Or is Kendal about to go night-night?

The bell rings and the fans rally up. Kendal and Wendy tie up, go around, and they end up on the ropes. They go along the ropes, into a corner then back out, and Wendy arm-drags Kendal. Wendy has a sinister smile as she crawls around, but Kendal leaps up and over! Kendal waistlocks, then she brings Wendy up to SLAM! Kendal rolls to a bridging cover, TWO! Kendal holds on, brings Wendy up again, but Wendy ELBOWS free! Wendy waistlocks, Kendal bucks the O’conner, but Wendy does the splits! Kendal runs up, but Wendy blocks the kick! Wendy spins Kendal, hits a headlock takeover, and grinds Kendal down.

Kendal fights around but Wendy wrangles her again. The fans rally, Kendal headscissors, but Wendy moves around. Wendy headstands, bridges, but Kendal catches her into a headlock! The fans cheer, but Wendy rolls to a cover, ONE! Kendal holds onto the headlock, but Wendy fights up to fire body shots. Fans rally up as Wendy powers up and out. Kendal jumps over the dropdown, then turns hip toss into a wrench and fireman’s carry takeover! Kendal then has the armlock as the fans cheer. Wendy endures, fights up, and pulls hair! The ref reprimands, the fans boo, but Wendy puts Kendal in the corner. Wendy fires a body shot!

Wendy whips corner to corner, but Kendal goes up to CROSSBODY! Kendal pops off the cover, goes to a corner, then goes up and over, under and around, then she redirects Wendy to sweep the legs! Basement DROPKICK! The fans fire up with Kendal while Wendy bails out. Kendal taunts Wendy a bit, runs out after her, but Wendy slides into the ring. Kendal storms back up, blocks a shot, and ROCKS Wendy! Kendal rams in but into a KNEE! Wendy drags Kendal in, SWINGING NECKBREAKER! Kendal writhes and Wendy laughs while Evolve goes to break.

Evolve returns and Wendy has Kendal in the Tree of Woe! Wendy smiles as she soaks up heat, then runs to DROPKICK Kendal out of the Tree! Cover, TWO! Kendal toughs it out, but Wendy puts her on the ropes to THRASH and CHOKE her! The ref counts, the fans boo, but Wendy YANKS the rope to snap Kendal back. Wendy drags Kendal up, but Kendal fires body shots! The fans rally, Kendal fires more hands, but Wendy SMACKS her! Wendy snapmares Kendal, and NECK TWIST! Kendal writhes and even the fans wince seeing that. Wendy drags Kendal up, whips her corner to corner, then runs in, handspring FOREARM!

Wendy runs side to side, YAKUZA KICK! Cover, TWO! Wendy is mad now, and she clamps onto Kendal with a neck wrench! The fans rally as Kendal endures, and she fights up to pry free! Kendal arm-drags, then dodges, DOUBLE LARIATS take them both down! The fans rally up as Kendal goes to a corner. Wendy crawls over to SMACK Kendal! Kendal grits her teeth and hits back! Ice says he’s cold but he sounds a bit heated over how Super Sean has been here and not out there. Will Ice melt down as he tries to end Sean’s legacy?

Jordan Oasis VS Brooks Jensen!

The Nomad wanted a partner to humble Swipe Right, but he should’ve known better than to trust the Lost Cause. Will Oasis get Jensen back for deserting him? Or will Jensen tell Oasis to stop crying his heart out?

Jensen wrenches, ELBOW BREAKERS, then wrenches for another ELBOW BREAKER! Jensen grinds Oasis’ arm, wrangles him, and steps over for the armlock. Oasis fights up, but Jensen KNEES Oasis in the side! Oasis still fights up, powers up and whips Jensen away, but Jensen avoids the lariat!

Jensen storms up but Oasis DECKS Jensen, DECKS him, again, then wrenches to return the ELBOW BREAKER! Oasis UPPERCUTS Jensen, scoops and SLAMS him, then KICKS him in the back! SENTON! Cover, TWO! Oasis grabs at Jensen around the corner, but Jensen YANKS Oasis into the post! And then he SLAMS the bad arm against it! Jensen throws hands on Oasis while Evolve goes to break.

