Philly’s Finest wishes he could get payback on Keanu Carver himself, but he’ll have to settle for watching the main event like everyone else. In the meantime, he gets a chance to bring down the stylish skyscraper that hangs around with Zayda Steel, Jackson Drake & Swipe Right! Will Mathers make his mark? Or will it be party time for the VIPs?

The bell rings and the fans rally behind Marcus. Marcus and Bryce tie up, and Bryce powers Marcus back. Marcus slips free, then headlocks, but Bryce powers up. Marcus holds on tight but Bryce still powers out. Marcus redirects, waistlocks, then headlocks. Bryce powers up and out to CLOBBER Marcus! The fans boo but the Vanity Project cheers, and Bryce scoops to SLAM Marcus! Bryce puts Marcus in a corner, runs in, but Marcus manages to go up and over. Marcus comes back, dodges Bryce, then ELBOWS him! Marcus goes up, up, and CROSSBODIES! Cover, ONE!! Bryce is tougher than that, but Marcus runs to tilt-o-whirl!

Bryce stops the DDT and lifts Marcus up! Marcus slips free, STUN- NO, Bryce blocks that, too! Bryce RAMS Marcus into the buckles, face first! The ref has Bryce back off so he can check Marcus. Marcus says he’s still in this, so Bryce BOOTS him to the floor, onto a cameraman! The Vanity Project cheers but the fans boo as Bryce goes out to fetch Marcus. Bryce puts Marcus in the ring and CLUBS him down! Bryce then CLUBS Marcus again! Marcus writhes, Vanity Project taunts him, and Bryce drags Marcus up. Bryce clamps on with a COBRA TWIST! Marcus endures and the fans rally up. Marcus fires elbows into Bryce’s leg, but Bryce pulls on the hold!

Bryce CLUBS Marcus down, then drags him back up to back suplex! Marcus lands out, and he CHOPS! And CHOPS! And CHOPS! The fans fire up and Marcus has Bryce in the corner as the CHOPS keep going! The ref counts, Marcus whips corner to corner, but Bryce reverses. Bryce runs in, Marcus dodges, and the boot gets stuck! Bryce gets loose but Marcus dropkicks the legs! Then he DROPKICKS Bryce down! Bryce gets up but Marcus LARIATS! Marcus whips, Bryce reverses again, but Marcus goes up the corner to FLYING STUNNER! And then a basement DROPKICK! Cover, TWO! Bryce survives and Vanity Project is relieved.

The fans rally up and Marcus clamps onto Bryce with a facelock. Marcus brings Bryce up, CLUBS away, then hooks a leg. Bryce powers out of the Fisherman but Marcus dodges the lariat. But not the POP-UP BOMB! And the FALLING FOREARM! Cover, TWO! Bryce runs to LARIAT! Cover, TWO!! Marcus survives the onslaught and the fans fire up! Vanity Project coaches Bryce to keep on Marcus, and Bryce pie faces Marcus around. Bryce seethes, drags Marcus up, and he choke grips for the CHOKE- NO, Marcus victory rolls through! TWO, and Marcus dodges a lariat! HOOK KICK! The fans fire up while Vanity Project freaks out!

Marcus hurries to a corner and he climbs up! But that’s when Swipe Right springs into action! They distract Marcus, Bryce gets up and heads for the corner. Marcus leaps over Bryce, runs back in, but Bryce puts him on the apron. Marcus GAMANGIRIS Bryce away! Smokes gets on the apron, Marcus BOOTS him down! Then he PENALTY KICKS Brad! The fans fire up and the ref reprimands Vanity Project. Marcus fires up, builds speed, but Zayda stands in the way! The fans boo as The Real Deal is a real pain in the butt. But Bryce gets Marcus with a BLACKHOLE SLAM! Cover, Bryce wins!

You might as well say The Vanity Project won, because they always make things feel like a Handicap Match. But will nothing stop the frustrating five from taking over Evolve?

Timothy Thatcher talks with Sean Legacy.

