Last week, we saw Karmen Petrovic leave Tyra Mae Steele #Petrofied, and that’s one less contender on the list. Tonight, Smiley Kylie and the Reflection of Perfection are fighting to stay in the title chase. Will the inaugural WWE ID Women’s Champion be that much closer to a second title? Or will the Showstopping Diva show us why she’s the real superstar?

The bell rings and Kylie offers a handshake. Chantel slaps it away, and the two tie up. Chantel wrenches to a wristlock, but Kylie rolls, only for Chantel to wrangle her to an armlock. The fans rally, Kylie fights up and around, but Chantel wrenches again. Chantel YANKS the arm, YANKS it again, then steps over for a HIP DROP! Kylie goes to ropes while Chantel fixes her hair. The fans rally for Kylie as she and Chantel reset. They circle, Chantel takes a swing but Kylie wrenches her and YANKS the arm! And YANKS, and YANKS! Kylie gives back the taunting while she grinds Chantel down. Chantel fights up and rolls, but Kylie wrangles her back down.

Kylie digs a knee into Chantel’s cheek, but Chantel fights up. Kylie wrenches, Chantel wrenches through and arm-drags, but Kylie keeps the wristlock! The fans rally, Chantel fights up, and Chantel breaks free to snapmare! Chantel chinlocks but Kylie slips out the back. The fans cheer as Kylie has the arm for a wristlock, but Chantel pulls Kylie’s hair! Chantel puts Kylie on the ropes, the ref counts, and Chantel lets go. Chantel swings, Kylie dodges, and she arm-drags! And arm-drags again! Kylie has the armlock and she grinds Chantel down. The fans rally, Chantel fights up, but Kylie puts on the pressure.

Chantel knees low, then headlocks for the takeover! The fans applaud, Kylie powers to a cover, ONE! Chantel holds on, Kylie fights up, and Kylie wrenches free to a headlock. Chantel powers up and out, but Kylie RUNS her over! The fans cheer, things speed up, and Chantel hurdles, only for Kylie to waistlock! O’Conner Roll, TWO! Kylie rebounds to basement DROPKICK! Cover, TWO! Kylie clamps onto Chantel with a chinbar and armlock. The fans rally, Kylie wrenches to a hammerlock, but Chantel reaches back to pull hair. They end up on the ropes, the ref counts, and Chantel lets go, to then ELBOW Kylie!

The fans boo, the ref reprimands, but Chantel puts Kylie in a corner for haymakers. Chantel stomps and ROCKS Kylie, then mockingly apologizes. Chantel drags Kylie up, whips, but Kylie reverses to send Chantel into buckles! The fans rally, Kylie whips Chantel side to side into more buckles! Kylie stomps Chantel, backs off, and runs back in, but Chantel puts her on the apron! Kylie GAMANGIRIS! Kylie goes up the corner, and FLYING ARM-DRAGS! The fans fire up, Chantel staggers, and Kylie DROPKICKS! Kylie storms up on Chantel, and she blocks a shot to ROCK Chantel! Kylie takes aim, but Chantel dodges the shoulder to KNEE Kylie in the ropes!

Chantel then turns Kylie, HOTSHOT NECKBREAKER! Chantel says to clap, then thanks the fans for clapping, and Evolve goes to break.

Evolve returns and Kylie whips, only for Chantel to reverse. Chantel reels Kylie in and hooks a leg, FISHERMAN SCREW! Cover, TWO! Kylie survives and the fans rally up. Chantel KNEES Kylie in the back again and again, then pushes her down for a KNEE DROP! Chantel huffs ‘n’ puffs and talks some trash as she stalks Kylie to a corner. Chantel snapmares Kylie, runs, and NECK SNAPPER! Cover, TWO! The fans rally, and Chantel clamps onto Kylie with a neck wrench. The fans rally as Kylie endures the pressure. Kylie fights up, pries at the hold, but Chantel CLUBS her down! Chantel then CLUBS Kylie again.

