For the times, they are a-changin’…

The Undisputed Triforce World Championship will be defended in a Triple Threat, featuring the three who started it all: Link, Zelda and Ganon!

Come gather ’round people, wherever you roam…

It was April 1st, 2020 that this all began, with the inaugural Triforce Tournament Finals. At the time, it was Ganondorf Dragmire VS Sheik VS Link. Through the course of that match, it was revealed that “Sheik” was Princess Zelda! Certainly a surprise, but also very controversial thing, as the match was allowed to continue. Link would ultimately come away the Hero of Hyrule, but Zelda’s participation in the match ultimately opened the door to making the Triforce Championship an Open Division title!

Since that day, Link has been a THREE TIME HPW Triforce Champion, losing to Ganon, taking it back, and going on a saga against his own brother, Kage. He even overcame a story arc against Yunobo, culminating in a Last Man Standing match in October. In the background of that, Zelda would go on to dominate as HPW Goddess Champion for two YEARS! 730 days on top, overcoming every challenger, but eventually losing to Midna in a Winner Takes All match of Goddess and Death Mountain titles. Though speaking of Death Mountain, Zelda would capture that on her own, only to lose it back to Thunderbird after.

Ganon would become a Trios World Champion and then a Termina Champion, making him HPW’s first and only TRIPLE CROWN CHAMPION! At Clash of Fates, perhaps in a twist of fate, the Hyrule Warriors match ended in a double pinfall, sending both Princess of Hyrule and Gerudo Ace to the Celebration of Greatness. The Triforce truly forms again as power, wisdom and courage meet in one match! The three greatest stars in HPW’s sky, the pillars of this company, perhaps even this industry, will all fight to prove who is truly THE reigning, defending, undisputed HPW Triforce Champion of the World! Prepare for HyruleMania FIVE!

My Thoughts:

Not as epic as I was hoping to make this, but it still feels pretty good. The flow just works and there’s nowhere to really add more to it. That said, HyruleMania 5 publishes in just 30 minutes, hope you all enjoy it!
