With Shane Taylor Promotions as the NEW ROH World Six Man Tag Team Champions, a new title chase begins! Will Matt Taven & Mike Bennett get a great win with The Whole Fox’n Show? Or will Preston Vance, Cole Karter & Griff Garrison make everyone wanna join the Frat?

The Frat House makes everyone wait while they and “The Pledges” from Philly raise their red Solo cups. But then Taven DIVES onto them all! Talk about crashing the party! The fans fire up and Taven sees none of THE Frat House is in the pile! Jameson got his guys to safety, but then Fox BOOTS Vance from the apron! And then he IMPLODER CANNONBALLS onto them all! The fans fire up while Jameson freaks out! Fox drags Vance up, puts him in, and Bennett starts. The bell rings, Bennett CHOPS, and he CHOPS again! CHOP, CHOP, CHOP! Taven tags in, The Kingdom double whips, and they POP-UP BOSTON BAYONET! Taven covers, TWO!

The fans rally as Taven watches Vance go to a corner. Taven runs in, SPLASHES, then whips corner to corner. Vance reverses, Taven goes up and over then ducks under, DROPKICK! The fans fire up, because “IIIII’M… MATT TAVEN!” Jameson gets on the apron to say big whoop, we know who he is! No one cares! Taven chases Jameson off, but Vance distracts the ref so that Griff can DECK Taven with a sucker punch! The fans boo but the Frat mugs Taven on the outside! Bennett rushes over, but Griff BOOTS him down! So Fox FLIES! But The Frat catches Fox! And they THROW him into railing! Jameson talks trash while the fans boo.

The ref reprimands The Frat but they back off of Fox to put Taven in the ring. Vance suplexes and he holds Taven up in the stall! The fans boo but Vance waits until TEN for the SLAM! Cover, TWO! Taven is tougher than that but Vance talks trash. Vance drags Taven up, ROCKS him, and Taven is in the corner. Tag to Griff and the Frat mugs Taven again. Griff ROCKS Taven, has him in a corner, and fires body shots. Griff whips corner to corner hard, and Taven falls to the mat. Griff drags Taven over, tags Vance back in, and now he tags Karter. The Frat sets up, DOUBLE BOOTS and a DROPKICK! Karter soaks up heat, then stomps Taven.

Karter CHOKES Taven, the ref reprimands, but Karter stops. Karter drags Taven up, bumps him off buckles, and he tags Vance. They CHOP Taven on the back! And then CHOP on the front! Taven fires forearms but Vance trips him! Vance BLASTS Bennett off the apron, then wrangles Taven. Vance whips Taven to the Frat corner, but Taven stops short! Taven rolls under Vance’s lariat, then ENZIGIRIS! Vance wobbles, Taven crawls, hot tag to Fox! The fans fire up as Fox BOOTS Griff, BOOTS Karter, then springboards to CANNONBALL them both! The fans fire up but Vance is back! Vance kicks low, whips, but Fox reverses.

Fox runs in at the corner, A-LIST LARIAT! Karter runs up but Fox ELBOWS him away! Fox sits Vance down, then skins the cat! DROPKICK for Vance, then a roll and CUTTER on Karter! The fans fire up again and Fox avoids a boot from Vance! Kip up, PELE, and Fox cravats. Vance powers out, runs up, but Fox TOSSES him out! Fox DUMPS Karter out, trips him up, then runs to BLACK HOLE STOMP! And then CANNONBALL onto Vance! The fans fire up as Fox even goes Matrix to dodge Griff! Griff comes back to IVY LEAGUE ELBOW! Griff puts Fox in, hauls him up, but Fox suplexes for ANARCHY! Cover, TWO!

Fox drags Griff over, tags Bennett, and Bennett fireman’s carries. Taven runs, but Griff slips free to shove Bennett into Taven! Then IVY LEAGUE ELBOW! Bennett staggers, Vance is in, DISCUS LARIAT! Griff covers, Fox breaks it! Vance gets Taven back out of the ring, Griff tosses Fox, and Karter tags in. Vance sends Griff in, but Bennett TOSSES Griff out onto Jameson! Vance runs up but Bennett TOSSES him, too! Karter tries, but Bennett BOOTS him! Bennett runs, but into a SNAP POWERSLAM! The fans boo but Karter goes up! 450 FLOPS as Bennett dodges! After Death Before Dishonor last Friday, The Infantry celebrated with Trish Adora and Shane Taylor! They were pumped to finally be champions! They spray the champagne, drink it up, and they talk to the cameras. Carlie Bravo says, “This was never about y’all. This was always about them.” Shawn Dean asks, “And who’s them?” Carlie says, “WE them!” Dean says this proves it! The Infantry, the very first match on the ROH rebrand! Shane Taylor, an ROH mainstay! For YEARS! Every time, they said they were them, best thing going, no matter where you put them on the card. They EARNED these! You can never stop this!