Chantel stands Kylie up again, hooks the leg, but Kylie spins free to backslide! TWO, but Kylie ROCKS Chantel! And ROCKS her again! And again, and again, and again! Chantel clinches, Kylie shoves her away, but Chantel slips out of the scoop! Kylie LARIATS! And LARIATS! Kylie roars, the fans cheer, and Kylie whips. Chantel reverses, but Kylie turns hip toss into arm-drag! Kylie handsprings, SKY DAY SPECIAL SUPERKICK! The fans rally as Chantel flounders away. Kylie rises, runs in at the corner, but Chantel BOOTS her! Chantel goes up and reels Kylie in! INVERTED TORNADO DDT! Cover, TWO!

Kylie survives and the fans fire up! This is why Kylie is WWE ID Women’s Champion! Chantel fireman’s carries, Kylie sunset flips it! TWO, Chantel sits on it, TWO! Kylie escapes in time, then dodges a lariat! Kylie tilt-o-whirls, clinches, but Chantel goes to the ropes! HOTSHOT! Kylie staggers, but Chantel runs, PERFECT ENDING! Cover, Chantel wins!!

Winner: Chantel Monroe, by pinfall (ELIMINATES Kylie Rae from contention)

Chantel cracked the code, and now Kylie has to settle for being a one belt champion. Chantel and Karmen are now neck and neck in the race, but who has a Kali Connection in their future?

Keanu Carver speaks.

It’s not if, it’s when I snatch the Evolve title from the hands of an ID Program clown and bring that title right back to the crib. And the way I see it, ain’t a damn thing standing between me and Jackson Drake’s goofy ass now.”

The Alpha Male is ready to carve up the Carolina Reaper, will he withstand the heat? Or will #HeartbreakDrake find a way to upset Keanu again?

Jackson Drake himself says, “Boys, look! Look what Keanu’s popping off about right now. This guy makes me nervous, he’s not right in the head, I swear.” Zayda Steel is more upset she lost to Layla Diggs. She is so much better than her! This is Bryce’s fault! Bryce says Zayda is better than Layla, though. This is the Real Deal, Zayda Steel! Just remember that, and she won’t need any of their help. Zayda says she ALWAYS needs help! Jackson gets spooked by her yelling, and Ricky Smokes asks if Bryce is bothering Zayda. She says yes, and Ricky says Bryce doesn’t need to talk to a lady like that. Brad Baylor says hundos, bro.

Smokes says normally, Vanity Project is the measuring stick of Evolve. But lately, to be honest, they’ve been real slippery, and that is what “they” wanna see! Brad says BIG hundos there. Jackson says “they” stay praying for Vanity Project’s downfall, but it won’t happen. Understand, Bryce? You fix it, you own it, and then everyone moves on, okay? Bryce says understood. They’re good. The team heads out, but Bryce hangs back just a second. Is Vanity Project (not) going to survive the Summer? We see how Brad & Ricky do in their WWE ID Showcase tag match up next!

Stevie Turner meets with Kali Armstrong in her office.

The Prime Minister of Evolve congratulates the Pride of Inglewood on her win over Jin Tala, she continues to be impressive. Kali moves right on to asking who is her next challenger, Karmen or Chantel. Because quite frankly, she’s already sick of both those “heifers” running their mouths. Stevie says both women won their title eliminators, so that means- Nikkita Lyons steps in and says the next woman Kali is facing will be #BigKat. Stevie says Nikkita is a little early, because as she was saying… Karmen and Chantel have scored huge wins. Nikkita says yes, she was watching, as she said she’d be.

And she also said that she’d be back, once the title needed a challenger. Nikkita let Natty slide cuz Natty’s the BOAT. But now, Nikkita Multimedia is here for gold. How do we set it up? Oh, so she’s throwing her name into the hat? Sure, sure. Kali doesn’t back down from anything. Stevie, just throw her a name and Kali will knock ’em down. Stevie says here is what we do: Kali VS Nikkita VS Karmen VS Chantel in a Fatal 4 Way! And it’ll be next week! Nikkita says fine, whatever. She’s got a studio session anyway, laters. Nikkita leaves, Kali thanks Stevie, and then Kali heads out. Stevie did her best to give everyone what they want, but who will be the one to actually get it?

