet. And I’m feeling pretty good right now, but it’s funny. Over the past couple of days, I’ve had to keep my phone on Do Not Disturb, because I’ve had promoter after promoter emailing me, texting me, calling me, begging me, to come save their little company, to give their talent an opportunity. Because they know what I’ve known this entire time, that Ricochet is not only a champion, but Ricochet has been a viral sensation in every single company that I have worked for, and you can look it up.

“But despite all of that, what I’m known for best is my charity work. Humanitarianism. So my first piece of charity work will be this Friday, in Columbus, Ohio, where I make my debut in ROH. Actually, it’s against an ex-ROH-Champion himself, Dalton Castle. And Dalton, you and I, we’ve known each other for a long, long, long time, so I hate to be the one to tell you, but this Friday, I will dispose of you with ease, and since Columbus is such a cold, miserable place, I’ve decided, uh, I’m gonna stay an extra day. And on Collision, I plan on doing some more charity work where I give some charity case out there an opportunity at my championship.

“Because The Demand is in more demand than we have ever been. And remember: When you’re in Demand, you can make demands.” Kaun adds, “And if you don’t follow demands…” Liona shouts, “You get put DOWN!” AHA~! Feels good, that feels real good. But will The One & Only stay the first-ever AEW National Champion with taking on The Peacock and then potentially a wild card opponent? Or will his holidays already be ruined before Winter even arrives?

Backstage interview with The Conglomeration.

Renee Paquette is with Mark Briscoe, Orange Cassidy, The Babes of Wrath, and even Roderick Strong, as she says we are in the midst of the Continental Classic. And with that, this Saturday will give us a great match-up as Blue League pits Cassidy against Roddy. How will this one possibly go for The Conglomeration? Briscoe says he doesn’t mean to cut her off, but it would be an accurate observation to say that The Conglomeration has not started off The C2 with an abundance of success. That is why it is a good thing that the Word of the Day is: Retributification! So Saturday, Roderick Strong VS Orange Cassidy, someone’s gotta win!

Cassidy says yeah, up top, Roddy. Roddy says no, stop it! First off, he is NOT in the Conglomeration! Got that? Second, he beats Cassidy’s ass this Saturday to go on and win The Continental Classic? Got that? Cassidy asks Briscoe to explain the Conglomeration Rules for the match. Right, well, Cassidy had an idea for the match: No chops. Roddy says Cassidy’s an idiot, and he’s gonna break Cassidy’s back. Roddy pushes past Cassidy, Briscoe wants him to cool down and consider it, and the Babes head out. Cassidy says Roddy must not have seen him standing right here. But will Roddy make sure nothing and no one stops him from breaking through the C2?

BREAKING NEWS on Darby Allin!

Speaking of the Continental Classic, it was a battle in the opening round between The Relentless One and Kevin Knight, but it would appear Darby was far more banged up than he let on. It was as a precaution that Darby be taken to the hospital for observation, he was not cleared to travel, let alone compete, here tonight. AEW hopes to have a clearer picture by this Saturday, will Darby still be able to keep up the fight? Or does even he have a limit to what damage he can take?

2025 Continental Classic Gold League: Kyle Fletcher VS Kevin Knight!

As mentioned already, both these men won big in their opening round matches, so they both stand at 1-0 with 3 points. Okada finally got himself some points to catch up to The Protostar, but will Fletcher just take another step forward? Or will The Jet be leaving them both in the dust as he starts to take off?

The bell rings and the fans fire up as the two circle. They tie up, Kyle’s height helping him, but Knight digs his heels in. Knight drags Kyle up, puts him in the ring, and aims from the apron. Knight springboards, Kyle gets under, and he comes back with an ELBOW! An almost Hidden Blade like elbow at that, and Kyle rains down fists! The ref reprimands and counts, no closed fists! Kyle stops to huff ‘n’ puff and storm around while Knight sputters. Kyle stands on the corner and flexes, soaking up cheers and jeers. Kyle storms back to Knight but Knight CHOPS! Knight shakes out his own hand, but then Kyle scoops and SLAMS him down! Winner: Kyle Fletcher, by pinfall (gains 3 points; Knight earns 0)

And it is another incredible victory to make Kyle Fletcher 2-0 with 6 points! Callis grabs the mic to say, “I have something very important to say!” The fans boo that, but Callis says, “And you’re gonna wanna hear it, because it’s about The Young Bucks! But now, I’m gonna let you hear from the greatest wrestler I’ve ever seen, Kyle Fletcher! How you feelin’, big boy?” Callis hands the mic to Kyle while Josh Alexander & Hechicero bring those duffel bags of money out. Kyle says, “Not great, Don, I’ll be completely honest. Is that for me? You bringing that for me? I’ll take that.” Kyle stands to look at the money, and Callis says the fans are gonna hear every last sentence!

