Toni Storm arrives backstage.

Luther accompanies the AEW Women’s World Champion, only for MERCEDES MONE to attack! The CEO wipes out the butler, SMACKS Toni off the road cases, and talks trash as she pulls Toni’s red jacket off her! Mone SMACKS Toni off more cases, laughs as she welcomes us all to Dynamite, and then drags Toni to the stage! Mone KICKS Toni, SMACKS her off the stage, then takes a mic from the ring staff before she SHOVES that guy down! Mone asks Toni, “You wanna play games, huh? Is this what you wanted? You wanted to embarrass me, you stupid little b*tch?! Well, let’s play!” Mone clamps on the STATEMENT MAKER!!

The fans boo as Mone makes Toni suffer! Toni kicks and flails but can’t get free! Mone tells Toni is just a stupid act, and she will never beat Mone! Refs rush out here, as does Christopher Daniels! Mone ignores them all, but then MINA SHIRAKAWA rushes out here! Mone runs from Mina and the fans cheer her on. Mina is pissed, but Mone tells them both, “Darling… Let the games begin!” The CEO leaves, the fans boo, but will Mone pay for escalating this feud?

The Young Bucks are on the tron.

Nicholas Jackson starts with, “Hear ye, hear ye, hear ye. ‘Tis your Founding Fathers, Matthew & Nicholas, your Executive Vice Presidents of AEW. Hey, Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland, you guys are teaming up in a tag match tonight. It’s in the second hour and-” Matt stops Nick there. He lets Nick know that Matt used their “backstage influence” to move that match up on the card. Matt hopes Ospreay & Swerve are prepared, because that match isn’t later tonight. It’s right now! So go ahead, guys, cue up Ospreay’s music. The fans are excited, but this is clearly an abuse of power just to mess with their enemies.

Blake Christian & Lee Johnson wait in the ring, this match being moved up on them as much as on Ospreay & Swerve. And whoa, here comes Ospreay as fast as he can, wrapping his wrists with tape! Can the Aerial Assassin & The Realest prove they’re always ready? Or will the Bucks serve them up on a silver platter to the Vanilla Babyface & Big Shotty?

Will Ospreay & Swerve Strickland w/ Prince Nana VS Blake Christian & Lee Johnson!

The teams sort out and Swerve starts against Lee. The fans rally as the two circle, and they tie up. Swerve wrenches and wrangles Lee with a wristlock, but Lee kips up and whips. Lee is back in but Ospreay TOSSES him back out! The fans fire up as Ospreay now PLANCHAS! Down goes Lee and Ospreay hurries back to the apron. Ospreay waits, but then the Young Bucks decide to come out here? Matt & Nick strut on stage, but Blake BOOTS Ospreay off the apron! Swerve runs in but Blake dodges to triangle jump DROPKICK!

The fans boo as Blake builds speed to FOSBURY TOPE! The fans boo but the Bucks approve, and Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Blake throws hands on Ospreay, puts him back in the ring, then puts him in the corner. Blake RAMS into Ospreay, digs his shoulder in, but stops as the ref counts. Tag to Lee and Lee stomps a mudhole into Ospreay. The Bucks get big armchairs to watch this from the stage as Lee stops. Lee drags Ospreay up, RAMS into him again and again, then snapmares to roll and SLIDING FOREARM! Cover, TWO! Lee drags Ospreay over, tags Blake, and they mug Ospreay, focusing on his arm. Blake keeps Ospreay from Swerve and puts him in an open corner. Blake wraps Ospreay’s arm around the ropes and pulls!

The ref reprimands and counts while Ospreay grabs at Blake’s hair. Blake YANKS Ospreay’s arm before he backs off. Ospreay comes back with JABS, but Blake kicks low. Blake CLUBS Ospreay and puts him in the corner. Blake fires body shots, then he digs his boots in. The ref counts, Blake stops, but Lee CHOKES Ospreay behind the ref’s back! Lee gets away with that and Blake brings Ospreay around. Blake CLUBS Ospreay’s bad arm, then steps over to HIP DROP it! Blake ROCKS Ospreay to a corner, then wrenches for a knuckle lock. Blake goes up a corner, flexes, and he tightrope walks with some swagger.

Blake reaches all the way to his corner and Dynamite returns to single picture. Blake says let’s keep it going, and he tightrope walks towards the other corner, for a FLYING ARM-DRAG! Then he fireman’s carries, ROLLING DEATH VALLEY! Sucker punch on Swerve! Lee hits a FROG SPLASH, Blake hits a 450 SPLASH! Cover, but Swerve breaks it! The fans cheer but the ref reprimands. The fans fire up as Swerve goes out, BOOTS Lee down, then goes up and in, somersault FLATLINER! Cover, TWO! The fans cheer and Swerve grins as he watches Blake sputter.

The Bucks are upset as Swerve half nelsons, but Blake slips out and under! Blake BOOTS, but he runs into a HIP TOSS! Lee has Swerve but Swerve uses the British Escape! Swerve then drops down, and Ospreay’s HIDDEN BLADE takes out Lee! The fans fire up and Swerve gator rolls Blake! Suplex, CHASING THE DRAGON!! Then the fans fire up even more for “Whose House?!” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” HOUSE CALL!! Cover, Swerve & Ospreay win!

Winners: Will Ospreay & Swerve Strickland, by pinfall

Ospreay & Swerve win the little game The Bucks tried to play, but now security rushes in to keep Swerve away from the EVPs. The fans boo while The Bucks taunt Swerve, but Ospreay tells Swerve they can do this another time. Swerve grabs a mic to say, “Year after year after year, not only me but the rest of us have to deal with this bull crap from these EVPs right here!” The fans boo but Nick says Swerve needs to shut up. Swerve says after the incredible year AEW has been having, this is the last time Swerve wants to deal with The Bucks. “So how about I… WE do something about it?” Ospreay says he’s in!

Swerve says he is The Franchise, Ospreay is The Feeling! The Most Dangerous Man & The Aerial Assassin challenge The Young Bucks to a match! And Swerve knows just the place to do it! Swerve looks up at the poster and says, “ALL IN!!” The fans fire up for that! Ospreay says, “YES, BRUV!” Ospreay isn’t sure about Swerve and Seattle, but Ospreay wants to up the stakes a bit! Ospreay says they do have to give it up to The Bucks, they are the Founding Fathers of AEW. But AEW exists because of the fans that supported them! And tell Ospreay if he’s wrong, but he’s pretty sure we’re all done with the power that the Bucks keep abusing!

The fans cheer but The Bucks are getting mad! Ospreay says The Bucks have done more harm than good, so they need to be stripped of that power! Ospreay says at All In, they need to put the titles of being EVP on the line! The fans love that idea but the Bucks are livid! They push their way forward through security and referees, only for Swerve to SUPER KILL STOMP!! Swerve wipes out the whole pile, but The Bucks narrowly avoided disaster! Swerve chucks one of the chairs at them as they go running! Swerve & Ospreay have Seattle feeling electric! Will Matt & Nick risk losing their authority? Or will The Bucks prove they’re really just weasels?

The Young Bucks regroup backstage.

Nick tells Swerve he is a dumbass! Does Swerve not realize what he’s just done? Matt says that trick he just played…! Yeah, Swerve really IS stupid. Per the AEW employee handbook, Swerve “put his hands” on an AEW official! The ref going down in that pile means Swerve is SUSPENDED WITHOUT PAY! Get Swerve’s ass outta the building! But in steps Kazuchika Okada. The Rainmaker calms The Bucks down and introduces his new friends. Or rather, his new family. The Don Callis Family’s Konosuke Takeshita, Rocky Romero & Trent Beretta step in.

Rocky says, “Who would’ve thought? From the days of Okada & Roppongi Vice in Chaos feuding with you guys in Bullet Club, to all of us on the same side.” Matt admits, that is a long and storied past, and the Bucks like all of them. But their boss? Kind of a prick. Be careful with him. But yes, one common goal. That common goal is to strap Okada up and make him the first-ever AEW UNIFIED Champion. And speaking of a common goal, the other goal is to hurt Kenny Omega. And what better way to do that than to hurt his Golden Lover? Trent says he wants us all to watch what he’s gonna do to Ibushi, because they’re gonna love it.

The Bucks fist-bump with RPG Vice and Nick says this might just work out after all. Okada also fist-bumps his friends, but then has a tense stare down with Konosuke. The Alpha reminds Okada that this is only temporary. Okada says okay, daijobu (it’s all good). The Rainmaker heads out, but will he have a family feud with Konosuke after All In?

Kota Ibushi VS Trent Beretta w/ Rocky Romero!

Just when The Jackal claimed Kenny Omega was all out of friends, the Golden Star returned to AEW! Callis claims Ibushi is a violent maniac that needs to be put down, but will #JustTrent be enough? Or will Ibushi cut through the family tree to avenge The Best Bout Machine?

The bell rings and the fans rally behind Ibushi. Ibushi and Trent slowly circle, tie up, and Ibushi powers Trent back. They end up on ropes but Trent turns things around. The ref counts, Trent lets off slowly, and the two reset. They circle again, tie up, and Ibushi waistlocks. Trent switches, Ibushi switches back then SLAMS Trent down! Ibushi facelocks, Trent slips free to facelock back, but Ibushi rolls through to wrench the arm. Ibushi then trips Trent, rolls him using a leg, and he snapmares to ghost pin! TWO, and Trent hurries to ropes. Trent runs back up, Ibushi dodges to DROPKICK! The fans fire up as Ibushi stands.

Trent goes to a corner, Ibushi rallies the fans, but Rocky distracts from the apron! This lets Trent CLOBBER Ibushi! The fans boo but Trent scowls as he stands Ibushi up. Trent fires forearms on Ibushi against the ropes, the ref counts, and Trent backs off. But then Trent runs and DROPKICKS Ibushi outta the ring! The fans boo while Ibushi flops to the floor. Trent stays back, but that lets Rocky KICK Ibushi! Rocky gets more cheap shots in, then hurries away before the ref sees him. Trent goes out to BOOT Ibushi into railing! The fans boo Trent and rally for Ibushi, but Trent puts Ibushi in the ring. “YOU LOVE IT! YOU LOVE IT!”

Trent storms in while Ibushi goes to a corner. The fans rally, Trent runs up, but Ibushi goes up and over! SNAP POWERSLAM! Both men are down and the fans fire up! Ibushi rises, the fans rally, and Ibushi KICKS Trent down! And KICKS him down again! Trent rises a third time, into Ibushi’s strike fest! And KICK! The fans fire up while Trent is down, and Ibushi STANDING MOONSAULTS! Cover, TWO! The fans fire up and Ibushi brings Trent around. Trent fights the half nelson, arm-drags Ibushi away, then SUPERKICKS! Both men are down and the fans boo! Trent rises, soaks up the heat, then aims from a corner.

