Pete Rosenberg runs into H1M and quickly asks how he feels going into tonight’s Rumble. Melo feels locked in. It isn’t every day you get a chance to win the Rumble. His first was last year, he’s in his second, he’s locked in and ready to win. Melo Won’t Miss. Well, Pete can’t imagine Melo’s a huge crowd favorite with how he trashed Indy last night. Melo says he’s always a crowd favorite. Especially with Tyrese Halliburton. But what did Melo say? Where was the lie? Tyrese doesn’t put up numbers like Melo. On top of that, Tyrese didn’t make the All Star team. Pete, why you so close to him? Pete apologizes and moves on. But will Melo really hit the game winner, no matter what number he draws?
Exclusive interview with CM Punk.
Jackie Redmond sits down with the Second City Saint and brings up how he and the Rumble have become synonymous. 2014, that Rumble marked what a lot of people thought was the end of Punk’s time in WWE. Does he think about that? yes, actually, and he’s nervous talking about it. It was legit litigation. At one point, you weren’t allowed to say his name here. And Punk thinks that Rumble was a big part of that. And then last year, Punk’s return to the Rumble, but his triceps tear. What was goin on through his mind at the time? Well, he was fighting Cody and Gunther, and heartbreak.
Short term, he had a good 8 minute cry before calling his wife. What’d she say when the worst case scenario hit? Just to come home and they’d take care of it together. That’s what she does for him, she helps him, has his back. What was the silver lining of that moment? Was there one? More often than not, it is losing and that is the worst that can happen. But it also gives you perspective and teaches you where you’re going. Well, Jackie braces Punk, because she’s doing to ask about “The favor.” Punk says a lot of people have. Any chance Punk is willing to give any insight to this favor Paul Heyman owes him? Nope.
Jackie knew he would say that and it still bothers her. The follow-up is then “when?” No, because he doesn’t know when he’ll have to cash it in. Now, everyone thinks it is about someone else Heyman is close with, but we’ll have to see. Then what was his relationship with Heyman like while he was away? Did he have one? Punk says no, not really. They’d talk intermittently, but it was a tough time back then. When did that relationship come back? When did they go back to mending it? When Punk came back to the WWE. That’s how it is. Then what was his first interaction with Heyman? Just that long, uncomfortable hug.
Jackie brings us back to the beginning. Rumble last year was devastating, but what if all that training and preparing still doesn’t help him win this year? How would he feel coming up short again? Punk says he’s come up short every Rumble he’s done. He doesn’t know what it feels to win, he knows what it feels to lose, and it feels empty. But this business is a runaway freight train. There’s always next year, but also other roads to the top. This just feels like the one that bears fruit. Then what happens if he does win tonight and gets to point at the WrestleMania sign? He hadn’t really thought about it.
That is a scarier thought than losing, because he’s never felt it. What if he does win the Rumble? Great. What if he main events Mania? That has been his dream, and if he accomplishes it, maybe what he has for this business starts to fade. Maybe what makes Punk great is the constant hunger. The instant that static in Cult of Personality hits, he’ll be ready. That’s what he’s always been about. The Best in the World is as ready as he’ll ever be, but will he finally win the big one?

Cathy Kelley is with Der Ring General, and notes the star-studded Royal Rumble. Is there anyone Gunther is hoping wins tonight to face him at WrestleMania. Gunther says he doesn’t really need to keep an eye on the match. He knows that while this is packed with stars, whoever wins this Rumble will challenge Cody Rhodes. Cody is the easier opponent, Gunther is the bigger threat and the real test of passion. But overall, the Rumble is a spectacular match. Gunther holds the record for the longest lasting superstar of all time. It is a match that allows you to show your heart and accelerate your career.
Then if he isn’t worried about the challenger, is there anyone he sees lasting as long as he did in that match? Gunther says it’ll be the same thing as always: All the big egos will clash, there’s all the drama, and Gunther will excitedly watch that play out. Tonight, we find out who challenges Cody at WrestleMania. The World Heavyweight Champion heads out, but will someone surprise him when they choose to take on the “bigger threat?”

Cathy Kelley says The Hollywood A-Lister has been in 16 Rumbles yet only has two eliminations, how does he feel about his chances tonight? Try again, Cathy. Oh, okay, then what number did he pull? Wow, she thinks he’s going to tell us? Element of surprise, Cathy. No one has Miz picked for The Rumble, but no one had him as Mr. Money in the Bank, but he won it twice! No one had him for WWE Championship but he won it twice! No one had him in the main event of WrestleMania, but after tonight, Miz will be in it twice. Because let’s face it, when Miz is underestimated, that is when he is the biggest threat. Because he’s The Miz, and he’s AWESOME!
The Road to WrestleMania starts again.
And that very first step has always been a big one. Returns, debuts, incredible performances of speed and strength, and history being made time and again. For some, an exciting start to their legacy. Tiffany Stratton is the WWE Women’s Champion, Rhea Ripley is the Women’s World Champion, and Giulia is the NXT Women’s Champion. Those three are all targets for the 30 women that are about to step into the ring. Who will be taking aim and pointing at the sign here in Lucas Oil Stadium?
The first entry tonight is… IYO SKY! Indy fires up for the Evil Genius, but will she become the Iron Woman here tonight? Joining her on this journey as entry number two is… LIV MORGAN! The bell rings and we’re on the clock as the two stare down. The fans rally as they circle, and the two tie up. Liv knees low, fires more knees, then pushes Iyo down to headlock. Iyo powers up and out, but Liv runs her over! Liv does a dance, smiles, and fans cheer. Liv runs, Iyo stays low but then slips around to CLUB Liv! Iyo runs to FLIP over Liv’s back, then ducks ‘n’ dodges! Liv avoids the handspring but Iyo SHOTGUNS her down!
Iyo handsprings again just to show off, and the fans fire up! Iyo runs at Liv in the corner, but Liv pops her up and out! Liv ROCKS Iyo, kicks her, but Iyo grabs the foot! Iyo HOTSHOTS Liv’s foot and Liv hobbles away. Iyo springboards, Liv gets under then runs up, but no Oblivion here! Iyo DUMPS Liv to the apron! Liv holds on, kicks at Iyo, then RAMS into her! The inaugural Women’s Intercontinental Champion wants to reach higher heights, will entering the Rumble for the first time ever do that? Lyra ENZIGIRIS Liv, ENZIGIRIS Roxie, then dodges Liv to cartwheel and HEEL KICK! Iyo runs up but Lyra wrenches her! TORNADO DDT! Then she drags Iyo up to FISHERMAN BUSTER! The fans cheer and Lyra TOSSES Iyo up and out! Liv CLOBBERS Lyra!
Liv kicks at Iyo, Iyo grabs that foot, and Iyo ROCKS Liv into Roxie! Roxie goes after Liv, Liv kicks back, Lyra has a wardrobe malfunction while Liv KNEES Iyo and KICKS Roxie! Lyra is back, and she helps Liv DUMP Iyo! Roxie goes after Liv! Entry number five is here, and it’s… “Shh… It’s Chelsea Green~!” The Hot Mess Women’s US Champion is here, but she takes her time while the other four fight it out. Chelsea salutes herself, but then she realizes no one hit the floor. They all surround Chelsea, and they attack 4v1! The fans are torn, but then Liv DECKS Lyra and Roxie bumps Iyo off buckles. Number six is here, and it’s… B-FAB! Will she be fabulous on this Road to WrestleMania? B-Fab and Chelsea have beef, so Chelsea storms up, only for B-Fab to BOOT her! B-Fab rallies on Chelsea but then Lyra whips her. B-Fab reverses and LEG LARIATS! Liv runs up, B-Fab sends her into Lyra!
B-Fab UPPERCUTS Liv, then scoops her to SLAM her onto Lyra! Iyo rolls B-Fab, but B-Fab kicks low! B-Fab suplexes for ANARCHY! B-Fab drags Iyo up, sends her at ropes, but Iyo holds on! Iyo fights back, Chelsea and Roxie scrap in one corner, Lyra and Liv in the other. Liv stomps a mudhole, Chelsea talks trash to commentary, but here comes entry number 7! It’s… IVY NILE! The Diamond Pitbull is #AmericanMade, and she rushes right into the ring! SPINEBUSTER for Lyra! Ivy rains down forearms, a message for the champion she’s after! Ivy scoops Lyra, dumps her to the apron, but then Iyo is after Ivy!
Ivy switches with Iyo to GERMAN SUPLEX! Then she GERMAN SUPLEXES Liv! Chelsea hooks Ivy’s arms but Ivy turns that into a waistlock! Chelsea grabs Roxie, Ivy DOUBLE GERMAN SUPLEXES! #SuplexIvy stands tall but fans are torn. Lyra kicks Ivy in return! Lyra bumps Ivy off buckles, Liv is after Chelsea, Iyo has B-Fab. Roxie is the odd one out but she uses that to rest under the bottom rope. Liv & Iyo work together on B-Fab, but entry number 8 is… ZOEY STARK! Pure Fusion Collective’s Sniper is here, could she earn a golden ticket home to Las Vegas? She slingshots up and over Liv, sends Iyo into her, then HALF NELSON SUPLEXES Iyo!
Zoey KNEES Liv, SUPERKICKS B-Fab, kicks Ivy and underhooks her, for ATAXIA! Zoey kips up, fires up, but Chelsea TOSSES her! Zoey stays on the apron to ENZIGIRI! Then she goes up, up, and FLYING BLOCKBUSTERS! Zoey drags Iyo up, throws her at the ropes, but Iyo holds onto the ropes to headscissor in return! Iyo almost has Zoey up and over but Zoey fights free. Lash kips up, then FLAPJACKS Zoey onto Lyra! The fans cheer as Lash points to the sign, but here comes Ivy! Lash catches her, swings her into Iyo, then into everyone else! Lash then brings Ivy up, and POWERBOMBS her down! Roxie goes after Zoey but B-Fab CLUBS Lash! B-Fab talks trash, but Lash ROCKS her! They fire forearms and the fans fire up! Maxxine fireman’s carries Ivy, DUMPS her out, but Ivy fights back! HEEL KICK and Ivy falls! Maxxine ELIMINATES Ivy! But PFC DUMPS Maxxine and ELIMINATES her! The fans boo but PFC high-fives. Entry 15 is here, and it’s… NAOMI! Time for the Rumble to Feel The Glow! Naomi hurries to help Bianca! She ROUNDHOUSES Sonya, HEEL KICKS SHayna, then RAMS into Zoey! APRON HEATSEEKER for Zoey!

