A car pulls up to SmackDown.

And it’s Logan Paul. The fans are booing already as The Maverick is feeling good stepping into the building. He pretends he can’t hear the fans, and then he goes right to gorilla for his entrance. The fans boo more but Logan just soaks it all up. Logan goes to the ring, still acting like he can’t hear this all around him. Logan grabs a mic, the fans boo even louder, and even chant, “YOU SUCK! YOU SUCK!” Logan says John Cena thinks Logan’s a parasite? Sounds like y’all think that, too. HE doesn’t know if the Frenchies even know what he’s saying, but he’ll stick to English cuz he’s an American.

Logan says the fans don’t have a problem with Logan. No, they have a problem with change. He’s not a parasite. In fact, dang, he’s the opposite! He’s a disruptor! The fans tell Logan off in both French and English, but Logan says they don’t mean that. They gotta stop, or they’ll get cut on TV. Logan is just saying, he is not a parasite, he was hired, put in this ring to shake the core foundation of this company, and he has! After he signed with the WWE, what happened? Here are facts! The WWE fans don’t like those! Logan put WWE on Netflix! He put them on ESPN! The values Logan brings to this company is incalculable, but it is around 1.6 BILLION!

From six seconds to 1.6 BILLION, you’re welcome, TKO! The fans still tell Logan he sucks, but Logan says no, look around! Y’all’re so stupid! All he does is add! He brought PRIME to the WWE! The fans boo and Logan says they can’t be mad at hydration! Get a life! But the WWE is becoming the W-W-ME! Logan IS the future, whether we like it or not. And the one person who represents the outdated, institutionalized WWE is JOHN CENA! Who by the way, Cena dared Logan to bring his A Game to Paris? HAH! The audacity! Logan eggs the fans on in what little French he knows, and says Cena needs to bring HIS A Game like, Logan isn’t some phenom that won’t push Cena to his limits!

Logan tells Cena in French that he needs to come to Paris ready to fight, not as some imposter! And when, WHEN, Logan beats Cena, Logan will show us all that he IS the future! Wrestling is changing, and Logan is wrestling! If you can’t change with it, you will get left behind! But then JOHN CENA IS HERE!? Now this is a surprise! The fans sing along with My Time Is Now as Cena already sports his French flag inspired gear and towel. Time to go to work! Cena runs down the aisle, slides into the ring, and he throws up the threes! The fans continue to sing along, but Cena has the song fade out so we can hear the fans all cheering.

Cena has Mark Nash give him the full intro, “Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the Greatest Of All Time! The Never-Seen Seventeen! Celebrating with each and every one of you here in Lyon one final time! He is the Last Real Champion, JOOOHN CENAAA~!” The fans cheer again and Cena grabs himself a mic. “Damn, you are stupid. Man, you can’t do it all alone. If we don’t have the fans, we don’t have a show. They’re not gonna get ‘left behind,’ dude, they set the pace. Alright, we’re just here to make it a good time for them. They’re the ones that hold the keys to whether or not you will join our family and have a career over 25 matches. Do you understand?”

The fans cheer, and Cena says when he looks at Logan, he sees so much potential. That’s why fans are angry. Fans wanna cheer, just look at Logan! Logan wants to take WWE to new heights, but everybody knows that Logan won’t put one ounce of effort to try and really understand what we actually do here. “Because if this young man did his homework, he would understand that he’s not a disruptor, he’s just a wannabe. You’re standing in the ring with one of the original disruptors, homes. A man who wore jorts and sneakers, even though they said he’d be fired if he did. A man who changed up championships and pissed off purists. A man who rapped his way to WrestleMania.

“You talking like me now, and knocking people out with the brass knucks? I was doing that 25 years ago, and mine said, ‘Word Life.’ Logan Paul, that is your first lesson in Basic Thuganomics. And this Maverick Logan Paul is nothing more than a dollar store John Cena.” The fans cheer that! Cena says no, no, Logan has accomplishments. He says he brought us to Netflix, that he brought us to ESPN, and claims his influence is responsible for those accolades. He claims it is his influence that carries us to where we are now. But his influence is not what it was and we all know it.

Cena isn’t sure Logan saw, but yesterday, there was a list. It was a list of the top 25 influencers in the world. Your boys were on there, from Drewski to IShowSpeed, but Logan? Nowhere to be found. The fans cheer that! Cena says it is time to talk as a friend so that Logan can face facts. Logan made videos of stunts and pranks at 12, dropped diss tracks at 18, and now at 30 years old, when Logan makes the front page, it is for the wrong reasons. Logan’s influence didn’t bring us to him, that influence is shrinking. And now, Logan is so desperate for a new revenue stream, he isn’t here to save wrestling, he’s here to use wrestling to save his own ass!

Logan says shut up but Cena will not shut up because everyone is riding the wave. The fans don’t fear change, they just see through fakeness. The fans chant at Logan, “He’s an A-Hole!” and Cena says excusem moi, but he appreciates their good English. Logan says Cena is stupid, HE knows French! The fans tell Logan off again, and Cena says his French isn’t that polished. But Cena’s real, Logan’s not. Logan’s a gimmick. Until Logan can be real and give his heart to this, the fans will see through him and be disgusted with him. Because WWE gives Logan opportunity after opportunity, yet Logan gives us no respect.

This here is a teachable moment, and Cena will show him what respect is here. Cena goes outside and asks, “Where’s my boi at?” The fans cheer as Cena tells dumbass Logan to watch. This is respect. Respect here is when you have a bad day or say something hurtful, they know it’s just you having a bad day, cuz it’s all love. Respect here is the ability that the next time you see that person… is to say you’re sorry and thank them for being there when they needed you. BELGIAN KID IS HERE! Cena says hey, he’s sorry, bud. He was having a bad day, but thank you for being here for him. Love you, bud. The fans cheer as Cena makes amends, then heads to the ring again.

Logan asks when did this promo become a charity case! Make-a-Wish, Break-a-Wish, and back again! Professional pretender! Wrap it up, man! Cena says fine, but Logan needs to remember, “You asked for this match, d*ckhead.” Now Logan’s got it. Logan’s got the “Disappearer VS The Disappointment! Paragon VS Parasite!” Greatest of All Time VS Logan Paul, and Logan asked for it! Logan has 24 hours to whip himself into the best shape we’ve ever seen. If after Sunday, Logan still doesn’t get the fans, he won’t be ruining wrestling, wrestling will ruin him! Cena drops the mic and leaves Logan behind, will it be just like that for their Clash in Paris?

Backstage interview with The Street Profits.

Jackie Redmond is with Montez Ford, Angelo Dawkins & B-Fab. Tonight, it is the Profits VS Melo Don’t Miz in a #1 Contenders match. After recent success, how do they navigate one of the final hurdle to reclaiming the tag titles? Dawkins says they’re gonna reclaim those titles, the W is theirs. Ford says it is cute, but Melo is NOT H1M, and Miz is All Talk. B-Fab says the Profits have basically been running the tag division these last eight years. Ford says that means B-Fab & The Profits are always up! And they want… deep breath…

Bo Dallas walks in! And he says eight years is a long time. But the blood running through their veins, does it right through each other’s? Are they real family? Because the Wyatt Sick6 is. And when you come for them and fail… You’ll find out if you really are brothers. Bo leaves, The Profits look to each other, is Uncle Howdy getting in their heads already? Or can they pull through like they always do?

Speaking of tag titles, despite “not” being friends, The Queen & Lil’ Miss Bliss have made quite the championship combination! But will they stay golden as Summer- OH NO, the Green Administration strikes during entrances! Chelsea CHOP BLOCKS Charlotte while Alba is after Alexa! But where is Piper Niven? The refs rush out here, Alba SUPERKICKS Charlotte, then she KICKS away on a leg! The refs and producers separate the teams, and it seems Chelsea called an audible. But will The Hot Mess & Firekeeper get those belts? Or can #Charlexa only use this as fuel for their fire? We’ll see, after the break!