Swipe Right VS Marcus Mathers & Aaron Rourke!

Brad Baylor & Ricky Smokes sure think they’re the best tag team in both the WWE ID and Evolve rosters, and they want to prove it so they can follow their boy, Jackson Drake, in getting some gold. But will everyone be ready to party with the Vanity Project? Or will Philly’s Finest and Perfection Personified become the perfect combination?

The teams sort out and Smokes starts against Rourke. The fans rally, Rourke eggs Smokes on, and the two tie up. Smokes hits a headlock takeover, denies the headscissors, but Rourke grinds his forearm into Smokes’ face. Smokes denies the headscissors again, keeps Rourke down, and traps the arm. Smokes flexes but Rourke pulls his ear! The fans cheer but the ref reprimands. Smokes breaks free, Rourke dodges the lariat and handsprings. Smokes dodges but Rourke DROPKICKS him! Rourke waistlocks, Smokes fights the lift and switches. Rourke ELBOWS free, then goes up the corner. Mathers tags in before Rourke’s FLYING ARM-DRAG!

The fans cheer while Smokes tumbles away, and Rourke sets up. Mathers uses him as as step to FLYING DDT! The fans fire up, Smokes tags Brad, and Brad kicks Mathers! Brad UPPERCUTS Mathers, CHOPS him, then whips corner to corner. Brad runs up, but Mathers goes up and over! Mathers comes back to ROCK Brad, snapmare roll, CALF KICK! Cover, TWO! Brad is already hurting but Mathers stands Brad up to CHOP him down! The fans fire up for Mathers and he KNEES Brad low! The fans rally with “MARCUS! MARCUS!” Mathers goes up, up, but Smokes distracts! Brad YANKS Mathers down and LARIATS! The fans boo but Brad tags Smokes.

Brad hauls Mathers up, lift, and Smokes runs in, NECKBREAKER BACK SUPLEX COMBO! Cover, TWO! Smokes says, “SWIPE! RIGHT!” The fans boo but Smokes stands Mathers up to CHOP! Smokes puts Mathers in the corner, stomps a mudhole, then tags Brad. The fans rally but Brad says, “It’s time! To Swipe!” The fans say “LEFT!” Smokes whips Brad in and he RAMS Mathers! Brad then feeds Mathers to Smokes’ BOOT! Cover, TWO! Mathers is tougher than that and the fans rally up. Brad clamps onto Mathers with a chinbar, then CLUBS him in the chest! And CLUBS him again! Brad says, “Are we good or what?” The fans say, “NO!”

Brad CLUBS Mathers again, then sucker punches Rourke! The fans boo, the ref keeps Rourke back, and Brad puts Mathers in the corner. Tag to Smokes, Brad snapmares Mathers to NECK SNAPPER! Then Smokes adds a basement DROPKICK! Cover, TWO! The fans rally, Smokes KNEES Mathers in the back, and then tags Brad back in. Brad stomps a mudhole into Mather’s back, then he goes Rick Rude with them hip swivels. The fans boo but Vanity Project applauds. Brad storms back up, but Mathers mule kicks low! Brad stomps Mathers back down, he tags Smokes, and Smokes sucker punches Rourke!

Tag back to Brad, and he tags Smokes back in. Brad back suplexes but Mathers lands out! Mathers shoves Brad, Smokes back suplexes, but Mathers lands out again! HOOK KICK for Smokes! Mathers dodges Brad to FLYING STUNNER! The fans fire up and Mathers crawls to the corner! Hot tag to Rourke! The fans fire up as Rourke rallies on Smokes! LARIAT! ELBOW! LEG LARIAT! Then for Brad, Rourke waistlocks to GERMAN SUPLEX! Rourke kips up and the fans fire up! Swipe Right is in the corners, so Rourke HIP ATTACKS Brad! And UPPERCUTS Smokes! The fans rally for “DIME PIECE! DIME PIECE!” Rourke drags Smokes to the drop zone, goes up and SPLIT LEG- NO, Rourke has to lands out as Smokes dodges! Rourke hobbles, but he runs back in, only for Smokes to dodge. Smokes then runs up, blocks a boot, and reels Rourke in, BUCKLE SHOT! Smokes and Rourke scramble to corners, hot tags to Brad and Mathers! Brad runs up, Mathers dodges and KNEES low! Mathers adds a switchblade kick, but Brad ducks the enzigiri! Brad waistlocks, GERMAN SUPLEX! Brad runs while Mathers staggers to his feet, but Mathers JUMP SOBATS! Brad rebounds to ENZIGIRI!