Chelsea apologizes, but here comes entry 17. It’s… PIPER NIVEN! And not a moment too soon! The Secret Her-vice Agent makes her way out while Chelsea slips under the bottom rope. Bianca & Naomi watch each other’s backs while waiting on Chelsea. Chelsea shouts for Piper but the ramp is so long! Naomi & Bianca attack but Chelsea fights them off! Piper hurries in, she and Chelsea stare down the tag champs. Chelsea hides under the bottom rope while Piper fights! She scoops Naomi, SLAMS her, but Bianca jumps on! Cody drops to his knees and Kevin stomps him! Kevin CHOKES Cody, then traps him under the ladder! Kevin climbs, but Cody bench presses the ladder away! Kevin hops down, stomps Cody more, and Cody makes the ladder fall over. Kevin stalks Cody to the outside, and Kevin kicks Cody away. Kevin then storms after Cody, but Cody goes looking under the ring. Cody brings out yet another ladder, but Kevin sends Cody into barriers! Kevin then sends Cody into steel steps! Cody hobbles while Kevin takes ownership of the newest ladder. Kevin puts it in the ring, but Cody follows. Cody snap suplexes Kevin onto the ladder!
Both men are down and writhing, but then Cody rises up. Cody stands the newest ladder up, and he hurries to climb! Kevin hurries to anchor Cody, but Cody stomps Kevin! Cody busts a rung off the ladder?! Kevin takes aim but Cody JAMS him up first! Cody CLUBS away on Kevin, then winds up, only for Kevin to SUPERKICK him! Kevin then waits on Cody to rise before he JABS! JABS! JABS! Flip, Flop, and RUNG ATTACK!! Kevin parodies Dusty just to be his usual sinister self! Kevin looms over Cody, stands on his hand, then drags him up by an ear. RUNG ATTACK!! Cody falls against ropes, but Kevin CHOKES him!
Kevin lets off, though he doesn’t have to, and he sends Cody into the ladder! The ladder falls over with Cody, but Kevin clears some space. Kevin sits the ladder on its side, but Cody fires hands! Kevin sends Cody into the corner, then CHUCKS the little ladder into him! Kevin goes out, looks under the ring, and he brings out another ladder! This makes five, maybe six if you count the little one. Kevin brings number six into the ring, puts it along the ropes, and then he goes back for Cody. Kevin brings Cody over and shouts, “I’M THE CHAMP!” Kevin fireman’s carries, but Cody slips free! Kevin ROCKS Cody, then ROCKS him again!
Kevin tucks Cody in, aims for his other ladder, but Cody BACKDROPS Kevin onto the sideways ladder! That wedge hits Kevin right in the back and the fans lose their minds! Cody hobbles over, stands that ladder up, and he climbs again. But Kevin grabs a foot! Cody kicks Kevin away, climbs a little more, but Kevin is back again. Cody keeps kicking free, but Kevin gets under Cody and drags him off the ladder! POWEROMB on the corner ladder!!! The fans lose their minds all over again after that brutal landing! Cody clutches the back of his head but his arm might’ve also taken damage. Even so, “This is Awesome!”
Kevin goes back to the ladder, he climbs it, but Cody rises! The fans fire up as Cody anchors Kevin’s feet! Kevin is more annoyed than anything, and he steps down to ROCK Cody! Kevin sends Cody into the corner, then pushes him down. That corner ladder becomes a new bridge between center and ropes. Kevin then storms up on Cody, brings him back around, and sends him into that ladder from before! Then Kevin ROCKS Cody, and makes him rest back on the ladder bridge. Kevin says it didn’t have to be this way. Kevin goes up the corner, but Cody attacks! Cody fires hands, climbs up, then lines up the shot.
Cody goes to the very top, but Kevin fires body shots! Kevin SUPER FISHERMAN BUSTERS Cody onto the ladder bridge!!! Cody bounces right off the ladder, but Kevin took just as bad of a landing! The fans are losing their minds, the refs are checking both men, and now Nick Aldis hurries out here with producers and spare refs. Did Kevin just take Cody and himself out? Wait, Sami Zayn is here! Sami is Cody’s friend, and he’s still Kevin’s friend, so he is worried for both men. Sami checks Kevin first, then he checks Cody. It’s a little awkward with the ladders all in the way. Kevin stands, but then he stumbles and drops to his knees.
Kevin stands again, his anger keeps him moving if nothing else! And he stands Cody up! Kevin kicks low, but Cody stops the stunner! CROSS RHODES!! Kevin flounders out of the ring, but he anchors Cody’s foot! Cody kicks free, goes for the center ladder, but Kevin grabs the foot again! Cody goes out after Kevin to SMACK him off the desk! Cody DRIBBLES Kevin off the desk, finding new life and a second gear! Cody POSTS Kevin, the fans fire up, and Kevin is busted open! Cody huffs ‘n’ puffs again, and he watches Kevin get up. Cody fires haymakers on that bloody eyebrow, then he gets right in Kevin’s face!
Cody shouts that this is what Kevin wanted, so he rains down fists of fury! The fans are thunderous as Cody now stands on the desk. Cody brings Kevin up, throws more hands, but Kevin LOW BLOWS!!! Cody sputters, but Kevin brings him around, and tucks him in!! The fans freak out, but Cody fights the piledriver! Cody Alabama Lifts Kevin, to ALABAMA SLAM Kevin through the ladder bridge!!! Everyone loses their minds, Sami shouts for medics, but Cody goes to the ring! Cody climbs, reaches out, and grabs the hanger! Cody brings each belt off the hanger, and wins!
Winner: Cody Rhodes (still Undisputed WWE Champion)
Kevin pushed Cody’s buttons, pushed him to his limits, and perhaps Cody is the one who snapped! Either way, Cody survives and holds onto both belts that represent this one championship! Will the American Nightmare be more than ready for whoever comes for him at WrestleMania? As for Kevin, the medics move him from the wreckage, is there no way he can #JustKeepFighting now?

Either way, there can only be one, so who is it heading to the main event of WrestleMania 41?
Entry number one is… REY MYSTERIO! The King of Lucha once ran the table as entry two, can he do it again but better? Entry number two is… PENTAGON!? The Rumble starts with #CeroMiedo, but will either of these great luchadores, past and future, make it to the end?
The bell rings and even Rey applauds. Penta takes a moment to revel in the moment, and then he and Rey shake hands. The fans cheer again, but then Penta doesn’t let go. Penta says sorry, but CERO! MIEDO! Rey says okay, but he says SIX, ONE, NINE! The forearms fly, Rey whips, but Penta reverses. Rey KCIKS Penta, runs and rolls, but then RANAS Penta! They both end up on the apron, both get in, and Penta wags his finger. Rey runs in, Penta pops him up to SUPERKICK! Penta runs up, Rey GAMANGIRIS in return! Rey goes up, FLYING RA- NO! Paul Heyman and Roman raise their ones, the pyro goes off, and then Heyman holds onto the ula fala. Roman storms into the ring while everyone else is down, SPEAR for Miz! Then he TOSSES and ELIMINATES Miz! Sheamus runs up, Roman dodges to SPEAR! LARIAT and Sheamus is out, Roman ELIMINATES Sheamus!

And Jacob loses his mind in rage!! Braun says Jacob won’t stop him until he KILLS him! Jacob throws chairs, but McIntyre & Finn mug Braun! Styles joins in, they all beat up on the #OneBigSOB! Entry 23 is here, and it’s… JOHN CENA! This is Cena’s last time in the Rumble, and he made sure to wear Colts colors! Will his time still be now? Cena slides in, and he fireman’s carries Braun!?
Braun fights free, runs u, but Cena DUMPS Braun out to ELIMINATE him! But then Finn DUMPS Cena! Cena holds on, then he fireman’s carries Finn! ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT onto Braun! Cena ELIMINATES Finn! Roman SPEARS McIntyre! And now Roman stares down Cena. Cena finally takes off his shirt, but entry 24 is here. It’s… C M PUNK!! The stars are coming out now and Indy is loving it! Punk said it earlier tonight, he’s never won the Rumble, but could this be his time? Cena and Roman watch Punk get in the ring, and the fans are losing their minds all over again! Cena sure likes it! The fans get red hot, but now entry 25 is here! It’s… SETH ROLLINS!
Roman is even more annoyed and Cena is even more excited! Punk is not happy, but neither is The Visionary! The fans sing along, “WHOA~ OH~ OHH~!” Rollins slides in, and he goes after Punk! Cena and Roman brawl and the fans fire up! Punk turns things around on Rollins, McIntyre goes after Punk! Styles and Jey go after each other as the odd men out, as it were, and “This is Awesome!” McIntyre and Rollins work together on Punk, Cena fights off Roman, and Styles CHOPS Jey! Rollins fires hands on McIntyre to LARIAT, but McIntyre doesn’t go up and out! Punk goes after Rollins, Cena and Styles meet again, and the fans rally.
Roman goes after McIntyre, Rollins is after Jey, Jey lifts Rollins, Punk actually helps Roman against McIntyre! Entry 26 is here, and it’s… DOMINIK MYSTERIO! Dirty Dom sure picked a hell of a time to enter. The fans boo as loud as they can for Dom, which is more than all the cheering we got just before! Dom goes up the corner, and he FROG SPLASHES Cena!! Dom flexes, then he gets Roman! Dom hits Latino Heat before he- NO, Roman blocks the suplex! Roman fireman’s carries to SAMOAN DROP! Rollins and Punk fight, Roman asks Dom what he was even thinking. Styles goes after McIntyre, Dom offers Roman a handshake, but Roman DECKS him for it!
Entry 27 is here, and it’s… SAMI ZAYN! The Underdog from the Underground didn’t help Kevin win the ladder match so he’s all on his own here. Sami hits a HELLUVA KICK on McIntyre! Then HELLUVA KICK for Rollins! Cena fights Jey off, Sami fires hands on Punk, but Punk fires hands in return! Cena HEADBUTTS Dom, Sami stomps Punk down! Styles stomps Jey, Sami hoists Punk up. Rollins goes after Sami, Styles joins in, McIntyre stomps Punk. Jey SUPERKICKS Styles! Sami and Jey are on the same page, they go after McIntyre, but entry 28 is here. It’s… DAMIAN PRIEST! The Punisher ROUNDHOUSES McIntyre!
Priest bumps McIntyre off buckles, then knuckle locks before going Old School with the CROSSBODY! SUPERKICK for Sami! LARIAT for Rollins! ELBOW for Cena, ELBOW for Roman! Styles fireman’s carries Priest but Priest slips free to BELL CLAP, and SPINNING ROUNDHOUSE! But Dom DROPKICKS Priest! Dom dials it up, but Priest sends him SOUTH OF HEAVEN! Then Priest TOSSES Dom and ELIMINATES him! Punk fires hands on Priest but Priest hits back! They brawl, Sami has Styles, Cena is after McIntyre, but entry 29 is here! It’s… L A KNIGHT! YEAH!! The fans fire up for the Mega Star as he rushes to the ring.