Alexa Bliss VS Chelsea Green w/ Alba Fyre!

Well, “card subject to change,” as they say. Piper couldn’t compete tonight, and the Green Administration made sure Charlotte couldn’t, so no tag titles tonight! Then INSULT2- NO, Chelsea dodges the senton to SLAP Alexa! The fans boo but Alexa SLAPS back! Alexa runs up at the corner, but into a BUCKLE SHOT! Alexa CANNONBALLS, Alba takes the hit! Chelsea whips Alexa into steel steps! The fans boo but Chelsea soaks up heat while SmackDown goes picture in picture.

Chelsea puts Alexa in the ring, and she DRIBBLES Alexa off the mat! The fans boo but Chelsea grins as she taunts the fans. Chelsea rains down forearms, then covers, TWO! The fans cheer but Chelsea drags Alexa up. Chelsea short arm LARIATS, then short arm LARIATS again! Then swings, but Alexa ducks, but Chelsea THROWS Alexa by her hair! Cocky cover with a salute, TWO! Chelsea huffs ‘n’ puffs and clamps on with a chinlock. Alexa endures, the fans rally, but Chelsea leans on the hold. Alexa fires body shots, Chelsea whips her to a corner, then she runs in, but into an ELBOW! And a BOOT!

Alexa swings, Chelsea dodges and THROWS Alexa by her hair again! Chelsea soaks up heat before going back to Alexa. Chelsea drags Alexa up, TOSSES her out, then distracts the ref so that Alba can get a cheap shot in! The fans boo louder but the ref misses it all. The ring count begins, Chelsea counts along, but the fans rally up. Alexa rises, rolls into the ring, and SmackDown returns to single picture. Chelsea CLUBS Alexa, goes up, and MISSILE DROPKICKS! Alexa tumbles out, Chelsea slides out, and she SMACKS Alexa off the desk! Chelsea whips, but Alexa reverses to send Chelsea into barriers!

The fans fire up, Alba panics, but both women are down as the ring count climbs! Alexa and Chelsea stir at 7, then hurry back in at 8! Charlotte goes to the apron, she RAMS Chelsea, then fires off CHOPS! But Alba HOTSHOTS Charlotte! Chelsea brings her around, UNPRETTY-HER! GORY BOMB for Alexa! Chelsea & Alba salute but the fans boo. Will they just have to wait until we’re stateside to take those titles?

Backstage interview with Sami Zayn.

Jackie Redmond is with the Honorary Uce, and says that ever since returning to SmackDown, it seems like Sami’s returned to the most confident form of himself. Momentum is on his side going into tonight’s US Championship match, how does he feel about his odds? Sami feels great, she really hit it on the had. He feels renewed here. That last month on Raw just didn’t feel like the best version of Sami. he was in his own head, and when that happens, doubt creeps in. But he isn’t feeling that tonight. Honestly, he feels the way he did when he main-evented WrestleMania. He feels the way he did the night he ended Gunther’s Intercontinental Championship reign at WrestleMania.

Sami is feeling totally confident! So now, it is just about going out there and doing it. And no better place than here in Lyon! Sami tells the fans in French that he is ready to be the NEW US Champion! The fans sound ready for it, too! But will it happen? Or will Solo Sikoa & MFT tear down all of that confidence?

The Rhodes Family grows!

Cody & Brandi welcome their new baby, Lani Rhodes! Wrestling has more than one royal family, but will the Rhodes Family continue to define the future?

Aleister Black speaks.

“What did you think was gonna happen now, Priest? Maybe it’s time to take off the mask and show you what Hell really looks like. Because obviously now, the violence is going to exacerbate. But perhaps once I cut the morality from your skin, I can show the entire world just how misguided and hollow you really are. And when you sit at home at night, and you feel that pressure on your chest, and you can’t move your arms and you feel paralyzed… Well, that’s me, Damian Priest, kneeling on your chest, whispering, ‘I warned you!'”

Backstage interview with Damian Priest.

Cathy Kelley is with the Archer of Infamy and asks his reaction to the “chilling words” Aleister had for him. Priest says Aleister sounds so educated. Talks like he’s educated, dresses like it, and we know he’s educated in the martial arts cuz he cracked Priest’s jaw. That’s all well and good, and Aleister clearly wants to be like Priest, but he’s not. Priest doesn’t make empty threats. Threatening Priest with violence proves how unprepared Aleister is for this fight. But that’s okay, Priest will prepare him. Priest tells Aleister that he will teach Aleister what it is to be like him and where he’s from, and will teach him a lot about pain.

Priest knows they’ll square up again somewhere, and Priest will be smiling like this, because he will enjoy every bit of violence that he inflicts upon Aleister. Back to Michael & Wade. Priest leaves, commentary appreciates that, but will Priest bring down the Dark Father? Or will Priest be made to #FadeToBlack?

Title Gatekeeping: Mia Yim VS Kiana James w/ Giulia!

Michin is sick and tired of waiting for an “appointment,” so she confronted Miss Management directly! The bet was made that if Mia gets through Kiana, she gets a Women’s US Championship match! Will Kiana keep her client safe from doing her job? Or will the Head Baddie in Charge get to face the Beautiful Madness?

SmackDown returns as Kiana makes her entrance, Giulia by her side. The bell rings and Kiana takes a swing with her purse! Mia dodges her, rolls her up, AND WINS?!?

Winner: Mia Yim, by pinfall (earns a WWE Women’s United States Championship match)

Kiana is pissed, but Giulia BOOTS Mia down! Giulia & Kiana mug Mia, the fans boo, but Mia dares her to do it! ARRIVEDERCI KNEE!! Giulia then drags Mia out to THROW her into barriers! Giulia DRIBBLES Mia off the barriers, then brings her to steel steps! The fans boo but Kiana says Mia wanted this! CURB STOMP onto the steel! Giulia snarls, the fans boo, but the Beautiful Madness is only getting started! Will she finish Mia off when it is time for their title match?

Drew McIntyre is here!

Lyon cheers as the Scottish Terminator heads to the ring! But he makes sure to check under the ring after how The Viper slithered in and struck outta nowhere. Drew then grabs a mic, and he asks if Randy is hiding behind barriers. No? Michael Cole is always kissing Cody Rhodes’ arse, any medical update? Nope? Didn’t think so. Drew says bonjour to France, and the fans sing, “OH~ Drew McIntyre~!” Drew tells Randy Orton, “You wanna face me like a man, I’ll fight you. I just wanna talk, so give France what they want, get out here and let them sing your song.” Voices plays and the fans indeed sing along!

Orton walks out on stage, and he goes down the aisle to the ring. Orton takes his time to high-five fans, autograph a sign, and mostly let the song play for the fans. Orton then steps into the ring, grabs a mic, and the fans cheer as the song ends. Drew says, “Now wasn’t that special? Now, Randy, if you’ll indulge me for two minutes, I’ve got something to say, and I’ve got a feeling if you listen to me, you’re gonna see things my way. If you’d attacked me last week for you, that’s fine. If you’d attacked me because you were embarrassed about SummerSlam, that’s fine, too. You did pick Jelly Roll as a tag team partner, to be fair.

“But if you attacked me because you think Cody Rhodes is your friend, that’s not fine at all. Cody is nobody’s friend. He doesn’t know how to be friends with people, he’s a liar, a manipulator, a politician. I did say hear me out, as long as you’re listening. When you were out for two years, major back surgery, I guarantee Cody was in constant contact with you, always on the phone, checking in, and you gave him all the details about what was going on with your recovery. Randy, that wasn’t friendship. That was intel to use against you.