Brad underhooks, Mathers flips and victory rolls, TWO!! Brad escapes, but Mathers SUPERKICKS! Smokes tags in but Rourke is still down! SLINGSHOT SPEAR a la Gargano! Then Smokes WRECKS Rourke before he can get on the apron! Brad calls the shot, Smokes feeds Mathers to him. Scoop and SUPER SWIPE! But Mathers ghost pins through! Rourke trips Smokes, TWO!! Brad escapes again, Smokes BOOTS Rourke away! Smokes runs up, Mathers dodges, Swipe Right avoids a collision! Mathers SUPERKICKS Smokes and ROUNDHOUSES Brad! Mathers tags to Rourke and they coordinate, wheelbarrow and roll SPEAR!!

The fans fire up and Rourke goes up and out! Tag to Mathers as Rourke ASAI MOONSAULTS! Down goes Swipe Right, and Rourke sends Brad in! Mathers scoops and spins, POWERSLAM! Cover, TWO!! Brad survives again and the fans are loving this! Mathers calls to Rourke, Rourke climbs the corner, but Smokes gets up! Smokes SHOVES Rourke down! The fans boo and Mathers checks if Rourke is okay. Smokes distracts the ref, Bryce BOOTS Mathers down! The fans boo again but now Swipe Right has Mathers where they want him! Smokes tags in, Brad scoops, SUPER SWIPE!! Cover, Swipe Right wins!

That was certainly a showcase of how Swipe Right needed help from their friends. But will the Vanity Project truly be united from here on out?

Jamar Hampton works out with It’s Gal.

Just as teased last week, the new kid from LFG asks Mr. Mint Condition what they’re doing. Gal says it is time to kill this workout. Gal starts with some light weight dumbbell curls, but Jamar says try like this. He’s got a dumbbell twice as heavy, and he rests his arm against the bench for support. Gal sees that and gives it a try. Gal says you can’t defeat the peak. Didn’t Gal say “Chest Day, Best Day?” Let’s get to it! Time to savage it up! Workout montage of weighted pushups, bench presses, and Jamar even hyping Gal up to finish the set. Jamar and Gal are oddly getting along because of this.

Jamar then asks how that pose goes. The double thumbs up and pumping, “It’s Jamar, It’s Jamar, It’s Jamar!” Gal says no, dummy, it’s Gal, it’s Gal, it’s Gal. Well, it’s Jamar for him. Okay, it’s Gal’s way or the highway. Anyway, that was a great workout. The pump is ferocious! And what an impressive stud Jamar is. Er, Gal is. Time for protein shakes to fuel the peaks. Is Jamar getting through to Gal’s good side? Could these two gym partners end up tag partners?

Kendal Grey speaks.

“Wendy Choo, I don’t know what your problem is. A few weeks ago, you choked out my best friend, Carlee Bright, and then I see your ass laughing about it? Look, I don’t care if you have this weird obsession with me or not, because I’m way past that point. I haven’t seen you talk, but I’m damn sure I can make you scream when I dislocate your shoulder or rip your arm out of it’s socket. So I’ll make it easy for you. Next week, you don’t have to be lurking around the corner or popping up behind me, because you can find me right in the middle of the ring. And then we’ll see if your ass is still laughing about it.” Grappler Grey has thrown down the gauntlet, but will she regret calling out the Sleepy Psycho?

Harley Riggins & Jax Presley speak.