The fans boo more but just what is Callis going to say to and about Matt & Nick Jackson? We find out, after the break.

Dynamite returns and Callis is still berating the fans in Fishers.

“You’re very lucky that he even comes to this town! And now, I would like to discuss what happened last week with The Young Bucks! Y’know, Bucks, I could forgive a lot. You can lie to me, I could forgive that. You can cheat me, I could forgive that. You can KILL someone! I have forgiven that before. But the one thing that is an unforgivable sin is siding with Kenny Omega!” The fans cheer, but Callis tells The Bucks that he has something to add. “I have your money, Young Bucks! And I know that Kenny’s not gonna finance you. So if you don’t like it, I suggest, for the first time in your godforsaken lives, let your nuts drop, try to be men, and get in here and take it!”

The fans boo but here come Matt & Nick! The fans cheer and Kyle dares them to come get it. So they rush the ring! The Bucks dodge Kyle, DOUBLE SUPERKICKS! DOUBLE SUPERKICKS on Alexander & Hechi! Then they get Kyle with a B T E TRIGGER!! That was easier than they thought! They snatch up the bag, taunt Callis with it, but then in slides Okada! RAINMAKER on Matt!! Nick asks what the heck, man! The Babes of Wrath speak.

Harley Cameron remembers back to when Willow Nightingale was her second-ever opponent. She remembers then that Willow was kind and sweet and strong. She also beat the snot out of her, so being friends and teammates today still blows Harley’s mind. Willow says they’ve both already been through so much. 8 Woman Tags, Fatal 4 Ways, Tailgate Brawls, and even Blood & Guts! It is a joy teaming together with the same kind of crazy. Not a lot of people believed they could get this far, but that didn’t matter because they believed in themselves. They’re done relying on surprises or upsets. They are ready to be THE first-ever AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions!

So it doesn’t matter who is standing across the ring from them, they’re coming in ready. Who are they? The Babes! What do they have? The Wrath! BABES OF WRATH! BABES OF WRATH!! But then, who will feel the wrath in the tournament finals? We’re about to find out!

AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament Semifinals, Hardcore Holiday Deathmatch: Timeless Love Bombs VS #MegaProblem!

Toni Storm & Mina Shirakawa won the Full Gear Fatal 4 Way Tag and earned the right to add a stipulation to this tournament match. They wanted revenge for the brutality seen in Blood & Guts, so they chose a match that would do away with tagging in and out, do away with disqualifications and count-outs, and that could only be one by pinfalls, submissions, or knockouts! Will Toni & Mina prove they are indeed knockouts? Or will Megan Bayne & Marina Shafir make them #BowDown?

Toni already wraps her fist in that pearl necklace of hers, and she goes right up to ROCK Marina! The bell rings, the fans fire up, and the brawl is on! But Marina turns things around with KNEES while Megan fires off forearms on Mina! The fans rally, Marina and Megan double whip, but Toni & Mina hit STEREO THEZS PRESSES! They rain down fast hands, then keep after the #MegaProblems with STEREO DDTS! Megan & Marina bail out, Toni & Mina go to the apron! TORNADO DDT to the floor for Marina, followed by a TORNADO DDT for Megan!

The fans fire up and Toni brings out… A champagne bottle?! She SMASHSE it on Marina’s head! Then she stomps Marina down, and she wants to use the sharp shard! She DIGS it into Megan’s forehead!! The fans go nuts, and then Mina brings out a giant candy cane! Mina uses it to SMACK Megan down low! And then she puts Megan in the ring, only for Megan to throw hands! Megan whips, Mina CANDY CANE SLINGBLADES! The fans fire up again, and she CLUBS away on Megan! Then she hooks Megan in the mouth! On closer inspection, there’s BARBED WIRE on the candy cane kendo stick!! That’s gotta really sting!