Trent runs in, BUSAIKU KNEE! Trent reels Ibushi in, lifts, and GOTCH PILEDRIVER!! Cover, TWO?!?! Ibushi survives and Trent is fuming! Rocky coaches Trent while Ibushi sputters and snarls. Trent kicks Ibushi around, pie faces him, and the fans boo. Ibushi gets mad, but Trent SLAPS him! And kicks him! Ibushi CHOPS! Ibushi throws palm strikes but Trent ducks the kick! Trent half nelsons for the SNAP HALF ‘N’ HALF! But Ibushi’s right up!! And he catches Trent to a SNAP DRAGON! A shoutout to Kenny and the fans fire up! Both men are down but the fans rally. Ibushi rises, feeds off the energy, and he sits Trent up.

Ibushi runs but Trent ducks the kick! Ibushi turns victory roll into a sit-down cover, TWO! Trent has the victory roll, TWO! Trent ghost pins, TWO!! Ibushi barely gets free, but Trent grabs an arm! Trent wrenches and ROCKS Ibushi, then short arm LARIATS! Trent drags Ibushi up, fires another forearm, then winds up for another LARI- NO, Ibushi blocks, double cording holds, and he pushes Trent down! Ibushi DOUBLE STOMPS Trent! The fans fire up and Ibushi sits Trent back up! Trent flails, he knows what Ibushi wants! Trent arm-drags Ibushi into ropes! Ibushi staggers up, Trent runs, but into a V-TRIGGER from Ibushi!

Ibushi has Trent’s wrists, for KAMI-GOYE!! Cover, Ibushi wins!!

Winner: Kota Ibushi, by pinfall

The Golden Star has Trent seeing stars, but wait! The Rainmaker decides to make his way out here! Okada struts out on stage, belt on his shoulder, and he soaks up the heat from Seattle. Okada goes to the ring, and he stares down with Ibushi. Seattle is losing its mind just seeing this, and Ibushi dares Okada to bring the fight. Okada decides not to, and he leaves the ring. The fans boo, but Ibushi is patient. Because BREAKING NEWS courtesy of Tony Khan! For next Wednesday, Dynamite 300, we WILL see Okada VS Ibushi 1v1! Will Ibushi make sure Okada feels just a bit of what he did to Omega? Or will Okada be rolling towards All In: Texas?

Jon Moxley speaks.

“The only thing we ever actually have is the present moment. And it slips through our fingers like sand. Hangman Page has lost hold of what’s come before a thousand times over, and here it is in his hands again. Will he grab it and take hold of it? Will he show up for it like it’s shown up for him? I don’t think so. Why would I? The Cowboy is afraid. Not afraid of me, not a fear of failure. Hangman Page is afraid to become what the world needs him to be. He shies away, ‘Aw shucks. I’m not so special.’ For a guy like me, who’s walked the path that I’ve walked, to be standing here today the world champion, Hangman Page makes me absolutely sick.

“I have less than zero sympathy for your plight. For your crybaby emo crap. The world champion doesn’t shy away from responsibility. The world champion walks into the fire and does not take a single ounce of crap from anybody! You make me absolutely sick. Reach out and grab it, man! Shy away from your gifts, what you’ve been given… What happened, man? You ain’t what these people think you are. On July 12th, when you’re fiddling around with your emotional turmoil, worrying about who’s your friend and who’s not your friend, I don’t care who’s your friend, I don’t care who’s not your friend.

“Your enemies attack from the past, your enemies attack from in here (the mind). While you’re playing around with this, you’re gonna be getting elbowed in the face. On July 12th, you’re going to be choked into oblivion. On July 12th, you’re gonna be getting dumped on the top of your skull. On July 12th, I show the world what the world champion looks like! You? You oughta start looking for another job.” The Maniac has issued another warning, but will Hangman make it all talk when it’s time to go All In?

Backstage interview with AR Fox.

Renee Paquette is with the Whole Fox’n Show and says there has been a lot of momentum on his side lately. Just last Saturday, Fox went toe-to-toe with the AEW World Champion, Jon Moxley. It wasn’t a victory for Fox, but it still feels like things are moving in his direction. What’s next for him? Fox says he got all this momentum, but- Ricochet interrupts. Ricochet assures Fox, he is not here with any animosity or ill will. It’s the opposite. Ricochet isn’t sure if Fox is aware, but Ricochet has been searching for specific individuals with a unique set of skills to help his quest for gold become a reality.

And they’ve known each other for decades! Fox has everything it takes to help Ricochet. Ricochet wants Fox to join his crew. They can team up against those “two chumps,” Mike Bailey & Kevin Knight, aka JetSpeed. What’s Fox say? Fox considers the team-up, but then Ricochet takes his hand to shake it! Ricochet knew Fox would be up for it! A man never forgets his handshakes or goes back on his word! Ricochet heads out, and Fox just got dragged into something. But will things really go as smoothly as Ricochet hopes? Or will The Only & Only stay the One & Only?

Ricochet & AR Fox VS #JetSpeed!

The teams sort out and Kevin Knight starts against Ricochet. Ricochet tells Fox to listen to him and be smart. But then he turns around into haymakers! Fox runs in but Speedball is on him with hands! Bailey TOSSES Fox, Knight CHOPS Ricochet, then bumps Ricochet off buckles. Ricochet dodges a chop, but finds himself surrounded! Ricochet takes swings, misses them all, and then he gets pinballed by forearms and CHOPS! Ricochet tags Fox, Fox jumps in, but into a DOUBLE HIP TOSS! JetSpeed double whip, Fox grabs ropes, and Fox TOSSES Bailey! Fox DUMPS Knight out, sweeps the legs, then runs to BLACK HOLE STOMP!

The fans fire up, and then Fox CANNONBALLS onto Bailey! The fans fire up and Ricochet says he knows what he’s doing teaming with Fox. Fox runs back in, Knight stops the cutter, but Fox goes Matrix to dodge! PELE! Knight falls, the fans fire up, and Fox brings Knight up. Fox suplexes, ANARCHY! Cover, TWO! Knight is tougher than that, and Ricochet is annoyed already. Fox brings Knight up and around, fires forearms, then whips. Knight bounces off buckles, but into a LARIAT! Ricochet says Fox is doing great! Fox covers, TWO! Ricochet gets fans to rally, but they love chanting “BALD! BALD! BALD!” at him.

Fox brings Knight up, but Knight fires a forearm! Fox knees low, reels Knight into a fireman’s carry, but Knight slips free! Knight waistlocks, Fox switches, but Knight elbows free. Ricochet runs up, Knight dodges and LARIATS Ricochet up and out! The fans fire up, Bailey LARIATS Fox up and out! The fans fire up even more, and now JetSpeed DOUBLE PLANCHAS! Down go Fox & Ricochet and the fans fire up! Ricochet flounders away while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Bailey stands Ricochet up against railing, and KICKS him! Ricochet staggers away, Knight puts Fox in the ring, and then Knight takes aim. Fox KICKS Knight as he rams through the ropes! Fox then runs and DRAPING DDTS! Fox rolls through to cover, TWO!! Knight survives but Fox stays cool. Fox drags Knight up, Ricochet tags himself in, and he CLUBS Knight. Ricochet shoos Fox to the corner, then snapmares Knight. Ricochet rolls to KICK! Ricochet soaks up heat before he covers, TWO! Ricochet floats to rain down fists! The ref says those are closed fists but Ricochet claims he’s doing palm strikes.

Ricochet kicks Knight around, then puts him in a corner. Ricochet RAMS into Knight again and again, but stops as the ref counts. Ricochet snapmares Knight, runs and ELBOW DROPS! Ricochet taunts the fans, then pushes Knight to a cover, TWO! Knight is tougher than all that, but Ricochet mockingly claps at Bailey. Knight pushes Ricochet but Ricochet CLOBBERS Knight! Ricochet stomps Knight around, taunts Bailey, then storms up over to Knight. Knight CHOPS Ricochet! Ricochet CLAWS Knight’s face! Ricochet puts Knight in the corner, then he argues with the ref while not so subtly signaling to Fox to attack!

Fox doesn’t want to do that and Ricochet argues with Fox now. Ricochet CLUBS Knight, the ref counts, so Ricochet brings Knight out to CLUB him down again. Ricochet suplexes but Knight blocks! Dynamite returns to single picture as Ricochet CLUBS Knight again. Ricochet tags Fox in, they work together, but then there’s confusion. Are they going to double whip or double suplex? Fox thought it was the former but Ricochet wanted the latter. They talk it out, coordinate again, but then it’s flipped! Ricochet was going to whip and Fox was going to suplex! Fox shoves Ricochet, Ricochet has them both calm down, and Ricochet runs up on Knight.

Knight dodges Ricochet to BOOT Fox! Ricochet runs back in but Knight DUMPS Ricochet out! Knight hurries, hot tag to Bailey! The fans fire up as Speedball dodges Fox, then fires off the LIGHTNING KICKS! ENZIGIRI! SOBAT! And then AX KICK! And ROUND KICK! Fox is down, Bailey runs, STANDING SHOOTING STAR! Cover, Ricochet breaks it! Ricochet whips, Knight tags in, and Bailey CHOPS! Bailey whips Ricochet, JetSpeed then bypass and DOUBLE DROPKICK! Ricochet tumbles out, Knight somersaults and Bailey gives him a boost to FLYING LARIAT on Fox! Cover, TWO! Fox survives and the fans rally.

Knight tags Bailey, but Ricochet YANKS Bailey down and RAMS him into steel steps! Fox CLUBS Knight but into Ricochet! Ricochet is down, Fox runs up, and Fox DIVES to take out Bailey! Fox puts Bailey back in, aims again, and he runs at the corner, into a THRUST KICK! Bailey goes up, Fox runs back in! LO MEIN PAIN!! The fans are thunderous while both men are down! Both men crawl, they both reach out, but Ricochet seethes. Hot tag to Knight, NO TAG to Ricochet! The One & Only blames Fox for that spill earlier! The fans boo but Fox dodges Knight, dodges again, but Knight’s DROPKICK finds him!

Knight pops Fox up for the SKY2HIGH! Knight calls his shot, he goes up top, and he aims for the MOTHERSHIP UFO SPLASH!! Cover, JetSpeed wins!

Winners: #JetSpeed, by pinfall

Ricochet wanted Fox on his side, but only as a follower. Will Ricochet only have himself to blame in the end? As for JetSpeed, Tony Schiavone greets them at the ramp, and says they are red hot in the tag team rankings. Bailey says that’s right! And with great power comes great responsibility! The AEW World Tag Team Championships have been held hostage for way too long! It is time for someone to come to their rescue! Knight says Bailey is 100% right. Those titles are being held hostage! Worse than OKC was holding the Supersonics’ legacy hostage for all this time! Seattle cheers that!

