Once again, ROH and ACTION Wrestling combine for the third-ever Dean Rasmussen tribute show, AKA D3AN~!!! And tonight is an incredibly technical spectacle as we see a “Maestros Contras Maestros” match!

Maestros Contras Maestros Six Man Tag: Blue Panther, El Pantera y Virus VS Hechicero, Xelhua y Dr. Cerebro!

Now this is a unique match type! It is Best 2 Out of 3 Falls, and SUBMISSIONS ONLY, truly testing all six men and their technical prowess! Will it be Team Panther or Team Wizard that comes out as the true masters of their craft?

The trios sort out and the first fall starts with Pantera and Cerebro. The fans rally up as the two circle. They tie up, clinch, and Pantera puts Cerebro on the ropes. They break, reset, and feel things out. Cerebro headlocks, Pantera rolls to throw him away, and the two reset again. The fans applaud as the two reset again. They tie up, Cerebro trips Pantera and has the leg scissor toehold. Cerebro then floats to get the armlock, and he wrenches Pantera to a waistlock. Pantera throws Cerebro off, then headstands as part of the armlock! The fans applaud as Pantera stays up, but Cerebro kicks him down! The fans applaud as the two reset.

They feel things out, Cerebro drop toeholds, and he facelocks. Pantera wrenches, Cerebro arm-drags, and Pantera backs away. Cerebro tags Xelhua, Pantera tags Blue Panther, and the fans rally up for “Panther! Panther!” They shake hands and the fans applaud. The two then circle, tie up, and Xelhua wrenches to cording hold. Panther fights off the other cording hold, trips Xelhua, and he has the standing toehold! The fans applaud, but Xelhua rolls over. The two get up and the fans rally up. Xelhua shoots to get that leg, and he has the modified deathlock. Panther fights free to  float and headscissor! The fans rally, Xelhua pushes Panther around, then handsprings free!

The fans applaud as both men reset again. They feel things out again, Panther rolls to the leg pick! Panther has the legs tied up, then he stands on the legs to then pull Xelhua into a DEATHLOCK SURFBOARD! Xelhua endures, rolls free, and the fans fire up for “PANTHER! PANTHER!” Panther and Xelhua reset, circle, and then Xelhua shoots around to waistlock and trip Panther. Xelhua willingly goes under Panther to go for a leg, but Panther slips around and floats all over! The two stand off and the fans applaud. And naturally, Panther tags in Virus while Xelhua tags in Hechicero. These two circle, feel things out, and the fans rally “VI-RUS! VI-RUS!”

Hechi and Virus tie up, fight for control, and Hechi wrenches, only for Virus to slip free and trip Hechi! Virus YANKS the leg into a straight leglock! Hechi endures, kicks free, then grabs Virus’ leg for a spinning toehold! The fans duel, Virus rolls, but Hechi steps over to then roll to a lateral press. The ref reminds him, this is a submissions only. Virus rolls, wrenches, tries to cover, Hechi still kicks free, and the fans applaud the reset. They knuckle lock, then Hechi has the top wristlock. Virus flips through and arm-drags Hechi! The fans applaud and Hechi fights up. Virus CHOPS, whips, but Hechi reverses. Virus BOOTS back, goes up, and FLYING WHEELBARROW!

Virus tries to roll it, but Hechi rolls it back! But again the ref reminds him, no pinfalls! Submissions only! Hechi steps through, hooks the legs up, but Virus slips back to trip Hechi! Hechi slips back to trip Virus, then rolls him into the PLUMA BLANCA! And he ROLLS it around and around and around! Hechi still wants a cover but he remembers for himself, no pinfalls! Hechi is annoyed, but he bobs ‘n’ weaves to CALF KICK! The fans cheer while Hechi stalks Virus. Virus bails out, lucha rules lets Pantera come in! Things speed up and Pantera victory rolls Hechi right outta the ring! Cerebro jumps in and mule kicks Pantera! Pantera bails out, Panther RAMS Cerebro!

Panther runs up, Cerebro DUMPS him out! Cerebro runs up, Panther dodges, and he FLYING RANAS Hechi! The fans fire up, and now Virus speeds things up with Xelhua! Xelhua dodges the wheel kick to SPLASH an arm, then he hooks Virus into a BOW ‘N’ ARROW PLUMA BLANCA FUSION!! Virus endures, but he can’t escape! Virus TAPS, Xelhua scores the first fall!