Mina calls to Toni, and Toni basement DROPKICKS Megan! The fans fire up with the Love Bombs, and we see Marina is busted open! Toni scoops Mina to YOYO SPLASH her on Megan! Kendo stick included! Mina snarls and gets the candy cane outta the way. The Love Bombs drag the Megasus up, but she blocks the suplex! Megan DOUBLE SUPLEXES the Love Bombs! Not the cleanest, but damage done! Megan puts Toni on the ropes, Marina storms in, and she TIGER FEINT SPIKES Toni! Megan hauls Mina up, and she THROWS Mina out onto Toni! The fans are torn but Marina smiles while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Marina goes looking under the ring, Megan helps out, and they go to the table. They dump off the gifts to take the table itself. The Love Bombs regroup while said table is put in the ring. Marina starts setting the table while Megan DECK SToni! And SMACKS her with that kendo stick! Megan SMACKS Mina, too! The Love Bombs writhe, Marina RAMS Toni into railing, and she puts Toni in. Then Marina drags Mina up, puts her in the ring, and Megan aims for the table. Toni slips free but Marina KICKS her down! Megan CLUBS Toni, then she goes out to fetch the present on the other table. The shape is rather suspicious…

Megan says it’s for her, what could it be? Well, Marina got herself a frying pan, and then surprise! Megan unwraps a golden chair! And she throws it to Toni, so she can SHOTGUN it into her! Dynamite returns to single picture as the Love Bombs are put through the ropes. Marina SMACKS Mina in the stomach with the frying pan while Megan CLUBS Toni in the chest! And again, and again, and again! The Mega Problems go all the way to TEN, then they flip off the fans. The fans boo, but Megan has her chair! And she SMACKS Toni on the back! Marina SPANKS Toni with the pan! SMACK with the chair! SPANK with the pan!

But Mina climbs! Toni ducks the double shot, chair and frying pan collide! Marina is disarmed, Mina MISSILE DROPKICKS the chair into Megan’s face! The fans fire up and Toni drags Megan to the apron! Marina BOOTS Mina down, but Toni gives Megan a STORM ZERO through the outside table!! The fans lose their minds, but Marina says screw it, she’s going to wrap this up. SAYANAGI on Mina, into MOTHER’S MILK!! Mina endures, fights the hold, but Toni is able to slide a piece of a cue stick to Mina! Mina grabs hold, and she DIGS it into Marina’s face!! Mina goes after Marina with the sharp wood!! Mina then jackknife bridges, TWO!!

Mina URAKENS Marina! Marina tumbles, Mina fires up, and Toni stands with her. Toni gives Mina the boost to go up, up, and SUPER DUPER CROSSBODY! Down goes Marina! The fans fire up as Mina puts Marina back in! Toni finds that golden chair, brings it around, and Mina climbs up! FLYING SLINGBLADE into the chair!! Cover, MEGAN CLOBBERS TONI ONTO IT! Megan still lives, but Mina brings Marina up. Mina aims for the table, Marina fights the suplex, and Marina snap suplexes Mina first! Then Megan SPEARS Mina down through the other table!! But Toni waistlocks Megan! Marina SMACKS Toni with the chair!

Megan and Marina coordinate, they get Toni up for the FATE’S- NO, Toni slips free, and she STORM ZEROS Megan onto Marina! Megan tumbles out, Marina writhes, and SANTA IS HERE?! The fans go wild for Santa Claus, and he says he has a gift for Marina. Marina says fine, give it here! She snatches the box away, but it’s just a MIDDLE FINGER! That’s not Santa, that’s LUTHER! And Toni GERMAN SUPLEXES Marina onto tacks??! And then THE SHOE~! And the BIG PACKAGE! LOVE BOMBS WIN!!

Winners: The Timeless Love Bombs, by pinfall (advance to the finals)

They raised the stakes and they won the gable, Toni & Mina are moving on to the championship match! But will the inaugural champions be TIMELESS? Or will they #FeelTheWrath as Winter is Coming?

AEW hears from The Triangle of Madness and their nemeses.

Julia Hart calls out Jamie Hayter. “What’d you not learn from Blood & Guts?” Thekla tells Kris Statlander, “You sure do a lot of sticking your alien ass into the Triangle’s business. Why do you call yourself ‘Big Stat Daddy’ when you really just a little baby b*tch?” But Kris says says she has never heard someone talk so much like a champ without actually being one. But hey, fake it ’til you make it, right? So just name the time, the place, the date, the state, and she will not hesitate to make you call her Daddy! Jamie says wow! Now, while Jamie and Kris might not be friends, they have enemies in common.

So how about this? Cardiff Collision, there’s not much else to do in Cardiff except beat people up, so it will be them doing that to Skye & Julia. Kris likes that idea. And then after that, Kris and Jamie can… have a little chat. About what? Oh, right. But can Stat & Hayter Hit Hard enough to break the Triangle of Madness? Or will the Sisters of Sin drag them down into the abyss?

The Dark Order walks ‘n’ talks.