Knight says it is time for the tag titles to come home around the waists of #JetSpeed! Knight has a quick little song for everyone. How’s it go again? Oh, right. “One, two, you hear the clock tickin’.” Tick-tock! Hurt Syndicate, JetSpeed’s about to hurt your feelings! All In: Texas, JetSpeed is coming! But then the Hurt Syndicate attacks! Bobby Lashley beats down Bailey while Shelton Benjamin is all over Knight! The fans are torn but MVP & MJF walk out to watch this. Lashley LARIATS Bailey on the ramp! Shelton THROWS Knight into and over the steel steps! MJF applauds, and Lashley sends Bailey into the steps!

Shelton hauls Knight up for a BARRIER BACK SUPLEX! Lashley gives Bayley an APRON URENAGE! MVP has MJF follow him and they go off to the side. Shelton snap suplexes Knight on the ramp! Lashley feeds Bailey to Shelton for a snap suplex on the floor! And this is a hockey stadium, so all that’s under the pads is solid ice! MJF & MVP return, and they’ve brought a table! They set the table up on the stage, and MVP says this is what JetSpeed asked for! Shelton drags Knight over using a sleeper, MJF says, “We hurt people, baby! WOO~!” Lashley CLUBS Bailey down while Shelton places Knight on the table. Lashley then gives Bailey a MILE HIGH SLAM onto Knight and the table!

Seattle is torn as JetSpeed is down in the wreckage, but the Hurt Syndicate stands tall. MVP wants a mic, a mic is presented, and MVP says, “Now that we’ve taken care of that little bit of business… Can I please have the tag team champions’ titles brought out? Thank you very much.” A ring crew member brings the titles to Lashley & Shelton, and MVP says, “Gentlemen, shall we proceed to take care of business the right way? Production truck! Music, please.” The song plays and MVP nods. The four head to the ring and the introductions are given. MVP then says, “Attention AEW viewing audience: This is an official announcement from the Hurt Syndicate.

“The AEW Tag Team Champions, ‘The Standard of Excellence,’ Shelton Benjamin, ‘The All Mighty’ Bobby Lashley. I am absolutely begging you! Please, will SOMEONE stand up to the AEW Tag Team Champions? Please, somebody do it! Please, somebody! And speaking of stand-up, I’ll say this: IF JetSpeed can even stand up after that beating they received, I will be all too willing to give them an opportunity to face these behemoths at All In in Texas for the AEW Tag Team Championships. On the condition that they can walk.” MVP grins because he doubts that’s possible right now.

“Now, I would like for everyone to give me your undivided attention as I turn the microphone over to the young genius, Maxwell Jacob Friedman.” The fans boo but MJF says, “Thank you, Montel.” The fans boo MJF, but he says, “I’m talking, Washington, I’m talking. Thank you, though, I appreciate it. As you know, last week, I unmasked and I defeated ‘the lucha libre legend,’ Mistico.” MVP interrupts MJF so he can tell the fans to show respect to the most amazing athletic talent to ever step into Seattle! MJF says that is true. He shouldn’t have even come here, they don’t deserve him.

But MJF isn’t here to talk about his accolades or accomplishments. For crying out loud, we only have two hours. MVP says they says the fans are just upset that they haven’t seen an athlete as spectacular as MJF since the Sonics left! MJF & MVP laugh, and MJF says the reason he is even here tonight is to tell all of us that next week, MJF will be in a qualifying match for the Men’s Casino Gauntlet. And when MJF wins that, because he is going to win, he will be one step closer to what is rightfully his, not “Dictator Jon’s,” and it damn sure ain’t your crooked Cowboy’s! But MJF’S AEW World Championship!

The fans boo but MJF says, “Hit our music!” “Reach for the sky, boy!” That’s not it! But here comes Mark Briscoe all the same! And he has a mic to tell Max, “We all know that you could listen to yourself talk all night long. However, my main, Mikey behind this curtain with the headset on, y’know, the producer? He said, ‘Max is taking too long once again. Chicken, we gonna hit your music cuz you got a match. Get them boys out the ring!'” Mark asks Hurt Syndicate to kindly exit the ring so that he can handle his business. The fans cheer that! MJF says no one asked the fans, shut up! The fans boo that.

MJF wants to explain something to Briscoe. MJF doesn’t give a damn about what time it is! They can take up as much as they want! Because unlike Briscoe, the Hurt Syndicate are actual stars. Now, the fans like Briscoe, right? The fans cheer that, and MJF says this is why: They like Briscoe cuz they can relate. They’re just as dirt ugly and dirt poor! MJF is willing to bet all these shmucks in the arena and at home have as many bills in their pockets as Briscoe does teeth in his mouth! So here’s some advice for Briscoe: Leave now, because if you get in this ring right now, Lord knows Briscoe will do what he always does, and that’s lose!

MJF tells Briscoe to go back to his ranch in Delaware and pick up chicken s*it, “You blue collar b*tch!” MVP has MJF calm down but Briscoe says that’s hilarious. But he also sees right through MJF. He sees MJF’s inner turmoil, the pain where all these mean comments come from. Briscoe knows! MJF said it once himself that he was bullied as a child, so all these insults come from a place of hurt. So the word of the day is empathy! The fans cheer that! Briscoe then says if Seattle will let Briscoe empathize with MJF and put himself in MJF’s shoes, MJF is just trying to compensate for something.

All these hurtful comments that come from MJF come from a place of insufficiency in certain areas. Let’s put it this way: If Briscoe is MJF and going damn near 30 years with an itty bitty kosher pickle in his pants, then he’d probably wanna hang out with the Hurt Syndicate, too. MVP stops MJF from exploding, but the fans chant, “Kosher Pickle!” MVP says this is about business. This ain’t business. How about they all just exit the ring, and they leave Briscoe to do what he does better than anybody else. They will just watch Mark Briscoe lose. The Hurt Syndicate steps out of the ring and the fans chant for “DEM BOYS! DEM BOYS!”

MVP has Shelton & Lashley stand down so Briscoe can go to the ring. Seattle cheers Briscoe on, but will he be the number one man for All In? Or will someone else defy the odds tonight to improve their odds in Texas?

Adam Cole speaks.

The AEW TNT Champion says, “The Don Callis Family has been a thorn in my side for far too long. I think it’s about time you put your money where your mouth is, so I got an idea. Tomorrow night on Collision: Open Challenge for my TNT Championship against ANY member of the Don Callis Family. Not only will I successfully defend this TNT Championship, but I am gonna whoop your ass in the process. And that is undisputed.” The Panama City Playboy is confident that no matter who The Jackal throws at him, he’ll be ready. Will that be true? Or will Cole lose the gold in that Collision?

BREAKING NEWS for Dynamite 300!

After The CEO got the drop on Toni Storm, Mina Shirakawa wants revenge! And to make it sweeter, it will be for the AEW TBS Championship! Will the Face of TBS be #MinaNow? Or will Money Train run over the Fighting Gravure Idol?

Backstage interview with FTR & Stokely Hathaway.

Renee Paquette is with Cash Wheeler, Dax Harwood & #BigStoke. She brings up that their tight circle of friends continues to shrink. The Outrunners came out last week and made the save for Bandido after that Collision 8 Man Tag. What is going on with FTR and the Outrunners? Stokely says first of all, these two here are too heartbroken and disappointed to speak. Last week’s Collision, they had an excellent victory! And then Stokely cannot believe he is saying this, but Turbo Floyd & Truth Magnum chose to interrupt! How egregious! All weekend, FTR deliberated on what is the best way to solve this problem.

Stokely said they could do some good ol’ fashioned vandalism, but cooler heads prevailed. The wise men of FTR prevailed. But look at these two. These are great, God-fearing, family men! Upstanding citizens! And that is why they decided that tomorrow night on Collision, they can all just meet in the ring to clear the air. FTR wants to see where things are with The Outrunners, and then they can all just get on the same page. What about that? #TopGuysOut. Will Cash & Dax only want to talk with Truth & Turbo? Or will the Youngest Men Alive just be the newest victims of the hypocrisy?

BREAKING NEWS for Collision!

Adam Cole put out the challenge and that challenge has been answered! Josh Alexander steps up, but will the Walking Weapon bring that TNT Championship home to the Don Callis Family? Meanwhile, we get more Paragon VS Don Callis Family as it is a battle of Kyles! Kyle O’Reilly and Kyle Fletcher go 1v1, will the Violent Artist turn The Protostar into a masterpiece? Or will the Aussie Arrow hit the bull’s eye on his way to the top? And the Don Callis Family just stays busy as Rocky Romero teams with Hechicero against Brody King & Templario! Will Azucar & The Alchemist make Collision bittersweet? Or will the King of Death & Lion Warrior tear down the house?

Plus, with the Women’s Casino Gauntlet coming up, everyone wants to improve their chances! Queen Aminata and Skye Blue go 1v1, will the winner impress Tony Khan and be part of the mix? Last but not least, with MVP daring the AEW World Tag Team Division to step up, Big Bill & Bryan Keith battle Christian Cage & Nick Wayne, both teams hoping to earn their shot. Will the Redwood & Bad Apple sour things for the “father and son?” Or will Captain Charisma & his Prodigy be one step closer to making history?

Hangman Page VS The Beast Mortos!

Jon Moxley had a lot to say about The Cowboy, but The Cowboy prefers to let his actions speak for him. Will Hangman be able to hogtie this menacing minotaur? Or will Mortos continue to be a merciless mercenary for The Elite & Death Riders?

The bell rings and the fans rally as the two circle. They tie up as the fans duel, and Hangman wrenches to a wristlock. Mortos uses the ropes to flip through and wrench back. Hangman breaks free, ROCKS Mortos, then triangle jump LARIATS Mortos down!

The fans rally as Hangman watches Mortos. Mortos sputters on the floor, that was a hard landing for the big monster. Hangman goes out to bring Mortos up and put him in the ring. Hangman looms over Mortos, brings him up, and scoops him for a FALL AWAY SLAM into the corner! Mortos is down, Hangman covers, TWO! Mortos stays in this but Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Hangman stays cool as he stands back up. Mortos huffs ‘n’ puffs as he sits back up. Mortos leans against the ropes but Hangman stands him up. Mortos SOBATS, KNEES, and ELBOWS Hangman! Dynamite returns to single picture while Mortos THROWS Hangman down by his hair again! The ref reprimands but the fans rally up. Mortos pumps up and vows to end this. Mortos lifts Hangman, back suplexes, but Hangman lands out! Hangman literally has the bull by the horns now as he holds Mortos back! Mortos takes a swing, Hangman ducks the haymaker to ROCK Mortos! Mortos fires as forearm, Hangman fires back, and Mortos HEADBUTTS again! Mortos runs, but into a BOOT!

