Pete Dunne, bring your ass out here! But instead, we get Ethan Page. All Ego has them cut his music so he can tell Trick, “I am sooooo sorry that I’m not Pete Dunne. But I am NXT Champion, All Ego Ethan Page. But you know that, you were raising my hand this past Sunday at No Mercy.” And usually it is tradition that after a champion defends their title, they open the show. And that’s right, Trick only did that once!

The fans continue to sing “Ethan Sucks! Believe In Joe!” Trick finishes the line, put one some clothes and shut up! Trick is a man of his word, he called that title match down the middle. But don’t get comfy, Trick’s coming back for his title. For now, Trick has unfinished business with Dunne. Ethan laughs and says let’s go back a bit. Trick’s title? Really? Because Ethan thought he’d be defending his title in four weeks, the move to CW and in Chicago. That’s Ethan defending the title, not Trick. Ethan would be surprised if Trick even makes it to Chicago! Here comes Dunne! Trick dodges and fires haymakers! The brawl is on!

The fans fire up, security runs out here, and they back these two down! This match is meant for the main event! Will someone #FigureItOut?

Hank ‘n’ Tank walk ‘n’ talk.

They’ve called their shot, so now they gotta execute! Gallus, Rascalz, it don’t matter, it’ll be like a two-a-day in training! They hit first, they hit last, HONK HONK! But then Gallus steps in, and Markus says to save their breath. He and Wolfie are going to run through them and The Rascalz. If they want content for social media, come see them right now. Tank says fine, they’ll Fill Up The Tank right now! Refs rush in to stop this from turning into a fight, they gotta go to the ring. Jaida Parker walks by and says this is why she told her boys to stay out this mess. But then the Fatal Influence walk over and tell her she’s missing something.

Oh right, never mind, she LOST on Sunday. Jaida says at least she’s not riding the… clout of these two. Rawr, this kitty has claws. Jazmyn says she’s not clout chasing. And if Jaida’s ribs aren’t too broken, Jazmyn can prove it tonight. Fine, make sure to bring your two mommies with her. Miss Parker heads out, but will there be a major meltdown so soon after No Mercy?

We just heard a bit from two of these teams, but it is time to put up or shut up! Will Zachary Wentz & Trey Miguel move on from Wes Lee to go after more gold? Or will the big boys make this their division?

NXT returns and Gallus makes their entrance, followed by Hank ‘n’ Tank. In this Triple Threat, all three teams are legal at once. Teams talk it out, but Gallus CLOBBERS Hank ‘n’ Tank! The fans boo as Mark & Wolfgang mug the hosses, but then the Rascalz get after Gallus! Gallus hit back, whip, but RSCLZ dodge, body shot, kick, KICK and SUPERKICK! Then DOUBLE STOMP! The fans fire up, but then Hank RAMS Trey into a corner! Hank whips Trey corner to corner, Trey goes up and over, but gets caught! Hank then LAWN DARTS Trey to the POST! Hank keeps moving and he BOOTS Trey! But Mark UPPERCUTS Hank!

Tag to Wolfgang and Gallus whips Hank. Kitchen sink knee, then RUNNING SENTON! Cover, Trey breaks it! Trey brings Wolfgang up to victory roll, but Hank drags Trey away! BIG back suplex! Hank drags Mark up, he and Tank double whip, but Mark holds ropes. Mark BOOTS Hank, DUMPS Tank, and Wolfgang CLOBBERS Hank! Gallus coordinate, and Mark builds speed! Wolfgang gives him the boost, Mark FLIES out onto everyone else! The Gallus Boys fire up, and Joe Coffey stands on the desk to soak up heat. Mark shoves Hank into the ring, drags him up, and whips him to ropes, for a BIG ELBOW! Cover, TWO! Hank toughs it out but Mark tags Wolfgang. Gallus drags Hank up to mug him. Wolfgang snapmares Hank, drops a knee, then covers, TWO! Wolfgang BLASTS Tank and Joe taunts him.

