The Big Five Project returns…and so does Kinny Killa as one of the best friends of the show makes a special guest appearance to cover Summer Slam ’94! Emanating from the brand-new United Center in Chicago, the 1994 edition of WWE’s summer extravaganza was an exceptionally good event that featured Razor Ramon recapturing the Intercontinental Championship, a very surprising heel turn, and one of the best women’s matches anywhere in 1994. The highlight, of course, was the epic Steel Cage match for the WWF Championship between Owen Hart and his brother Bret “The Hitman” Hart and the guys do a watch along of that match here. Is it the greatest Steel Cage match of all time, as Dave suggests, or does the match go too long? All that plus the return of The Undertaker as he takes on…. The Undertaker? It is as ridiculous as it sounds, but we have all the details for you here, on another epic installment of the Big Five Project.

Attitude Of Aggression #343- The Big Five Project: Summer Slam ’96

The Big Five Project is back as we cover Summer Slam ’96, including the Boiler Room Brawl and HBK overcoming Vader!

Attitude of Aggression

The Big Five Project returns for the first time in 2026, and in this installment, we are knee deep into all the action and stories from the summer of 1996. We first take a look at one of the most important moments in pro wrestling history, and the biggest heel turn ever….Hulk Hogan abandoning the Hulkamaniacs and forming the nWo at Bash at the Beach ’96! From there it is on to Summer Slam ’96. The event was largely mediocre, save for the final two matches. One saw an epic Boiler Room Brawl between Mankind and The Undertaker, including an unbelievable heel turn at the end of the match. Still celebrating his boyhood dream coming true, WWF Champion Shawn Michaels defended his title against the massive Vader. WE break down all the results for you and the larger impact this event had on the remainder of 1996. Plus, we cover all sorts of stories bubbling under the surface, such as Ahmed Johnson’s very real and very scary injury, Sycho Sid’s rise in popularity, Vince McMahon continuing to make questionable decisions and pushing appalling storylines, and a staggeringly low buy rate for this event. The stench of 1995 was still lingering at this PPV. But better days are not far off now. All that, plus we take a look at how the card for WrestleMania 42 is shaping up. It’s a triumphant return for the Big Five Project here in 2026, and we would be honored if you would join us!

Attitude Of Aggression #313- The Big Five Project: Summer Slam ’95

The Big Five Project returns to cover Summer Slam ’95, including a watch along of Razor Ramon vs Shawn Michaels in another epic ladder match!

Attitude of Aggression

The Big Five Project returns just in time for things to start improving in our chronological compilation of the history of WWE’s Big Five PPVs. As bad as King of the Ring ’95 was, things could only get better. And get better they did with Summer Slam ’95. A much better card saw some outstanding matchups such as Hakushi vs the 1-2-3 Kid, Barry Harowitz winning a match, a casket match between Kama and The Undertaker, the PPV debut of Isaac Yankem, DDS (who would go on to a much more fiery career in WWE) as he faced Bret “Hitman” Hart. By far and away, the best match of the night was a rematch of WrestleMania X, a ladder match for the IC title between Shawn Michaels and Razor Ramon. The match was good enough to be deemed watch-along worthy, and the guys do just that on this Episode. It’s not all good, though, as we also have Bertha Faye beating Alundra Blayze for the Women’s Championship and King Mable nearly breaking the WWF Champion, Diesel, in half during their title match. But Summer Slam ’95 was a definite step in the right direction for Vince McMahon and the WWF, and we have all the details for you here on another epic installment of the Big Five Project!