Hangman runs, but Mortos follows! DISCUS- NO, Hangman ducks the shot and comes back. Hangman blocks a kick, spins Mortos, but now Mortos ducks the discus! But the LARIAT finds Mortos on the return! Cover, TWO! Mortos survives but the fans rally up behind Hangman. Hangman brings Mortos up, Alabama Lifts, but that’s a lot to lift! Mortos lifts Hangman, but Hangman slips free! Then DISCUS LARIAT! The fans are thunderous and Hangman aims from the apron! Slingshot, BUCKSHOT!! Cover, Hangman wins!

Winner: Hangman Page, by pinfall

Mortos gave the Cowboy one hell of a fight, but it wasn’t enough to put Hangman down! Wait, the lights go out! This can only mean one thing! The lights come back up, and THE BUCKS have Hangman down?!? Not quite what anyone expected, but then they give Hangman an E V P TRIGGER!!! Matt & Nick tell Hangman that HE made them do this! They wanted to help him but he didn’t get that! And now The Death Riders make their way out here. Jon Moxley leads the way for Yuta & Marina as they go through the crowd and to the ring. Yuta has a chair already, but Marina even has a steel chain!

The Death Riders storm into the ring, they surround Hangman, and the fans boo. Marina hands Moxley that chain, and Moxley uses it to CHOKE Hangman like a garotte! The fans boo more as The Bucks mock Hangman! Hangman turns red, then starts to fade out! But here comes The Opps! The Bucks kick at them, then Yuta uses his chair! The Opps have to drop back, but they get chairs of their own! Hangman is still fading out as Yuta & The Bucks keep anyone else from getting in! But here comes Ospreay! Ospreay turns the tides and now the Death Riders are in retreat! Ospreay makes sure Hangman can breathe again, but the Death Riders leave it at this.

Refs also rush in and check on Hangman. Hangman sputters and coughs, but will he be alright come All In? Or will Moxley back up all his talk by running The Cowboy out of AEW?

My Thoughts:

An awesome Dynamite with a lot of build going on. Great stuff with Mone attacking Toni to add heat to their feud. Mina coming to Toni’s rescue and then getting a TBS Championship match is good stuff, too, but I’m pretty sure Mone wins. The Women’s Fatal 4 Way was awesome stuff, and given the story they were giving us, it makes sense for Marina & Yuta to help Kris rather than screw her over. They clearly want Kris to join them rather than be their enemy, because that’s easier than having to fight her when Death Riders finally make a move on the women’s titles. With that in mind, it’d be awesome for Kris to win the gauntlet and eventually win the Women’s World Championship.

AEW did a great job connecting stories and segments tonight, with Ricochet’s promo with Fox leading to a tag match. Great tag match and great win for #JetSpeed because of course Ricochet’s ego gets in the way. Then the Hurt Syndicate beating up on JetSpeed was some good stuff, definitely indicates there will be a tag title match there. MVP’s promo is perfectly Heel because he hypocritically claims there are no teams stepping up, despite Lashley & Shelton beating down the team they clearly don’t want to face. Great promo from Briscoe to counter the Hurt Syndicate. Briscoe is truly a great promo guy, and he is obviously popular with how he got the fans to chant “Empathy.”

The Men’s Fatal 4 Way was also awesome, and a great win for Briscoe to mostly stick it to MJF. MJF will more than likely win his Casino Gauntlet qualifier (a little surprised they’re doing one of those at all), and then we can get some great stuff from MJF and Briscoe in the gauntlet match. And I’m thinking we’ll get a Briscoe & #JetSpeed VS Hurt Syndicate Six Man Tag to help lead us into Hurt Syndicate VS JetSpeed for the titles. Very good promo from Stokely to hype up a face-to-face for FTR and Outrunners, and we all know that’s gonna turn into a fight, right? FTR has been pulling the same move again and again, they’re going to sucker Turbo & Truth into a brawl that then becomes a match.

And we got even more great storyline connections tonight with the Elite, Death Riders and even Don Callis Family. The Bucks using their authority to “move a match” was good stuff, I’m a little surprised they haven’t been doing more moves like this. But great opening tag match from Ospreay & Swerve VS Blake & Lee, and therefore a great win from Ospreay & Swerve. Swerve & Ospreay wanting the titles of Executive Vice Presidents is wild but I love the idea. Also, very clever use of the kayfabe guidelines in wrestling companies. The ref being in the pile that Swerve took out was a great little detail to “suspend” Swerve, explaining why he couldn’t help Hangman even if he wanted to at the end of tonight.

Good interaction from Bucks with Okada and the Don Callis Family. Konosuke putting Okada on notice was good stuff, and we got a great match of Ibushi VS Trent. Ibushi won, of course, and if not for the “Unified Championship” match already being on the books, I feel like Ibushi VS Okada could’ve been for the Continental Championship. But then it’d be too much like Mone VS Mina, so I suppose it’s fine. Okada VS Ibushi could probably be when Omega makes his return, saving Ibushi from The Don Callis Family beating up on Ibushi. Adam Cole had a good promo, and I guess Alexander answering over Fletcher is fine. That saves Fletcher VS Cole for All In, with Kyle VS Kyle acting as a solid momentum builder for Fletcher.

Hangman VS Mortos was a great main event, and a pretty big deal for Mortos. Naturally Hangman wins, but a pretty wild move for The Bucks to betray Hangman now. At the same time, it’d stink worse if they did it at All In, it’d be one of those moves that costs Hangman the title. Death Riders joining in was also a given, though, as was Ospreay & The Opps making the save. And all of this continues to add anticipation for the moment Swerve actually helps Hangman fight off the Death Riders and win that title, it’s going to be a huge moment.

My Score: 8.9/10

We all know how important the title is for MJF, but is MJF willing to put his hair on the line for it? MJF just chuckles and moves on, but he notices the very bald Rick Knox, Bryce Remsburg, and the head of security, David Aponte. And then various bald members of the production staff…

And then even Christopher Daniels & Sonjay Dutt are there! Daniels and Sonjay chuckle before moving on, and then MJF sees John Silver flexing. Brandon Cutler, some arena staff, and even Tommaso Ciampa, all bald. Then last but certainly not least, Ricochet! He tells MJF that don’t worry, he’ll look great. Just not as good as Ricochet. AHA~! MJF storms off, will he have no choice but to choose between gold belt and chrome dome?

Will putting their tag team legacy on the line be enough to take the gold? Or will Double or Nothing be the last night that team reeks of awesomeness?

Will Ospreay continues to train with The Death Riders.

They’re outside this time, Claudio Castagnoli playing some wall ball with Marina Shafir and Pac. Daniel Garcia says, “Tonight is the night that we’ve all been waiting for: The Aerial Assassin, Will Ospreay, is cleared and back on Dynamite. And rumor has it, the kid’s been working real hard and he’s got some new tricks up his sleeves. So Young Boy Billy, tonight you gotta show me something, c’mon.” Garcia gets a quick turn in on wall ball while cameras move over. Ospreay is maintaining a neck bridge while Jon Moxley uses Wheeler Yuta as a living dummy to show just how to push and pull and bend and twist on the various chinlocks and headlocks.

Use the right arm to push against the head, then snake in the left arm for the sleeper. Pry and shoot. Moxley asks how Ospreay feels. Ospreay lets off the bridge and says honestly, the best he’s felt in forever. Moxley asks if Ospreay remembers the night he won the Best of the Super Juniors. Yeah, 2019. AKA a lifetime ago. Ospreay was carefree, flew like a bird, for no other reason than that’s just what birds do. So simple back then, chasing that feeling, like no other feeling in the world. Can’t really grab it in your hands for more than a few seconds. The joy of doing it. Then everybody comes in and tries to make it so overcomplicated.

Years pass, life happens, a family starts, responsibilities show up, bad things happen, bad choices catch up to you, and it’s all weight on your shoulders. You feel like you can’t fly. But Moxley will tell you something: Nothing is different. Nothing has changed. All those things are still gonna be there, but you can still fly. You’re just more dangerous now. You’re a bird of prey. So tonight, when you got out there, don’t go out there to protect anything. Not your neck, your image, your reputation, or what you’ve built in your career. Go out there to give something. Moxley checks on Yuta and says dammit, if you’re gonna snap a headlock, snap the headlock!

Moxley storms off to instruct his pupil, but will Ospreay use everything he has been taught to great effect? Or will he have to fold against Ace Austin?

Chris Jericho speaks.

“You wanna face Jericho in a match of my own design, Ricochet? A spectacle so innovative, so imaginative, it cannot be contained, it can only be witnessed. Well, be careful what you demand, because you’ve made a few enemies yourself, Ricochet. And now a match designed specifically to settle scores without any, and I mean AAANY~, limitations has gotten even bigger.” Chris Jericho & The Hurt Syndicate were just looking for two more, but “Jungle” Jack Perry said he can bring four: himself, The Young Bucks, and KENNY OMEGA! Jericho tells Ricochet that this is no longer what he designed, but it is a devil’s dance of destruction! Ricochet’s destruction!

Ricochet got what he wanted, now can he handle it? Bald. The first-ever SEVEN VS SEVEN Stadium Stampede, who will even survive?

Ricochet & The Demand respond.

They stand with Mark Davis of the Don Callis Family and Ricochet says we all know Jericho does a lot of talking out of his ass while The Demand gets things done. Just like Davis did when he defeated Jack for the AEW National Championship at Fairway to Hell. Hold it with pride, Davis, Ricochet knows you’ll do it well. Davis says he’s got this. Ricochet says Davis has joined the dream team, but he’s not the only one. Because compliments to Ricochet’s golfing buddy, Don Callis, look who else he’s sending: Andrade El Idolo! Gracias, amigo. But it doesn’t stop there, the train keeps rolling. Ricochet was just approached by two guys who have an ax to grind with the superkick sidekicks.

These two wanna fill out the last two spots, so who is Ricochet to say no to The Dogs? Finlay & Connors storm in, and Finlay says to put it simple, they will fight The Bucks in the streets, in the ring, but guess it’s fighting at Double or Nothing! If they want violence, if they want carnage, if they want chaos, who better than The Dogs?! The Dogs bark and Liona roars, but will these seven stand tall in the Big Apple?

At Stadium Stampede, bring your friends, bring any weapon you want, and I will crack you over the skull with it. Because anything goes. But after that, it’s back to grass roots, because it is you and me, fighting for a shot at the world title at All In: London. Ace accepts the handshake again, and Ospreay is moving on towards Double or Nothing with a great amount of momentum. But wait! SAMOA JOE is here! He and The Opps walk out on stage, and with mic in hand, Joe says, “Ospreay, Ospreay… OSPREAY, OSPREAY!” Joe is clearly mocking the chants for Ospreay, and the fans give genuine chanting and even singing in return. Joe says he just wanted to make sure Ospreay was listening, because these past few weeks, it seemed like Ospreay had a hard time hearing him.