Sean asks how the player-coach is feeling, and Thatcher says, “Pretty sore. Still pretty banged up.” Sean says he’s got Thatcher, he’ll make Keanu Carver pay. It still pisses Sean off what he did. Thatcher appreciates that, but says Sean can’t worry about what Keanu did to Thatcher or what he says about the WWE ID Program. Sean has to focus on Keanu, he’s a dangerous man. Sean knows that, he was in the ring with Keanu before. But Thatcher wants Sean to understand: Keanu is a dangerous man. Thatcher doesn’t feel like the same man after getting in there with Keanu. So Sean better be prepared physically and mentally, because Keanu’s gonna try to hurt him.

Sean says he hears Thatcher on that. Thatcher says he also believes Sean can fight through the pain and slay the monster. Damn right he can! They shake hands and Thatcher leaves Sean to it. Will Super Sean be just the hero the WWE ID Program needs?

Kali Armstrong is here!

The WWE Evolve Women’s Champion told Stevie Turner last week that she’s gonna stand on business and confront the woman that blindsided her three weeks ago, who also confessed she’s the woman that attacked everyone else backstage. Kali has a mic and says, “Hey man, listen up. I ain’t here to waste no time. Jin Tala, where you at? Where you at!? You up under the ring somewhere? You in the back trying to sneak me or something? I didn’t become the first ever Evolve Champion by sneaking people, by running up on ’em. Nah, see me? I faced all my competitors face to face, head to head. And you out here, trying to earn a title shot by running up on people and sneaking ’em.

“How ’bout you come say it to my face? Where you at, Jin?!” Jin doesn’t come out here, but Tyra Mae Steele does. The fans do applaud Miss America and she goes to the ring to tell Kali, “Oh my gosh, you sittin’ up here talking about Jin Tala. But I’m the one that won the Triple Threat two weeks ago. I’m the one you should be worried about, Tyra Mae Steele!” The fans cheer, and Tyra says Kali can keep worrying about Jin. But if she does, Tyra will be having more gold in her collection. Kali tells Tyra that nobody here knows who she is, and Kali doesn’t care who she is! But she needs to get up and out of the ring, because Kali just wants Jin Tala.

Tyra says if Kali doesn’t know who she is, she gonna find out! But wait, Jin is here after all. Jin smirks as she walks out and tells Kali, “Mock my methods all you want, but it clearly got your attention. I want that title as much as you want me. So I’ll give you what you want if I get what I want, and that’s the Evolve Women’s Championship.” Kali says nah, nah, Jin didn’t have to say it. She’s got that shot, let’s go! Tyra says hold on, hold on! Jin Tala attacking all these women, then think she can be handed a title match? Tyra won LFG, Jin got eliminated! Kali says nobody cares about LFG, this is the Evolve Women’s Champion! And as champion, Kali says Tyra can wait in line.

Tyra says she ain’t waiting in no more lines! Kali says she gonna! But then Jin SHOVES Tyra into Kali, and then SOBATS Tyra! Jin POSTS Miss America, then POSTS the Pride of Inglewood! The poisonous Pinay holds the title up high as she stands tall over two champions. Will she do as she promised and eliminate anyone and everyone until she reigns?

Backstage interview with Jamar Hampton.

Chuey Martinez talks with the sculpted Superhuman, and asks how he is doing. Jamar is good, what’s going on? Chuey likes the intensity and athleticism we’ve seen in the ring, and he’s about to face Jack Cartwheel tonight, an elite WWE ID Program prospect. Is Jamar ready for the whirlwind? Jamar says tonight is gonna be special. Two elite athletes, no fluff, all facts. And Jamar is the top dog in the WWE Performance Center. He holds EIGHT records in that gym that show he’ll get his hand raised. But Jack does have more experience, and is a human highlight reel, so Jamar needs to dictate the pace. Remember: This ain’t gymnastics, it’s Evolve!

Jamar heads out and Chuey says get ready for that match, it’s coming up next. But wait, now It’s Gal walks in to do his own resistance band workout. Gal says that was light work, but Chuey asks if Gal is copying Jamar. Gal says he doesn’t like Jamar, but it’s just like when he puts six plates on the bar: Grip and rip. Gal doesn’t like Jamar, but he hates Adrenaline Drip even more. Mr. Mint Condition heads out, Chuey asks who even invited that guy. But will Gal at least be pleased seeing one rival take out another?