Knight hops up a corner, and he spells it out! “L! A! KNIGHT!” DOUBLE JUMP ELBOW on Cena! Then Knight shoves Styles to hit a JUMPING NECKBREAKER! Jey fires hands but Knight fires back! “YEET! YEAH!” and repeat! Knight gets the edge, but Jey dodges to fire shots in return! Jey pops, locks, puts some stank on it, but Knight dodge! SIDE EFFECT! The fans fire up, Priest tries to dump McIntyre, and Knight stomps Roman. Sami CLOBBERS Knight, then he helps Roman to his feet. The Bloodline sticks together, but McIntyre CLOBBERS them both! McIntyre TOSSES Sami, but Sami holds on!
McIntyre kicks at Sami, Jey storms up, but McIntyre ELBOWS Jey! Jey aims, McIntyre dodges, SUPERKICK hits Sami! Jey ELIMINATES Sami by complete accident! McIntyre grins, then he GLASGOW KISS HEADBUTTS Jey! McIntyre then HEADBUTTS Priest! Entry 30 is finally here, and it’s… LOGAN PAUL!? The Maverick gets the best spot possible and the fans boo him for it. Well, they probably boo Logan because he’s Logan. Logan swaggers his way up, ROCKS Rollins, then BUCKSHOTS Rollins and Styles!! Logan soaks up the heat, but Jey runs up. Logan kicks Jey to FISHERMAN SCREW!
Logan fires up, but an old rival is here. Knight waits on Logan, and DECKS him! Jey & Priest SHOVE McIntyre out to ELIMINATE him!! Priest just added himself to McIntyre’s hit list! Styles & Rollins both stomp away on Logan, Roman is after Knight, but Knight fights free. Punk stomps Logan, Styles pushes him aside to stomp Logan! Knight pushes Styles aside to fireman’s carry Logan and head for ropes! Rollins goes after Punk, Logan fights Knight off, but Knight ROCKS Logan! Knight tries to scrape Logan off the apron but Logan LEAPS to the desk!! Logan is still in this and he grins. The fans boo, but then Priest ROUNDHOUSES Knight!
Priest runs, Knight ducks another kick to B F T! Knight LARIATS Priest up and out to ELIMINATE him! Logan taunts Knight while he’s safe on the desk. Knight stomps away on Rollins, Styles stomps Punk, Roman goes after Styles. Knight KNEES Rollins int he corner, but Styles DUMPS and ELIMINATES Knight! That’s an old rivalry there. Punk goes after Styles while Logan hops from desk to barriers. Logan thinks about it, and he goes from barrier to steps! Styles is on the apron, Logan sneaks up on him! Logan YANKS Styles down and ELIMINATES him! The fans boo but Logan grins. Logan steps inside, and he realizes he’s part of the final six!
Logan, Rollins, Punk, Cena, Roman and Jey are all wary of each other. Roman goes after Logan, Punk is after Rollins, so Cena and Jey brawl it out! The fans rally as things go back and forth in all cases! Logan then goes after Punk, but Punk fireman’s carries! GO TO SLEEP!! Logan is down, but Rollins SUPERKICKS Punk! Jey SUPER- NO, Rollins blocks to PEDIGREE Jey! Cena fireman’s carries Rollins! Roman SUPERMAN PUNCHES Cena! Rollins hits a CURB STOMP on Cena, then he CURB STOMPS Punk!! Rollins then sees Roman in the corner, Indy fires up as The Shield meets again. Rollins and Roman stare down, and the fans fire up more!
Rollins and Roman each shake their head, each with their own reasons for hating the other. “This is Awesome!” “WHOA~ OH~ OHH~!” Rollins tells Roman he’s never getting another main event or a world title! They poke at each other, they shove each other, and the hands start flying! Rollins JABS, Roman UPPERCUTS! Rollins JABS, HAYMAKERS, but Roman UPPERCUTS! Rollins dodges Roman, mule kicks, then runs, but no curb stomp! But Rollins catches the Superman punch to underhook! Roman fireman’s carries, goes for ropes, but Rollins kicks around! They go to the other side, Rollins tries to headscissors Roman out!
Roman shoves Rollins, Rollins SUPERKICKS! And SUPERKICKS again! Rollins fires up, runs up, but Roman ducks! Roman LARIATS Rollins! Rollins clings to ropes! Punk sneaks in to DUMP Roman and Rollins to ELIMINATE them both!! But then Logan DUMPS Punk and ELIMINATES him!! The fans boo as Logan, Cena and Jey are the final three! Roman is pissed with Punk, but Rollins CURB STOMPS Roman on the floor! Then Rollins and Punk go after each other!! They brawl all over, even as refs try to stop them! SUPERKICK from Rollins to Punk!! Rollins is pissed at Heyman but Heyman says Rollins did the damage!
But wait, Rollins runs at Roman, CURB STOMP onto the steel steps!! The Visionary has snapped, and he still wants after Punk! Punk goes after Rollins, refs pull these two apart, so Punk goes back to Heyman and Roman. Punk leaves them behind, and we turn our attention back to the ring. Logan, Jey and Cena all rise up, and Indy is going wild for “YEET! YEET! YEET!” Logan and Jey stand first, and Jey says, “YEET!” The hands fly, Logan ROCKS Jey, but Jey ROCKS Logan! Logan ROCKS Jey again! Jey ROCKS Logan again! Jey eggs Logan on but Logan ROCKS Jey! The hands keep going, Jey rebounds, and he kicks!
Logan blocks, spins Jey, but the DRAGON WHIP hits! The fans fire up as Logan staggers around, and Jey runs at Cena! Cena dodges Jey, then waits on Logan. Logan staggers into Cena’s kick, Cena sends him into Jey! Cena ELBOWS both men, and then that look on his face lets fans know what he’s thinking! Cena double fireman’s carries Jey and Logan! Jey slips free, SUPERKICKS Logan, so Cena LARIATS Logan up and out to ELIMINATE him!! It’s just Cena and Jey!! Cena wants his historic 17th world title, Jey wants his first, and this is going to be the difference between those dreams! The fans are thunderous but also torn!
Jey and Cena step up, the fans duel, “Let’s Go, Cena!” “CENA SUCKS!” Feels like old times for Cena, but Jey fires a haymaker! Cena fires back! The shots go back and forth, “YAY! YEET!” Cena kicks, body shots, and HEADBUTTS, but that hurts Cena! Cena still ducks ‘n’ dodges to start up the SHOULDER TACKLES! Then the SPIN OUT BOMB! The fans fire up and Cena says for one last time at The Rumble, “YOU CAN’T SEE ME!” Cena runs, for a FIVE KNUCKLE SHUFFLE! Jey flounders, sputters, and Cena waits on him. Fireman’s carry, but Jey slips free to SUPERKICK! Cena goes to ropes, Jey hurries to lift him up!
Cena holds onto the ropes, kicks free, then runs up, but into a SUPERKICK! Cena goes to a corner, Jey storms up and hoists Cena up! Cena clings to the top rope, BOOTS Jey away, then runs up! Jey dodges, then SPEARS!! Both men are down and the fans fire up! The fans rally as Jey and Cena stir. Jey waits on Cena, brings him around to whip, but Cena reverses! Jey ends up on the apron, but he holds onto ropes! Cena runs up, but Jey DUMPS Cena! Now they’re both on the apron! They fight to get in but they each stop the other! The fans rally as Jey and Cena throw hands again! “YEET! YAY!” and repeat!
Jey ROCKS Cena, Cena ROCKS Jey, and then Jey SUPERKICKS! Cena wobbles, but he holds on with one hand! Jey storms up, but Cena fireman’s carries! But Jey fights into the ring, SHOVES Cena down, and JEY WINS!!!
Winner: Jey Uso (2025 Men’s Royal Rumble Winner)
Cena is stunned that he lost, but then he storms back into the ring to look Jey in the eye. Cena then HUGS Jey to show him respect, and to let him know that he earned what he truly deserves! Cena raises Jey’s hand in victory, and now Jey is going to WrestleMania! Will Jey choose Gunther? Will he choose Cody? And in the end, will he truly be Main Event Jey Uso? But until then, Indy YEETS with Jey!
My Thoughts:
An awesome Royal Rumble event, maybe one of my favorites in some time. I just don’t think we need two hour “countdown shows,” especially if there’s not a match. The promos are all good, and it’s fun for WWE to show what they do with and for the city they visit, but maybe I just need to skip them from now on since they’re always free on YouTube anyway. I hope the countdown shows are also reduced for two-night events like this year’s WrestleMania and SummerSlam since they don’t need to hype up everything all on one night.
The Women’s Rumble was a great opener, and a lot of great surprise entries. A lot more NXT entries than I thought, but what great showings for them all. This is probably just me personally, but Nikki as 30th seems underwhelming when they also had Alexa Bliss returning, but I suppose they just wanted Alexa to get her time in the meat of the match before it all starts wrapping up. Liv and Iyo were good choices to start, they and Roxie set some new records in terms of time in the Rumble, and then Nia got a lot of eliminations to stand alone as most eliminations in a Women’s Rumble by one woman.
As for the winner, Charlotte was making her return tonight, and honestly, she wasn’t going to do anything but win the Rumble, so why complain? The question is, are they going to run back Charlotte VS Rhea? Or are we getting something fresh like Charlotte VS Tiffany? I’m thinking Charlotte VS Tiffany, that is the SmackDown title, Charlotte’s husband, Andrade, is on SmackDown, Charlotte’s vignettes were on SmackDown, she’s returning to SmackDown. This leaves Rhea open to facing just about anyone on Raw, whether that be Bayley, Iyo, or whoever else they want. Jordynne Grace would be a great choice now that she’s fully in WWE but has yet to formally join a brand.
In them talking up the Best 2 Out of 3 Falls, all the WWE commentary people were talking up how DIY and MCMG were cardio machines with energy to spare. And yet, they surprisingly made that thing a fast ‘n’ furious match to show how those two teams can do the “cruiserweight style” to the max. The formula was pretty standard, though, with them splitting the first two falls, but I was very surprised The Profits screwed over MCMG. I guess they feel MCMG shouldn’t win the titles they were meant to have, and that they want to win those titles off DIY because of how DIY screwed them before. Either way, I feel like something big is coming for these tag titles.