Shane says he is happy for Carlie, and for Dean. You look at him, he still isn’t happy. Y’know why? Because he EXPECTS this ish! He expects to win titles, to dominate, and for Philly to react the way they did! Every city will react the way Philly did! The fans were cheering “S T P!” Shane is happy for everyone else in the ROH locker room and every fan of ROH. Why? Because you witnessed history! Not just STP winning titles, but STP starting a NEW era in ROH! Anybody that doesn’t wanna make this the priority, that doesn’t wanna make this the standard, there’s the door! Spanish Announce Project VS The Premier Athletes w/ Mark Sterling!

Angelico y Serpentico are coming off a win just last night, while Tony Nese & Ariya Daivari aren’t so lucky. But Smart Mark, bad arm in a sling, is still here to interrupt Bobby Cruise and take over the introductions. “Ariya Daivari & Tony Nese want you to shut your barbarian mouths and listen up, because I have something important to say. In case you’ve been living under a rock, I’m HURT! I’m injured! And they think I might need surgery! At the hands of Ishii & Hologram.” The fans cheer that, but Sterling says he is here to say, “NO MORE!” It ends tonight! No more assaults, he has a contingency plan!

So when he says, “Athletes,” you fans say, “Rule,” and nothing else! Hands in, boys. Oh, Sterling can’t put a hand in… “ATHLETES!” “SUCK!!” Gottem again! But now, SAP makes their entrance and the vibe changes. Will the South African Stud & #SNAKEMAN humble the Premier Athletes once and for all? Or will that Premier Contingency Plan come into play already?

The teams sort out and Angelico starts against Nese. The Code of Honor is upheld, if just barely, and the bell rings. The fans rally as Angelico and Nese circle. They tie up, go around, and Angelico wrenches to wristlock. Nese rolls, wrenches, and slips through to wristlock back. Angelico fights up, spins and slips through to then spin Nese and wrench for a wristlock. The fans cheer, but Nese spins, only for Angelico to wrench! Nese spins again, but Angelico wrenches again! But Nese pulls Angelico’s ear! The ref reprimands, the fans boo, but Nese RAMS Angelico in the corner. Nese whips, Angelico reverses, but Nese stops to ELBOW Angelico!

Nese goes up and over, does jumping jacks to show off, but Angelico runs up. Nese gets around to waistlock, Angelico switches, but Nese bucks the O’Conner Roll. Angelico stands, trips Nese to cover, ONE! Angelico trips Nese again to cover, ONE! Angelico DROPKICKS, then pops up to do the Bernie Lean! Sterling is furious, Nese runs up, but Angelico trips him with the drop toehold! Angelico calls to #SNAKEMAN and the fans fire up. Angelico tags Serpentico, he goes up, and Angelico wrenches before Serpentico DOUBLE STOMPS the arm! SAP then double whips Nese, double drop down, and they trip Nese!

The fans cheer as Angelico then has a HIP TOSS for Nese, and a ZANMAI, aka hip toss senton onto Nese! Serpentico then PLANKING SPLASHES! Cover, TWO! The fans rally behind Serpentico but Nese throat chops! Tag to Daivari, but Serpentico arm-drags Daivari! And arm-drags again! Serpentico UPPERCUTS Daivari, the fans fire up with him, and he whips Daivari to ropes. Daivari reverses, Nese gest a cheap shot in, but Serpentico DECK Shim for it! Daivari then DECKS Serpentico! The ref reprimands, but Daivari taunts Angelico. Daivari drags Serpentico up, scoops him, and then SLAMS him! The fans boo but Daivari drops the KNEE! Cover, TWO!