“You remember what happened at King of the Ring in the finals, yeah? When Randy Orton hesitated to punt Cody Rhodes in the head because he’s your ‘friend?’ Well, Cody didn’t hesitate, he want right for your back. He attacked your back because he knew how to hurt you, and he knew how to hurt you because you told him, Randy. You gave him the answers.” The fans boo but Drew says they all know it is true. Drew can see Randy is thinking. If Randy thinks Cody is still his friend, then he’s naive. At this point, he’s an idiot! The fans tell Randy not to listen, but Randy says, “Drew, you make a very compelling argument. You do. I’ll have to give that some thought.

“But if you think I dropped your ass last week for Cody, you’re wrong. I dropped you last week, Drew, because I think you’re a p*ick.” Drew smirks, and then HEADBUTTS Orton down! The fans boo the Glasgow Kiss, but Drew throws off his vest and aims from a corner! Orton rises up, Drew runs in, but Orton drops down! The Claymore misses and Drew crashes down! Drew goes to the apron, and the fans fire up as Orton rises up! Orton drags Drew through the ropes, for the DRAPING DDT! The fans fire up again as Orton is hearing those voices in his head! Drew rises, but security and producers rush out here!

The fans boo, they wanted to see the RKO! Orton says okay, okay, he’ll go. But then he still hears those voices… RKO for a guard! And an RKO for the other guard! Orton sees Shane Helms is the only one left, and he pats him on the shoulders. It’s okay. RKO FOR HURRICANE HELMS! The fans fire up as now Orton takes aim from a corner! Drew rises up, but he bails out before Orton can run in! Orton wanted to kick Drew’s head off, will he just have to wait for another opportunity? Or will it be the other way around?

The Miz gets ready in the locker room.

Carmelo Hayes finds him, and wants to talk real quick. The stuff that’s been happening the last couple weeks can’t keep happening. And by that, Melo means Miz sniping the win. Miz says that’s Melo’s problem! They’re still winning! Melo has won more in the past two weeks than the whole month Miz was gone! Melo says don’t play that, because Miz has won more the past two weeks than he has all of 2025! So who is helping who? Miz says this isn’t a “you or me” thing, but an “us” thing! They share their glory! They win tonight, they get a shot at a title! Isn’t this what Melo wants? This is magic they’ve captured! Lightning in a bottle! Melo needs to harness it, not throw it away!

And they do that together. They are a team! And they are Melo Don’t Miz! They are AWES- Wait, Bo Dallas interrupts. Bo says there are always different perceptions. But perception isn’t reality, Bo is. Can Melo handle that? Melo says don’t write a reality check you can’t cash. Bo laughs then leaves, and Melo tells Miz, “We got this. We got this.” They fist bump, but will they still be AWES-H1M? Or will this be the night Melo misses his shot?

Nick Aldis has Randy Orton in his office.

The SmackDown General Manager gets RKOs for superstars, but refs, security guards, and even a producer!? Orton says he is sorry. Sometimes, it’s more fun to be bad. Here’s a gift. That’s some Fireball whiskey, the best in America. Enjoy. Orton heads out, and R-Truth steps in! Truth asks if Nick’s gonna have this. After the day he’s had, yes. Ain’t got nothing else? Okay. Truth lets Aldis have the Fireball, will that at least ease some of the stress Orton is putting him through?

WWE Tag Team Championships #1 Contenders match: The Street Profits VS #MeloDon’tMiz!

SmackDown returns and the fans are still bumping with The Profits. Miz & Melo make their entrance now, and the teams sort out. Miz and Ford start, and fans chant, “Miz is Awesome!” Ford headlocks, Miz powers up and out, but Ford goes up and over! Ford cartwheels and handsprings just to show off, and the fans do cheer. Miz runs up, Ford drops down, hurdles over, then DROPKICKS! The fans fire up and pump their fist with Ford. Ford tags Dawkins, they double whip Miz to DOUBLE FLAPJACK! Dawkins drags Miz up, but Miz JAWBREAKERS! Dawkins shoves Miz, Melo tags in, and Melo says this is teamwork!

Miz & Melo swing, but Dawkins dodges to CLOBBER them both! The fans fire up, Dawkins runs, CYCLONE SPALSH for Miz! CYCLONE SPLASH and a GAMANGIRI for Melo! “SI~!” Dawkins whips Melo, Melo grabs ropes, then Melo DUMPS Dawkins out! Dawkins ROCKS Melo, but Miz grabs a foot! Dawkins kicks at Miz, but Melo hits the IMPLODER LEG DROP! The fans fire up for Miz & Melo while SmackDown goes picture in picture.

Melo goes out to CLUB Dawkins, brings him up and into the ring. Melo hurries in, intercepts Dawkins from Ford, then taunts Ford. Tag to Miz and the fans cheer. Miz & Melo double whip Dawkins, they DOUBLE ELBOW, and then Miz basement BOOTS! Melo adds a LEG DROP, bruh! The fans cheer, Miz looms over Dawkins, and then he fires a KICK! The fans cheer the “It Kicks!” Miz then winds up, but Dawkins ducks the buzzsaw! Roll up, TWO! But Miz BOOTS Dawkins down! The fans cheer and Miz is confused, but he likes it. Miz brings Dawkins up to bump off buckles, then he tags Melo.

Melo stomps Dawkins, then sends Miz in for an A-LIST LARIAT! Shove and FADE AWAY JUMPER! Cover off the lariat, TWO! Ford was ready but Melo taunts him for it. Melo drags Dawkins up and around, then CHOPS! Dawkins sputters to the ropes, then Melo puts Dawkins in the corner. Tag to Miz and the fans cheer again. Miz stomps away on Dawkins now, then digs his boot in. Miz stops to argue with the ref, and that lets Melo CHOKE Dawkins! The fans boo but Miz shrugs. Miz drags Dawkins around to HIP DROP! Miz drags Dawkins up with a fishhook, and Melo tags himself in. They mug Dawkins, and the fans continue to cheer.

Melo keeps Dawkins from Ford with a wristlock, then he KICKS the arm! Melo points to Miz, the fans applaud, and Melo tags him in. They mug Dawkins more, and now Miz points back at Melo. Miz tags Melo back in, the fans applaud, and the mugging continues with a DROPKICK! Cover as SmackDown returns to single picture, TWO! Melo stalks Dawkins back to the corner, then ROCKS him with a right! Dawkins ROCKS Melo back! And ELBOWS Miz! And repeat! Dawkins hurdles Melo, but Melo grabs an arm! Melo dodges the haymaker to SUPERKICK! Dawkins rebounds to ROCK Melo! Melo tilt-o-whirls, but into a GUT BUSTER!

Both men are down and the fans fire up! The two crawl, hot tags to Miz and Ford! Ford GAMANGIRIS Miz away, then goes up to CROSSBODY! The fans fire up, Ford DECKS Melo, and then Ford ducks ‘n’ dodges Miz to blow past him and LARIAT! Ford then hits a BIG back suplex! And a kip up! The fans fire up again and Ford gets the fists pumping. STANDING MOONSAULT! Cover, TWO! B-Fab is frustrated for her guys but Ford drags Miz back up. Miz breaks free, ducks ‘n’ dodges, and he WRECKS Dawkins! But Ford ENZIGIRIS! But Miz kicks a leg out! DDT! Cover, TWO! Ford survives and the fans fire up!

Miz watches Ford, he wants to finish this! Full nelson, but Ford powers out! Melo tags in as Ford arm-drags! Ford lifts Miz, ANGLE SLAM! Ford hurries up top, but then so does Melo! Ford hits FROM THE HEAVENS on Miz, but FROG SPLASH from Melo!! Cover, TWO!! Ford survives and the fans stay fired up! Melo and Ford rise up to fire forearms and the fans cheer! Ford CHOPS, Melo ROCKS Ford, then Melo dodges! FADE AWAY into a DROPKICK! Both men are down and Miz rises up! The fans are thunderous, but wait! The Wyatts are here! Howdy, Lumis, Nikki Cross, they all scare Miz! Dawkins tags in, and he BLASTS Miz!

The fans are torn, but then Profits hit Melo with THE REVELATION!! Cover, Profits win!!