Despite Ospreay’s best efforts, fate has put them on a collision course in the opening round of the Owen Hart Cup. The fans like the sound of that! Joe say she is here for one reason and one reason alone. He wants to speak about choices and consequences. Ospreay could’ve made the right choice and get a bye in this tournament, because that is what Joe would do for one of his friends. But Ospreay chose poorly. He could’ve been with the team that would do nothing but support and enhance Ospreay, but he decided to be a lapdog for Moxley and the Death Riders. The fans boo, Ospreay says he’s not a Death Rider.

Joe says Ospreay has made his choice, and come Double or Nothing, Joe makes Ospreay suffer the consequences. But Joe leaves Ospreay in peace tonight, for he has his date with destiny. But unfortunately, Joe’s friends, Katsuyori Shibata & Anthony Bowens, still feel slighted, and he doesn’t put leashes on his friends. Shibata & Bowens storm down the ramp, Ospreay ready to fight them both if he has to. But then The Death Riders appear! Ospreay may not have officially joined the club, but the Death Riders aren’t going to let their investment go to waste! The Opps say they’re #NeverLacking, but that doesn’t seem to be the case now!

Shibata & Bowens back down while Moxley, Marina, Claudio, Yuta, Garcia & Pac all step up to support Ospreay. Joe says, “Soon. Soon.” The fans cheer the Death Riders, or at least Moxley, but Bowens promises Joe is gonna kill you, Ospreay! The dream match for Double or Nothing is on, but will the training with The Death Riders make Ospreay the new King of Harts?

BREAKING NEWS for next week!

If you liked last week’s THREE HOUR block of AEW, then you’ll love this next one! Portland, Maine, the last Wednesday before Double or Nothing, Dynamite & Collision are combining forces again! Three hours all on TBS and HBO Max, make sure your DVR is set accordingly!

Backstage interview with Don Callis & Konosuke Takeshita.

Renee is now with The Invisible Hand & The Alpha, saying tonight is a huge opportunity in the main event, Konosuke facing Darby Allin for THE AEW World Championship. Konosuke could be heading into Double or Nothing as a- Callis stops Renee there to say Konosuke will be heading into Double or Nothing as a DOUBLE champion! But then MJF steps in, apologizes for the interruption but says Renee’s doing a great job. The Scumbag tells Konosuke that while it’s been a minute since the two of them have talked, three years actually, back when MJF beat him… MJF has seen Konosuke develop into truly one of the best wrestlers in the world!

MJF believes that tonight, Konosuke beats Darby for the title, goes to DON to beat Okada, and MJF can’t think of a better match than Konosuke VS MJF Part 2 for the world title. How’s that sound? MJF offers a handshake, Konosuke shakes his hand, but in Japanese, Konosuke tells MJF that he’ll beat the crap out of him. Thankfully, MJF doesn’t know Japanese. Callis says that was a nice pep talk MJF just gave, and MJF says yes, he knows. That kid needs to win, okay? MJF can’t let Darby turn him into some disgusting, bald freak! No offense, Callis looks great. But look, there is only one foolproof way to know MJF won’t be put in that situation.

So if things get hairy… MJF hands over the Dynamite Diamond Ring! Callis smiles, and say she understands what to do with it. But then in steps Andrade. El Idolo takes off his hat to shake out his amazing head of hair, and smiles at MJF. MJF frowns and leaves. Callis says here’s the deal: Takeshita will bring the world title home to the Don Callis Family tonight! Andrade asks, “How you know?” Callis says aye dios mio, he seriously doesn’t know where Andrade learned English. Andrade says one way or another, the next time, that will be HIS title. Callis says yes, he knows, it’s all good. Callis is a man of many talents, but will his family be dripping with gold thanks to a diamond ring?

AEW now announces the Women’s Owen Hart Memorial Tournament brackets!

Double or Nothing will see Willow Nightingale, the reigning Queen of Harts, take on Alex Windsor, while we will see Persephone VS Hazuki, Skye Blue vs Sareee, and Mina Shirakawa VS Athena! Champions from around the world are gathering for this tournament, but who will be headed to Forbidden Door, and then All In: London?

Backstage interview with The Conglomeration.

Renee Paquette is now with Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly, Roderick Strong, and Willow Nightingale. Renee commends Cassidy on his part in the 10 Man Tag victory. But it seems that there is even more business to attend to. Cassidy says yes, the team has a shot at THE AEW World Tag Team Championships. It doesn’t matter who it is, they’re getting their shot, but the thing is… They still haven’t decided on which two will be. Kyle says Cassidy & Roddy should go for the gold, but Roddy shouts, “KYYYLE~! Thank you.” Kyle says of course. But that’s cuz he’s got gold to chase for himself!

The same man that put Kyle on the shelf for months is the man that Kyle submitted twice, and will submit again. Jon Moxley, Continental Champion, when are we doing this? Willow says speaking of gold, she is still the TBS Champion. But she is also in the Owen Hart Cup. She won this tournament before, she’ll do it all over again, so that she can have all the gold for herself at All In: London. She knows she can, and she will! Then Conglomeration has it all in order? Cassidy says hold on, there’s something missing. They should do a Word of the Day. Why haven’t they done one in so long? Roddy shouts for “MAAARK~!” And yes, Mark Briscoe returns!

The Sussex County Chicken is all fired up, and he says the Word of the day is reunification! For Mark Briscoe is back with his boys and his girls, The Conglomeration! But he’ll put this plain and simple: Tommaso Ciampa! Next Wednesday, Briscoe’s after your ass, son! You hear him? But before that, Saturday Night Collision is in HIS hometown, Salisbury, Maryland! That’s just 4.4 miles from where Briscoe originated on this earth! They’re gonna conglomerate and it’s gonna be a a hell of a time! Are you ready!? Willow and Kyle are fired up, Briscoe goes wild, and the team heads out. Cassidy admits, that was a lot of yelling.

But while The Conglomeration is ready to go Double or Nothing, will they soon have even more gold in the collection? Or are these high and lofty a little too much even for them?

Six Woman Tag: Hikaru Shida & The Brawling Birds VS The Triangle of Madness!

With the news of both the AEW Women’s World Championship Fatal 4 Way for Double or Nothing, and the Owen Hart Cup brackets, this trios match is about much more than just settling scores! Will the Shining Samurai be just as sharp as Jamie Hayter going into that title match? Or will Thekla, Skye Blue & Julia Hart continue to bring them down by any means necessary?

The trios sort out and Jamie steps up against Thekla as both a rematch from their 1v1 title match, and a preview of what’s to come in the next. They circle, but then Skye CLOBBERS Jamie! Julia steps in, but so do Shida and Windsor! The Triangle throws hands on Shida & The Birds, then triple whip. But all three reverse, a BOOT for Thekla, a DDT for Skye, and a BACKBREAKER for Julia! The fans cheer as The Triangle bails out! Shida goes out to keep after Skye while Windsor goes after Julia. Jamie gets Thekla back in the ring while Shida and Windsor have the Sisters of Sin in the corners of the barriers. The fans cheer as they all rain down fists!

Windsor, Jamie & Shida all go to nine, then wind up for TEN! The fans cheer again while Thekla sputters. Jamie snap suplexes, but Skye ROCKS Shida! Jamie stomps Thekla, Windsor SLAMS Julia off barriers, and Jamie stomps a mudhole in the corner. The ref counts, Jamie lets off, but Skye and Windsor meet while tightrope walking the barriers! Skye and Windsor trade shots, they wobble a bit, then Skye DECKS Windsor! Skye keeps from falling into the crowd, but Jamie gets her! Windsor joins in and the Birds double gorilla press, SNAKE EYES off the apron! The fans fire up, but Thekla is up top! SUPER CROSSBODY onto The Birds!

The fans fire up again and Thekla is feeling it while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Thekla stomps Windsor, CLUBS Jamie, then helps Skye. But Shida runs up, only for Thekla to ELBOW her down! The Triangle has control again, they ROCK Jamie and Shida and Windsor, then send them all to the desk. The Triangle CHOP again and again and again! Then they wind up, but feint chops to SMACK all three off the apron! The Triangle soaks up the cheers and jeers before putting Jamie back in the ring. Thekla brings Jamie up, snapmares her down, then basement SUPERKICKS! Cocky cover, TWO! Thekla drags Jamie to the corner, tags Julia, and Julia runs up to LARIAT! Then she goes side to side to ELBOW Jamie down!

Julia snapmares Jamie to a cover, TWO! Julia is annoyed but she rains down fists. The ref reprimands, Julia stops, but then she sucker punches Windsor! And Shida, too! Julia then drags Jamie over, bumps her off buckles, and tags in Skye. Skye stomps Jamie around, then digs her boot in! The ref counts, Skye stops at 4, then she brings Jamie up. Jamie fires forearms and CHOPS, but Skye THROWS Jamie down by her hair! The ref reprimands again but Skye rains down forearms. Skye snapmares Jamie, mule kicks her, then covers, TWO! Skye frowns but she stomps Jamie down. Skye tags Julia while Dynamite returns to single picture.

Skye whips Jamie into Julia’s grasp, and Skye BLASTS Shida & Windsor while Julia tags Thekla. Julia has Jamie in the TARANTULA, and Skye sends Windsor in for Thekla’s HANGING HEADSCISSORS! Skye runs up to DOUBLE SHOTGUN The Birds! The fans are torn but Thekla says that’s how the Triangle does it, baby! Thekla then aims to MISSILE- NO, Jamie gest under! Thekla lands out, but Jamie BOOTS her down! Jamie looks at Shida, Shida is hesitant, but Shida tags in! The fans cheer as Shida sends Theknla to the corner, then JUMP KNEES! Shida keeps moving, she BLASTS Skye! Julia ROCKS Shida back!

Julia storms in but Shida kicks her and whips her into Thekla! Shida KNEES them both in the corner! Then Shida puts Thekla sideways in the corner, reels Julia in, and she snap suplexes Julia into Thekla! The fans fire up as Shida then suplexes Thekla high and hard! Cover, TWO! Shida stands Thekla up, Thekla swings but Shida ROCKS her first! And ROCKS her again! Thekla wobbles, swings, but Shida catches Thekla for another forearm! Shida runs the ropes but Thekla mule kicks! Thekla SMACKS Shida, then she dodges a boot to DECK Shida! Thekla talks trash on Shida, then drags her up to tag in Julia.