Daivari drags Serpentico up, the fans chant, “Athletes Suck!” but Daivari puts Serpentico in the ropes. Daivari CHOKES Serpentico, the ref counts, and Daivari stops. Serpentico dangles there, and now Nese CHOKES Serpentico! The fans boo, Angelico protests, but the ref misses it all. Daivari tags Nese, Nese goes up, GUILLOTINE LEG DROP! Cover, TWO! Serpentico toughs it out, but Nese bumps Serpentico off the buckles. Then he SCRAPES Serpentico’s face off the ropes! The ref reprimands, Nese stops to argue with him, and Daivari CHOKES Serpentico again! The fans boo more but Daivari gets away with this one.

Nese runs and slides to trip Serpentico! The fans boo more but Nese PREMIER TRIANGLE FLOPS as Serpentico moves! Daivari runs up, Serpentico dodges! Daivari hits buckles, Nese grabs Serpentico’s leg, but Serpentico hops! Daivari tags in first, the Athletes YANK Serpentico back, then they run up! Serpentico dodges them both, hot tag to Angelico! Angelico rallies with LARIAT after LARIAT! Daivari catches Angelico but Angelico BOOTS Nese away! Angelico RAMS Nese into buckles, then arm-drags him away. And he uses Daivari as a step to AX HANDLE Nese! The fans fire up and Angelico trades shots with Daivari!

Angelico goes Matrix, fires off a strike fest, then he KNEES Daivari! The fans fire up as Angelico whips, but Daivari reverses, only for Angelico to roll off Daivari’s back! Daivari jumps the leg sweep but the EDDY GORDO KICK connects! Cover, TWO! Daivari toughs it out but the fans rally up. Serpentico tags in, climbs up, and Angelico hits as FLATLINER! SWANTON BOMB from Serpentico! Cover, Nese breaks it! The fans boo but Angelico is in, JAB, JAB, and JAB! Angelico whips, Nese reverses and SOBATS! KNEE LIFT! WHEEL KICK! Serpentico SUPERKICKS Nese! Serpentico puts Daivari in the drop zone, goes up a corner, but Sterling gets on the apron! Serpentico is annoyed, and the ref warns Sterling. But wait, who is this getting int he ring!? A towering young lady grabs Serpentico for a CHOKE SLAM! Then she gets out of the ring before the ref ever sees! Cover, Premier Athletes win!

They coped you, and now they finally gave you their Seed~! And after their victory over Dark Order, Seed is undefeated, undeseeded, and unprecedented! Unpre-SEED-dented?

Well, either way, they are going to spread domination, SEEDOMINATION, across the locker room! Whether in ROH or AEW, know this: When you face MXM TV, you’ll be taking more than their fists to your face! You’ll be taking their SEED! Um, innuendos aside, will Johnny even make it past The Sauce tonight? Or will Alex Zayne not be #TVReady?

The Code of Honor is upheld, the bell rings, and then Johnny pokes Zayne in the eyes! Then he fires forearms in the corner! But Zayne fires back! Zayne ROCKS and CHOPS Johnny, puts him up top, and he climbs up after Johnny. The fans fire up but Johnny again pokes Zayne in the eyes! Zayne staggers, Johnny fakes the springboard, then hops down to ROCK Zayne! Johnny flexes, the fans do cheer, and Johnny runs to CALF KICK! Johnny fires up, keeps moving, and SHINING WIZARDS! Cover, TWO! Zayne is tougher than that but Johnny keeps on him. Johnny TOSSES Zayne outside, distracts the ref, and that lets MXM TV mug Zayne!

The fans boo, Mansoor plays dumb, and Johnny goes out after Zayne. Johnny RAMS Zayne into the apron, MXM distracts the ref with their POSES, and Taya becomes Johnny’s weapon as he POWERBOMBS her against Zayne and the apron! The fans boo but Johnny puts Zayne in. Mansoor tells commentary that they saw NOTHING! Johnny covers, TWO! Zayne is still in this, but Johnny drags him up. Johnny RAMS Zayne into the corner, fires forearms and elbows, then a GAMANGIRI! Johnny snapmares and chinlocks to grind Zayne down. The fans rally while Zayne endures, and Zayne fights up to his feet.