Evolve returns, Jensen is up top, and he AX HANDLES Oasis down! The fans rally but Jensen mocks them for it. Jensen KICKS Oasis in the back, then pushes him to a cover, TWO! The fans rally for Oasis but Jensen has the top wristlock. Oasis endures, fights up, and fires body shots! But Jensen YANKS Oasis into the buckles! Then he ARMBAR DDTS! Cover, TWO! Oasis toughs it out but Jensen keeps on the arm. The fans rally as Oasis endures, and he fights around. The fans boo Jensen as he steps over for a deeper twist. Jensen grinds the arm but Oasis fights up. The fans rally again, and Oasis powers Jensen to a corner.

The ref counts the break, Jensen lets go, and Oasis CHOPS! Jensen BOOTS Oasis in the bad arm! Then CLUBS him down! Cover, TWO! Jensen clamps onto the armlock and he grinds Oasis’ shoulder again. The fans rally as Oasis endures, and Oasis fights up again. Oasis arm-drags free, both men stand, and Jensen trips Oasis! But Oasis avoids the elbow drop! Oasis wrenches and WRINGS Jensen’s arm! Bad arm or not, Jensen found a way to topple Oasis! Can Oasis keep the dream alive? Or will he keep falling down?

As for Jensen, Chuey Martinez is ringside to interview him, and says that was pretty good. We may not like how Jensen conducts himself, but that win right there might put him in the running for a title match. Jensen says he really “values” Chuey’s irrelevant opinion. Stay with him now. The fans boo instead. Jensen says Oasis can pack up his sadness and disappointment, get on the bus, and go to the next town. Because Jensen is the one after the Men’s Evolve Championship! Okay, hold on, one more question. What is Jensen gonna do about The Vanity Project?

Well, see, Jackson Drake needs an army to stay champion, but Jensen doesn’t. They’d only slow him down. And if you’re not here to be a champion, then why are you in this sport? Jensen has been a tag team champion, and right now, it is time for Jensen to be THE Evolve Champion! And hey, if Vanity Project wants to get in the way, then so be it. He’ll take care of each one of ’em! Stevie Turner, do the right thing. And that is make the NEW #1 contender the man from Ala-bam-bam-bama, Brooks Jensen! Jensen heads out, but will the Lost Cause find his way to the top?

Jackson Drake says Jensen can talk about coming after Drake’s WWE Evolve Championship, but c’mon, who isn’t? Bryce Donovan says Jensen’s a headcase that better watch his mouth, because VP is on the same page. Brad Baylor says hundos, Bryce is right, cuz just last week, Swipe Right smashed Mathers & Rourke. Ricky Smokes says facts. The thing about Swipe Right is, they see nerds, and they SMASH nerds! Zayda Steel asks Bryce if he say that, and Bryce says yeah, cuz he’s the one who did the thing. Jackson says Bryce does have a great point. Every faction in WWE has their ups and their downs, and VP is no different.

But guess what? VP is young, good looking, and most importantly, still on top and running Evolve. But in steps Stevie Turner. Everyone stands at attention for the Evolve Prime Minister as she says she is in the process of determining Jackson’s next challenger. Oh, he knows. Then listen, there is a long list of men who want their shot. Yes, he knows. Bryce says Jackson is THE Evolve Champion, the best wrestler in Evolve, and even ALL Of WWE! So it doesn’t matter who Stevie puts in front of Jackson, because #HeartbreakDrake will put them down. Hundos! V’s up! Stevie rolls her eyes and leaves to go finish the work.

Zayda tells Ricky to give it up already, Stevie does not “want” Ricky. Well how does Zayda know? Did she ask? That nonsense aside, just who will make the top of that contenders list to be number one?

Masyn Holiday and Layla Diggs speak.

