Andrew’s TNA iMPACT! Results & Match Ratings: 9.25.2025

It’s the Go Home for Victory Road, though it is a little amusing that most of the eyes are on Bound for Glory, so even TNA is treating Victory Road as the Bound for Glory waiting room. A little hard to care about tomorrow’s show when it’s just window dressing for Bound for Glory but no real pressure or perceived threat on these matches. Especially after the information about Masha, so if she’s even still doing the match, I don’t foresee her winning.

Maybe the Knockouts Tag changes hands, but no matter how much I like Maggie Lee…those belts are worthless. I suppose there’s a chance Kaz wins the International Title as well, but that feels more like a shenanigans angle to drag any real finish to Bound for Glory since it’s only two weeks after. So it’s either a lazy rematch, or shenanigans happens at Victory Road and the International Match gets a stipulation.

Results:

The Rascalz vs Cedric Alexander & Leon Slater

Cedric and Wentz tie up early, quick tandem offense MCMG style with the High Speed Dirt. All four start throwing hands, the referee tries to get things under control, Trey and Cedric restart and they’re trading strikes. Trey gets caught, eats a Windup Knife Edge into a Dropkick to the back of the head and a near fall. Quick tags between Cedric and Slater, as Trey is selling and getting stomped on. Leon goes for the Crossover into the Hyper Extended Left Arm,  Dropkick after from Leon for another near fall. But Trey gets out of it, tags to Wentz and the Feint Kick sets Wentz reeling, 10 Count Punches that look awful with a stupid pause between and dance. Leon sucks so God Damn bad. Wentz finally counters the bad offense, side steps a Lethal Injection and hits his Back Handspring Knee Lift and Rascalz start some tandem attacks into a near fall from Trey. Trey with a stupid Hand Hold Monkey Flip into a twist and kick or something. Very World of Sport, executed poorly and looking idiotic. Thankfully we go to commercial because the last two minutes have been unwatchable indiriffic garbage.

Back from commercial Trey is in control still but Leon is starting to fire with the worst struggle up I’ve ever seen, catches Trey in a Flying Cutter, simultaneous tag incoming. Cedric runs over Trey, a few release Germans, he kicks Trey off the apron, Wentz stops the first Lumbar Check, but grabs Wentz into a Rope Assisted Tongan Twist and Michinoku Driver for two. A few chops, tags in Leon but Wentz catches Leon, Trey flies off the top to take out Cedric, Double Team move, near fall but then Cedric and Wentz take each other out, Leon takes too long to Plancha so it looks moronic. This is awful when Leon is on offense. Rascalz pull off the Pedigree/Swanton combo for only two.

Rascalz go for a Burning Hammer Combo, but Cedric breaks it up, Cedric Germans Wentz twice, dives onto Trey and Charisma Vacuum hits is stupid Swanton 450 for the win. I’ve had violent diarrhea better at wrestling than Leon Slater.

Victoria Crawford vs Jody Threat

Victoria ties up with Jody, tries to stomp her toes but Jody hits the Shoulder Block into Lariats into the corner, and Mentoria gets Belly to Belly’d across the ring, tries to powder, gets grabbed but pulls Jody into the bottom rope, low Dropkick, a little dance and some ground and pound from Alicia Fox, as expected. A Spin Kick gives Victoria the near fall, and Jody is on the receiving end. Arm Wringer from Victoria but Jody fires with Chops and Back Elbows, Victoria tries a Yakuza Kick but gets hung up in the ropes and Jody starts running her over. Push Kick sends Victoria into the ropes, Double Knees into the German and Jody is on a roll. But Tessa’s music hits.

Jody plays the babyface distracted by music part, eats the Axe Kick and Victoria Crawford wins as she runs to celebrate with her best friend.

Call Your Shot Gauntlet Qualifier Battle Royale

Mara Sade, Lei Ying Lee, Xia Brookside, Cardona, Hometown Man, AJ Francis, Killer Kelly, Mance Warner, Rosemary, Mokuba…I think that’s all in the match. AJ talks to each woman, makes some passes, tells Rosemary he won’t hit her but he’ll Chokeslam a bitch, so she mists him and everyone eliminates him. AJ Francis eliminated first. Ryan Nemeth trips Mara, Killer Kelly eliminates Mara and then Angel Warriors Eliminate Kelly. Mance hits Rosemary in throat to stop the mist and toss her out. Angel Warriors try to team up on Mance, but he levels them. Hometown Man tries to take on Mance, combination Punches. HTM puts on a Kevin Garnett jersey, Cardona and HTM double up on Mance, Reboot, HTM tries to toss Mance, Mance counters both HTM and Cardona, they stay on the apron, try to suplex Mance, but Ryan pulls Cardona and HTM off. Ryan interferes with Xia, and eliminates Xia. Ryan attacks Mance, Lei Ying lights up Ryan, Ryan tries to make quick work of Lei, but Low Bridge means Ryan flies out. Lei and Mance are the final two. Combination Palm Strikes, Flying Kick, Down Strike, 10 Count Punches, but Mance tries to throw out Lei, Lei almost gets Mance over, but he boots her off the apron, Xia will be number 1 entry and Mance is number 20.