Winners: The Street Profits, by pinfall (NEW #1 Contenders to the WWE Tag Team Championships)

And now, with just 48 hours to prepare, The Profits and the Wyatts will battle for the gold! But can Ford & Dawkins get the titles back when it is just 2v2? Or will Joe Gacy & Dexter Lumis keep SmackDown’s Tag Division in the dark?

Jade Cargill finds Tiffany Stratton backstage.

The Storm asks the champ if she’s heard the news. What news? Jade just spoke with Nick Aldis. Since Jade won last week, Jade is THE #1 contender to her WWE Women’s Championship. Tiffy turns around to look Jade in the eye and tell her, “You’re welcome. Because if it weren’t for me letting you win last week, then you wouldn’t be in this position.” Jade tells Tiff to cut it, whatever floats your boat. Tiff has been walking around like a threat, like Jade won’t snap Tiff in two. Tiff says Jade can go on and on about how if not for the ropebreak, she’d be champion, because they both know that Tiff would’ve found a way to win.

Last time Tiff heard, she’s the one undefeated in 2025. Oh, that’s cute. Now, Jade can teach Tiff a thing or two about that. Cuz when Jade wins, all that dies, as does this fantasy of how they were ever on the same level. Jade storms off, but will she be the one to reign when it is all said and done?

Solo Sikoa talks with MFT.

Sami thinks he’s got a chance, don’t he? Sami thinks he’s gonna do it? He thinks he can come to THEIR show and take Solo’s title? Ain’t gonna happen. Because one spike to the throat, BOOM! Sami, it is over, 1-2-3. #AndStill United States Champion, Solo Sikoa. The champ has spoken, but it is time to put up or shut up! Will Sami not be denied the next step in completing the WWE Grand Slam? Or will he be struck out with one shot?

WWE United States Championship: Solo Sikoa w/ MFT VS Sami Zayn!

SmackDown returns as MFT makes their entrance, the “Head of the Family” accompanied by JC Mateo, Tonga Loa & Talla Tonga. The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see whose confidence sees them through!

The bell rings, the two tie up, and they go to ropes. Solo has Sami on the ropes, he lets off, but he sucker punches Sami! And HEADBUTTS! And fires more hands! The fans boo but Solo tells them to shut up! Solo runs up on Sami, but Sami TOSSES him out! Sami builds speed, Talla gets Solo to safety, so Sami just Arabian Presses back into the ring. The fans cheer, MFT is upset, and SmackDown goes picture in picture.

Sami watches Solo on the outside, and Solo slowly goes up the steel steps. Sami rushes up but Solo drops down. The ref has Sami stay back, the fans continue to rally, but JC says calm it down. Solo goes up, HOTSHOTS Sami, then LARIATS! Solo taunts the fans, then tells them to shut it. Sami rises up, but Solo HEADBUTTS him back down! The fans sing for “SAMI! SAMI ZAYN~!” Solo is annoyed, and he CHOPS Sami against ropes. Solo HEADBUTTS Sami, ROCKS him with haymakers again and again, but Sami counter punches! Sami fires forearms, then whips, but Solo reverses. Solo ELBOWS Sami down!

The fans boo but MFT applauds. Solo stalks Sami, drags him up, but then he drops Sami as he hears the fans cheering. Solo rains down fists on Sami and then taunts the fans. The fans boo, but Solo eggs Sami on. Solo taunts the fans, Sami CHOPS! And fires hands from below! But Solo DRIBBLES Sami off the mat! Winner: Sami Zayn, by pinfall (NEW WWE United States Champion)

Solo’s prediction couldn’t have been more wrong! No Samoan Spike, no #AndStill, it is #ANDNEW United States Champion, Sami Zayn! Sami can’t even believe it himself until he’s holding the belt in his hands! Tag titles, Intercontinental title, and now US title, that’s three of the four! Will Sami make the most of this reign on his way to the Grand Slam?

My Thoughts:

A great SmackDown here, though a shame about Piper not being able to make it. No tag title match, but good adlib with the attack and then Alexa winning the singles match. Chelsea & Alba beating Alexa & Charlotte down was also good, and surely they can build to the tag title match again for like WrestlePalooza. Meanwhile, it was obvious Mia was going to beat Kiana and earn a title match, but WOW, I didn’t think they’d job Kiana out that hard. At the same time, this was her first match in well over a year, so I guess they can claim it was ring rust. Giulia beating Mia down hard was a good way to get heat back, and I feel like they should put Giulia VS Mia on WrestlePalooza to show the Women’s US title matters.

I had a good chuckle at the recap from last week because they used the reshoot they did for the USA Network cut. Not even sure why they did that. Did they just want Logan to look a little less cowardly and more assertive with his cheap shots? Great promo from Logan and Cena again, though I guess this counts as one of Cena’s last appearances. Going into the segment, I felt they could’ve gotten away with Cena just sucker punching Logan in return and Cena tells WWE “this one’s on the house,” aka not counting towards the appearances. But as they got in it, Cena getting to have #BelgianKid in the crowd, that’s good stuff, so I’ll accept how this went. I just don’t know if this counts as “standing tall” so that the math favors Logan…

Very good promos from Bo Dallas with the Profits and then with Melo & Miz. It was a fitting move given both teams are playing with fire in terms of “Are they that close of a team?” Great tag match from them, the fans loved all four guys, but I didn’t think the Wyatts would affect the outcome like that. This certainly puts Miz and Melo on track for feuding with each other, and then I didn’t realize they were going to add the tag titles to Clash in Paris like this. I feel like Gacy & Lumis find a way to win, and that puts more pressure on The Profits. They did mention how they’ve been a team for eight years, and I don’t know if they’d make that a relevant detail unless it was going to be followed by, “Eight years, and it’s all over…”

Very good promos from Aleister and Priest, feels like they’re definitely having some kind of Street Fight as their next match, and part of me hopes it counts towards naming a #1 contender to the US Championship. And with that, what a great match from Solo VS Sami. Good promos going into it, though I feel like Sami had his hands tied in referencing Karrion Kross being why Sami couldn’t get going on Raw… But naturally, we get Jimmy & Jacob fighting off MFT for Sami’s sake. I almost thought that was going to mean Solo cheats on his own, but Sami winning here was the right choice. He’s been doing great work, this is his reward, and he really is that much closer to the Grand Slam, following in the footsteps of many greats, including his best friend, Kevin Owens.

My Score: 8.8/10

MJF arrives backstage.

Renee Paquette is there to bring up tonight’s main event is Darby Allin VS Konosuke Takeshita for the AEW World Championship. If Darby Allin wins, MJF will then have to sign a contract for Title VS Hair at Double or Nothing. Darby has made it clear that if MJF doesn’t sign said contract, Darby will never allow MJF to face him for the title again. We all know how important the title is for MJF, but is MJF willing to put his hair on the line for it? MJF just chuckles and moves on, but he notices the very bald Rick Knox, Bryce Remsburg, and the head of security, David Aponte. And then various bald members of the production staff…

And then even Christopher Daniels & Sonjay Dutt are there! Daniels and Sonjay chuckle before moving on, and then MJF sees John Silver flexing. Brandon Cutler, some arena staff, and even Tommaso Ciampa, all bald. Then last but certainly not least, Ricochet! He tells MJF that don’t worry, he’ll look great. Just not as good as Ricochet. AHA~! MJF storms off, will he have no choice but to choose between gold belt and chrome dome?

10 Man Tag: Orange Cassidy, Adam Copeland, Christian Cage & The Young Bucks VS Tommaso Ciampa, David Finlay, Clark Connors & FTR w/ Stokely Hathaway!

While we know the AEW World Tag Team Championship match will be a conglomeration of I Quit Match and New York Street Fight, THE Conglomeration will be waiting on the other side for their own tag title match. And let’s not forget that Matt & Nick Jackson want their own shot at those titles again. With that, can Freshly Squeezed work together with C&C and The Bucks? Or will the Psycho Killer, the Dogs, and the Top Guys all stand tall on the road to Double or Nothing?