Masyn brings up that she hasn’t had many opportunities in that ring, but she craves competition. She is from a small town, Stockbridge, Georgia, but she has big dreams. Layla says talk to her, let us hear it. Before the WWE, Masyn broke school records in 60m hurdles, 100m hurdles, and the 60m dash. She even graduated valedictorian from THE Howard University! #DidIt! Then who is she calling out? Kendal Grey’s been on fire. Everyone wants to face Kali Armstrong as the Evolve Women’s Champion, but everyone also wants to punch Chantel Monroe in the face. Or maybe just Layla.

Masyn says the woman she believes is the measuring stick of Evolve is Kylie Rae. Masyn wants to face Kylie and paint a masterpiece for the world to see that Masyn is a superstar in the making. Then when and where will Masyn get her shot against the WWE ID Women’s Champion?

WWE Evolve Women’s Championship Fatal 4 Way: Kali Armstrong VS Karmen Petrovic VS Chantel Monroe VS Nikkita Lyons!

Speaking of titles, The Pride of Inglewood rose up from that tag team loss way back on episode one to be completely unstoppable! She won that Fatal 4 Way Elimination match against Kylie Rae, Kendal Grey & Wendy Choo, but must now win in a first-fall-to-a-finish sudden death! Will the Kali Connection stay strong? Or are we getting a new Evolve Women’s Champion one way or another?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who is truly going to Evolve the Women’s Division!

The bell rings and the fans rally for “Who Strong? “Armstrong!” The four watch each other, Kali talks a bit of trash on Karmen for getting her rematch from NXT like this, but then Chantel and Lyons get after them! Chantel fires forearms with Kali while Lyons puts Karmen in a corner! Chantel kicks low, KNEES low, then whips, but Kali reverses to TOSS Chantel! Karmen returns fire on Lyons, then BULLDOGS Lyons down! The fans rally as Kali and Karmen are now 1v1. They run up, Karmen dodges, jumps over, but Kali hurdles. Karmen blocks the hip toss, but Kali scoops to SLAM! But Karmen avoids the elbow drop!

Karmen has the body scissors and shifts up to the leg hook full nelson! But Chantel gets Karmen for a headscissor squeeze! Then Lyons gets Chantel in a SLEEPER! The fans rally for this submission chain, but Kali breaks free of Karmen’s legs. Kali then grabs Karmen’s legs to drag her back and DECK her! Chantel JAWBREAKERS Lyons, but Kali DOUBLE LARIATS! Kali ROCKS Lyons with haymaker after haymaker! The fans fire up with Kali as all her challengers are in corners. Kali shouts, “Straight like that!” Kali RAMS into Chantel! Then she RAMS Lyons! Then she RAMS into Karmen’s knee! Karmen runs, but into a SNAP POWERSLAM!

The fans fire up and Kali catches Chantel’s crossbody, POWERSLAM! But Lyons SPLIT LEG DROPS onto them both! Double cover, but Karmen CALF KICKS Lyons! All four women are down and the fans fire up as Evolve goes to break!

Evolve returns as Karmen and Lyons square. Karmen ducks a kick, but Lyons ducks a kick! Karmen jumps a sweep, Lyons jumps a sweep, and Lyons SPINNING ROUNDHOUSE! Down goes Karmen! SOBAT for Kali and she goes down! SPINNING ROUNDHOUSE for Chantel and she’s down !Karmen is back but Lyons GERMAN SUPLEXES! Lyons roars, then ROCKS Chantel! Underhooks, and TIGER DRIVER! Cover, Kali breaks it to a ghost pin! But Karmen tips Lyons over and SUPERKICKS her! Kali is up but Karmen whips. Kali reverses, scoops, but Karmen small packages! TWO, THRUST KCIK!

Chantel runs in, but Karmen makes her EAT DA FEET! Then Karmen whips Lyons, only for Lyons to reverse. Karmen JUMP SOBATS, then goes up to SHING-BLADE! The fans fire up with Karmen, but Kali ELBOWS her away. Kali goes up, but Karmen goes into the STRATUSPHERE! Then KATANA KICK! Cover, Chantel THROWBACK STUNNERS! Then a THROWBACK for Kali! SUPERKICK for Karmen! SHOULDER for Kali! Lyons runs up, Chantel dodges, PERFECT ENDING! But that’s not really the ending as Kali runs up, only for Chantel to go Matrix! Chantel then kips up, handsprings, and headscissors Kali into SPEARING Lyons!

