The fans cheer, Mansoor says he is Strong Style now! He RAMS Ishii, but Ishii doesn’t budge! Mansoor fires a forearm, but Ishii DECKS him! The fans fire up behind Ishii and he brings Mansoor over. Ishii CHOPS Mansoor, tags Hologram, and Conglomeration double whips Mansoor to ropes.

Mansoor comes back, Hologram hurdles and Ishii ROCKS Mansoor! Hologram SOBAT! Ishii BLINDSIDE LARIAT! Hologram ENZIGIRI! Ishii GERMAN SUPLEXES! Hologram STANDING MOONSAULTS! Mason stands on Ishii, stomps him, then drags Ishii up. Mason throat chops Ishii, puts him in the corner, and tags Mansoor. The fans rally but MXM double whip to ropes. They DOUBLE ELBOW, then POSE! Then finger tip touch DOUBLE ELBOW DROP! Cover, TWO! Ishii is tougher than that but Mansoor clamps on with a neck wrench! Mansoor says Ishii has no neck! Ishii fires elbows but Mansoor CLUBS him down! Tag to Mason, MXM double whip to drop toehold. Mason goes up the ropes, ELBOW FLOP as Ishii moves! Hot tag to Hologram! The fans fire up, and Mason hurries to tag Mansoor!

Hologram rallies on Mansoor, then sweeps the legs! BASEMENT FLATLINER! The fans fire up and Hologram kips up to then BASEMENT DDT! Mansoor tumbles out, Mason runs in, buy Hologram dodges to tilt-o-whirl! Mason stops that, pops Hologram up, but Hologram RANAS after all! Springboard CROSSBODY! Down goes Mason, Hologram runs, but he avoids Johnny’s attempt to trip him up! Hologram then flips up and over the top to RANA Johnny! Hologram then dodges Mason, dodges, and DIVES onto Mansoor! The fans fire up with Hologram, he runs up to RAM Mason! Hologram goes up, up, and MISSILE DROPKICKS!

Mansoor is back, Hologram dodges, SPANISH FLY outta nowhere! Cover, Mason drags Hologram away! Mason ripcords, URENAGE! Hologram is down but Ishii is in! Ishii fires boxing elbows, then he runs to LARIAT! Mason stays up!? And he HEADBUTTS Ishii down! Mansoor is in and says let’s kill ’em! CENTER- NO, Hologram rolls Mansoor to SUPERKICK! Ishii sends Mason into a SUPERKICK! Then Ishii reels Mason in! Mason is pretty big, so Hologram helps for the suplex! Mansoor is up top! He leaps, Hologram dodges, FOREARM! HEEL KICK! LARIAT! The Conglomeration fires up and Ishii hoists Mansoor up!

Hologram is up top as Ishii hits the BRAINBUSTER! Hologram tightrope walks to 450 SPLASH! Cover, Conglomeration wins!

The Code of Honor is not upheld as Blake shoves Jimmy instead. The bell rings, Blake “tastes the ice cream,” but Jimmy takes off his glove. Jimmy SLAPS Blake with it, then he ducks the haymaker. Jimmy waistlocks, Blake switches, then Blake shoves, hurdles, and drops down to DROPKICK! Blake kips up and struts while the fans are torn. Then Blake SLAPS Jimmy! Big Shotty says that’s the way, and Blake mockingly says welcome back, Jimmy. Blake pats Jimmy on the head, but Jimmy shoves Blake. Blake swings, misses, and Jimmy SLAPS! Jimmy JABS, JABS and ROCKS Blake! Jimmy clinches, Blake shoves free, but Jimmy ducks the lariat.

Jimmy rolls back, headscissors, and he swings to RANA Blake away! The fans fire up and Blake goes to a corner. Blake runs up, Jimmy DUMPS him out, but Blake drags Jimmy down! ROH shares Paul Walter-Hauser’s comments from the No-Contest Wrestling Podcast.