Team Panther: 0; Team Hechicero: 1

The Aztec Giant shows he is a true prodigy of llave, and now things reset. Pantera helps Virus back to their corner, and the fans applaud. Xelhua and Pantera start this second fall, and Pantera runs up! Xelhua hurdles, handsprings, and comes back to ELBOW! Xelhua whips, Pantera reverses, then Pantera runs in. Xelhua pops Pantera up, but Pantera headstands on the corner! Pantera then DROPKICKS, speeds up, BACKDROP arm-drag! Xelhua tumbles out, Virus tags back in, but Cerebro trips him up. Things speed up, but Cerebro gator rolls. Cerebro brings Virus up in a headlock, Virus powers up and out, but Cerebro RUNS Virus over!

Virus trips Cerebro, then uses his head to hook a leg and flip Cerebro over! Then he waistlocks, rolls to a bridging cover, but again the ref reminds them that this is a submission match! Cerebro rolls Virus with his legs, both men stand, and they clinch. Virus hits a JUDO THROW, but Cerebro lands out. Virus breaks the clinch and the fans applaud. Virus and Cerebro tag Panther and Hechicero, and the fans fire up again! Panther gets a “SI! SI!” going to shout out his number one fan, Bryan Danielson. Hechi trips Panther, then fakes out the dropdown so he can roll Panther to BOOT him! Panther staggers back, Hechi CHOPS him, then puts him in another corner.

Hechi mocks the “SI! SI!” then CHOPS again. Hechi whips, but Panther goes up to CROSSBODY! Then Panther sunset flips, but Hechi rolls through to then high stack, and he gets the arms! INVERTED SURFBOARD! Panther endures, bridges, and he fights up with that core strength! Sunset flip again, but Cerebro attacks! The ref reprimands, the fans boo, but Hechi whips Panther into the corner. Panther headstands to RANA! Then he SPINEBUSTERS, and he has the legs! Cerebro attacks again! The fans boo but Panther arm-drags Cerebro away! Hechi runs up to RAM Panther! Hechi fires knees, then he whips, but Panther hits a FACEBUSTER!

The fans rally with “SI! SI! SI!” Panther gets moving, tilt-o-whirl and arm-drag! Hechi tumbles out, Panther aims, but Cerebro ELBOWS Panther! Cerebro CHOPS, whips, hip toss, but Panther rolls through. Cerebro springboards to FLYING CHUCK! Panther bails out, Pantera storms in, but Cerebro dodges, only for Pantera to scoop and BACKBREAKER! The fans fire up and Pantera CHOPS! Pantera whips, Cerebro reverses, but Virus helps Pantera go up and out so he can be legal. Virus then runs up, but Cerebro RUNS him over! Things keep moving, Virus ducks to then CHOP BLOCK! Then a basement DROPKICK!

Pantera adds a FROG SPLASH! The fans fire up for Virus y Pantera, but Xelhua DOUBLE CROSSBODIES! Xelhua shoves Pantera into Virus then runs. But Pantera pops Xelhua up, only for Xelhua to arm-drag Virus! Xelhua avoids Pantera’s senton! Then he scoops Virus to BACKBREAKER! And he scoops Pantera to a BACKBREAKER! Panther runs in and he SPINEBUSTERS! Then he has the legs, the arms, and the FLOATING PRETZEL LOCK! Xelhua verbally quits, Panther scores!

Team Panther: 1; Team Hechicero: 1

And now we are all tied up! The fans cheer Panther on as his team waits on an opponent. Xelhua steps up, he and Virus speed things up again. Virus whips, Xelhua reverses then hurdles. He arm-drags Virus, then wrenches to ELBOW Virus down! The fans applaud, Xelhua whips again, but Virus reverses to arm-drag back! Virus rolls, hooks an arm, then gets the other, and he even gets a leg! INVERTED BOW ‘N’ ARROW! But Hechi BOOTS Virus! Virus still holds onto Xelhua with a Seatbelt, but Hechi BLASTS Panther y Pantera! Then he kicks Virus back the other way! Virus still has the Inverted Bow ‘n’ Arrow!