The teams sort out and the teams just brawl it out! The fans cheer as The Bucks have The Dogs, Cope is after Ciampa, Christian is after Cash, and Dax brawls with Cassidy! Cassidy kicks and kicks but Ciampa drags him back! Cassidy turns to BOOT Ciampa away! Dax tags in and he CLOBBERS Cassidy! The fans boo but Dax flips them off. Dax whips Cassidy, runs up, but Cassidy dodges! Dax POSTS himself! Both men are down, hot tags to Cash and Nick! Nick rallies on FTR with haymakers, BLASTS Ciampa, but Cash kicks low! FTR whips, DOUBLE HIP- NO, Nick lands out, MEETING OF TEH MINDS! Then DOUBLE WHEEL KICK! The fans fire up as Nick then DROPKICKS Dax out! The Dogs run up, but Nick knuckle locks and CHOPS Finlay! Then FTR is sent into The Dogs before DOUBLE SUPERKICKS! Ciampa runs up to waistlock but Nick switches. Ciampa BOOTS Matt away, ELBOWS Nick, but Matt dodges, PSYCHO KNEE into Cash! DOUBLE SUPERKICKS for Ciampa!

The fans fire up again, and The Bucks see C&C. They point to Christian, and the fans cheer! Christian steps in, the ref reprimands but Cope argues with the ref. This distraction lets Christian LOW BLOW Cash! DOUBLE SUPERKICKS for Cash! Christian covers, TWO! Cash survives, the fans boo, but Christian rains down fists while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Christian puts Cash in the corner to CHPO, CHOP, and then rain down fists! Christian goes past TEN, maybe to fifteen, then stops. Cash sputters, Stoke talks trash, but Christian grabs Stoke! Cash CLUBS Christian, Ciampa HOTSHOTS the bad arm, and Ciampa hurries to tag in. Ciampa drags Christian around, SLAMS the bad arm off the mat, then SLAMS the arm again! Ciampa POSTS Christian, and Christian falls to the apron. The ref keeps his eyes on the rest of the team so they stay back. Ciampa goes out, and he SWINGS the bad arm into the post! Christian scrambles away, clutching the arm, but Ciampa taunts Cope with a wave.

Ciampa tags Connors, Connors tags Finlay, and The Dogs stomp away on Christian. Finlay clamps onto the bad hand, bends the fingers, then JAMS them into the mat! The ref reprimands but Finlay anchors Christian while he tags in Dax. Dax CHOPS Christian, DECKS him, then taunts Cope and The Bucks. The Bucks rally the fans, Cope coaches Christian up, but Dax brings Christian around. Christian blocks a shot to hit back, but then Dax kicks low! Dynamite returns to single picture as Dax UPPERCUTS Christian back to the corner. Stoke is on commentary suddenly to say Christian tried to steal Stoke’s watch, aka the watch Stoke stole from Christian.

But Christian fires back on Dax and the whole corner! Then he and Dax DOUBLE LARIAT! The fans fire up while both men are down! Christian crawls, but we can see Cash and The Dogs sneaking over! Another star-studded 10 Man Tag, and it was a huge win for all the hungry contenders. Christian doesn’t wanna celebrate, but he does signal that he and Cope will be champions. Will putting their tag team legacy on the line be enough to take the gold? Or will Double or Nothing be the last night that team reeks of awesomeness?

Will Ospreay continues to train with The Death Riders.

They’re outside this time, Claudio Castagnoli playing some wall ball with Marina Shafir and Pac. Daniel Garcia says, “Tonight is the night that we’ve all been waiting for: The Aerial Assassin, Will Ospreay, is cleared and back on Dynamite. And rumor has it, the kid’s been working real hard and he’s got some new tricks up his sleeves. So Young Boy Billy, tonight you gotta show me something, c’mon.” Garcia gets a quick turn in on wall ball while cameras move over. Ospreay is maintaining a neck bridge while Jon Moxley uses Wheeler Yuta as a living dummy to show just how to push and pull and bend and twist on the various chinlocks and headlocks.

Use the right arm to push against the head, then snake in the left arm for the sleeper. Pry and shoot. Moxley asks how Ospreay feels. Ospreay lets off the bridge and says honestly, the best he’s felt in forever. Moxley asks if Ospreay remembers the night he won the Best of the Super Juniors. Yeah, 2019. AKA a lifetime ago. Ospreay was carefree, flew like a bird, for no other reason than that’s just what birds do. So simple back then, chasing that feeling, like no other feeling in the world. Can’t really grab it in your hands for more than a few seconds. The joy of doing it. Then everybody comes in and tries to make it so overcomplicated.

Years pass, life happens, a family starts, responsibilities show up, bad things happen, bad choices catch up to you, and it’s all weight on your shoulders. You feel like you can’t fly. But Moxley will tell you something: Nothing is different. Nothing has changed. All those things are still gonna be there, but you can still fly. You’re just more dangerous now. You’re a bird of prey. So tonight, when you got out there, don’t go out there to protect anything. Not your neck, your image, your reputation, or what you’ve built in your career. Go out there to give something. Moxley checks on Yuta and says dammit, if you’re gonna snap a headlock, snap the headlock!

Moxley storms off to instruct his pupil, but will Ospreay use everything he has been taught to great effect? Or will he have to fold against Ace Austin?

Chris Jericho speaks.

“You wanna face Jericho in a match of my own design, Ricochet? A spectacle so innovative, so imaginative, it cannot be contained, it can only be witnessed. Well, be careful what you demand, because you’ve made a few enemies yourself, Ricochet. And now a match designed specifically to settle scores without any, and I mean AAANY~, limitations has gotten even bigger.” Chris Jericho & The Hurt Syndicate were just looking for two more, but “Jungle” Jack Perry said he can bring four: himself, The Young Bucks, and KENNY OMEGA! Jericho tells Ricochet that this is no longer what he designed, but it is a devil’s dance of destruction! Ricochet’s destruction!

Ricochet got what he wanted, now can he handle it? Bald. The first-ever SEVEN VS SEVEN Stadium Stampede, who will even survive?

Ricochet & The Demand respond.

They stand with Mark Davis of the Don Callis Family and Ricochet says we all know Jericho does a lot of talking out of his ass while The Demand gets things done. Just like Davis did when he defeated Jack for the AEW National Championship at Fairway to Hell. Hold it with pride, Davis, Ricochet knows you’ll do it well. Davis says he’s got this. Ricochet says Davis has joined the dream team, but he’s not the only one. Because compliments to Ricochet’s golfing buddy, Don Callis, look who else he’s sending: Andrade El Idolo! Gracias, amigo. But it doesn’t stop there, the train keeps rolling. Ricochet was just approached by two guys who have an ax to grind with the superkick sidekicks.

These two wanna fill out the last two spots, so who is Ricochet to say no to The Dogs? Finlay & Connors storm in, and Finlay says to put it simple, they will fight The Bucks in the streets, in the ring, but guess it’s fighting at Double or Nothing! If they want violence, if they want carnage, if they want chaos, who better than The Dogs?! The Dogs bark and Liona roars, but will these seven stand tall in the Big Apple?

“Speedball” Mike Bailey w/ Kevin Knight VS BK Westbrook!

JetSpeed has a lot of momentum on their side, and as stated last week at Fairway to Hell, they’re looking to grab up all the gold they can. Will Speedball keep on rolling towards his own golden opportunity? Or will #Supastud prove his own worth?

The bell rings and the fans rally as the two step up. Bailey bows in respect, offers a handshake, but Westbrook goes to roll Bailey up! Bailey stays on his feet, then steps over to sit down on a cover, TWO! Westbrook ducks a Penalty Kick, avoids the moonsault, and the sweep! Bailey dodges, Westbrook tiger feints through the ropes, but Bailey handsprings up and over! The fans fire up as Bailey ducks an elbow to whip. Westbrook goes up, around, but kinda fumbles his tumble. The fans cheer and jeer him for his attempt, but Westbrook blocks the boot! Westbrook FLIPS Bailey, springboards in, but Bailey dodges! TIME ADVENTURE!