Jamar Hampton VS Jack Cartwheel w/ Cappuccino Jones!

As sculpted and athletic as he is, The Superhuman still got cheated by Edris Enofe a month ago in his Evolve debut. Meanwhile, the team now known as Adrenaline Drip is coming off a hot win over It’s Gal & Sam Holloway. Will Jack keep that momentum going? Or will Jamar raise the bar with an upset?

The bell rings and the fans rally up. Jack and Jamar circle, tie up, and Jamar powers Jack to a corner. The ref counts, Jamar lets off, and he resets with Jack. Jamar rushes up but Jack goes Matrix! Jack kips up, the two tie up, and Jamar wrenches to a wristlock. Jack cartwheels, then slips through to waistlock then headlock. Jamar blocks the takeover and he lifts Jack! Jack holds on, goes up a corner, and hits a TORNADO TAKEOVER! Jamar kicks around, rolls Jack to a cover, ONE! Jack holds on, the fans rally, and Jack denies the headscissors. Both men stand, Jamar powers out and he CLOBBERS Jack!

The fans applaud the strength, but things speed up. Jack drops down, hurdles, then dodges to DROPKICK FLIP! Jack lands on his feet, but Jamar never leaves his! The fans fire up, Jack runs up, but Jamar dodges to JAPANESE ARM-DRAG! Jamar kips up and he DROPKICKS! Cover, TWO! The fans rally as Jack stays in this. Cappuccino coaches Cartwheel but Jamar SPLASHES! Jamar whips corner to corner but Jack dodges the splash this time! Jamar hits buckles, then Jack RAMS into him! Jack then FLAGPOLE LEG SWEEPS! And slingshots to SLAM STAND! Cover, TWO! Jamar stays in this but Jack stays on him with a mounted armlock!

The fans rally while Jamar endures. Jack bends and SNAPS the fingers! The fans rally more as Jamar fights up. Jamar fires body shots, Jack fires back, and they go forearm for forearm! Jamar ROCKS and whips to KITCHEN- NO, Jack turns the sink into a spin! Jack ties up the legs and has the DEATHLOCK! Then he bridges for the MUTA LOCK! Jamar endures as Jack thrashes around! The fans rally, Jamar claws at the mat, and he powers up to push up! But Jack lets go so he can flip Jamar over. Jamar BOOTS Jack away, then stands. Jack LARIATS, but Jamar stays up! Jack runs again to LARIAT, but Jamar roars!

Jack runs in, Jamar dodges, and Jamar DECKS Jack! And DECKS him again! Jamar blows through the lariat to FLYING UPPERCUT! Jamar runs to BLOCKBUSTER! Cover, TWO! Jack survives and the fans fire up! Jamar huffs ‘n’ puffs and he drags Jack up. Jamar fireman’s carries, but Jack fires elbows! Jack is free, he runs, but Jamar scoops to SLAM! The fans cheer, but Jack bails out of the ring! Jamar huffs ‘n’ puffs and goes to the ropes. Jamar PLANCHAS, but Jack slides into the ring! Jamar crash lands and the fans fire up! Jack builds speed and cartwheels into the FOSBURY FLOP! Down goes Jamar!

Jack puts Jamar in, aims again, and SLAM STAND SPLASHES! Cover, TWO! Jamar survives and fans love what they’re seeing! Jack runs, but into a FLAPJACK! Jamar puts Jack in a corner, then up top. Jamar climbs, he and Jack trade shots, then Jamar brings Jack up. Wait, Gal is ringside doing his workout now? Jamar is more confused than anything, but that lets Jack DECK him! Jack then adjusts to IT’S NOT A CARTWHEEL!! Cover, Cartwheel wins!

The spiral shooting star scores again and Jack Cartwheel has his first singles win in Evolve! But clearly, Jamar has one person to blame for this and It’s Gal, It’s Gal, It’s Gal. Will Gal regret being passive aggressive when Jamar gets aggressive aggressive?

Evolve hears from Zara Zakher.