Santana video package next. So if you watch weekly, this is a good time to get snacks, go to the bathroom, or get you laundry out of the machine.

Kaz & Jake Something vs Steve Maclin & Mr Anderson

Maclin starts off against Jake because Maclin refuses the early preview like a bitch. Jake gets a head of steam off the ropes, runs Maclin over, but Mac drops down, then pops up with a Back Elbow and stuns Jake. Mac tries a few more strikes, but a Vader Hammer across the neck rocks Maclin. Maclin tries to get a head of steam again, but a Thesz Press stops Maclin, Jake tags out, Kaz doesn’t want to lock up, so Anderson asks for the tag. Chops into bouncing Kaz’s face from buckle to buckle, a bit of a Splash, then the Back Body Drop, and Kaz is selling and begging off after the tag to Maclin. A little double team action, they knock out Kaz, Jake charges, they duck him and Double Clothesline on Jake. Kaz and Jake are trying to figure out a strategy on the outside. Kaz is taking his sweet time and talking smack, almost like he thinks its a commercial. But as Kaz stalls on the apron, Maclin Slingshots Kaz in, and Kaz continues to get worked over after telegraphing a Back Drop. Maclin tags to Anderson and a kick to the ribs keeps Kaz reeling.

Poke to the eyes, Sole Butt, Lariat and suddenly Kaz is in control landing the Ground and Pound. Jake sneaks in as the referee is distracted and attacks Anderson. Commentary lambasts the referee because he argues with Jake that he didn’t see the tag, Jake calls him blind and ignores him. Not a great look to have commentary calling the head referee incompetent. Kaz Suplexes and works over Anderson for a near fall, this time a visible tag, and now Jake bear paw’s Anderson into the ground for another near fall. Kaz and Jake fake a tag noise and double team Anderson, they keep making fun of the referee. We head to a final commercial most likely.

We come back and both Kaz and Anderson are down, simultaneous tag, rope runs, but Maclin catches Jake with the Thesz Press. Kaz charges and eats a Busaiku, then Forever Lariats, into a Release German for Kaz, Caught in the Crosshairs on Jake, but Jake sits up, as Maclin tries to re-enter the ring, Kaz takes his head off, had the recovery scouted. Jake is primed for a Shoulder Tackle into the corner, near fall. Short Arm Clothesline from Jake and Maclin is seeing stars. Jake is looking for a Kneeling Chin Lock, almost like a modified Chicken Wing, Maclin fights back, Jaw Jacker, Rope Toss, Double Lariat Everybody down. Simultaneous tag time, Anderson and Kaz are in. Anderson strikes, Neckbreaker, Kaz slips the move for a Chicken…nope, Rolling Senton from Anderson as he looks for the Mic Check. Kaz Elbows out, Anderson counters and heads to the top. Jake slows him down, Kaz looks for Fade to Black, but Sunset from Anderson, MIC CHECK! But Jake breaks it up like a loser!

Maclin and Jake trade strikes, Jake wins there, tries to clock Anderson, but a Polish Hammer takes out Jake, Kaz goes for a Dirty Cradle but no, Sliding D Lariat into the Springboard Guillotine Leg Drop…1…2…Anderson kicks out! Kaz looks for the Chicken Wing, but Anderson reverses and gets in his own Chicken Wing as Jake breaks it up again. But Anderson fights off Jake and Kaz, tags out to Maclin, SCUD on Jake, Back Elbow from Mac, Olympic Slam, Caught in the Crosshairs, TAG EM AND BAG EM, KIA…but Jake interrupts again! Anderson shoves Jake into Kaz, Mic Check for Jake, KIA for Kaz, and Maclin & Anderson win.

Overall Score: 3/10

The main event was real solid, brings up wrestling logic questions of the person standing tall usually losing, but it was nice to see Anderson back. Dudleyz and Hardyz segment was a little long, but good. Tessa returning makes me happy. Lei Ying Lee getting some shine just to end up in the jabroni seat for the gauntlet…I’m not sure how I feel about that, but I’m a big fan of Lei Ying.

As for the rest, useless trash and a too long video package for Santana when they’ve told the story into the ground for the last few months. Let’s hope Victory Road doesn’t feel like a complete Speed Bump and real things happen.