Evil Uno says, “Finally it happens! A moment years in the making. Dark Order is back on Dynamite and we have an opportunity like none other. If we win tonight, we get a chance at the AEW Trios Championships. We have been-” But then Alex Reynolds notices Hangman Page storming past and stops him. Reynolds tells The Cowboy, “Look, I know you’re lookin’ for blood, but whatever you do, don’t ruin this for us.” Hangman says, “Fine. I owe you that, at least. But the second this match is over, they are mine.” Hangman heads out, Uno says ignore that and let’s get ’em! Will Uno, Silver & Reynolds finally turn things around? Or will they see The Opps are #NeverLacking?

Backstage interview with Mercedes Mone.

Renee is now with The CEO, “Thirteen Belts Mone,” #UltimoMone, and namely the Undisputed ROH Women’s World Television Champion. Renee notes that we have not seen Mone since Full Gear when she was unsuccessful in her match against- Mone stops Renee there, then takes a breath. And another. Mone says, “I am a global icon. Thirteen Belts Ultimo Mone. PWI’s number one wrestler of the year. Does that sound UNSUCCESSFUL to you?!” Renee says no, it does not, sorry. But this Friday, she defends the ROH Women’s TV title against Red Velvet- “Who I’ve already beaten,” Mone points out.

Mone says if TK wants Mone to beat Velvet again, she’ll gladly do it. “Red, you wanna talk a lot of talk on ROH and Collision, when you know I’m not there. But here I am on Dynamite, where I am every single week, and where are you? Home? Hiding? Still crying about this title that I took from you? HAHAHAHA! Well, Red, since you said I am a fighting champion, I’ll give you another chance to fall off the Money Train again. And since you wanna say I never show up to ROH, you can watch me this week on Honor Club to get a little preview of Final Battle. Because, Red, there’s a price to pay when you talk down on Mone.”

The CEO smiles as she holds up the ROH Women’s TV title, but will Mone’s first week on ROH TV also be her last?

FTR speaks.

Stokely Hathaway says, “Tonight is the greatest night of my life. Why? Because FTR are the AEW World Tag Team Champions. But I need to address what happened last Saturday on Collision. The greatest tag team of all time were having a celebration, but they were interrupted by Austin Gunn & Juice Robinson. But the worst part about it all is they said they wanted to be champions for Colten Gunn & Jay White. So, lemme get this straight. Instead of wanting to be champions for AEW, instead of wanting to cement your legacy, instead of wanting to inspire a whole generation of tag team wrestlers… You wanna be champions to pop the boys on the injured list? How pathetic!”

Cash Wheeler tells Austin & Juice, “You talk about how you were the last team to beat FTR, but make no mistake, that is the last time you’ll beat FTR. When it matters, you will not get the job done. Austin, who was it that ended your AEW World Tag Team title reign? I don’t remember. Oh, wait, it was us. And Juice, you don’t care if it takes an hour? 15 minutes in, you couldn’t get the job done, #AndStill. When it comes down to it, you are always gonna be Billy’s Boy & Mr. Storm.” Dax Harwood asks if Juice has anything been more than a walk-behinder. Dax has known Juice’s whole career, and all he’s ever been is the bag carrier.

And now, Juice is the leader of the group, power has gone to his head, and he decided that he’s just as good as the big dogs, the world tag team champions. Good luck with that. And Austin, how great that he has this nice, cushy job thanks to your daddy. You’ll have a job forever, this is a paycheck for you. But for Dax, this is his life! 21 years in, and this title is his life! And Austin went and put his hand on Dax’s life? Saturday night, FTR will be live on Collision, and they dare Bang Bang Gang to do that one more time. #TopGuysOut.

But then The Opps just CLOBBER Dark Order the moment they’re on the apron! The fans boo but Hobbs drags Reynolds up, Hook CLUBS Silver down, and Shibata is after Uno. Hook SMACKS Silver off the apron, Hobbs CLUBS Reynolds, and Shibata whips Uno hard into railing! Hobbs whips Reynolds hard into railing on the other side, and Hook sends Silver into barriers! Reynolds gets away from Hobbs to go after Hook, he ducks ‘n’ dodges to then DIVE back out, only for Hobbs to catch him! Hobbs pops Reynolds up, APRON POWERSLAM! Hobbs THROWS Reynolds away, Uno ROCKS Hook and KICKS Hobbs! Uno goes up, but Shibata BOOTS him down! Shibata goes after Uno again, KICKS him in the side, then rejoins the others. The Opps all soak up the heat while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Hook paces, Hobbs gives him a neck massage, then Hook goes out to fetch Silver. Hook whips Silver into the steel steps! Hook drags Silver up, puts him back in the ring, and drags him up again. Hook CLAWS Silver’s eyes, bumps him off buckles, then THROWS him away! Hook soaks up heat, stalks Silver to the corner, then stomps away! The ref counts, Hook stops at 4, and he soaks up more heat. Hook goes back to Silver, but Silver CHOPS! And CHOPS! And CHOPS again! Hook CHOPS Silver down! Hook tags Shibata, The Opps mug him, and Shibata CHOPS Silver right down! Shibata drags Silver up and around to then CHOP back down!