Hechi rains down fists and Virus lets Xelhua free. Xelhua bails out, Hechi whips Virus, and then he FLAPJACKS Virus! Hechi floats, hooks the arms, rolls and rolls, then has the GROUND OCTOPUS! Pantera gets in and stomps Hechi! Then he has Hechi’s legs in a modified Texas Cloverleaf! But then Cerebro attacks Pantera! Cerebro wrenches, hammerlocks, then wrenches through to have a double armlock! But Panther storms in, “SI! SI! SI!” LARIAT! Panther has Cerebro’s legs, steps through, and goes for the classic SHARPSHOOTER! But of course Xelhua BOOTS Panther! Xelhua then top wristlocks, and he ties up the legs, GUITAR CLUTCH!

Pantera BOOTS Xelhua! Pantera wrenches, hammerlocks, then rolls Xelhua to have the leg hook nelson! Hechi YANKS Pantera’s leg! Hechi whips Pantera, Pantera reverses, but Hechi goes up and out. Hechi blocks a kick, ROCKS Pantera, then DRAGON SCREWS the leg! Hechi goes up, leaps, FLYING LARIAT! Panther is in, Hechi wrenches and hammerlocks to swing Panther for the BACKBREAKER! Victory roll on Virus, for a NAVARRO DEATH ROLL! Pantera storms in, but Hechi catches him to a cradle! The cover won’t count but Hechi still has Virus’ legs! Virus flails, but Hechi lets go, thinking that was a tap.

The ref says no, that wasn’t a tap. Panther speeds things up again and he LARIATS Hechi! Then he runs up, but Hechi puts him up top. Panthera FLYING RANAS! The fans fire up and Panther hurries to the apron. Cerebro is in as the legal man, but Panther just CROSSBODIES onto Hechi! The fans fire up for Panther as Pantera speeds things up with Cerebro! Cerebro victory rolls, ties up the legs, and it’s an INVERTED FIGURE FOUR! Pantera flails, reaches out, ROPEBREAK! Cerebro lets go, things keep moving, and Pantera arm-drags! Cerebro bails out but Pantera DIVES! Direct hit and they both hit railing!

Virus and Xelhua return, and Virus arm-drags! And arm-drags again! And DROPKICKS Xelhua out! Virus builds speed to WRECK- NO, Xelhua avoids the dropkick! Xelhua CHOPS, CHOPS, and cording holds. But Virus runs up  to the post, TIGER WALL ARM-DRAG! Panther puts Hechi in, “This is Awesome!” Panther climbs up, but Hechi HOTSHOTS Panther away! But Pantera is there to roll Hechi! Hechi kicks him away, but Pantera comes back, sunset flip! Again, no cover, but Pantera stalks Hechi to the corner. Pantera CHOPS, whips, but Hechi reverses. Hechi runs up to STEP-UP KNEE! Step over, double arm hook and Hechi drags Pantera down.

Hechi traps both arms, and he has Pantera’s legs! Pantera endures this wild hybrid hold! HE QUITS, TEAM HECHI WINS!

It was rather hectic at times, but the Alchemist of Lucha pulls it out for his team! Will this big win lead to big things for Hechicero, Dr. Cerebro y Xelhua?

Backstage interview with La Faccion Ingobernable.

Lexy Nair is with Dralistico, Beast Mortos, and the NEW ROH World Tag Team Champions, Sammy Guevara y Rush. But she has to ask, at Death Before Dishonor, Sammy’s betrayal of- Sammy hushes Lexy and says everyone’s favorite pillar is about to speak. He knows she’s blonde, but listen. They call it “betrayal,” but Sammy calls it leveling up! The Von Erichs lost a “sexy soldier,” but LFI gained a killer! And if anybody in that locker room has a problem… Y’know what? Lexy, go, get outta here, Sammy’s married. Lexy leaves while in disbelief, but Sammy tells everyone to camera, “If anybody in that locker room has a problem, well…”

Dralistico says, “Then everyone will burn!” Rush says that this has always been the goal, and this is just the beginning for LFI! And if anyone has any problem with their new brother, Sammy, then they will have LFI to deal with! Listen! Step by step, step by step, EVERYONE will know that LFI are the best in the world! Because remember: When you mess with the bull, you get the horns! Mortos adds a roar while everyone throws up the longhorns, will ROH be anything but tranquilo?