Wolfgang BLASTS The Rascalz, tags Mark, and Gallus mugs Hank some more. Hank staggers, Mark BOOTS him down. Mark drops knees on Hank’s stomach, then drags him up. Hank ROCKS Mark first! And CHOPS! Sarah Schreiber is with the NEW NXT Tag Team Champions and congratulates them on regaining the belts. Frazer thanks her, and yes, these bad boys are back where they belong! Right, amigo? Axiom says yes, but now he feels bad after seeing what Ridge Holland did to Chase U. Frazer agrees, that was ruthless. But these two are moving on to new challengers, and here they are! Trey apologizes for interrupting, he just wanted to congratulate #Fraxiom on the win last Sunday. Axiom says yeah, this is a match everyone’s wanted to see. Zach says it is all love here. But don’t get it twisted, The Rascalz are gonna win next week, and take these tag titles to TNA!

Frazer says hey, hold on. Zach is on a roll, but c’mon, is changing partners really gonna change the outcome? Zach says at least his partner and him are on the same mindset. Can these two say the same? Oh, says the guy with a singles title! Frazer & Axiom head out, surely to game plan. Will they be ready for the energy Zach & Trey are bringing their way?

Dunne runs in because he’s ready NOW! The brawl is on, security and refs rush in again, because this still has to wait for the main event! What will even happen the moment that bell rings?

Lexis King VS Oro Mensah w/ Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson!

The Drama King had to go and push buttons again, because now the Main Man is all fired up! Will Oro shut down the idea of Meta Four making a change? Or will Lexis continue to say, All Hail The King?

NXT returns as Meta Four makes their entrance. The bell rings, the two tie up but also start pulling hair! The ref reprimands, they end up on ropes, but then they break. Lexis pie faces Oro, Oro TACKLES Lexis! Oro rains down fists, cover, ONE! Oro dodges to CHOP! And CLUB! And ROCK! And CHOP again! Lexis staggers, swings, but Oro dodges to CHOP again! Oro DECKS Lexis, has him in a corner, and UPPERCUTS! The fans fire up for Oro as he THRWOS Lexis into ropes! Lexis sputters, Oro BLINDSIDES him! Cover, TWO! Oro mockingly applauds Lexis, eggs him on, and stalks him to ropes.

Oro grabs a leg, Lexis holds ropes, then he BOOTS Oro! Lexis gets up but Oro comes back with a ROLLING KICK! Lexis bails out, Oro pursues! They go to barriers, Lexis ELBOWS Oro away! Lexis goes up, Oro grabs him, and LAUNCHES him to the floor! The fans fire up and Oro stalks Lexis. Oro drags Lexis, puts him in the ring, then stalks him again. Oro fires hands, YANKS Lexis up to SLAM him down! Cover, shoulders are up, so Oro lets off in frustration. Oro BOOTS Lexis, stalks him to a corner, then CHOPS! Lexis ROCKS Oro in return! Oro DECKS Lexis, storms back up, and he gets in Lexis’ face!

Lexis pushes Oro away. Oro comes back but Lexis puts him on the apron. Oro GAMANGIRIS! Oro springboards but Lexis SHOVES him down! Oro crashes on the ground, Lash & Jakara panic, and Lexis goes out after Oro. Lexis puts Oro in, then KICKS Oro in the side! Lexis KICKS Oro in the back, covers, ONE!! Oro toughs it out but Lexis rains down fists! The fans boo but Lexis lets off. Lexis talks smack on Oro, hauls him up, then short arm LARIATS! Lexis KICKS Oro in the back, then gets moving, CROWNING LARIAT! Cover, TWO! Oro survives, and he CHOPS! Lexis SLAPS Oro down, then hauls him up for haymakers.

Lexis CHOKES Oro in the corner, the ref counts, and Lexis says, “Your father should’ve burned to ashes!!” Oro is pissed!! Oro SLAPS Lexis!! Oro SMACKS Lexis off buckles, fires off fists of fury, but the ref backs him off! Oro jukes to KICK Lexis and fire off more fury! The ref stops Oro again, they argue, but then Lexis trips Oro! High stack, feet on ropes!! Lexis wins!!

The D’Angelo Family talks backstage.

They all complain about Oba Femi beating up on Channing Lorenzo & Luca Crusifino during the title match on Sunday. But then hold up, Oba Femi himself walks in. Stacks says The Ruler’s got balls for walking over. Oba understands their frustrations. Oba knows it is very difficult for them to come to terms with the fact that their boss was no match for Oba. Oh please! Oba got lucky. He won at No Mercy, but The Don ain’t done. And Oba’s gonna part with that title real soon. Big words from such a small woman. In many cultures, the woman is meant to be seen, not heard. That’s it! Rizzo wants after Oba, but the boys keep her back!