Cody VS Kevin was a great ladder match, but one of WWE’s scarier ones. Actually, maybe one of the scarier ones period. For just a moment, I really thought that Fisherman Buster on the ladder legitimately ended things. But it did give Sami a good reason for coming out there, but I guess they chose not to go with Sami’s Heel turn. Sami really could’ve run up there to stop Cody, but Kevin selling just how bad that Alabama Slam through the ladder was is very powerful for his own story. No title for Kevin, no title match for Sami, maybe they go another round on the way to WrestleMania.
The Men’s Rumble was awesome. Rey and Penta starting was a great choice, but they did some risky stuff there. I do feel like both of Penta’s feet touched at some point, but WWE doesn’t use instant replay for results, so he gets away with it. Gable getting to take on the luchadores but then also Otis was good stuff, too. IShowSpeed was a silly choice but whatever, WWE hyped him being in attendance and streaming stuff, he’s been a good sport, so yeah, he got fed to Bron for fun. This is WWE wanting to bridge the gap to the more “mainstream” audience and the “young people,” so at least they did it as a “substitute” when Tozawa got taken out by an angry Melo.
Jacob being eliminated by Braun was wild, but so was Braun being here at all. Those two could easily do one more big match that destroys the ring or destroys stage props. Joe Hendry showing up was great, but I’m surprised not even one male NXT superstar was involved. But I really liked that part in the latter half where the action stopped because even the superstars were anticipating the star power coming in. Roman, Cena, Punk, Rollins, that itself could’ve been a great Final 4, but they were smart to do that early. We got great stuff from Roman and Rollins, and then Punk dumping them out only for Logan to do that to Punk was great, too, namely for the wild brawl that followed.
I feel like if Rollins, Punk and Roman aren’t fighting for a title at Mania, that should be some kind of Triple Threat on Mania. I could see Elimination Chamber give us those three and a few others fighting for either a title shot or for a title itself, aka the World Heavyweight Championship so that Gunther faces his biggest challenge yet. Or who knows, maybe Cody steps into the Chamber. Or both? They can always do just all Chamber matches on that card, for all the top titles to tease changes to the WrestleMania card. Jey and Cena being the final two is such a great thing in itself, being a generational showdown.
Cena losing here was a bit surprising, but it was also like a torch being passed. I would think this leads to Jey VS Gunther for one last showdown for the world title, and if that’s the case, I would think Jey finally wins over Gunther. As for Cena, he could easily pivot to the Undisputed WWE Championship, which is of course THE championship, Cena can fight in his last Chamber match to earn that title opportunity, and Cody VS Cena would make for a great program in itself.

We are just DAYS away from WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, and all the stars are shining tonight in Sacramento! But given the tension, is that a good idea or a bad idea?

Even Pat McAfee called Punk out on being a fraud. “What’d I say? Embarrassing.”
Roman admits he likes Pat, he really does. But never in the world has a punter ran his mouth to Roman. No one believes in Punk, it’s not 2012 anymore. The Tribal Chief doesn’t lie. That’s why everyone believes in him and trusts him. Tonight, Roman gives Punk one last opportunity: Either Punk tells the truth, or Roman will. “This message has been approved by Your Tribal Chief.”
Triple H and Adam Pearce are in the ring.
The Raw General Manager welcomes us to Monday Night Raw, and says that in order to make sure this match makes it to WrestleMania, Pearce has decided that the contract will be signed separately. But then “Ladies and gentlemen…” Paul Heyman walks out, makes his introductions, and says that for once in his life, Adam Pearce is correct! You damn right they’ll sign separately, because now it is Fight Week! That means no one needs to even get CLOSE to the Beast, BRRROCK! LESNAR!! With that, Sacramento cheers as Lesnar himself makes his entrance, pyro and all.
Lesnar & Heyman go to the ring, and Lesnar takes the pen to sign on the dotted line. No time wasted as Lesnar even tips his cap to HHH and Pearce. The fans cheer Lesnar, and Heyman says there we go. History made, contract signed, and it may as well be a death warrant with one man’s name across the bottom of it. The fans already cheer for “O~BA! HOOT!” Heyman frowns, but he says he is glad- OH, Lesnar takes the mic! “You wont’ even know his name after this weekend!”
Lesnar hands the mic back, and Heyman says this is what it boils down to. Sunday, in the REAL main event of WrestleMania, this is not a prediction, this is a spoiler: There is going to be a winner, there is going to be a loser. This Sunday, at WrestleMania, the loser’s name will be OBA, FEMI! The fans boo, but Heyman says the rumors that there can handle The Beast, the winner will be the greatest combat sports athlete ever, The Conqueror, BRRROCK! LESNARRR!! Lesnar & Heyman leave, but will Oba’s response be with actions, not words?
IShowSpeed starts training.
Austin Theory & Logan Paul meet up with him and ask if he’s ready. He says he’s not a pro-wrestler, this is his first match, and it’s at WrestleMania! Logan asks what Speed is saying. It doesn’t matter! Doubt looks disgusting on him! He’s a phenom! He IS IShowSpeed! Time to lock in! Grandest Stage of Them All! Think about it: The Usos are no longer WWE World Tag Team Champions, because of Speed; LA Knight got hit by those brass knuckles by Speed. They’re out to get him! If he thought being thrown into his computer was bad, it’ll be way worse. Lock in! Everyone hates Speed, except The Vision!
The Vision has Speed’s back, so time for Speed to have their back! Lock in! Let’s get this bread! Show of Shows! Speed says okay, let’s do it. The training montage begins, Logan & Theory coaching Speed through the drills. They tell Speed to tie up like you mean it! Speed does the scoops, the jumps, and even a suplex. Speed even goes the extra mile with a Boston Crab! Logan & Theory like it! Speed has locked in, but will he get shut down to start WrestleMania Saturday?

The Queen helped “Blisster” sneak one on Bayley last Friday Night SmackDown, but now she must face The Morrigan! Will The Daughter of the Dirtiest Player in the Game have some more tricks up her proverbial sleeve? Or will Lyra make sure there’s a Change of Fortune before WrestleMania in Vegas?
Raw returns as Lyra makes her entrance, Bayley by her side. The bell rings and the fans rally as the two circle. The fans “WOO~” for Charlotte but Lyra brushes that off. The two tie up, are in a deadlock, but Lyra headlocks for a takeover. Charlotte slips through to get a leg, but Lyra kicks her away. The fans cheer, Lyra headlocks for another takeover, but Charlotte headscissors. The fans rally up, Lyra moves around, and Lyra handstands to walk free! The fans “WHEW~!” for Lyra but Charlotte kips up, and the fans “WOO~!” Charlotte then eggs Lyra on, dodges her, and waistlocks for the SLAM!
The fans cheer while Charlotte taunts Lyra. Lyra rises, runs up, but Charlotte dodges and runs to RUN Lyra over! Charlotte throws up the Four Horsewomen for Bayley, but Lyra gets up to pie face Charlotte! The fans rally, Charlotte gets mad, but Lyra still pie faces her! Charlotte CHOPS Lyra, but Lyra dodges the next to CROSSBODY! And WHEEL KICK! Cover, TWO! The fans cheer and Bayley coaches Lyra. Lyra whips Charlotte, Charlotte reverses, but Lyra goes up and over! Lyra runs up, Charlotte dodges, but Lyra BOOTS her! Charlotte GAMANGIRIS in return! Charlotte whips, Lyra reverses, but Charlotte goes up and out!
Charlotte BOOT- NO, Lyra blocks the leg and SWEEPS the other! Lyra then WRECKS Charlotte with the dropkick! The fans fire up with Lyra, she takes aim, but Charlotte avoids the plancha! Charlotte BOOTS Lyra down, the fans “WOO~,” and Raw goes to break.
Raw returns again as Charlotte stands tall, then steps on Lyra as she goes to the corner. Charlotte climbs up, but Lyra anchors a foot! Charlotte kicks Lyra away, adjusts, but Lyra YANKS her down! The fans rally as Lyra goes up, and PERIPETEIA!! Cover, TWO!! Charlotte survives the flying leg drop but Bayley coaches Lyra through. Lyra goes up the corner, the fans cheer, and she MOONSAULTS, but onto knees! Charlotte steps through but Lyra makes it a cradle, TWO! Charlotte escapes, but Lyra ENZIGIRIS! Charlotte staggers to the ropes, but she BOOTS in return! The fans rally again while Charlotte drags Lyra into the drop zone.

Asuka smirks as she tells Iyo that Rhea is not her problem, dummy. Last year, Iyo went into WrestleMania as Women’s World Champion. But this year, it’s just as “Rhea’s sidekick.” Iyo says she has had enough of this!
Iyo tells Kairi that she does NOT have to take this from Asuka! Asuka tells her to shut up! Asuka says Kairi is loyal to her senpai. And she’ll prove it tonight against IYO! Jimmy RAMS JC into the corner, he tags Jey, and Jey runs up to ROCK JC! Jey waits on JC, runs up and LARIATS him up and out! JC flops to the floor, Jimmy holds the ropes for Jey to FLY! Direct hit on JC at the ramp and the fans fire up!
Jey hurries back into the ring, he gets the fans to YEET, and Raw goes to break.
Raw returns again, and Solo has Jey down with a shoulder claw! The fans rally for Jey, he fights up, and he fires body shots! Jey ROCKS Solo, then ROCKS JC and Loa for good measure! Jey fires more hands, then runs, but Solo CLOBBERS him! The fans boo but Solo BLASTS Jimmy! Solo mocks Knight by spelling it out, then he drags Jey up. Solo taunts Knight, but he blocks Jey’s kick! Only to get the DRAGON WHIP! The fans fire up while both men are down, and they both crawl, hot tags to Knight and Loa! The fans fire up as Knight rallies on Loa & JC with a LAIRAT, a BIG back suplex, then a TOSS!
The fans cheer as Knight waves by to JC, but Loa scoops! Knight slips free to REVERSE DDT! Knight rolls back to his feet and goes to the corner! The fans join in as Knight spells it out, “L! A! Raw returns with Gunther in the ring, mic in hand. The fans boo but Gunther just soaks it all up with a laugh. But then SETH ROLLINS rushes the ring! Rollins TACKLES Gunther and the scrap is on! The fans cheer as Rollins takes the fight to Gunther, but Gunther bails out of the ring! Rollins throws off the jacket, grabs the mic, and shouts, “Two weeks in a row, you’ve jumped me! That’s your receipt, Gunther! And in six nights at WrestleMania, I finish the job!” The fans cheer that! Rollins says Gunther thinks this is personal for him.