Shibata drags Silver around to CHOP on the back! Shibata tags Hobbs, they mug Silver more, then Hobbs scoops to BACKBREAKER! Silver writhes, Hobbs swaggers, and Hobbs taunts The Dark Order before he goes back to Silver. Hobbs suplexes Silver, holds him up for TEN, then SLAMS him down! Hobbs smirks as he drags Silver over, and he tags Hook. Hook stomps Silver’s leg, then drags him around again. Dynamite returns to single picture, the fans rally up, and silver fires elbows! Hook swings, but Silver ducks to GERMAN SUPLEX! Both men are down and the fans fire up! Hot tag to Uno and the fans fire up!

Uno dodges Hook to then BOOT Hobbs and ELBOW Shibata! Uno DECKS Hook! The fans fire up as Uno then mule kicks Shibata! Back body block on Hook! Back body block on Shibata! LARIAT on Hook! CHOP on Shibata! LARIAT on Hook, CHOP LARIAT on Shibata! Then Uno BOOTS Shibata, kicks Hook, and he reels them both in! DOUBLE DDTS! The fans fire up with Uno, but Hobbs is back! The fans chant for “MEAT! MEAT! MEAT!” Uno CHOPS Hobbs, but Hobbs just smirks. Uno CHOPS, and then SLAPS! Hobbs is pissed now! Uno dodges the lariat, comes back, but Hobbs LARIATS after all!

Hobbs scoops for the WORLD’S MOST DANGEROUS SLAM! Cover, Silver & Reynolds break it! The fans fire up as they HAMMER away on Hobbs! But Hobbs is just annoyed, and he grabs both of them by the neck! But they break free, and they DOUBLE SUPERKICK! The fans fire up, but Hobbs stays up! Hobbs runs in, Silver & Reynolds dodge his lariats, but they get caught into STEREO SLEEPERS! Hobbs hits the SPINEBUSTER on Uno! Cover, Opps win!

Winners: The Opps, by pinfall (deny The Dark Order a title match)

The Opps Dojo trainees celebrate with their senseis, but then wait! Here comes Hangman! He kept his promise, he waited until things were over! Hook runs for it but Hangman DECKS Shibata and fires hands on Hobbs! His fist is wrapped in chain as he HAMMERS Hobbs! Hobbs shoves Hangman away, but Hangman fires more shots! But Shibata KICKS Hangman’s leg out! Shibata & Hobbs mug Hangman, and Hobbs wraps his own fist in chain! but Hangman ducks and the LARIAT hits Shibata! Then Hangman brings out a glass beer bottle from inside his jacket! Hangman SMASHES it on Hobbs’ head!

Hangman then goes to the apron, takes aim, and slingshot, but security rushes out here! They save Hobbs from the Buckshot and swarm Hangman! The fans boo but The Opps retreat for now. Hangman throws hands on security! He doesn’t care about fines, that’s just money! He BOOTS one guy, then slingshots for the BUCKSHOT on another! The Cowboy storms up the ramp to chase after The Opps, but will he get the complete revenge that he wants before World’s End?

BREAKING NEWS for AEW’s December line-up!

First, this year’s Holiday Bash will be a THREE-HOUR SPECIAL, combining Dynamite & Collision for one awesome night! Then, the Dynamite Diamond Ring Battle Royale returns! The last two remaining stars will then advance to the “Dynamite Diamond Ring Finals” at the Dynamite on 34th Street event on Christmas Eve! Then the winner of that match will get their shot at the AEW World Championship for Dynamite: Maximum Carnage, January 14th of the New Year! Who cashes in for the biggest Christmas present anyone could ever ask for?

Backstage interview with The Don Callis Family.