Tony steps in and asks who Oba thinks he is! In Tony’s culture, you talk to a lady like that, and you get smacked in the mouth. Oba says maybe Tony should do something about it. Luca asks if that’s a challenge. Oba says you heard him. Tony has Luca stand down. Stacks will handle this. Stacks says you got it. Rizzo isn’t sure, but Tony knows The Underboss will handle this. No one talks to Rizzo like that and gets away with it. But given how Oba handled Tony, will he have no problem handling Tony’s right hand man?

Wren Sinclair says Tavion Heights returns from Japan soon, so maybe- WHOA! Gallus is throwing a tantrum! Joe is furious that Je’Von got involved out there. Joe is gonna END him! He’ll do it so Je’Von never gets to have his first legal pint! Yeah, they should do it tonight! End him so all the little TikTokers who love watching him flip and bounce around- Wren says hey, guys, they get Gallus is upset, but Charles wants them to keep it down. Myles has sensitive ears. Plus, why would Joe want to face Je’Von again? He’s really good, and even Logan Paul- Joe shouts, and asks if she’s finished. Mark says after Je’Von, Gallus comes for the Cup!

Oh, you want some of them? You think you can get your names on the Cup? Wren says Charles will- He stops Wren himself and says she’s new here. Gallus heads out and Charlie tells her to calm down. Stop just calling out everyone! She needs a convincing sales pitch. Take it in, think about it, and once that little head of hers is clear, then she makes a decision. Okay, got it. Will the Iron King crush the Young OG? Will he then look to rip that Cup out of Charlie’s grip?

Rosemary w/ Wendy Choo VS Tatum Paxley!

While the #SleepyPsycho could not put Kelani Jordan to bed, who would’ve thought twisted Tatum would go after her! But just like with Kelani, Wendy calls in the help of her wicked new friend! Will this demented playdate be a nightmare come to life?

NXT returns as the creepy combo of Rosemary & Wendy make their entrance. Rosemary BREAKS the custom Wendy doll Tatum made, and Wendy smiles. Tatum also smiles, and the fans fire up. The bell rings, Rosemary and Tatum step forward. Then Rosemary grabs Tatum by her face! Rosemary puts Tatum in a corner, lets off, takes a swing, but Tatum dodges. Tatum waistlocks, Rosemary pries at the grip, and then switches. Tatum sits down, pries the hold open, then backflips over to waistlock again! Tatum SLAMS Rosemary down, facelocks, but Rosemary fights up. Rosemary pulls hair, the ref repriamnds, but Tatum brings Rosemary around.

They end up on ropes, Rosemary WRING an arm but Tatum cartwheels! Rosemary drop toeholds Tatum into ropes, then runs up to SLIDING LARIAT! Rosemary then HANGING HEADSCISSORS! Wendy smiles, Rosemary lets go as the ref counts, and Rosemary twirls Wendy’s pigtails. Rosemary then step sin, but Tatum ROCKS and CHOPS her! Rosemary HEADBUTTS back! Tatum staggers, comes back, but runs into a GERMAN SUPLEX! The fans rally, Rosemary brings Tatum up and short arm LARIATS! Cover, TWO! The fans rally again but Rosemary clamps on with a neck wrench! Tatum endures and the fans rally again.

Tatum fights up, Rosemary fireman’s carries, but Tatum fights free! Tatum runs up but into a BOOT! Rosemary runs up, but into a DROPKICK! The fans fire up, Tatum ROCKS Rosemary, ENZIGIRIS, then roars! Tatum runs in to CROSSBODY in the corner! Tatum WRINGS Rosemary, then JUMP ELBOWS! Cover, TWO! Rosemary scrambles away, Tatum runs up, but Rosemary catches the crossbody! Rosemary grins before she FALL WAY SLAMS! Tatum staggers up, into a clinch! EXPLODER! Rosemary grins, covers, TWO! Rosemary is mad with the ref but she drags Tatum back up. The fans rally, but Rosemary winds up!

A big win over a former TNA Knockouts Champion, and now she has the wicked grin. But that’s until Wendy YANKS her down, CLOBBERS Her, then clamps on the NIGHT NIGHT! But Tatum fights free! Rosemary SPEARS her down! The fans boo as Wendy & Rosemary beat Wendy up! Wait! Lyra Valkyria is here!? Lyra CLOBBERS both Wendy & Rosemary, then rallies with forearms and a BOOT! The fans fire up, and Tatum is in disbelief! Lyra’s still Tatum’s friend after all? They hug it out and the fans cheer! Will The Morrigan help Tatum fight off these monsters from under the bed?