If that’s the truth and not just Gunther kissing Heyman’s ass for a favor, then be a man and walk back into the ring, look Rollins in the eye, and tell him why he wants to fight Rollins! The fans cheer but Gunther hesitates. Gunther tells Rollins off in German, but then he storms back down to ringside. The fans sing “WHOA~ OH~ OHH~!” for Rollins while Gunther grabs a new mic. Gunther gets right in Rollins’ face and tells him, “Yeah, sure, Seth. I am solving Heyman’s problem, and I’ll do it with a smile on my face, because you are pissing me off!” For years, Rollins strutted around like he’s the best when in reality, he’s NOT, GUNTHER IS!
And if Rollins were honest with himself, he never wanted to find out! Because when Gunther was World Heavyweight Champion, seeking out the highest level of competition, Rollins became a useful idiot for Heyman! So at WrestleMania, it IS personal! Gunther is setting the record straight as he shows Rollins can’t lace Gunther’s boots! The forearms fly again and the fans fire up! Rollins fires more shots, but Gunther KNEES low! Gunther reels Rollins in, but Rollins slips free to BOOT Gunther down! Gunther bails out again! But then Rollins lines up a shot, only for Gunther to avoid the Curb Stomp!
Gunther runs away into the crowd, Rollins’ eyes locked on him like a hawk! Rollins goes back to the ring to stand on the corner, and the fans all sing “WHOA~ OH~ OHH~!” Rollins and Gunther finally have it out, but who will #BurnItDown in Las Vegas?

Dirty Dom complains that not only does Pearce give that deadbeat dad, Rey Mysterio, a chance at Dom’s Intercontinental Championship in that ladder match, and now Dom has to face THE DEMON at WrestleMania?! Finn Balor swore The Demon was dead, so that doesn’t even make any sense! The contract was for Dom VS Finn, not a demon! This is not fair, cancel the match. Does all Dom do is complain? First of all, Rey is a WWE Hall of Famer, he deserves to be in a title match like that at WrestleMania.
And if we wanna talk Dom VS Demon, when Dom goes back to the clubhouse, he should stop in front of the first mirror there is and stare right into the face looking back at him. Dom will hopefully see one of two things: One, Rey does deserve this match; and when it comes to Finn, Dom is getting what he deserves. Have a great night. Dom says that’s not fair! Pearce welcomes out Brock Lesnar’s WrestleMania opponent, The Ruler, Oba Femi! The fans cheer as “O~BA!” indeed struts his way to the ring. Oba takes the contract and the pen, signs his part, then takes the mic. But HHH points to the stage, because Heyman has reappeared. The fans continue to chant for “O~BA!” Heyman says he’s been in this industry for his entire life, and he has never, ever seen someone come across to the audience as the biggest star as fast as Oba Femi.
And being in the industry his entire life, Heyman knows where he is safe and where he is not, for Oba is a violent man. Heyman will stay here on stage, if that’s okay with Oba. But being the violent man Oba is, he is the most violent person to come into the WWE since… Well, Brock Lesnar! Oba is the fastest rising star in the WWE since Brock Lesnar. Oba is the most impressive athlete, most impressive fighter, most impressive combat athlete. The fans chant more, but Heyman says they’re starting to piss him off. But the fact of the matter is, on Sunday, this all comes to an end.
On Sunday, everything that Oba has built comes crashing down! It comes crashing down in Suplex City, it comes crashing down with an F5, it comes crashing down when Oba is conquered by BRRROCK LESNARRR! The chants just get louder, but Heyman says there is no shame in a loss like this. There is nothing but pride, because Oba is in the real main event of WrestleMania! And when you get conquered, and by God you will be conquered by Brock Lesnar… Heyman gives Oba his word, that when Oba needs to rebuild after WrestleMania, Heyman’s door will always be open to Oba Femi.
The fans boo, but Oba says, “Paul, it’s taking everything in me to not come down that ramp and beat you pillar to post.” The fans cheer for that! They even chant, “BEAT HIS ASS!” Oba says it is deeper than that. The physical pain and scars will heal. If Oba beats Heyman up, the physical will heal. But the emotional wounds from Oba beating The Beast will last forever! The fans cheer again, and Oba says as far as that door, go ahead and close it. The only door Oba needs open is already open, and that is the door to WrestleMania!
Because two months ago, Heyman and his Beast issued an Open Challenge to whoever dared to step up, without even caring who would. And why would Heyman? Because there has been 25 years of history that says Lesnar cannot be beat. But Oba has four weeks of history that says Lesnar absolutely can! And this has never been personal, it is all just business. But this time, it is different! Heyman can feel it, Oba can feel it, the fans can feel it! It is time to put an end to The Beast! Heyman’s been there the whole way, has been Lesnar’s friend, Advocate, mouthpiece, and a good one at that. But he’s never been an honest one!
The fans chant for Oba again, and Oba says if Heyman were honest, he would’ve come out here and said, “Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman, and my client, Brock Lesnar, is SCARED of Oba Femi! He is AFRAID of Oba Femi!” Because this is The Ruler, the Bringer of War, the Mountain You Cannot Conquer, and at WrestleMania, Oba will slay the Beast, because he is THE ONE! The fans fire up again, and Oba says he IS the one. He knows it, the fans know it, and at WrestleMania, Heyman will know it, too! Heyman seems forlorn. But is it for Lesnar? The Raw GM says it doesn’t get any bigger! The Greatest of All Time, JOHN CENA, hosting WrestleMania 42! Yeah, that’s huge! But then Danhausen interrupts. Is that him? Him who? John Cena. Speaking of which, Danhausen would like to address his demandhausens. Since Danhausen is undefeated at 1-0 and surely a future Hall of Famer, some referring to him as the Uberest of All Time, Danhausen demands to speak with Mr. Cena. No, not happening. But since Cena is hosting WrestleMania, Danhausen can talk to him there, surely Cena will be delighted for that. Now, if you’ll excuse Pearce, he has to finish this call.
Danhausen hopes he can see Cena, since you can’t see me. Pearce says he needs a drink. He ends his call, but then Danhausen is gone. Maybe we really can’t see Danhausen… But is WrestleMania about to be cursed?
Roman Reigns heads to the ring!
Sacramento cheers, raising their ones to the sky for the OTC! Roman gave CM Punk the ultimatum to open the show, how will the WWE World Heavyweight Champion choose to close the show? We’re going to find out, after the break.
Raw returns as Roman stands in the ring. He raises his finger to the sky and gets the pyro. Roman then grabs a mic, and the fans chant “O T C! O T C!” Roman takes a moment while the fans duel between “Roman, Roman Reigns~!” and “C M PUNK! C M PUNK!” The “O T C! O T C!” takes over, and Roman nods before saying, “Sacramento…! ACKNOWLEDGE ME!” The fans cheer, but then CM Punk makes his entrance after all! The fans cheer all the same, and they even sing along with Cult of Personality. Roman waits, but Punk doesn’t come out from the stage! He’s in the crowd!
Roman realizes this, and he watches Punk make his way down, high-fiving fans as he goes. Punk eventually reaches ringside, and he smiles as he sees Roman’s eyes are locked on him. Punk steps up onto the desk, shows off the Sacramento Kings colored merch shirt, and says, “After watching the cold open, what amounts to a political smear campaign put together I assume by yourself, I’ve come out here to tell the truth. And I’m gonna have the people of Sacramento be my witnesses, and Roman, you can be the judge, the jury, and the executioner. So, as I tell my story, as I tell my truth, tell me when I’m telling lies.”
Punk hops off the desk, but Roman tells him if he steps into the ring, they won’t need these mics. Punk still walks up the steel steps, goes to the apron, and he stares Roman down while the fans continue dueling chants. Punk says he thought about this over the last few weeks. He hates Roman, because he envies Roman. “This is all I ever wanted. This is the only dream I had in my heart since I was a little kid. And I envy the fact that it was handed to you. And I hate that you were champion for 1,316 days. Because after some self-reflection, I hate that I know how hard you worked your ass off to be that great.
“In the history books, in the future, when they talk about legacy, they’re not gonna ask how, they’re gonna ask how many. And I hate that number, 1316. I hate the amount of times you’ve main-evented WrestleMania. Tell me when I’m telling lies, Roman. Have I lied? I hate that I envy, I hate that I feel this way. Sika was a great man. The fans are a bit torn over that, but now Punk steps into the ring, steps closer to Roman, and Punk says, “I hate that there’s more than one royal family in professional wrestling. And I hate that I envy the fact that I wasn’t born into a dynasty. I don’t know what having that kind of family is like. CM Punk was born in the backyards, avenues, and alleyways of Chicago. I was a misfit who had to find my own family, and I found my family in the streets of Sacramento.
“I found my family in the locker rooms of every VFW Hall or Knights of Columbus, or in dilapidated, burned out, Midwest barns, Fireside Bowl bowling alleys, abandoned churches. I found my family and my people on the indies, and I conquered the indies, and then I went to Japan. I went to England, I went to Puerto Rico, I went all around the world twice. I wasn’t handed anything, I wasn’t born on third base with a silver spoon. I busted my ass, and I made pro-wrestling my home, and I made them my family.” The fans cheer all that, too!
Punk says he hates that he feels this way, that he has to share any of it with Roman, especially the fact that it’s his first singles match headlining WrestleMania. Tell him when he’s telling lies. Punk says on April 19th, he has gold on his shoes, gold around his waist, and later that night, after the desert sun has set and the dry air gets cold with steam rising off his beat up, bloody face, he’ll have gold above his head. The ring announcer will be saying, “AND STILL Heavyweight Champion of the World,” with Las Vegas chanting, “C! M! PUNK!” The fans duel again while Roman starts to get anxious.
Punk says again, “Tell me when I’m telling lies.” Roman says that’s the truest stuff he’s ever heard Punk say. Until the end. Roman will tell Punk some truths. Roman hates Punk, too. Roman has hated Punk for a long time. But the main reason is because of Punk’s relationship with all the fans. Roman hopes he can get to the point where when he leaves, the fans all miss him as much as they missed Punk. That one day, when Roman leaves, they chant for Roman for ten years straight. That’s the truest thing Punk has, it’s the connection with the fans, and no one can ever take that from him.
But on Sunday, that is Punk’s truth, but it is not the reality. The reality is that time is up. Punk had two months and he did nothing with it! On Sunday, it ain’t #AndStill, it is #AndNEW! This nostalgia act experiment is done. On Sunday, they fix the mess Punk started. On Sunday, they make this place where they had it: at the very top, worth every single dollar! On Sunday, Tribal Chief takes over, and Punk will ACKNOWLEDGE HIM! Roman and Punk stare down while the fans chant for them both. Raw goes off the air, but who wins the most important match of all at WrestleMania?
My Thoughts:
A very good go-home episode of Raw, though it couldn’t quite escape the Go Home Syndrome. Very good promo from Roman to call out Punk, and a very good segment from them both to end the show, but they already maxed out the heat so there wasn’t much they could add. On the flipside, really good stuff with Vaquer’s interview promo turning into a brawl with Liv. They turned up the heat again, which I didn’t think was possible, and those two are gonna tear each other apart. Kudos to Cathy Kelley for taking that bump, too.