Zayne fires body shots, then elbows! Zayne runs, Johnny follows, FLYING CHUCK! Johnny taunts the fans, then tells Taya to come on up. Taya hops onto the apron, Mr. & Mrs. TV kiss! The fans fire up with Zayne, and he hits the BAJA BLAST! Cover, but MXM drags Johnny out of the ring! The ref says he SAW them do that! Taya says no, he is mistaken! The ref counts, but Zayne hits the CINNAMON TWIST SENTON! Down go MXM and the fans fire up! But Johnny SUPERKICKS Zayne! Johnny puts Zayne in the ring, drags him up, MOONLIGHT- NO, Zayne slips through, ducks the roundhouse, and pump handles, TACO DRIVER! Cover, but Taya distracts the ref! The fans boo, but then Mansoor slips in, and sprays SEED in Zayne’s face!! The fans boo more but then Johnny covers, Johnny wins!

ROH looks back on Athena’s 1000 DAYS.

The Fallen Goddess herself says, “Making history, it’s not for the weak. It’s for me.” Flashback to 2022 as Athena felt lost trying to be the “good guy” everyone wanted her to be, and then something changed. She finally gave up on that, showed her true colors, and she became “forever.” She won, won, and won again, had friends, turned them into Minions, battled Billie, beat Billie, twice, and survived everyone who came after her. Nyla Rose, Hikaru Shida, Queen Aminata, Abadon, Alex Windsor, Momo Watanabe, Thunder Rosa, Mina Shirakawa, an all-star cast to say the least. “I am forever.” But if that is true, then who will be next to be added to that list of fallen opponents?

But we also saw that the “CLØN” is waiting in the shadows, will tonight be when he strikes? Or can Hologram focus on The Extra Talented opponent first?

The Code of Honor is upheld, the bell rings, but then Solow SOBATS! The fans boo but he fires forearms instead. Solow whips, Hologram reverses, and things speed up. The fans chant, “Solow Sucks!” Hologram leaps over, dodges, but Solow avoids the arm-drag! Solow flips Hologram over, but Hologram kips up to spin and arm-drag! Solow spins to arm-drag, Hologram arm-drags, then Hologram trips Solow to step over. Solow rolls free, trips Hologram, then steps over, but Hologram stuffs La Magistrol into a cradle, TWO! Things keep going, Hologram dodges to handspring, and the fans fire up!

Solow and Hologram reset, Hologram gets the fans fire dup, but Solow sucker punches! The fans boo as Solow has Hologram in the corner. Solow fires forearms, then whips him to ropes. Hologram handsprings, Solow dodges, things keep moving! Hologram RANAS Solow out of the ring! The fans fire up and Hologram slides, but Solow dodges. The fans boo, Hologram loses track of where Solow went, and Solow is in the ring! PLANCHA! Down goes Hologram and Solow talks trash! The fans boo more, but Solow drags Hologram up. Solow RAMS Hologram into the railing, then RAMS him again! Solow puts Hologram in the ring, then soaks up more heat.

Solow goes up the steel steps, steps into the ring, then runs to KNEE DROP! Cover, ONE! Hologram is tougher than that, but Solow drags him up. Solow puts Hologram in a corner, then snap suplexes! Solow looms over Hologram, kicks him around and taunts him. Solow drags Hologram up, CHOPS, and Hologram goes to ropes. Solow CHOKES Hologram, taunts the fans, but he stops at 4. Solow ELBOWS Hologram down! Cover, TWO! Solow huffs ‘n’ puffs, then he mocks the fans cheering Solow on. Solow says he’s gonna show Hologram’s ugly face! He claws at the mask! The fans boo, the ref reprimands, but Hologram fights up to fire forearms! Solow KNEES low, THROWS Hologram, but Hologram slips out to the apron! The fans cheer as Hologram dodges Solow going up, then going over, but Solow avoids the scissor kick! Solow whips Hologram to the corner, but Hologram slips between the bars! Solow tries again, Hologram slips free and RAMS Solow! Snapmare then slingshot DOUBLE STOMP!

Solow sputters as he tumbles out, and Hologram FLIES! Down goes Solow and the fans fire up! Hologram is feeling it as he high-fives fans. Hologram brings Solow up and into the ring, then waits on Solow to stand. Hologram blocks a shot, wrenches, hammerlocks, and clinches, FACEBUSTER! Cover, TWO! Hologram runs up but Solow clinches, EXPLODER! Cover, TWO! Both men are down and the fans rally up. Solow rises, Hologram sits up, and Solow fires a flurry of forearms! Solow SOBATS, then runs, but Hologram sweeps the legs! Hologram handsprings, Solow avoids a kick to SUPERKICK! Solow aims again, but Hologram deflects!