Julia tags Skye, then tag back to Thekla. The Sisters of Sin hit the DOUBLE GOURD BUSTER and DOUBLE SUPERKICKS! Thekla hits the bridge, and she aims for the SPIDER SPEAR! Cover, but The Birds CLOBBER The Sisters of Sin onto it! The fans fire up a Windsor DECKS Skye and Jamie HEADBUTTS Julia! The Birds drag Shida to safety, Windsor tags in, and she CLOBBERS Thekla! Windsor CLUBS away, then fires the fans up. Jamie steps in, BOOT RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP COMBO! Basement LARIAT! And then Windsor lifts! Jamie runs up, but Skye trips Jamie! The fans boo but Skye sends Jamie into steel steps!

Thekla sends Windsor into buckles! Tag to Julia before Shida runs up, TAMASHII KNEE on Thekla! Skye SUPERKICKS Shida! Jamie is back to clinch and HAYTBREAKER! Julia runs up, slips around, SOLE FOOD! Julia kips up, but Windsor is there to whip Julia to ropes! Skye tags in before the SPINEBUSTER! Skye SUPERKICKS Windsor, then brings her up! Skye hops on, CODE- NO, Windsor pops free! Skye SUPERKICKS again, but Windsor HEADBUTTS! The fans fire up as Jamie joins in again, and they DOUBLE LARIAT SANDWICH! Then they set Skye up, and Jamie says let’s try this again!

Jamie runs the ropes, but Thekla slides in, BELT SHOT on Jamie!! No question that the ref saw that! The Triangle is disqualified!

Winners: Hikaru Shida & The Brawling Birds, by disqualification

The Toxic Spider doesn’t care about this win, she just wants to do damage! Skye gets Windsor in a DRAGON SLEEPER! The ref stops Thekla from sing the title belt again, so Thekla just takes off her own belt! And she LASHES Windsor while Skye holds her down! More refs rush out here, but Julia MISTS the newbie in the face! Julia stomps away on Jamie, not caring about fines or consequences, either! The fans boo, and Shida is bailing on the Birds? Shida cares more about her chances in that Fatal 4 Way than anything else. But then Willow, Mina, and even Thunder Rosa rush out here! They chase The Triangle off with belts of their own!

The fans cheer as The Babe, the Fighting Gravure Idol & La Mera Mera save the day. But will Jamie make sure Thekla and Shida pay for this at Double or Nothing?

AEW World Championship: Darby Allin VS Konosuke Takeshita!

They say “card subject to change,” and that is true even for the best in the world. Kazuchika Okada’s real family takes priority, but his Don Callis Family brother was more than happy to step up for this opportunity. Will The Alpha already have two belts by the time he and The Rainmaker battle over the International Championship? Or will Darby truly be relentless in his pursuit of being the best fighting champion in AEW history?

The introductions are made, THE belt is raised, and we see who goes to Double or Nothing on top!

Callis joins commentary to say that while Darby’s been breaking his own body, Konosuke has perfected “rejuvenation training,” aka relaxing on a beach and sipping sake! The bell rings, and Darby SHOTGUNS Konosuke out! Then Darby DIVES, but Konosuke catches him! Konosuke POSTS Darby, then THROWS him into railing! Konosuke THROWS Darby into the ring, the fans fire up for both guys, and Konosuke hurries to BOOT Darby off the apron! Darby falls in front of commentary but Konosuke gets him right back in the ring. Cover, ONE!! The fans rally as Darby shows his grit, but Konosuke snarls.

Konosuke drags Darby up, Darby fires forearms, but the ALPHA ELBOW knocks Darby down! The fans fire up while Konosuke looms over Darby. Konosuke stands Darby up, and THROWS him into a corner! Darby bounces off the buckles and is bleeding from the mouth already! Konosuke stands Darby up, hoists him up top, then he climbs up after him. But Darby BITES Konosuke, CLUBS him down, and leaps for a CROSSBODY, but he bounces off Konosuke! The fans fire up again as Konosuke whips Darby for a BACKDROP! Darby got serious hangtime there, and he flounders out of the ring. Darby coughs and sputters but the fans rally up.

Konosuke goes out after Darby but Darby SMACKS him! Konosuke KNEES low, KNEES him again and again and again! Konosuke KNEES Darby against the barriers, then refreshes the count. Konosuke whips Darby hard into railing! Darby sputters as he leans against the railing, but Konosuke positions the steel steps. Konosuke then fetches Darby, lines up a shot, but Darby fights the suplex! Darby CLAWS Konosuke’s back, then fires a shot. Konosuke DECKS Darby in return! Darby slumps against the steps, Konosuke runs up, but Darby dodges! Konosuke’s knees hit the steps and he tumbles over! Darby then runs up the steps to SHOTGUN Konosuke down!

The fans fire up while both men are down on the floor! Konosuke checks his knee before he crawls around, and Darby gets in the ring so he can build speed! Darby DIVES! Direct hit on Konosuke but Darby’s the one who hits the desk! The fans fire up while both men are down again, but Darby rises up to get Konosuke on the apron! Darby fires forearms, then goes up a corner! COFFIN- NO, Konosuke catches him for a SUPER BLUE THUNDER BOMB to the floor!! The fans go nuts again and Callis says that’s the end of Darby Allin, but Dynamite goes picture in picture.

The ref hurries to check Darby but Callis tells Doc Sampson to call it. Darby is somehow still in this, so Konosuke storms his way over. Konosuke drags Darby up, puts him in the ring, then paces around him. Konosuke runs the ropes to LARIAT! Darby flips inside-out, Konosuke covers him, TWO!! Darby still has fight inside but he’s also dazed. Konosuke clamps onto Darby with a chinlock and squeezes tight. Darby endures, even as Konosuke leans on him with his much-taller frame. Darby reaches out, fights around, and rises up, only for Konosuke to CANADIAN RACK BOMB! Darby sputters all over again while Dynamite returns to single picture.

Konosuke sits back as he watches Darby crawl to the apron. Konosuke storms his way over, but Darby RAMS low! Slingshot sunset flip, but Konosuke rolls through! Only for Darby to kick the legs out! Darby catches Konosuke to a GUILLOTINE! Konosuke endures the squeeze, fights up to his feet, and he powers out to THROW Darby! Darby lands out, fires shots, and RAMS low! Darby then hops on, but Konosuke stops Code Red! Konosuke swings Darby around, tucks him in, BASTARD DRIVER! And WHEELBARROW GERMAN! The fans fire up and Callis says that’s true power! Darby sputters again and Konosuke vows to end this.

Konosuke runs corner to corner, HELLUVA KICK!! Then he hoists Darby up top, climbs up after him, and goes to the very top! The fans freak out already for the SUPER DUPER GERMAN SUPLEX!! Bridging cover, TWO!!! Callis is freaking out as much as the fans, and he protests the count! Konosuke is furious, but he aims for the WAGAMAMA KNEE!!! Cover, TWO?!?! Darby survives by nanoseconds, and Konosuke is beside himself! “This is Awesome!” but now CLØN rushes out here! He distracts the ref, and Callis hurries to take the Dynamite Diamond Ring off his finger to put it in Konosuke’s hands! Konosuke thinks about it, but The Alpha has honor!

The fans cheer as Konosuke wants to do this his way! But then Darby runs up, cradles, TWO!! Konosuke escapes, ALPHA ELBOW!! Darby is down, dazed, but still moving! Konosuke drags Darby up again, goes back to the corner and back to the top rope. The fans hope these two “FIGHT FOREVER!” but it has to end somehow! Darby fights against the lift with headlock punches! Then he hops on, SUPER CODE RED!! Konosuke staggers up, Darby leg scissors, steps through, LAST SUPPER!! TWO?!?! Konosuke escapes again, then bails out! So Darby just goes up top! SUPER COFFIN DROP!! Direct hit and both men are down again!

The fans are thunderous as Konosuke and Darby stir. A ring count climbs, Callis complains that some people just gotta follow directions and run the play! Coach Callis pulled Konosuke outta obscurity, Konosuke would do anything! Now he’s got some gold, some fame, and gets a mind of his own! Callis complaining aside, the ring count is climbing! Darby drags himself in at 9, but Konosuke YANKS him back out! That refreshes the count, and Konosuke vows to end this for real now. Konosuke points to the steel steps, and he drags Darby up onto them with a deadlift RAGING- NO, Darby knees Konosuke, turns things around, and FULL METAL SCORPION DEATH DROP!!!

The fans go nuts again while Konosuke writhes! Konosuke flops off the steps, Darby crawls into the ring, and Darby just climbs the corner again! SUPER DUPER COFFIN DROP!!! Konosuke might be unconscious! Darby still hauls Konosuke into the ring, pushes him to a cover, TWO?!?!? Konosuke survives and Darby is furious! But Darby just reloads, COFFIN DROP but onto knees!!! Ghost pin, TWO!!! Darby escapes but the WAGAMAMA KNEE finds him!! Konosuke hauls Darby up, but Darby pops free! Trip, step through, and SCORPION DEATH LOCK!!! Konosuke endures, reaches out, but Darby sits deep!!

Callis says don’t even think about it! Konosuke almost does, but he bites his own thumb to ignore the pain in his back! Konosuke reaches out, crawls his way forward, and he fights to the ROPEBREAK!!! But Darby is right up top! COFFION DROP on the back!! Then Darby goes right back up, COFFIN DROP again!!! Cover, DARBY WINS!!

Winner: Darby Allin, by pinfall (still AEW World Champion)

Callis is steaming, but Darby overcomes Konosuke to avenge that loss in the Continental Classic! But it also took so much out of him just to do it! Darby still asks for a mic and one is brought to him. Darby sits up against the ropes, has them cut his music, and he tells MJF to get his ass out here! There’s a contract MJF needs to sign! The ring crew hurries to bring in a table and some chairs for that very contract signing, and MJF makes his entrance. MJF reluctantly makes his way down the ramp, and both men meet at the table. Darby grins with blood still in hiss teeth, and he signs his part of the contract without hesitation, unlike MJF.

The fans already chant “BALD! BALD! BALD!” at MJF, and Darby pushes the contract to his side of the table. MJF grabs the pen, reaches out, but then steps away. MJF scratches his chin as he thinks on this, and the fans just chant, “BALD! BALD! BALD!” again. MJF takes a mic to say he’ll explain something to Darby, looking like he has rabies. But see, MJF is happy for Darby, he hopes Darby’s had fun holding MJF’s AEW World Championship. The fans boo that, but MJF says deep down, there is a small part of him, like the size of a North Carolinian p*nis small. That small part of MJF feels bad for Darby, because he’ll never hold this again!

Darby’s got about a good a chance of holding this title as Hangman Adam Page does again. MJF says guys like Darby are a dime a dozen, here today and gone tomorrow, stuntmen who burn the candle at both ends. In this life, people like all these fans here like to pretend that life is about making friends and family and children. The only thing that matters in life is your legacy. And Darby’s legacy will be that of the kid who had his 15 minutes of fame. They’ll pretend like Darby made a lasting impact, but the fact of the matter is, he hasn’t. He hasn’t! They’ll know deep down that Darby Allin was just a little pr*ck who got lucky.