Sarah is with The Bruiserweight, and extra security, as she says he is a man on the mission. He told Trick to #FigureItOut, and Dunne says yeah! Trick’s gonna figure out that actions have consequences! This ain’t no music video, this is real life! And Trick learns the lesson of a lifetime! Wait, Trick still gets in! Dunne goes after him, they brawl from interview area to catering! Ava Raine is there and she shouts at them to stop this! ENOUGH! If they want to settle it, then fine! They do it now! No more waiting, Trick VS Dunne happens next! Trick and Dunne head out, and Ethan steps in. This place is starting to fall apart with Ava as GM, huh?

Ava scowls at All Ego, but will order be restored once Trick and Dunne finally “figure it out” in the ring?

Jordynne was on social media to say that next week is a big week for wrestling. WWE Week on USA means all three shows, from Raw to NXT to SmackDown, will be on the same network. NXT returns with The Bruiserweight waiting in the ring. Trick once again makes his entrance, but Dunne goes right at him! They brawl on the ramp, the fans fire up, and Dunne BOOTS Trick! Trick BOOTS Dunne! The fans chant “WHOOP DAT BUTCH!” as Trick RAMS Dunne into barriers! Trick CLUBS Dunne, then RAMS him into barriers! The fans fire up with Trick, he drags Dunne up to CHOP! Trick is red hot, and he CHOPS Dunne again! Dunne scrambles away but Trick chases him into the ring. The bell rings, Trick CHOPS Dunne again! And CHOPS again! Then he picks Dunne up with both hands!

Dunne slips his hands in, drags Trick down, WRISTLOCK DDT! Ethan Page watches from backstage, and grins as Dunne drops a knee on Trick’s arm! Dunne twists Trick’s ears, then fishhooks him! The ref reprimands, but Dunne CLUBS Trick down. Dunne twists Trick’s arm, bends the fingers, then isolates the arm to STOMP it! Trick writhes, the fans boo, but Dunne aims. Dunne runs up, but Trick hurdles over! Dunne hits buckles, staggers back, Trick JUMPING NECKBREAKERS! Cover, TWO! Trick drags Dunne up, suplexes, and holds Dunne up! Dunne fires knees, then slips free to wristlock DDT again!

Dunne snarls at the fans, stalks Trick, and hooks up the legs. Dunne pulls Trick’s hair, then fishhooks him, CLUBS him in the head, then lets off to STOMP the legs! Trick writhes, Dunne paces around him. Dunne kicks Trick around, slaps him, then kicks him in the face! Trick gets mad, even as Dunne kicks and CHOPS and SLAPS! Trick stands, CHOPS in return, then CHOPS again! And again! And again! The ref counts as they’re in the corner, and Trick lets off. Dunne BOOTS Trick! Dunne keeps moving, but Trick POP-UP UPPERCUTS Dunne! Dunne sputters, Trick runs, and Trick SWINGING NECKBREAKERS!

Dunne goes to the apron, Trick pursues. The fans continue to chant “WHOOP DAT BUTCH!” Trick clinches, but Dunne holds ropes! Dunne CHOPS Trick, hops down, then crotches him in the apron skirt! Dunne ROCKS Trick, goes up to the apron, and PENALTY KICKS! Trick sputters, the fans boo, but Dunne drags Trick towards the steps! Dunne pushes Trick’s head down, to STOMP it!! The fans lose their minds, Trick sputters more, but Dunne just mockingly shrugs, and  NXT goes picture in picture.

Trick is in a daze, but Dunne just soaks up heat from the fans. Dunne CLUBS Trick, pushes him into the ring, then has him on the apron. Dunne runs up to BOOT Trick! The ref reprimands but Dunne steps in, to pull Trick against rope! Dunne has the chinlock on, and he ELBOWS Trick in the head! Then he DROPKICKS Trick to the floor! The ref reprimands but Dunne goes to the apron, to FLYING STOMP Trick down! Dunne then pushes Trick back in, snapmares and clamps on a chinlock. Dunne uses leverage, this is practically a Bully Choke! Trick fights up, pries free, and JAWBREAKERS! Dunne comes back to KICK Trick in the side!