The Pint-Sized Powerhouse says, “I’ve never been the biggest girl, or the one to stand out in a room. But I know my skills. I know I’m athletic. But have you seen that Evolve locker room? Those girls are insane, and it takes more to stand out. It takes courage. It takes courage to try, it takes courage to step out of your comfort zone. And after seeing that Evolve Women’s Championship match, I literally have no room for doubt. And I wanna see if I measure up. If I wanna be on NXT one day, if I wanna be Evolve Women’s Champion, I gotta set up the challenge and show why Zara Zakher belongs.”

Keanu Carver VS Sean Legacy!

Both men were in the WWE Evolve Championship Fatal 4 Way, and both men fell short. However, Keanu took it personal that the WWE ID Program stars, Sean Legacy and Jackson Drake, took him out together. Keanu blames the WWE ID Program rather than accepting failure, but will he have no choice but to accept both tonight? Or will Super Sean feel exactly what Thatcher felt fighting this monster?

The main event introductions are made and it’s time for even grudges to Evolve!

The bell rings and the two tie right up. Sean headlocks, Keanu lifts, but Sean holds on. Keanu powers out, Sean grabs ropes, and the two stare down. The fans rally up as the two circle. They tie up, Sean waistlocks, but Keanu is a lot to lift. Keanu powers Sean back towards a corner but Sean slips out of the way. Keanu hits buckles, and Sean CHOPS! That just pisses Keanu off! Keanu grabs Sean, TOSSES him to the corner, but Sean dodges to fire hands! The ref counts, Keanu SHOVES Sean down, then he CLOBBERS Sean! The fans applaud, and Keanu CHOKES Sean on the ropes. The ref counts, Keanu throws Sean away, and Sean goes to a corner.

Keanu storms up on Sean, whips him corner to corner hard, and Sean bounces off buckles to fall to the mat. Keanu drags Sean up, whips him back into the corner, but Sean goes up and out! Sean RAMS Keanu, goes up and in, then dropkicks the legs out! Then DOUBLE STOMPS! Then DROPKICKS! Keanu goes to ropes, Sean runs in, but Keanu FLAPJACK HOTSHOTS him! The fans are torn while Sean writhes. Keanu drags Sean up, scoops, and FALL AWAY SLAMS! Keanu talks trash, drags Sean up, then ROCKS him! Sean checks his chin and it’s still there. Keanu clamps onto Sean but tells the fans to shut up with the “Legacy” chants.

Sean fires body shots but Keanu CLUBS him to the ropes. Keanu talks trash, storms up on Sean, then brings him up. Sean fires body shots and haymakers, but Keanu ROCKS him again! Keanu stands on Sean at the ropes, the ref counts, and Keanu lets off. Keanu glares at the ref, but then drags Sean up. Sean SLAPS Keanu! The fans fire up, but Keanu TOSSES Sean out !Sean holds onto the ropes and skins the cat! Sean headscissors Keanu out of the ring! The fans fire up and Sean builds speed to DIVE! But Keanu catches him! Keanu scoops, but Sean slips free to POST Keanu! Then DRIVE-BY DROPKICK!

Sean gets back in the ring, builds speed, and DIVES! Direct hit this time and the fans fire up while Evolve goes to break!

Evolve returns and Sean has a waistlock. Keanu is still a lot to lift, and he elbows free! Sean goes to a corner, he BOOTS Keanu away, then Sean runs, but into a POUNCE! The fans fire up and Keanu is just as pumped! Keanu drags Sean up, Sean fires body shots again but Keanu CLUBS Sean! Sean fires hands, Keanu KNEES low, then Keanu drags Sean back up. Keanu puts Sean on the ropes, thrashes him, then YANKS him back! The fans rally, Keanu clamps onto Sean and pushes him to a cover, ONE! Sean grits his teeth but Keanu clamps on a COBRA CLUTCH! Keanu thrashes Sean around but Sean endures!

The fans rally, Sean fights up, and Sean fires hands! Keanu KNEES low again, and Sean goes to ropes. Sean ELBOWS Keanu away, runs up, but into a scoop! RIB BREAKER! Cover, TWO! Sean survives but he crawls to the ropes. Keanu watches Sean drag himself up, then runs in, and RAMS Sean into the corner! Keanu lets Sean fall, pushes him to a cover, TWO! The fans rally up as Sean stays in this. Keanu stalks Sean back to the ropes, whips him to a corner, then RAMS him again! Sean sputters and writhes but Keanu looms over him. Keanu scuffs him, pie faces him, and talks trash, but Sean fires more body shots!