“Gnarly Harley” says Jack Cartwheel & Cappuccino Jones really thought they were doing something stepping up to him last week. But “Space Cowboy Jax” says what those two don’t understand is, Harley & Jax are blue chip athletes. They’ve been recruited their entire lives. Evolve was begging them to beef the place up. Adrenaline Drip has had their last cup of coffee in Evolve. What’re they even doing here? Harley & Jax will be the ones to show them the door. Are the big men going to crush Cartwheel & Cappuccino? Or will Adrenaline Drip show them that size doesn’t matter?

Kendal Grey called out Wendy, so Wendy has accepted the challenge! Will the Sleepy Psycho give Grey some nightmares? Then, after abandoning him in their tag match, Brooks Jensen will face Jordan Oasis as payback! But will the Nomad get rid of the Lost Cause? Or will Jensen prove no one is ready to Evolve? And of course, there’s THE Evolve Women’s Championship Fatal 4 Way! Kali won a match like this to become champion, can she win again to stay champion?

Sean Legacy VS Ridge Holland!

“Super Sean” may have lost to Keanu Carver, but he hasn’t lost his positive outlook. And that’s even with Ice Williams throwing shade at him for no good reason. But will Sean stay strong as he still fights towards the top? Or will Yorkshire Grit bring out that “Steam Pig” and be ready to Evolve?

The big fight introductions are made, and the fight is on! The two run up, and Ridge RUNS Sean over! Then SPINEBUSTERS! Ridge drags Sean up to UPPERCUT, then he has him in a corner. Ridge UPPERCUTS, then headlocks. Sean powers up and powers out, but Ridge whips Sean to ropes. Sean grabs the ropes to stop, then BOOTS Ridge. Ridge stays up so Sean fires haymakers! Ridge CLAWS Sean’s face! Ridge then puts Sean in a corner to HEADBUTT again and again! The ref counts, Ridge KNEES low, and Ridge pushes Sean around. Ridge hauls Sean up, KNEES him down low, then KNEES him in the head!

The fans boo but Ridge drags Sean up to KNEE him down again. Sean staggers, Ridge scoops, and Ridge SLAMS! Ridge runs to ELBOW DROP! Cover, ONE!! Sean shows toughness, and we see Tate Wilder watching this backstage. The Modern Day Cowboy has been wanting Ridge to fight him, no idea why Ridge is avoiding him. Ridge twists Sean’s nose while standing him back up, and Ridge scoops, only for Sean to grab ropes. Sean throws elbows, slips down, and waistlocks. Ridge ELBOWS Sean away, then storms up, but Sean dodges, dodges, and dropkicks the legs out! Then he DOUBLE STOMPS! And DROPKICKS!

The fans fire up with Sean, and he KICKS away on Ridge! Sean KICKS Ridge in the back, KICKS him in the front, then STANDING MOONSAULTS! Cover, TWO! Ridge toughs it out and the fans rally behind “LEGACY! LEGACY!” while Evolve goes to break.

Evolve returns and Sean CHOPS Ridge in the corner. Sean then whips Ridge to ropes, but Ridge reverses. Ridge then FLAPJACKS Sean onto the ropes! OVERHEAD BELLY2BELLY! The fans rally for Sean while he writhes. Ridge storms up on Sean, drags him up, and clinches for another OVERHEAD BELLY2BELLY! Ridge throws his headband away and stalks Sean. Ridge eggs Sean on, drags him back up, but Sean fires body shots. Ridge CLUBS Sean, Sean CHOPS and CHOPS, but Ridge blocks the body shots! Ridge cording holds, HEADBUTTS, and DEADBOLT SUPLEXES! The fans boo but Ridge mockingly says it’s almost game time.

Ridge drags Sean up to CLUB him down, kicks him at the ropes, and he stalks Sean to ropes. The fans rally for Sean but Ridge scoops. Sean slips free, shoves Ridge, and ROCKS Ridge with a forearm! The fans fire up and Sean stands to CHOP Ridge at the ropes. Sean CHOPS again, then whips, but Ridge reverses. Ridge scoops and POWERSLAMS! Cover, TWO! Ridge growls, and he stalks Sean to the ropes. Ridge drags Sean up, the fans rally, but Ridge throws down hands. Ridge stalks Sean to the ropes, drags him up, and Ridge puts on a BEARHUG! Sean fires elbows, fires forearms, then CHOPS and ROCKS on repeat!