Dunne stomps Trick around, then drags him into a TRIANGLE HOLD! Trick endures as Dunne squeezes tight! Dunne fires forearms and elbows, but Trick fights up! Trick stacks, TWO, and Trick deadlifts Dunne to put him in the corner. Trick HOTSHOTS Dunne! Dunne lets go while he sputters, and Trick drags him up. Dunne fights the lift, Alabama Lifts in return, and hits an AIR RAID CRASH! That’s a shot at Sheamus there, but Dunne scowls as he goes back to Trick. Dunne KICKS Trick down! Trick flounders to ropes, but Dunne is on him. Dunne wristlocks, Trick fires haymakers! Dunne DECKS Trick with a forearm!

Dunne soaks up heat while NXT returns to single picture, then he stomps Trick. Dunne takes aim, runs up, and he CLOBBERS Trick! Dunne aims again, and he BOOTS Trick back down! Brooks Jensen is backstage.

Shawn Spears walks over and says there’s something he wants to tell Jensen. When Edris & Malik viciously attacked Spears, Jensen was the first one there. Jensen basically saved Spears. And then what Jensen did for him, attacking Edris and beating Malik, Spears wants to say something people probably haven’t said to Jensen in a long time. “Thanks.” Spears means that. He has Jensen look him in the eyes as he says thanks. This whole time, Spears thought he was the one saving Jensen, but turns out Jensen’s the one saving Spears. Spears is committed to this! He won’t leave Jensen like everyone else has.

Jensen asks, then why does everyone think Spears is manipulating him? Spears says Jensen knows Spears doesn’t care what anyone else thinks. So what does Jensen believe? Think about it. Spears thanks Jensen again, then leaves. Dion Lennox walks by and says that is textbook psychological manipulation. What? Dion says this is a classic case of gaslighting, bro. Dion leaves, and we see Spears was still watching from afar. Will The Chair Man have to keep others from showing Jensen the truth?

Joe Coffey w/ Gallus VS Je’Von Evans!

The Iron King cheated the Young OG last time, but ya boi bouncy~, so he bounced back and made sure Joe didn’t cheat tonight’s Triple Threat tag. Will Je’Von be able to even the score? Or will Gallus make good on their promise to end Je’Von’s bright future before it begins?

NXT returns as Je’Von makes his entrance. He wants after Joe already but the ref keeps him back. The bell rings, Je’Von CLOBBERS Joe! Je’Von whips, Joe reverses, but Je’Von breaks free, only for Joe to HEADBUTT! Joe fires hands, whips, but Je’Von blocks a hip toss, only for Joe to block back. Je’Von body shots, gets a leg up, and he flips up and around! Je’Von keeps moving, and he RANAS! Joe is up, Je’Von uses ropes to SLINGSHOT RANA! Then he DROPKICKS! Joe bails out, Je’Von builds speed and DIVES! Direct hit, and both men hit the desk! The fans fire up and Je’Von hurries to put Joe back in!

Je’Von goes to a corner but Joe runs in. Je’Von BOOTS Joe, ROCKS, CHOPS, and BOOTS again! Je’Von leaps, but into a fireman’s carry! ROLLING SENTON, then a VADER BOMB! Cover, TWO! Joe is frustrated but he talks trash. He pie faces Je’Von, pushes him down, but Je’Von gets up to SUPERKICK! Je’Von runs, rebounds, NEURALIZER KICK! Cedric says that wasn’t him, what’s Joe talking about? Joe storms out, dares Cedric to try him, but then Je’Von FLIES! Je’Von takes out all of Gallus! The fans are thunderous, “Uncle Cedric” coaches Je’Von and Je’Von puts Joe in. Je’Von goes up, up and SKY TWISTER!! Cover, Je’Von wins!!

Tatum gushes over her “sweet dove” having returned! Tatum knew that one day Lyra would forgive Tatum and realize what they had was special! And nobody has Lyra’s back on Raw like Tatum did on NXT. Lyra says hold on, let’s review. The issue was that Tatum wouldn’t let Lyra have any other friends. And when Lyra told Tatum to make friends, she didn’t mean literally make… But the point is, Lyra knows they didn’t leave things on the best terms. Lyra said she’d never come back, but she just couldn’t help it. Tatum says it has been so lonely around here. Lyra says chin up, kid. Tatum has backup now.