Sean rises, fires haymakers, but Keanu clamps on with a BEARHUG! Sean endures, the fans rally, and Sean pries at the waistlock. Sean fires elbows, fights free, but Keanu scoops for a WORLD’S STRONGEST SLAM! Cover, TWO! Sean still lives and the fans rally behind him! Keanu pushes Sean around, goes to the corner, and VADER FLOPS as Sean moves! The fans fire up as Sean rises! Sean runs up and LARIATS! Keanu stays up so Sean LARIATS again! Sean runs, Keanu pops him up, but Sean SATELLITE DDTS! Both men are down and the fans fire up! Keanu and Sean both rise up, and Sean staggers back to Keanu.

Sean KICKS Keanu! And KICKS! And KICKS! Keanu just gets mad! Sean KICKS, KICKS, and SOBATS! FRONT KICKS! BOOTS! Keanu scowls and runs back up! But Sean sends him into buckles! ENZIGIRI! And then a GERMAN SUPLEX!! Sean finally lifts Keanu! Cover, TWO!! Keanu is still in this but so is Sean. Sean goes to the apron, springboards, but Keanu catches him! WAR HAMMER! Sean is down, Keanu covers, TWO!! Sean survives again and the fans rally up! Keanu seethes, clamps onto Sean again, and puts him back in the ropes. Keanu says he’s gonna mess him up like Thatcher! But Sean goes Spider-Man to SWING KICK Keanu!

Sean then runs up and SUPERKICKS! Keanu wobbles, Sean SUPERKICKS again! Keanu goes to a corner, Sean runs in, CORNER 619! Keanu gets hit in the back, Sean springboards and MISSILE DROPKICKS! Cover, TWO! Keanu is tougher than that and Sean is stunned! But Sean fires himself up and he goes for the torture rack! Keanu is up, but he pulls Sean’s ear! The ref reprimands, Keanu shoves Sean to then reel him back in! SLINGSHOT SUPLEX into a Canadian Rack!? Then a flip over, CARVED UP!! Cover, Keanu wins!!

As hard as he fought and as far as he pushed Keanu, Super Sean just learned that sometimes, the monster wins. Keanu says no one can touch him, no one can stop him! Will this Unstoppable Monster look to break even the likes of Jackson Drake?

My Thoughts:

A very good episode for Evolve, good set-up of stories here and there. Very good promo from Kali, Tyra Mae and Jin Tala, and they quickly established Kali VS Jin for the title with it. I feel like Tyra Mae gets involved somehow, as Kali isn’t losing but Jin can’t suffer a loss in power level after establishing herself as the top heel now. I also did appreciate that Tyra was the one to bring up the logic that Heels can’t keep getting what they want from attacking. Good opening match from Mathers VS Donovan but of course Vanity Project got involved. Even so, good win for Bryce, he doesn’t do as much as the others so he does need wins to stay strong.

Very good promos from Jamar and It’s Gal backstage, and just when I thought Gal was gonna pitch an odd couple tag team, he screws Jamar over in that match. Jamar VS Jack was great, great protected loss for Jamar, and Jamar VS Gal will be really good stuff. Gal’s got the charisma and mic skills as a Heel to help with the promos so that Jamar just has to react, and more or less tell Gal to shut up, then obviously Jamar will win the match. Good promo from Zara to speak to her underdog story, and surely the next time we see her in the ring, she’ll get a great win.

Good promo from Sean with Thatcher ahead of the main event, and then a great main event. I was a little surprised Sean lost, but Keanu being a beast, it makes sense without hurting Sean’s power level. Plus, Keanu calling out Vanity Project as his next target since they’re all WWE ID, that makes for some fun stuff. Keanu can bulldoze Swipe Right, give Bryce a run for his money, and then have his match with Jackson Drake. And while we don’t want to make the WWE ID “look weak,” Keanu is such a monster, no one can deny he should/will be a champion.