The current Progress Wrestling Proteus Champion brought up his time with AEW & ROH, though it was mostly broadcasting. He brings up the incident with QT Marshall. A great wrestler, cut his teeth in ROH, but he threw an alcoholic drink in PWH’s face! PWH is three years sober and hitting four years this Fall. In his head, QT did all that on purpose just to get at him. But PWH will manifest this: He’s been talking with TK, he wants QT! Will we see these two fight at Death Before Dishonor?

Pure Rules: Virus VS Xelhua!

The crossover with CMLL takes a new angle as El Pequeno Maestro (The Little Master) and The Young Giant compete under these special rules. To review: each man is allowed three ropebreaks, but after that, there is no saving them from a pinfall or submission; no closed fists to the face, but you get a warning on your first offense, and the second is an immediate disqualification; absolutely no one ringside, and violations result in fines or even suspension; there is a time limit, and should that expire, our three judges backstage will determine who won on points. The Code of Honor must be adhered to here, and so Virus y Xelhua oblige. The bell rings, and we see who is most Pure!

The fans rally as the two circle. They feel things out, tie up, and Xelhua gets a hold of Virus’ arms. Xelhua wrenches both arms at once to tie Virus up! The fans applaud as Xelhua wrenches the other way, but Virus trips Xelhua up. Virus has the standing toehold, but Xelhua gets a leg to trip Virus! Xelhua hooks a leg for a TWIST! Even the fans wince at that one as Virus endures. The fans rally, Virus kicks with the free leg and has Xelhua down. Virus hooks the leg up to SNAP LOCK it! The fans applaud while Xelhua endures. Xelhua moves around but Virus SNAP LOCKS it again! Xelhua rolls and powers up to trip Virus again!

Xelhua stands and grabs Virus’ arms. Xelhua steps over to twist them up again, and he SNAP LOCKS into a DOUBLE ARMBAR! Virus endures, fights around, and uses his legs to hook Xelhua. Virus gets up, wrenches a wristlock and he wrangles Xelhua right down! Virus drops a KNEE on Xelhua’s elbow! Then he ties Xelhua’s arms up in his own straitjacket hold! Virus sits on the arms to trap them! Xelhua pops one free, drags Virus down, and he steps over to hook a leg! Xelhua has both arms, but instead of a Queen Angelito, he rolls to make this a SURFBOARD BRIDGE! Virus endures being stretched, but his shoulders are also down! Cover, TWO as Virus manages to pop free!

Both men hurry to their feet and the fans cheer this incredible exchange! We’re already two minutes deep as the two reset. Virus TACKLES Xelhua, has the leg, DEATHLOCK! Xelhua endures being bent sideways and the fans rally up. Xelhua powers through to grab Virus’ arms and he reels Virus in! DOUBLE ARMLOCK and a HEEL HOOK! Virus is practically a pretzel but he endures! It’s a bit of a stalemate, Virus has nowhere to go but he isn’t going to give in, so Xelhua sets Virus free. Virus CLUBS Xelhua, waistlocks, but Xelhua rolls free. Virus facelocks, Xelhua rolls free, repeat. Virus floats to a waistlock, then back to the facelock!

Xelhua hooks a leg to throw Virus down for a cover! ZERO, and both men stand up! The fans cheer this newest standoff as we hit 3:25! The two go again. Xelhua headlocks for the takeover! Virus slips free, has the arm, but Xelhua rolls. Virus covers, TWO! Both men stand, the fans applaud again, and these two reset. They circle, Virus TACKLES Xelhua, runs, but he jumps over the dropdown. Xelhua runs up, Virus sweeps the legs to cover, ZERO! Xelhua sweeps but Virus reaches up to RANA! The fans fire up and Virus runs up. Xelhua counters hip toss with a HIP TOSS, then he stands Virus back up.