And Lyra did realize, she’d rather be fighting alongside Tatum than against her. Let’s go show those weirdos just how weird Tatum really is! YES YES YES! But uh, could they maybe…? Yeah, okay. They hug it out again! Will Wendy & Rosemary be in for quite the fight now that the former NXT Women’s Champion is teamed with twisted Tatum?

Backstage interview with Ava Raine.

Sarah is with the NXT General Manager, and says tonight has been completely chaotic, what with Trick and Dunne brawling all night, not figuring anything out. How does Ava plan on settling things? Ava knows those two haven’t made it easy. The ref was just doing his job, but Ava is sure she speaks for the fans when she says there has to be a winner. So next week, Last Man Standing! And then whoever wins will face Ethan Page for the NXT Championship on October 1st! Sarah thanks Ava for her time. Will that massive golden opportunity be just the thing to #FigureItOut?

Oba Femi VS Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo w/ The D’Angelo Family!

The Ruler is still North American Champion, even after The Don pushed him further than just about any one opponent ever has. However, The D’Angelo Family isn’t letting him off the hook for his disrespect! Can the Underboss conquer the mountain that Tony could not? Or will Oba just add him to that long list of names?

NXT returns and The Family makes their entrance. The bell rings and Oba circles with Stacks. They approach, Stacks dodges and fires hands! Stacks knees low, whips, but Oba blocks to reverse! Oba runs up but stacks dodges to fire hands! Stacks climbs, rains down fists, but Oba stops him at two! Oba RAMS Stacks into a corner, then TOSSES him back the other way! They both loved No Mercy. And both their favorite part was Giulia’s arrival. Mind blowing! Ashante THEE Adonis be creeping as Karmen asks how Edris is doing. Not good. Karmen heard he needed shoulder surgery after what Jensen did. Brin feels awful. And ever since then, Malik hasn’t talked to Brin. Ashante has a rose and says he feels so bad about what happened to Edris & Malik. But Adonisly, if she needs a shoulder to cry on, he’s right here for her. Um… Luckily, Eddy Thorpe steps in to say not to take anything from Adonis. Is this his new tactic? The ladies leave, and Adonis says look, it’s DJ Plutonic.

But hey, just because Eddy’s got no game, doesn’t mean he can mess with Ashante’s. So just let him do his thing, or he’ll get this work. Ashante leaves, still holding his rose. Will Ashante find some way to score? Or does he have to learn how to do things honestly rather than Adonisly?

Je’Von talks with NQCC.

The Young OG says this Cup is legit. Look at these names on here. He might put his name right around here. One day. Wren asks what makes him thinks he deserves a shot? Oh, well, one, he went pretty deep in that Speed Tournament last week. Two, he main-evented Heatwave in a banger Fatal 4. And three, he just spun the block on Joe Coffey. Oh, those are very compelling points. Does he have a fourth? Well, Wren’s cool, but this is starting to turn into a job interview with all these questions. He hasn’t really had a job other than this. Wren says she does feel he deserves a shot. Next week even? Yes, next week! Say less!

They shake hands, Je’Von heads out, and Wren tells Charles that she just gave Je’Von a Cup match, so he better get ready! W-What?! Why!? Well, she did what he told her to do! Told her what to do!? To ask contenders why they think they deserve a shot, hear their sales pitch, and then give it a second to sink in before deciding. She did, and Je’Von does. Charlie is beside himself. But this isn’t official, right? Wren didn’t speak to Ava yet? Well, no, but Je’Von’s probably on his way… Charlie throws a fit, shouts at Myles, and asks why he didn’t do anything! Myles takes out his earbud and asks what’s going on.

Charlie storms off, Wren says Je’Von thinks she’s cool. Okay… But if Wren’s getting Charlie into matches, is she also going to end up losing the NQCC that Cup?

Jaida Parker VS Jazmyn Nyx w/ The Fatal Influence!

While Miss Parker may not have won the NXT Women’s Championship, she got a lot closer than all three Fatal Influencers have combined! Will she show a fellow former soccer player that she can still kick ass, even with bad ribs? Or will the teachings of Jacy & Fallon help Jazmyn finally stand out in the ring?

Jaida CLOBBERS Jazmyn, “Too easy!” Jaida has Jazmyn in a corner, whips corner to corner, then runs up to back body block! The fans rally for Jaida as she whips again! Jazmyn comes back, but into a BACKDROP! Jaida runs up to cover, TWO!