Bailey pushes Westbrook down, goes up the corner, and the fans fire up for the ULTIMATE WEAPON! Cover, Bailey wins!

Winner: Mike Bailey, by pinfall

Another fast ‘n’ furious finish, and Bailey’s on a hot streak! But now, the other side of JetSpeed looks to keep it up! But just who is Kevin Knight defending the TNT Championship against? It’s… BRIAN CAGE!? The Machine finally returns to action, and he has the Don Callis Family with him! Will Cage be able to ground Knight and take this title back to the family?

AEW TNT Championship Open Challenge: Kevin Knight w/ “Speedball” Mike Bailey VS Brian Cage w/ The Don Callis Family!

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who betta!

The bell rings, Cage runs up, but Knight dodges! Knight fires haymakers, Cage shoves him, but Knight dodges. Knight CHPOS, but Cage doesn’t budge! Cage makes the pecs dance, so Knight CHOPS again! The fans cheer as Cage eggs Knight on. Knight urns, leaps, but into Cage’s arms! Cage uses Knight to do curls, then THROWS knight! Knight lands out, RAMS Cage, but Cage comes back! Knight RAMS Cage again, but it’s still not enough! Knight tries a bigger SHOULDER TACKLE, but Cage stays standing! Knight runs one more time, ducks ‘n’ dodges, SATELLITE- NO, Cage stops the DDT! Cage THROWS Knight away!

Knight staggers, Cage SUPERKICKS him down! “Who betta than Cage?!” The fans fire up as Cage storms up on Knight, stands him up, and bumps him off buckles. Cage RAMS into Knight, stands him up, then RAMS again! The ref counts, Cage CHOPS, and the fans cheer. Bailey rallies the fans but Archer coaches Cage, and Cage whips Knight hard into the corner! The fans are torn as Cage hauls Knight up. Cage ROCKS Knight, CHOPS him, then CHOKES him on the ropes! The ref counts, Cage stops at 4, then Cage stalks Knight. Cage stands Knight up, whips him to the corner, then runs in, only for Knight to BOOT! Cage still LARIATS!

Cage hauls Knight up, whips him to ropes, but Knight grabs ropes. Knight DUMPS Cage out, then DROPKICKS him down! Cage sputters, the fans fire up, and Knight builds speed to DIVE! But he bounces off Cage! Cage then fireman’s carries, APRON F5! Knight sputters but Cage goes up the steps to soak up cheers and jeers, all while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Cage refreshes the ring count, drags Knight up again, and hits an APRON BACK SUPLEX! Knight writhes, Cage refreshes the count again, then he whips Knight into barriers! Knight practically falls into the laps of the front row! But Cage brings Knight around to CHOP him down! Cage soaks up the cheers and jeers before he brings Knight around again. Cage SMACKS Knight off the apron, then puts him in the ring. Cage storms into the ring, drags Knight by his legs, and ties the legs up into a TEXAS CLOVERLEAF! Knight endures as Cage sits deep! Knight powers up, fights his way forward, and he reaches to the ROPEBREAK!

The ref counts, Cage lets go at 4, but Cage brings Knight up. Knight CHOPS, CHOPS, and CHOPS, but Cage still doesn’t back down. Knight fires more shots, but Cage UPPERCUTS him down! Cage digs his boot into Knight at the corner, but he stops as the ref counts. Cage drags Knight up, puts him in a corner, and LARIATS! Cage wrenches to then SAIDO Knight away! Knight flounders to the apron, Cage soaks up more cheers and jeers, and Dynamite returns to single picture. Knight rises to fire forearms on Cage, but Cage ROCKS Knight in return! Cage slingshots Knight into a facelock, for a SPIRALING SUPLEX! Cover, TWO!

Knight survives and Cage is frustrated, but Cage decides to write Knight off. Cage drags Knight up, reels him in, and suplexes, DRILL- NO, Knight slips free to waistlock. But Cage ELBOWS Knight, whips, but Knight jumps up! SATELLITE- NO, Cage goes for ropes! Knight HOTSHOTS Cage for it! Then Knight springboards back in, MISSILE DROPKICK! The fans fire up while both men are down! A standing count starts while the fans rally up. Cage goes to a corner but he runs up on Knight. Knight bobs ‘n’ weaves, fires off shots, then fires a flurry of haymakers! But Cage grabs and TOSSES Knight to a corner!

Cage runs up, Knight dodges, and Knight runs back in. Knight ducks ‘n ‘dodges, FLAPJACK DROPKICK! The fans fire up as Cage bails out! Knight builds speed and FLIES! Cage catches him?!? The fans go nuts as Cage lifts, but Knight RANAS Cage into POST! The fans cheer as Knight hurries to get space. Knight runs, goes up the apron, and LEAPING LARIATS! Down goes Cage! The fans fire up with Knight, he puts Cage in the ring, and he hurries up the corner. Archer creeps up, but Bailey SUPERKICKS him! The fans cheer, but Cage CLUBS Knight! Cage then climbs up, and he deadlift SUPERPLEXES! Cover, TWO!

The fans fire up as Knight survives, but Archer guzels Bailey! Bailey fights free of the choke slam to mule kick Archer! Cage runs up, but Bailey springboards to ARIHARA MOONSAULT! AEW reveals the Men’s Owen Hart Memorial Tournament Brackets!

This year’s tournaments will go through Double or Nothing, and the finals will coincide with Forbidden Door 2026 on Sunday, June 28th in San Jose, California! The winner of each tournament will then challenge for THE AEW World Championship and AEW Women’s World Championships on August 30th at All In: London! And so, for the opening round, it will be: “Jungle” Jack Perry VS Mark Davis; Claudio Castagnoli VS Brody King; then Double or Nothing has both Samoa Joe VS Will Ospreay, and Swerve Strickland VS Bandido!

“Jungle” Jack Perry speaks.

“Mark Davis… I’m sure you feel some congratulations are in order. But you’re not champion to me. You see, you’re built like an Australia grizzly bear, yet you still needed somebody to hit me in the back with a golf club for you to beat me. At Stadium Stampede, bring your friends, bring any weapon you want, and I will crack you over the skull with it. Because anything goes. But after that, it’s back to grass roots, because it is you and me, fighting for a shot at the world title at All In: London. And in the Owen Hart Tournament, I will prove to you beyond a shadow of a doubt that I’m a better wrestler than you. I am the FUTURE world champion!

“And if you don’t like that, F YOU!” Jungle Jack is sharpening his knife, but will his edge be razor sharp when it comes time to cut down Dunkzilla?

Will Ospreay VS Ace Austin!

We’ve seen the Aerial Assassin training with The Death Riders, he’s won gold with his old friends in The United Empire, and now he’s about to face a dangerous man at Double or Nothing. Will Ospreay be more than ready for Samoa Joe after tonight? Or will he fail to even get past The Inevitable?

The bell rings and the fans cheer Ospreay as he stares down with Ace. Ospreay offers a handshake, Ace accepts, and the fans cheer the sportsmanship. They circle, tie up, and Ospreay wrenches to wristlock. Ace rolls, handsprings, and wrenches, but Ospreay rolls, kips up, and wrenches back. Ospreay hammerlocks, Ace rolls to kip up and wrench to then armlock. Ospreay endures the grind, fights around, and he arm-drags Ace down. Ace endures, fights around, and rises up. Ace shoots through to waistlock but Ospreay switches. Ospreay hits the headlock takeover, Ace headscissors, but Ospreay kips free.