Rollins and Gunther had a good brawl that then turned into a promo that then turned back into a brawl, but I don’t know if it really explained why this was “personal.” Gunther might dislike Rollins being flamboyant and all, but this is still just to get the eventual match with Lesnar. Speaking of Lesnar, very good stuff with him, Heyman, and Oba Femi. Heyman does great on the mic as always, but Oba held his own, especially for only being in pro-wrestling for just a couple years. I would really hope Oba does win at Mania, especially with it opening WrestleMania Sunday, which they’re making sure to have air even on “ESPN proper,” the cable channel! The most eyes on that match possible, and WWE better make the right move.
Very good matches to send some people to Mania with momentum, though the Women’s Tag Division is missing some fire given Nikki Bella is still a game day decision. Charlotte VS Lyra was a very good match all the same, with Bayley cheating Charlotte back for what happened on Friday. No idea where the math lands on that, but that makes the Fatal 4 Way tag a lot of fun. Meanwhile, Rusev clearly go-home-mathed himself out of winning the Intercontinental title after he destroyed all five other men in that ladder match. To me, it’ll either be Rey Mysterio winning or Penta retaining, and we can have something just as fun for Backlash.
Very good interaction from Knight, Usos and MFT, though MFT showing up was literally just so they could do this Six Man Tag and have a team lose to Knight & Usos. Well, they did add to the MFT dysfunction so there is that. It might be a bit obvious, but someone is likely leaving MFT this Friday during that Street Fight. The obvious move is Tama being exiled, but I would love if Tama got his literal brothers, Talla & Loa, on his side to exile Solo. Good montage from IShowSpeed with Logan & Theory, but this is still wrestling tropes/cliche where Speed doesn’t just apologize and wash his hands of this. Either Speed should ditch Vision, or Vision ditches Speed.
We finally got some better stuff with Rhea and Jade, but that was only because it joined the Iyo-Kairi-Asuka triangle here on Raw. It’d be a little last minute, but #RheYo VS Kabuki Warriors could be a good go-home match on SmackDown to see how Rhea looks going into her match with Jade. The Iyo-Kairi-Asuka triangle can also continue with a proper build going towards Backlash.

The bell rings and the fans rally up already. The two talk trash, then they run up to fire hands! Marina whips Windsor to the corner, but Windsor BOOTS her back! Windsor runs up and LARIATS Marina down! The fans fire up while Marina bails out. Windsor goes to the apron, CANNONBALLS to the floor, and the fans cheer that goal! Windsor puts Marina in the ring, CLOBBERS Marina, then rains down fists! The fans rally behind Windsor and she clinches for a RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP, then SLIDING- NO, Marina blocks the lariat into an ARMBAR! Windsor clasps hands, fights around, and high stacks, TWO!
Marina keeps hold of the arm, breaks the grip, but Windsor hurries to stack again! TWO and Marina lets Windsor go. The two go to corners, but Marina runs up, only for Windsor to put Marina on the apron. Marina ROCKS Windsor, then catches her into a HANGING ARMBAR! The ref reprimands while the fans are torn, but Marina lets go at 4. Marina then trips Windsor, brings her outside, and scuffs her with a kick. Marina drags Windsor up, whips her into railing, and Windsor flops to the floor! The fans rally while Marina refreshes the ring count. Marina steps on Windsor, taunts the fans, but the ref counts.
Marina steps off at 4, drags Windsor back up, and puts her in the ring. Marina stalks Windsor but Windsor fires body shots! Marina KICKS Windsor, then looms over her. Marina grabs an arm, wrenches and SAYANAGIS! The fans rally for Windsor but Marina drags her up again. SAYANAGI! Marina smirks as she steps on Windsor’s face! The fans boo and the ref reprimands but Marina steps off. Marina clamps onto Windsor for a full nelson, but Windsor fights up, only for Marina to SAYANAGI again! The fans rally for Windsor as she up kicks at Marina. Marina storms up on Windsor, whips corner to corner hard, and Windsor falls down.
Marina whips Windsor corner to corner again, then runs up, but Windsor dodges! Marina’s foot hits buckles and she falls to the apron, then the floor. Marina clutches a toe but manages to slide into the ring. Marina grabs Windsor’s foot but Windsor kicks at her. Marina cartwheels through and clamps on with a chinbar. Marina talks trash on Windsor for being “cheeky,” then whips her corner to corner. Windsor comes back to CLOBBER Marina! The fans fire up as Windsor keeps moving, redirects Marina, and RUNS her over again! The fans rally as Windsor ducks ‘n’ dodges and redirects again, FLYING SHOULDER TACKLE!
The fans rally while both women are down. Windsor rises and the fans fire up again! Windsor grabs Marina’s legs, steps through, but Windsor fights the Sharpshooter to have a TRIANGLE HOLD! They roll, Marina has a cover, TWO! Marina runs up, clinches, and URENAGES! Cover, TWO! Windsor survives but Marina clamps on again with a KIMURA! The fans boo but Windsor endures. Will Davis refill the family’s treasury with this gold? Or will Dynasty be all about that Tarzan Life?
The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and we see if Jack can stay golden!
The bell rings and the fans rally up for Jack. Davis and Jack tie up, and Davis THROWS Jack to a corner! The fans rally, Jack says okay, hold on, and he resets with Davis. Jack slips around, headlocks, but Davis powers up and out to then CLOBBER Jack! Jack flounders away and asks for another breather. The fans rally as Jack comes back, dodges Davis, and KICKS, KICKS, and CHOPS! Jack shoves, Davis shoves back, but Jack flips up and over Davis to then DROPKICK him out! The fans fire up as Jack aims, PLANCHAS, but Davis catches Jack! The fans fire up as Davis pops Jack up and brings him around the way, only for Jack to POST Davis first!
The fans fire up as Jack then uses the post to swing and DROPKICK Davis again! The fans cheer as Jack shoves Davis into the ring. Jack HOTSHOTS Davis, goes up top, but Davis snatches Jack for the ROCKET LAUNCHER! Jack tumbles away but Davis digs his forearms into Jack! Davis runs to SLIDING FOREARM! Jack sputters in the corner while Davis snarls. Davis drags Jack to center, kneeling cover, TWO! Cocky as it was, it almost kept Jack down. Davis kicks Jack around, scoops and SLAMS, then he SENTONS on top! Davis pushes Jack to a cover, TWO! Davis clamps onto Jack with a chinlock, and even digs his knee in.
The fans rally as Jack endures, and Jack fights up to fire body shots. Davis KNEES low, then whips Jack to ropes. Jack ducks the boot, then JAWBREAKERS back! Davis runs up but Jack DUMPS him out! Jack then goes up, up, and ARIHARA MOONSAULTS! Down goes Davis and the fans fire up with Jack! Jack high-fives some fans, drags Davis up and brings him around. Jack shoves Davis into the ring, the fans rally up, and Jack climbs again. But Davis grabs Jack again! Davis climbs up this time, but Jack SLAPS and CHOPS Davis! Then he CLAWS Davis’s eyes before he HEADBUTTS Davis down! Then Jack DIVING-
NO, Jack has to roll through as Davis dodges! Jack ELBOWS Davis, ROLLING ELBOWS, then hits SLICED BREAD! Cover, TWO! The fans rally as Davis survives. Jack nods and he brings Davis up. The fans rally, Jack reels Davis in, but Davis is too hefty for that! Jack CLUBS away on Davis, and he still tries! Jack lifts Davis, but Davis powers up to BACKDROP Jack out! Davis runs and BLASTS Jack off apron and into railing! Jack slumps down but the fans rally again. Davis goes out to fetch Jack, brings him around, and puts him on the apron. The ring count climbs, Davis stands Jack up, and he suplexes for an APRON FALCON ARROW!!
The fans lose their minds while Jack dangles off the apron! Davis shoves Jack in the ring, covers, TWO!! The fans cheer as Jack somehow survives! Davis is furious, and he short arm LARIATS! Cover, TWO! Davis gut wrenches but Jack grabs a leg! The fans rally but Davis fires knees into Jack. Davis CHOP LARIATS Jack down! The fans boo but Davis hauls Jack back up! Gut wrench and- NO, Jack slips free! Then he tilt-o-whirls, but Davis manages to throw Jack down! COUNT TO- DDT!! Jack turns things around and the fans fire up again! Jack roars, the fans are with him, and Jack still lifts Davis?!? PILEDRIVER!! Cover, TWO!!
The fans can’t believe it and neither can Jack! Davis is just tougher than they think! Jack goes to the corner, and he says time for a sacrifice! GLASS- NO, Davis stops the knee! Megan storms around, then runs corner to corner, but Hyan goes up! Hyan RANAS Megan away, then goes up the corner! Hyan leaps to CROSSBODY! Cover, ONE!! Megan is tougher than that but Hyan keeps on her. Megan fights the back suplex, throws elbows, then bumps Hyan off buckles. Tag to Lena, but Hyan BOOTS Megan! Megan CHOPS Hyan down, BLASTS Maya, and Lena Electric Chair SLAMS Hyan off the apron! The Divine Dominion soak up cheers and jeers before Lena puts Hyan back in. Lena drags Hyan up, whips her to the corner, then stomps away! The ref counts, even as Lena digs her boots in!
The fans are torn as Lena stops to tag in Megan. Megan stands Hyan up, RAMS into her again and again, then stops at 4. Megan CHOPS Hyan, tags Lena, and SPLASHES Hyan! Megan BUTTERFLY PLEXES Hyan, and Lena SLIDING LARIATS! Cover, TWO! Lena mocks Maya by holding Hyan’s hand out to her, then CLUBS her down! Lena whips Hyan to the corner, LARIATS, then ELBOWS! Tag to Megan and Lena runs side to side, BOOT! Megan adds a BOOT! Then a GERMAN SUPLEX! Hyan flounders but Megan covers, TWO! Megan drags Hyan over, puts her in the corner, and she fires clubbing shots from all sides!
The ref counts, Megan tags Lena, and Lena brings Hyan around. Hyan fires body shots, Lena CLUBS her, then Lena soaks up the heat. Lena whips Hyan, but Hyan BOOTS her! The fans fire up as Hyan and Lena stagger, but Megan tags in! Megan runs up on Hyan, but Hyan DUMPS Megan out! Hyan hurries for her corner, but Megan runs to BLAST Maya! The fans boo, but Megan whips Hyan back into the Divine corner. Megan CHOPS Hyan, runs up, but into a BOOT! Hyan ELBOWS Lena away, then she dodges Megan to POST her! Megan and Hyan are both down while the fans rally up! Megan and Hyan crawl, hot tags to Lena and Maya!