Jaida snarls, clamps onto Jazmyn, scoops, but Jazmyn slips free to waistlock. Jaida bucks the O’Conner, but now Fallon distracts. The ref reprimands, but Jazmyn runs up! Jaida dodges but then the leg sweep trips her! Jazmyn keeps moving to PENALTY KICK! Jaida clutches her ribs and writhes, but Jazmyn kicks her more and more! Jazmyn stalks Jaida, Jaida body shots! And body shots! Jaida whips, Jazmyn reverses and CALF KICKS! Jaida again writhes but Jacy & Fallon cheer. Jazmyn boops Jaida, then runs to SOMERSAULT SENTON! Cover, TWO! Lola Vice says she’s so proud of Kelani Jordan for winning Sunday. The others agree, that was a great defense. But Izzi Dame is completely over all of that. But to what’s coming next, Kendal Grey asks Carlee Bright if she thinks you know who will be here tonight. Who knows, she has so much aura, it is something everyone wants to see. But The Fatal Influence walks in and Jacy mockingly asks, “Is the newbie gonna come out? O M G~!” She then says if someone wants to talk aura, look no further. This trio has all the aura. Lola says they’re just afraid of new competition. Fallon says no, they’re not afraid of girls who have been off PLEs.

Kelani says this is not what’s happening right now. She will not let these three poison the locker room with their toxicity. This is THE best women’s division, and it’s because of what they do in the ring, not in the back with their petty drama. Jacy says even as a champion, Kelani has a lot to learn. Count your days as champ, Kelani, because they’re numbered. Fatal Influence leaves the watch party, but will The Standout just have to humble them herself?

Duke Hudson tweets.

The Prodigy is still NXT Women’s Champion, and she struts her way to the ring, even as fans boo. She grabs the mic and says she’s sure they’re all so sick of seeing this scene, but she’s not! Yeah, yeah, Jaida slapped the taste out of Roxie’s mouth, but defeat tastes so much worse, doesn’t it? And she’s been handing out plates of it ever since she arrived here. Second all time in PLE matches. Second all time in PLE wins! Iyo Sky? Asuka? She’s smashing all their records! So let’s be honest: 99% of the women who have competed in this ring only dream of having the career she’s already had! Even the main roster can’t stop talking about her!

The fans boo, then they bring up “GIU~LIA~!” Roxie says y’know what, she’ll give Jaida some credit. At No Mercy, Jaida proved she is the future of NXT. The problem is, Roxie proved what she can’t be taught, reproduced, or touched! She is the most wanted woman in all of NXT! The fantasy match-up constant! Roxie VS X, Roxie VS Y, but when it comes to reality meeting fantasy, the results are always the same and they will never change! Like she said, no one has the ability to take this title from her! It doesn’t matter if you’re the hottest NXT Prospect, if you’re a former NXT Women’s Champion, or even if you’re the hottest free agent from Japan trying to steal Roxie’s shine!

Roxie promises us all that when the smoke clears, it will be her holding her title in the air. But then the lights go out! The fans fire up, because… It’s Chelsea Green!? The Hot Mess is back again, and she laughs at little Roxie. Was she expecting someone else? Rhetorical question! And another rhetorical question: Why does this section smell like mildew and BO? It’s called deodorant, people! Chelsea continues to the ring and says back to the speculation as to who “Miss Polly Pocket” will talk about and who interrupts her, yada yada. As we know, Chelsea is beloved by the WWE Universe! Well, sure is down in NXT.

Chelsea says she will do anything for her fans! Well, most of them, because most fans are creepy~! But regardless, here she is~, you little pint-sized champion! And nobody, and she repeats, nobody, not Sir Nicholas the Prickless, not Pinhead Pearce, and not even Ava, will tell Chelsea she is NOT the #1 contender! Wait, the lights go down again! And this time, it’s GIULIA~! The fans really go wild as the #BeautifulMadness has arrived! One of Stardom’s best takes her time walking around the ring before she steps up and in to be face to face with the champ. Chelsea yips and yaps at her, but that just gets her a FOREARM, and a KNEE!

The fans fire up as Giulia stands over the Hot Mess. Roxie is a bit annoyed seeing how easily Giulia did that. Giulia grabs the mic from Chelsea to tell Roxie, “Me, you, the CW.” The fans fire up as NXT’s next era is going to be insane! But will Roxie give in to the Beautiful Madness? Or can she keep her sanity as well as that championship?