The fans cheer the standoff, and the two reset. They feel things out, knuckle lock, and go shoulder to shoulder in a Test of Strength. The fans rally as Ace pushes Ospreay back. Ace has Ospreay down for a knuckle lock cover, ONE as Ospreay gets his arm up. Ace pushes it down, cover, ONE as Ospreay gets the other arm up. Ace tries again, ONE as Ospreay bridges! Ace jumps up, but Ospreay holds the bridge! That training truly pays off! Ace jumps, Ospreay gets him for a MONKEY FLIP! The fans fire up as Ospreay then arm-drags! Ospreay wristlocks and he bends the fingers! Ospreay isolates the arm to then STOMP it!

Ace clutches his arm as Ospreay shows his training already. Ospreay wrenches, ELBOW BREAKERS, then whips Ace. Ace reverses, he blocks a boot, but not the AX KICK! Ospreay goes to a corner, Ace CHOPS him, then reels Ospreay in for a snap suplex! Cover, TWO! Ospreay toughs it out but Ace drags him around.

Ace avoids another sweep, but Ospreay avoids the kick! Ace avoids yet another sweep by going up and over the corner! Ace WRECKS Ospreay with a dropkick, then aims to PLANCHA after all! Down goes Ospreay and the fans fire up! Ace drags Ospreay up, but Ospreay puts him int he ring! Ace rewinds to headscissor, but Ospreay pops Ace up to SUPERKICK the arm out! The fans fire up as Ospreay springboards, OSCUTTER! Cover, TWO! Ace survives and Ospreay is stunned! Ospreay just shakes it off, goes to the corner, and takes aim. Ace slowly rises up, but he ducks the Hidden Blade to DOUBLE STOMP! Ospreay sputters, Ace falls back, and now Ace takes aim. Ace runs corner to corner to A-LIST LARIAT! Then he LARIATS again and again! Ace hoists Ospreay up top, then slips outside to ENZIGIRI! Ospreay wobbles, Ace gets space, and Ace runs up! FLIPPING RANA! Ace TAPS, Ospreay wins!!

Winner: Will Ospreay, by submission

That might’ve been Ospreay’s first win by submission ever! He signals that his neck is no longer a problem, and he shows Ace respect for that fight. Ace accepts the handshake again, and Ospreay is moving on towards Double or Nothing with a great amount of momentum. But wait! SAMOA JOE is here! He and The Opps walk out on stage, and with mic in hand, Joe says, “Ospreay, Ospreay… OSPREAY, OSPREAY!” Joe is clearly mocking the chants for Ospreay, and the fans give genuine chanting and even singing in return. Joe says he just wanted to make sure Ospreay was listening, because these past few weeks, it seemed like Ospreay had a hard time hearing him.

Despite Ospreay’s best efforts, fate has put them on a collision course in the opening round of the Owen Hart Cup. The fans like the sound of that! Joe say she is here for one reason and one reason alone. He wants to speak about choices and consequences. Ospreay could’ve made the right choice and get a bye in this tournament, because that is what Joe would do for one of his friends. But Ospreay chose poorly. He could’ve been with the team that would do nothing but support and enhance Ospreay, but he decided to be a lapdog for Moxley and the Death Riders. The fans boo, Ospreay says he’s not a Death Rider.

Joe says Ospreay has made his choice, and come Double or Nothing, Joe makes Ospreay suffer the consequences. But Joe leaves Ospreay in peace tonight, for he has his date with destiny. But unfortunately, Joe’s friends, Katsuyori Shibata & Anthony Bowens, still feel slighted, and he doesn’t put leashes on his friends. Shibata & Bowens storm down the ramp, Ospreay ready to fight them both if he has to. But then The Death Riders appear! Ospreay may not have officially joined the club, but the Death Riders aren’t going to let their investment go to waste! The Opps say they’re #NeverLacking, but that doesn’t seem to be the case now!

Shibata & Bowens back down while Moxley, Marina, Claudio, Yuta, Garcia & Pac all step up to support Ospreay. Joe says, “Soon. Soon.” The fans cheer the Death Riders, or at least Moxley, but Bowens promises Joe is gonna kill you, Ospreay! The dream match for Double or Nothing is on, but will the training with The Death Riders make Ospreay the new King of Harts?

BREAKING NEWS for next week!

If you liked last week’s THREE HOUR block of AEW, then you’ll love this next one! Portland, Maine, the last Wednesday before Double or Nothing, Dynamite & Collision are combining forces again! Three hours all on TBS and HBO Max, make sure your DVR is set accordingly!

Backstage interview with Don Callis & Konosuke Takeshita.

Renee is now with The Invisible Hand & The Alpha, saying tonight is a huge opportunity in the main event, Konosuke facing Darby Allin for THE AEW World Championship. Konosuke could be heading into Double or Nothing as a- Callis stops Renee there to say Konosuke will be heading into Double or Nothing as a DOUBLE champion! But then MJF steps in, apologizes for the interruption but says Renee’s doing a great job. The Scumbag tells Konosuke that while it’s been a minute since the two of them have talked, three years actually, back when MJF beat him… MJF has seen Konosuke develop into truly one of the best wrestlers in the world!

MJF believes that tonight, Konosuke beats Darby for the title, goes to DON to beat Okada, and MJF can’t think of a better match than Konosuke VS MJF Part 2 for the world title. How’s that sound? MJF offers a handshake, Konosuke shakes his hand, but in Japanese, Konosuke tells MJF that he’ll beat the crap out of him. Thankfully, MJF doesn’t know Japanese. Callis says that was a nice pep talk MJF just gave, and MJF says yes, he knows. That kid needs to win, okay? MJF can’t let Darby turn him into some disgusting, bald freak! No offense, Callis looks great. But look, there is only one foolproof way to know MJF won’t be put in that situation.

So if things get hairy… MJF hands over the Dynamite Diamond Ring! Callis smiles, and say she understands what to do with it. But then in steps Andrade. El Idolo takes off his hat to shake out his amazing head of hair, and smiles at MJF. MJF frowns and leaves. Callis says here’s the deal: Takeshita will bring the world title home to the Don Callis Family tonight! Andrade asks, “How you know?” Callis says aye dios mio, he seriously doesn’t know where Andrade learned English. Andrade says one way or another, the next time, that will be HIS title. Callis says yes, he knows, it’s all good. Callis is a man of many talents, but will his family be dripping with gold thanks to a diamond ring?

AEW now announces the Women’s Owen Hart Memorial Tournament brackets!

Double or Nothing will see Willow Nightingale, the reigning Queen of Harts, take on Alex Windsor, while we will see Persephone VS Hazuki, Skye Blue vs Sareee, and Mina Shirakawa VS Athena! Champions from around the world are gathering for this tournament, but who will be headed to Forbidden Door, and then All In: London?

Backstage interview with The Conglomeration.

Renee Paquette is now with Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly, Roderick Strong, and Willow Nightingale. Renee commends Cassidy on his part in the 10 Man Tag victory. But it seems that there is even more business to attend to. Cassidy says yes, the team has a shot at THE AEW World Tag Team Championships. It doesn’t matter who it is, they’re getting their shot, but the thing is… They still haven’t decided on which two will be. Kyle says Cassidy & Roddy should go for the gold, but Roddy shouts, “KYYYLE~! Thank you.” Kyle says of course. But that’s cuz he’s got gold to chase for himself!

The same man that put Kyle on the shelf for months is the man that Kyle submitted twice, and will submit again. Jon Moxley, Continental Champion, when are we doing this? Willow says speaking of gold, she is still the TBS Champion. But she is also in the Owen Hart Cup. She won this tournament before, she’ll do it all over again, so that she can have all the gold for herself at All In: London. She knows she can, and she will! Then Conglomeration has it all in order? Cassidy says hold on, there’s something missing. They should do a Word of the Day. Why haven’t they done one in so long? Roddy shouts for “MAAARK~!” And yes, Mark Briscoe returns!