Ridge LARIATS Sean down! The fans boo but Ridge looms over Sean. Ridge drags Sean up, but Sean SUPERKICKS! The fans rally, Ridge runs up, but Sean dodges! Sean SUPERKICKS again! Ridge stays up, so Sean somersaults and SATELLITE DDTS! Both men are down and Tate likes what he sees. Sean and Ridge slowly rise as the fans chant “LEGACY! LEGACY!” Sean and Ridge stand, Sean fires hands, and the fans fire up! Sean goes high, goes low, SOBATS, FRONT KICKS, and BOOTS! GERMAN SUPLEX! The fans fire up again as Ridge flounders to a corner. Sean runs in, but Ridge dodges!

Sean hits buckles, Ridge runs back in, but Sean ELBOWS Ridge away. Sean goes up, but Ridge CLUBS him on the back! Ridge then scoops Sean for a REVERSE SLAM! Ridge runs up, SLIDING BOOT! Then he suplexes for a POWERSLAM! Cover, TWO! Sean survives going #HeadHigh and the fans rally up. Ridge huffs ‘n’ puffs and storms up on Sean. Ridge drags Sean up, UPPERCUTS, then has Sean on the ropes. Ridge whips Sean to a corner, runs in, but Sean goes up and over! Ridge hits buckles, Sean SHOTGUNS back! Sean GAMANGIRIS, then goes up the corner, QUEBRADA into the dragon sleeper! SAVING GRACE! Cover, TWO!

Ridge survives but the fans rally behind Sean. Sean rises, goes for Ridge, and torture racks! But Ridge is too big for that! So Sean snap cradles! TWO!! Ridge escapes, and he SPLASHES in a corner! Ridge whips and SPLASHES, then runs to CANNONBALL! Ridge reels Sean in for a GUT WRENCH POWERBOMB! Cover, RIDGE WINS!

Winner: Ridge Holland, by pinfall

Super Sean couldn’t bring down Keanu Carver, and he couldn’t bring down Ridge Holland. Is he just not at the power level he needs to handle hosses? And as if losing wasn’t enough, Ice Williams is right at gorilla as Sean steps in. “Is that the top WWE ID Prospect, Sean Legacy? Psyche, it’s not, it’s ICE! I’m tired of you getting opportunities, bro!” Ice shoves Sean! Sean gets mad and shoves back! Security steps in and stops this, but is Ice about to have a meltdown? As for Ridge, he says he’s about to teach a lesson to every young, aspiring wannabes! Will nothing stop this Steam Pig from building steam towards the WWE Evolve Championship?

My Thoughts:

A very good episode for Evolve, and they sure are going big for next week. Chantel VS Kylie was a very good match, very good win for Chantel. Good promo from Stevie with Kali and Nikkita, and I’m rather surprised they went with a Fatal 4 Way for the title right from the jump as opposed to a Triple Threat #1 contender’s match. Either way, that Fatal 4 Way will be great stuff, and could be used to crown a new champion while protecting Kali. After all, champs don’t need to be beat to lose that title. And if Kali is going to lose here, I feel like Chantel should be the one to win, because then they can finally give us Chantel’s story with Layla and Masyn.

Very good promo from Vanity Project as there is more dysfunction, but it seems they patched things up for now a la Judgment Day’s dysfunction going up and down. Great tag match from Swipe Right VS Mathers & Rourke, but of course Vanity Project cheats to win. Very good promo from Keanu Carver to call out Jackson Drake, and Jackson’s fears could help ramp up the dysfunction in the group. Meanwhile, good stuff in the new “odd couple” that is Jamar and Gal, that’s certainly a unique combination. Good promo from Harley & Jax, but I feel like they’re being set up to lose to Adrenaline Drip because why build up Adrenaline Drip just to lose? That’d be weird.

Good promo from Kendal Grey, she and Wendy will have a good match. And very good main event match, Ridge bringing that “Steam Pig” gimmick to Evolve now after trying it out on the live show tour.