My Thoughts:

Much like Raw last night, this was a great NXT to follow up No Mercy and build things for the coming weeks. Great stuff with Trick and Dunne right from the start, their constant brawling “forcing” their match to be sooner than the main event. It was a great match, and it was very clever to go with the double count out draw. They push this feud a little further, and now Trick VS Dunne in a Last Man Standing will be an awesome contender’s match. Dunne’s got two contenders matches in a row, and I have a feeling he isn’t winning either. Raw’s Fatal 4 will likely be won by Jey Uso so he can face Bron Breakker, and I would think Trick wins so he and Ethan can headline the CW premiere.

Great promos leading into the Triple Threat Tag match. I really like that it was the Triple Threat with all teams active at once, it kept things moving. Great overbooking, as of course Good Brothers weren’t going to let Hank ‘n’ Tank get their shot, and Je’Von still needed to settle things with Joe Coffey. Rascalz VS Fraxiom will be awesome, but I’m pretty sure Fraxiom retains. It might be because Wes Lee interferes, it might just be a clean match and the NXT Superstars keep the NXT titles. But I would think Wes shows up next week, goes after The Rascalz, and that sets up Wes VS Zach 2, or even Wes VS Trey, for a big TNA show.

Great match from Je’Von and Joe Coffey, even with Gallus being a concern, but logical move for Cedric to go out there. But instead of setting up a tag match, Je’Von goes back to the Heritage Cup. Wren Sinclair is really finding herself in this position, she’s very funny, and Dempsey VS Je’Von will be a really fun Heritage Cup match. I feel like Gallus will cost Je’Von and maybe then we get Je’Von & Cedric VS Gallus. Good promo from Jensen with Spears and Dion, as well as a good promo from Brinley, Karmen, Ashante and Eddy. Matches being set up all over while interweaving stories, and while Spears’ arm is in a sling, he probably uses Jensen as his metaphorical right hand to beat up people Spears says are against Jensen.

A very good but very quick match from Lexis and Oro. Lexis crossing the line with what he said, then cheating to win, we’re definitely getting a rematch that goes for longer, Oro wins, and then we’ll do a stipulation match blowoff, much like all of Lexis’s other feuds. I was surprised Rosemary returned just to lose another match, but Rosemary and Wendy beating up Tatum to bring out Lyra was a big surprise. Lyra only just came back to Raw to add to the story with Pure Fusion Collective, but I guess they want Lyra to help Tatum push past this story with Wendy so that Tatum can move up towards some other title opportunity.

Good promo with Oba and the D’Angelo Family, and very good match for Stacks against Oba, but of course Oba beat Stacks. He probably beats Luca in another match in the next couple of weeks, and then who knows, Tony probably goes for his own rematch with Oba for the CW premiere or something, and chances are, Tony wins there because there are still plenty of Tony D fans. Good promo from Jordynne Grace to set up a TNA Knockouts Championship match, can’t wait to see who tries her. They surely won’t win, TNA titles staying with TNA like NXT titles staying with NXT. Very good promo from Ridge, and good tweet response from Duke, they’re going to have an awesome match.

Very good match from Jaida with Jazmyn, and great spot for it to be the main event match. Solid win for Jaida, but of course Fatal Influence attacks. And with the promo backstage, it feels like Jaida might be joining forces with Kelani and Lola against Jacy, Jazmyn & Fallon. To be fair, she would’ve also been a good choice joining Lash & Jakara but then stories pivoted. Even so, Lola and Kelani also fit the part of superstars Fatal Influence hate, i.e. those that came from other sports instead of being pro-wrestlers from the start. And with it being Lola, Jaida & Kelani, there’s a good chance they win, but we could also see Fatal Influence cheat and get a pin on Kelani to set up a title match.

And speaking of the women’s division and titles, great promo from Roxanne, and great interruption swerve with Chelsea showing up. But yeah, Giulia of course still showed up. Chelsea was basically brought out so Giulia could hit someone and still stare Roxie down to stake her claim. Giulia probably also faces Chelsea 1v1 and wins to give fans a sample of what she can do before the title match. And between it being the CW premiere and Roxie already having put in a great reign as a Heel, I would be very surprised if Giulia didn’t win. New era, new champion, and Roxie moving on to RawDown, it just makes sense.