The fans fire up, but Karmen runs up! Chantel fireman’s carries, PRETTY K O! Cover, TWO!! Karmen survives the modified TKO and the fans fire up! Chantel feeds off the energy as the fans rally, and she goes to a corner. Chantel climbs up, but Kali is right up after her! Chantel SHOVES Kali away, but Karmen tries! Chantel DECKS Karmen, and then Karmen AND Kali get up there! Lyons joins in! TOWER OF DOOM!! The fans fire up for that Double Powerbomb Superplex! Lyons hurries to cover Karmen, TWO! Cover on Kali, TWO! Chantel is right out of the ring so Lyons can’t try a third! Lyons is furious, but she clamps onto Karmen.

Karmen ROCKS Lyons! Kali ROCKS Lyons! Lyons ROCKS Karmen, then she ROCKS Kali! Karmen CHOPS Lyons! Kali whips Karmen at a corner, then runs in, but Karmen BOOTS her! Karmen goes up to ENZIGIRI, then she HANGING HEADSCISSORS! Lyons SOBATS Kali, Chantel ROCKS Karmen! Karmen lets Kali go, Lyons and Kali bob ‘n’ weave with each other! Kali runs, DOUBLE LARIATS take them down! Chantel CLUBS and ROCKS Karmen, then SMACKS her off the apron! But then KYLIE RAE runs out here? Smiley Kylie is more like Kylie Rage as she gets right in Chantel’s face over their Eliminator Match!

The fans are torn as Kylie and Chantel shove, but then Karmen DIVES to wipe them both out! The fans fire up, Lyons rains down fists on Kali! Chantel and Kylie brawl to the back! Kali carries Lyons off the corner! Karmen runs to ROUND KICK Kali in the stomach, so Kali POWERBOMBS Lyons a little early! Karmen then LARIATS Kali against the ropes! Karmen kicks Kali out, jackknife bridges Lyons, TWO!! Lyons survives and Karmen is beside herself! The fans fire up and Karmen hurries to get Lyons up. Karmen whips, Lyons reverses, and Lyons blocks the sobat! SAMOAN DROP! Lyons goes up, up, but Kali drags Karmen out, the Vader Bomb FLOPS!

Whether it was to the last woman or to the first fall, Kali Armstrong is still the Difference Maker! Three defenses in and counting, how far will Kali carry this title?

My Thoughts:

A very good Evolve, flowed pretty smoothly with only three matches and only a couple promos. Apparently Masyn and Layla really aren’t bothering with Chantel anymore? Though, Kylie went after Chantel for last week, so are they using Kylie as the bridge to get to Chantel VS Masyn? Awesome main event, all four looked strong, but with Kylie costing Chantel, I had a feeling Kali would win out. Karmen and Lyons are still partly NXT talent so they weren’t going to take the title, and this makes Kali look even stronger overcoming a Fatal 4 Way.

Great match from Kendal VS Wendy, and I really like the very Angle VS Taker style finish, Kendal catching Wendy in a cover while still in her submission. Pretty sure we’ll get one more Wendy VS Kendal match, who knows how it’ll go. Very good match of Jensen VS Oasis, with great story in both guys working the other’s arms. Very good win for Jensen, that keeps him in the running for the title. Another good group promo from Vanity Project, and I like that Bryce is being much more vocal as we approach the moment he turns on Vanity Project. I feel like Bryce either finds himself in the title chase, or he costs Jackson against whoever.

I feel like the more interesting thing is he’s in the title chase, he “promises” to be the insurance policy, but then he wins his chance at the title and actually fights Jackson seriously. Then win or lose, Bryce leaves Vanity Project and feuds with them after that.