Specifically, Renee is with Okada, Fletcher and The Jackal himself. She asks if it is safe to assume that The Bucks will not be joining The Family any time soon? Callis says he is tired of answering negative questions. Why is she so negative all the time? Okada says what happened out there was all Takeshita’s fault. He let them down again! Callis says sorry, but no, Takeshita is busy with training for his own Continental Classic match this Saturday on Collision. But then Takeshita appears! And The Alpha says, “Actually, Don… I’m right here.” Callis & Kyle step in between Okada and Takeshita to keep things civil.

Callis says he is very confident that with these three studs, the Continental Championship will come back to the Don Callis Family. Renee asks that if he is so confident, why is he not putting both parts of the Unified Championship as the prize? Callis says he’ll make this as simple as he can for her and the fans, as there are a lot of uneducated blondes who don’t understand basic things. At All In, Okada went in as Continental Champion, he defeated Kenny Omega in one of the greatest days in Callis’ life. That meant Okada became International Champion. Now, to some people, these are big concepts that they can’t understand.

As such, The Callis Family have created a symbol which is the Unified Championship, representing the two legs, aka the International and the Continental. Is that easy to understand? Yes, but that doesn’t really answer the question. Why not put both legs in? Callis says because HE is not an idiot, he doesn’t do things to be charitable, he doesn’t make risky bets. Why put the International Championship on the line for anything unless they had to? That’s what degenerate gamblers like Nick Jackson do! Kyle says regardless, with Kyle at 6 points, Takeshita on 3 and Okada on 3, the Callis Family is guaranteed to bring home the Continental Championship at the end.

Callis says he feels good hearing those words. Kyle also promises that the International Championship is not going anywhere. It is staying right here. Love it! But will the family really stay dominant through the rest of the C2? Or could someone really ruin those plans for them?

Hangman Page speaks.

The Cowboy paces around, then shouts, “For THREE year, for three years, I’ve fought to get back to the world championship. I gave three years of my life, of my sweat, of my blood, to get to that championship. I fought Ospreay, I fought Fletcher, I fought everyone on this damn roster to get it, and the person who cost me the world championship is Hook! Is HOOK! Joe, for you, for you, Full Gear was The Opps’ crowning moment. But for me, it was but a bump in the road, Joe, because whether it’s from you or from Eddie, I will take that championship back. It will be mine.

“And Hobbs, Shibata, if you want to fight, then you have got one. Next week, Atlanta, Georgia, Winter is Coming. Hobbs & Shibata, I will not be alone. You know who is coming for you. Get your affairs in order.” Does that mean what it sounds like?! Will Hobbs & Shibata have a shootout with The Cowboy and The Most Dangerous Man in AEW?

2025 Continental Classic Blue League: Jon Moxley VS Claudio Castagnoli!

For the first time in their AEW careers, we see The Maniac and the Swiss Cyborg battle it out 1v1, and for a very crucial second round win in the C2. It is Death Rider VS Death Rider and iron sharpens iron, but who will be left standing at the top of the block?

The bell rings, the fans are losing their minds already, and the two circle. They feel things out, Claudio shoots in for a leg, then a facelock, but Moxley fights the suplex. Moxley waistlocks, then he clinches, but Claudio powers him down to the mat. Claudio goes for the arm, Moxley fights it off, and the ref only now realizes Marina Shafir is lingering ringside. He orders her to leave per the Continental Rules, and she obliges. Claudio puts Moxley in the corner, the ref counts, but both men take their time letting go. The fans rally as the two circle again. They knuckle lock, they go shoulder to shoulder in a Test of Strength, and the fans rally for “BALD! BALD! BALD!”

Claudio powers Moxley to the mat, cover, ONE as Moxley gets the arm up. Claudio pushes it down, ONE as Moxley gets the other arm up. Claudio pushes the arm back down, ONE as Moxley bridges! Moxley fights and turns, but Claudio DOUBLE STOMPS him down! The fans are torn, but Claudio stands Moxley up to UPPERCUT! Claudio stalks Moxley to the corner, UPPERCUTS again, and stalks Moxley to another corner. Claudio CHOPS, whips, and runs up, but into a BOOT! Moxley gets in Claudio’s face to egg him on, then pie faces so he can CHOP! Moxley fires forearms and CHOPS on repeat!