Mark Sterling talks with Stori Denali.

Smart Mark says he has a question: What makes Stori think she has what it takes to be a Premier Athlete? What does she have that makes her good- No, great enough to be a Premier Athlete? He could run a marathon before a drop of sweat ever hits the ground. Then there’s Ariya Daivari, a prescient psychologist extraordinaire, wealthy beyond belief. An entrepreneur, a mogul, a Renaissance man who makes his money work for him, and his opponents. He doesn’t do this for the money, he just likes to win.

Then there’s Mark Sterling. Some say he’s a genius, but everyone else are just idiots. He has amassed a collection of soldiers in the war against mediocrity. The question is: What makes Stori a Premier Athlete? She grabs Sterling by the neck! Nese & Daivari say works for them. Will Stori help the team reach new heights?

The Spanish God looks more like a Texas-born Judas after what he did to Ross & Marshall Von Erich at Death Before Dishonor. But “The Best Ever” is now teaming with an ungovernable herd of bulls and is ready to stampede! Will Sammy, Dralistico y Beast Mortos be ready for these returning ROH icons? Or will this be a hot ‘n’ fresh start for The Drip God, The Infinite & Rhett Da Threat?

The trios sort out, Mortos starts against Titus and the fans rally up. Titus offers a handshake but Mortos refuses. Then he tags in Sammy! Sammy mockingly does warm-ups and circles with Titus. Sammy avoids Titus going for his legs, then uses the ropes for defense. Sammy then tags Dralistico and the fans actually applaud. But then Titus BOOTS Dralistico! Titus runs up, Dralistico dodges, and he blocks a kick to CHOP! And CHOP! Dralistico sits Titus down, goes side to side, SUPERKICK! Dralistico lounges on the top rope, Sammy celebrates, and Mortos tags in. Titus tags Burger, and the fans fire up!

Burger fires forearms, then runs, but Mortos blocks the rana! Mortos POWERBOMBS Burger, then DISCUS LARIATS! The fans cheer, Eli tags in, but Mortos kicks low. Titus storms in, but LFI mugs him and Eli 3v2! The fans boo but Mortos HEADBUTTS Eli! Sammy TOSSES Titus, Dralistico CHOPS Eli, and then LFI double whips him corner to corner. SPLASH! SPLASH! And SPLASH! Then a snapmare, and TRIPLE BASEMENT DROPKICKS! Sammy spins into his pose, and they all raise the LFI fist. Mortos drags Eli up, the fans rally, and Eli fires hands! He and Mortos go back and forth, then Eli dodges to SUPERKICK!

Eli runs, shoves, but Mortos comes back to HEADBUTT! Dralistico hits a FLYING CODE BREAKER! Eli is down, Dralistico runs, but Burger & Titus avoid the baseball slide dropkick. Burger swings, misses, and Dralistico SUPERKICKS! Titus BOOTS and whips Dralistico, but Dralistico reverses! Titus hits railing hard! Mortos POP-UP SAMOAN DROPS Eli! Tag to Sammy, he goes up, and he grins as the fans boo. Sammy rises up to flip Eli off and SWANTON BOMB! Cover, LFI wins!

And then LFI just adds on by stacking and stomping their opponents! Sammy grabs a mic to say, “Hey, hey, hey, hey!” The fans chant, “Sammy Sucks! Sammy Sucks!” Sammy says no, PHILLY sucks! The fans boo, but Sammy says no, for real! You could move anywhere in the world. Some may be born here, but you can MOVE! Philly SUCKS! The fans chant, “Texas Sucks! Texas Sucks!” Sammy says hey, he actually agrees. That’s why he moved to Orlando, dumbasses! The fans chant, “Florida Sucks!” Sammy says shush, Everyone’s Favorite Pillar is talking now. Be respectful! He knows this is a tribute to Dean, and he knows Dean’s favorite wrestlers. One of them was Sammy!