Hologram SOBATS, FRONT KICKS, HEEL KICKS, but Solow DREAMCAST KICKS! Both men are down again and the fans fire back up! Solow and Hologram stir, Solow uses the ropes to stand, and Solow goes to the corner. Hologram rises as Solow climbs. Solow flips the fans off, then leaps, but Hologram JUMP KNEES! ROH World Championship Proving Ground: Bandido VS Lee Johnson w/ Blake Christian!

Speaking of title shots, Bandido is indeed The Most Wanted with this belt around his waist, but he wouldn’t have it any other way. But will Bandido deny Big Shotty his shot? Or will one half of “The Swirl” say enough is enough and finally have a golden ticket to the top?

Philly is already fired up for Bandido, and Lee is already annoyed. The Code of Honor is upheld, but then Johnson kicks low! The bell rings as Lee fires hands and we’re on the clock! Bandido returns fire, Lee KNEES low, then he runs. Bandido Tiger Wall Kicks! Things keep moving, Bandido springboards to FLYING ARM-DRAG! Lee comes back, Bandido sidesteps and hurdles, but Lee waistlocks. Bandido switches, Lee RAMS Bandido into a corner, then he runs corner to corner and back again. Bandido dodges, runs in, but Lee puts him on the apron. Bandido GAMANGIRIS Lee, then avoids Blake Christian’s cheap shot!

Vanilla Baby says sorry, but Lee DROPKICKS Bandido off the apron! Bandido hits barriers, the fans boo Lee, but Lee drags Bandido up for an APRON BACK SUPLEX! Bandido writhes, Lee flexes and shouts, but the fans boo more. Lee storms into the ring, rains down fists, then stops to soak up the heat. Lee drags Bandido to a drop zone and he goes to a corner. Lee climbs up, the fans boo, but Lee DIVING- NO, Bandido dodges! We hit the five minute mark as Bandido BOOTS Lee! Bandido runs, but Lee SUPERKICKS! Lee runs, but into a POP-UP CUTTER! Bandido hurries to get Lee up, gut wrench to the torture rack! X-KNEE! Lee flops over, Bandido covers, Bandido wins!

Winner: Bandido, by pinfall (denies Lee Johnson a title opportunity)

Big Shotty couldn’t outdraw the Outlaw, he’s crossed off the list! But then Blake slithers in! Handspring and LETHAL INJECTION!? The Vanilla Baby cheap shots the current world champion while copying a former one! Blake picks up the world title, is he going to collect on Bandido’s bounty?

My Thoughts:

A very good YouTube episode of ROH, though at about an hour and 40 minutes… Was this to get through material while they were still in Philly? Or was this to get in SmackDown’s way as retaliation for WrestlePalooza? Maybe it’s both, since it did both. I skipped what was mostly filler, though I probably could’ve skipped others still. Deonna and Trish were of course both winning their Pure Rules matches, those were tune-ups for the tournament match. Which will happen…? I swear, TK better not be dragging this out until Final Battle literally three MONTHS from now. But at the same time, is there time to crown the first champion and then find a challenger for Final Battle? Probably not.

Great opening Six Man with AR Fox & Kingdom beating Frat House. That with the very good promo from STP, I could see a makeshift trio try and beat STP and fail to give STP a solid first defense. Premier Athletes of course won thanks to their new muscle, the 6’3″ Stori Denali, and that was quite the surprise. If nothing else, this is a doorway to Stori getting after a women’s title in the future, so good for her having this role. I probably could’ve skipped Johnny VS Zayne if not for the promo leading into it. Hologram VS Solow was really good stuff, but I guess it’s not yet time for CLØN, though that would’ve really gotten people’s attention for this episode.

Really good main event, with Bandido naturally beating Lee Johnson. And after the detour of Don Callis Family going after Bandido, I appreciate they’re circling back to Blake Christian wanting his turn. Bandido VS Blake will surely happen before Final Battle, but I would think Bandido wins then, too. Similarly to Athena, I can’t be sure anyone has actually been built up within ROH to take the top titles off Bandido. Hopefully they use the next three months to Final Battle to try it.