Claudio scowls but Moxley CLAWS Claudio’s back! Moxley puts Claudio in a corner, then climbs up to rain down fists! The fans count along, Moxley goes past TEN, then CLAWS Claudio’s eyes after about 13! The ref counts, Moxley hops down, and he wrenches to wristlock. Moxley SNAPS the fingers! Claudio still scoops to BACKBREAKER! Moxley bails out, Claudio pursues, and Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Claudio RAMS Moxley into steel steps! Moxley falls in a heap, clutches his shoulder, but Claudio brings the steel steps around. Claudio stands them up on their side, then has Moxley by the legs! Claudio SWINGS Moxley into the steel steps! Moxley is down in a daze while the ref reprimands Claudio. Claudio rolls into the ring to wait on Moxley. Moxley drags himself to the railing while the ring count climbs, but Claudio goes back out after him. Moxley pokes Claudio in the eyes! The ref reprimands Moxley now but he ROCKS and CHOPS Claudio on repeat! Moxley whips, Claudio reverses, and Moxley hits barriers hard! He even tumbles up and over them!

The fans cheer as Moxley is down in the front row. Claudio hops the barriers to haul Moxley up, and RAM him into the barriers again! Then he UPPERCUTS Moxley! Moxley flops back over the barriers, and we see he is busted open from the collision with the steps. Claudio pursues Moxley, puts him in the ring, and storms in after him. Claudio runs to BOOT Moxley! Moxley flounders to ropes, Claudio bumps him off buckles, and bumps him off more buckles! Moxley staggers around, Claudio GRINDS Moxley’s face against the ropes, then headlock punches! Moxley fires a forearm, Claudio fires back, and repeat!

Dynamite returns to single picture once more as the forearms keep going! The fans rally, duel, and fire up as the shots keep going! Moxley HEADBUTTS Claudio again and again! A little double edged, but Moxley runs, only for Claudio to catch the shotgun dropkick! And now GIANT SWING! The fans fire up as Moxley goes around and around and around, and Claudio stops at eight to step through the legs! SHARPSHOOTER! Moxley endures, blood pouring out, and Claudio sits deep on the hold! Moxley fights, claws at the mat, and reaches out. But Claudio turns around to shift into a CROSSFACE! And he rolls Moxley from the ropes!

Moxley endures, even with the hands in his face! The fans rally and duel as Moxley fights to a cover, TWO! Claudio lets go, but now Moxley has him! BULLY CHOKE! Claudio fights up, Moxley shifts sides, and he becomes a backpack! Claudio swings Moxley off of him, only for Moxley to ROCK Claudio! Claudio fires back, the shots go back and forth again! The fans fire up as this gets fast ‘n’ furious! Moxley JABS, BODY SHOTS, and FOREARMS! But Claudio ducks a shot to UPPERCUT! Moxley staggers back, Claudio runs up, but Moxley DUMPS him out! Then he DIVES! Claudio is sent into the desk!

The fans fire up again and Moxley rises up. The fans hope these two “Fight Forever!” but first off, C2 matches have 20 minute time limits, it’d be a draw if this went forever! Moxley hurries after Claudio, puts him in the ring, and he runs up, but into an UPPER- NO, Moxley makes it a backslide! TWO, CUTTER!! Claudio staggers up, and he LARIATS in return! Both men are down and the fans cheer on “A E DUB! A E DUB!” We get the 10 minute notice, we’re halfway through that aforementioned time limit. The two men rise up with the standing count, and they’re up at 5 of 10. Claudio reels Moxley in, Gotch Lift, but Moxley fights the lift!

Moxley pushes on the legs, slips around, and he has the SLEEPER! The fans rally, Claudio endures, but Moxley spins Claudio to try the Gotch Lift! Claudio BACKDROPS, Moxley sunset flips it! TWO, and Claudio has the legs again! But Moxley bridges up to drag Claudio down to a cover! TWO!! Claudio escapes, both men stagger up, and Claudio UPPERCUTS in the corner! Claudio throws off the elbow pad and runs, but into a POLISH HAMMER! Then LARIAT!! Both men are down again and the fans fire up! Moxley huffs ‘n’ puffs as he rises up again, and he watches Claudio. The fans rally, both men stand, and Moxley runs! CURB- NO, Claudio dodges!

Moxley comes back, CURB STOMP after al!! Cover, TWO!! Claudio survives, but Moxley is right on him! REAR NAKED CHOKE!! Claudio endures, fights around, but Moxley shifts to a facelock. Claudio still rises, and he lifts Moxley to DUMP him out of the ring! The fans fire up and Claudio rolls outside. Claudio runs up to UPPERCUT Moxley into the railing! Moxley staggers all the way to the far side, so Claudio just runs in again! DOUBLE STOMPS on Moxley against the chair!! The fans fire up as Claudio stands Moxley up against the steps. Claudio UPPERCUTS again and again, then gets space. Claudio runs in and UPPERCUTS Moxley against the steps!