The fans boo but Sammy says another one was Mortos! The fans do like Mortos, though. And another has to be Dralistico! The fans cheer again. Dean had his Mount Rushmore, so obviously the fourth man is RUSH! But here’s what Sammy has to say. “LFI is stronger than it’s ever been. If you have a title, anybody in the back, then you have a problem. And in fact, here’s what you gotta know. When you mess with the bull…” Rush adds, “You get the horns! And listen, that message is for everyone! Even you, perros! If somebody or someone has any problem with our brother, then you have a problem with LFI! Because remember, step by step, step by step… AEW is about to become OUR EMPIRE, cabrones!”

LFI has issued their message, and then they go back to beating up on Burger, Titus & Eli! The fans boo, Rush RAMS Titus into the railing! Sammy says that’s LFI, baby! Will AEW and ROH all be tranquilo?

The Swirl speaks.

Big Shotty Lee Johnson tells Bandido, “Now, I may have come up short in our match. But as you can see by how Blake Christian handled you after the match, Swirl is always one step ahead. Blake, talk to ’em.” The Vanilla Baby says, “One step ahead, undefeated, and undeniable! That makes ME the Flavor of Inevitability! If you wanna know what that tastes like, you got a little taste test when I was holding that ROH World Championship high above my head. Now, I give it to you, you set a standard for what it means to be a ROH World Champion. You have done the legacy of that championship proud.

“But you are just like Jay Lethal. You are an old chapter in a book that should’ve been closed a long time ago. Because this is a new era of ROH, and there is only one flavor that is meant to lead it. And that is me, V-A-N-I-L-L-A, Baby!” Blake has spoken, but when and where will he get his golden opportunity?

ROH Pure Championship: Lee Moriarty VS Josh Woods!

This title has been held by some of the best wrestlers in the world, emphasis on wrestlers. It takes that perfect blend of speed, strength, skill and strategy to rule the Pure Division, and while #TAIGASTYLE may have raised the bar, the Technical Beast still paved the way. Now these two battle on a show that’s all about technical wrestling! Who proves they are truly the best wrestler today?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who is ready for Action!

The Code of Honor is upheld, the bell rings, and we’re on the clock with a one hour time limit. The two tie up, Woods waistlocks, then he spins Lee to a facelock. Lee wrenches out, wristlocks, but Woods steps around to spin and waistlock Lee again. Lee headlocks, Woods grabs a leg, but Lee drops. Woods pushes him over, waistlocks, but Lee fights up to switch, then cravat. Woods CLUBS the arms, headlocks, but Lee powers up and out. Woods trips Lee, steps over, but Lee drags him into a cradle! They roll, roll, roll and the fans cheer! Things settle, Lee has it, TWO! The fans cheer again as the two have a standoff.

Woods applauds, he admits that was good. They reset, circle, and tie up. Lee facelocks, Woods fights up and around to waistlock, but Lee spins out. Woods whips Lee, Lee goes up and over, then he rolls away to do his dance. The fans cheer, Woods runs up, but Lee hurdles! Things keep moving, Lee arm-drags, then he trips Woods! Lee runs to PENALTY KICK the arm! The fans cheer while Woods clutches the elbow. Lee covers, TWO, and BORDER CITY STRETCH! Woods rolls things into the ROPEBREAK, and the ref says that counts on Woods. That is his first of three and the fans applaud as the two reset.

Woods and Lee feel things out, Lee wrenches, and Lee ELBOW BREAKERS! Woods clinches, Lee powers up but Woods whips him away. Things speed up, Woods hurdles, but Lee blocks the hip toss! Woods blocks in return, arm-drags, and he ties the legs up, REVERSE CLOVERLEAF! Lee flails, ROPEBREAK! And there is Lee’s first! Woods grins as things are even again, and we’re not even four minutes in. The two go again, tie up, and Woods hooks a leg. The fans rally as Woods trips Lee, but Lee kicks Woods away. Lee arm-drags, has the armlock, but Woods endures. Woods fights up, fights around, and he powers his way to an armlock.

Lee powers his way back to an armlock, but Woods powers up again. They go back and forth with the armlocks, the fans cheering Lee and booing Woods. Woods goes to his knees, the fans cheer this technical exchange, and Woods whips Lee away. Lee goes up, but Woods sends him onto the ropes! Woods then goes up to SLINGSHOT GUT WRENCH PLEX! Cover, TWO! Lee stays in this but Woods drags him up. Woods suplexes to GOURD BUSTER! Lee sputters and clutches his ribs, but Woods is right after him again. Woods puts Lee in the ropes, fires body shots, then he fires knees! Woods then hooks a leg in the ropes, and just pulls!