They’ll know that Darby was too reckless and stupid to stay on top. And after May 24th, Double or Nothing, in that sh*thole of Queens, New York, y’know what MJF’s legacy will be? He’ll go down as the guy who became a THREE-TIME World Champion at just 30 years of age, unprecedented in this sport. And MJF will go down, when it’s all said and done, as the Greatest of All Time! THAT is the difference between them! Darby Allin brags about climbing a mountaintop. But when it comes to professional wrestling, Maxwell Jacob Friedman IS the mountaintop! The fans boo but MJF soaks it up. Darby tells MJF to SHUT UP!

Only someone like MJF who is so vain would think that the number one most important thing in this world is his legacy. Darby doesn’t care about legacy, he cares about living in the moment! And in this moment, Darby just wants MJF to sign the contract. Then at Double or Nothing, Darby makes Maxwell Jacob Friedman a BALLD HEADED B*TCH!! MJF frowns but the fans cheer that! MJF grabs the pen again, and with no choice, he signs on the dotted line! Then he TACKLES Darby! The fans boo as MJF beats up Darby after the war he went through with Konosuke! MJF CHUCKS an armchair outta the ring, FLIPS the table, then picks up his Dynamite Diamond Ring.

MJF puts the ring on his finger like always, then winds up to DECK Darby!! The fans boo but MJF just soaks it all up. MJF throws off his jacket, picks up the belt, and he stands over Darby with it. But then MJF isn’t done with Darby, he puts Darby on the top rope! MJF climbs up to join him, and drags Darby into position! But wait! Kevin Knight runs out here to chase MJF off! The Jet still owes The Scumbag a receipt, but it seems we’ll all have to wait on that. Will MJF still take back the title at Double or Nothing? Or will Darby keep the belt and take MJF’s dignity?

My Thoughts:

An awesome episode for Dynamite as things heat up towards Double or Nothing. Awesome 10 Man Tag to open, great win for the Faces, not that it added much to FTR VS C&C. Good promo from Jericho to look back on Stadium Stampede and hype up this year’s match. Good promo from The Demand with Davis and The Dogs, and I suppose this maximizes the feuds as well as the alliances throughout the locker room. Who knows who wins but the match will still be awesome, just as the original was. Good promo from Conglomeration, too, Cassidy & Roddy going after FTR while Kyle VS Moxley happens on the side, that’s great stuff.

Speaking of Moxley, great promo from him and Ospreay. Moxley’s semi-turn has really brought out his sage philosophical side. Great match from Ospreay VS Ace, and while Ospreay could always bring out his aggression, seeing him use more technical wrestling and even winning with a submission is good stuff. Good promo from Joe, and I liked Death Riders backing Ospreay up. Very good Owen Hart Cup brackets this year, Joe VS Ospreay is a great choice given this story, but I would think Ospreay wins that one. Good promo from Jack Perry to call out Davis, and I suppose Jack can win in the Owen Cup to then move on from the National title.

Great seeing Brian Cage back, he gave Knight an awesome match, but with JetSpeed wanting to go on a Two Man Power Trip, it makes sense Kevin won out. Same for Bailey beating Westbrook, even though Westbrook maybe went too hard on his own acrobatic escape. Great stuff in the Six Woman Tag, and I appreciate Shida didn’t ditch until after the match. Willow, Mina & Rosa might get their own Six Woman Tag with Triangle of Madness after that interaction, but also can’t wait to see if Willow can go back-to-back as Queen of Harts. For that matter, I personally would love to see Athena use the Owen Cup to move on from being ROH Women’s World Champion, but that depends on how Supercard of Honor goes this Friday.

And of course, another wild instant classic from Darby as he overcomes Takeshita. I knew the diamond ring would come into play with that reverse effect, good way of protecting Takeshita in the loss. Good stuff with MJF tonight, too, such as the opening segment’s parade of bald men to send the message to MJF. That was also a unique contract signing segment in that it came together so quickly after the main event match. Good stuff from MJF as always, and of course he attacks Darby. I feel like either Knight should not have made the save, or both parts of JetSpeed should’ve made the save. It just seems odd that only Knight cared about saving Darby. The closing moment was much better when it was MJF standing over Darby with the belt.

My Score: 9/10

AEW National Championship: “Jungle” Jack Perry VS Mark Davis w/ Don Callis!

The Jurassic Express National Tour arrives in SoFi Center Arena, the same place the TGL takes place! But will Tarzan Life win this rematch from Dynasty? Or can Dunkzilla make good on this mulligan?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see if the Don Callis Family adds more gold to the collection!

The bell rings, the fans cheer, and Callis joins commentary to humble brag that he already played 42 holds with Ricochet, Tony Khan and Richard Goodell. Jack gets the fans to cheer for him, and to boo Davis. The two circle, Davis runs up but Jack dodges! Jack fires off forearms, Davis TOSSES Jack to a corner, and the fans already tell Callis off. Jack dodges Davis to CHOP, CHOP, and CHOP, but Davis turns things back around! Davis THROWS Jack away, but Jack comes back to SHOTGUN Davis! Jack then climbs up and rains down fists! Davis stops Jack at 5 as he lifts him off the corner! But Jack fights with more fists, and he RANAS Davis away!

Jack runs up, Davis pops him up to the apron, but Jack ENZIGIRIS! Jack goes up, up, but Davis slips under the jump! Davis runs up, but Jack dodges! Davis tumbles up and out of the ring, Jack goes up top, ARIHARA MOONSAULT! Direct hit and the fans fire up! Jack waves hi tot he camera, then he puts Davis back in the ring. Davis shoves Jack away, Jack dodges, and he SHOTGUNS Davis down! Davis flounders but Jack runs up again, and he uses the corner to swing, only for Davis to block! Davis LAWN DARTS Jack into the rope! Then LARIATS him down! The fans boo but Davis refreshes the ring count.

Davis storms over to Jack while the fans rally up. Davis drags Jack up, brings him around, and CHOPS! The fans “WOO~” as that one echoes out. Davis snarls as he stares into the camera, then he drags Jack up. Davis puts Jack in the ring, rolls in after him, and stalks Jack to ropes. The fans rally for Jack but Davis bends Jack back against the ropes! The ref counts, Davis stops at 4, but Jack CHOPS! And CHOPS! Davis eggs Jack on, so Jack CHOPS! Davis CHOPS Jack down! Davis soaks up the heat, then he goes back to Jack. Davis bumps Jack off buckles, then brings him around to TOSS across the way! Davis takes his time following Jack and kicks him around.

The fans rally for Jack but Davis is on him again. Davis whips Jack to ropes, but Jack slides under! JAWBREAKER! Davis wobbles, Jack goes to ropes, but Davis runs up. Jack BOOTS Davis, slips outside and ROCKS Davis again, then slingshots, but into a FOREARM! Davis then runs to BLAST Jack off the apron! The fans boo Davis but he soaks it up while Collision goes to break.

Ricochet hides, Davis deadlifts Jack, COUNT TO PAIN!! Cover, DAVIS WINS!

Winner: Mark Davis, by pinfall (NEW AEW National Champion)

Talk about a handicap! Callis AND Ricochet gave Davis quite a considerable one, and now Davis has his first singles title in AEW! The Jurassic Express National Tour has just been run off the road, but will Jack be able to get his revenge?

Collision returns, and Jack Perry is on the phone.

He tells someone, “Let’s do it. Thank you, guys.” Jack ends his call, then shows his frustration. Winning the National Championship in his hometown, in front of his friends and family, was one of the proudest moments of his entire life. And yet Ricochet and Callis had to end that for him. But he happens to know that Chris Jericho & The Hurt Syndicate are looking for two more partners for Stadium Stampede. And Jack go to thinking, the show is called Double or Nothing. So how about instead of two, Jack brings FOUR! The ELITE! Jack, The Bucks, and KENNY OMEGA! See you there. Ricochet may have just messed himself over, will he regret ever getting involved tonight?

Backstage interview with Don Callis, Mark Davis and Ricochet.

Renee Paquette is with the Jackal, Dunkzilla and the Bald Eagle as she says she was going to congratulate Davis on the title win, but after Jack putting out that news, what is their reaction? Callis says he’s thrilled! Jack just gifted him his ultimate fantasy! A chance to beat up Jericho, The Bucks AND Kenny, all on one night? Callis would’ve paid good money for that, and Jack, you dumbass, just gave it away from free! Ricochet says The Don Callis Family must be joining The Demand for Stadium Stampede. Well, given the way Ricochet just used that golf club, the National Champion will gladly stand beside him!

Ricochet says playing golf with Tony Khan has really improved his swing, so see you all there. Callis says yes, let’s go have a drink at the 19th Hole and talk about which of the many members of the Don Callis Family are going to join Ricochet in the slaughterhouse! Ricochet says oh yes, so many great choices to choose from! Callis & Ricochet head out, just how massive will this Stadium Stampede match get?

AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator: The Divine Dominion VS Ruthie Slay & Rachel Ley!

Megan Bayne & Lena Kross are so dominant, they don’t even think this match is going to last five minutes! But while there’s a time limit, will there be no limit to how devastating the Megasus & Aussie Amazon can be? Or will Slay & Ley manage to survive the day?

Two minutes and 15 seconds is all Slay & Ley got, will any team last even that long? Or will the Divine Dominion continue to dominate AEW until the end of time?

BREAKING NEWS for Double or Nothing!

The Triangle of Madness may have misted Persephone and injured Alex Windsor, but that only heaps on more trouble for the champion! Thekla must now defend her AEW Women’s World Championship in a FATAL 4 WAY! Thekla VS Jamie Hayter VS Kris Statlander VS Hikaru Shida, is The Toxic Spider about to get squashed? Or will she need her Sisters of Sin now more than ever?

BREAKING NEWS for Dynamite!

The annual tradition is back! The 2026 Owen Hart Memorial Tournament begins, with the brackets for both men’s and women’s divisions to be announced on Wednesday! Who makes the cut? And who will become the King & Queen of Harts?

Don Callis speaks, again.

“Just moments away from the AEW World title match between Darby Allin and Pac, and gentlemen, just wanted to let you know that the Don Callis Family, no matter who wins tonight, the Don Callis Family will be waiting for the winner. This Wednesday on Dynamite, the Don Callis Family will take the AEW World title from one of you. And y’know, it’s already been a great night, a big night, for the Don Callis Family! We won gold, but can’t wait to get some more. And on the subject of that, Okada has had to go to Japan to take care of some very important family business. But don’t worry, lads, because I have someone in mind to take his spot this Wednesday in the world title match.