Claudio puts Moxley back in the ring, then hurries to run and LARIAT! Cover, TWO! Moxley survives, but Claudio reels him right in! Claudio tucks the arms, RICOLA~ BOMB!! Cover, TWO!!! Moxley survives, and he just eggs Claudio on!! The fans are thunderous as they’re forehead to forehead, and Claudio UPPERCUTS! Moxley fires a forearm, Claudio UPPERCUTS, repeat! Shot for shot, then Moxley CLAWS the eyes! Moxley runs, but into the POP-UP- NO! Moxley CLAWS eyes again! But Claudio still ROCKS Moxley! Moxley kicks low, PARADIGM SHIFT!! But Moxley can’t make the cover, he’s too beat up!

The fans rally up while Moxley and Claudio go to corners. Moxley and Claudio stare each other down, then they rise up. The five minute warning, and UPPERCUT!!! Cover, CLAUDIO WINS!!!

Winner: Claudio Castagnoli, by pinfall (gains 3 points; Moxley earns 0)

It was a brutal 15 minutes, and then it all ends in the blink of an eye! The Swiss Cyborg, the Emissary of Violence, just beat the former AEW World Champion and the Death Riders’ leader! The other Death Riders arrive to celebrate and support both men, but it is now Claudio leading the way in Blue League! But now both men have to turn right around for their third C2 matches! Claudio VS Mascara Dorada, Moxley VS Konosuke Takeshita, will the Death Riders continue to dominate the block?

My Thoughts:

An awesome Dynamite here as like the one non-themed episode between all the holiday episodes. Great promo segment from Joe and Eddie to open things, and Eddie got to verbally serve Joe because in the end, Joe’s gonna win at Winter is Coming. And I found it a bit funny that Eddie said he was wrapping things so we could get to wrestling, and then Opps had to talk for themselves. But naturally, they had a match and used The Dark Order to stick it to Hangman. Great stuff with Hangman going after The Opps, scaring them off and all that, and then great promo afterward to set up what is clearly Shibata & Hobbs VS Hangman & Swerve. That will be awesome stuff, really.

But with the sudden news of the convoluted route to a title match at Maximum Carnage, you can bet Hangman and Swerve each get in the Dynamite Diamond Battle Royal for Holiday Bash. Then it could easily be Hangman VS Swerve for Dynamite on 34th Street, and the winner of that faces Joe for the title. And even with the 40+ day road map set out, I bet Joe still wins at Maximum Carnage. With that, maybe it is Swerve VS Joe in Arizona, then we get Hangman VS Joe: The Final Round after that. Maybe. I don’t remember if there are PPVs in January, but a PPV feels like the only place Joe would lose the title.

Very good promo from Triangle of Madness and good response from Hayter and Statlander. They’ll have a really good tag match, and I feel like Thekla gets involved. It probably won’t be a straight up Kris VS Hayter, we might get a Triple Threat of Kris VS Hayter VS Thekla at World’s End or something. Very good promo from Harley & Willow to not only give us perspective on their friendship, but also hype up the tag tournament. Awesome “Hardcore Holiday Death Match” tonight, they took holiday theming to a very creative place, especially with Luther Claus showing up. We could’ve had one less false finish, and then I was actually a little surprised Toni & Mina won. But now we get Faces VS Faces, the tag title match will be awesome now.

Very good promo from Mark Briscoe on his own, he was Serious Mark here, and that was good stuff for calling out Daniel Garcia. Not sure we also then needed a Conglomeration group promo where he was Happy Mark again, but it was still a good promo to help hype up Cassidy VS Roddy for Collision. And them making a point of Darby being in the hospital, hopefully that isn’t a real injury, let alone a serious one, but it is understandable why we’re getting some staggered schedules in the tournament now since we won’t get Darby’s match with Mike Bailey and they gotta use who they have.

And of course, awesome stuff with the Continental Classic, as well as using it to help along other stories. Obviously the Conglomeration dysfunction is one, but there is also the Don Callis Family’s feud with the new new new Elite, and even their own dysfunction from Okada and Takeshita. Okada VS Pac was awesome, great quick pin win for Okada. Then Fletcher VS Knight managed to outdo Okada VS Pac, and a great win for Fletcher to keep winning. I believe I said this last week, but it is odd timing that The Elite and DCF can seemingly set up a 5v5 but Blood & Guts is past. Moxley VS Claudio was an awesome main event, really pushing that overrun, but awesome win for Claudio. This can even further add to the doubts in Moxley’s leadership skills, and the eventual mutiny by the crew.

My Score: 9/10