Lee endures, the ref reprimands, and Woods lets go. The ref says this counts as Lee’s ropebreak! Woods is oddly annoyed, he wanted to keep doing damage. Woods drags Lee to a cover, TWO! The fans rally up for Lee as he stays in this, but Woods KICKS Lee! Woods gut wrenches again for another suplex! Woods holds on, he drags Lee up again, GUT WRENCH PLEX! Woods just keeps on Lee, drags him up again, and then GUT WRENCH- NO, Lee RANAS free! Woods tumbles out of the ring and walks it off while the fans rally. Woods hurries back in, but Lee dodges to wrench and PELE the arm! Woods clutches the elbow and the fans cheer.

Lee wants the arm, traps it, SNAP LOCK! SNAP LOCK! And SNAP LOCK! The fans fire up for Lee but even Lee has to stretch out his side. Lee grabs an arm, bends fingers, twists the wrist, and cording holds again. Woods fights up, but Lee traps him in the ropes with a COBRA TWIST! The ref counts, Lee lets go, and that is Woods’ second ropebreak. Lee says he’s too smart for Woods. We’re just eight minutes in as Lee whips, but Woods reverses. Lee slings through to the apron, then catches Woods, to TWEAK the arm! The fans fire up, Lee springboards and FLYING LARIATS! Cover, TWO! Woods toughs it out but Lee stays cool.

“This is Awesome!” as Lee looms over Woods. Lee drags Woods up, underhooks, but Woods fights it. Lee flips through to the ARMBAR- NO, Woods clasps hands, stacks Lee, TWO! Lee still has the arm, he pries the grip open, ARMBAR!! Woods flails, rolls, but Lee use sit to be a DISARMER! Woods keeps moving, but ends up in a TRIANGLE HOLD! Woods endures, the fans rally, and Woods deadlifts Lee! POWERBOMB! Then a flip and KNEE! Then the suplex, ANARCHY into the corner! Cover, ROPEBREAK!!! The ref saw it just in time! Woods thought he won, but Lee’s last ropebreak saves him!

Woods is furious, and he SMASHES and STOMPS away on the leg! Then ANKLE LOCK!! Lee endures, reaches out, he has the ropes but it doesn’t count now! We hit 10 minutes, Woods reels Lee in, LEG TRAP- NO, Lee victory rolls! TWO and Woods has it! TWO, and Lee has the EURO CLUTCH!! LEE WINS!!

Winner: Lee Moriarty, by pinfall (still ROH Pure Champion)

Woods is shocked, but he got caught off guard by Lee! THE longest reigning Pure Champion continues that reign, and he celebrates with his team, Shane Taylor Promotions. Woods still shakes Lee’s hand to keep the Code of Honor, just how Dean would like it. Shane Taylor gets the mic and he says, “Ooh~, Philly, we whoopin’ ass like the Eagles, baby!” The fans cheer that! Shane says, “Action Wrestling, y’all have a reputation. Y’all’re supposed to be the smartest fans in this sport. Now, the people who run this, though, I dunno how smart they are. The fans cheer, and Shane continues by saying he’s a problem solver. He’ll do their job for him! He ain’t leaving until Action Wrestling sends him somebody to throw hands with! He doesn’t care who it is! Line ’em up, he’ll beat ’em down! But wait! Here comes AR FOX! Action is giving us a NEW main event, and it is the Whole Fox’n Show! But will Shane show him how to rumble, bad man, rumble?

Shane Taylor VS AR Fox!

The bell rings and the fans fire up for Fox. Fox offers a handshake, but Shane SPITS on that! Then Shane throws hands! Fox bobs ‘n’ weaves, kicks, but Shane blocks! Shane ducks the roundhouse, Fox leg sweeps, but Shane is too sturdy! Shane stomps, Fox avoids it, and Fox tries to sunset flip, but Shane stays up. Fox avoids more stomps, KICKS Shane in the back, then dodges Shane. Shane tumbles out of the ring, Fox builds speed, and Fox FLIES! Direct hit and Shane hits railing! Philly fires up for Fox as he gets in the ring and FLIES again! Another direct hit into the railing! The fans fire up and Fox goes back up!