Xelhua has both of Virus’ arms again, but he slips under Virus’ right side to then trap those arms against Virus’ body! Xelhua CLUBS Virus, then ties up the legs, and Xelhua lifts Virus off the ground! The fans cheer this wild cradle stretch, but Virus powers his way to a sunset flip! TWO and the fans cheer! Virus runs up, arm-drag but Xelhua BOOTS him away from the lateral press. Virus trips Xelhua, steps through and rolls, REVERSE FIGURE FOUR! ROPEBREAK! Xelhua uses his first and we pass five minutes! Virus whips, Xelhua reverses to CLUB, scoop, and BACKBREAKER! The fans fire up as Xelhua trips Virus again!

Xelhua ties up the legs, and he has a Cloverleaf Stack! Cover, ONE, but into a FLOATING CLOVERLEAF! The fans fire up, Virus reaches out, ROPEBREAK! Virus uses his first and the fans applaud. Xelhua stalks Virus to a corner, whips him corner to corner, then he runs in, only for Virus to go outside! Xelhua hits buckles, still takes a swing, but Virus blocks the lariat. Virus flips up and over the top rope! But Xelhua blocks the takedown and KICKS Virus’ leg out! OKLAHOMA ROLL! TWO, and the fans fire up as we pass six minutes. Xelhua rolls Virus, TWO! Virous traps an arm and drags Xelhua into the SEATBELT! TWO!!

The fans rally up and Virus storms back up. Virus wrenches, INVERTED GORY ESPECIAL, VERTEBREAKER!! Cover, ROPEBREAK!! Xelhua uses his second, the only way he could’ve survived! Virus CHOPS Xelhua, the fans cheer, and Virus CHOPS again! Virus whips, Xelhua ducks ‘n’ dodges to DROPKICK! And DROPKICK again! Xelhua hooks Virus up for a NORTHERN LIGHTS! Bridge, TWO, roll through! Xelhua uses his leg to SHOELACE NELSON! Xelhua also hooks up the legs, SPLADE STRETCH!! VIRUS VERBALLY TAPS! Xelhau wins!

ROH World Championship: Bandido VS Adam Priest!

The Most Wanted may have an AEW World Tag Team Championship #1 Contenders Tournament to worry about, but he still needs to fulfill his duties as THE champion of ROH! Will Bandido be able to deal with this one quickly? Or will underestimating the Deadlock Pro-Wrestling Champion cost him?

An interesting note: The Workhorsemen, JD Drake & Anthony Henry, see Adam out to the ring. Could the hard-working duo turn into a blue collar trio? The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see if The Outlaw can handle #AnyStyle!

Bandido rolls off Adam’s back, and he shows the finger gun! The fans cheer Bandido, but Adam runs up! Bandido dodges, RAMS, then springboards to FLYING BACK ELBOW! The fans fire up, Bandido DROPKICKS Adam! Bandido has Adam and brings him around to CLUB him.

Bandido puts Adam in a corner, RAMS him, then RAMS again. The ref counts, Bandido stops at 4, and the fans rally up. Bandido suplexes, he holds Adam up, and he counts along with the fans! Bandido goes past TEN, then past TWENTY, all the way to THIRTY before the SLAM! The fans fire up and Bandido covers, TWO! Adam toughs it out but the blood did rush to his head. The fans rally up and Bandido nods. Bandido brings Adam up, ducks a shot from Adam, then ROCKS him! Bandido runs, springboards, but Adam DROPKICKS him outta the air! Cover, TWO! Adam snap suplexes, covers, TWO!

Adam is annoyed while Bandido bails out. Adam goes outside to storm up on Bandido. The fans rally but Adam THROWS Bandido into the apron! Adam refreshes the ring count while the fans rally behind Bandido. Adam then drags Bandido up and runs him into the barriers! Adam leaves Bandido behind to let the count climb, and Bandido is up at 5 of 20. Bandido rolls in, and Adam stomps him down! Adam clamps onto Bandido with a CAMEL CLUTCH! The fans boo Adam, especially as he CLAWS Bandido’s eyes! Bandido endures the hold, but Adam HIP DROPS him down! Bandido writhes and the fans boo but Adam stomps Bandido more.