The fans fire up as Maya ducks under, UP KICKS, then SOBATS and BOOTS! Lena just scowls, but Maya ducks ‘n’ dodges to tilt-o-whirl RANA Lena to a corner! Maya UPPERCUTS, whips, but Lena reverses! Maya goes up, up, and MISSILE DROPKICKS! Maya handsprings up and the fans cheer her on! Maya runs in and BACK BODY BLOCKS! Megan runs up but is sent into Lena! Maya BACK BODY BLOCKS again, then tags Hyan! Hyan tunes up, roars and runs around the world for a KNEE! Maya goes up, BLOCKBUSTER LEG SWEEP COMBO! Cover, TWO! Lena survives but Hyan coordinates with Maya.
Hyan tags Maya, they get Lena up again, and Maya runs, only for Lena to ELBOW Hyan, BOOT Maya, and HOOK KICK Hyan! Tag to Megan and she brings Maya up. Maya JAWBREAKERS, then she and Hyan double whip! Megan reverses, kicks Maya, and fireman’s carries Hyan! Maya jumps on but Megan just adds her to it! FALL AWAY SLAM SAMOAN DROP COMBO! The fire up again, and Megan LEAPING LARIATS! Cover, TWO! Tag to Lena and Divine Dominion get Maya up. But Hyan with the save! Lena ROCKS Hyan, Megan TOSSES Hyan aside, then they get Maya again! DIVINE- DOUBLE DDT COUNTER!!
The fans fire up while all four women are down! Maya hurries to tag Hyan back in, and they run up on the champs to DOUBLE DROPKICK! The Divine Dominion tumble outside, and Maya holds the ropes open for Hyan! Hyan DIVES through the five hole to take out Divine Dominion! Then she sets them back up so Maya can ASAI MOONSAULT! Down they go again! The fans are thunderous while Hyan & Maya put Lena in. But Lena wrenches and BOOTS Hyan! Hyan ROCKS Lena! Then she counter punches again and again and again! Hyan CHOPS, runs, but into the BOOT! Lena reels Hyan into the fireman’s carry, but Hyan fights free!

Cash SPITS at Cope, so the fists start flying! Dax and Christian join in! The fans fire up as C&C have the edge, but Dax bails out! Cope ROCKS Cash, smothers him in the corner, then stops. Cope puts Cash on the ropes, CHOKES him, but stops to run and CROSSBODY! Cope tags Christian while the fans sing O Canada. Cope whips Cash, then scoops, and Christian adds on, REVERSE DDT SIDEWALK SLAM COMBO! Cover, TWO! The fans cheer their Canadian patriotism while Christian CHOPS Cash!
Christian brings Cash around, tags Cope, and they mug Cash. The fans rally as Cope whips Cash, but Cash grabs ropes! Cash bails out, the fans boo, but Cope pursues. Cope CLOBBERS Cash, but Dax runs up! Cope DECKS Dax, then whips Cash hard into railing! Cash falls in a heap, but Dax returns! Cope ROCKS Dax, DECKS him again, then brings Cash around to THROW back into railing! Stokely is worried but Cope drags Cash up. Cope puts Cash in the ring, RAMS him, but Dax is back. Cope DECKS Dax, but Cash ROCKS Cope! Cash has Cope in the ropes, gives a nod to the camera, DRAPING DDT! Cash smiles as he strikes like a Viper!
Cash stomps away on Cope, tags Dax, and they put Cope on the apron. FTR get the legs for the ROPE GUILLOTINE! Stoke talks trash while Dax BOOTS Cope! The fans boo but FTR soak up the heat. Cash BOOTS Cope, Dax drags Cope in, and Dax CHOPS Cope in the corner. The fans rally as Cope ROCKS Dax! Dax CHOPS back, but Cope fires hands! Dax kicks and snapmares Cope to grind him down with the chinlock. Cope endures, fights up, and fights up. Dax brings Cope around, but Cope hits a BIG back suplex! Both men are down, the fans fire up again, but Dax crawls to hot tag Cash. Cash runs up on Cope, but Cope dodges!
Cash’s dropkick crashes ‘n’ burns in the corner, but Cash manages to anchor a foot. Cope kicks free, hot tags to Dax and Christian! The fans fire up as Christian rallies on FTR! Christian CHOKES Dax on the ropes, then kicks Cash to add him on! The ref counts but the fans cheer as Christian CHOKES FTR! Christian BITES Dax’s forehead, then he sends Cash into him. Christian climbs up in the corner and rains down fists on them both! The fans count along, Christian goes past TEN to TWENTY, because that’s ten for each! Christian dragon sleepers Cash, then REVERSE DDTS to duck Dax! Dax grabs Christian, Christian grabs the ref, and Christian sneaks a LOW BLOW!
Stokely protests but the fans cheer, and Christian LARIATS Dax up and out! Cash runs up, but Christian DUMPS Cash out to join Dax! Christian climbs, he flips off Stoke, and he SUPER CROSSBODIES FTR down! The fans fire up again while Stoke freaks out. Christian puts Dax in, but Cash grabs him in the corner! Dax runs up, but Christian dodges! Dax nocks Cash down, Christian rolls Dax, TWO! Christian hooks the arms, but Dax breaks free! Dax CHOPS, JABS, then YUKON LARIATS! The fans boo but Stokely applauds as Dax looms over Christian. Dax scuffs Christian, drags him up, and he hooks the arms!
Christian fights to turn things around on Dax, KILLSWITCH! Cover, but Cash breaks it! Christian snatches Cash at the ropes, but Cash HOTSHOTS the bad arm! The fans boo and the ref reprimands, but Cash whips Christian into railing! Cash leaves Christian behind, soaks up the heat, and he tags himself in. Cash goes out to SMACK Christian’s bad arm off the railing! And then he swings Christian into the corner, and he SLAMS the bad arm into the post! The fans boo but Stoke likes what he sees! Cash drags Christian back to the corner, the fans taunt FTR about Christian and their moms, but Cash SLAMS the bad arm into the post again!
Dax talks trash on the fans, Stoke flexes like he’s doing something, and Cash tags Dax in. Dax has Christian’s arm and SLAMS it off the desk! The fans boo, the ring count climbs, but Dax asks Christian how it feels. Dax SMASHES the arm off the desk again! Dax puts Christian in so he can stomp away on the arm! Dax drops a leg on the arm, then taunts Cope. The fans boo more but Dax drags Christian up. Dax RAMS Christian into the corner, tags Cash, and FTR mugs Christian! The fans boo, the ref counts, but Cash snapmares Cash for a top wristlock. Christian endures as Cash puts on the pressure, and the fans rally up.
Christian fights up, even as Cash holds him back. Cash CLUBS Christian, reels him in, but Christian BACKDROPS free! Cash hurries, hot tag to Dax! Dax BLASTS Cope off the apron! Then DDT on Christian! Cover, TWO! Dax argues the count but the count was fair. Dax drags Christian up, whips him to the corner, then CHOPS! Dax hoists Christian up top, and Cash climbs the other corner. Christian fights the suplex, fires body shots, but Cash runs up! Christian BOOTS Cash down, then BITES Dax’s forehead! Christian shoves Dax down, then DIVING HEADBUTTS! Christian and Dax stir, but the standing count climbs while the fans rally up.
Christian reaches out, Dax anchors a leg, but Christian hops, hops, and CLAWS Dax’s face! Hot tag to Cope! The fans fire up as Cope goes up, up, and FLYING LARIATS! Then he CLOBBERS Cash! Cope rains down fists, but Dax storms up, Cope atomic drops, whips, but Dax reverses! Cope dodges to BLAST Cash! Then he HOTSHOTS Dax, runs, and- NO, Dax sends the spear into the ropes! Dax reels Cope in, but Cope wrenches through to IMPALER DDT! Cover, TWO! Dax survives but Stoke is still frustrated on FTR’s behalf. Cope puts Dax up top, fires hands, and Christian climbs the corner! The fans fire up as Cope hits the SUPERPLEX!
That was the Power, Christian DIVING BODY PRESS onto KNEES! Cash dives in, but onto Cope’s KNEES! No glory just yet but the fans fire up all the same! Dax LARIATS Christian up and out, then runs up on Cope. Cope dodges, Dax LARIATS Cash up and out! Cope trips Dax, steps through, COPE-O-SETIC! Dax endures as Cope drags him from the ropes and puts on the pressure! Dax digs deep, but Cope clamps on with a CROSSFACE! Stokely is stunned, but Cash crawls in! Christian jumps on him for a CROSSFACE!! The fans are thunderous as FTR endures, but Cash BITES the bad arm! Then he hauls Christian up to SLAM him onto Cope!
The fans boo but FTR is still in this! Christian flounders out of the ring, the standing count is on Cope and Dax, but Cash grabs a title belt?! The fans boo as Cash sneaks it over. The ref sees that, but Christian grabs the belt, too! They tug-o-war, but Cope rolls Dax up! TWO, BELT SHOT!!! Dax hurries to cover, TWO?!?! The fans are thunderous but FTR is furious! Cash CLOBBERS Christian, then he and Dax slap Christian around. Shove and SHATTER- NO, Cope NECKBREAKERS Cash! Christian slips free, shoves, and Cope helps hit the 3D!! Cover, TWO!! Cope, the crimson mask thick already, is shocked as that didn’t finish this!
The ref checks Cope, he seems alright to continue, and Cope reels Dax in. But Stoke YANKS Christian from the apron! The fans boo, Cope chases Stoke, and they go into the ring! FTR is there for SHATTER MACHINE!! Cover, but Christian hurries to SHOVE Stoke into the ring! And just enough that Stoke bumps into Dax! The fans cheer as Dax now gets upset with Stoke! The fans tell Stoke he done messed up, but Stoke says the ref is to blame for not watching Christian! Stoke shoves the ref, the ref SHOVES Stoke! And he SMACKS Dax! COPE SPEARS DAX!! Cover, Cash CLOBBERS Cope! And then PILEDRIVER!!
The ref reprimands but Cash bails out. Now Cash grabs a chair and brings it over! But Christian snatches that, too! Cash wants Christian to show mercy, but then Stoke grabs the chair?! Christian SHOVES Stoke into the post, but then Cash POSTS Christian! Cash TOSSES Christian into the timekeeper’s area! Cash calls to Dax, they regroup, and they have Cope all to themselves! The fans cheer Cope on, and Cope stands up to throw hands! The fans fire up as Cope fights 2v1, but then he slows down! Dax kicks low, then he and Cash fire SUPERKICK after SUPERKICK, taunting The Young Bucks, too! DOUBLE SUPERKICKS!