Fox runs from the apron, but Shane moves! No kickflip so Fox CANNONBALLS! But Shane catches Fox to SWING him into railing again and again and again! The fans boo as Shane drops Fox, but Shane talks trash. Shane drags Fox up, puts him against the apron, and CHOPS! Fox sputters, Shane snarls, and Shane puts Fox in the ring. Shane storms in after Fox, pushes him over to cover, TWO! Shane talks trash on Fox, drags him up, but Fox fires body shots. The fans rally but Shane shoves Fox. Fox ducks but the SOUTHPAW LARIAT finds him! The fans rally for Fox but Shane drags him up. Shane puts Fox in a corner, to TOSS him across the way!

Shane watches Fox writhe, then he storms over. Shane drags Fox, Fox fires body shots and forearms, and Fox backs Shane down! Shane HEADBUTTS! Shane then reels Fox in, URENAGE! Fox writhes again, but Shane runs, only for Fox to avoid the leg drop! The fans rally, Fox and Shane rise, and Fox fires forearms. Shane fires back! The fans rally as the shots go back and forth, then Shane BODY BLOWS! KNEE LIFTS! But Fox ENZIGIRIS! Shane KNEES Fox! Fox gets up, goes Matrix, and he PELES! The fans fire up for Fox while Shane goes to a corner. Fox pounds the mat, the fans rally again, and Fox runs in, A-LIST LARIAT!

Fox adds some elbows, the ref counts and the fans cheer. Fox skins the cat to DROPKICK Shane! The fans cheer while Shane goes to the apron. Fox goes out after Shane to CUT- NO! Shane stops that and CHOPS! Fox fires a forearm, but Shane CHOPS again! Fox sputters, but Shane THROWS him, only for Fox to smoothly go to the barriers! Fox then jumps back, ARPON CUTTER! The fans are thunderous and Fox rises up! Shane is in the drop zone, Fox is on the corner, SWANTON BOMB! Cover, TWO!! Shane survives and the fans are shocked! But Fox just keeps the energy going and climbs right back up!

The fans rally as Shane is still down, and Fox SWANTON FLOPS as Shane moves! Shane winds up, and HAYMAKERS!! Cover, Shane wins!

Winner: Shane Taylor, by pinfall

That could’ve been a win by knockout, but it was a win either way! Will all of ROH and AEW soon belong to STP?

My Thoughts:

A great night for ROH, Action Dean, I think Segunda Caida is credited as well with all the lucha talent here, but just great pro-wrestling in general. I did still skip things, I just didn’t have time for such a big show. But skimming through, Billie and Nicole had a really good match, Yuta VS Mako was good but duh, Marina cheated to help Yuta, and then wow, Hair VS Hair and all No Disqualification, that got hardcore, both Demus and Connelly are great. I probably could’ve skipped LFI’s match because they were of course going to win, but that was a good story beat to cover given this was still treated as an ROH broadcast.

Good promo from The Swirl to call out Bandido, but it still feels like Bandido will win. Very good promo from The Premier Athletes, and while it just repeated the traits of Nese and Daivari, Stori’s response being strength was a great sorta punchline to it all. Great Pure Championship match from Lee and Woods, though I say again that a full hour is too much when they only went 10 and change. But the story beats of all the ropebreaks and Lee being saved by his last one was great, great win for Lee. STP then gave us the most impromptu “main event” that isn’t an MITB cash-in, and that’s kinda fun in itself. Shane VS Fox was great, but I figured Shane would win.

Maestros Contras Maestros was a great match, but I can see why it opened. They needed a lot of time for a Best 2 Outta 3 Falls, especially considering that it had some older luchadores in there with Panther and Pantera. Though, Panther sure wrestled like he was a young guy with all those ranas. Them forgetting there are no pinfalls was odd, not sure if they legit forgot or it was them pretending they forgot. I would’ve just not had those spots at all really, but we still got great stuff with each finish. Xelhua is a llave prodigy, but it was fitting that he tapped to the savvy vet in Blue Panther. And Hechi winning it for his team was also fitting, Hechi is going strong across ROH and AEW, he wasn’t gonna lose.