“And it is none other than the firstborn of the Don Callis Family, Konosuke Takeshita, The Alpha!” Takeshita steps in, and Callis tells him, “You’re gonna be the world champion! If you listen to me like you always have, you will be successful, and you will finally fulfill the destiny that I had for you when I plucked you out of obscurity and made you the replacement for Kenny Omega. You’re the best wrestler in the world when you’ve got my game plan in your head. Go win the title.” Konosuke tells Don that he was going to take the International Championship, but now he is the person who will bring the world title back to the Don Callis Family! Unlike Okada.

Takeshita heads out, will he still make himself a double champion when he adds #PrettyPlatinum to the NJPW World Television Championship?

“Speedball” Mike Bailey w/ Kevin Knight VS Kiran Grey!

This match was on standby in case the Divine Dominion didn’t need all five minutes of their time, and now it’s a chance for Speedball to shine! But will he keep his momentum going from last Wednesday’s super show? Or will he get lost in the Grey Area?

Grey is already starting trouble as he pushes Bailey. The ref backs him off, then the bell rings. Grey runs up, but into a BOOT! Bailey then PENALTY KICKS, STANDING KNEE-SAULT, then Bailey waits on Grey. Grey ducks the buzzsaw and bails out! The fans boo but Bailey TRIANGLE JUMP MOONSAULTS! Down goes Grey and the fans fire up! Bailey daps it up with The Jet, then he climbs up the corner. But Grey goes after him! They brawl up top, Grey fires a flurry, but Bailey fires back! Bailey SHOVES Grey down, takes aim, but Grey hits the ropes! Bailey is tripped up onto his speedballs, but Grey dribbles him off the buckles!

Grey CLUBS Bailey into a Tree of Woe, then soaks up the heat before he stomps Bailey! Grey tells Bailey to stay down but Bailey grabs  that leg! Bailey uses that to drag himself back up, and he ROCKS Grey again! Bailey dribbles Grey off buckles, then HEADBUTTS him! Grey falls, Bailey takes aim, ULTIMATE WEAPON! Cover, Bailey wins!

Winner: “Speedball” Mike Bailey, by pinfall

A fast win for Speedball, and Knight gets the mic. he says he likes that! Speedball is red hot right now. And though The Jet didn’t get two belts on Wednesday, he’s still the Face of TNT. Now, the future of AEW is wide open, so why not they make it to the top together? They shake hands on it, will JetSpeed shift gears to become a Two Man Power Trip? What belt(s) will they aim for next?

AEW World Championship No Count Outs Match: Darby Allin VS PAC!

Anticipating how wild this one can get given the nature of their grudge, AEW decided to remove some of the obstacles standing in their way. They can’t do anything they want, but they can definitely go anywhere they want here in the SoFi Center! But will Darby even up the career series between them? Or will it be 3-1 in favor of The Bastard?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who takes this belt to Dynamite!

The bell rings and the fans rally behind Darby. Darby hops outside already, and he goes around the crowd to be on the golfing green! This is No Count Outs, so he wants to take full advantage of it already! He dares Pac to join him, so Pac heads over to the green! They fire hands on the rough and the fans fire up! Darby ducks, fires hands then HEADBUTTS Pac down! Darby brings Pac up but Pac BACKDROPS Darby! Pac then brings Darby closer to the bunker! Pac suplexes, Darby fights free, and he fires hands! Darby runs up, CODE RED into the sand trap! The fans go nuts seeing what is surely the first one of those ever!

Pac gets himself out of the sand and ends up on the fairway. Darby pursues, runs up, and ROCKS Pac1 they’re near another sand trap, and Darby SHOTGUNS Pac into the sand! The fans cheer “A E DUB! A E DUB!” for making this madness a reality! Darby goes after Pac, but Pac throws sand in Darby’s eyes! Pac then hauls Darby up to BELLY2BELLY SUPLEX Darby into the sand trap! Darby sputters, but Pac clamps on the BRUTALIZER! The ref reprimands, this isn’t Falls Count Anywhere! But fans know “This is Awesome!” as Pac makes Darby suffer! Darby sputters again as Pac lets him go, then shakes out the sand in his boots.

Pac drags Darby up with a headlock, but then decides to fireman’s carry! And gorilla press to THROW Darby back into the bunker! The fans boo but Pac soaks up that heat. Darby sputters and coughs while Collision goes picture in picture.

Darby sputters as he sits up, but Pac brings him back around. Pac brings Darby around, dumps him down, and soaks up more heat. Pac then brings Darby along the fairway, CLUBS him on the neck, and stalks him as they return to the crowd. They then return to ringside, then the ring itself, and Pac covers, TWO! Darby toughs it out, but Pac stalks him to the corner. Pac uncovers a crossbar before he stands Darby up. Fairway to Hell returns to single picture as Pac tiles the tag rope to Darby’s chain necklace! Darby can’t get free before Pac BOOTS him! The ref reprimands, but Darby SPITS at Pac! Pac takes that defiance and BOOTS Darby again!

Pac then has Darby’s legs, and YANKS him from the corner! The tag rope breaks and Darby flounders around. Pac whips to then BACKDROP Darby 450 degrees! Pac then builds up speed, but Darby avoids the lariat! The fans fire up as Darby slingshots back in and dragon sleepers for the SCORPION DEATH DROP! Cover, TWO! Pac and Darby are both down while the fans rally up again. Darby crawls to a corner, climbs up top, and he watches Pac rise. Pac turns around, but he manages to trip Darby up first! Pac then climbs up after Darby, hauls him up, and SUPER DUPER FALCON ARROWS! Cover, TWO!! Darby survives and the fans fire up again!

Pac frowns while Darby flounders out of the ring. The fans rally for Darby while Pac takes his time going to the outside. Pac looks under the ring, and he brings out a table! The fans cheer but the ref reprimands, this isn’t No Disqualifications! Pac still sets the table up nearby, making sure it lines up with the corner. Pac puts Darby on the table, then climbs up said corner. The fans freak out, anticipating what Pac is planning, and he steadies himself as he takes aim. Pac SUPER SHOOTING STARS but only gets table!! Darby avoids disaster, and Pac is somehow still in this after his crash landing! Darby puts Pac in, trips him, and steps through!

The fans fire up as Darby steps over, SCORPION DEATHLOCK!! Pac endures, reaches out, but Darby sits deep! Pac fights, claws, reaches out, and powers his way forward! ROPEBREAK! Darby lets Pac go, and Pac waves to the back. Well, of course The Death Riders are here! Darby spots Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia & Marina Shafir storming down the aisle, but then Pac CLOBBERS him! A distraction tactic is good enough as Pac now turns the proverbial tables. Then he signals for them to get something, and they bring out another table! The fans chant, “On The Green!” but Pac doesn’t care about that. He scoops Darby to go up the steel steps!

The fans boo as Pac tucks Darby in, TOMBSTONE on the steel steps! The fans go nuts as Darby flops to the floor! Wait, wait, wait, now The Death Riders have STACKED tables?! Pac smirks as he brings Darby back up, and he fireman’s carries Darby to bring him over. Darby goes to the backstage area while Collision goes picture in picture.

Pac carries Darby all the way around to the backstage area, because this is the only place to get upstairs! Pac SMACKS Darby off a wall on the way to the stairs, and the ref reprimands while Pac scares off curious fans. Pac drags Darby up the stairs with a headlock, and they go to the upper deck! Pac brings Darby past the nice bar and lounge area, the ref and Death Riders making sure fans don’t get too close. Pac SMACKS Darby off another wall, then drags Darby through this VIP seating area to go to the balcony. Pac stomps Darby to keep him down, then drags him to the balcony railing! And lo and behold, those stacked tables are right there!

The ref reprimands and the fans are freaking out already, but Pac is looking to toss Darby! Darby clings to the railing but Pac CLUBS him. Pac then drags Darby up, but Darby fires body shots! Fairway to Hell returns to single picture as Darby fights desperately! Darby CLAWS Pac’s back, but Marina shouts at Darby! The ref keeps her back, but that lets Pac LOW BLOW Darby! The Problem continues to be just that, but also the insurance policy for the Death Riders! Pac stands Darby up, and THROWS him off!! Darby crashes down through the tables!!! The fans lose their minds all over again while Pac hurries to go back downstairs!

AEW medical staff is already checking Darby as he’s down in the wreckage, but Pac says screw that! He fireman’s carries Darby and puts him back in the ring! Pac covers, TWO!!! Darby survives and the fans are thunderous! Pac and The Death Riders are in shock! Pac falls back to a corner as he shakes his head. Pac argues with the ref, but 2.99 still isn’t 3! Pac winds up, but Darby LOW BLOWS! And BELT SHOTS!! Darby gets Pac in place, goes up top, COFFIN DROP!! Cover, DARBY WINS!

Winner: Darby Allin, by pinfall (still AEW World Champion)

Pac said it himself, Darby is the indestructible boy! But can Darby keep this up? Or will The Alpha come through on his promise and bring this title back to the Don Callis Family this Wednesday?

My Thoughts:

A great hour of AEW here as this special edition of Collision, though “Fairway to Hell” is such a random thing to begin with. They must’ve made a business deal with SoFi and TGL, which to me might be more AEW helping TGL get noticed on a national scale. And changing the status quo with the National Championship was quite the surprise, but that’s still great for Davis. Ricochet being the reason why, and then that compelling The Elite jumping into Stadium Stampede is a bit convoluted. I get they’re using continuity of how Kenny hates Callis and vice-versa, but it undercuts what I was hoping for in Hurt Syndicate getting to introduce new members. But hey, 7v7 is pretty wild, too.

I appreciate Divine Dominion adding something to their squash matches with that five minute goal. Slay & Ley already set a good time with over two minutes, and I’m sure two minutes will be the average as they just dominate all summer. And it seems Alex Windsor is gonna be out a little longer than expected, given that adjustment for Double or Nothing. A Fatal 4 Way is still good for how Thekla can use her challengers against each other, or be protected in a loss if they choose. It also helps bring in the Shidalander story, but it also feels like we’re skipping chapters. That Fatal 4 Way can probably get us to the team breaking up and Shida turning on Statlander for their own feud.

Bailey VS Grey probably was a legit standby match, that went quick. And Knight had a decent promo saying he and Bailey are still gonna be JetSpeed going for all the gold. Not sure if that comes true or just sets things up for the team to fall apart. And then a really wild main event with the “No Count Out” match. They probably could’ve just called that No Holds Barred but they wanted to add heat on how The Death Riders were cheating the second half of that match. Both table spots were risky, but obviously Darby did the crazier one. AEW really needs to be careful not to push it much further than that, though.

Then the news of Okada being out for Dynamite, hopefully it’s nothing too tragic with his family. But Takeshita as the substitute is a good choice, this helps build the Okada VS Takeshita match at the same time as building Darby up. Pretty sure MJF accepts the terms of Title VS Hair, and it’d be very MJF if he were to announce that while attacking Darby to close the show on Wednesday.

My Score: 8.8/10
