The two go around and around again and again, and Shida picks Via up to swing her around! The fans cheer and Shida SLAMS Viva down! Shida stalks Viva to the apron, drags her around, and CLUBS her. Shida says iku zo (let’s go) and runs up! KNEE LIFT! The fans fire up with Shida again and she goes back to the ring. Shida drags Viva up on the apron, but Viva HOTSHOTS back! Later, said woman put Harley through two tables at Arthur Ashe Stadium, and those tables were covered in tiny toy cars. And then Harley had an encounter with Anna Jay’s fat ass, non-sexually, then it was Tacoma, Stockton, and then Harley was a kitty cat for Day of the Dead, to be sacrificed at the altar by Thunderrrrrrrosa, so yes, all in all, quite a rough year for Harley. But what does the future hold? Renee says they’re not out of time. What? Renee apologizes, Harley shouts, “Fear the wrath of Harley Cameron!” Will all this fire inside of Harley burn whoever faces her next? Or will Harley just end up with burnout?

The Kingdom mugs Carlie, then feed to a BOOT! FOREARM! LARIAT! Bennett covers, TWO! The fans rally with Bennett and he brings Carlie up. Bennett CHOPS Carlie off his feet! Bennett stands Carlie up but Carlie RAMS him into the Infantry corner! Dean traps Bennett, and Carlie runs up. Bennett BOOTS back, ROCKS Dean, then BOOTS Carlie again!

Bennett reaches for his corner but Dean trips Bennett! Carlie distracts the ref while Dean spins Bennett around to SMACK off the apron! Bennett sputters, Carlie runs out there, GUILLOTINE KNEE DROP! Silver whips Dean, BACKDROPS him, “I’m freakin’ jacked, baby!” Silver runs at the corner to SMASH Dean, whip corner to corner, but Dean reverses. Silver dodges, ENZIGIRI! GERMAN SUPLEXE! SUPERKICK! The fans fire up but Dean JAWBREAKERS Silver! Taven tags in, as does Carlie! Taven dodges Carlie to SPLASH Dean! HEEL KICK for Carlie, GAMANGIRI for Dean! Reynolds runs in, Taven puts him on the apron, and Taven SUPERKICKS Silver! KICK O’ THE KING for Reynolds! The fans fire up for Taven, and he goes to the apron. MJF is the biggest scumbag coward Roddy has ever met. As Brian Cage and Lance Archer, and well, “JAAAKE! ‘The Snake’ Roberts.” Yes, The Snake slithers in and Roddy says he was just talking about Jake’s former client. Jake says yeah, former. He isn’t here about Archer, he’s here about Beast Mortos. Roddy needs to back off already. But Mortos is Roddy’s boy. No he’s not, Mortos is LFI now. And LFI has a very important match coming up with The Acclaimed.

That means Roddy is messing things up. Mortos needs to be focused, ready, and the killer that he is. If Roddy can’t back himself off, then maybe Mortos will back Roddy up for him. Roddy says Mortos is his boy, but if Jake wants Mortos to try, then hey, Roddy needs a second win. Have Mortos meet Roddy on Collision. Jake grins and says what a fool. Has The Savior of the Backbreaker just doomed himself? Or will he find a way to break through to “his boy,” Beast Mortos?

Komander drops down, Lio handsprings over, then Lio bypasses, redirects, and redirects again! The fans cheer as Lio eggs Komander on. Lio then dodges Komander, rolls him up, TWO! Oklahoma Roll, TWO! Komander has a cover, TWO as Lio goes Matrix to slip free! Lio waistlocks, Koamdern slips out the back to trip and flip over!

Komander rolls back, wheelbarrows, and basement arm-drags! Lio tumbles out, the fans fire up, and Komander smiles. Lio cools off while the ring count climbs. Lio slides in at 5 of 10, and he steps to Komander again. Komander offers the handshake now, and Lio slaps it away to then fire forearms! Lio whips, Komander reverses but Lio ducks the haymaker! The Bad Child’s bad mood may not be fully lifted, but this win surely helps. Will we get part 3 sooner rather than later?

My Thoughts:

A great Rampage here, no need for a fifth match that would’ve just been filler. Shida VS Viva was a great opener, a great return for Shida, she can surely have something title wise past Full Gear what with Kris VS Mone already established and potentially Mariah VS Mina as the next thing. Great promo from Harley with her recap of her own 2024. Hard to get a ready on Harley’s popularity but she could start to make her way up the ranks. And good promo from The Vendetta. That last line teases them adding more members, and I wouldn’t mind seeing them get at least one more person on their side so that person can kinda be the scrub that takes losses in matches for them.

Great Triple Threat Tag to help along some of these character turns. Infantry are strong Heels now, The Kingdom are becoming strong Faces now, and then Dark Order was just kinda there to take the loss. Archer & Cage beating down Kingdom adds to this feud between the full Undisputed Kingdom and the Don Callis Family on behalf of MJF, even though Don Callis Family also has beef with Ospreay, Ricochet, Hobbs and Mark Davis. Good promo from Roddy and Jake The Snake to set up what could in a roundabout way be the blowoff of this Mortos story. Kind of a sad substitute for how we’re NOT getting Cole VS Roddy 1v1. As I said on Dynamite, Cole and Roddy surely get that Triple Threat with MJF and that’s where the tension between Cole and Roddy happens.

And great stuff out of Top Flight Airlines, aka the full faction of Top Flight and friends. Quick aside: after Leila lost her wig last week, she’s letting her natural hair show and she looks great as always. Another aside: AEW still can’t keep track of its own stuff. When advertising Collision, Excalibur phrases it as “Jack Perry puts out an Open Challenge,” but the graphic clearly shows Action Andretti has already accepted it, so that’s why I just said Action accepted. I feel like part of the problem is Collision has been prerecorded the last few weeks, taped on Thursdays to air on Saturdays. Rampage is recorded Wednesday night after Dynamite. There is miscommunication and it’s just a bit annoying that it’s been five years, they can watch WWE as an example, yet they still mess this up.

Top Flight VS Beef & JD was great, the fans loved both teams, but it made sense for Top Flight to win going into their contender series match tomorrow night. Top Flight VS Outrunners is going to be great, but I feel like Outrunners will win because they were given FTR’s seal of approval weeks ago. Lio VS Komander Round 2 was just as great as last week’s match, I really do hope they give us Round 3, winner moving on to a title match. Granted, with a lot of Heels holding titles here in AEW right now, maybe Komander wins to then move on and challenge like, Jack Perry, to then lose and simply give the champ a great defense.