The Sussex County Chicken is all fired up, and he says the Word of the day is reunification! For Mark Briscoe is back with his boys and his girls, The Conglomeration! But he’ll put this plain and simple: Tommaso Ciampa! Next Wednesday, Briscoe’s after your ass, son! You hear him? But before that, Saturday Night Collision is in HIS hometown, Salisbury, Maryland! That’s just 4.4 miles from where Briscoe originated on this earth! They’re gonna conglomerate and it’s gonna be a a hell of a time! Are you ready!? Willow and Kyle are fired up, Briscoe goes wild, and the team heads out. Cassidy admits, that was a lot of yelling.

But while The Conglomeration is ready to go Double or Nothing, will they soon have even more gold in the collection? Or are these high and lofty a little too much even for them?

Six Woman Tag: Hikaru Shida & The Brawling Birds VS The Triangle of Madness!

With the news of both the AEW Women’s World Championship Fatal 4 Way for Double or Nothing, and the Owen Hart Cup brackets, this trios match is about much more than just settling scores! Will the Shining Samurai be just as sharp as Jamie Hayter going into that title match? Or will Thekla, Skye Blue & Julia Hart continue to bring them down by any means necessary?

The trios sort out and Jamie steps up against Thekla as both a rematch from their 1v1 title match, and a preview of what’s to come in the next. They circle, but then Skye CLOBBERS Jamie! Julia steps in, but so do Shida and Windsor! The Triangle throws hands on Shida & The Birds, then triple whip. But all three reverse, a BOOT for Thekla, a DDT for Skye, and a BACKBREAKER for Julia! The fans cheer as The Triangle bails out! Shida goes out to keep after Skye while Windsor goes after Julia. Jamie gets Thekla back in the ring while Shida and Windsor have the Sisters of Sin in the corners of the barriers. The fans cheer as they all rain down fists!

Windsor, Jamie & Shida all go to nine, then wind up for TEN! The fans cheer again while Thekla sputters. Jamie snap suplexes, but Skye ROCKS Shida! Jamie stomps Thekla, Windsor SLAMS Julia off barriers, and Jamie stomps a mudhole in the corner. The ref counts, Jamie lets off, but Skye and Windsor meet while tightrope walking the barriers! Skye and Windsor trade shots, they wobble a bit, then Skye DECKS Windsor! Skye keeps from falling into the crowd, but Jamie gets her! Windsor joins in and the Birds double gorilla press, SNAKE EYES off the apron! The fans fire up, but Thekla is up top! SUPER CROSSBODY onto The Birds!

The fans fire up again and Thekla is feeling it while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Thekla stomps Windsor, CLUBS Jamie, then helps Skye. But Shida runs up, only for Thekla to ELBOW her down! The Triangle has control again, they ROCK Jamie and Shida and Windsor, then send them all to the desk. The Triangle CHOP again and again and again! Then they wind up, but feint chops to SMACK all three off the apron! The Triangle soaks up the cheers and jeers before putting Jamie back in the ring. Thekla brings Jamie up, snapmares her down, then basement SUPERKICKS! Cocky cover, TWO! Thekla drags Jamie to the corner, tags Julia, and Julia runs up to LARIAT! Then she goes side to side to ELBOW Jamie down!

Julia snapmares Jamie to a cover, TWO! Julia is annoyed but she rains down fists. The ref reprimands, Julia stops, but then she sucker punches Windsor! And Shida, too! Julia then drags Jamie over, bumps her off buckles, and tags in Skye. Skye stomps Jamie around, then digs her boot in! The ref counts, Skye stops at 4, then she brings Jamie up. Jamie fires forearms and CHOPS, but Skye THROWS Jamie down by her hair! The ref reprimands again but Skye rains down forearms. Skye snapmares Jamie, mule kicks her, then covers, TWO! Skye frowns but she stomps Jamie down. Skye tags Julia while Dynamite returns to single picture.

Skye whips Jamie into Julia’s grasp, and Skye BLASTS Shida & Windsor while Julia tags Thekla. Julia has Jamie in the TARANTULA, and Skye sends Windsor in for Thekla’s HANGING HEADSCISSORS! Skye runs up to DOUBLE SHOTGUN The Birds! The fans are torn but Thekla says that’s how the Triangle does it, baby! Thekla then aims to MISSILE- NO, Jamie gest under! Thekla lands out, but Jamie BOOTS her down! Jamie looks at Shida, Shida is hesitant, but Shida tags in! The fans cheer as Shida sends Theknla to the corner, then JUMP KNEES! Shida keeps moving, she BLASTS Skye! Julia ROCKS Shida back!

Julia storms in but Shida kicks her and whips her into Thekla! Shida KNEES them both in the corner! Then Shida puts Thekla sideways in the corner, reels Julia in, and she snap suplexes Julia into Thekla! The fans fire up as Shida then suplexes Thekla high and hard! Cover, TWO! Shida stands Thekla up, Thekla swings but Shida ROCKS her first! And ROCKS her again! Thekla wobbles, swings, but Shida catches Thekla for another forearm! Shida runs the ropes but Thekla mule kicks! Thekla SMACKS Shida, then she dodges a boot to DECK Shida! Thekla talks trash on Shida, then drags her up to tag in Julia.

Julia tags Skye, then tag back to Thekla. The Sisters of Sin hit the DOUBLE GOURD BUSTER and DOUBLE SUPERKICKS! Thekla hits the bridge, and she aims for the SPIDER SPEAR! Cover, but The Birds CLOBBER The Sisters of Sin onto it! The fans fire up a Windsor DECKS Skye and Jamie HEADBUTTS Julia! The Birds drag Shida to safety, Windsor tags in, and she CLOBBERS Thekla! Windsor CLUBS away, then fires the fans up. Jamie steps in, BOOT RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP COMBO! Basement LARIAT! And then Windsor lifts! Jamie runs up, but Skye trips Jamie! The fans boo but Skye sends Jamie into steel steps!

Thekla sends Windsor into buckles! Tag to Julia before Shida runs up, TAMASHII KNEE on Thekla! Skye SUPERKICKS Shida! Jamie is back to clinch and HAYTBREAKER! Julia runs up, slips around, SOLE FOOD! Julia kips up, but Windsor is there to whip Julia to ropes! Skye tags in before the SPINEBUSTER! Skye SUPERKICKS Windsor, then brings her up! Skye hops on, CODE- NO, Windsor pops free! Skye SUPERKICKS again, but Windsor HEADBUTTS! The fans fire up as Jamie joins in again, and they DOUBLE LARIAT SANDWICH! Then they set Skye up, and Jamie says let’s try this again!

Jamie runs the ropes, but Thekla slides in, BELT SHOT on Jamie!! No question that the ref saw that! The Triangle is disqualified!

Winners: Hikaru Shida & The Brawling Birds, by disqualification

The Toxic Spider doesn’t care about this win, she just wants to do damage! Skye gets Windsor in a DRAGON SLEEPER! The ref stops Thekla from sing the title belt again, so Thekla just takes off her own belt! And she LASHES Windsor while Skye holds her down! More refs rush out here, but Julia MISTS the newbie in the face! Julia stomps away on Jamie, not caring about fines or consequences, either! The fans boo, and Shida is bailing on the Birds? Shida cares more about her chances in that Fatal 4 Way than anything else. But then Willow, Mina, and even Thunder Rosa rush out here! They chase The Triangle off with belts of their own!

The fans cheer as The Babe, the Fighting Gravure Idol & La Mera Mera save the day. But will Jamie make sure Thekla and Shida pay for this at Double or Nothing?

AEW World Championship: Darby Allin VS Konosuke Takeshita!

They say “card subject to change,” and that is true even for the best in the world. Kazuchika Okada’s real family takes priority, but his Don Callis Family brother was more than happy to step up for this opportunity. Will The Alpha already have two belts by the time he and The Rainmaker battle over the International Championship? Or will Darby truly be relentless in his pursuit of being the best fighting champion in AEW history?

The introductions are made, THE belt is raised, and we see who goes to Double or Nothing on top!