FTR drags Cope up, F T R TRIGGER misses! Cope then runs to DOUBLE SPEAR!! The fans are thunderous as everyone is down! Stokely is losing his mind over this, but he coaches FTR to get back in this. Cope goes to a corner, he rises up again, and the fans cheer him on! Cope runs up, but Cash sunset flips the spear! Cope rolls through, but stands up into SHATTER MACHINE!! Cover, FTR WINS!

Stokely cheers as FTR foil the revenge of Cope & Christian! Cash almost mockingly thanks Cope for this match, then he flips off Vancouver. If FTR found a way to overcome C&C, will anyone in AEW ever dethrone them? Or will FTR be the Top Guys then, now, and forever?

Ciampa and Rush tie up, break, and they go again. Ciampa pulls hair but Rush turns things around. They go along the ropes, into a corner, and Rush pie faces. Ciampa shoves, Rush shoves, and the fans fire up. Ciampa pie faces again, but Rush fires a forearm! Ciampa fires back, and Rush talks trash. The forearms fly again, and the fans fire up as they go back and forth! Ciampa kicks low, headlocks, but Rush powers up and out. Ciampa ROCKS Rush!
Ciampa eggs Rush on, Rush runs, and Rush ROCKS Ciampa! Rush eggs Ciampa on now, Ciampa runs up and ROCKS Rush! Rush CHOPS, Ciampa CHOPS, and repeat! The CHOPS go back and forth, then Rush gets the edge! Rush runs but Ciampa reels him in for another CHOP! Ciampa CHOPS, CHOPS, CHOPS, then runs, but Rush blows past him to CHOP! And CHOP! Ciampa runs up, Rush dodges, and Rush DECKS Ciampa! The fans fire up, and Rush puts Ciampa in a corner for stomps! The fans rally, Rush runs, but Rush feints the dropkick to BOOT Ciampa! Rush rolls back to tranquilo, but Ciampa grins as he stands back up.
Ciampa runs up and BOOTS Rush down! Ciampa stomps a mudhole into Rush, and he doesn’t have to stop because there are technically no disqualifications here! Ciampa runs to BOOT WASH! And now we add the third man, BANDIDO! The fans cheer as the Most Wanted ROH World Champion is now aiming for another belt! Bandido dodges Ciampa, shoves him to the apron, and BOOTS him! Bandido gets in and SUPERKICKS Rush! The fans cheer as Bandido then builds speed and FLIES out onto Ciampa! The fans fire up with Bandido as he goes back to the ring, and he runs up on Rush for another SUPERKICK!
The fans cheer Bandido on as he aims again. Bandido runs up to CANNONBALL Rush, a shoutout to Brody King! The fans bark with Bandido, then he drags Rush to the drop zone. Bandido goes right up top, takes him, and gives some Latino Heat! FROG SPLASH! Cover, Ciampa breaks it! Ciampa THROWS Bandido into buckles, then brings down the kneepads! But Bandido drop toeholds Ciampa! The fans fire up as Bandido deals the cards, but Rush DECKS him first! Rush goes out after his old rival and whips Bandido hard into railing! Rush THROWS Bandido into more railing, then stomps and KNEES away!
Rush fires hands, then pushes Bandido into the ring. The fans cheer while Rush storms in, and he brings Bandido around. Rush THROWS Bandido by his hair, then he CLAWS at the mask! The fans boo, the ref reprimands, but number four is here! It’s “Speedball” Mike Bailey! The fans cheer as Bailey DUMPS Rush out, then blocks a shot to GAMANGIRI Ciampa! Bailey springboards to ASAI MOONSAULT Rush! Then Bailey goes back up, bumps Ciampa off buckles, and climbs up top! MISSILE DROPKICK! Bailey kips up, the fans fire up, and Bailey SOBATS! AX KICKS! ROUNDHOUSE! Ciampa is down, Bailey RUNNING SHOOTING STARS! Cover, TWO!
Rush is back and he turns Bailey around to CHOP! Bailey nods and CHOPS in return! Rush puts some stank on the CHOP! Bailey CHOPS, Rush CHOPS, repeat! The fans “WOO~” with every CHOP, but the countdown is back! Rush DECKS Bailey, and number five is… CLØN! The Don Callis Family has been reeling, will the Corrupted Copy change things! SUPERKICK for Rush! Then Matrix PELE for Ciampa! Clon kips up, and he peels away the visor so we can see the madness in his eyes! Clon ROCKS Bandido, PENALTY KICKS Bailey, then cartwheels into the underhooks! Bandido fights free, but Clon blocks and trips Bandido, KICK and hook, KNEE STRIKE!
Clon then whips Bandido for a tilt-o-whirl LUMBAR CHECK! Cover, TWO!! Bandido survives, and the countdown is back already! Number six is… The Bastard, PAC! The fans fire up again as Pac storms in from the crowd, and he RAMS into Clon! Pac flips up and over, BOOTS Ciampa, then dodges Clon to SNAP GERMAN! Pac sees Bailey coming, and CORNER BELLY2BELLY SUPLEXES him! Pac BOOTS Bandido from the apron, goes up the corner, and he aims for an ARIHARA BLACK ARROW onto everyone! The fans lose their minds as Pac then goes back to the ring. Pac has Bailey 1v1 and the fans rally up.
Bailey and Pac circle, but Bandido is back! The fans fire up for Bandido, Bailey, and Pac, and Pac BOOTS Bailey! Bandido KNEES Pac, whips, but Pac reverses! Pac avoids the handspring attack to SUPERKCIK! Pac runs, but Bailey follows to RANA! Bandido returns to RANA Bailey! Pac blocks Bandido’s kick, sends it into Bailey, then SUPERKICKS! Pac runs, into DOUBLE SUPERKICKS! The fans are thunderous, and now number seven is… Daniel Garcia! Red Death gets to back up Pac, but he better hurry coming in from the crowd! Garcia talks trash the entire time, then he dodges Bailey’s plancha!
Garcia backslides Bandido, TWO! Garcia waistlocks, O’Conner Rolls, TWO! Garcia dodges Ciampa, rolls him up, TWO! OKLAHOMA ROLL, TWO! Ciampa scrambles, Garcia dodges, the LARIAT hits Bandido! Garcia TOSSES Ciampa, puts up the dukes, but says nope, no dancing for Vancouver., But Clone SUPERKICKS him! Clon suplexes but Garcia cradle counters! TWO and Clon has it! They roll, roll, roll, roll, roll, and it settles on Garcia, TWO!! Both men stagger up, Garcia guzels, Clon breaks free, but Garcia CHOPS! Clon roars but Garcia BOOTS! Pac returns and the Death Riders start the cycle of violence! LARIAT after UPPERCUT and repeat!
Garcia feeds Clon to the SOBAT, KICK, and BOOT! Garcia adds the SAIDO! The fans boo but Death Riders are fired up! The countdown is back, and number eight is… Anthony Bowens! The Pride of Professional Wrestling CLOBBERS Pac, clinches Garcia, and turns Garcia for a NECKBREAKER! Bandido is back, he dodges to whip, but Bowens goes up and over. Bowens hurdles, headlocks, but Bandido powers up and out. Bowens hurdles again to mule kick, front kick, and FAMOUSER! The fans fire up and throw up the scissor fingers, but Clon is back! Bowens wrenches Clon to torture rack, and SLAM! The fans fire up as Bowens then ducks Bailey’s kicks!
Bailey still BOOTS Bowens, but then Bowens dodges in the corner! Bowens blocks a boot, CLUBS the leg, KNEE JAMMER and DRAGON SCREW! Bowens stares Pac down and the fans rally up. Bowens talks trash on Pac, Pac fires forearms with Bowens, but Bowens gest the edge! Pac kicks low, then whips, but Bowens reverses. Bowens runs up, blocks boots, and he puts Pac in the corner! ENZIGIRI and SIDEWINDER! Cover, Ciampa breaks it! Rush and Ciampa mug Bowens, CHOKE him, then kick Bowens out. The countdown is back and number nine is… Kevin Knight! The fans cheer as The Jet is ready2fly!
Knight LEAPS over Rush to LARIAT Ciampa! The fans fire up, but then Rush DECKS Knight! Rush hoists Knight, back suplexes, but Knight lands out! Rush kicks, whips, but Knight uses the apron to go up and over! Bailey TRIANGLE MOONSAULTS Rush down! JetSpeed secret handshake, but then they spot the Death Riders. Garcia says what’s good with it, get in the ring! JetSpeed get in and they throw hands with Pac & Garcia! Pac & Garcia kick low, whip, but JetSpeed reverse to LARIAT them outside! Then DOUBLE PLANCHAS and down go the Death Riders! But now, JetSpeed are 1v1…
The fans cheer as Bailey and Knight stare down, but Garcia YANKS Knight from the apron! Garcia BLASTS Bailey, but Bowens fires off Rock, Paper, Scissors, SUPERKCIK! Cover, Rush KICKS Bowens in the side! And ROCKS him with a forearm! Rush HAMMERS and KNEES Bowens, argues with the ref, but the fans cheer “RUSH! RUSH!” Rush runs corner to corner, BULL’S HORNS! But then Clon DIVING DOUBLE STOMPS Rush! CIampa POP-UP PROJECT CIAMPA! Cover on Clon, but Bandido handsprings and deadlifts for BLACKJACK 21! Bridging cover, JETSPEED BREAKS IT! The fans are thunderous, and number 10 is… Wheeler Yuta!
The fans boo The Decoder as he hurries out here, making Death Riders three men strong! Yuta dodges and DECKS Knight, then dodges Bailey to DIVE onto Bowens! Yuta hurries up but Bailey FLIES! Down goes Yuta at the ramp! Garcia and Pac mug Bailey, Rush joins in, and Bandido TOSSES Clon out! Bandido GAMANGIRIS Clon, then builds speed to FLYING BLOCKBUSTER onto the cluster!! The fans go nuts as that’s basically a bowling strike! Knight goes up, up, but Ciampa CHOPS! Ciampa climbs up now, but Knight resists the lift! Ciampa goes to the very top, brings Knight up, and he SUPER DUPER PLEXES onto the cluster!!
The fans are going nuts, but then Pac puts Bailey in the ring! Pac makes sure Bailey is in the drop zone, for the BLACK ARROW!! Cover, CIAMPA KNEES PAC!! Cover on Pac, but Yuta YANKS Ciampa out! And THROWS him into railing! Garcia hurries to get Bailey’s legs, steps through, and DRAGONTAMER!! “This is Awesome!” as Bailey endures! Bailey crawls, reaches out, but Garcia drags him back!