Adam drags Bandido up by his hair, the ref reprimands, but Adam UPPERCUTS! Adam CLUBS Bandido, stomps him, then pushes Bandido around. Adam scuffs Bandido’s face with his heel! Cover, TWO! Adam keeps on Bandido with an armlock and he grinds the shoulder. The fans rally up, Bandido fights up, but Adam CLUBS him! Adam CLUBS Bandido but Bandido fires up! Adam fires forearms, the fans rally, but Adam fires more shots! Bandido fires back! They go forearm for forearm, then Bandido gets the edge! Bandido winds up, but Adam blocks and ROCKS Bandido in return! The fans boo but Adam soaks up that heat.

Adam stalks Bandido, drags him up, but the fans tell Adam off. Adam shoves Bandido and ROCKS him in the lower back! Adam taunts the fans that he doesn’t know Spanish, he doesn’t know what that means. Adam shoves, but Bandido dodges! Bandido KNEES Low, then whips to gorilla press and SLAM! The fans fire up, Adam goes to a corner, and Bandido runs in for a BOOT! SNAP POWERSLAM! DROPKICK! Bandido fires up, the fans are with him, and cover, TWO! The fans rally for Bandido as he drags Adam to a drop zone. Bandido goes up, up, and Latino Heat for the FROG- NO, Bandido rolls through as Adam dodges!

Adam lifts for a BACKBREAKER! Cover, TWO! Bandido toughs it out but Adam tells Bandido he ain’t him! Adam mocks Latino Heat, then he drags Bandido back up. The fans rally up as Adam suplexes! That’s Uno Amigo! The fans boo but Adam hits Dos Amigos! But Bandido suplexes in return! Bandido tells Adam this is how you do it! Bandido puts Adam on the ropes to whip and scoop, torture rack and X KNEE! Adam sputters, Bandido sees him go to the ropes! Bandido runs, deals the hand, but Adam swings! Bandido dodges, but Adam CHOP BLOCKS! HALF CRAB!! The fans boo but Adam has his favorite hold!

Bandido endures, reaches out, Adam angles it as a CROSS CRAB! The fans rally and Bandido fights forward to the ROPEBREAK! The fans cheer, the ref counts, but Adam SMASHES the knee as he lets off. The fans boo and the ref reprimands but Adam just soaks it all up. Adam stomps Bandido on the back, drags him to the drop zone, and he again mocks Latino Heat. FROG SPLASH but Bandido moves! Bandido POP-UP CUTTERS! Then a SHINING WIZARD! Bandido puts Adam in the drop zone, goes up top, and he tries this again! FROG SPLASH!! Cover, Bandido wins!

Winner: Bandido, by pinfall (still ROH World Champion)

The man from Battleground was ready for this battleground, but he was not able to overcome! But Bandido shows him respect by offering the Code of Honor. Adam calms down, and he shakes Bandido’s hand. Will Adam Priest be back for another try some day? Will The Most Wanted still be champion when that day comes?

My Thoughts:

A very good ROH, especially for the special schedule change where Collision is on after. As such, Bandido has two matches in one day but that’s kayfabe, this stuff was recorded last week. I’m very surprised Bandido defended his title at all, and Adam Priest was a rather random choice, but Adam Priest was also a great choice. He’s DPW Champion because he’s an all-around great wrestler. Great win for Bandido, and given Adam had the Workhorsemen with him, maybe Adam sticks around ROH for a stretch to do trios stuff alongside JD & Henry.

Great opening tag from Hologram & Ishii VS MXM Collection, but of course Hologram & Ishii won. Not just because MXM are just kinda comedic Heels right now, but because Hologram’s win streak is gonna continue until he’s finally fighting for a title. I skipped Gringo Loco VS Jon Cruz but that was a pretty good match from both guys. Very good match from Blake Christian VS Jimmy Jacobs, but I feel like the crowd didn’t really understand the significance of Jimmy returning to action here. And that Pure Rules match from Virus VS Xelhua was awesome, Xelhua has that technical wrestling arsenal like TJP or Zack Sabre Jr, and he could have an all-time match with Lee Moriarty.

My Score: 8.7/10
